Hii everyone!

I’m Cibi, but you can also call me Kiki or Kia =^-^=

Decided to try and open an art blog here on Tumblr since it feels like a safe and pressure-free place for an artist (unlike IG and TT *sigh*)

I’ll try to find a style and be consistent, but I’m still exploring and experimenting so I’ll prob post random sketches and bookmarks and so on as well xD

There’s no Place like Home. (Oneshot Fiction)

Fandom: Road96

Characters: John, Fanny Alex.  

Context: John is in the middle of delivery when Fanny contacts him via the cibi. Despite the long hours of driving, he still must do; he wants only one thing: to go home. Fortunately, Fanny is there to keep him company during the trip, because fatigue begins to be felt.

Several more hours. Several more hours before returning home. See his wife. His son. His bed. And everything that belongs to him. He couldn't wait to finally open the front door, hug his wife and sit comfortably until the next orders... But for now, he had to finish the ones he had in progress. John had made almost 3/4 of his deliveries but he still had some left. And fatigue was beginning to make itself felt. He had been making his deliveries for 3 days, and he was resting quite little. And then the routine also contributed to all this.

He delivered everything all over the country. And especially products from neighbouring countries. Since the opening of the borders, trade has flowed in. And products that Petria did not have, other countries supplied them. For money or Petrian products of course. Many things have changed in Petria, the economy is gradually recovering... But it will be many more years, before the country is equal to the others in terms of competition. But at least it caught up on the novelties and others. Cinemas, libraries, hospitals, a whole bunch of new shops and buildings have appeared. For once, we can say that Petria is finally a country. John yawned when he received a call on his cibi. He took the handset and activated it to start the conversation.

“Hello?”

“Hi sweety! How are you?” responds a woman voice who was no other than Fanny.

“Hey there Mama Bear. I’m fine, just a little tired by all those deliveries I must do. I can’t wait to be done with it.”

“Do you still have a lot to do?”

“This is my last one. After that, I can go home. After 3 days of hell, I would be finally with you and Alex.”  

“Speaking of Alex...” replied Fanny before hearing John sighs.

“What did he do this time?” he asks.

“He got into a fight with three of his classmates today. The latter would have laughed at him about...us. Alex came home with a black eye.”

“And no one saw anything??”

“No. They beat him in the back of the school after class. He is sitting in his room with an ice pack. He...he didn’t want to tell me who it was.”

“We're going to have to talk about it. It can't go on like this.”

“And what do you want us to do John? we can't do anything if Alex doesn't want to tell us about it! And you know how he is...”

“So, we do nothing and let him get hit? No way! And if I have to travel in person to solve the problem, I will do it. No one hits my son, whether he is from me or not.”

“John...”

“Fine. I'll talk to him when I'll be at home. But I don't promise you to not sit idly by afterwards.”

John didn't really like what was going on at the school where Alex was. Since he had entered, he had become the target of his classmates. 3 of them to be more precise. At first it was just mockery that he is a computer genius. But there it began to take proportions a little too violent for his taste. The problem is that if he tells the director, Alex may get into even more trouble. This is not a hypothesis to be ruled out. While he was thinking about how he was going to broach the subject with Alex, John felt sleep coming little by little. He struggled not to close his eyes, yet he couldn't help yawning. A yawning that unfortunately was not discreet enough for Fanny not to hear it through the cibi.  

“You're exhausted. Did you sleep last night?” asks Fanny.

“...No. But listen...” starts John.

“John! We already talk about it! You can’t do deliveries like that without sleeping! What I'll do if you have an accident??”

“Relax! This is not the first time... And it won't be the last. I just have to tap into my reserve of chi, and it should be fine.”

“Your reserve of chi will not be the solution to your problem to your insomnia. And that's not going to save you if you end up in a ditch! John seriously, you must think about stopping more often to sleep... I don't care if you take one or two more days, but I want to see you home alive, not in a coffin. You understand?”

“Yes, I understand. Excuse me honey. I promise you that I will be more careful, and that I will sleep more often between my deliveries. By the way, it seems that Flores wants to restore the real national day?” replied John.  

“Yes. She believes that people have the right to celebrate the birth of their country. And not the one Tyrak did every year. When I think about it... This guy was thinking only of himself. To the point of putting his person before the very day of the foundation of his country.”

“I told you. So? Did she asked you to protect her? After all, you're the chief of police now. And there are still people who support Tyrak regardless.”

“Me too. I’ve to go. I have to do some errands for dinner tonight. John, remember to rest before you leave. OK?”

“I will. See you soon my love. I love you. And kiss Alex for me.”

“I will. I Love you too. I can’t wait to see you again. Bye...”

