Cannabidiol (CBD) products are becoming increasingly popular, and as a result, an increasing number of individuals are purchasing CBD not just for themselves but also for their pets.
Anxiety develops in animals when they detect a potentially dangerous or unsettling environment. Your pets may experience stress as a result of common, everyday occurrences such as thunderstorms, fireworks, being left alone at home, or even moving to a new house, all of which can be detrimental to their health and well-being.
CBD is a component that is found in the cannabis plant, but unlike THC, it does not cause users to become high. It is thought to provide various benefits for one's health, including the promotion of relaxation, the reduction of inflammation, and the alleviation of pain. As a result, it can be used in place of medications to treat specific illnesses in pets.
Are you considering purchasing CBD-infused treats, oils, balms, or other products for your pet in order to alleviate their anxiety, depression, nausea, or pain caused by arthritis?
So go ahead and purchase these items for them so they can improve their well-being naturally.
CBD pet products wholesale is paying attention to customer feedback and coming up with innovative solutions to meet our needs for products that are healthy, safe, and cruelty-free and that do not contain an excessive number of fillers or additives.

No idea if any of you have guinea pig experience, but if you do: thoughts on the newer recommendations to rub cbd cream on the ears to treat longer-term pain? Example: just had a cyst removed and the site is still sore.
Obvious qualifications that the owner buys thc-free cream as instructed and doesn’t have to break laws to do so apply here. Also obviously you’d still be giving antibiotics and stuff, this is just for pain.
I’ve been super curious about this one, as someone with a ton of guinea pig experience from the non-medical professional side (is this a good sound/what sex is my pig/is this food safe are the kinds of questions I’m willing to answer, I stay in my lane). Hopefully it isn’t problematic, since I know a lot of piggies with truly terrible reactions to syringes that would vastly prefer having cream rubbed on their ears if at all possible. Thanks!
vet-and-wild here.
As a whole we (veterinary professionals) aren't necessarily at the point where we are recommending CBD products for regular use. The research is lacking and the regulations for what is sold for pets is all over the place. There's just too much variation now and not enough solid evidence for how it should be used, particularly for different species. I would be especially wary of using CBD products for exotics. They are smaller, so dosing may be an issue, and do tend to be more sensitive. And even if the CBD itself doesn't cause an issue, I'd worry about additives in the products as well.
More anecdotally, I do have a fair amount of owners that have tried CBD products for their animals (generally cats and dogs) and the results are mixed. I don't necessarily tell my clients they can't use it, but I tell them basically what I talked about above. Some owners feel like these products have greatly improved their pet's quality of life. Others don't feel like they did anything.
I would honestly love to see more research about how to safely and effectively use CBD for pets, especially exotics. If we have a product that is easy to apply/administer, doesn't cause significant side effects, is affordable, and genuinely helps the animal, I'm all for it! Given the success humans have had it will probably trickle down to vet med eventually but we're not quite there. Maybe in the next 5-10 years.

Blackie vs Maccabee
check their descriptions and catpaganda (new for blackie)
BLACKIE
This is Blackie, submitter's little one-eyed wonder. He lost his eye to glaucoma quite a few years ago, but he's doing a lot better now, and still likes to play with his sister, Artemis. His name is Blackie because that's what the shelter named him and submitter's family couldn't agree on a new name for him so it stuck, but submitter themselves call him 'Big Boi' because of just how massive he is. He was once very timid, but with time and love and patience he is now a certified lap cat who will come right up to strangers to demand pets. He has a wonderful squeaky meow and when he purrs it sounds like two cats purring at once. He likes to have people watch him eat and he will guide submitter's mom over to the couch and make her lay down just so he can sleep in her lap. Also, when he lays on his back, he covers his belly with his tail. Pictured is him in his signature polite boi sitting pose
MACCABEE
- weird old man
- known to bite people's elbows when prompted
- frequently sleeps with one (1) limb stretched in a random direction
- the reason submitter can't have pineapples in the house
- knows the word "treat," meaning it cannot be said out loud around him
- they got him for chanukah (hence the name). diversity win! this cat is jewish!
