”can you feel my heart” is not a Christian song.

okay this is kind of just a rant but it’s annoying me sm

“CAN YOU FEEL MY HEART” IS NOT A RELIGIOUS SONG.

I see Christian posts all of the time with this song, or even some saying “yeah, this is a Christian song.”

NO IT IS NOT.

Almost the entire Sempiternal album is literally just a diss to Christianity. People really need to do their research before claiming something as “religious.” Bring Me the Horizon is the LAST artist you should associate with Christianity, or really any religion for that matter.

If anything, it’s disrespectful to both the artist AND Christianity to associate that song with. Yes, it is a good song. Yes, I can see how you may confuse it with a Christian song if you don’t know the artist or album. But does any of this make it a religious song? NO.

The song right after “Can you feel my heart,” is literally just talking about how Oliver (lead singer) doesn’t believe in God. “I’ll bow for your king when he shows himself,” “when you die the only kingdom you’ll see is 2 foot wide and 6 foot deep.”

Again, PLEASE people, do your research before claiming something as religious.

And before anyone comes after me, I am a Christian myself.
