OKAY OKAY COULD YOU PLEASE WRITE SMTH ABOUT SEVIKA PROTECING READER BECAUSE OF SOMETHING LIKE HERE ON THIS PIC SHE PROTECTS JINX AND ISHA??
im sorry if i wrote something wrong but english is not my first language😭🙏
OF COURSE !!!!!!! I have an idea for this...
I got a little carried away and gave you more LOL sorry
Sevika x Fem!Reader
She grabbed you before you could process the fan being turned on. Thankfully, you weren't too far from the table that protected you both, otherwise you would have been swept with the air flow violently.
Your side hurt. The shot Caitlyn took must have not only pierced your skin but the force broke your rib too. Whatever the gun was made of was strong enough to go through the stone pillar behind you partially as well.
Safe to say it hurt as fuck.
You clutched your side and winced as Sevika crouched with you in front of her, the stone table keeping you sat up, but barely. Sevika's new metal arm grabbed onto the table and kept her put, the other going to hold your side with you.
You weren't sure whether your adrenaline was keeping you lucid or if the shot wasn't truly that bad. Regardless, you didn't want to hang around much longer.
You looked up at your girlfriend, head slightly bouncing off the stone behind you as you rested it. She looked worried, and although nothing but pain was filling your sense, you found the energy to sigh and show her a small smile.
Her hair was flying around with the wind, her face showing slight worry and mostly focus as she tried to keep you both behind the table.
"You'll be fine." She mouthed, and you couldn't do much more but nod. You trusted her. You believed her...but the blood slowly seeping through the cracks of your fingers, and onto her hand covering yours, it was looking more like you were not going to be fine.
The wind seemed everlasting and the longer you sat there, waiting for it to stop, the dizzier you became.
You wanted to see Sevika's face for as long as you could. Taking in her scowl of concentration, the barely noticeable glint of nervousness in her eye when she met yours, the shiny scar across her cheek.
You thought she was leaning down to get out of the wind more, but instead she leaned down to your ear and spoke through the loud fan.
"Don't look at me like that." She spoke it as a command as her hand squeezed your bleeding side.
"Like what?" You scoffed quietly, immediately feeling the burn in your rib.
"Like you're about to say goodbye. You're fine."
You hummed and looked back up at her when she pulled away, leaving no room for discussion.
She was so gorgeous, holding you, protecting you, as if you were about to disappear any minute.
Your head spun so much you didn't even notice the fan turn off. Sevika lifted you off the ground and instructed Jinx, who was also carrying a girl, where to go. It all came out as muffled to you though, as the blood loss slowly stared winning, and you passed out.
When you woke up, the first thing you saw was two heads looking down at you. Jinx's braids tickled your nose, while the other girls hair wasn't even long enough to reach her eyebrows. You groaned, immediately going in to hold your side as a reflex to find it bandaged.
"I told you to let her rest." Sevika's voice rung out in a disappointed tone as she walked in with a bunch of fresh bandages in her hand. Presumably for you.
You were in Silco's office, laid down on his sofa. The table was covered with medical supplies, alcohol bottles and jinx's crafts, but your eyes ended up laying upon Sevika. Her worried expression had you worried.
"How are you feeling?" Sevika asked, looking down at you as she put the obnoxious amount of wraps on the table.
"Trust you to get shot." Jinx scoffed playfully as she stared down at you, knowing damn well that bullet was meant for her. "Took it like a champ though!"
You chuckled back and attempted to sit up, but Sevika was faster and pushed you back down, shaking her head.
"I'm fine." You spoke, but Sevika wouldn't relent. She kept you laying down as she changed your bandages carefully. Your eyes fell from Sevika onto the little girl who was still staring down at you. "Who would have thought Jinx took in a stray. What's your name?"
"Her name is Isha. She's sticking around." Jinx replied matter-of-factly, a small smirk on her face as she said it. It made you giggle a bit.
"Alright, out." Sevika stood up from crouching beside you as she finished your bandages. Jinx took Isha and left, excited to show her some of her trinkets to get her mind off of...recent events. "She needs to rest."
"I'm alright." You spoke, reaching out for Sevika's hand to help you up. "How bad was it?"
"Bad enough to have me worried." She sighed, sitting beside you and letting you lean on her.
"Sorry." You sighed back, almost identically. "And you know, thank you."
She wrapped her hand around your shoulders and kissed the top of your head.
"Anytime."

𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓 .ᐟ
synopsis: college au texts (& small hcs) with the girls + tropes<3
characters: jinx, vi, caitlyn, sevika
notes: SHE'S BACKKKKK!!! sorry for being gone for so long #igotintoleagueoflegends(thegame.), regular posting will be back !! other than that, sevikas part was my fave bless.
vi. + fake dating (also biker! vi)
- how this whole fake dating thing started was through a hook up actually!!
- both of you got shitfaced & you two were already friends, so after vi saw Maddie with caitlyn she was like "nah fuck it I'm gonna get her back!!" (classic, sigh.)
- this is random, but she's actually a really good cook (in my head) and she's probably made some fire meals 4 you
- for some reason.. she gives me xxxtentacion listener like she loves "I don't even speak Spanish lol" in this au but when she's emo over cait, bring out the sad! and shit like that 😭
- her ass would be on the ground staring at the ceiling, sad! blasting, and her roommate would be like SHUT THAT SHIT DOWN!!!!!
- avid marvel rivals player, loves luna snow no questions.
- don't ask why she texts like that she js does 😔
- she goes "this is for you" before scoring in a game and trips while running and falls on her face instead😭
- she is nawt NAWT!! a womanizer(?) fuckgirl(is that the female equivalent?????) idgaf what ppl say, sure she flirts occasionally but she's super loyal if she's in a rs, she's an awesome gf !!! we love vi in this household!!!!
jinx. + childhood bsfs 2 lovers
- matching pfps & bios on tiktok and insta I'm telling u. it'd be smth like "sniper, sniper, sniper" then "wifey, wifey, wifey"
- random hc cs yay, vi probably accidentally killed her pet hamster when they were kids and you had to comfort her cs her ass was crying for HOURRSSSS. there was a funeral for it with a tiny casket. (it died cs of the microwave beeping when vi's instant noodles were done)
- one of those ppl who gets high grades without trying, don't ask her grade unless you wanna feel hurt cs she js says "98" while being hungover.
- her music taste is so all over the place but I'm so certain she sticks to loud music!! she gets sleepy if it's calm😭
- engineering major no doubt abt it
- doesn't know how to cook but not cs she can't, it's bcs she doesn't want to
- she probably asked you out in a cutesy way like imagine after ur bday you're watching the stars tg and she's like staring at you w hearts in her eyes and she js says "I love you" and you're like "awww I love you too!!" cs ur bsfs, but she then repeats it "no like I LOVE you" and ur like woah.. then u start to makeout or whatever w stars in the bg, end scene!!
- genuinely the best gift giver ever, everything's homemade and made w love 🙏 i lauv her sm😔😔
caitlyn. + academic rivals (+ forced proximity)
first pic isn't rlly connected to the rest, js to show their rs
- after the project you two actually got alot closer, you could even say FRIENDS 🤯, there is still competition but it isn't like as bad as before, it's more so "Haha, I got higher." "wtvvv 🙄 I'll buy u ice cream 😔"
- sevika was the prof btw, she wanted to fuck with u guys 🙏
- archer cait. that's all I gotta say. (also equestrian u can't tell me other wise)
- HEAR ME OUT! imagine she invites you to her archery training & during it ur like, "Can I try?" she says alright and then when you're holding the bow she goes behind you and starts fixing how ur holding it, then she wraps a hand around ur waist and brushes it off as "oh your posture was incorrect" when she lets go.
- moving on, I imagine her having a doll collection like don't ask why but she collects monster high dolls. (please ask her about every single doll, she'll proudly infodump)
- when u get closer to her she's alot less formal, its very cutie of her !!!
- has a fitness tiktok account and she drinks apple cider vinegar daily (NASTYYYY IDGAF IF ITS HEALTHY!!!!).
- modern au cait is like a cat in my head, idk she's js so cutie in it please give her love that's it😔
sevika. + grumpy x sunshine (professor! sevika)
- her students try to tease her when she smiles at your notes, she shuts them down so fast it's scary. her expression goes from 😊 to 🤨, then they stfu and go to their seat.
- only person who teases her and gets away with it is jinx I fear.
- you and sevika have a nightly routine of dancing together (she's so soft w u don't play w me.) her fave song to play is love by Keyshia Cole (ARGUFJWHFIWJ 😭😭😭😭😭)
- regular gym goer, she has an insta she barely posts on besides the occasional video of her hitting a new record while her students comment "omg MISS SEVIKA!!!!!" then she blocks them when she sees the notif.
- doesn't trust anyone to cut her hair besides you cs apparently you js do it better, her words, not mine! 🤷♀️
- one of those, mean to everyone besides you, types (minus isha and jinx cs those r FAM!)
- loves reading idk I js get that vibe from her, after a long day, she opens her kindle (that she got from you as a bday gift) and relaxes.
- first time her students saw you, they glanced at both of you like a million times before it registered you were together, cs how'd she end up with such a sweet cutie!!
- they ask her a billion questions and she's like "I don't talk about my personal life, end of story."
- she's trying to quit smoking for u trust 😞 it's js hard but she's getting there!!
- she loves u so dearly please never let go of her.😔😔
sevikas part was too long I'm sorry 😭 ...there were gonna be a couple NSFW hcs for her but 5 minutes after I wrote them I got food poisoning so I was like "I'll die if I post them."😔😔 anws hope u liked these

Omg I love the domestic caitvi and their kid😭
How about one where cait or vi was so stressed and tired from work or something and reader just wanted to play but instead cait or vi accidentally lashed out on her and she ran out of the room to her bedroom and started crying and started to think that maybe her mom doesn’t love her anymore or something, in the end cait or vi apologize to reader, they made up and cuddle or play together
SOFT APOLOGIES
Caitlyn x Vi x kid f!reader
Synopsis: Being Vi and Caitlyn’s little kid had some difficulties, especially when Caitlyn was already tired with work, while you were a little bundle of energy wanting attention. Sometimes leading to some needed apologies.
Request: Anon 🤍
A/N: Part two of Motherly Love.
The sun had barely dipped below the horizon, painting the house in soft, dusky light. Dinner had been eaten, dishes half-done, and the usual hum of warmth filled the home. But something was different tonight. The weight of the day had settled heavily on Caitlyn’s shoulders, her normally pristine posture sagging ever so slightly as she worked through a pile of paperwork at the kitchen table. Her brow was furrowed, her movements sharp, a quiet tension radiating from her.
Vi wasn’t home yet, stuck with her own share of responsibilities. That left you, five years old and bursting with energy, darting around the living room with Bunny in one hand and a superhero cape tied around your neck.