And it was with these last words that the conversation was cut off between the two lovers. John couldn't help but smile, he sometimes wonders what his life would have been like today if Conny was still here. Knowing the young woman, she would have solved their children's school problems in her own way... with fists. Because despite his warm-blooded temper, John was the most... diplomats of both. This is what earned him his nickname of Papa Bear by the way, in addition to his last name. But he was mostly Conny's Papa Bear. And today, he is Fanny's one. Deep down, he wondered what Conny might think up there, if she was happy to see him rebuild his life, get back on track, and just be happy too. Deep down he knew it was the case.

He finally arrived at his destination after four hours, the sun began to set to give way to the clear night dotted with stars. The last delivery boxes had just been put away, the delivery note signed, and John had only one thing left to do, find a place to put his truck for the night. Fortunately, a rest area was only a few kilometres from his position. So, he went there, drawing on his last reserves of Chi to stay awake.

The holder of the rest area, although a little sinister, pointed to a free place for him and his truck, while paying attention to his words, wanting to avoid confronting the beast in front of him. John thanked him, looking at him a little while shrugging his shoulders, he was far too tired to get upset tonight. He only wanted one thing, to go home. But for now, he was hungry and thirsty.

He had a burger with fries, accompanied by a soda, and was able to sit quietly in his truck, while turning on the radio. As soon as he gets home, he will have to clean up Mr. Grizzly, otherwise Fanny may not like it. He couldn't wait...After all, there’s no place like home, to feel better.  

* A robbery took place today in a small bank of our country. The suspects, both dressed as S&M roleplays, managed to steal $80 and then evade the police. A robot portrait has been sent to us but, due to a technical problem, we will not be able to show it to you. *

“Ha. It's always the same and we never manage to get our hands on them. And yet they are not very clever apparently.” Said John taking a bite. “I would be in their place, I would wait for the national day, the police will not be able to arrest them since they will not have the right for this day. Finally... I can't wait to go home...”

John finished his meal and got out of the truck to throw his garbage in the trash. He took the opportunity to look at the stars while smiling.

“Good night...Conny.” he said before getting back to his truck.

People, whatever they were, reunite for a day to celebrate and as united as ever. I want that union back. And I’ll do everything to it. Hi! Oh my goodness! I wrote that so long ago, but I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Not many Yowamushi Pedal fans are around here anymore so this makes me so happy! Tumblr is so weird with asks, but I’m glad this one came through! Thank you so much for reading my stuff and the support! I totally did the same thing as you. Once I finished season two, I knew I needed more Kinjou so I wrote Can’t it be You <3 Kinjou really is the best! I wish he was in more of the later seasons. How has their childhood affected the way they view an aspect of their life (people, education, society, themselves, etc)? Kind of accidentally killed her parents and then her aunt who raised her and then was an orphan raised by people who used her charming personality for nefarious purposes so- She think she's really dumb bc she has no education! But she's not actually terribly dumb, and she thinks people are very black and white coded until she actually learns about them. Go!'d, thanks chibi :)

The plan is underway. There is not a minute to lose. If they fail to stop these trucks, Anna, Sonya and Fanny will be lost. They know what truck they are in; all they have to do is isolate it. The problem is that it is surrounded by others like a shield protecting a Roman soldier. But that's not going to stop the Sanchez brothers. Let alone Stan.  

John sped up with his truck, Mr. Grizzly. He must pass in front of them to block them and force them to change their way. But that's easier said than done. However, it is not impossible. This is the practical side when you are in a desert. Apart from sand and a few pebbles, nothing can prevent you from going off the road. Shooting began from the side of Yung's soldiers. “I'm trying! But impossible to advance between bikers and shooting! If they break us a single tire, it's fucked up, we'll be out of the race! and unfortunately it is not John's truck that will be able to catch them!” responds Stan.  

“What do we do??”

“...Hey!” Stan replied shouting at Jarod, John and Alex. “We must isolate the truck where the girls are being held from others! For that you will have to slow them down! Go ahead and then shoot them! But avoid hitting the target truck!”

“And then what will we do?? Even if we manage to isolate him and make him change direction, he will still try to escape us!" Said Alex.  

“Don't worry about it! That will be my problem.”

“...OK! but be careful! Hang on both of you it's going to shake!” said John to Jarod and Alex, before going faster.

The truck went off the road to speed up on land to overtake the trucks. In the truck where they were being held, the three women witnessed everything, Anna continuing to hold her pocket mirror in the sunlight.  

“But what do they do?? Why do they leave your brothers behind us??” asks Anna.  

“And Why John goes off the road? It’s dangerous!” said Fanny.  

