Ordo Skirata x reader, mention of Mereel and Kal Skirata
Word Count: 1.1k
Warnings: swearing, mention of war, mostly just fluff
A/N: I got punched in the face with this idea and amazed myself with how fast I wrote it lmao hope you enjoy! ❤️
jagyc’kovid: dickhead
shabuir: motherfucker
It was peaceful. The gentle undercurrent of the water rocked the Aay’han, reminding you of a mother rocking her newborn. The co-pilot seat wasn’t the most comfortable but if you sat at an angle, your feet resting on the control panel, you could let your muscles relax enough that you could possibly nap. Your eyes followed the bright, glimmering aquatic life that swam past, watching them shimmer in the sunlight that streamed through the water. The Aay’han was floating off the coast of the capital city, waiting for Sergeant Skirata and Mereel to com for a pickup.
You had been undercover for the Republic for…a long time, gathering intel about the manufacturing of Separatist droids. Life had been fairly normal, well as normal as it could be for a Republic spy until a certain Mandalorian and his small squad of clones came crashing through your front door. Literally. You glanced at the pilot’s chair, the corner of your lips lifting.
Ordo was stretched out in the chair beside you, his long legs crossed at the ankles. His arms were folded over his chest, his head tipped forward until his chin nearly touched his chest. His empty Mandalorian helmet sat on the floor beside his chair and every once in a while, you could hear faint, staticky voices floating from inside. The muted shimmer of the water threw a faint glow over his face; Ordo looked peaceful, his usually tense expression slack, his eyes closed.
He was sleeping. You muffled a chuckle against the back of your hand, carefully lowering your feet to the floor. The co-pilot chair groaned as you stood and you paused, half-standing, to dart your eyes back towards Ordo. He huffed heavily through his nose but otherwise didn’t move.
It took a few minutes of rustling through cabinets as quietly as possible, having to stop a few times when you made too much noise before you finally found a blanket. It smelled a bit musty but it would do. You unfolded it on your back to the cockpit, smirking at Ordo’s sleeping form before you carefully draped the blanket over him. He shifted lazily, his brow wrinkling for a moment and you stood a little straighter and held your breath. Ordo’s lashes fluttered, his dark glassy eyes taking a moment to focus but they quickly lifted to where you stood over him.
“Sorry to wake you,” you murmured with an apologetic smile.
“Wasn’t sleepin’,” Ordo grumbled, dragging himself into a sitting position. The furrow between his brows deepened as he looked down at the blanket pooling in his lap. There was an odd look on his face, one you had seen occasionally in the time you’d spent with him. The innocent, almost confused expression always made your heart ache and it was even worse when he tilted his head back to look up at you.
“I thought you’d be more uncomfortable,” you explained, gesturing to the blanket as you leaned against the back of his chair. Ordo nodded slowly, absently rubbing the fabric between his gloved fingers. “You can try and go back to sleep if you’d like.”
Ordo somehow looked more tense than usual for a moment, before dropping his eyes to the blanket again. “Alright.” For some reason, it surprised you; accidentally falling asleep was one thing but this showed that he trusted you enough to willingly let himself rest.
“Hm, you must really trust me,” you teased. Ordo turned in his chair again and you were suddenly aware of how close he was, his face close enough that you could see the faint freckles on his cheeks. Ordo was always intense but the way he looked at you, bright brown eyes smoldering, made your stomach somersault.
“I do.” He spoke softly like it was a secret but there was no uncertainty in his voice. Your breath caught when he smiled, crooked and boyish, disarmingly charming without even trying. Sometimes you wondered if he was aware of it but based on some of the more…awkward encounters you’d had with him, you were pretty sure it was natural.
“Thank you,” you whispered, meaning it wholeheartedly. Ordo’s smile started to fade but you didn’t miss the way his eyes darted down to your mouth, his tongue poking out to wet his lips before he forced his gaze elsewhere. He cleared his throat quietly and when his eyes found yours again you caught the muted anxiety that flashed across his face.
