I don’t believe in god, but I believe that you’re my saviour.
Most likely ooc Geta and inaccuracies galore.
You shouldn’t be allowed to be as near to him as you were in this situation. Emperor Geta was corruption, death, cruelty and inhumane as they come with the sickening grin and pleasure he took from the senseless slaughter of men that he merely viewed as entertainment.
You shouldn’t be anywhere near a man who’s entire being should disgust you greatly to the point where you refuse to be within the same room as him. His hands bore the blood of the innocent but he’d look upon them with a sadistic smile as he demanded for more violence, more madness, more bloodshed to be performed as if his dark soul wasn’t given it’s proper fill.
So why was it you were here within the grandiose gardens that he had made specifically for you to enjoy your morning readings of poetry? Why was it that while his gifts consisted of jewellery that you were expect to wear within the presences of other powerful people, servants and civilians alike; Geta would also buy you books a plenty of your favourite poets, who’s hands weaved words together so seamlessly as though they were spent weaving pure gold in the most desirable clothes in another life.
So why was it that you found yourself staring into his dark eyes, which possessed the ability to be devoid of empathy, but yet gaze upon you with a softness unlike any other as the light made them warm like honey or a thick substance like syrup; gazing at you as though he was seeing you for the first time all over again, as if you weren’t already his to have and to hold in your shared chambers. His hair that was often accompanied by a golden laurel was as fiery and unyielding as he was but in certain angles it looked soft to the touch, and you would know as your fingers would often be buried in it per Geta’s insistence in the privacy of one another, away from prying eyes where it’s just you and Geta.
His temperament flared like a roaring fire, causing everyone within radius of him to flinch or fall silent with immediate effect. Yet with you his fire was more easily managed, with some slight movements where his irrationality got the best of him and you had to leave for the library or the gardens, allowing him the time alone be to air out his anger, only for him to seek you out afterwards with a heaving chest and wild eyes; His hands would soon come to cradle your face and his forehead would press against yours as he finds his calm and composure once more within your presence as he idly stroked your cheeks with his thumb.
Geta draped you in lavish clothes of silk and jewellery crafted from gold and precious stones and or gems to emphasise that you were his and only his, not even his brother was allowed to have space within your heart when he was concerned, only him as your husband was allowed to occupy any and all space that your heart was allowed to have. ‘The gods can take what they please but I won’t let them have you, for you are mine and if I must defy them to keep you in my arms then I shall make myself their enemy for your heart.’ He’d often say as he kisses your forehead with an uncharacteristic tenderness.
‘You promise too much my love.’ You replied as you close your eyes, breathing him in. ‘One might think that you hold genuine affection for me as a person and not property you’ve claimed and see it as weakness.’ You add, only speaking of the truth but Geta’s grip on your face only tightens by a little and his breath fanning your face came out uneven.
‘I’ve always held affection for you, always.’ He rebuttals.
‘No. You were possessive over me and would cut the tongues of other men who dared speak honeyed words towards me.’ You tell him, smiling softly as you opened your eyes to look into his darker ones as they went through a multitude of emotions. ‘You only hold true affection for me now that you see that I can calm the fire within your heart and put those thoughts that poison your head to rest, beyond that I am nothing more than a possession.’
‘No.’ Geta barks but it doesn’t phase you as it would others for his hands still held you softly and lovingly as his he presses his forehead further against yours, eyes glancing down at your lips with temptation eating away at his heart and soul, urging him to close the distance between the two of you and consume you like you’ve consumed him unknowingly. ‘While I may tear out the tongues of others, my heart is only occupied by you, it bleeds you, beats for you- feel for yourself.’ He then brings one of your hands tightly to his chest, allowing you a moment to feel his heart reach out for your palm within him.
‘See?’ He whispers softly, letting go of your hand when he was confident that your hand would stay on his chest, listening to his heart as his hand now crept it’s way under your chin and caressing your jaw. ‘You consume me in ways I cannot fathom and I have grown to become addicted to your sweet words as you read from your poetry book aloud to me, succumbing to your every touch as though you were touching my soul, I want to be a husband you can be proud of and I intend to do so by doing this.’ Before you could ask what he was on about, Geta plants his lips against yours, weaving his lips through yours as he pulls you against him, not allowing for a single bit of space to exist between the two of you.
You hum in delight as you reciprocate the kiss, allowing yourself to be consumed by Geta and his passion, your other hand reaches to grip his shoulder for support when you felt his tongue trail your bottom lip before entering your mouth, causing your legs to become numb as you allowed him to all you were within the kiss with the intention of allowing yourself to indulge in all he was as well.

