Middelburg - Heimbach (Duitsland) - Bodenheim

Zaterdag 3 augustus

Vandaag vertrek ik weer voor een mooie reis naar Zuid-Duitsland, Oostenrijk en...Kazachstan!

Ok, Kazachstan daar ga ik dit keer niet met mijn campertje heen, dat is net te ver, ik vlieg 🙈 vanaf Frankfurt daar naartoe op 13 augustus.

Maar voor het zover is rij ik eerst nog richting Duitsland en Oostenrijk voor een paar mooie wandelingen. Ik heb mijn fiets dit keer thuis gelaten.

Ik vertrek rond half tien en mijn eerste stop is nog bij Decathlon in Kerkrade. Een paar laatste kleine dingen inslaan om vervolgens door te rijden naar het plaatsje Heimbach. Dit ligt in het nationale park de Eifel. Ik had hier een leuke kleine wandeling gezien wat heerlijk is als tussenstop.

De route van ruim zes kilometer loopt langs de Rur en door de bossen.

Het begint vrij simpel over de verharde weg om uiteindelijk over te gaan in een op sommige stukken glibberig bospad. Het is benauwd en erg warm dus een wandeling in de bossen is nu heerlijk.

Uiteindelijk loop ik langs Mariawald waar nog een kerkhof is voor Duitse soldaten uit de tweede wereldoorlog. Ook een klooster ligt langs de route met in de bossen af en toe een klein kappeletje.

Uiteindelijk leidt de route mij weer het dorpje Heimbach in. Ik besluit nog even een terrasje te pakken om vervolgens een slaapplek te gaan zoeken langs mijn route vanavond. Helaas ligt de Park4night app er door een technisch probleem even uit. Gelukkig weet ik nog een toffe plek waar ik in 2021 ook heb gestaan. In het plaatsje Bodenheim net onder Mainz stond ik toen onderaan wijnvelden. Het ligt nagenoeg op de route naar het zuiden dus ik besluit daar naartoe te rijden.

Onderweg wil ik nog een stop maken voor een kleine wandeling langs de Rijn. Helaas wordt de lucht erg donker en af en toe valt er een bui. Hmm, ik besluit maar direct naar de camperplaats toe te rijden om eventueel daar dan nog te wandelen.

Het is bijna 19.00uur voor ik aan kom opde camperplaats. Het is wat veranderd. Er staan veel meer campers, er is stroom en allerlei andere faciliteiten waar ik geen gebruik van maak. Wel zijn er nu toiletten,  dat is fijn, maar dan moeten ze wel open zijn...behalve het herentoilet wat natuurlijk weer eens enorm stinkt valt dat wat tegen. Maar ach, komt wel goed!

Ik eet gauw mijn salade want de zon schijnt nog net een beetje en de wijnvelden liggen er prachtig bij in het avondlicht.

Na mijn maaltijd maak ik nog een korte wandeling van een paar kilometer, maar door de heuvels verdwijnt de zon sneller dan bij ons thuis 😂. Toch is het super mooi!

Ik kan op deze camperplaats mijn luifel uitzetten, stoel buiten zetten dus het voelt net als een camping! Ik lees nog een boekje en drink een wijntje om te vieren dat ik weer op pad ben (en het past in de setting natuurlijk 😉).

Er zeigt die gesamte Vielfalt des Nationalparks Eifel und führt an Rursee, Urfttalsperre über die Dreiborner Hochfläche und durch den Wilden Kermeter. In Teilen verläuft der Wildnis-Trail parallel zum Eifelsteig. Das Wahrzeichen des Wildnis-Trails ist die Wildkatze (felix silvestris), auch Waldkatze genannt. Der Wildnis-Trail ist 85 Kilometer lang und in 4 Etappen aufgeteilt und sehr gut ausgeschildert. Das schöne an einer Eifelwanderung ist, dass durch weit ausgebaute Streckennetze für jeden Wanderer etwas dabei ist. Es gibt anspruchsvolle, nur schwer begehbare Pfade für anspruchsvolle und abenteuerlustige Wanderer. Aber auch gut ausgebaute Wanderwege, auf denen man mit Oma, Opa und den Kindern sorglos mit der Familie durch die Eifel wandern kann. In der Vulkaneifel kommen heute noch etwa 75 Maare vor, sowohl als wassergefüllte Maarseen, als auch in der weitaus überwiegenden Zahl der Fälle als Trockenmaar. Beide Maarformen sind daher typisch für die Vulkaneifel. Die letzten Ausbrüche der Vuulkane der Eifel liegen mindestens 11.000 Jahre zurück, aber viele Maare der Eifel sind noch einmal deutlich älter.