You had no idea where the confidence came from that had you leaning down, bringing your face even closer to his. Ordo tensed but didn’t pull away, letting the strained silence linger. A shiver zipped up your spine when he tilted his head slowly, his eyes darting between your eyes and your lips. He paused, leaving almost no space between you and him and you could feel his slow, rhythmic breathing against your chin.
“Can I?” he asked softly.
“Please.”
A soft gasp filled the air when he closed the space and you weren’t sure if you made the sound or if he had. The kiss was hesitant, neither of you moving for a moment until one of his large hands closed around your bicep and you melted against him, sighing through your nose. It was clear Ordo didn’t have much experience but he didn’t seem to mind following your lead. He inhaled sharply when your tongue swept over his bottom lip but he quickly caught on, parting his lips.
The low groan from deep in his chest made you shiver, a hand coming to cup the back of his head, your fingers threading through his soft curls.
“Ord’ika? You read me?” You and Ordo jumped so hard at the familiar voice that your heads knocked together, each of you quickly reaching up to rub the now-aching spot. Ordo growled through clenched teeth, twisting around to punch a button on the control panel; despite the pain blooming across your forehead, you barely stifled a laugh.
“What?” he snapped, glaring at the blue hologram that popped up. Mereel tilted his head, arching a brow but there was the hint of a smirk on his face.
“What’d you do to your head?”
“None of your business, jagyc’kovid. What d’ya want?”
“Pickup would be nice,” Mereel sighed with a shrug. He glanced over his shoulder with a badly hidden smirk and winked at who you assumed was Kal.
“Send coordinates,” Ordo grumbled, ending the call without letting Mereel respond. “Shabuir.”
You giggled, biting your lip when Ordo threw a narrow-eyed look in your direction. “Come on, let’s go get them.”
“Should leave 'em,” Ordo huffed, rubbing his forehead one last time before dropping his hands to the panel again and starting the flight sequence. The smile that spread across your face was fonder than you thought possible and you leaned down, pressing a lingering kiss on his cheek. You settled into the co-pilot chair, glancing over at him again with a smirk.
Ordo refused to look at you but there was no denying that his cheeks were a little redder than before.

My Commander
What if a missile is to hit your beloved commander but your're not skilled enough like fucking Obi Wan to deflect it properly.
Pairing: Commander Wolffe x Jedi!GN!Reader
Tags & Warnings: angst, hurt, violence, injury, implied death
Word Count: 786
Author's note: I really wanted to write something spicy, but this little idea came into my mind. Inspired by the unforgetable scene when Obi Wan rescues Cody from the missile. This time it might end not well. I'll hope you enjoy neverless. Not proof-read.
@clonexreaderbingo Square: Jedi

The darkness was surrounding you. Your ears were ringing as you faintly noticed the sound of screams and gunshots around you. You tried to open your eyes slowly and blink, but your body felt numb and you couldn't move your arms or legs while the pain was almost unbearable, threatening to cause you to lose consciousness once again. Suddenly, you heard a muffled and suppressed voice above your face and you felt someone leaning over you. With the last of your strength, you opened your eyes and smiled in relief as you recognized the face of the Clone Commander above you. His typically stern expression was marked by a mixture of concern and anger. You would have probably laughed about his gaze if the pain in your body hadn't paralyzed you. You tried to gather your strength to say something as you suddenly felt a large, rough hand gripping yours firmly, while his healthy and cybernetic eye both stared at you with an uncertain expression. Finally, his suppressed, rumbling voice reached your ears as you desperately tried to keep your eyes open.
"Why?!"
Wolffe had not been happy when he found out that you had been assigned to this mission. Unlike the rest of his Wolfpack, who seemed to hold a fondness for this particular Jedi. While his squad had already accepted you into their little sworn group on the journey to your destination, the Commander had remained silent and serious, watching the whole scene full of disapproval. While the other boys of the pack had always made fun of your uneasy and teasing relationship with their commander, they didn't dare say a word of disrespect when Wolffe was in your presence. You had developed a soft spot for the outwardly intimidating but loyal commander a for quite a while, and at the same time, you always harbored the feeling that he didn't particularly like your loud and enthusiastic personality. The more you attempted to approach Wolffe and build a better relationship with him, the more he closed himself off, and the more biting his remarks towards you became.