You didn’t notice Caitlyn’s tight jaw or the way her sighs grew heavier each time her pen scratched across the paper. You only saw your mommy—your kind, brilliant mommy who could do anything—and you wanted her attention.
“Mommy!” you called, skipping into the kitchen. Bunny bounced against your side, his floppy ears trailing behind you. “Mommy, look! I’m a superhero!”
Caitlyn didn’t look up. “That’s wonderful, darling,” she said absently, her tone clipped.
Undeterred, you twirled in place, your cape fluttering behind you. “Mommy, did you see? Did you see how fast I can go?”
Another sharp sigh escaped her lips. She set her pen down, finally glancing at you. Her smile was thin and tired. “I see, sweetheart. But I’m very busy right now. Why don’t you play in the living room for a while?”
“But I want to play with you,” you insisted, bouncing on your toes. Bunny jostled in your hand as you held him up toward her. “Bunny wants to play too! Please, Mommy?”
Caitlyn’s patience, already stretched thin, snapped.
“For the love of—darling, not now!” she said sharply, her voice louder than you’d ever heard it. “I have so much to do, and I can’t focus with you underfoot! Just go to your room for a little while!”
Her words hit you like a gust of cold wind. Your small frame stilled, your wide eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Bunny dangled limply in your grip.
“Go on,” Caitlyn said, her tone softer but still firm. “Please, darling. I just need some quiet.”
Without another word, you turned and ran. Bunny’s ears trailed behind you as you bolted down the hallway, your small feet thumping against the floor. Caitlyn called your name only a minute after you ran, but you didn’t stop.
In your room, you curled up on your bed, Bunny clutched tightly to your chest. The superhero cape now felt silly, like it didn’t belong to you anymore. You buried your face against Bunny’s soft fur, the first sob breaking free as your mind spun with unfamiliar and frightening thoughts.
Mommy’s mad at me.
She doesn’t love me anymore.
Maybe I’m too annoying, maybe she wishes I wasn’t here.
The tears came faster, soaking Bunny’s fur as you squeezed him tighter, your chest heaving with hiccupping breaths.
Back in the kitchen, Caitlyn sat frozen, her head in her hands. The echo of her raised voice played on a loop in her mind, each repetition sharper than the last.
She sighed deeply, rubbing her temples as guilt clawed at her chest. What was I thinking, snapping at her like that?
Vi walked through the door moments later, her boots clunking softly against the floor. She took one look at Caitlyn’s face and frowned. “Hey, cupcake. You alright?”
Caitlyn shook her head, her eyes tired and full of regret. “I-I snapped at her, Vi. She wanted to play, and I just, I yelled. She ran off crying, and now—” Her voice wavered.
Vi’s face softened. “Hey, hey. We all have rough days. But you know what you gotta do, right?”
Caitlyn nodded, already standing. “I need to fix this.”
Your sniffles had quieted, though tears still clung to your lashes when Caitlyn pushed open your bedroom door. She found you curled up on the bed, your little body trembling slightly as you hugged Bunny close. The sight made her heart ache.
“Darling?” she said softly, kneeling beside your bed.
You peeked at her through red-rimmed eyes, your lip trembling.
“Oh, sweetheart,” Caitlyn whispered, reaching out to gently touch your shoulder. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to shout. I had a hard day, but that’s no excuse for being unkind to you.”
You sniffled, your voice small. “You don’t love me anymore?”
Caitlyn’s heart shattered. She scooped you into her arms, holding you close as tears filled her own eyes. “Oh, no, my darling. Never. I love you more than anything in the world. You are my sunshine, my heart, my everything.”
Your tiny hands clung to her shirt as you buried your face in her neck. “Really?”
“Really,” she promised, her voice firm and full of love. “I’m so sorry for making you feel otherwise.”
Vi appeared in the doorway, her usual grin softened into something warm and comforting. “Hey, squirt,” she said, stepping inside. “You okay?”
You nodded slowly, still snuggled against Caitlyn.
“Good,” Vi said, ruffling your hair gently. “Wanna know a secret? Your mommy’s a superhero too. She just had a tough mission today.”
You pulled back slightly, looking up at Caitlyn with wide eyes. “Really?”
Caitlyn smiled, wiping a tear from your cheek. “Really. But the only thing I want to do now is spend time with my favorite hero. What do you say? Forgive me?”
Your bottom lip wobbled again, but this time it was followed by a small, teary smile. “Okay, Mommy. I forgive you.”
The three of you ended up back in the living room, the paperwork forgotten. Caitlyn and Vi worked together to build you a brand-new superhero cape out of an old scarf, complete with Bunny-sized accessories so he could join in your adventures.
When bedtime finally rolled around, you were nestled between them on the couch, Bunny tucked safely under your arm. Caitlyn smoothed down your hair while Vi traced gentle circles on your back.
“Love you, Mommy,” you murmured sleepily.
“Love you, too, darling,” Caitlyn whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“Love you, squirt,” Vi added, her voice soft and warm.
And in the safety of their arms, you drifted off to sleep, knowing without a doubt that their love was as strong as ever.
A love that stayed, no matter what.
A/N: yes, this part also had another falling asleep ending, but only because I wanted to tie the last line with the title.

Hii, I LOVE UR FICS!! 🫶🫶🫶 so i was wondering what would caitvi do when their S/O was on their period 🤔🤔 (idk if this is PG-13 😭)
Love, anon
Hi! Yes, this is perfectly PG-13. Thanks for requesting!
Shark Week | CaitVi x Reader
╰┈➤ PLOT: Headcanons of CaitVi with a S/O on their period!
╰┈➤ WARNINGS: No Y/n, Not Proofread, No Spoilers(S2)
⍣ ೋ Enjoy!⍣ ೋ
– Caitlyn and Vi are understanding when their partner is on their period. The pair gets them too so they know how excruciating periods can be emotionally and physically.
– If you're the person who gets cramps really badly to the point where it makes you nauseated or cry, they're always there to provide for you.
– They give you medicine, home remedies, heating pads, and tons of cuddles if you want them. One of them always has a hand on your abdomen when you cuddle. They think it's comforting to have their hand there and honestly, the touch from them and the warmth from their hand is so you never told them to pull away.
– (Unless you were in so much pain that you didn't want to be touched).
– Vi and Caitlyn get you whatever snack you need when you're on your period.
– Let's say you're a huge fan of chocolate, on and off your period, so the girls get you a small basket of all the chocolate they could find or your favorite just because they know it soothes you.
– Maybe you like spicy food instead on your period. Caitlyn finds that a bit strange since spicy foods typically make cramps worse... but they get you spicy food anyway.
– If you're the type of person who gets really emotional on their period, Vi and Caitlyn understand and try not to rock the boat too much or lend an understanding ear.
– Maybe a commercial with a puppy in it made you burst into tears or maybe the kitchen cabinet didn't close the right way so you exploded into a rage and cussed the cabinet out. Either way, they don't judge and always try to talk you down from your rage or ease you when you're crying.
– Of course, the two of them look at each other in a mix of fear and concern when you get ridiculously angry over inanimate objects, but they keep their comments to themselves. (Or at least wait till you aren't in the room to talk about it).
– When you three are out and about or working and your period comes unexpectedly, somehow, they're always prepared.
– Caitlyn never leaves the house without some period products on her. One time a cute girl needed a pad the day Caitlyn didn't have one in her bag and she's regretted it ever since. So in addition to pads, she keeps tampons and liners in her bag too.
– If you're the one to use a cup, she'll only have a brand-new one still packaged in her bag but only when you guys aren't home for days at a time. Otherwise, you gotta deal with the pads and tampons.
– If you're out and you bleed through, Vi is the first to see (if you don't spot it first) and will guide you to a different room to change. The girl will literally give you the pants off her legs to help you out. She doesn't care.
– Obviously, she can't walk around in public with no pants on, no matter how much you and Caitlyn loved her legs, so you would decide on using her jacket as a coverup instead.
– Around shopping centers or stores, they won't hesitate to buy you a new pair of underwear, pants, and more period products when you bleed through.
– If you're at their workplace, they already have a few extra pair of clothes because sometimes, they bleed through too
– And if you're at home, they'll just tell you kindly if you didn't spot it first.
– If your period stained the sheets, hey it happens sometimes, they'll clean the sheets without a problem.
– Honestly, CaitVi are really understanding about periods and won't ever judge. (Unless you're being a little mean to the sink faucet because it's not getting hot quick enough).
– Another thing they like to do with you is cuddle up with your favorite snacks and what whatever movies you want to see. If you have no movies in mind, then you three would find movies that sound interesting.
– You always fall asleep first if the pain isn't too much to bear. You couldn't help it.
– You were warm, fed, well cared for, and cuddled in the comfort of your bed surrounded by your girlfriends who would do anything to make sure you're happy.

Hello There !! Could i request x reader like that one you wrote with vi where she overstimulates reader but with caitlyn instead of Vi?? 🫣
Caitlyn x reader
- I don't why I really enjoyed writing this lol.😭
- it's also kind of short.
- ⚠️ : afab reader, overstimulation, the end might not be very religious safe, praise, also kinda edging?
It wasn't unusual for Caitlyn to be ruthless during sex and at the same time the most caring person in the universe (lies kinda)
You would wince slightly everytime one of her — God damn finger nails which you didn't know which side it was from, right or left, hit your insides in a harsh manner.
It would make you sort of more turned on but honestly more whiney and that was the key to make her even more hornier and crazier over you. You were also becoming tired.
How long had this been going on? You were lost in time. You lost the count of how many times she had pumped her fingers inside and out of you. You lost the count of how many times she had pressed on your lower abdomen on purpose when you were near to make you beg for even more.
"P-Please I just can't take it anymore.." She simply just smirked at you before moving her lips near your ear and whispering, "Safe word?"
Did you want her to stop? No absolutely not, so you simply shook your head to her question.
How was Someone so obsessed with the idea of making you shake over and over again. You were starting to get an stomachache at this point. Her long fingers did not help. At this point you were so desperate you would guide her at the same time she literally dominates you.
But all the "bad stuff" you wanted more went away, it went away the second she started praising you next to your ear. All the "pain" and "begging for release" went away when her hand pushed some of your sweaty hair out of your face in the most gentle way. All the "I can't take it anymore" went away.
You were becoming close again and all that would come out of your mouth was the word "God" and "God" all over again.
"The lord isn't the one who is gonna make you cum. Chant my name instead."

imagine if one of readers friends had a sibling and treated the friends sibling more like a sibling than any of the batfam ?? how would they react
it could be adriens twin brother felix wink wink nudge nudge
-🍰
NOT FELIX. i’ll be using Caitlyn’s older brother (from chapter 4) as the example ☺️
imagine reader in her petty era trying to avoid all conversations/confrontations with the batfam (especially dick—idk why im bullying him at this point—who’s trying to reach out to you and bridge the gap between you two that seemed to have grown bigger due to a particular incident(s) that happened will be explained more in depth in chapter 5 )
like imagine:
Dick: (calling out to you after spotting you along the hallways of Wayne Manor) Hey, (Name)! Do you want to—
regressed!reader: (cutting him off, speedwalking past) Sorry, can’t talk. I’m late to meet up with Caitlyn and our brother.
