Transformer Reforged: The Stunticons 🏁🏎
Tumblr media
Each of them are supposed to represent a different type of motor sport! And MotorMaster is their hauler / boss.
Deadend is Nascar / stock car racing. Breakdown is street racing. Wildrider is demolition derby and Dragstrip is drag racing (funny car drag racing specifically)
Though they each represent a type of motor sport, they are not limited to that singular type. On Cybertron they all competed in various types of races together. On earth, they chose forms they felt came most naturally.
MotorMaster is still a work in progress. Trying to figure out how I want his alt mode to work and if his trailer becomes part of him so he doesn't have to just leave it around 🤔 meaning he'll be a pretty big fella! This is his full alt mode atm ⤵️ he carries the boys around.

My city has a biennial "Curbside Cleanup" event in April. People can set out large items for a special trash collection. We put things out starting on a Thursday. They are collected by trash haulers on Saturday.
In the days leading up to the collection people ("scavengers" we call them) drive slowly through the neighborhoods looking for scap metal or items that are perfectly usable. It's kind of fun to watch the procession of beat up pickup trucks, U-haul trailers, and small cars with stuff tied to the roof.
Sheila and I sometimes host a watch party in the driveway. This year her brother grilled his Billy Burgers (amazing smash burgers) for all of us while we drank beer and waived at the drivers.
This year I got rid of an office chair, a couch, an ottoman, a usable vacuum cleaner (I left a sign on it stating that it worked), and a broken carpet shampooer. All but the couch were taken by people before the city came by on Saturday.
One year I put out a different couch and ended up helping a guy load it into his van. He didn't look poor. I asked what he was going to do with the couch. Perhaps it would go in the basement for the kids to use while gaming and eating chips?
"I own some rental properties. I like finding usable furniture to put in them." I got rid of something I'd replaced with a new couch, he got a couch for free. Nice how that works out because the couch didn't (yet) make it to the landfill.
Something inevitably seen on every block are office chairs set of for collection. Two years ago I put one out at the curb. Two years before that was another one. This year my current chair's "leather" was cracked. The latch or gear that can be set to not allow rocking or reclining sometimes worked. More than once I'd lean back and exclaim "oh shit" as I fell backwards. My neck and shoulders were starting to hurt when I worked.
That's no way to live.
This afternoon I went to a business that sells professional office furniture. The showroom is open to the public. A guy asked me some questions about how I sit, where I keep my keyboard, and so on.
He showed me two not inexpensive chairs. I loved the first one I sat in. I did try the other one. Then he said I could look around the used furniture showroom. I saw some decent, heavy-duty chairs there, but that first one I sat in, the new one, was perfect for me so that's what I bought. It will pay for itself because I won't be buying Target/Costco/Staples office chairs every other year.
My desk right now is from Ikea. It's held up okay, maybe 6/10 in how much I like it. New desks at today's store were very sturdy and high quality.
And expensive.
But I saw some used desks that had a few dings or scratches that cost lest than my Ikea desk. They looked like they'd last a lifetime. I wish I'd shopped here earlier.

Down on the farm, they used to have a saying. I don’t know what that saying is, because I was raised in a city, by loving parents who wanted more for me than to get crushed by a piece of industrial equipment at age 7. The fools. Ever since I’ve reached adulthood, I’ve been obsessed with the concept of farms. They’ve got storage space for cars. They’ve got shit breaking all day long that needs hack-job fixes. They’ve got storage space, for cars. Big Government isn’t coming by and rattling your cage over parking permits or draining coolant into wetlands, because they’re afraid you’ll murder them and hide their bodies inside a chicken coop. There’s room to park a bunch of cars.
Now, I still don’t live on a farm. There’s a couple reasons for that. Primarily, they’re expensive and smell bad. In fact, most of the farms around here have been silently bought up by enormous, semi-autonomous agriculture corporations, who hire workers to run the farm. No one lives on these farms, they just visit day to day like any average job, poking and prodding the livestock and crops as necessary. For months, the old Baker farm just outside the city limits would be completely unattended, except for one lonely security guard on Friday nights, who would do a circuit of the cornfield in his corporate diesel Cruze hatchback, looking for horny teens. This made the old Baker farm perfect for a little hanky-panky, me-style.