When you finally stood on the battlefield deflecting shot after shot from the enemy army, you were horrified to see a hostile projectile flying directly at Wolffe. You immediately realized that he had no chance of defending himself against the missile or even surviving if he was hit, and thereupon didn't hesitate for a second to throw yourself in front of him deflecting the projectile with a desperate swing of your lightsaber. The next moment your body was thrown through the air, struck by the explosion you caused by hitting the projectile in the wrong spot, but still saving Wolffe from most of the damage it caused.
You should probably be panicking. You felt that something was wrong, but the sight of the commander calmed you down. As he repeated his words, some despair seemed to shine through his voice.
''Why did you do this? You barely know me, Jedi.'', he asked with his deep and huffed voice.
You smiled gently, with no regret in your gaze. You had to choose your words carefully, as each one involved great effort.
''I deeply care about you. I shouldn't, but I can't deny that...''
You knew instinctively that now was not the time to hide your feelings. Wolffe looked at you and seemed lost for a moment, but his hard shell slowly crumbled down as he squeezed your cold hand tighter. His warm hand in yours felt just right, you felt safe despite everything what happened.
''How could that be? I'm just another Commander, another Clone'', he murmured as exasperation slowly spreads through his voice.
''No, not to me.'', you whispered firmly, clenching your lips together from exhaustion as you examine his face one last to time. Even though your body begun to tremble slightly, your face seemed calm and determined in contrast to the Commander starring at you and visibly loosing his composure at the realization of your words.
You reached out to touch his cheek and mumbled with the last of your strength, "Wolffe, you are not just a Commander, you are my Commander.
Wolffe inhales sharply, pressing your hand tightly against his chest as he notices that you seemed to lose you consciousness again.
''NO!! Stay with me! I am... I'm your Commander, do you hear?!? Just stay with me!'', he shouts full of despair. But you just smiled as you heard him speak. "Your Commander," his words repeated over and over in your head as your eyes slowly fell shut again.
''Don't leave me,'' you hear his voice echoing from far away, as you feel his lips touch yours gently and a deep serenity fills your body before the darkness surrounded you again.

The top 100 overall prospects of the 2023 NFL Draft:
Now that all his position rankings for this year’s #NFLDraft are out, @halilsfbtalk combined them into his personal top-100 #BigBoard ! 1. Jalen Carter 25. Jordan Addison 47. Julius Brents 64. Tyjae Spears . . #NFL #NFLDraft #NFLDraft2023 #DraftTwitter
All position rankings for this year’s NFL draft are out. So now it’s time to combine them all into my personal big board! Along with the 100 names here, I added the “next 30”, since I felt bad for leaving them off, considering the difference between them and they last few guys who made the cut is fairly marginal and I would be fine with anybody from that group being picked on day two. who is jamie fucking tartt, anyways? // a guide to the public's knowledge on richmond's #9, divided into three sections: non-football watcher, casual watcher, football fan
for the non-football watcher //
• you'd probably know of jamie as a footballer the way people would know of haaland or kane or saka. he's not beckham-level famous [ yet ] but he is a big deal in english football and very talented • if you're a reality tv watcher, your primary exposure to jamie would be his stint on the uk's number one show, lust conquers all. on lust, jamie very much played up a prick attitude, very much the smug sort of guy who knows he's sexy and will talk about it. he cheated on amy [ who he'd proposed to in a bathroom ] with denise by having jacuzzi sex, leading to his elimination from the show. • if you're from manchester, there's drama around him - he left man city two weeks into the 2020-21 season to do lust conquers all. united fans already disliked him, but jamie's abandonment of city led to pretty widespread dislike of him in his hometown. • if nothing else, if you find yourself around richmond with no knowledge of the team/jamie, he's loud, bubbly, bright - a very different person than he was on lust conquers all. you might see him kicking a ball around with kids on the richmond green, or chasing around a dog to wear it down for their owner, or training with roy kent [ who is a beckham-level big deal. you would know of roy kent ] and talking his ear off while he does names you'd know - roy kent [ current richmond manager, very fucking famous ], zava [ formerly of many teams, a striker, very fucking famous. played in america his last season (2022-23), with lafc ].