- they paid $150 to buy him a half-page ad in submitter's high school yearbook because he's worth it <3
CATPAGANDA
MACCABEE
has a post made by his human as a separate propaganda piece. it has bribery. the offer as far as i know still stands
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
also has agitational posters!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BLACKIE
So glad to see Blackie still in the competition! His response so far has been "aow."
Truth be told, I'm running out of propaganda. If he make it to the next round, I'm gonna try my darnedest to capture his meows on video, which I haven't been able to do before because he sees me coming with the camera and starts purring XD
For now, more assorted Blackie facts!
Very rarely, when he gets the zoomies, he'll laugh. Like "huhuhuheueheHUEHEUE" kinda laugh.
I like to let him sniff human food/whatever I'm holding just to make sure he feels included (still doesn't like anything but pizza crumbs). But he has gagged on pickled ginger, banana, and CBD rub. He always gets really embarrassed when he gags tho
Ever since I got a job, he has been following me to bed and jumping on my chest to get the pets that he now lacks during the day.
If he sees you getting out the cat brush, he''ll lead you over to where he wants to be brushed.
On that note, when I had hurt my leg one time, Blackie saw that I wasn't leaning down to pet him and instead lead me over to the couch to have me sit down to pet him. He kept that up for a couple months once he saw how relieved it made me.
More Blackie propoganda! This time I bring you big boi in motion
link
Assorted Blackie facts:
A brave man when it comes to thunderstorms. But the vacuum? His mortal enemy.
The friendliest cat at the shelter. But the staff forced me to pick him up and hold him to get a picture and he got terrified and peed on me.
We think, based on how he acts, that he may have grown up in a home with dogs. But the mark on his ear is one done by our local neuter and release program, so we don't know if he was a stray, an outside cat, etc. But he's one of the friendliest cats I've ever met.
Will go up to his sister and put his head down to get it licked. But as soon as she goes to lick him and flattens his ears and raises a paw like he's gonna hit her. Sometimes they fight and sometimes they just walk away. We don't think he's trying to trick her because he acts genuinely confused throughout this process.
Sometimes he uses his back paw to scratch the back of his front leg when he's sitting down and it's so cute <3
These are old photos from when I used to hold a camera down and snap a photo when they leaned in to sniff the lens.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blackie is our older cat and is such a gentleman. He is eager to love, he does the quickest slow blinks I've ever seen from a cat. He has a two-layered purr, it literally sounds like a cat purring as popcorn is being made in the background. He lost his eye to glaucoma when he was younger but he runs around and plays and teases his sister Artemis like a kitten. And his eyebrow whiskers grew down over his missing eye! He's not a big fan of people food but he has a fondness for pizza crumbs (NOT the crust. Just the crumbs off the plate when you're done eating the pizza). He walks like he's gingerly stepping through flowers and he's so gentle that the one time I overstimulated him and he wanted to bite me, he just shoved his closed mouth against my hand. He has a super long tongue and if you scratch the right spot between his shoulder blades he will lick the air. He's my precious boy who started out so scared but he's so brave and social and happy now just typing this out makes me wanna cry and go give him scritchies.

Yeah my stigma came from a fairly conservative upbringing. Everything that wasn't deemed "traditional" was viewed through a negative lense and approached as though it was immoral. I'm still fine if people choose to view it negatively or choose not to do it after learning about it, but rallying against something you've taken no time to try and understand is something I have no respect for.
I actually use CBD with my dogs. It's great when used in conjunction with glucosamine and chondroitin for joint support, or for calming benefits. The trick is to find brands that are legit and not just trying to rip people off. They do a disservice not only to people trying to take care of their pets but to the general consensus to the benefits of medical marijuana in general.
Maybe add them to the list of things to deal with on your journey to enact your own twisted justice. Somewhere between building your legion of lustful followers and stopping deforestation lol.