In my mind, I thought it would work like a time-share. I’d park my cars there during the winter, when no one was around, and get them the fuck out of there by the busy spring season. This would save untold hundreds of dollars in storage-unit fees, which was good. I was very tired of the storage companies lording it over us, chuckling and pocketing thick stacks of money as our economy ground to a halt and forced all of our cool junk into their vaults.
If I was really lucky, maybe my little trip to the farm would even make the bylaw officer in my neighbourhood think that I moved away or died, so he’d stop coming by every morning to ticket my shit over his morning Timmies coffee. There was just one problem: most (all?) of my cars didn’t move under their own power. That’s why they were being parked in the first place, because otherwise I’d be rotating them in and out, to throw off Special Constable Frank. I’d need something big to move them, and at the Baker farm, I found just that.
Now, of course I wasn’t “licensed” or even trained in the operation of a vintage ‘71 Chevrolet Titan semi truck, much less the car hauler trailer that I borrowed from the nearby Lexus dealer on the way. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that farm life means you have to make do with what you have. For instance, as long as I jammed the shifter really fast into third gear I didn’t really have to up- or down-shift the rest of the trip. Little loud, though.

Enclosed Auto Transport: What to Know
Enclosed transport is a premium vehicle shipping method that involves transporting cars inside fully enclosed trailers.
Tumblr media
Enclosed auto transport offers complete protection from weather, road debris, and other external factors, making it the safest option for vehicles requiring extra care.
Types of Enclosed Car Carriers: There are various types of enclosed car carriers available. Single-car enclosed haulers transport one vehicle at a time, offering the highest level of personalized care. Multi-car enclosed transporters can carry multiple vehicles, providing cost-effective protection. Soft-sided enclosed carriers feature flexible covers that shield against weather, while hard-sided enclosed trailers offer the most robust protection with solid walls on all sides.
Types of Cars for Enclosed Transport: This transport method is ideal for high-value vehicles like classic cars, luxury cars, exotic cars, sports cars, and motorcycles. It’s recognized as the safest way to ship a car, ensuring the vehicle remains in pristine condition throughout transit.
Safest Way to Ship a Car: Enclosed auto transport is widely regarded as the safest way to ship a car. By fully enclosing the vehicle within a protective trailer, this method shields it from all external elements, including harsh weather, road debris, and potential damage from other vehicles on the road. This level of protection is unmatched by open transport, making it the preferred choice for those who prioritize the safety and condition of their vehicle.
Price Factors of Enclosed Transport: The superior protection of enclosed transport comes at a higher cost. Factors such as distance, vehicle type, route, and season influence the price, with longer distances and larger vehicles typically costing more.
Lift Gate Technology: A key feature of enclosed auto transport is lift gate technology, a hydraulic platform that safely lifts and lowers vehicles into the trailer. This technology is especially beneficial for vehicles with low clearance or those that are inoperable, ensuring they are handled with the utmost care during loading and unloading.
For those looking to ship their vehicle with the highest level of safety and protection, enclosed auto transport is the optimal choice.

"Cal's Grief" (Grimdark/Romance/Sadfic/Darkfic) [Calie] Cal Weathers x Goldie (Humanized Cars 3 AU)
Chapter 1
Everybody had noticed it. It was in the way he walked. The way he talked. His body language just screamed it. Gone was Cal Weathers, that cheerful, brash speedster, replaced by...some hollow shell. He walked aimlessly in the trailer parking lot, as weeks of grief had taken its toll upon him. All of his friends knew that something was up, but none of them knew exactly what to do.
He had pushed them away when they had tried to confront him, lashing out like a wounded animal any time they tried to console him or plead him to get help. “Too headstrong” some would say. “Too proud” others still. But none of them realized the gravity of the situation until that one, fateful day. The day that Cal Weathers finally snapped.
After the race, Lightning was helping Mack his hauler as he did, he saw Cal walking around.
He stopped as heade his way to his best friend. "Cal!" Lightning called out!
“Huh…” Cal looked over to see his friend Lightning approaching. As Cal looked at his friend, the hollow shell that he had been for the last month looked at the blonde haired speedster.
“What do you want?” He said dryly, a hint of hurt and a small bit of sadness in his voice. It was so very close to his normal tone of voice. It was as if he wanted to speak with his friend, but something forced him to say those words to push Lightning away.
Lightning saw how tired Cal looked. "Woah..." He exclaimed.
Cal's hair was a mess, his eyes were bloodshot, and he looked tired.
"Are you... Okay?" Lightning asked.