casual football watcher //
everything up ^^ there, plus... • jamie tartt is richmond's #9. he played striker while on loan with richmond in 2019-20 and is now a midfielder. he's from manchester and grew up in the manchester city academy system, making his premier league debut young. he plays for england and has begun to make himself a regular in the three lions' xi. • he played under pep guardiola for multiple years, and was a part of the premier league winning teams in 2017-18 and 2018-19. • he left manchester city to do lust conquers all, and was not welcome back to city. he rejoined the world of football with richmond while they were in the championship. they earned their promotion that season and returned to the premier league. • they were not expected to do well in the premier league, but after a shift of strategy after zava's departure from the club in 2021, richmond ended the season on a long win streak to finish second in the premier league, qualifying for richmond's first-ever run in the champions league. • jamie has won premier league player of the month twice and goal of the month three times. • jamie's got something going on with roy kent. he never fails to lavish praise on his manager when he's given the opportunity, despite kent's stubborn demeanor. • if you're an american, you may know ted lasso, richmond's former manager. he went viral for dancing in the locker room after leading his division ii wichita state shockers to the d2 championship game and winning the division • subnote to that^^ even more intense d1 college football watchers would probably only know him as the meme. d2 college football is not widely consumed in america - i'm an avid cfb watcher, and i couldn't tell you without googling who won d2 last year. names you'd know - sam obisanya [ richmond midfielder & nigeria international ] // isaac mcadoo [ richmond captain & centre back ] // dani rojas [ richmond striker & mexico international ]
football fan //
everything up there ^^ plus... • jamie has a lifelong hatred of manchester united. he will play harder in those matches, and he scored a hat trick against them at richmond in early 2023. • jamie grew up on a council estate, and was recruited for man city's academy when he was 8, starting with them when he was 9. • jamie wore 51 at city for all of the years he played there. • jamie's city senior debut was in 2015, when he was 17 years old, and he played with them from 2015 through 2020, when he left to do lust conquers all. • jamie was loaned to afc richmond for the 2019-20 season, where he made a name for himself. his chant is sung to the tune of baby shark. he scored 11 goals for richmond, keeping them solidly mid-table, until ted lasso's arrival. • his loan was cut short in february 2020, and he returned to city to play the rest of the season with his home club. • richmond was relegated to the championship after the 2019-20 season when jamie made an assist in stoppage time with man city to end the match 2-1, city. • jamie's return to richmond was not without controversy - he was hotheaded and kept the ball more often than he passed it while he was on loan. his relationship with his teammates was tumultuous at best, downright bad at worst. on the first match day of his return, afc richmond mounted a protest against their main sponsor, dubaiair. richmond lost that match, leading to the end of an 8-week tie streak. • jamie has publicly been very supportive of his teammates since then, especially in more recent years. he frequently ends games with an assist or more to his name, and is widely regarded as the central cog of richmond's team. • jamie wears 24 when he isn't starting for england, a tribute to sam obisanya. • jamie grew up a roy kent fan, and many of his plays mimic roy's from roy's prime. • jamie's england debut was in 2022, at age 24. • jamie is transitioning into playing more midfield for england, though their gaffer has commented in the past that jamie 'doesn't have the skillset to play centrally for england'. when in the xi, jamie typically wears the 7 or 8, though he has worn the 11 a handful of times, too - showing his dynamic ability to play just about any spot on the pitch. • as of october 2023, jamie has three assists and one goal for england, and is on the hunt for more. • jamie is a player with a mind for the game unlike most others', regularly seeing the game two to three passes ahead of where it is. he can play box-to-box incredibly efficiently, and has saved more than one goal from going in. he's a hard worker and always seems to be enjoying himself on the pitch during hard-fought games, though he has been publicly dismayed at hard losses before, such as a 5-0 loss to city in the fa cup semifinal in 2021. • he has a summer football camp in manchester named after him that he sponsors, providing free boots, shin guards, and other equipment to the kids who grew up like he did, without many resources but with a love of the game, and helps them get in front of academy recruiters. jamie is frequently seen training with these kids during his summer break. • as of present day, it's public record that jamie donates money to domestic violence, sexual abuse, and women's charities, as well as the nhs names you'd know - ted lasso [ former richmond gaffer ] // nathan shelley [ former west ham gaffer, current richmond assistant ] // the rest of richmond's regular starting xi, listed on my carrd // paddy o'gara [ former manchester city centre back, a mentor of jamie's ]
#headcanons !#i have brainrot can you tell yet#if you ever want more knowledge than this feel free to ask !!! i will expound !!!!