That's how my family tried to raise me. I, unfortunately for them, asked way too many questions and didn't like the religious "Jesus said no" answers I was given. But yes, many Christian or Catholic people love to criticize weed but it's used to treat patients on so many levels it's crazy.
That's amazing though!! Yes!! Finding the right brands is hard when you're not really sure what to look for. Reviews are the big thing to look for honestly, and reputable brands that aren't brand new. Unfortunately new brands I kind of stick away from when it comes to certain things just because I get a little paranoid about the side effects and about what could happen. But that's because i've smoked for 8 years now. Lol
Oh 100% 🙈 my lustful followers will have tasks 🥰 side quests if you will to complete 🥰🥰🥰 probably a few generals who get special privileges 😏

List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you! get to know your mutuals and followers ♡
I'm SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME WAY TOO LONG
and thank you to @yesitsloulou because I saw you sent me this too and y'all are so so sweet for it. Seriously. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO FREAKING MUCH
Top 5 things that make me happy, let's goooo (strap in this is a long one)
Friends & Family
I'm putting them together cuz technically friends ARE family to me. More and more do I realize just how stinkin important they are and how much they make my day/month/year.
My friends sending me tiktoks/memes they think I'll love or remind them of me, who love me for me and I can be my goofy self with them
my parents being endlessly supportive and hear me out, who sometimes pick me up coffee or snacks simply because they are thinking of me. My mom, who used to take my brother and I to anime cons and would patiently listen to us rant about our latest obsession and STILL does it till this day even though she has no interest in any of it because she loves us that much. Or my dad who will be a big ol' goof and won't stop till he's cracked a smile out of me.
2. Mutuals
I would put mutuals in the friends and family category, but y'all deserve your own spot because otherwise I'd go on forever lmao (also I see mutuals as friends but I know some people might find that TOO familiar and I'm not trying to weird ya out or nothin)
mutuals who leave tags on reblogs, letting me know their thoughts or little comments to me. Or the reblogs on my art and letting me know if you love it or not?? like 'IM OVER THE MOON'. Know that I'm squeeing and kickin my feet and twirling my hair. All of it. Also, seeing how excited y'all are about a certain show, books, fandom etc Even those posts that are like 'reblog if you would gently headbutt with the person you reblogged this from if y'all were cats'. I love that. I mean it when I say that all of this makes my entiiirrree day. I love it and I love y'all!!
3. My Pets
Seeing their cute little faces gets me through so much. They let me hug and kiss them a whole bunch and it fills me with so much seratonin, holy hell. They have helped me on lonely nights, being little supportive spirits when I'm in my head too much or going through a bad break up. If y'all want some cuteness too, heres a pic of the two of them. I lost my sweet Gir last year and it still gets to me. It's also the anniversary of her passing, but she was an amazing dog.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. CBD gummies
okay so this is left field and sounds goofy, but I struggle with sleep pretty badly. I'm a night owl through and through, so it makes settling down super hard. My brain just won't shut the fuck up. It's caused my anxiety to spike enough to get medicated for it. However, with these gummies I can FINALLY bank on a good night's sleep and for that I am forever thankful. It also makes me feel so damn good too, so it even calms my anxious nerves. It's made me happy to tears, let me tell ya.
5. Baking
Been finding a lot of happiness in trying new recipes. Some of my favorite nights are getting tipsy/high, baking, and watching horror movies. I've mad pie dough, mini pumpkin pies, brownies, no bakes, caramels, truffles, muffins and god its been such a TREAT. I made my friends and family baked goods and it filled me with so much joy.
