What is your states Policy about FMLA Leave of Absence? Because the director is supposedly on STATES FMLA BY THE COMPANY AND IS taking SELFIES on facebook and has updated her STATUS TO RELATIONSHIP. While on the company LOA FMLA
Meaning the director found a sexual partner to have SEX within the organization. SHE DOING AN EMPLOYEE IN A DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT SO DAMN let me get this straight.
TALK ABOUT DESPERATE REBOUND TO MAKE HER EX HUSBAND JEALOUS SO FAST..
BUT WHO WHO WHO THE FUCK!! WANTS TO DO HER..., yuk, gawg, this bitch has a nasty ugly soul on the inside and wow yukky on the outside.
its like our president and the celebrity puppets that market the whole glamour online. LIKE MAINSTREAM MEDIA WITH ITS FAKE NEWS, CNN ALL THAT BULLSHIT FOR LIKES, RATING ETC..SO WHY CANT THIS APPLY TO THIS BITCH OF A DIRECTOR?
WHY CANT WE THINK OUR 2020 ELECTION WAS RIGGED? BIDEN PEOPLE WHO HAS POWER CAN HELP WITH DOMINION SYSTEM, THE BALLOT SYSTEM. BUT DARE WE ASK, YOU WILL BE CENSORED IN UNITED STATES, BANNED , TERMINATED..SO WHY CANT THAT APPLY TO THIS EVIL DIRECTOR IN THE COMPANY!
This single newly divorced bitch gets to have all the people who made it successful in SWAN e company either has found a way to make thier life miserable to quit USING TITLE, POWER HANDED NOT EARNED FROM THE COMPANY. then goes on THE STATES FMLA LEAVE OF ABSENCE ONLY TO GO ON VACATION TAKE STUPID DESPERATE MOM SELFIES ON FACEBOOK.

“Currently, fewer than two-in-ten Americans say they trust the government in Washington to do what is right “just about always” (1%) or “most of the time” (15%). This is among the lowest trust measures in nearly seven decades of polling.”
(Not a surprise, is it?)

Konoha’s leaders though the Uchiha had the means to control Kyubi and yet, they sent them away instead of having them stopping the attack. They had an obvious solution in hand, and still, they preferred to let the beast go rampant, causing death and destruction, ready to sacrifice as many lives as necessary. Just because they though the Uchiha could take the opportunity to end their reign of oppression.
Will of Fire and “greater good” all you want. Unless the “greater good” comes at the price of a remote, unrealistic chance of losing power.

to put a long story short: at the end of ffxiv's base game, literally Directly before the beginning of its first expansion (heavensward), there is a series of quests and story arcs that eventually snowball into an hour-long cutscene in which the entire thing comes to a head in the literal worst way possible. like, "the hero's plans all go horribly wrong and several major characters die onscreen, with others going missing (presumed dead), eventually culminating in the player character being framed for the murder of the leader of a nation-state and being Literally Forced To Flee The Country" wrong.
heavensward leads directly on from this plotline. you arrive at the major location of the expansion in the midst of seeking asylum whilst being a wanted criminal everywhere else in the world right now. it's like. A Whole Thing. the game makes such a big deal out of it all. the fandom does as well. and for good reason!! it's a really good moment!!!!!!
and then roughly 1/3rds of the way into heavensward you find out that literally none of it mattered. nobody important actually died, no changes were actually made to the status quo, and nothing comes of being literally kicked out of the country for (what is implied to be) several in-universe weeks, if not months. None Of It Mattered. None.
TLDR; the bloody banquet is a major, exciting, and very infamous twist that seems like it's going to segway into a MAJOR upheaval of the status quo and some really intriguing ramifications for the story as a whole... and then heavensward does away with literally all of that and practically writes the entire thing off as a waste of time.
you may be able to see why i'm so salty about it.
#also worth noting that the nation-state leader (who's death was The one you were framed for)#was assassinated specifically because she was trying to reform her country's merchantile incredibly corrupt leadership system#into a more bearable democracy that would give voice to the people instead of the greedy scumbags currently in power#one of the members of the syndicate (a group of rich people who at this point have more power than the sultana- her)#tried to kill her bc. well. obviously reformation would mean they wouldnt be in control anymore.#and so her supposed death is the big crux of the bloody banquet#and then. THEN. heavensward goes OUT OF ITS WAY to reveal she is not only ALIVE AND PERFECTLY FINE#(she got drugged with the classic fantasy eternal sleep that looks like death medication)#but that her plan for reformation was ACTIVELY STUPID. she DOESN'T GET TO DO IT. NOTHING ABOUT THE STATE OF UL'DAH CHANGES#THE GAME JUST TELLS YOU BETTER GUYS ARE IN CHARGE NOW AND EXPECTS YOU TO BE FINE WITH THAT?#AS THOUGH THE ORIGINAL PLAN TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM ENTIRELY WAS THE FLAWED PART OF THIS EQUATION?#god. i hate it so much. if you're not gonna change the status quo at least have the balls to kill off a character for christ's sake#i can rant abt it all day. it's just such a travesty on every level#yin-thoughts#ffxiv#also for the record ''bloody banquet'' is a fan term. the whole thing isnt called anything in-universe iirc#it's just a catchy title for an infamous sequence wherein people die at a banquet. you know how it be#it's just. god. something about it is just so utterly vile. the game all but looks nanamo (and to some extent the player) in the eyes#and goes How Dare You Try And Change The System. You're Stupid For Thinking This Could Work.#it feels so disingenuous and mean spirited and now the entire thing just leaves the worst possible taste in my mouth#and it SUCKS. because the bloody banquet scene itself is INCREDIBLE. but the way the game handles it after it happens is just#so bad!! it's so bad!!!! aughhhh it's so so so so so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!#the ffxiv writers are so in love with preserving the norm and so terrified of changing it up and/or killing off established characters#ive ranted abt it before and knowing myself i'll rant about it many a time again. it just sucks man#ffxiv crit