Cal's eyes widened, as he heard those three words, and that comment he lashed out at Lightning McQueen.
Cal's voice snapped as he shouted "Of course I'm not okay! Of course I'm not okay! Nothings okay! My whole world is collapsing!" Tears were welling up in Cal's eyes and he turned away from his friend. "Just let me be!" Cal barked, not wanting any help or advice, even though he knew he needed it.
Lightning was taken aback as he looked at his friend. "Dude, I was only-!" He tried to explain but his friend cut him off.
"Shut up Lightning. Just shut up!" Cal shouted, turning back to face his friend. "You don't know what I'm feeling. You can't help me." He said, trying to push his friend away.
Lightning looked shocked and hurt as Cal spoke. He just wanted to help his friend, but he couldn't seem to even communicate with him. Cal's words cut him like a knife, and he turned away.
Lightning glared at him. "Fine! Leave! It's not like I need a dumbass bubble like you anyways..." He mumbled something under his breath.
Cal stopped and turned around to face Lightning and wanted him to say that again.
"What the hell, did you just say..." Cal asked.
"I said... that you're a dumbass bubble." Lightning repeated with a roll of his eye. Cal couldn't do anything but stand there, stunned by the sudden burst of rage from his friend. The words stung and Cal felt hurt by them.
Lightning then continued "A bubble filled with nothing but idiocy." He said, his voice harsh and cold as he turned to head back to his hauler. He wasn't about to stand around and fight with Cal. He was done with being nice to him.
Lightning started walking from him as he looked annoyed, then...
Cal jumped on him—he ambushed him!
Cal threw his arms around Lightning, causing him to stumble. A look of surprise and confusion flashed across his friend's face as he tried to process what was happening.
As the two toppled to the ground, Cal found himself on top of Lightning, his full weight pressing Lightning down into the pavement. Cal's eyes were full of anger, his face contorted into a mask of rage as he stared down at the surprised Lightning.
After a moment of surprise, Lightning quickly reacted. He rolled to the side, getting up off the ground from where Cal had pinned him. As Cal was still sprawled on the ground, Lightning stood up, and kicked him on the side, knocking him down to the ground.
Cal rolled onto his stomach and then rose up to all fours, growling, baring his teeth, and slowly circling around Lightning, like a predator stalking their prey. Lightning stood his ground, not letting Cal corner him. “Cal what the hell is wrong with you?!” Lightning shouted.
Lightning then reacted quickly as he punched him in the face as he looked horrified.
And they started fighting like wild animals.
Cal and Lightning fought, grappling with each other, punches and kicks flying. Lightning was faster and more agile, but he was smaller. Cal could pack a wallop, and with his muscles was able to hold down Lightning.
Lightning quickly ran out of the energy to fight such a large and strong opponent. He felt Cal's hand clamp down on his throat, cutting off his wind pipe and preventing him from breathing properly. Lightning couldn't fight back in this position, all he could do was struggle to free himself of this grip.
Lightning then kicked Cal in the groin. The blow caused Cal to loosen his grip, but he didn't let go of Lightning just yet. He grunted, but managed to hang on until he could get a better hold on Lightning.
Cal wrapped his arms around Lightning again and pulled him close, holding onto his neck tightly by the throat. This time, he didn't just clamp down on his wind pipe, he squeezed until he heard the sound of his friend choking.
Lightning strained and he threw dust in Cal's eyes. Cal blinked furiously as he tried to get the dust out of his eyes. He couldn't help but let go of Lightning's throat in order to try to rub the dust out of his eyes. He was stunned for a moment, blinking and rubbing his eyes vigorously. Lightning could only take advantage of Cal's vulnerable position for a moment before Cal was able to see clearly again.
Lightning then punched him in his, but Cal pounced on Lightning. Cal pounced on Lightning, his full weight crashing onto his already battered friend. He used his full advantage of being bigger and stronger and grabbed the small Lightning in a headlock and pressed his knee into Lightning's back. As Cal pressed down on Lighting, he could feel his friend struggle and try to get up. But everytime the smaller Lightning would get a small bit of traction and get back on his knees...Cal just used all his weight to press down on him again, keeping his friend on the ground.
"Say it." Cal demanded, his voice filled with anger and fury.
Lightning struggled, as he did, he headbutted Cal in the face with the back of his head.
Lightning groaned. "Make me!"