“Don't worry about it. They know what they are doing. They will get us out of there. All we have to do is help them by making sure they don't lose sight of us.” said Sonya determined.  

Anna and Fanny exchanged glances before nodding. Anna held the mirror in position while Fanny did the same, using her police officer's badge. Everything was set up for her to show them where they were. Sonya watched her brothers chasing them behind them. She saw their determination on in their eyes... at least she felt it.  

“Be careful boys... I beg you.” Said Sonya, frowning, worried.  

John's truck finally passes the convoy and returns to the road ahead. Jarod and Alex go down to the back and prepare to open the doors to shoot. Jarod looks at the young teenager who arms the nail gun.  

“Stay well sheltered. and avoid approaching. They won't hesitate to kill you. They have no mercy.” said Jarod.  

“Hey, I'm maybe 14, but I'm not a baby anymore. I am ready to do anything to save my mother.  But...thanks for your advice and your concern. Be careful you too.” said Alex.

“Hey! Can you hear me both??" Said John in the talkie.  

*5 On 5 buddy! * Said Mitch.  

“I managed to get past them! Let's start the assault! Get ready in the back!”

*Good! Listen to me carefully! The goal is to make them deviate from their trajectory and make them go on the 82! And to isolate the truck where they are from others! So as soon as you see a road going on the left, you do whatever it takes to block them and let them go in that direction! once caught up in it, it will be up to me and Stan to play! Got it?!*

“Got it! Jarod and Alex are in place! They will soon attack! As soon as they're on the 82, go for it!” replied John before talking in the cibi who was connected to the back of the truck. “OK! the plan is as follows; We must isolate the truck in the center of the others and force it to take Route 82 when we are there! If we get there, Stan and Mitch will take over and chase him! On our side, we must slow down the other trucks that are not necessary! Do not hit the target and avoid touching the bike of the brothers who is behind! If they ever puncture a tire or die, it's over! Got it?”

“Got it John!” said Alex.  

“...Got it.” responds simply Jarod.  

Jarod walks towards the back door of the truck, preparing to shoot. He glanced at Alex who nodded, indicating that he was ready. Jarod nodded in turn before opening the door with a sharp blow and starting to shoot, occasionally sheltering himself from the bullets. Yung's soldiers fired from both sides, finding themselves ambushed by the truck and the Sanchez brothers. While Jarod and Alex fired while protecting themselves, Stan and Mitch dodged bullets while trying to stay at a safe distance. Bikers who got a little too close quickly became acquainted with Mitch's crowbar, or otherwise known as "the beast".

“I warned you! Whooooa!" Said Mitch clinging to his seat, avoiding in the time a bullet. “That was close...”

“Are you okay Mitch??” said Stan.  

“I am! That was a close call! Stay focus on the road don’t worry about me brother!”  

“Take my shotgun if you must! It’s out of the question that we get annoyed longer by these guys!”

“Okay! Thanks!”  

The bikers were eliminated one by one by Mitch. Meanwhile in front of the convoy, the shooting continued. Some trucks continued to drive at the same speed, but others began to slow down. The reason? Their tires were flat. And that's thanks to Alex and his gun nails. The way is starting to clear for our two brothers in the back. But unfortunately, not enough for them to intervene. They gradually arrived at the intersection that leads to the 82. That's where it's all going to come down. And they must act quickly. They must eliminate the trucks to isolate the one they are interested in.  

“Okay we arrived at the 82! It's almost time for you to enter the scene. Get ready!” Said John before talking to the cibi. “Jarod! Alex! Hang on it may shake a little!”

Without further explanation, John made a rather risky manoeuvre, blocking the road with his truck. Yung's soldiers had no choice but to take the left road, and thus the 82. Of the entire convoy, only three trucks, including the one holding the girls prisoner, took this route. The others are stopped, their tires completely flat.  

“Okay It's better than nothing! Get hooked up Mitch, let's go for it!” said Stan before going faster with the bike.  

He rushed at full speed, dodging the bullets of Yung's soldiers. Mitch took his brother's shotgun and started shooting at the tires to incapacitate the last two trucks that were bothering them. He somehow managed to get into the sidecar with the shotgun in order to better aim at the tires. He managed to get one of the trucks to go backwards but had more difficulty with the other.  

“Stan, you have to move a little to the side! I can't aim for the other truck!” said Mitch.  

“Pass me the gun! I'll take care of it!” said Stan.  

Mitch gave the shotgun to Stan, who grabbed it with one hand and drove with the other. He concentrated on aiming at the truck's tires and without warning, shot right in the mile. The truck disappeared behind them leaving only the target truck in the line of fire. The truck will soon arrive at the end of the road. They're going to be stuck. And there Stan will be able to let off steam. And he's not going to be asked.

