@officialpabloschreiber tells the story of missing his alarm and being almost 3 hours late to his first day on set for The Wire. @cbcq host @tomjoepower with @geddyimages. He was on a 2018 episode of "Q" and talked about the "Big Beautiful Book of Bass."
Later in life, Geddy got turned onto vintage instruments. It was in 2012 or 2013, he acquired his first one. He had a light bulb moment.
"I felt ignorant of the instrument that I had held in my hands for over 40 years."
He didn't know anything about the development and "golden age" of the instrument. From there he went down a rabbit hole and the rest is history.
#Repost @cbcq ・・・ @tomjoepower recorded a really special interview with Bono on Saturday! That conversation will be up on our podcast and YouTube channel sometime soon. Stay tuned! https://www.instagram.com/p/CkoMecgoz1n/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Astronauts are not thrillseekers at all. They are people who have decided that some things in life are so important that they're worth taking a risk for... Exploring the rest of the universe, understanding how the world works, understanding the fundamental nature of physics, you know, to me that's worth taking a risk for.
I always love listening to Chris Hadfield, I often find his perspective and conversation enlightening (he was on CBCQ).
I was in the room (auditorium) when he was inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame, and I will always remember how he intently and intensely stressed that when you look at the Earth from space, there are no borders, but humans everywhere. It resonated deeply with my own beliefs, that this Earth we live on is no one’s property and belong to each and every one of us, and that there is ‘kind’ in humankind; compassion should be the instinctive feeling between all of us.
And I’m very curious to read The Apollo Murders, his debut foray into fiction writing!

We both shared our thoughts on female representation in hip hop, whether or not your loved ones need to be fans of your work and why Tyler Perry might need some help. Tablo (@blobyblo) is a Korean Canadian hip-hop star and the frontman of the group Epik High, which recently released its 10th album, Epik High Is Here 下 (Part 2).
In April, Epik High wrapped up its North American tour with two sets at Coachella, but 12 years ago, the group almost broke up. Tablo was the target of false rumours that made international headlines and almost ended his career.
His story is featured in a new podcast, Authentic: The Story Of Tablo. He spoke with @tomjoepower about this surreal chapter of his life and how music helped him find his way back.

It's bittersweet in that the ride is over. [Kim's Convenience is] something that is such an intrinsic part of my career and my life. It's opened up so many doors for me. I'm forever grateful and humbled... and I'm also very proud.
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, to Talia Schangler, on CBC Q.
It is very bittersweet for me to, that this lovely show ended. So much so that I haven’t been able to watch the last season yet. I keep it for a time when I will need comfort, like a treat or a warm hug; because I know it will bring me joy, like Kim’s Convenience has from the very start. And probably a few tears too, but maybe then I’ll be ready to say goodbye...