Cal looked down at Lightning and growled, his anger and grief taking over any rational thoughts he may have had. "Fine." He hissed and punched Lightning in the stomach, which he knew was weak due to the amount of racing that Lightning did.
"Say it or ill kill you." He demanded again, squeezing his friends throat tighter.
Lightning then used his legs as he kicked Cal in the stomach hard and painful.
Cal stumbled back, pain coursing through him from the hit to his stomach. He let his grip on Lightning go loose enough for the smaller car to roll out from under him. As he did, Lightning rolled onto his back and got back to his knees, where he looked at Cal, with hate and rage in his eyes.
Lightning then lunged at Cal with all the strength he had left in him, trying to knock his opponent off their feet.
Lightning and Cal were wrestling onto the ground. Cal tried to fend off Lightning. As the two fought on the ground, Lightning continued to try and punch and kick Cal, but Cal was able to hold him back with his strength and size advantage.
Cal eventually overpowered Lightning, and had him pinned on the ground once more. Still fuming, Cal loomed over Lightning, his face filled with hate. Cal then got on top of Lightning and started lifting Lightning up and down, Lightning kept hitting the ground until...
WHAMP!
Cal accidentally hit Lightning too hard.
Lightning fell back against the ground, and after a moment, Cal noticed that he wasn't moving or making any sound. Suddenly, Cal's anger dissipated as he realized what he had just done. He dropped to the ground, beside Lightning in a panic.
"Lightning? Lightning wake up!" Cal shouted as he put a hand at his friend's throat to feel for a pulse.
There was a pulse.
Cal breathed a sigh of relief, but it did little to calm his racing thoughts. How had this all escalated so much? He and Lightning were fighting, but then...
He knew.
He knew the reason that everything had gotten so crazy, why Cal had snapped, why he had done this to Lightning. Cal had been grieving, but not dealing with it in any healthy way. He'd bottled up his emotions, and because of that, he'd hurt Lightning.
One of the racers came in. "Cal?! What the- What the hell happened?!"
Cal knew that he had to lie, that he found Lightning like that.
Cam came into the scene, and picked up Lightning. "He's still breathing! But we gotta take him to the hospital!"
Cal scrambled to try and think of a lie, he couldn't just tell the other racer that he had attacked his best friend and possibly killed him. "I walked by and he was like this." Cal lied, trying to cover up the fact that he had done this. If he told the truth, it might ruin his reputation, and possibly even his whole life. He wouldn't dare tell the truth, he couldn't.
Cam came into the scene, and picked up Lightning. "He's still breathing! But we gotta take him to the hospital!"
Cal couldn't go with them, he ran away to a secluded area of the parking lot.
Cal curled up in the empty, dark parking lot. His emotions were all out of sorts, he didn't know how to handle his grief and it had finally caught up to him. He felt like his whole world was falling apart now, and it was all his fault. He didn't know what to do in this moment, and as the night closed in, he was alone in the darkness with the demons in his mind.
To be continued...

Hello hello!
Would like to know your opinion about Cal Weathers' parents story. Why did his uncle and aunt have to grow him up?
Hi! Welcome to my page! I heard you're new here so welcome to the community! I hope you enjoy your time with us cars and planes fans! Feel free to send in more asks!
So I HC that Cal's parents were killed while coming home from vacation. This was during the holiday season, so Strip was home. They were killed when they were coming down a hill, and a hauler was coming up. As the hauler tried to make a narrow turn, he missed and ended up flipping over into the opposing lane. His father was pronounced dead on site and his mother got transported to the hospital, but later on passed right after she was admitted.
Since Cal was little, Strip had to sit him down and talk to him about what had happened in simple terms. Once he found out, he cried. Lynda and Strip were devastated. Lynda even let her own tears release.
Lynda always wanted to be a mother. She wanted kids, but this wasn't the way she imagined it. Of course, things would change. She would have to stay home and care for Cal, which meant that her and Strip would be separated more often than before.
As the racing season approaches, Lynda ensures with Strip that Cal will have a normal life like any other child and they can't keep that from him. She doesn't want Strip to prioritize his career over him, as a way of distraction so that he can forget about what is going on in his personal life. She assures him that she can watch Cal and that everything will work itself out. Agreeing, Strip heads off to Daytona in his trailer. Lynda watches him leave, with Cal by her side. She knows all three of them are about to endure a wave of uncontrollable, conflicting feelings. And not one of them cared to fight it.
