Something I think perhaps goes unnoticed is that, when Rio says "Don’t you recognize me, Lilia?", that’s not Rio speaking, it’s Death.

Remember Lilia saying she saw her whole Coven's death, that she eventually ignored and pushed her powers away because "all she saw was death"?

She’s not asking "Don’t you recognize me, Rio, the woman who's been walking on the road with you" (not even to "reveal herself" imo), she's asking "Don’t you recognize me, Death, the one you've seen many times before?".

And then she says "in the end, all roads lead to me" because despite Lilia trying to ignore her and not see her anymore, her life still led her towards it.