Pile 5: You guys seem to have very calming vacations with your spouse, some of you guys could be part of the LGBTQ+ lesbian specifically, or your spouse could be. I see peaceful rides I get more car rides than airplanes, someone may be scared of airplanes. You guys live very close to each other as well, school / work is the meeting but back to topic, Someone here likes to be held and cuddled a lot the more feminine energy since I sense someone here is very sensitive and more on the paler side! You or them! I sense you guys are from different backgrounds / colors. I saw “Leo” pop up and I think one of you guys may like ponytails / long hair a lot. Beautiful hair. You guys love calm lonely beaches (Someone here so an introvert!) and just watch the water flow calmly. I see bird watching as well in vacations and going to visit animals.. elephants & dolphins, one of you guys could be transgender. Someone here has more of a unconventional look (glasses?) someone here may have acne or skin problems. I see someone here is more insecure and travelling alone with your future spouse really eases you! You like to be away from people! I see a liking of cats strongly & dogs as well though, animals are so prominent in Vacations! “M” popped up. I see going to museums & small trips that are a little pricey but nothing expensive since you guys are in a budget but it’s a big one so. Someone here likes to eat a lot and that is something prominent in Vacations! Eating! You guys may visit Witches or more unknown stuff! Someone here is thirsty for knowledge and it shows I see libraries in vacations. It all seems very relaxing and loving my heart is so warm. And then I see some passionate kisses and the female energy is actually a little taller but appears “small”, someone here likes black pants. You guys may be visiting old stuff like Historic events and someone here likes old vintage stuff & cartoons.

Alpha/Omega Story Prompts

1. An omega, out camping for a few days with their friends, totally forgets to pack warm sleeping clothes or heating pads/hot water bottles. They’re shivering too much to sleep... but one of their alpha friends always runs hot... maybe they could slide in to their sleeping bag... just to chase away the chills of course! 

2. An alpha’s great uncle is dying. The doctors only give him a few weeks at most, and the substantial inheritance is the thought on everyone’s mind. This uncle is divvying up the money based on the number of people in each household, but the alpha lives alone and could really, really use the extra money. They ask one of their omega friends to fake mate with them, using make up to create a convincing mating mark. Oh! And if the omega could also pretend to be pregnant with triplets, that would be great!

3. The alpha is a famous heartthrob actor/actress, and the omega is up and coming in the industry. They get asked to fake date for publicity, but the omega is uncomfortable with doing this, and the alpha is fed up of being asked to do this repeatedly, so they come up with a plan to spite their management. They were asked to be seen together on a few dates, maybe be seen wearing some piece of the other’s clothing.... but no one was expecting cheating scandals, dramatic live streams, pregnancy teases, stalker exes, incredibly obvious hickeys and cringy tattoos. They’re going to make the management regret this (and also start the most hilarious collage of newspaper clips documenting their escapades.)

4. An omega and an alpha were childhood friends and lovers until the alpha had to move with their family to the other side of the world at age 17. They agree to be long distance friends until the alpha can move back, but one day, the omega suddenly ghosts. Nothing makes sense, until five years later when the alpha moves back and sees their old lover with two pups who look about five years old...

After a near death experience, a mated pair decide to make a bucket list to complete together as a form of therapy. The alpha writes ‘see the Northern Lights’, ‘swim with dolphins’ and ‘kiss on top of the Eifel Tower’, all things you’d expect. The omega writes ‘have sex after closing in the office’, ‘try medical roleplay’, ‘see what the fuss with handcuffs is all about’... Apparently they weren’t really on the same page when they agreed to make this list.... But hey, a deal’s a deal!!