Thank you so so much for the sweet ask!! <3 I'm so happy to have y'all as mutuals. Seriously, you make the weeks that much sweeter. I hope you are doing great. Sending you lots of love! ❤️❤️❤️

How to Incorporate Dog Calming Products into Your Home
Dogs are more than just pets; they're part of the family. However, just like humans, they can experience stress and anxiety from various triggers like loud noises, separation, new environments, or even changes in their daily routine. To help maintain a peaceful environment for your pet, it’s essential to consider various calming products available on the market. This guide will provide actionable steps on how to effectively incorporate dog calming products into your home, making your furry friend’s life calmer, healthier, and happier.
Understanding Dog Anxiety and Its Triggers
Before diving into specific products, it's crucial to recognize why your dog may experience anxiety. Dogs can become anxious for a variety of reasons:
Loud noises like fireworks, thunderstorms, or household sounds.
Separation anxiety when left alone for extended periods.
New environments such as moving to a new home or adding new family members or pets.
Sudden changes in routine which might throw off their sense of security.
Understanding these triggers can help you choose and implement the most appropriate calming solutions for your pet.
What Are Dog Calming Products?
Dog calming products are items designed to reduce anxiety and stress in dogs. These products come in different forms, including calming beds, sprays, supplements, treats, and even anxiety wraps. They often utilize natural ingredients or soothing techniques that help your pet feel more at ease. These products can be particularly beneficial for dogs with chronic anxiety or those who face occasional stressful situations.
Types of Dog Calming Products
Incorporating the right products depends on your dog’s needs and preferences. Below are some popular dog calming products and dog supplements that you can introduce into your home:
1. Calming Dog Beds
A calming bed is designed to provide a sense of security and comfort. Often made with plush, soft materials, these beds create a cozy and inviting environment for dogs. They typically feature raised edges, allowing your dog to curl up and feel supported. Calming beds are ideal for dogs who feel most secure in a confined space.
How to Use
Place the calming bed in a quiet, familiar area of your home where your dog can retreat during stressful times. Encourage your dog to use it by placing their favorite toys or treats on the bed.
2. Dog Calming Sprays
Calming sprays release pheromones or natural fragrances like lavender and chamomile that help to soothe a dog's nerves. Pheromone sprays mimic the scent produced by a mother dog, which can have a comforting effect on anxious pets.
How to Use
Spray these calming products around areas where your dog spends most of their time, such as their bed, crate, or favorite lounging spot. Always follow the instructions on the spray bottle, and never spray directly on your dog’s fur, as this might overwhelm their senses.
3. Dog Supplements for Anxiety Relief
Dog supplements are natural calming aids that you can add to your dog’s diet. These usually contain ingredients like L-Theanine, melatonin, or chamomile, which promote relaxation. CBD oil, derived from hemp, has also gained popularity as a calming supplement, helping to reduce anxiety levels without causing any psychoactive effects.
How to Use
Mix the recommended dosage of supplements with your dog’s food. It’s essential to follow dosing instructions, as too much can sometimes cause adverse effects. If you’re using CBD or other herbal supplements, consult with your vet to ensure it's safe for your dog's breed, size, and health condition.
4. Calming Dog Treats
Calming treats are specifically formulated with ingredients like chamomile, valerian root, and other natural herbs known for their calming properties. They’re convenient and tasty, making it easier to administer than supplements.
How to Use
Calming treats work best when given before potentially stressful events, such as car rides or social gatherings. Keep a few treats handy and give them to your dog 30 minutes to an hour before the anticipated stressor to allow the calming effects to take hold.
5. Anxiety Wraps or Dog Vests
Anxiety wraps, such as the ThunderShirt, apply gentle pressure to your dog’s torso, mimicking the sensation of a hug. This calming effect helps reduce stress and anxiety during high-stress situations.
How to Use
Wraps are simple to use. Slip the vest onto your dog before they encounter stressful situations, like fireworks or thunderstorms. Ensure a snug but comfortable fit to maximize its calming effect. These wraps are machine-washable and can be reused, making them a great long-term solution.
6. Dog Calming Diffusers
Similar to calming sprays, diffusers release pheromones into the air to create a relaxing environment. These are often plugged into wall sockets and work continuously to calm your dog throughout the day.