Klarpay AG Reviews: Scam Exposed
Read Klarpay AG Reviews and find out if this company is a major scam or a legit enterprise in this Gripeo review.
As the first fintech company in Switzerland with a FINMA license, Klarpay says it caters only to digital merchants, social media influencers, and e-commerce. It provides remittance and cross-border payment acceptance solutions, including digital disbursement services, access to multi-currency IBAN accounts, and global payment acceptance. Mihkel Vitsur, a co-founder of BDSwiss, founded Klarpay in 2019. It was among the first Swiss fintech companies to be granted a banking license under the recently announced Small Banks Regime. This is our preliminary analysis.
Brief Story of Klarpay AG reviews
It appears that Klarpay AG is a kind of spin-off of Jan Eric Malkus’ investing company, BDSwiss. Several of its founders and former executives are important figures in the bank:
Mihkel Vitsur, a co-founder and former chairman of BDSwiss, is the chairman of Klarpay.
CEO of Klarpay and a former director of BDSwiss Group, Martynas Bieliauskas co-founded the company;
Former BDSwiss CIO and CTO Christos Alatzidis co-founded and serves as CTO of Klarpay; Marc Evans, the former CFO of BDSwiss, became Chief Financial Officer of Klarpay in February 2022.
The principal figures of Payabl (previously Powercash21), as recently revealed by reporters, are Dietmar Knoechelmann, his wife Ayelet Fruchtlander Knoechelmann, Ruediger Trautmann, and Frank Schoonbaert, all of whom were formerly Wirecard scheme managers. Former Wirecard satellite programs like Inatec and Powercash21 were absorbed by Payabl (see this story).
Payabl invested in Klarpay and successfully arranged a seed financing round for the latter in May 2022. A total of CHF 3 million was put into Klarpay. Ugne Buraciene, Group CEO of Payabl, was designated as an advisor to Klarpay as part of Payabl’s involvement with the latter company.
The marketplaces
As of August 2022, Similarweb’s most recent statistics show that over thirty percent of the around 10,000 website visits are from Turkey, with the Netherlands and Germany following closely behind. Therefore, it is reasonable to presume that Turkish merchants and/or their Turkish consumers make up a sizable component of Klarpay’s user base.
FINMA
The Swiss government agency in charge of financial regulation is called the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority. This covers the oversight of other Swiss financial intermediaries such as banks, insurance providers, stock exchanges, and securities dealers. The name and abbreviation of FINMA are typically written in English to avoid giving the impression that one of Switzerland’s linguistic regions is being favoured.
The Federal Banking Commission, which was founded in 1934, was succeeded by FINMA, which was created in 2007. Located in Bern, it is a stand-alone organisation with its own legal identity. It reports directly to the Swiss parliament and is institutionally, operationally, and fiscally independent of the Federal Department of Finance and the central federal administration.
With the passage of the Federal Act creating the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMASA) on June 22, 2007, FINMA was established. By doing this, the Federal Office of Private Insurance (FOPI), the Anti Money Laundering Control Authority, and the EBK-CFB were combined into a single organisation that was in charge of overseeing all financial regulations in Switzerland.
