Carlos Rodon gets a standing ovation as he leaves the mound. Thank you, Carlos, for pitching a great game. He pitched 5.2 innings, 110 pitches, and didn't give up a run!! He got 6 strikeouts and only 3 hits and 5 walks. He's one of our best starters these days. Our starting pitchers have been struggling, but not Rodon. His past 5 starts have been great. He's proving that he's a force to be reckoned with. You go, Carlos!!! I love how intensely he wants to stay in the game. His passion is obvious, and his skill is impressive. It's refreshing to see a pitcher who does his job well and doesn't give the game away. It's a joy to watch him pitch. Let's go Yankees!!!!!

Carlos Rodon after 6 great innings with 10 strikeouts!! That's his best record this year!! He looked as good as he did at the beginning of the season!! Good stuff, Carlos!! Great stuff!! Those 7 days off really helped. 😍 let's go Yankees!!!!!

Just remembered I took a nap earlier and I had a dream that was lengthy and weird as my dreams tend to be but one part I remember was Carlos Rodon was at my parents house as were a bunch of other people including the kids of one of my moms friends and several other baseball players and my mom started going off on this rant about people who kept going to this stupid lil breakfast restaurant I’m pretty sure my subconscious made up and then started in on people who buy really expensive organic free range eggs which I knew Rodon did and I was horrified she was saying all this with him literally right beside her 😂

The crowd is on their feet and making noise!! Carlos Rodon has had a great 6 innings!! He's just over 90 pitches so he knows that it's his last inning of the night. As he leaves the field, he waves goodbye to the crowd. I bet that he's feeling very good about his performance tonight. I know that I am!! Brilliant game, Carlos!! Spectacular pitching!!! Thank you, Carlos!!

Carlos Rodon has gotten first place for the most whiffers in a post season game with 84. He beat Gerrit Cole's record of 83. I love these guys. My boys!!
