Need help for my dissertation
Hey there!
I'm working on my Master's in International PR and Global Communications, and I'm doing a study on how Diana, Princess of Wales, and Camilla Parker Bowles (Queen Camilla) shaped modern royal communications.
If you've spent most of your life in the UK, a Crown Dependency, a British Overseas Territory, or a Commonwealth Realm—or if you're just a history or royal family fan—you'd be perfect for my survey!
It only takes a minute, and if you could share it with others, that would be amazing.
Thanks a ton! 😊

“My royal wishes for 2024: everyone can accept Diana was flawed and a hypocrite while also accepting her good deeds; Meghan takes a vow of silence; Harry accepts his balding and shaves his head; Camilla isn't treated so horribly on social media as she has redeemed herself.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Léon Cogniet (1794-1880)
"Métabus et Camille"
In Virgil's Aeneid, Camilla is the daughter of King Metabus and Casmilla.
Driven from his throne, Metabus is chased into the wilderness by armed Volsci, his infant daughter in his hands. The river Amasenus blocked his path, and, fearing for his child's welfare, Metabus bound her to a spear. He promised Diana that Camilla would be her servant, a warrior virgin. He then safely threw her to the other side, and swam across to retrieve her. The baby Camilla was suckled by a mare, and once her "first firm steps had [been] taken, the small palms were armed with a keen javelin; her sire a bow and quiver from her shoulder slung." She was raised in her childhood to be a huntress and kept the companionship of her father and the shepherds in the hills and woods.

“I will forever find it interesting the Diana herself forgave Camilla, even saying in an interview that "I don't feel any animosity towards her anymore" and referring to her as being "discreet" "loyal" and "the love of Charles' life" - and yet Harry apparently can't let the affair go when he had no first hand experience of it, or at least none he would remember. Sounds like someone making excuses for their bad life choices to me.” - Submitted by Anonymous

camilla, follower of diana (asteroid 107)
Camilla was a maiden warrior who had the favor of Diana. In The Aeneid, Metabus (her father) is the one to dedicate Camilla to Diana as an infant. Metabus was running with Camilla from his enemies when he came to a river, and he realized that he could not swim across with her nor could he let them get captured. He then strapped her to a javelin, asked Diana to accept his offering, and hurled his child across the river. He swam across and (shockingly) found Camilla alive. The two lived in the woods as shepherds, and Metabus taught his daughter about hunting and other crafting. She grew up extremely skilled and ultimately became a leader for a group of warriors. Virgil describes the grown Camilla as so quick and sure-footed that it appeared as though Diana had blessed her with more than just battle abilities - it looked as though she could cross the sea without touching the water or move though a field of grain without a single plant rustling in her wake. IN MY OPINION Camilla in your chart can represent a) how your beliefs are groomed by you parents, b) how blessed/protected you are by Diana, c) how agile/dexterously you move, and/or d) where you are thought of as a great leader.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of camilla along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of camilla AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede camilla!