Due to their importance to the Swiss economy, two of the biggest banks in the world, UBS and Credit Suisse, are located in Switzerland. As such, FINMA has a specialised regulatory team focused on each of these companies.
FINMA issues banking licences to all Swiss banks. A “FinTech banking licence” is now an application option for some fintech businesses as of 2019. Five businesses have been licensed as fintech banks as of May 2023: Klarpay AG, Relio AG, SR Saphirstein AG, SWISS4.0 SA, and Yapeal AG.
Klarpay AG Reviews (As claimed)
Leading financial provider Klarpay AG gives online companies access to digital disbursement solutions, global payment acceptance, and multi-currency IBAN accounts. With a focus on e-commerce, digital entrepreneurs, and social media influencers, Klarpay is the first fintech company with a Swiss licence. Its mission is to empower digital entrepreneurs by providing customised business banking solutions and scalable, international payment options. Established in 2019, Klarpay AG is a financial institution that accepts deposits and is subject to regulation by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) in accordance with Article 1b of the Swiss Federal Banking Act.
Klarpay AG Reviews: The influencer culture and its impact on digital payments in the future
Could you explain the significance of the influencer culture, which has exploded in the last five years around the globe, to the payments ecosystem?
It is debatable if influencers have changed marketing in the last ten years. Influencers have changed during the course of the culture’s quick ascent to prominence as a potent marketing tool. In the past, influencers’ exposure was mostly determined by the brands they were linked to; but, in recent years, this has changed, and influencers are increasingly starting to establish themselves as brands.
Influencer marketing is just as crucial in the financial industry as it is in other industries like fashion, food, and health. It resonates so well because we are interested in learning about the finest places to eat or who creates the most stylish, eco-friendly clothing since these topics are important to us on a daily basis.
However, people are curious about which brand or organisation is the most honest, which offers the greatest services, and which offers the best solution, since few things are as important to people as their finances.
Klarpay AG Reviews: Conclusion
Influencer.in by media published “The Influencer Marketing Report 2023.” It offers a thorough analysis of the sector, including insights into Influencer Marketing and its current developments. Over 500 survey responses from Indian content creators and over 50 responses from marketers were used to build the research for 2023 between June and August of this year. For companies looking to incorporate influencer marketing into their marketing mix, the research provides useful insights.
The growing popularity of short-form videos—more than 92% of influencers preferring to create content using this format—and YouTube Shorts’ emergence as the go-to platform for content creation were two significant discoveries. This is indicative of more general social media tendencies toward brief, eye-catching material.
Influencer marketing, according to more than 77% of respondents, is a “must-have” element of every digital marketing plan. YouTube shorts are now the most popular content format on Instagram, which continues to be the most popular channel for influencer marketing.
Influencer marketing continues to be a low-budget activity for brands; most allocate only 5–10% of their marketing budgets to this kind of advertising.
Since micro creators are frequently viewed by their fans as more real and relevant than celebrities, 61% of marketers prefer to collaborate with them over celebrities. This can help them be more successful in increasing engagement and sales.
Although mega- and macro-influencers are similarly well-liked, working with them is typically more costly. If you want to reach a large audience quickly they’re a good option, but may not be as effective at driving engagement as micro- and mid-tier influencers.
Influencer marketing in 2023 will be driven by authenticity and short-form videos. According to the poll, short-form films were preferred by 92% of influencers, which represents a significant shift in influencer activations. Over 51% of influencers chose YouTube as their favourite platform.
The most common video format among influencers is short-form content, such as Reels and YouTube Shorts.

