I saw a fic where it insinuated that Patrick and Shelagh don’t have sex very often and I just laughed. That’s the biggest bs I’ve ever heard. Do you see the way they look at each other? There’s a reason they had a very recent pregnancy scare. Heck, there’s a reason they defied the odds and she got pregnant in the first place. The sexual tension is there people.

I gotta say in this full rewatch of call the midwife, I do miss the bits at the end that combined wisdom with how patients turned out and the changes of how medicine has approached certain diseases or conditions. it really just becomes Vanessa Redgrave rambling on towards the middle. I get we're a long way from Jenny atp but honestly...just make shit up, we're so far away from the books. we can pretend jenny knew about things

I guess everyone lives happily ever after, no matter what medical treatments and knowledge were available. everyone lived, unless previously dead.
