Happy 25th Anniversary Oggy And The Cockroaches! (1998-2023)

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the animated series Oggy and the Cockroaches. Over the entire existence of this animated series, we have seen and heard a lot of things. In total, more than 500 episodes, 8 seasons and 1 full-length cartoon were released.

The animated series is considered a cult classic in many countries in Europe, Asia and North America, where they have the largest fan base: especially in India, Pakistan, France (home of the series), Germany, Italy, Vietnam, Singapore, in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the United States of America. Fans still love the animated series to this day, no matter what. Although formally, the animated series ended in 2019.

Aujourd'hui marque le 25e anniversaire de la série animée Oggy et les Cafards. Durant toute l’existence de cette série animée, on a vu et entendu beaucoup de choses. Au total, plus de 500 épisodes, 8 saisons et 1 long métrage d'animation ont été diffusés.

La série animée est considérée comme un classique culte dans de nombreux pays d'Europe, d'Asie et d'Amérique du Nord, où elle compte la plus grande base de fans : notamment en Inde, au Pakistan, en France (domicile de la série), en Allemagne, en Italie, au Vietnam, à Singapour, en Thaïlande, Malaisie, Indonésie et États-Unis d'Amérique. Alors que l’exposition « Années 80 » cartonne toujours aux Arts décoratifs, le musée présente, en parallèle, jusqu’au 11 Juin 2023, l’univers foisonnant d’Etienne Robial. Pour les amoureux de la Bande dessinée, Etienne Robial est un monument. En créant la maison d'édition Futuropolis, objet de la première partie de l’expo, il joue un rôle déterminant dans l'évolution du 9 eme art. Il accompagne l’envol de nombreux auteurs francophones comme Tardi, Bilal, Gir ou Montellier. Il importe des bandes dessinées américaines indisponibles en France, des grands classiques ( Popeye de Segar, ou Krazy kat d’Herriman) aux auteurs plus underground comme Robert Crumb. Il porte la bande dessinée aux rang de beaux-arts en publiant de grands romans contemporains illustrés par des artistes de BD. Le voyage au bout de la nuit de Celine, avec des dessins de Tardi, est un succès. La seconde partie de l’exposition se consacre au Robial graphiste s’inspirant des principes du Bauhaus. Ses créations sobres reposent sur le triptyque forme, couleur et alphabet . Il invente le concept d’habillage télévisuel en concevant l’identité graphique de Canal+. On se souvient tous des génériques de la chaîne composés de ces rectangles et carrés en noir et blanc et de ce logo elliptique arc en ciel. Le logo de M6 et du PSG, c’est lui. La police de l’Equipe, c’est encore lui. En 1986, à propos de Canal +, le monde salue « un look simple et élégant ». Une punchline percutante qui résume le style Robial . It really does seem like Max and Daniel were just on a besties date playing padel one on one, and Canalplus completely unrelatedly happened to be at the same courts filming Thierry Neuville hence why we got a tiny maxiel cameo.