What gets me about GW defenders saying that "Claude siding with Edelgard shows how far he's willing to go to get what he wants, he'll use anyone to further his goals" is that, even if that were accurate to his character... that's not what he does in GW. At all.
Which one of Claude's goals are ever progressed once he sides with Edelgard? And how does siding with Edelgard, specifically, accomplish said goal?
Maybe... killing Rhea? But all of the reasons he says he wants her gone in this game are either completely unproven or blatantly incorrect - there's no proof of the Church forcing arranged marriages, Crests do not force obligations onto those that have them (which Claude himself literally proves), and the Church is helping Dimitri restore Duscur - a foreign nation - meaning they are actively willing to help fulfill Claude's main goal that he came to the officer's academy to achieve.
And... that's it! That is the only possible thing that even POTENTIALLY helps Claude's dreams, and taking a five-second look at it shows that it actually does nothing at all to help anything. But in the meantime? Claude weakens Faerghus through agitating Sreng and invading it himself, forcing Dimitri to fight a three front war; he actively helps Edelgard get herself out of a messy situation, even though not helping her and letting her die would have actually helped him and would have actually been him using her like people keep saying he's trying to do; he and Holst even admit that by the end of the war Edelgard is going to make a vassal state of Leicester after taking the lion's share of Faerghus' territory for themselves, which Leicester can't do anything about because of Adrestia's far stronger military. He is the one saying that! He is the one pointing out that that is going to happen! And yet he just keeps going anyway!
He is the one getting used. Very blatantly, and very extensively. Claude walked himself into a trap and lied to himself into thinking he's the one with the upper hand, which somehow managed to convince a large portion of the fanbase too. There's no gray morality here, there's no cunning being showcased, Claude is just an evil stupid tool
#clyde discourse#doing a read over for what i have for the GW rewrite and just. man.#like. it's hard to even like Clyde as a villain because he is just so incomprehensively incompetent in literally everything he does#once Part 2 hits#like imagine if he helped EdeckyWecky up to the point where she'd ACTUALLY die without his help... and he doesn't give it#he lets her die and lets the Empire crumble without leadership#but Dimitri can't take advantage of that because he still has to deal with Sreng and the Alliance#meanwhile Clyde is sneaking in more and more Almyran forces through Nader manipulating Mr. King of Almyra#until he has enough to take on the weakened Kingdom and force it under submission through the constant pressure he's forcing it under#not through brute force but just through wearing them down to the point where they just can't keep going#and in his zeal to conquer Fodlan he fails to recognize that he's just become Shahid; someone who wants to become king no matter the cost#like imagine it's never said outright but that THIS is how power corrupts once genuinely good people#they're so focused on getting to the end point that they gradually care less and less about how red their path to that end point is#until oops everyone is either dead; too scared/unable to fight back; or are also swept up in the mindset of By Any Means Necessary#THAT'D BE A NEAT VILLAIN. even if it's not *Claude* at all that is a villain i could get behind!#but people keep insisting that 1) Clyde isn't a villain (he is) that 2) he's doing the right thing (he's not)#and that 3) he's in any way compelling (he's just brown Eddy Geddy but stupid)

"Things were more exciting under Lord Snapcase," someone ventured.
"Yes, right up until the point when your head fell off."
"The trouble is," said Mr. Boggis, "that the job makes people mad. You take some chap who's no worse than any of us and after a few months he's talking to moss and having people flayed alive."
"Vetinari isn't mad."
"Depends how you look at it. No one can be as sane as he is without being mad."

more vesper lore/world building: the company that made them was an independent rnd lab who wanted to make revolutionary weapons for profit. after vesper's escape, investors went "oh shit, I want nothing to do with a runaway DRAGON" and pulled their investments. the company was liquidated shortly after, and is now completely defunct. vesper does not have to worry about being hunted down and reclaimed by any sort of organization. but there are other hardlight wyvern prototypes, whose whereabouts are largely unknown. Vesper might unknowingly have a nemesis in one of them.

Boris Johnson's criminal abuse of political power as foreign secretary and prime minister is clearly shown by his misconduct in public office; obstruction of justice; breach of duty and contempt of Parliament. #AI Llewelyn Pritchard 30 Oct 2024
In summary, Boris Johnson's leadership style, marked by hypocrisy, lack of integrity, abuse of power, failure to take responsibility, chaotic governance, incompetent appointments, communication failures, and erosion of institutional trust, all contributed significantly to the erosion of trust in his government. #AI #Perplexity #DeepAI #ChatGPT4o Llewelyn Pritchard 28 October 2024

The way conservative theology both weaponizes the panopticon theory (both through the concept of omniscient divinity and through a tangible community which is under charge of holding one another accountable) and compounds it generationally without having to lift a finger is so interesting to me. I've never seen anything quite like thousands upon thousands of church-goers policing their own thoughts in order to deny the self so loyally while the tax-free property they're communing on increases their profits every time a member is blessed or grows to be more selfless increases their tithes and offerings.

Tories still don't have a clue what the British public want and need from politicians.
It's "all about them", not the best interests of the country and the majority of people.