“Okay. Now it's between you and me.” said Stan.  

Stan aimed at the wheels of the truck and fired the first time, hitting one of the tires. The truck starts to slow down but still manages to keep the distance. Stan aims again at the other tire and pulls. Unfortunately, he misses his target.  

“Daggnabit...Focus Stan...focus.” He said to himself.  

He reloaded his gun with one hand and aimed at the tire again. This time... it touches. The truck slows down even more and ends up stopping right in front of the sign indicating that the road is closed. Stan and Mitch went down at the same time as the soldiers. But they didn't have time to react when Mitch kicked each of them with a crowbar. Stan reloaded his shotgun and aimed at the padlock blocking the back door of the truck.  

“Girls, back off!!!” Said Stan.  

He heard the girls moving in the truck and shot into the padlock blocking the door, breaking his last. He opened the door with a sharp stroke.  

“You asked for a background robber?” He said to the girls.  

“Stan !!!” said Sonya jumping on him, hugging him.  

“It’s okay...I'm here...I’m here.” He replied hugging as tightly as he can.  

“Oh, thank god you’re safe...” said Mitch, sighing in relief.  

Stan helped Fanny and then Anna downstairs. He looked at her for a few moments without letting go of his hand. She is so thin compared to hers... It's cute.  

“Are you okay?” he asks.  

“Yes...thanks to you and Mitch. Thank you.” Anna responds.  

“My...My pleasure.”

The two looked each other straight in the eye for a few seconds before looking away, laughing embarrassedly. John's truck arrived moments later, and Alex ran into his mother's arms, whom she hugged tightly. Then she kissed John while hugging him. Jarod put his hat back on, while lighting his cigarette and pulling on it. He looked at the two soldiers knocked out on the ground.  

“What do we do with them?” he asks.  

“We leave them there. That will get the message across. If they get away with it.” Said Stan.

“Stan is right. We'd better go back. I think we've all had our dose of adrenaline for today.” said Fanny.  

Everyone acquired before getting back on their vehicle. Mitch let Anna get on the bike behind Stan while he got into the sidecar. The others got into the truck. And everyone left the scene to return to the hideout. As for the two soldiers knocked out on the ground. They can pray that others will join them quickly.  

Because in Petria, as in any desert country...Vultures prowl.

I haven't finished Zelda Tears of the Kingdom yet and between us, just like Hogwarts Legacy, I don't want to finish it so quickly. Probably before the apocalypse, weird protagonist after an ipnosys session meets tutturu girl. It's December. They meet with trans girl & neko girl. Weird protagonist is just a protagonist now, he goes to university, he's in a tennis circle & he goes out to date groups.

They go to the lab, protagonist hasn't been there in a while. There's also perv hacker, part time girl & a new entry, cosplayer girl.

Protagonist & part time girl talks, she wants him to time travel again & change the apocaliptic future she lived. He refuses.

The lab group search for the kochel catalogue, the numbers Mozart assign to his compositions. /Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart/. Protagonist receive a call from Amadeus asking for help. Reading steiner is active, thus means someone is time travelling.

leaving another home

and eventually, i got used to changes, to being comfortable to what is temporary and being happy about having a new journey

yesterday, was another fun usual day at CIBI. i had to report to work for our weekly monito monita. it was then when i realized how lucky i am to be surrounded by genuine people. i’ve been with CIBI peple for about 6 months now and i am nothing but grateful, it was not perfect, there will always be lapses, but the people, from HR, my boss, Sir Don, to my CS Team down to the Tele Verif Team and the whole ops team of PI, it was all worth the stay. the respect and “home” feels they gave me, i couldnt be more thankful.

when i arrived in the office, the first question asked to me was “nag retract ka na?” and was also asked by our HR if im 100% decided already about leaving. to be honest, it felt good, knowing that i am valued in the company. the people are so nice to me, i never felt like an outcast. the randon small talks with my co CS in between shifts are also the best, the lunch breaks, everything!

as i was walking along Ayala, on my way home, i couldnt help but think, will i get the same treatment in my next company? will i be this happy with the next people i’ll be working with? i am quiet worried tbh. i took the chance, it was a perfect moment last night, walked along ayala ave, watching the night lights while slowing down like the heavy traffic. thinking about future plans, my long term goals in life.

i felt torn for a few minutes, i actually thought of “what if i retract” will i be happy in the long run? and after a few minutes of thinking, i realized how big world is, that nothing is temporary, that it is okay to leave what is comfortable to set new beginnings. that being sad is okay, that i should always look forward to what i want for my future, that it is more important to make my long term goals happen.

i always believed that i am brave, that i can do things if i want to. that i am my own gennie.