Dick: (blinking, turning to follow your retreating figure) Our brother? Wait, what? Who—?
regressed!reader: (already out the door)
Dick: (to himself, utterly perplexed) ‘Our’ brother?? What is going on?
regressed!reader: (stretching, checking the time) Wow, it’s late. I should head back before Alfie nags at me for staying out.
Jason: (shrugging, reaching for his keys) Yeah, I’m not letting you walk back to the manor at this hour. I’ll give you a—
regressed!reader: (cutting him off, excitedly) Oh, great! My bro’s here to pick me up! See you never, hopefully!
Jason: (stunned) Wait, what? Your—? (watches you jog up to some random guy on a motorcycle, who hands you a helmet before the two of you ride off.)
Jason: (to himself, bewildered) Who the hell… Did the old man adopt another kid again?
Tim: (walking up, holding some tools) Hey, I remembered you needed help fixing a gadget of yours, so—
regressed!reader: (cutting him off, smirking) I got it. My bro helped me fix it up.
Tim: (pausing) …Dick?
regressed!reader: No.
Tim: (frowning) Jason?
regressed!reader: Pfft, no.
Tim: Damian??
regressed!reader: Seriously?
Tim: (utterly flabbergasted) “What other brothers do we even have??”
regressed!reader: (walking off with the smuggest grin imaginable, answering a phone call) Hey, bro! Yeah, thanks for helping me fix that gadget of mine!

Let’s talk about THAT CaitVi scene and the fandom’s response to it
All cards out on the table, I used to adore CaitVi. I was there in the trenches reading the fanfics, watching the shipping videos, even going on fucking dynasty scans for the fanart + doujinshis😭 (iykyk). I loved CaitVi down bad, and of all the things I was most excited for in S2, this ship becoming canon was near the top of the list. I say this to say I don’t come from a place of apathy or hatred when it comes to this ship, but just genuine disappointment and disgust for how it was mishandled in season 2. Particularly when it comes to the abuse.
In preparation of this rant, I did my homework to fully understand both sides. I watched this video:
youtube
Which explains Cait’s behavior and even addresses her physical abuse. And, as much as it pains me to say this, I looked through the CaitVi tag on tumblr and read as many posts as I could defending Caitlyn and CaitVi as a ship.
Before I begin, I think it would be fair to lay out the main defense before tearing into these people. So let’s talk about Cait:
The main thesis of “Stop Me Oh’s” video and many other CaitVi shippers is that Caitlyn is someone who doesnt like to communicate her feelings and thinks actions speak louder than words. By helping Vi without hesitation during Act 2 and putting aside her grief to allow Vi a chance to talk to Jinx, someone who murdered her mother, Cait is already showing immense remorse. She’s taking steps to make amends for her actions and proving that her love and trust in Vi outweighs her desire to get revenge. She doesn’t need to actually utter a single apology when she’s done more than enough to make up for her misgivings.
And excusing the whole fascist thing, ALL she did was hit Vi. She didn’t kill the poor thing like Jayce and they weren’t fighting to death like Ekko and Jinx:
And, let’s be honest, wouldn’t you do the same? Put yourself Cait’s shoes. Imagine your family was blown up by your partner’s crazy lunatic sister. You watched her turn your world upside down. And while your partner is fully supportive of hunting down your mother’s murderer, she suddenly switches up when it’s time to actually go through with it. She’s stopping you from shooting this deranged killer all because you MIGHT shoot some annoying child. And then you miss the best chance you’ll ever get to take down this terrorist and your partner comes crawling back to you, talking about how you’re just like that murderer. Then, in the heat of the moment, you hit her with the butt of your gun. You hit her and you abandon her in a hole while she cries on the ground. It’s harsh, but doesn’t she deserve it?
Don’t you see? Cait is a poor rich girl who lost her mother. Unlike these other murderers and thugs, all she did was hit Vi during a moment of passion and would never, ever, ever, ever, do it again. Vi should be grateful Cait even let her see her only family, she could’ve just fucking killed the bitch.
Okay. Jokes asides, let’s just address each of these points one by one.
1. Cait already apologized through her actions
This is the most common defense I see for Cait, and it’ll be the lengthiest one too.
So my question is: For what?
Ignoring the fact that verbally apologizing IS an action, how does Cait deciding not to pursue Jinx and allowing Vi to see her only family correlate to her making amends for the physical abuse? At the very least , I can see Cait siding against Ambessa and admitting she fell for propaganda as “apologizing” for her turning to fascism. I guess. But what is Cait atoning for exactly when she helps out Vi? I’ll try to explain what I think it is:
When Cait says Vi has Jinx’s blood, shoves her gun into her stomach, and leaves her in a ditch, that represents her no longer trusting Vi. Cait thinks she’ll choose Jinx over her. So later, when Cait sides with Vi and allows her to see Jinx, it’s shows that she’s willing to trust Vi again and her judgement of character. Which Vi understands. When we think about it this way, Cait hitting Vi isn’t read as “physical abuse” by the narrative because the physical act of violence isn’t the issue the writers are trying to portray. No, the issue is Cait no longer trusting Vi. Physical abuse was just used as a vehicle to convey Cait’s distrust of Vi, who she now sees as a stranger/enemy….for like, an episode or two, then switches up lol.
But my point in saying all of this is, Cait isn’t really “apologizing through her actions” about the physical abuse. In fact, that was never even a consideration. And no, we’re not going to brush it off by saying “well shouldn’t this count for Cait hitting Vi too”. If we’re to take physical abuse seriously, and WE ARE you freaks, this is an offense that Cait needs to address separately. Properly.
Imagine if someone punched you in the face then stole your cookies. They never apologize to you for anything, but over the following days, they buy you cookies, maybe even some milk. Do you think these actions are enough of an “apology” for punching you in the fucking face? If they are then you need some serious help.
Ah, and contrary to the popular belief that Cait doesn’t need to verbally apologize bc she shows her actions through words and yadda yadda yadda, Cait does, in fact, try to apologize in Jinx’s suicide cell. About fucking Maddie. Then she gets cut off. You would think Cait wouldn’t feel the need to apologize about Maddie since “aCtIonS sPeAk LoUdeR tHaN wOrDs” but I guess Cait picks and choose what she feels sorry about.
And I can already hear the counter argument. “It’s not about if I forgive Cait, but if Vi does since she’s the victim. Cait and Vi kiss and make up, and by the season’s end, they’re a couple. Therefore, Vi forgives Cait about everything.”
Putting aside the cycle of abuse, my question is: how does Vi feel about Cait hitting her? And vice versa. Since the fandom loves throwing “media literacy” around so much, let’s put that to the test. While the physical abuse is never brought up, hinted at, thought about, or addressed ever again (much like how the fandom treats it), that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about the implications.
If Vi doesn’t specifically mention the physical abuse, what does that mean for her character? Did Vi think she deserved it, or maybe she was just used to it, maybe she thought it was in the heat of the moment and Cait would never hurt her again (super toxic mindset btw), etc etc.
If Cait never mentions her physically abusing Vi, what does that mean for her character? Does she even care, does she think she was justified, did she think Vi could take it, why is Maddie the first thing she apologizes about and not hitting Vi and leaving her in a dank hole?
Because we could easily be getting into toxic/abusive territory, and when it comes to physical violence, there’s very little wiggle room for a more positive interpretation.
2. These characters aren’t perfect, they’re flawed
So this argument falls back on the “well pobody’s nerfect” defense and to that extent I agree. I think Cait is selfish and callous, but all the other characters who have similar flaws (think Silco, Marco, Ambessa, probably more) end up fucking dying and/or have actual narrative consequences. I’ve seen people argue that Cait losing her eye is a narrative consequence and IT IS for Cait’s alt right phase and choosing to follow Ambessa but it’s NOT for hitting Vi. Neither is Maddie betraying her. An appropriate narrative consequence would’ve been Vi leaving her ass, but I promise you the same people defending Cait would’ve had a thousand think pieces about how the writers sabotaged Cait’s character. Arcane is NOT a show about bad people getting away with bad things either.
3. Well Jayce killed Viktor / Ekko and Jinx tried to kill each other
So this argument acknowledges Cait’s abuse and her lack of apology but tries to deflect by claiming the other couples are violent, if not more. Even though this is a classic whataboutism, I’ll address it. I won’t acknowledge the timebomb side of the argument because it’s incredibly dumb, but for Jayvik, where do we begin? Recall that after Cait and Vi kissed, they were on romantic terms. That’s why Cait even bothers bringing up Maddie, and it’s really more so to let the viewer know Cait will excuse abuse but draws the line at infidelity. During Act 2, Jayce and Viktor are enemies and Viktor will literally kill everyone if he continues on his path. Jayce could have at least talked to Viktor first, but the writers chose to make him deranged or whatever so that was out of the question. And again, they’re enemies. Fighting isn’t off the table, even killing. If Viktor sucker punched Jayce while they were astral projecting together, then that might be analogous to Cait and Vi, but they don’t.
4. Not all relationships are perfect
This is one is similar to point two, but I’m taking a different angle. No, not all relationships are perfect, but I would never call physical abuse a “flaw” that’s to be expected in a normal, healthy relationship. Once you introduce violence, we call that abusive. I didn’t know we were in dire need of an abusive lesbian relationship, but I’ll walk with you.
If Arcane had the balls, CaitVi could’ve been portrayed as the toxic yuri couple it clearly is. They could’ve leaned into Vi being desperate enough to take Cait back and Cait not giving a single fuck about hitting Vi and leaving her. And if they did, this post wouldn’t exist. But they don’t. We’re genuinely supposed to like this slop and view it as a good thing because they kiss and play fun pop music while they fuck instead of the more appropriate “Poison” (by Bell Biv DeVoe ofc).
5. Well Jinx did XYZ to Vi
Another whataboutism. At risk of making this post longer than it already is, I’m gonna be brief. Yes, Jinx did awful things to Vi, but the narrative properly punishes Jinx for all of her actions (I mean the girl literally sacrifices herself) and wastes no time calling her out, especially Vi. Behind Cait, Vi is Jinx’s biggest hater. Literally chokes the girl out on sight. So let’s not pretend there’s some hypocrisy going on here, though it doesn’t escape me that many Cait fans end up being Jinx haters.
With that, I think I’ve covered all the major defenses for Caitvi’s physical abuse. All I can say is that the relationship is fucked and Vi deserves better.

