Ok I saw a post from @/relaxnotshaveeyebrows and I wanted to explained on my repost so I’ll do that here.
The post basically outlines Caitlyn and her becoming a dictator, and a Fascist
Its ok she’s all angry with grief, and I understand that she is heavily traumatized but she deals with it by buckling down and “claiming her power”, and people don’t realize that Cait “being a badass” is killing innocent Zaunites. Were reminded that she’s a Kiramman, but we’re also reminded that the enforcers and everyone who enables them has innocent blood staining their hands, and Her “being powerful” is causing her to step on the zaunites and crush them beneath her heel; using them as stepping stones her her power and influence in pilt over.

She has an increasingly violent distain and outright disgust, for the people of the undercity. She calls them animals, she immediately threatens and almost shoot Heemlot (the guy they rescued from the grey) despite him having information. She doesn’t care about the possibility of hurting a child, she almost shoots Vi, and when Vi pushes back even a little bit Caitlyn claims Vi is no different from the people in the undercity (she frames this as a terrible thing, an insult; despite Vi being from the undercity) and hits her before leaving her to rot. Not to mention the entire police brutality montage.
Yes, Caitlyn is traumatized and has been through a lot, but my question to Caitlyn defenders is this: How many little girls in Zaun have had their mothers killed as a direct result of Caitlyn’s tyranny? How many people have lost their loved ones, all while have to get up and struggle for a bite of food? How many Zaunites have been so hurt and decided not to kill Pilties on-mass like Caitlyn did? she has struggled, but struggle does not turn people into fascists, power and privilege do.

I’m not saying I hate her character, I love her writing, and she’s not all bad-because nobody is all bad, but the narrative (and common sense) clearly frames her actions as one’s not to support. She will get her redemption arc, I’m sure of it; but in the meanwhile, do not stand by and support your cancelled wife and her actions, guys. Your cancelled wife is busy being arcane hitler 😭

Arcane 2 Indepth First Thoughts.
Ok Arcane season two is great and amazing and I have no problems with it… aside from two small itty-bitty really fucking important things.
Vi and Viktor’s characters.
Spoilers for episode 2-3
I’m still getting my thoughts together after the episodes.
Their great really good and I did love mostly absolutely everything in them all, the rest of the characters from Jinx and her suicide mission, Jayce and his looses everything era, to Ambessa (the black rose damn) to even Caitlyn’s fascist arc just chefs kiss!
But Vi and Viktor...
Viktor mostly because he and Jayce have a five-minute conversation and then split. I would have liked, I don’t know, more talking. They literally called each other brothers? More emotions from Viktor, maybe, or at least make his lack of emotion apart of the plot. Like, why not have Viktor come back to life with Jayce not there, see himself, find Jayce’s weapon designs, get pissed, they have the convo and then he peaces out? Maybe the obvious hex-core Sky could call to him—something other than monotone, "Yeah, we were never friends. We should split. Bye." Like, what part of any of that was satisfying or a good lead-up to Jayce building hex-tech weapons and not destroying the hex-core, despite Viktor begging him to—making him promise?
I would have even taken "this isn’t Viktor, this is the hex-core puppeting his body," or just something other than "robot magic plot jesus,” he barely questions what he is, leaves his relationship of ten years with a man he sees as his brother (or something more), and then starts a cult. They dropped the ball. I’ll watch it again, but it wasn’t good, it wasn’t well-written, it was rushed, and they could have done better.
Now on to Vi. I feel like her hatred of Jinx is rushed a bit. I feel like we should have had more of her questioning whether or not she could kill Jinx, hesitating in their fight more—maybe some flashbacks, just something. Especially with that time stuff going on with the hex-tech gear. It felt too rushed, I don’t know. Also, her new relationship with that guy who says absolutely nothing—what the fuck was that about? The other Piltover police had more personality than him. What is he? Why does he exist? It’s like they needed someone to move the plot and Vi around, and it just wasn’t good writing. I don’t even know his name?
Anyways here are my issues like them don’t like them I’ve finished the episodes and will think over them some more later.

Ok with act two released I think we can say people overreacted so much to Caitlyn's "turn" omg. 😭 Everyone thought 2x03 was just the beginning of her villain era when in reality it was her rock bottom already and it was only up for there oaijsoaijs. She's not even half as fascist as people seemed to be expecting.