shimmer ‘n glimmer
summary: what’s their favourite piece of jewellery on you?
chars: ayato, alhaitham, diluc, pantalone, kazuha, wanderer, albedo, kaeya, xiao, childe, thoma, cyno, tighnari, kaveh.
warnings: sfw, established relationship, lmk if i missed any, slightly proofread.

Necklaces - Ayato, Alhaitham, Diluc, Pantalone
They adore the way the elegant piece illuminates your whole face and makes you look so devastatingly beautiful. (if that was even possible in their eyes). Somehow knows just which ones suit you best, to your utter surprise. Just beware; if you ask for some assistance, be weary that you might end up buying the whole store. Ask about it, and they’ll reply, 'You said you wanted to get the ones that looked nice on you, and that’s what I did.’
Rings - Kazuha, Wanderer, Albedo
They love how it’s simple yet also intimate in a way. To them, it’s a promise of forever love, shown by the matching accessories wrapped around both of your fingers. Truly, it doesn’t matter if it’s been made with the finest stones or most precious minerals; they’d (secretly) still be content with simple paper rings handcrafted by the both of you.
Bracelets - Kaeya, Xiao, Childe, Thoma
They like how it’s easy to wear and secure without the lingering fear of it getting lost. Very big fans of randomly attaching cute little charms every now and then. You’d wake up one morning with a new charm added, and then another. It’s a reminder of how important you are to them. And to them, it’s a rather special way of displaying their love for you.
Earrings - Cyno, Tighnari, Kaveh
The first time they noticed your earrings, they were completely and utterly transfixed. almost hypnotised by the little glints it made with each of your movements. It was so distracting. You were always so distracting, but in such an addictive and bewitching way. It became a little weakness for them, but they sure aren’t complaining.

more silent love:

pairing: jungkook x reader
genre: fluff || non-idol au
summary: jungkook’s book of silent love
tags/ warnings: more fluff, they’re in love it’s kinda sickening, more silent ways to say i love you. i am once again sleepy and thinking of the cute kinda love
notes: part two of this fic, but can be read as a standalone :D
where you can find all my other work!!
. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆.
The list of silent love is a forever growing one.
A small notebook sits on the kitchen table, one you had never bothered to pick up. Though Jungkook likes to spend quiet evenings alone, handwriting far from legible as he scribbles down each of these precious moments.
Memories set in stone as the ink seeps into flimsy paper; perfect, beautiful, love tucked between pages like his own little secret.
As of late, the both of you spend Sunday afternoons learning how to bake bread. A new type of loaf every week, flour clinging to clothes and smiles tugging at both your lips. It had become your own personal mission to never buy bread again, taking hours out the afternoon, simply basking in the company of one another as you learn something new.
He finds himself associating the smell of fresh bread to you. Quirk of a smile tugging at his cheeks as he walks past bakeries, fleeting memory of you in the forefront of his mind. A permanent home you've burrowed.
Jungkook, of course, likes to make you sandwiches with your homemade bread. Some mornings waking up, quietly slipping out of bed before you wake to pack you lunch, sweet little note slipped into your bag before he hears your footsteps patter out the bedroom, sluggish as you wake up.
And on those mornings your patience wears a little too thin, the world a little too much for you to take so early in the day; Jungkook will make sure to sit you down in front of the vanity. Where he detangles your hair ever so gently. Careful as he helps you put your earrings in– he’d gotten quite good over time, learning how to match your jewellery to what you were wearing. Observant in all your favorite pieces that he knew he could never go wrong with.
Every night as he showers, you sit yourself up on the kitchen counter, reaching for Jungkook’s favorite herbal teas. And every night, as he dries his hair, slinking into the kitchen, there will always be a tea there waiting for him.
He wonders how you’d learnt to time it perfectly. Knowing when to pour the hot water with just enough time before he gets out of the shower where the temperature is perfect. So he can easily slip under a blanket with you, your cold feet warmed up between his thighs as he sips sleepy tea and you doze off beside him.
He’d learnt you loved when he made you heart-shaped pancakes. And as much as he always eyes the cute little pancake pans online, there will always be something slightly more rewarding about his own hand-crafted hearts that have you giggling into his mouth– lips syrup sticky and sweet. That slight effort more just to see you smile forever lighting up his life.
He likes to watch you smile as you re-read your favourite books. Where he’d taken time out of his lunch breaks to respond to all the annotations you’d made on your first read through.
He’d glance up at you from his phone as the pen glides across the page, your own mind conjuring up replies to his questions and comments. Like that in itself was its own love language. Silent words slipped between pages of stories that aren't your own, words that only the two of you will ever see. A glimpse into your mind and in return a peek into his.
Every time he is the cause of your smile, his chest goes warm and his heart feels fluttery and light. So gooey warm and raw and lovely and so many words, so many thoughts and feelings all at once he will never be able to truly explain it in words. And maybe that’s why he likes to write down all the precious moments you share. Because that is love. The epitome of love in every sense of the word and it's meaning and yet, it's more than that.
It is your shared love in words without fancy vocabulary and poems and unheard confessions of adoration that will never leave the corners of his mind. Simply unreadable gibberish to hold each of these moments in time, cradled against his beating heart, so that even when the both of you leave this world, part of your love will live forever between the pages of that book.
Because that's what your love is. An eternal thing that will dance between the stars after death and kiss the both of you in your graves as you blossom into new life. Sure to meet one another again no matter where you end up.
You are Jungkook's forever, even if that means he has to scour the earth to find that little notebook, to relive those memories and learn to love you the right way again.

They wanted to get their hands on the wedding invitation - that one card can pay months of their mortgage LOL. That wedding was crazy to say the least - Anant gave out Audemars Piguet watches worth almost 300k in USD to some of his movie star "friends", the whole family was dripping in the rarest and most expensive diamonds and precious stone jewelleries, they were feeding people for weeks and even Mark Zuckerberg was admiring Anant's one of a kind watch saying he gotta get one despite not being a watch lover himself. Just a few snippets of the incidents which says so much about the opulent life of the Ambanis.
Rachel doesn't even return back the heels she forced the production house to buy after Reitman's shoot, why would the Ambanis want to be near her haha!
She isn't even on their radar, let alone on an invite list.

In her 13 years as creative director of the French jewellery house Boucheron, Claire Choisne’s mood boards have featured some unusual suspects.
This January, she introduced the latest high jewellery collection with a picture of Prince Philip waving at crowds during the coronation in 1953.
He’s decked out in his Admiral of the Fleet finery, decorated with military medals and orders of chivalry, white ribbons fluttering at his shoulders.
‘OK, Prince Philip is not my absolute muse – but I love this picture,’ says Choisne via video call from the Tucson Gem Show, where she is shopping for the stones that will feature in the house’s 2026 collections.
She was drawn to the unexpectedly feminine details of the late Duke of Edinburgh’s ceremonial uniform.
‘You feel the power and the strength, but at the same time, there are all these couture details: bows, ribbons, embroidery. It’s a paradox.’
She decided it was the perfect way to interpret the well-trodden high jewellery theme of ‘couture.’
‘I didn’t want to do something too girly or cheesy. I wanted to give strength to the pieces. When I saw this picture, I said to myself, “OK, now I know how to manage the creation of this collection.”’