[ad_1] Dec 15, 2023, 10:50 AM ETWant to know the latest trends, matchups and injury news in football? We've got you. Want to know where the public has money this week? We've got you. Want to know which teams to play, whom to roster in DFS or whom to pick in your Eliminator pool? We've got you there, too. Here's everything you need to know as you prepare for your fantasy football matchups and potential bets on the games this weekend.Odds by ESPN BET.CFB: Action Report | Analytics Edges | Confidence pool picksNFL: Injury update | Matchups to exploit | Eliminator Challenge | Analytics Edges | Action Report | Pigskin Pick'emSports Betting home | Fantasy Football homeCollege Footballplay3:21Cubelic, Harper don't hold back about Tide vs. MichiganRead & React's Cole Cubelic delves out his honest opinion on Bama's semifinal matchup while Roman Harper adds that the Rose Bowl is all about "bragging rights."David Purdum's Action ReportCapital One Bowl ManiaGo perfect in your bowl picks and win up to $1 million, plus more prizes! Make Your Picks Bettors should pay attention to the weather forecast for Saturday's Avocados From Mexico Cure Bowl between the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks and Appalachian State Mountaineers in Orlando. As of Thursday, the forecast was calling for a 100% chance of rain with 16 mph winds. The total opened as high as 48.5 but was down to 43 on Thursday. The point spread on the game also has been on the move, with Appalachian State going from a 3.5-point favorite to 6.5-point favorite. The line on Saturday's LA Bowl between the Boise State Broncos and favored UCLA Bruins has ticked up toward the Bruins, despite key players skipping the game. UCLA opened as a 2.5-point favorite at Caesars Sportsbook. The line was up to -4.5 as of Thursday. Highly-touted freshman quarterback Dante Moore has reportedly entered the transfer portal, and Bruins defensive lineman Laiatu Latu, the Pac-12 defensive player of the year, will miss the bowl game to prepare for the NFL draft. Boise State will be breaking in a new quarterback, after starter Taylen Green announced that he would transferring to Arkansas. Freshman quarterback CJ Tiller is expected to start for the Broncos. The early action on the Rose Bowl between the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 1 Michigan Wolverines continues to be lopsided in favorite of the underdog Tide. Alabama remained a consensus 1.5-point underdog to the Wolverines this week. On Thursday, DraftKings was reporting that 84% of the money that had been wagered on the point spread was on the Crimson Tide.Seth Walder's biggest edges from ESPN AnalyticsWestern Kentucky Hilltoppers (+2.5) vs. Old Dominion Monarchs: Old Dominion QB Austin Reed has posted a solid 62 QBR this season (which, coincidentally, also ranks 62nd). And it is on offense where the Hilltoppers have the major edge; they rank 76th in offensive FPI to Old Dominion at 120. FPI makes Western Kentucky 3.5-point favorites in the Famous Toastery Bowl.Joe Fortenbaugh's Confidence picksGeorgia Southern Eagles -3.5 over Ohio Bobcats: The Ohio roster was annihilated by the transfer portal. Starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke is leaving and his backup was already out of action. Additionally, the Bobcats lost their top wide receiver, top two running backs and top linebacker to the portal as well. Happy to lay the 3.5 in this spot at the Myrtle Beach Bowl.New Mexico State Aggies -3.5 over Fresno State Bulldogs: Two teams headed in very different directions. Jerry Kill's Aggies won eight of their final nine games en route to a 10-4 record. Meanwhile, Fresno State dropped each of its final three games to close out the season heading into the Isleta New Mexico Bowl and will be without head coach Jeff Tedford, who is stepping away from the program due to health concerns. The Bulldogs lack motivation, which is one of the primary handicapping factors to consider this time of year.Jacksonville State Gamecocks -2.5 over Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns: When discussing the motivation angle, good luck finding a bowl team with more motivation than Jacksonville State, which went 8-4 SU and 8-3-1 ATS in its first season at the FBS level. But because of some goofy rule, the Gamecocks weren't sure they would even be allowed to play in a bowl game this season. I'll spare you the details and leave you with this: Jacksonville State got in and they're extremely excited to be playing in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.NFLplay1:53Field Yates: Matthew Stafford is a top-8 QB play this weekField Yates and Mike Clay explain their rankings for Matthew Stafford vs. the Commanders.Stephania Bell's injury update.Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson was on the field for just 13 offensive snaps last Sunday in his return from a Week 5 hamstring injury before he sustained a chest injury that forced him out of the game and sent him to a local hospital for a precautionary evaluation. On Wednesday, Jefferson told reporters the concern was for potential internal bleeding and broken ribs. He was cleared to return home with his teammates after being diagnosed with what he called an "inner bruise." On Tuesday, he was listed as a limited participant on the team's estimated practice report, and he repeated the effort Wednesday. The Vikings play Saturday, and, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert, Jefferson -- who noted his hamstring felt "perfect" during the brief time he was on the field last Sunday -- expects to play his normal role.Get all the latest injury news here.Matt Bowen's matchups to exploitEditor's Picks2 RelatedCleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett vs. Chicago Bears LT Braxton Jones: Garrett has logged 13 sacks and 37 pressures this season, with a pass rush win rate of 29.2% that ranks second in the league. There's a matchup advantage here for Garrett to win on the edge and disrupt quarterback Justin Fields in the pocket.Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford vs. the Washington Commanders defense: Stafford, who has thrown 10 total touchdown passes over his last three starts, is playing his best football of the season right now. He's dialed in. And he gets another positive matchup this weekend versus the Commanders defense, a unit allowing a league-worst 30.4 points and 266.6 passing yards per game. Look for Stafford to attack all three levels of the field in this one.For more breakdowns, check out Matt Bowen's Film Room.Mike Clay's Eliminator Challenge adviceSeth Walder's biggest edges from ESPN AnalyticsCincinnati Bengals LB Germaine Pratt over 6.5 tackles + assists (-115): This is a nice, low tackle line for a starting linebacker, and I can't imagine the Vikings will want to rely on quarterback Nick Mullens too much. My tackle model is way over here and forecasts 8.3 tackles + assists for Pratt.Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons under 0.5 sacks (+135): This bet isn't for the faint of heart, but I show value on Parsons' under, with my model pricing it at +101. The key factor: Josh Allen has just a 3.4% sack rate, just a shade behind league leader Patrick Mahomes (3.3%). Quarterbacks play a huge role in sack rates, and that's driving the projection here.David Purdum's Action ReportWinning Never Looked So GoodVictory shines brighter with a blinged-out ESPN championship trophy and belt. Shop Now >> The Buffalo Bills were consensus 2-point favorites over the visiting Cowboys in the weekend's marquee game. FanDuel reported Thursday that the Cowboys-Bills game was setting up to the one most popular with bettors of the season. "We are in another unusual position where a Cowboys cover would actually be a big win for the book, as an ever-growing liability continues to come in on the Bills," a FanDuel representative said in a company release. Sportsbook PointsBet also has reported a surge of betting interest on the Bills to win the Super Bowl. Since Nov. 27, the Bills had attracted more bets and more money in PointsBet's odds to win the Super Bowl than any other team. With rain and wind in the forecast, the total on the New York Jets-Miami Dolphins game was down to 37.5 as of Thursday. The total opened at 40.5. At 37.5, it would be the lowest total on a Dolphins game this season. Forecasts were calling rain with winds of 22 mph on Sunday in Miami.Games that attracted early lopsided action: 93% of the spread money was on the Los Angeles Rams against the Commanders as of Thursday on FanDuel; 88% of the spread money was on the Atlanta Falcons against the Carolina Panthers as of Thursday at DraftKings.FanDuel also reported early betting interest on the Philadelphiia Eagles, who were 4-point road favorites over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. "We need the Eagles' late-season slide to continue, as the early money has all come in on Philadelphia, and a Seahawks cover would be a big win for the sportsbook," the FanDuel rep added.Tyler Fulghum's Pigskin Pick'em playsWhat a wild ending to Week 14 with the Monday Night upsets in Miami and the Meadowlands. This is why we love the NFL. I'm gonna take lots of chalk this week. What could possibly go wrong? Good luck in Week 15 of Pigskin Pick'em! [ad_2] Source link