i’ve responded to the pspspspsps and i have a request for caitlyn kiramman !! i think it’d be cute if the reader had more of alternative style in music! like girl pls who in piltover do u think is listening to korn and bring me? literally no one so i think it’d be funny if cait randomly just walks imto readers room and their listening to screamo or something 😭😭 totally okay if you don’t wanna do this but thank you if you do !! :))
It’s definitely—something..
🐝 ~ tysm for requesting!! I'm very eager to write, so as soon as I saw this request, I had an idea in mind. hence why I replied to your request so quickly lmaoo.
I personally listen to a lot of different music, so I tried to make this open to all kinds of alternative music! I don’t have much knowledge on just one genre, I hope you enjoy nonetheless!!<3
Fic includes: Caitlyn reacting to reader’s alternative music taste
Warnings: none
Genre: fluff
Characters: Caitlyn Kiramman
♡ ~ Fem!reader - wlw
Caitlyn would probably have the complete opposite taste in music than you.
~ Sitting on her soft, blue velvet couch is what she usually did in the mornings. All that could be heard is the quiet tap of her foot on the floor. Soft Pop, or even classical music playing from the record player. She flips to the next page of her book, only to hear something very foreign blast from upstairs.
~ She glanced towards the stairs a few times before eventually getting up from where she sat. Her steps are light as she makes her way up to the second floor, her head turning from right to left to figure out where this music is coming from.
~ Eventually she finally finds you, quietly peeking into the bathroom where you stood by the mirror doing your morning routine.
~ Caitlyn didn’t know what to think of the music, but what she did know is that she found it extremely cute how you would sing the lyrics. The sway of your body while you got ready for the day was endearing to watch.
~ An amused smile forms on her face, her lean frame leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed. Just simply admiring you. You didn’t seem to even notice her presence until you turned around to grab someth—
~ “Gah-! Cait- what the hell! You can’t just creep around like that..” You clutch your shirt a little as you spoke, a small smile gracing your face. Caitlyn chuckles, stepping into the bathroom fully to meet you at the sink.
~ “My apologies. I just couldn’t help myself; you’re cute when you sing.” Caitlyn spoke with a tender tone to her voice, her hand reaching up to gently brush a stray hair from your face. Your smile grew at her loving affection, but you rolled your eyes playfully nonetheless before turning back to the mirror above the sink.
~ Before you could go back to what you were doing, Caitlyn spoke again. “The.. music you’re listening to. It’s not from Piltover, is it?” Caitlyn had a genuine tone of curiosity as she questioned you. Wanting to learn more about your music taste, and what’s popular outside of Piltover. It’s not like she’s been much outside of the region.
~ “No, it’s not. What do you think of it?” Caitlyn thinks for a second, thinking about the question you just asked her. She gives you a small shrug while looking at you in the mirror.
~ “It’s definitely— something.. I’d like to learn more about it.” Her words make you smile. Not many Piltovians were fond of your taste in music, so it’s refreshing to have your girlfriend be so open to learn more about it.
~ You give Caitlyn an amused smirk. You’re definitely more than ready to blast your music around Caitlyn more often..~
~ Despite your differences, Caitlyn always makes an effort to show that she understands, and wants to learn more about you. Even if some things aren’t exactly anything she’s used to.
🐝 ~ Ty for reading!! If you’re new here, check out my intro and masterlist if you’re interested ^^ requests are open!

hey!! i saw how you were writing for steb on ur requests and i was wondering if you could write something along the lines of our quiet enforcer absolutely smitten with enforcer reader who is his polar opposite (loud and isn’t afraid to speak her mind). Hope to see more of him in Arcane cause i’m so in love with him ✋🏼😭
i hope that is ok and hope you’re faring well i really enjoy reading the head canons you post
Coming right up!
Steb X Polar Opposite Enforcer! Reader
Characters: Steb
Warning: None. SFW.
A/N: I'm not gonna lie, the lack of Steb, Madelyn and Loris is making this girl see red. As a fan though, I'll satiate our thirst for the fishman, the ginger and the big ox.
When Steb first met you, he had to admit. He thought you were kind of annoying.
He had never met someone who was so outspoken about. Well. Everything.
Of course he was used to the cheerful open mind of Maddie and the loud stubbornness of Violet, but you? Boy, you were different.
Not negatively stubborn, thank the gods, but you were a ball of energy he just couldn’t find himself grasping upon.
Of course he worked with you and kept cordial, even when you tried to speak to him.
But deep down it was becoming a problem so large he would discuss with Caitlyn about switching shifts or embarking on missions without your presence.
Steb couldn’t stand you at first… But that’s the thing about time. It has a way of changing people.
With time and missions where the both of you had to work together alone, the fishman found himself tolerating you.
Actually. It was more than toleration. He actually. Liked you.
Instead of moments where he was alone being perceived as the truest form of inner peace, he would find himself pondering on what you were doing.
‘Where was she right now? How was she doing? Was she being her curious usual self?’
Those thoughts and more began to swarm around his brain like an emotional hurricane that only grew the more moments passed without you.
Steb had fallen in love before. Multiple times. But not like this.
He confided in his crewmates to assist him with his emotions and they all said the same thing;
“Tell her how you feel.” “Go for it, Steb!” “She’ll love you back, I’m sure of it!”
The man was filled with nervousness and anxiety, but the pep talk from his allies and friends were strong enough to finally confess.
So he did. And he didn’t know why he was so fearful to tell you because of course you loved him back! You loved him this whole time!
Now the two of you are one of the cutest couples on the force.
A fine pair of polar opposites that many would feel wouldn’t last a week, but were the light of the enforcers unit.
You of course still keep him on his toes with your open antics.
Meanwhile, he teaches you value in the calm and peaceful moments of life.
No one’s ever seen Steb happier around the headquarters, but they have you to thank for that.
He has you to thank for that. And he’ll cherish this feeling of happiness and yourself forever.
If you got any requests for Arcane, send them my way!
Likes and retweets are always appreciated! I love you all, stay hydrated and have a good day! <3

Hellfire
Warnings: S2 spoilers, angst, grief, references to death, reference to the Grey, implied cheating (cait cheating on reader with vi), references to Cait being controversial and reader being compliant
Pairing: Caitlyn Kiramman x fem! reader
Synopsis: Caitlyn returns after failing to kill Jinx.
Author’s note: Two alternative versions of this are in the works because I started rewatching and realised the martial law is instated basically right after Cait comes back 😭 and it’s also during the day - so one version will focus on the instating of the martial law and the other will focus more on the Grey and will see reader getting sick despite Cait’s best efforts.
It had been weeks since Caitlyn had slept in her own bed, weeks since she’d lain beside her girlfriend, weeks which should have born more fruit.
Two of three objectives had been met - Shimmer had been dismantled, and those still loyal to Silco had been neutralised, but it was not enough. Jinx was still out there, her laugh still hammering at Caitlyn’s mind - still waiting, daring, for it to be torn from her throat. That had been the Commander’s priority. She was returning a failure, in the opinions of none other than her own and Salo’s, and it was all Vi’s fault. All of it. How ironic it was this world in which Caitlyn had decided to trust someone like her, the world in which she’d recognised the danger of such and continued anyway. How unfair was it, that despite it being Vi’s fault, she desperately wanted to turn the clocks back, to return to tunnels and take back the words, the hit, she’d dealt Vi.
When she reached her front door, the sky was dark, the stars without their sparkle, but she did her best to swallow the thick lump in her throat, to ignore how lifeless and colourless her world felt, how Zaunite Piltover felt. She had to. For your sake. The last thing she wanted was to take it out on you like she’d taken it out on Vi. Sanitise. Sanitise herself, her uniform, anything she touched before showering, just like she’d sanitised the undercity of Shimmer - that was what needed priority for now. The weeks of exposure meant her uniform was stale with smog, and she didn’t want to take a single chance with either her own or her girlfriend’s health.
Cait was quiet as she pushed the door open, elegant even in exhaustion, gently shutting it behind her. She’d begun removing her gloves when she noticed you in the dim light. Fast asleep on a sofa, a thin blanket over you. Surely you hadn’t been sleeping in here ever since Cait had left. Her departure had been fairly quick, the strategising and execution of this mission beginning on the same day - the day of the attack on the memorial. Perhaps she hadn’t been able to quell your worries as much as she’d thought, as much as she’d hoped. You knew she planned to manipulate the flow of the Grey, she’d told you such, and whilst she had spared your imagination from the plethora of possible side effects stemming from exposure, it had not soothed your soul or heart. There was no need for details, everyone knew the Grey was dangerous - a taboo that topsiders had the luxury of ignoring while Zaunites choked - or so you’d thought, the revelation of the Kiramman ventilation system having been new information Caitlyn had had little time to dwell on when preparing. And so, you’d decided to sleep as comfortably close to the door as possible. Did that bring her home quicker? No. Did it bring her home safe? No. But it soothed you the slightest bit, knowing you would know the second she returned.
Caitlyn sighed softly as she approached, all she could manage to croak out was a weary, “Hey…” You stirred, murmuring softly, your eyes slowly opening a moment later. It took a couple additional seconds for your bleary eyes to focus on her, “Cait?… Cait!” You sat up, feet swinging down to the floor to stand, embrace her and welcome her home but, she held a hand up; she’d already maintained a distance of several paces. “Don’t come any closer. Please,” she said softly; her eyes, obviously tired even in the faint light, caught your confused gaze. “You can’t touch me yet. Not until I’ve showered and changed.” Your mouth had barely opened enough to attempt speech when she added, “It’s okay,” slipping her other glove off, “it’s just a just a precaution, don’t worry.” Her gaze dropped to the gloves in her hands, the fog of exhaustion stumping her a second. Straight to wash, not on the coffee table. Another soft sigh escaped her as she returned her gaze to you, the thoughts she’d been searching for having caught up. “You should go lay down, I won’t be long I promise.” “Cait-” you began. “Please.” Her voice teetered close to a plead. The last thing she wanted was for you to get sick and, in all honesty, she was not as certain as she’d have liked to be that she’d left her anger on the doorstep. Some time to decompress alone would only help. You considered debating, even just slightly, but you stopped yourself. You were tired and the most strenuous thing you had done that day, for the past weeks actually, was attempt to stay up as late as possible in hopes of not missing Caitlyn arriving - of not simply waking up in bed the next morning besides her, having been carried there by her. You wanted to help her, pamper her as she deserved. If you had felt so worn out by that, Caitlyn must have felt shattered. She didn’t deserve any irritant, no matter how innocent the intent behind it might be, so you simply nodded and offered a small smile, “… Okay.” Cait returned the smile, appreciative of your understanding. “I’ll be as quick as I can.” She reiterated softly, watching you begin to head up the stairs, before she took off her shoes.
