Cadillac Le Mans

In 1953, Cadillac presented the Le Mans Concept, naming it after the legendary French racing track they raced on in the late ‘40s and early ‘50s. They designed this concept car as a styling exercise. In fact, the design of the car, including its lines and details including its legendary four headlights are still visible on future Cadillac models.

They conceived the car as a roadster with an unusual three-seat configuration. Interestingly, they made it out of fiberglass, just like the first Corvette. The legendary mysteries of famous lost cars still intrigue many people and car historians today. If you ever see any of these treasures, be sure to take a picture before it disappears again.

im still in disbelief how did the 01 go from mechanical black flag in the first hour to WINNING THE WHOLE DAMN RACE with an overtake in the last 20ish minutes despite their car headlights being 3 seconds from extinguishing 😭😭😭 so thrilled for them this is peak endurance racing. they needed this win. ALSO THEY DID IT IN THE CHARITY PINK LIVERY 💝

The 24 Hours Of Le Mans 2023

The race is going on and after 5 hours I have to say that I was looking forward to this race this year and thought it will be great, but really? It isn't great, it is the best race I've seen in... I don't know, since the 90's? The best Le Mans ever? Something like that. So many lead changes in the Hypercar class (and so also the overall classement), cars from Toyota, Ferrari, Porsche, Jota Porsche, Cadillac, Peugeot, all of them were already leading the race for a longer time and it is so close that it is unpredictable who will win. Unfortunately, a few minutes ago the leading JOTA Porsche crashed into the wall in the Porsche corners and is now getting repaired at the pits, so Ferrari is in front now. The weather also was very... let's say interesting. With heavy rain around 18:45 local time. Unfortunately it led to a safety car priod that lasts almost one and a half hour and was way too conservative, because the slicks were already the best tires again as the Safety Car ended.

I hope the race will continue like this, and I hope you all have fun watching.
