Standing on the central station of Incheon, you were busy reading the latest news. You were going to take the next train to Seoul which was in half an hour. Tapping your foot against the ground impatiently, you were reading the news article about Jichang kwak who ‘suddenly’ passed away. Scrolling through the article almost the 3rd time in the past few minuted you scanned the words. Nothing made sense at all. Jichang wasn’t a weak man, nor was he a careless man. So why would someone target him when he wasn’t even the king of Seoul anymore but of Chuncheong? A place that many did not care for at all? Thinking about it was terrifying. Not only did they know a lot about jichang as a gang member, but they were strong enough to kill him.

The harsh and loud scraping of the train gliding against the rails ringing in your ears, the sound of many people talking all felt a little overwhelming at the moment. But what was there to do? It was strange. Everything seemed out of place. Jichang was a honorable man even if you didn’t often cross paths. He was respectful and did care more for his family than for the greed of taking over the territory of the other kings of the 1st generation. It was just so heartbreaking for a man who was finally making a turn for his life. Even if he was a gang member. He was still a man who cared a lot for his brother. Hell he even cared a lot for the other kings such as Seongji.

‘I thought we agreed you wouldn’t show your face in this place again?’ A man with a blonde dyed mullet and black roots asked you. He wore rather fashionable clothing and a chain around his neck. He looked like a kpop idol…you almost mistook him for DG but with another style..not that you’d say it out loud.

The man waved in front of your face. Seemingly to get you to pay attention. ‘Hellooo i asked you something Y/N’ the man said seeming a little irritated that you didn’t answer his question. Strange. He knew your name. Yet you didn’t know him, not at the top of your head. ‘Who are you?’ You asked him back a little puzzled. The man seemed absolutely floored at your question, almost offended even. His face switched with irritation, from narrowed eyes and a scowl to dropping open his jaw and having wide eyes. ‘It’s me! The king of Incheon!’ The man said pointing to his own face. ‘How could you ever forget my handsome face?’ He asked you back, offended at your lack of recognition for him. ‘….James?…’ you said slowly and hesitantly, recalling the events to meeting a red haired youngster you met a few years ago.

The man stopped moving, completely stunned by the name you just called him. He looked almost deeply hurt and on the verge of crying by which name you just called him before his face distorted in pure rage ‘JAEGYEON! JAEGYEON NA DAMMIT! HOW DARE YOU EVEN COMPARE ME TO THAT FUCKER!’ He said all in one go, catching his breath after followed by his composure. He ran a hand through his bangs and looked at you again all cocky and arrogant. ‘So..what is the former Queen of Incheon doing here? Trying to get back your title?’ He asked you in an almost mocking tone.

Realization dawned over you which made you laugh because of how you totally forgot him, and because of how much he changed. Physically then, mentally he was still the same. ‘Well, even if i was the former queen, i left that life style behind a long time ago. Why did you think you won anyway?’ Jaegyeon stiffened a little. Are you implying that you let him win? How humiliating…But he decided to play it off for now. ‘So..what are you doing here?’ He asked you a little hesitant but mixed with curiosity. ‘I’m going to Seoul, taking the train. Why?’ You asked him back. A little suspicious by the questioning which made him scoff. ‘I could drop you off myself. No need to take the train.’ Jaegyeon offered, sounding more cocky than kind. ‘No way, i’d rather take the train than be seen in that junk of yours.’ That seemed to piss him off as his face scrunched up in anger before he started insulting you, spewing all kinds of nonsense and walking away to his junk car. Muttering a soft ‘stupid girl’ under his breath, secretly hoping you’d hear him.

It was weird, since you two were around the same age. But then again, it’s not like you’d care if he said something like that to you. You just waved back and stepped into the train that had arrived in the mean time, leaving Jaegyeon alone with the weird interaction he just had with you. He couldn’t help but wonder when he’ll see you again and confess. If he’ll even have the balls to do so.

Genuinely so real that Warriors is such a badly-written series (let's not kid ourselves, it was always an uninspired cash grab since Into The Wild) that very few characters are "nuanced" or "complex" in any real sense even by children's media standards. Thank you for saying it bc it bugs me how a lot of fans (especially outside Tumblr) talk about nuance/complexity that isn't really there as an excuse for awful characterization.