It took a while for Caitlyn to enter her bedroom, there could be not doubt she’d been thorough. Upon her entrance however, it took little time for her to change and slide beneath the covers you held back for her - the desperation for rest being the predominant driving force. She pulled you close, the tops of your foreheads meeting delicately as a deep, shaky sigh fell from her lips. You hesitated, unsure if now was the best time to ask - on one hand, Cait was exhausted and the subject was touchy, but on the other, perhaps talking would help her have a more restful sleep. “… How’d it go?” The beautiful blue your eyes had only just grown accustomed to in the dark disappeared as her lids fell, a deep inhale had accompanied. One beat of silence followed another, you didn’t think she would respond and you had already decided not to push her. “We accomplished most of our objectives.” She began, “I… I found Jinx.” You tucked some of her hair behind her ear, noting the slight crease forming between her brows, it was still slightly damp. “… Yeah?” “I had her right there.” She continued quietly, “I could’ve… I had the shot… but…” Cait’s breath became marginally agitated, the lingering pads of your fingers on the tucked hair soothing her somewhat, in tandem with your presence, your forehead against hers. She inhaled once more, focusing on those connection points, on your scent, hoping to be grounded, to work through the anger, frustration, disappointment, bitterness and hurt enough that she wouldn’t lash out, that she wouldn’t poison you too. After a minute or two, she had. “Vi stopped me.” As you’d waited for her to find her words, your fingers had mindlessly begun a rhythmic brushing back of the hair you’d pushed behind her ear; the hair wasn’t loose but it felt right, soothing. That revelation, however, had prompted a pause in those ministrations. “… Stopped you?” “… There was… someone else… she didn’t think it was worth the risk… but I had the shot, I wouldn’t have missed. I know it.” A silence settled, the memory - the emotion of that moment, the anger, the betrayal on both sides, the hint of regret - still potent in Caitlyn’s mind as you had found yourself at a loss for words. It wouldn’t make sense for this other person to be anything other than… “A civilian?” Cait withdrew her forehead, a soft rustling accompanying her shift against the silk pillowcases, “… Yes.” You didn’t need to know the entire truth. She couldn’t bear another tone or look of distaste, she wouldn’t accept it. She was an excellent shot, there was no risk of collateral and so the nature of that ‘potential’ collateral was irrelevant. It was simple. “… It’s alright, Cait.” You tried to soothe, partially bringing her from a spiral. Her nostrils flared, unnoticed in the dark, as her arms tensed around you. The slight dampness of her hair cooled your neck, her face having come to nestle in the crook of your neck. She’d been so close and it was clearly tormenting her. “Hey, hey…” you whispered, trying to coax her out. After an initial resistance, she complied albeit reluctantly, the anguish in her eyes clear the second they were visible again. The pads of your thumbs brushed against her cheekbones, drawing your attention to the beginnings of a couple bruises. It was to be expected considering Caitlyn’s line of work and you’d learnt to be somewhat grateful for them - grateful that she’d suffered no worse, at least physically. “You’ll have another chance.” You reminded her as she closed her eyes again, even the touch of the woman she loved most doing little to soothe the fire swirling within. “But it was the perfect chance.” Cait insisted quietly, her voice somewhat hoarse from exhaustion and the effort of staving off a lashing out.
There was no lighting the mood when Cait was in this state, you knew that normally. It was foolish to try but you were tired, the typical tiers of consideration hazy and the attempt migrated from the mist in your mind like miasma, “… If at first you don’t succeed, hm?” Her exhale was heavy and long, caught in her throat - a restrained expression of the anger you had piqued. You didn’t understand what she’d been through, what she was feeling, what she wanted. You couldn’t. Regardless of how many ways she phrased it, how many times she repeated it, the understanding she seeked could only exist in an alumni of similar grief. “Sorry.” Still, she did not respond - inhaling deeply only when the exhale caught in her throat pleaded with a soft rasp and rattle. Her brows knitted together, she knew your intentions were good but it wasn’t enough to usurp the additional anger your words had lain over her soul. At her continued silence, her battle of restraint, you withdrew your hands - only for Cait’s eyes to snap open, a hand shooting out to grab a wrist. The grip was tight, desperate, as she guided your hand to return. “… don’t go.” Something she hoped was anything other than pity flashed across your gaze, “Cait…” you began, your other hand returning to her other cheekbone as the ministrations restarted. “I said, don’t go”, her tone firmer, slightly more certain of her deserving this time, so you shuffled closer. Your forehead against hers again, “I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere.” “I’m sorry.” “You have nothing to be sorry for, you’re… there’s a lot on your plate right now.” Cait knew what word you’d intended to say. Mourning. It was true, it was evidently very real, and very raw but to hear it… to label it, to recognise it… she wasn’t sure if she was ready to face it yet - each time you had said it before causing her to deflate slightly - and yet it was an inescapable plague. She was mourning her mother, mourning the fact the chance she’d been hunting, waiting, praying for had been stolen… mourning herself, mourning Vi. It felt as if all she did was mourn. She hated it. “… I left Vi… to find her own way.” “… She can look after herself-” “I… I hurt her.” Your thumbs paused once more, your mind suddenly remembering her lingering hold on your wrist. That hardly sounded like Cait at all. “… Not seriously but…” her voice retreated to a whisper tinged with regret, “I wish I hadn’t.” “… She’ll understand.” Her face pushed deeper into your hand, her gaze falling from your eyes to your temple in a subtle aversion of eye contact. “You should have seen how she looked at me…” She almost sounded close to tears, “I…” It felt strange to open up about Vi with you. She did well in hiding it from you but Caitlyn’s feelings were…more confusing than she would admit. It was a matter of twisted luck in actual fact - the faint and rare gestures of affection you had seen were easily attributed to the fact that the pair were almost trauma bonded. “I just… how could she?” Her brows twitched, gaze stealing a quick glance into your own. How could she, how dare she, feel so important that Caitlyn’s anger splintered into herself? As she would come to learn, a blade cuts both ways. Her grip on your wrist had loosened by now, the inevitability of her exhaustion catching up. Even without the knowledge of the double-edged nature of her question, you did not know how to reply and a calm quiet blanketed the room. A chance for Cait to defocus, or at least try to.
The rest of the world at a standstill with you together, time blurred - protected by the curtains. At some point, maybe minutes, maybe hours later, Caitlyn relaxed properly into your embrace.

It’s been a while since I wrote anything 😭 I honestly wrote this on a whim so it’s not the best. I hope after exams are over I’ll have more motivation to write. Enjoy lovelies 🐛

Cw: Caitlyn is mean like really mean. Gun use? Idk she pushes you.
Since the death of her mother, Caitlyn wasn’t the same. Everyone noticed it: her father, Vi, and you, of course. At first it just started off with her being distant, which you didn’t think of too much; she needed time to grieve. But it just kept going downhill from there.
That’s how you two ended up here; the sun had just set, and you two were in the forest. She was dressed in her full uniform with her rifle while you were dressed in shorts and a shirt. You felt nervous, a little scared.
“You've been complaining a lot about how I don’t spend time with you or how I’m not as lovely as before.” Her words were laced with venom; she was walking around you in a circle, and she kept looking you up and down like you were prey. Her prey. You went to say something but were cut off very quickly by her booming voice.
“I’ll give you 30 seconds to run. You better run for your life, doll. GO NOW!” You didn’t even look back at her; you just kept running and running. You couldn’t hear your heartbeat in your ears; your breathing was so heavy. You could faintly hear her run in another direction, but you didn’t slow. You were caught up in trying to not get caught that you lost your footing and tumbled down a small hill.
‘Shit, shit, shit.’
The moment you stopped rolling, you stood on your feet to continue running; suddenly you felt an arm loop around your waist. You start to struggle and squirm in her hold when you feel the cold metal of her rifle. Letting out a small whimper, you stop struggling against her.
“Smart girl. See, I knew you weren’t as dumb as I thought.” You feel the cold metal of her rifle against your stomach; you try to stay as still as you can. Before you even had time to process anything, you heard the crunch of leaves under you; she had pushed you down onto the ground. Letting out a little whimper, you turn to look at her, god, that look, that mean look she had in her eyes that made you feel small.
“Let’s get to the fun part, huh?”

⚠️arcane s2 spoilers⚠️
i just saw someone say "vi put on a uniform for caitlyn but caitlyn never took hers off", even going as far as saying that caitvi shouldn't have ended up together bcuz they have the dynamic of "oppressor and oppressed". tell me you've never paid attention to a single thing caitlyn's done or said in either season without telling me😭😭 (this is my nth post abt this bcuz it pisses me off when ppl mischaracterize her so when you see underlined text, it's linked to a more detailed post)
are we forgetting when she traded her weapon, her gun, her only protection away for a shimmer/medication/potion thing w/ that fucked up undercity dude with the glasses (the one who became the first of the glorious evolution) for vi and hugged him as thanks?
when she saw ekko's commune, his tree, and validated ekko's feelings about piltover and enforcers but also told him the cycle of violence needs to be broken because the undercity needs healing - something ekko could understand even in his anger and hurt.
when she confronted her own parents abt how the government doesn't care about zaun and the situation there, and then took it straight to the council. when jayce, her literal childhood best friend and basically a brother to her, now a councilor, ASKED HER IF SHE KNOWS WHO MADE ONE OF JINX'S BOMBS AND SHE WENT "no, well, uh-" because vi held her hand. she asked him, in front of everyone, "what happened to you" when he suggested using hextech to invade zaun.
even when vi got sick of trying to change things through the council, caitlyn kept telling her there must be another way and they just needed to make a new plan. oil and water, vi said, and that she was stupid to think it would work, but caitlyn's response was, what about us? what about the actual people, not their value as representatives of a group, a stereotype, one of many indistinguishable units? we aren't oil and water.
ppl say she used to view zaunites as just "creeps, crooks and villains" and after seeing more from them through vi, she changed it to "innocent helpless victims", which obv is dehumanizing since you don't recognize a person's capability for both good and evil and only see them as a stereotype. but she's always recognized both kinds of people exist in the undercity and that being "good" or "bad" isn't that simple. ppl seem to be mad she didn't try and dismantle piltover's entire police force like that would be possible or a solution to zaun's problems. she has a strong moral compass and a sense of justice - innocents should be protected and criminals prosecuted, zaunites or topsiders. if you steal, you should go to jail. but when you come from the dark alleys of zaun and poverty and deprivation is all you know, you're way more likely to steal, and when enforcers are prejudiced against you, you're more likely to face excessive violence and maybe serve a longer sentence. and this is why she tells the council that there are good people down there, that there is rampant poverty, famine, a drug problem, etc. her focus is on the daily humanitarian struggles of the average people.
you guys will twist yourselves in knots to make excuses for jinx, justify her actions and forgive her for what she's done (when she literally, aside from murdering a bunch of people and destroying a fuckton of stuff because she was insane, unstable and uncontrollable, literally directly prevented zaun from getting sovereignty by blowing up the council) but you don't recognize caitlyn's entire change in character started when jinx tried to blow her up multiple times, kidnapped her, tried to get vi to kill her, blew up the council killing her mother and then (this wasn't jinx but caitlyn doesn't know that) turned the councilor memorial statue reveal to a massacre. see: this very accurate post.
