There is something so captivating about gaining higher ground. Teddy looked out over the braided West Matukituki River as he worked his way up a nearby ridgeline. Can you blame him for wanting to sit here watching the day drift by?

My current obsession is building a huge @tumblr hashtag directory. Like, I've literally dropped everything to work on the project. The goal is to list all popular hashtags, and even obscure ones that I can find, and create listings that can help people to more broadly explore Tumblr content. This directory will be posted at bliptype.com when it's ready. It's going to be awhile though.

I am hoping that with the work I am doing in collecting hashtags and making links to them in my directory, that I will be able to mass edit the list to create matching directories with links for other networks (Twitter, Facebook, IG, etc.). I think this could be very beneficial for content curators like myself, and for the general use of curious web surfers wanting to perhaps explore and find new interests in content on social networks.

I am happy that Tumblr offers the feature that allows you to follow hashtags, and that it has a hashtag suggestion feature built into it's blogging system. These features are the backbone to this directory project. Without these features, my work would take much longer than it already has so far.