While I'm here, question about your pinned post, if that's ok: Why do you dislike Jayfeather? I haven't reread PO3/OOTS in a while and the main things I remember about him are the ableism (unbearable) and his friendship with Briarlight (nice) so I'm interested to hear your take.

yeah, warriors has always been more conceptually interesting to me than genuinely so. its like. writing prompts the series lol.

jayfeather is just very mean and nasty to people who dont do anything to him, especially as a doctor. iirc, cats are shown to avoid getting medical treatment because theyre afraid of him. he was seriously considering letting breezepelt die because he didnt like him. thats really scary!! thats genuinely fucked up that as a doctor, as somebody with power over peoples lives, hes THAT bitter and biased. he shittalked leafpool at her own funeral, he was nasty to twigkit, a traumatized orphan, he outed mothwings atheism AT A GATHERING to win an argument.

and then theres that disgusting debacle where squirrelflight was nervous about her pregnancy (you know, the woman who raised him, nervous because she just found out she could gte pregnant after being lied to for years), and so frequently checked in with him. he got so annoyed that when squirrel went into labor and daisy came to fetch him, he had to be dragged to the nursery because he decided squirrel didnt know what she was talking about.

squirrels labor was notably difficult, with a stillbirth and one other child dying soon after.

Rowan is immortal theory

So this is a crack theory that ive made a post about before but im going to lay it all out here with my evidence. I posed this a while ago before anything was known of Rowan, but ive been on the look out for lore hints. Most of my "proof" of this theory is from the Cantripped shoppin episode as my memory is shit and I just watched that one. If anyone has any evidence for or against my claim, please share it!

The immortal i am using here is not "impervious to all wounds" but more so a freezing in age kind of immortal, like a vampire but more vulnerable. So basically like a Keepers of the lost cities elf.

So firstly, Rowan has mentioned, or more accurately, Beck has mentioned about Rowan that "she sleeps more heavily for someone who is used to travelling." I believe this is because she has been alive for so long, she has much confidence in her immortality. She doesnt NEED to be careful.

Now onto the new stuff.

In the shopping episode multiple things have caught my attention. Beck says that Rowan is remembering skills not necessarily learning them. If she has lived a long life, then it makes sense that she would have forgotten old stuff. Like riding a bicycle or flexing a muscle. Also she's fine with not being remembered, despite being a bard. A reason for this is simply she's immortal. She wants to come and go and travel without her age being questioned. She cant exactly escape the watchful eye if everyone knows of a bard named Rowan

Currently watching into the dome and just got to season 2 and just gotta say this show sucks alot lmao (Did enjoy season 1 tho) Like ive only seen the first episode of it and in this one episode it:

- Forgot a major plot point

-Introduced a character that is very important to the plot (He hasnt been seen anywhere before, he is shy >-<)

-what do you mean the dome turned white as a cliff hanger? undo that shit now

-Main bad guy is still here? Just make the dome force them good or whatever

- "Hey guy the entire town has been trying to find and hang cause we thought you murdered a bunch of people that was a plot point for the entire later half of season 1, Lets be friend and completely forget everything even tho we still havent learned the truth and its only episode 1"

-" Hey why are you trtying to steal my car and arent you the guy the entire town has been trying to murder cause we were lied to and still dont know the truth in season 1? Huh what do you mean youve never seen me before ive always been here and am gonna be important character anyway MAGNETIC WAVES I HAVE BEEN STYDYIGNT THE DOME THIS ENTIRE TIME"

-Main bad guys son was fully agreeing with him at the end of season 1? Nuh uh cause i said so

-The dome is now magnetic! so it effects peoples brain with magnetic waves!!!!! Huh what do you eman it dosent work like thta stfu

-What do you mean we are basically back to nothing happening? Lady that might have been born from egg

"Lets build in the center of the dome!!! What? but in the first season the center was somewhere else? Uhhhhhhh the magnetics field changed it or whatever or magic.

-Killed a characteer when they CLEARLY had time to jump before the car crushed them and DIDNT FUCKING NEED TO SACRIFICE THEMSELF YOU DUMBASS LIKE YOU 2 WERE LITERALLY ALREADY RUNNING OUT OF THE WAY YOU DIDNT NEED TO PUSH THEM OUT OF THE WAY THAN PROCEED TO STAND PERFECTLY STILL FOR 5 SECONDS

-maybe killed other character (The dome will be mad)

-Season 1: "You need to keep the egg safe" season 2: Egg? What egg? No egg egg never existed"

-Dome: Kill your parents. Them: No >:c Dome: You ahve passed the test well done

Honestly believe the dome has filled with gas and everyone is like just barely there

hoping they fail and just explode in the end (Im gonna watch the rest of the hot garbage as its still entertaining and the dome itself is interesting)

First season also wasnt the best but i think i noticed these with the switch to season 2

I can just tell this show prob just suddenyl ends with alot of plotholes
