Okay I used to think chinooks were exclusively military helicopters, since that's the only context I'd ever seen them in, but it turns out that there's a civilian version, the Boeing-Vertol 234??

In 1986, one of these, G-BWFC operated by British International Helicopters (privatized successor of BA Helicopters, hi maggie) crashed into the sea near the Shetland Islands which ended up being the deadliest helicopter accident in British history?????

God i still remember the first time i got to chapter 47 in nno having context for night on the galactic railroad. Like i saw THAT artwork of yoite and miharu on the train that's right before the chapter and was like "ohhh is this a reference to galactic railroad? That's so cool" *remembers what happens* "oh god no please don't-" and then i died
