Lap Times

Some people are looking at the lap times from The Race of The Century over the weekend, and casting doubts about whether or not I’m actually the fastest car out there. And I get it, it’s probably pretty hard for you people to wrap your head gaskets around the concept of racing. But at the end of the day, what it boils down to is this: you can be entirely without a single lap where you’re the “fastest car”, but if your average lap time is better than everyone else’s, you cross the finish line first. And at the end of the day, nobody remembers the “Fastest Car of Lap 143″; they remember the “Piston Cup Champion”: me.

The Gang’s Favorite Disney Movies hcs!!

Hi y’all!! I just finished watching Up for the billionth time and had a this idea! This is just a short little thing based in modern time! Hope y’all enjoy!!!

P. S. These are my first hcs of the gang! Idk how good it will be as Im still figuring out the characters!!

Darry: Finding Nemo(2003)

he loves this move bc it reminds him of his dad

seriously, he used to think his dad was sooooo overprotective but now that he has to raise his younger brothers he finally understands

it also reminds him to give his brothers a little breathing room

Sodapop: Aladdin(1992)

he relates to Aladdin so much

hes a hopeless romantic and would go to any length for love, and u bet your ass he would say hes a prince just so that he could talk to a girl he thought was beautiful

loves the adventure of the movie and 100% sings “a whole new world” for a month straight at random times after watching it 

plus who doesnt love Robin Williams???

Ponyboy: Bridge to Terabithia(2007)

he loves fantasy movies so terabithia is practically made for him

he relates to jesse hardcore bc his dad and Darry both have very high expectations of them

also relates to jesse bc hes an angsty boi

especially relates to jesse after Johnny dies

Johnny: Meet the Robinsons(2007)

reminds him of how the gang took him in like family and made him feel wanted

its honestly so pure when it comes on tv

he gets all excited and in his head he assigns the characters to all of his friends

it makes him feel comforted that family can be chosen, it doesnt have to be decided at birth

Dallas: Oliver and Company(1988)

i also debated this for johnny but i think this represents dally more

ok so he loves dodger bc hes just like him - he knows his way around the town and acts as a leader for newcomers

he sees oliver as johnny tbh

he feels like the movie represents him and the gang

lets be real he secretly likes the songs

Steve: Cars(2006)

ok this ones not a shocker lmaoooooo

first off, it has cars in it(duh) and he is literally Lightning McQueen bc of his cockiness but also bc he would 100% help his friends out when they needed it

he quoted “cachiga” for a week after watching it and would make soda crack up every time he did lmao

he also listed all the types of cars in the movie

Two-Bit: Peter Pan(1953)

obviously his first movie choice wouldve been any mickey mouse movie

loves peter pan bc he wishes he never had to grow up either

he loves the adventure of it all

feels like the lost boys are similar to the gang bc hes always trying to keep them young at heart

also relates to tinker bell bc he too would die if he wasnt getting enough attention lmfaoooooo

BONUS:

Darry, Soda, and Pony would all love Brother Bear(2003) especially after their parents died bc it made them feel a little less alone in their current situation