How to Use
Place the diffuser in a room where your dog spends a lot of time. Make sure there’s sufficient ventilation, as confined spaces can intensify the aroma, which might be overwhelming for some pets. Replace the cartridge as recommended for optimal effects.
Tips for Incorporating Dog Calming Products into Your Home Routine
Using calming products effectively requires a bit of planning and understanding. Here are some tips to help you introduce these products into your home successfully.
1. Introduce Products Gradually
Dogs can be sensitive to new scents, textures, and even tastes. Gradually introduce calming products one at a time to gauge how your pet responds. For instance, start by using a calming bed and, once your dog is accustomed to it, try adding a diffuser or calming spray.
2. Create a Safe Space
Designate a specific area of your home as a calm, safe haven for your dog. Place their calming bed, toys, and a diffuser or spray in this area. Encourage your dog to retreat to this space whenever they feel anxious. Over time, they will associate this area with safety and relaxation.
3. Observe and Adjust Dosage of Dog Supplements
If you’re incorporating dog supplements, monitor your dog’s behavior closely. Some dogs may need a smaller or larger dose depending on their size, weight, and level of anxiety. Always consult your veterinarian if you’re unsure about dosage.
4. Keep Calm During High-Stress Events
During events that typically trigger your dog’s anxiety, such as thunderstorms, firework displays, or trips to the vet, maintain a calm demeanor. Dogs often mirror our emotions, so staying calm will signal to your dog that everything is fine. Use calming products proactively before the event to help reduce their stress levels.
5. Combine Products for Optimal Results
Sometimes, using multiple calming products can create the best results. For example, you might use a calming vest alongside a pheromone spray or calming supplements. Combining different products can create a comprehensive calming strategy for your dog, especially if they have severe anxiety.
Benefits of Using Dog Calming Products and Dog Supplements
Incorporating dog calming products into your home routine provides numerous benefits for both you and your dog:
Reduces Anxiety Levels: Calming products provide your dog with ways to manage their stress in a healthy and natural way.
Improves Quality of Life: Reducing anxiety contributes to better sleep, more playfulness, and a stronger bond with you.
Promotes Better Health: Chronic stress can lead to health issues in dogs, so managing anxiety can prevent these complications and ensure your dog remains healthy.
Eases Stressful Situations: Calming products are invaluable during vet visits, travel, or household events with a lot of unfamiliar faces and noises.
FAQs on Dog Calming Products and Dog Supplements
Are dog calming products safe?
Yes, dog calming products are generally safe when used as directed. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and consult with your veterinarian before using new supplements or products, especially if your dog has underlying health issues.
How long do calming supplements take to work?
This can vary based on the product. Calming treats or supplements often take effect within 30 minutes to an hour. For long-term supplements like CBD oil, it may take a few days of regular use to see noticeable results.
Can I use calming products on puppies?
Yes, but it’s important to consult with your veterinarian first, as puppies may be more sensitive to certain ingredients and require lower doses or milder formulations.
Are dog calming sprays and diffusers effective?
Yes, calming sprays and diffusers can be effective, particularly when used in combination with other calming products. The effectiveness can vary depending on the individual dog, so it may take some trial and error to find the right product for your pet.
By incorporating dog calming products and dog supplements strategically into your home, you create an environment that fosters peace and security for your dog. These products not only help manage stress but also contribute to a happier and healthier lifestyle for your furry friend

Calming Treats for Dogs: A Natural Solution for Anxious Pets
For many pet owners in India, managing a dog’s anxiety can be a challenging task. From fireworks and loud noises to separation anxiety, dogs can experience stress due to a variety of factors. Providing them with calming treats is one of the most effective ways to reduce their stress levels and promote relaxation. At Unleash Wellness, we specialize in high-quality, naturally formulated calming treats for dogs, ensuring that your furry friend can feel safe and relaxed, even in stressful situations.
Why Choose Calming Treats for Dogs?
