How did you sleep last night?
This is another post from my mobile device so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors. If you find any you can simply use the comment section or I'll try to add a contact us page today. It depends on the amount of torture I have to endure  I'm guessing if you're a normal pain patient you probably have some disruption with sleep patterns, maybe you take a sleeping aid maybe you don't. If you're not a pain patient and just have insomnia then maybe you can understand at least the sleep aspect of what I'm about to write How do I sleep? What are my sleep patterns? I'll give you last night as an example. I was in so much pain, and when I say pain .. Try to visualize this : Imagine you're being tortured but guess what? You can't die. Well, you could but the sadist physo that's torturing you have all of the equipment necessary to bring you back to life. First they start by putting gasoline on your spine then light it up  They make sure it stays lit by doing whatever they have to do  Now they move to your right side  Starting from your right shoulder down to to your upper right arm, right before your elbow, they use some high voltage device to send electrical sparks and immense hypersensitivity to water, wind, clothing . Don't even think of touch but imagine if you can't even put on clothing to cover the area how in the world will you be able to get comfortable? Let's keep going because that's not all .. Not even the half of it  Hold on to the image if you were able to capture a picture with your mind. Down to the lower hand - you know where your wrists are? Imagine it's getting sawed off while simultaneously you're getting stabbed with about a billion extremely sharp knife tips  Maybe a few hundred or so of those knives will pierce all the way through and one of the worse part? The person torturing you is pushing the knife in and twisting it  You know what's worse than that? IT NEVER STOPS! I know my torturer all too well, it's name is RSD / CRPS Type II. FYI before I continue I'm still feeling what I'm describing so I'm really having a hard time writing this article and I'm not comfortable showing myself like this publicly... Maybe I'll get there but not today, not now. The one thing I'd like to add is the burning feeling I described on my spine .  Well, that's all over . Again NON STOP For a normal person when you're hurting or in pain you would find a comforting position that either lessens or eliminate the pain. I don't have that luxury. Sleeping Aids / Sleeping Pills I am on the strongest narcotics and the highest dosage that's legally allowed. Pain medications suppress your breathing, I don't need anything else to add to that or I will go into respiratory arrest; I'll stop breathing and will require a respirator to breathe  That's a whole other topic all together and I am digressing from the point of the article. What I do use and it helps sometimes is medical Marijuana. In FL this became legal a little while ago and I do have a MMJ card, the "weed card"  As I said this helps sometimes but pain like I'm experiencing now and like I'm writing about - You can smoke a whole weed plantation and you'd still be suffering. I'll talk about Medical Marijuana in another post but for the purposes of this one just know that it cannot help when you're at the level I'm describing. What are my sleep patterns? Last night - none The night before - 2 hours but it wasn't two consecutive hours  it was 15 minutes here and there The past week - I can't give you that number because it's highly dependent on the amount of pain I'm feeling. My normal sleep pattern for 10 years, this was before Marijuana was legal, I would be lucky to get 3 conservative hours of sleep a night. Since my doctor advised to pick up medical Marijuana it's been okay. I can't believe that some nights I even get up to 5 consecutive hours of sleep  Which is a miracle in itself for me I'm sorry I can't continue writing anymore. Remember this was done on my phone and I have one working hand  It literally took me 3 hours to get this far  That's between taking a break for the pain flares and trying not to loose my mind. RSD aka CRPS{Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome} aka Causalgia {RSD TYPE II} is one those diagnosis that you hope to never…EVER hear from your doctor.  What you think you know about pain {physical} will change forever. If you’re a religious person I can almost guarantee you that your faith will be tested. If you’re an atheist – you’d most likely start believing in GOD. If you don’t believe in anything -= you’ll count the days till you die or, in most cases, end up killing yourself.  YES – the pain is that bad! This condition’s has been nicknamed the “suicide disease” for an obvious reason. Mentally Healthy people don’t try to kill themselves for fun. It’s that bad where Death can seem like the ONLY choice. RSDKILLS.COM is here to Educate, SPREAD AWARENESS,tell my story and even yours! All factual information will be sourced so you can verify.  In the event of my demise I would like this website to live on along with my legacy. This website contains raw material of suffering and pain that you've most likely never seen or heard before BUT it also shows you that there is hope...maybe not a cure but at least to make people aware, make them know what we go through and hopefully we can inspire some positive change.
RSD/CRPS FACT SHEET
WHAT IS RSD/CRPS? Reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSD) is a disorder that causes lasting pain, usually in an arm or leg, and it shows up after an injury, stroke, or even heart attack. But the severity of pain is typically worse than the original injury itself. Doctors don’t know exactly what causes it, but they are able to treat many cases. The term reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome is actually not a name that doctors use anymore. It’s an older term used to describe one form of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). RSD is sometimes called Type I CRPS, and it’s caused by injury to tissue with no related nerve damage. READ MORE >>>
