i feel bad for the band cause at the end of every tour the fans always get super sentimental (which at a show a few days ago matty said not to get sentimental cause they will be coming back soon) and it makes the band probably feel like they can never take a break. they’ll come back as they always do, as the band they always are. tbh i would rather have a happy, well rested band, who had time to write a good album rather than an exhausted, depressed band with no new album cause they are too busy touring. they need a break and i think it will be just as good for the fans cause during this tour i think people got a little too comfortable and a little aggressive. this is how they cycle always goes tour, take time off, write an album, release an album then tour again. new album, new era, your old friends.

i agree with some of the things you’ve said like ofc everyone will prefer a well rested happy band but at the same time it’s perfectly normal to be sentimental and sad about it yk?

it is the end of an era after all and everyone including the band were sentimental about it

this ending is gonna have an effect on me for like. years. i'm not even joking. the season two ending was just so /fantastic/, from the writing, to the storytelling, to the acting, and i just cannot handle it. it's so devastating because of those factors. it all comes together to make one of the best season finales i've ever seen. okay i'm gonna go back to sobbing now