Dogs may experience anxiety and stress due to various triggers, and calming treats offer a convenient and natural solution. Whether it’s during travel, thunderstorms, vet visits, or even when you’re away at work, calming treats for dogs can be a soothing remedy for your pet. The calming properties of these treats come from natural ingredients known to reduce stress, like chamomile, valerian root, and CBD. Calming treats for dogs are designed to be tasty and easy to administer, making them an ideal choice for pet owners looking for a gentle solution to their pet's anxiety.
1. Natural Ingredients in Calming Treats for Dogs
One of the main reasons to consider calming treats for dogs is the natural ingredients they contain. Unlike some medications, which may have side effects, natural calming treats use ingredients that are safe, gentle, and effective for dogs.
Chamomile: Known for its soothing properties, chamomile helps calm the nerves and can be highly effective in reducing anxiety in dogs.
Valerian Root: This herb has been used for centuries to alleviate stress and promote relaxation. It can be especially useful for dogs who get anxious in loud or unfamiliar environments.
L-Theanine: An amino acid found in green tea, L-Theanine is known to reduce anxiety without causing drowsiness. It helps improve mood and promote calm behavior in dogs.
CBD Oil: Derived from hemp, CBD is a popular ingredient in calming treats. It has been found to reduce anxiety, stress, and even pain, making it an excellent choice for dogs with chronic anxiety or joint issues.
These ingredients, when combined in the right proportions, offer effective, non-sedative calming support, helping dogs manage stress in a healthy and enjoyable way. Unleash Wellness carefully selects each ingredient to ensure quality and effectiveness in our calming treats for dogs.
Benefits of Calming Treats for Dogs
Calming treats not only help reduce anxiety in dogs but also contribute to their overall well-being. When dogs are less stressed, they are more likely to engage positively with their surroundings, eat well, sleep better, and enjoy their day-to-day activities. Here are some key benefits of using calming treats for dogs from Unleash Wellness.
1. Relief from Separation Anxiety
One of the most common issues for pet owners is separation anxiety. Dogs can become stressed and anxious when left alone, which may lead to destructive behavior like chewing on furniture, barking excessively, or even scratching doors and windows. Calming treats for dogs can help alleviate this anxiety, making it easier for them to stay calm and relaxed even when you’re not at home.
2. Reduced Aggressive Behavior
Stress and anxiety are often triggers for aggressive behavior in dogs. Dogs who are overly anxious may become defensive, bark excessively, or react negatively to strangers and other animals. By providing them with calming treats, you can help reduce these anxious feelings, making them more friendly and approachable in various social situations.
3. Support During Loud Events
In India, festivals like Diwali can be particularly stressful for pets due to the loud sounds of fireworks. Many dogs find it difficult to cope with these noises, which can lead to panic and fear. Calming treats for dogs provide a gentle way to soothe their nerves during such events, helping them feel safe and secure despite the external noises.
How to Use Calming Treats for Dogs Effectively
For the best results, it's important to use calming treats correctly and in the right dosages. Here’s how to ensure that you’re giving your dog the optimal calming experience:
Start with a Small Dose: If it’s your dog’s first time trying calming treats, start with a small dose to see how they respond. Every dog is different, and a lower dose can help you gauge how much is needed for effective results.
Use Before Stressful Events: Give your dog calming treats about 30 minutes to an hour before a known stressor. This could be a trip to the vet, fireworks, or a long car ride. The calming effects will typically kick in within 30 to 60 minutes.
Follow the Instructions: Always follow the dosage instructions on the packaging to ensure your dog’s safety. Unleash Wellness provides clear guidelines to make it easy for pet owners to administer the treats effectively.

When to Consult a Veterinarian
While calming treats are generally safe and effective, there may be situations where a dog’s anxiety requires additional attention. If your dog has chronic anxiety or behavioral issues that do not improve with calming treats, it’s advisable to consult a veterinarian. They may suggest additional treatment or behavioral training to address more severe anxiety symptoms.