"caitlyn never took her uniform off" well maybe because she was scared of jinx, paranoid, angry, grieving her mother, seeking justice and buckling under the pressure of becoming head of house kiramman. perfectly normal reactions considering the circumstances. she even acknowledged to jayce how upsetting it was to realize this hate she harbored for jinx had started to undo a lot of the work she did towards understanding the undercity and zaunites better and seeking to help them. but i believe she thought jinx was a hazard to them too.
i have a whole other post diving into this, as well as why she wanted vi to "put on a uniform" (temporarily until they caught jinx, and not just bcuz she thought vi was "one of the good ones" but bcuz she wanted her close, under her protection and equipped w/ all resources and privileges available to piltover, not to mention ppl are seriously undermining the fact that vi played a role in that conflict too) and why she made the mistake of going too far in her pursuit of jinx - most notably becoming rougher and jailing people, poisoning the air as a battle tactic, endangering isha, hurting vi, assuming the commander position and pursuing jinx even harder. but this post isn't about that, it's about other ways in which she metaphorically took off her uniform, and even the way she wore it.
caitlyn wasn't happy as a commander, she wasn't going on a power trip, she didn't "become a dictator all too willingly" like ppl are saying. and yes, that doesn't mitigate the damage she did to zaun but she had clear goals she was pursuing, none of which involved harming innocents (but protecting them), and she even confronted ambessa when she thought her right hand was out of line, which caused tension between them. though blinded by a desire for revenge, she remained concerned with the undercity's state and realized ambessa was manipulating her, even saying something like "why is peace always a justification for violence?" to her. the cost of what she was doing was too much for her. all things considered, commander caitlyn wore her uniform in the best possible way.
and she took it off as soon as she saw what was on the line. vi's father turned monster would go berserk when injected by singed, innocents would be ripped to shreds, and he'd be captured and used as a weapon by ambessa (against the undercity or whomever). for all of these reasons, caitlyn betrayed ambessa. she double crossed her, and the way she acted it out matters, not just because vi, who she'd decked the last time she saw, called her "cupcake". but because it was the right fucking thing to do.
i have a separate post about caitlyn's implied guilt about the things she'd done, about her knowing she couldn't undo those mistakes. this is what made her so desparate to try to make up for them that she not only send the guards away so vi could free jinx (another brilliant analysis here), but it also resulted in the way she fought ambessa tooth and nail alongside mel - like she had a death wish. she, a sniper, sacrificed her eye so she could remove ambessa's talisman by cutting it free with the dagger she took out of her own side. and even in the very end, when she asks vi if she's still in this fight, it could be interpreted as the fight for zaun too since she gave sevika, a zaunite, an ally of jinx, her mother's councilor seat.
so don't fucking talk to me about how she "never took her uniform off" for vi, when she's done that so many times metaphorically (and their last scene is literally one of the very few in the entire show where she isn't wearing any insignia), and she's done it for zaun too. and maybe even more so than that - it's how she wore it that matters. what she did with her privilege and her power - her character and agency.
season two is at fault for mismanaging the piltover/zaun conflict and not focusing on it enough in its latter half, as well as also not showing any proper longer caitvi conversations that might've taken place, in favor of... glorious evolution alien robots??

The Tutor
Summary: Clearwater College, a public college in Piltover full of the stereotypical college kids. What if a certain girl stands out from the rest?
Pairing(s): Tutor!Cassandra Kiramman x Fem!Reader
Notes: For the sake of this Caitlyn isn’t Cassandras daughter😭
Y/n is failing Math.
If one thing if for certain, it’s definitely that Y/n is failing math. Every test has received negative feedback from her teacher, the most marks she’s ever received on a test is five. I mean it’s not her fault she’s too invested with her other subjects to focus on her math work. Don’t even bother questioning her about math, she will completely mind blank everything she’s learnt.
You sling your bag over your shoulder as you trudge out of your math class, the paper with your predicted grade in your hands. Grade 1. In no way are you passing that course. You sigh and fold the paper, putting it into your back pocket.
An arm is thrown around your shoulder causing you to jump and turn your head towards the body of the arm, rolling your eyes as you sees your best friend, Violet. You shove the arm off your shoulder and fully put the bag on your shoulders.
“Ouch, someone is angsty about their predicted grade.” Vi teases as she shoves her hands into her hoodie pocket, a smirk over her face, “Speaking of…what is your predicted grade?”
You can already hear the laughter once you tell her, so to avoid that you decide not to answer the question, “What lesson is next? Biology, right?”
Vi purses her lips as you dodge her question, she decides to let it slip and nods her head at your words, “Yeah. A class that you are going to pass, right?” She chuckles at her own words and nudges your shoulder.
Groaning your push open the stair door aggressively, pausing when you hear a thud from behind it. You glance at Vi before peaking around the door and finding a brunette with short hair sat on the floor with her things scattered everywhere.
“That’s your problem.” Vi pats your shoulder and quickly walks away from you, walking up the stairs two at a time to avoid being pulled back into the situation.
You curse gently under your breath and crouch down to help pick up the papers, you look back at her and freeze at how beautiful she is. You meet her blue eyes and your cheeks begin to heat up as you begin to spur out words, “I’m so sorry- I didn’t realise you were- fuck.”
She watches with a raised brow as you stumble over your words. You scratch above your right eyebrow and slowly close your mouth as you realise she’s just watched you speak utter nonsense, not to help the fact she looks rich, too rich to be going public school.
“Are you done?”
Fuck, she sounds rich as well. Your day just couldn’t get any better could it. You nods your head at her question, awkwardly passing the papers back to her.
“Are- Are you new? I’ve never seen you before.” You ask as you try and scan her face for any familiarity in it, finding none. She must be new, right? You know nearly everyone in the college.
“No? I’m in your math class, i’ve been here since you’ve joined.” She gently takes the papers from you and adds it to the top of the pile in her hands.
The beautiful, rich woman stood in front of you is in your math class…meaning she’s seen you fail to answer the simplest of questions about algebra? Embarrassment may as well have been stood in front of you.
“Oh.” You hum and nod your head, you turn your head away from her and lick your lips. She nods as well with a soft smile on her face.
COULD SHE GET ANY MORE BEAUTIFUL? You swear your heart is beating out of your chest at this point. You awkwardly gesture towards the stairs and smile.
“Uh, biology.” You say and begin to walk towards the stairs, watching as she furrows her eyebrows and opens the door shaking her head as she walks down the corridor to her next lesson.
What was her name? Never mind that, you’re going to be late to your lesson if you don’t make it in the next 5 minutes.
You quickly sprint up the stairs and rush down the corridor, stopping in front of your classroom and pushing open the door and sitting in your seat next to Vi and her girlfriend.
“Here she is, surprisingly not late to lesson.” The redheaded girl next to you, scans your appearance and chuckles as she sees the flushed cheeks, realising you had to run up the stairs.
“I- whatever.” You dismiss her words and begin to write into your book, ignoring the chattering from the couple sat next to you.
——————————————————————————
Sitting down at the lunch table you take a bite of your pizza as you cringe at the couple in front of you, tongues practically down each other’s throats.
“This is a public space if you didn’t know.” You interrupt them, watching as they pull away from each other, your eyes squeezing shut as you watch Caitlyn stand up from Vi’s lap to make it worse.
“You’re just mad.” Vi states as she bites her sandwich, amused by your disgusted face. You open your eyes and look at her with furrowed eyebrows.
“No, i’m not. It’s just that I have the decency to not tongue, dry hump, or do any form of PDA in public. But clearly you don’t care.” You mumble your last words and take a bite of your pizza as you list what you’ve witnessed them do.
Caitlyn’s cheeks begin to flush at your words as Vi laughs and flicks a piece of bread at your face, “For the love of- grow up.” Caitlyn scolds her girlfriend and rolls her eyes, taking a bite of her own food.
“Pfft, like a puppy.” You chuckle as Vi immediately listens to her girlfriend, laughing harder as her head turns towards you with a scowl.
Vi’s debating whether to throw her sandwich at your face or threaten your existence on earth. She goes with the latter.
“Well a puppy wouldn’t be able to rip off your limbs slowly and painfully, then put it in a blender, cook up a nice patty and serve it to people, would it?” She snarls.
Your mouth slowly drops open at her words and you glance towards Caitlyn who looks equally as shocked as you do, the forkful of salad hovering just in front of her mouth. You quickly look down, the cheese pizza looking more interesting than before. Was cheese always that colour?
The few minutes of awkward silence are interrupted when the clacking of heels are heard from behind you, almost sounding like it’s coming towards-
“Y/n.” You jump and quickly turn around, coming face to face with your math teacher. You smile at her and open your mouth to speak before the words are caught in your throat as you catch sight of the brunette from before.
“This is Cassandra, she’s going to tutor you. Hopefully that grade of yours will improve with her.” She tells you with a smile on her face.
Oh no. No, no, no this was bad. This was really bad. The woman who you can barely even speak properly to will be tutoring you? Meaning more time spent together. Your brain short circuits and you catch yourself glancing at the brunette.
“Ye- Yeah thats great, i hope so too.” You chuckle and give a thumbs up, your jaw clenching as you can hear snickers coming from behind you.
Deciding to ignore it you grab the paper from your teacher and check the tutoring schedule.
Monday - 18:00 till 19:00
Wednesday - 16:00 till 17:00
Friday - 18:00 till 19:00
Optional: Saturday - 17:00 till 18:00
It’s currently Friday, therefore you’ve got tutoring tonight with Cassandra. God aren’t you such a lucky soul.
You glance up from the paper, only to notice they’ve both gone. You turn around and look at your friends to find them both giving you a thumbs up, mocking your previous actions.
“Piss off.” You roll your eyes as they chuckle, before you let out a noise of shock as the paper is snatched from your hands and is now in the grasp of the redheaded woman.
“Friday, six till seven. Seems little Y/n over here has a tutoring session with her little crush tonight.” Vi teases as she speaks to Caitlyn, hearing her giggle you grab the paper back from her and fold it, tucking it into your pocket.
“It’s not a crush, God. Get a grip. Both of you.” You scold them before picking up your pizza and finishing it, shaking your head at the sound of them chuckling.
——————————————————————————
Opening the library doors, you smile at the lady sat at the front desk and walk further into the building. Your eyes catch sight of the brunette sat at a desk with papers and textbooks around her, a wince forms on your face as you walk over to her.
Pulling out the chair in front of her and sitting down you begin to chew on your bottom lip, “Sorry about this, I didn’t expect her to sign me up for tutoring.” You apologise as you scratch the back of your neck.
