You guys! I did a thing! So, I got this idea I wanted to try out with my drawings. I've had some interest generated wondering if I sell prints, which I don't, not yet anyways, but even if I did start selling stuff, I still wanted to have more available than just prints, so I started looking into sublimation. Yesterday I spent all day converting my old printer into a sublimation printer, then got some good scans of my drawings, and, I'm a mug person, so of course my first go to was mugs haha. I'm so excited about how these turned out, especially for my first go (definitely not perfect, need some tweaking, but these were just to test how they would look). And it's brought so many more ideas to me now for drawings that would be made more specifically for certain layouts, whether it's mugs, or maybe canvas bags, or whatever; sublimation opens up a whole bunch of doors to turn my hand drawings into something more tangible (I don't think that's the word I'm looking for, but I'm going to leave it haha). Still got some figuring to do and all that, but I just had to show you guys these because I was too excited, and also, could always use some feedback - what's everybody think, do I need to be talked off the ledge again?? (The stackable mugs at the end; those aren't the drawings I would use for something like that (especially the firework one, that one didn't translate quite as well), but I just wanted a visualization of being able to do specific sets that purposely go together)

To be drawn to a calmer life by love, to choose to settle down with them, and then through loving them, damning them. Cutting down everything in your path to save the person you gave up killing for, only to get there too late. Only to deal the final blow yourself.

I mean, Dad taught us a lot about knife-fighting but this is also swords, and these big claymore looking things, and some other things that I probably shouldn’t try to describe. Oh, and get this: today we were allowed to use an “Angel” blade. I’m telling you, I’m revising ALL of my opinions about Angels if this is what they fight with.

Speaking of Angels. I didn’t tell you. I’d just gotten off the FLT Courier that brought me here and the pilot was picking up their next passenger to take out to the Rift. He walked right by me and I swear the ‘coat’ he was wearing was really wings. I could see the feathers ripple. He had this sort of weird gold ring around his head like a halo and this–I dunno how to even describe it–it was like this rainbow spilling across his face. I tell ya, Sammy, it gave me the shivers, but not in a scary way, just really intense. The pilot called him Casti-El, which is an Angel name, so I guess he was the real deal. Remind me to ask Bobby if he still has that old book of Angel Lore in his library, or did he give that to you?

Is being bitter a bad thing? Not really. How dare we have criticisms against the media we watch???

Why do you watch then?

Because sometimes the character is so incredible they stand above that mistreatment. Because there are other parts of the show or characters to like unrelated to Cas or Crowley

These are characters I enjoy seeing on screen. I don't love them, meaning that when they die it doesn't phase me but when I do see them I get happy about it especially when it's them without Sam and Dean

Really? If her parents are rich she can just ask for money. So it would have had to be something more

If these characters are mistreated I intellectually feel bad for them and wish they had gotten a better send off if they're the bad guy. Like maybe a really badass send off. Or they weren't tortured/murdered if they're good or morally grey. But I don't have any feelings about it? It's more just "they deserved better 😐" and "it would be nice if they returned 😐" or it would be nice if their ending was more badass than getting shot or whatever

But Cas, Crowley and Gavin are the only characters where it's like "they deserved better 🤬!!!" And why tf did you cut Mark's line??? And assassinating Cas' character? Ffs! 😭 Who tf cares about these teachers? I don't!

My feelings for them are more emotional whereas my appreciation for the characters listed above is more appreciation in the way I think of them instead of the way I feel about them but for Crowley, Cas and Gavin it's both appreciation in the way I think and feel for them

That Cas would see his sister and his first response before even talking would be to go up to her and hurt her? His sister?

And it was Dean? Dean "the angels are dicks" Winchester that told Cas he should try talking first? If it's going to be that way it should be the other way round! Cas should hold Dean back from hurting his sister

Cas threatening Kevin didn't bother me because Cas barely knows Kevin and the show intends for that scene to be funny

But the Cas walking up to his sister Cupid threateningly with an angel blade? Like the sister he's known off and on for millions of years?

She even calls Cas "brother" because she sees Cas as her family

The character assassination of Cas is ugh. Like why does it have to be choosing the humans over the angels? Why not both? That's like saying who do you choose, your partner or your dog? Um fucking both! Not all the angels were guilty

But the show makes Cas basically see his siblings as all the same because apparently an angel can't be friends with humans and other angels simultaneously? Ffs

Yeah. Thanks for defending Cas. People say we are just bitter the show didn't go the way we want. But the story didn't make sense. And yeah, I hate the way the story went and what of it?

The show consistenty had this agenda of "Dean taught Castiel how to be moral" and will do whatever it takes to drive it. When Castiel chose humanity out of his own conscience in the first place.

Castiel loved his fellow angels. He was heartbroken over the killing of his brothers and sisters in his garrison in Season 4. He was just suicidal over his killings as Godstiel under influence of Leviathans and purgatory souls. He just cried tears of blood over killing Samandriel under mind control. We later learned from Bartholemew that he wouldn't even kill the angels he captured in a previous civil war and his superiors had to call him away from his station knowing he wouldn't follow orders to kill those angels who were his enemies.

It was not enough that they made him a villain in Season 6 and 7 by making him slaughter thousands. It was not enough to make him ruin heaven even more profoundly by causing the fall. They had to make it his fault for choosing amoral acts (that was completely opposite of his character at this point) to lead to that disaster.

All of this to drive home the point that Castiel had to follow Dean to have a moral compass. To lead to the the BS of "you changed me, Dean". People say Castiel was lost without belonging in his angel family and had to follow Dean for purpose. Exactly what the show tried to force the story to go. They made him have conflict with Dean, each of which result in increasingly disastrous outcome, removing any chance of him having any more self-respect.

I hate it so much.

So far, all of them seemed fairly normal, but Dean knew better than to think that meant anything. He headed for the crypt. If this was a ghoul, that would be a good place to look. The door was open when Dean reached it. He groaned and headed inside. “Cass?” “Wondered when you’d show.” She was standing toward the back, apparently looking around, though she didn’t have any sort of light. Dean shown his flashlight at the wall, searching for any irregularities. “You’re going to have to be faster if you want to compete.” “You’ve been drinking,” Dean protested weakly. “You shouldn’t be out here.” “I’m not even slightly intoxicated. I was just waiting for it to get dark.” She looked him up and down again. “See you stopped to change out of the pretty clothes.” “Hunting is messy.” “Hm.” She kept staring at him, her gaze piercing. “You know my name, pretty boy…what’s yours?” “Dean,” Dean said distractedly. “Got scratches here.” He shone his light on the spot. “Yes, I spotted them…nothing behind there. Dean who?” “Dean Winchester…where is it, then?” “Probably stalking out another victim in whatever skin it’s wearing. You’re John’s son.” “Yeah…you know him?” “He keeps trying to recruit me. But I work alone, and not for money. Come on.” Dean blinked, but followed Cass out of the crypt.
