Hi, I was wondering what kind of camera you use? Love your pictures! Also do you own a microscope and what kind? Recently graduated uni so I no longer have access to one and have been thinking about buying one for awhile (mostly to look at pond water and bugs under lol) thank you!!

I use a Canon Rebel T5i with the kit 18-55 mm lens. I've always intended on getting a macro lens but have a hard time justifying the cost. I use this digital microscope - it only goes up to 300x so isn't useful for anything on the cellular level, but it's great for seeing things that you wouldn't normally see with the naked eye. It's definitely one of my favorite possessions and has opened me up to the microscopic world of lichens and slime molds (and the springtails that eat them). Now I'm curious about how much I could see in pond water at that magnification! Like I need an excuse to bring home more biological samples. ;)

If I rewrite my resume today, then I can focus on applying to jobs tomorrow. But my brain has put that idea in the back of the fridge and is instead focusing on the snacks in the pantry labeled “Writing Ideas and What We Can Do About Them.”

However, my body is busy walking laps around the house, intent on neither of those options.