Cassandra waves you off and passes you an empty notebook, “It’s fine, don’t worry. Is it fine if we start with the Quadratic Formula? Most pupils tend to struggle on that one.” She questioned, her eyes flickering to your eyes as she opens the textbook.
You nod at her words and open the notebook, ready to write down whatever she tells you to, obviously the first thing to write was the equation.
“The first thing that would be best to write down the formula, which is; Minus b, Plus–minus sign, square root, b squared, Minus four ac, over two a.” She explains as she watches you scribble it down into your notebook.
“The formula is usually given to us when we have something that resembles,” She stops to write something down on a piece of paper, turning it around to face you.
ax2 + bx + c = 0
“Have you ever been told how much i hate algebra?” You stare at her questioningly, watching as she giggles a little at your words.
“I know Y/n, but Miss wants you to pass her class. So you better start liking it or else these tutor lessons will be useless.” Cassandra softly replied, before she leans down to scribble an example question on the paper.
God how can someone look so gorgeous whilst explaining math? You watch as she explains how to but the numbers into the formula, but one word is in through one ear and out the other.
The way her blue eyes sparkle as she explains about the mathematical equation, how her short brunette hair shines in the light in the corner of the library, how she speaks with so much confidence, not fearing of saying something wrong, god you could just ki-
“Are you even listening to me?” She blinked at you.
“Huh? Yeah of course i am!” Your eyes widen as she questions your attention towards the math equation.
“What did i just say then? Hm? If you were listening to me.” She raised a brow as she waits for a response from you, obviously knowing that you don’t know the answer.
Your mouth opens to speak before it closes, and you tap your finger against the table, “Look…how about we just let me fail math? We know that’s the inevitable outcome for me.” You stop tapping on the table and jump as you feel a hand on yours.
“I want you to pass as much as miss does, clearly you have some sort of attention problems. So would it be better if i incorporated some sort of games or rewards into my tutoring sessions?” She observes your reaction to her words, chuckling as she’s very clearly caught your attention.
“That would be great, thanks.” The alarm for the end of the session rings on her phone, causing the pair of you to jump.
You help her pack up the textbooks and papers, walking out of the library with her. Stopping outside the library doors and fidgeting with your fingers.
“See you on Monday?” You ask, looking at her and hoping she says yes.
“Of course, Y/n.” She gives you one last smile before turning and walking away from you, leaving you stood there wanting to know more about the woman.

Can you CatVi x Reader where Reader touched VI’s jacket and it got into a mess of paint that the Reader was painting and Vi and Cait came home and saw the painting but saw VI’s jacket. But Vi was shocked and didn’t say anything but was angry.
Comin' right up!
Don't Cry Over Spilled Paint | CaitVi x Reader
╰┈➤ PLOT: Messy. That was the word to describe you and your relationship with paint. After fair warnings to wash your hands after you paint, you get yourself into some trouble that might bite you in the butt later on.
╰┈➤ WARNINGS: Cursing, Not Proofread, 3000+ words, No Use of Y/n, Angry Vi, Fluff Towards The End, Caitlyn Giggles (shh)
⍣ ೋ Enjoy!⍣ ೋ
(A/N): UMMM totally didn't see where Anon said Vi doesn't say anything ab being upset. She totally did and IM SO SORRY ANON 😭😭
You weren't sure how it happened. One minute you were painting a beautiful piece that showed Zaun in its light and then the next you were frantically scrubbing paint off of Vi's red jacket.
Maybe this could've been avoided if you just listened to Caitlyn.
"Make sure you wash your hands after you paint," she would always say to you. "You touch everything after you paint and you get paint everywhere."
You should've listened to her, you really should've, but she wasn’t here to warn you. So, technically, this was on her!
"Come on, come on," you muttered as you scrubbed a white rag on the jacket. Luckily, the paint spot was small. The color of the paint a navy blue and it was right next to some forever dirt patches in the jacket so the spot wasn't noticeable.
With the jacket and rag underneath running water, you declared the jacket done. The paint had already dried and there was no going back now. Besides, would Vi really notice that minuscule spot? You didn't think so.
A relieved sigh escaped your mouth as you shut off the tap. Wringing the rag out, you noticed two palm-sized white spots on the jacket. You set the rag down, going to inspect the jacket but before the jacket even touched your hands, your heart dropped to your feet.
The palms of your hands were white from priming your next canvas. The same white on the jacket matched the white on your hands.
Maybe it's just a coincidence.
You leaned your head further into the sink, too terrified to even touch the jacket. Through the white primer on the jacket, some lines and cracks matched the pattern of a human's palms. Okay, if your heart hadn't sunk before, it was now. Oh, and now you were trembling with fear.
You turned the tap on again. The water splashed and sprouted upwards from hitting Vi's jacket. You watched as the soaked jacket continued to take more water but the white spots not diminishing.
You turned the tap to hot.
Still the same reaction. Jacket soaks up water, paint remains untouched.
You should've noticed that the paint on your hands wasn't transferring to the faucet handles; a sign of dried hand paint.
"We're home!" Caitlyn's voice rang throughout the home.
Shit.
You thought you had more time. You thought you could take her jacket to the dry cleaners and get someone to professionally get the paint out yet leave all the dirt and grime so Vi wouldn't notice the difference.
You thought you had time to research how to get primer out of fabric and search up which primer you used to see if it was water-soluble. Was there even such a thing as a water-soluble primer? What's the point of a primer if it disappears with water?? FUCK.
Wooden creaks and deep steps rattled the floor above you. Caitlyn and Vi were settling themselves in the kitchen. This meant you had some time to hide the jacket in your studio before Vi noticed her missing jacket.
Quickly, you grabbed a plastic bag and shoved her jacket inside. You needed to keep the jacket wet. The wetter the jacket, the easier the paint comes out. Well, that was your theory at least. Tying the bag into knots you'll have to cut out later, you shoved the bag into a box of battered art supplies.
Don't ask why you have a large cardboard box filled with dead/empty art supplies. You don't know yourself.
"Muffin!" Vi shouted from the studio's entrance. "You comin' up or what?"
"Yeah!" your voice trembled. "Just trying to wash some paint off my hands."
Hearing the slight tremble in your voice, Vi took it upon herself to travel down into the basement-- oh, sorry, into your art studio -- to see what was the matter.
However, once she reached the halfway point of the staircase, you came running up.
"Whoa," Vi laughed. She placed her hands on your shoulders to prevent the two of you from colliding. "Where's the fire?"
You chuckled, sheepish and breathless. "Oh, uh. I thought you guys needed me and I didn't want you to wait much longer."
"Oh, well, that's cute of you, Muffin, but we're alright." Vi ruffled your hair. "I just wanted to make sure you ate your food before it gets cold."
"Aw, you got me food?" You put your hands on her shoulders and pushed her up the stairs. There was some resistance, naturally, but Vi let you push her up anyway.
"Well, yeah we know you've been--"
"Caitlyn!" you greeted, locking eyes with her. The girl was mid-bite in a pancake, the circle good dangling from her mouth and eyes wide. Vi laughed at her and the girl quickly took the pancake from her mouth with red cheeks.
"H-Hi!" she returned the greeting. She stood up from the counter and cleaned her hands off with a napkin. "Um, we got you food. Your favorite breakfast meal."
"Oh, great!" You removed your hands from Vi's body and made a beeline into the kitchen. The food was already plated for you with your favorite beverage on the side. You ate contently, trying not to let your worry show through facial expressions.
What was your plan now? Do you tell her? Do you let that jacket mildew and mold and hope she forgets about it? No, there's not way she could forget about it. She wears that jacket every damn day.
"Muffin," Vi said, pulling you out of your thoughts. Caitlyn and Vi were sitting at the counter across from you. When did they get there? You had no clue. "Why are your palms white? Like, whiter than Caitlyn white?"
You stifled a laugh while Caitlyn swatted her arm. "I was painting. That's why I was in the studio."
"Yeah, I know," Vi said through laughter. Caitlyn's swat had no effect on her. "But I thought you were washing your hands? Your hands were wet when you were pushing me up the-- wait," Violet deadpanned. "I don't have paint on me, do I?"
Frantic, the woman searched her arms for paint. The woman was wearing nothing but a plain white tank and some random pants. You would totally be distracted by her buff arms if your heart wasn't slowly finding its place in your chest.
Caitlyn hummed, eating a piece of pancake while she searched Vi's body. "No, you look fine which tells me someone forgot to wash their hands after they were done painting again." You received a scolding look from the English lady.
You shrugged with a dry chuckle. "Don't worry. I didn't get paint on anything."
Safe to say, your girlfriends did not believe you. Immediately springing up from their chairs, they raced to your studio despite your pleas.
They couldn't find any new marks of paint on the walls or support pillars. In fact, when they were done searching, they stumbled upon your Zaun painting and praised you for how well you captured the city.
"Wow, Muffin, you did really good with this," Vi complimented. Her fingers reached out towards the canvas, but you quickly slapped her hand away.
"Don't touch! It's still wet."
Vi snickered but obeyed. She stepped back but continued to admire your recent artwork.
Caitlyn, on the other hand, wasn't fully convinced you didn't touch anything with your painted hands. She strode towards the sink to see if there were any new paint marks. Instead of finding new paint, she found that the sink was still shiny from recent usage.
She hummed to herself. Vi said your hands were wet, though no paint transferred to her arms. So, your hands weren't wet with paint but with water. Caitlyn's gaze flickered over to your damp washcloth. Recently wrung up with a new paint mark.
The mark was a faded blue. The blue matched the blues you used in your painting, but the mark wasn't big enough for Caitlyn to assume you were cleaning up your lines with a towel.
You spilled paint on something, but on what?
To the left of her, Caitlyn spotted the box of art supplies. A hoarder, her partner was, keeping empty paint tubes, dead brushes, and other things you use for your craft.
What Caitlyn spotted was a new lump in the box. Instead of your dead supplies lying relatively flat, there was something disturbing the colorful sea, something hiding.
"Darling," Caitlyn called out for you with a finger on her chin and her other arm supporting the elbow. "Did you run out of a lot of paint while making that piece? Your graveyard of art supplies seemed to have grown."
Both yours and Vi's gaze snapped from the painting and to Caitlyn.
The three of you sat in silence, yet the tension in the air rose.
Your gaze flickered from the box, to Vi, to the box, to Caitlyn, and then back to the box.
Before anyone could say anything, you dashed. You didn't get far, matter of fact, you got nowhere before Vi wrapped her arms around your middle to hold you back.
Caitlyn went digging through the box, detirmined. Nothing could get past her. Not even her partner who loves to paint but is too messy for their own good.
"Aha!" Caitlyn triumphed as she held up the tied plastic bag. She poked the bag, a smile growing on her face. "Interesting. It's still wet and slimy inside. A recent hiding, must I say."
"Cait, don't!" you plead, squirming and wiggling under Vi's grip. The pinkette tightened her grasp around you.
"You're not going anywhere," her voice rasped through gritted teeth. You were being a challenge with all your squirms, but Vi had no problem throwing you over her shoulder if you became too much. Besides, she was having too much fun watching you beg and plead for Caitlyn not to open the bag.
"I'm sorry, but I have to." Caitlyn's long and slender fingers toyed with the knot. She used her fingernails to pull up a piece of the thin plastic before slipping her finger inside to loosen the knot completely.
"Caitlyn, I'm telling you, do not open that bag."
Opened, she did.
The girl barely took a gander before she gasped at the bag's containment. "You're right," she said through a trembling and quiet voice. "I do not need to open this bag. This bag must remain closed."
"What?" Vi exclaimed, letting go of you. "Oh, come on! Show me what's in the bag! It isn't fair you two know what it is and I don't."
Vi marched over to Caitlyn, but the blue-haired girl held the bag over her head. "No, Violet, I mean it. We need to respect our partner's boundaries and not open this bag."
You were frozen in fear. Vi was too close to the bag for your own good. You were thankful for Caitlyn's understanding of keeping the bag away from Vi, but that didn't mean you wont be hearing a lesson in your near future.
"Bull. Shit." Vi then brought her fingers to Caitlyn's armpit and tickled her. The bluenette immediately caved with giggles. Her crinkled eyes and cute smile would usually be an adorable sight to see, but right now, the sight made you seethe with anger.
Really, Cait? Couldn't hold on for just a bit longer?
Caitlyn brought her arm down, folding it like a chicken wing to stop Vi from tickling her. "Stop!" she giggled.
Vi grinned, snatching the back from her hand. "Anything for you, princess." The pinkette opened the bag and stared at its contents.
Caitlyn slid her way over to you, a small frown on her face as she played with her hands. "I'm sorry I couldn't keep it away from her for long," she whispered.
You sighed, watching Vi's face crinkle and express many, yet unreadable, emotions. "It's fine," you whispered back. "Just promise you'll attend my funeral."
Finally, after what seemed like 30 agonizing minutes, Vi spoke. "Is this my jacket?"
You gulped. "What do you want it to be?"
Vi called you by your name, her gaze lasering on you. Her eyes were darkened with anger, her lips upturned into a scowl. "Don't play cute with me," she called you by your name again. "Is this my jacket?"
Your heart was back in your chest again, but this time, it felt like it wanted to escape. A deep lump lodged and settled itself in your throat, making it difficult to say the words your brain was telling you to say.
Your chalky palms now wet from sweat and your body buzzing with anxiety. You couldn't say anything. You wanted to, but you couldn't.
You only watched the ticking time bomb on Vi's face as her expression went from upset to vexed. Her face was red with anger, the hands gripping the bag turned into fists, and her chest rose and fell with each staggered breath.
Vi took her jacket out of the bag. She scoffed at its drenched state and brought it over to the sick. She wrung it out like you did once before with a rag. Her hands were covering where the spots were.
Much like yourself, Caitlyn couldn't say a word. The two of you watched her like deers stuck in headlights. What could one say to de-escalate the situation? Caitlyn felt that if she tried to calm Vi down, she would be brushed off and told not to speak.
Vi studied the jacket from each angle. She studied the front, she studied the back. She studied the inside and then studied the pockets. It wasn't until she draped the jacket over a forearm she saw the two obnoxious spots of primer.
"I can't believe this," Vi said quietly, only a true sign of her deep anger. "Time and time again, we tell you to wash your hands and not touch anything. It was cute the first couple of times, annoying the next, and now I'm pissed off."
This had to be worse than any lecture Caitlyn would've given you.
"This is my jacket. My favorite jacket." Vi's back was turned to you, but now she's facing you dead on. Honest, you preferred her back to you. Then you wouldn't have to see the hurt in her eyes and she wouldn't have to see the sadness in yours.
A voice in Vi's head told her to stop talking but the anger she was feeling mimicked the anger she felt when Vander died. She had no control over what she was going to say, she could feel it. She wanted to stop talking to prevent further damage, but her emotions took her whole.
"I stole this from some rando after I beat his ass. I've had this for around 2 years now and until you came along, it was unscathed."
"Vi..." Caitlyn warned.,
"Sure, there were some dirt and sweat stains here and there, but that's what gave this jacket character. It's what made this jacket more like me because even though it was dirty, grimy, and stinky, it preserved through all the shit it went through," Vi continued.
You weren't sure if you were crying. Your eyes stung like you were, but the rest of your body shut down. Vi's words were like piercing sharp arrows flying through the wind and your body was the target. You've mastered the heart of tuning out lengthy and emotional lectures thanks to your parents, but all that skill was no match for Vi's words.
"All it took. All it took was your careless thinking and some fucking paint to ruin the one thing that felt like me. Thanks for that." Vi threw the jacket into the sink and went upstairs.
She didn't bother to look you or Caitlyn in the eye.
-
It's been a few days and you and Vi haven't talked. The first few days you didn't talk because the wounds were still fresh but as the silence grew and the wounds began to heal, the problem was finding the right words to say.
You've tried to apologize for the jacket multiple times, but she wouldn't hear it. Caitlyn even took the jacket to the cleaners to get the stains out, but Vi didn't want to see it.
Every time Vi got a glimpse of you or the jacket hanging in the closet, she knew she had to apologize to you. She wanted to apologize to you, but she didn't know how. Caitlyn tried to help countless of times, but no avail.
Sleeping arrangements were worse.
Vi slept on the couch the first few nights and then after some coaxing by Caitlyn, Vi slept on the furtherest side of the bed. Typically she liked to be in the middle or you would be in the middle, but as of late, she slept on the left and you slept on the right.
Poor Caitlyn had to sleep in the middle. She hated the middle. She didn't like how warm the two of you were in the night, making her burn up. She didn't like how if she wanted to read or work in bed, she couldn't turn the nightstand lamp on. The middle was awful. She wanted her right side back.
The night of the week anniversary of the argument, you and Vi stumbled into the bedroom to find Caitlyn sitting on the edge of the bed and glaring at the two of you.
"I am not sleeping in the middle any longer," she declared. "You two are too warm, I don't have enough arm or leg room, and I can't read which means I'm restless every time I sleep!" Caitlyn stood from the bed, arms crossed over her body. "And to be fair, I've grown tired of your childish argument. You two are grown adults. Talk your shit out so we can sleep in our rightful places."
You and Vi glanced at each other.
You already said your apology. What else could you say? It wasn't like you could offer her a meal, it was too late to eat and you definitely weren't saying another apology,
Vi sighed, looking away first. She shrugged, going to the left side of the bed. Caitlyn stopped her by pushing a hand to her chest. "Nuh-uh," Caitlyn eyed her. She pointed towards your direction with her brows furrowed. Vi groaned and walked back over to you.
"Oh, well that's one way to make a person feel warm and fuzzy inside," you scoffed. Vi rolled her eyes.
"Oh, please, you mean like ruining someone's jacket?"
"It wasn't on purpose!" you exclaimed. "You know it wasn't on purpose. I understand your being upset for my clumsiness and lack of awareness when it comes to wet paint, but you can't still be mad at me for something I got fixed."'
"You didn't even fix it," Vi rolled her eyes again. "One of Caitlyn's fancy buddies did."
"And who do you think paid for that?" you scoffed at her. "It might've been a buddy of hers but I still had to pay full price for a Piltover dry cleaning service. I don't believe in waving money and prices over people's faces, but since you want to go there, that cost me two months' worth of payments and as a starving artist, that's a lot of money to recover."
Vi only shrugged as her mouth converted into some sort of frown. She didn't know you had to pay 1,200 dollars to get her jacket fixed. She could've been more grateful and showed you some gratitude for getting her jacket cleaned, but you were the one who ruined it anyway. It was your job to get the jacket cleaned.
Caitlyn sighed. "Vi, stop being stubborn and say 'thank you' and an apology."
"Why should I have to say an apology?" Vi knew why, though she didn't want to admit it aloud.
"Why?" Caitlyn scoffed. "Vi, I knew you were thick-headed but I never thought it to be this extreme." Shaking her head, Caitlyn climbed into bed. "Fine then. Don't apologize and don't patch things up. I'm tired of being the referee."
Something stirred inside Vi. It wasn't anger or contentment, but instead a sadness. Not only is she unable to patch things up with you, but now she's dragged Caitlyn into this mess. Caitlyn was the peacemaker because Vi, herself, was unable to make peace with anything.
Caitlyn didn't deserve this. You didn't either.
If Vi didn't nip this in the bud, she was going to lose the both of you. She was going to lose the only people who saw her for her and loved her regardless of her faults.
"I'm sorry," the words stumbled out of Vi like a baby bird trying to fly for the first time, "to the both of you."
Caitlyn peered up at her with a book in her hand. You, who hasn't said or done anything since the last time you spoke, met her gaze.
"Muffin, I'm sorry for lashing out on you and not being mature enough to handle this situation properly. You trying to hide the bag is on me because I should've created a space where you can come to me about anything. Even if you think it may upset me."
"It's okay--"
"It's not okay. You don't have to forgive me or say some line like, 'Oh, everyone gets angry sometimes'. No. It's not okay and I apologize for my behavior. I'm working on it." Vi put a hesitant hand on your shoulder. When you allowed her to, she smiled and pressed a kiss ot your temple.
"And, Cupcake," Vi addressed Caitlyn. Caitlyn hummed in response. "I'm sorry for roping you into this and not realizing how miserable you were while Muffin and I fought."
"Yeah," you chimed. "I'm sorry about that too. You didn't deserve any of this."
A soft smile rested upon Caitlyn's lips. She motioned the two of you over, willingly wanting to be in the middle so she could hug you both. You and Vi gathered by her side, wrapping an arm around her. "I love you too, lugs," Caitlyn said behind a laugh. "I hope we can all learn from this."
"Yeah," you said behind a grin. "I learned that Caitlyn is severely ticklish and will cave immediately after a few seconds of tickling."
"What?" Caitlyn blushed. "No, that was not the lesson here," she nervously chuckled, her blush already spreading to her ears.
Vi laughed along with you. "Yeah, actually. I accidentally found that out like a month or two ago and only used it the day of the fiasco."
You gasped. "You found out and you didn't tell me?"
"Well, I didn't know how!" Vi laughed.
"Now, hang on a minute," Caitlyn said trying to catch your attention.
"Well, now I feel left out." "Who's to say you can't tickle her now?"
"Hold on!" Caitlyn pleaded but it was too late. Your hands and fingers found the soft skin on her stomach and laughs roared out of her. Vi joined the activity, tickling some of her neck.
Even after a week of drama, the love between the three of you remained. Plus, you guys even got some giggles out of it.