The resulting 24-piece collection, The Power of Couture, is the latest chapter in Boucheron’s annual Histoire de Style series, which sees Choisne reinterpret designs or themes from the house’s 166-year history.
Its founder, Frédéric Boucheron, was the son of a draper and so the archive teems with diamond-set bows, ribbons and lace, with gold worked into supple-as-silk scarves.
A lace-like shoulder adornment made circa 1880 was a Belle Epoque predecessor of today’s white gold and diamond epaulettes, whose overlapping loops were inspired by a tiara made in 1902 for the Princess of Wales, later Queen Mary, Prince Philip’s grandmother-in-law.
Clipped across the shoulders, they’re a precious take on the traditional tasselled gold epaulettes of naval uniforms.
They also transform into cuffs; such versatility is a hallmark of the collection.
A set of 15 medal brooches can be strung into a bib necklace of epic proportions.
A rock-crystal and diamond bow can fasten to the shoulder or chest, or be fashioned into a multi-wear necklace, while its central diamond can be plucked off to become a ring.
A braided aiguillette can be worn military-style across the chest, draped around the waist, or disassembled into brooches and a bracelet.

‘In ceremonial attire, there are so many rules that you have to respect. For the collection, I wanted the opposite,’ says Choisne.
‘I wanted people to be able to play freely and design their own style.’
She sees the collection as a ‘kit’ with an almost infinite number of styling combinations.
Her dream, she says, would be for one client to buy the lot. Whether that client is male or female is of little importance.
‘A long time ago, the people who wore high jewellery were men. The maharajas, the tsars, the kings. The biggest and most beautiful pieces were designed for men.’
One of Boucheron’s most famous clients was the Maharaja of Patiala who, in 1928, had his guards cart some 7,571 diamonds and 1,432 emeralds from The Ritz to the Boucheron boutique, to be set into 149 extraordinarily opulent jewels – a commission that inspired New Maharajas, the house’s 2022 Histoire de Style high jewellery collection.

Sir Bhupinder Singh, Maharaja of Patiala, GCSI GCIE GCVO GBE (12 October 1891 – 23 March 1938)
'Today,' continues Choisne, 'I don’t want to do pieces for men or for women. I want to make beautiful and meaningful pieces. And I want to show that it’s beyond gender.’
She says that men do buy and wear Boucheron high jewellery, but she doesn’t know the precise proportion of male customers.
‘I almost don’t want to know exactly, because I’m sure of my idea. And maybe we have to show them that it’s a good one.’
Three years ago, Boucheron’s art deco-inspired Histoire de Style collection was photographed on male and female models – a first among Place Vendôme’s traditional maisons.
‘I knew that some of the pieces were even stronger on men. But the idea of it was almost weird at that time. People asked me, “Are you sure, high jewellery on men?” And my answer was, “Yes, definitely,”’ says Choisne.

The Power of Couture collection, conversely, was exclusively photographed on and modelled by women; another deliberately defiant move.
‘When you think of ceremonial attire, you naturally think of men. So I wanted to show the opposite. It doesn’t make sense for me to choose between men and women. Nowadays we can do what we want.’
A pair of embroidery-inspired diamond ferns have an ethereal, Greek goddess-like beauty when worn as a headpiece.
But one can also imagine them pinned to a tuxedo, echoing the actor Regé-Jean Page, who wore a feather-shaped diamond Boucheron brooch at last year’s Oscars.

Although it may take a Liberace-channelling peacock to carry off a lacy diamond collar, even the most bling-averse gentleman could be tempted to affix a few rock crystal and diamond buttons to his dress shirt.
Choisne says Boucheron’s clients span the whole spectrum.
‘It’s the same for men as it is for women: some are more classical, and some are super edgy.’
Culture plays a role. ‘Maybe European men are a bit more traditional, whereas in Asia men can be more open-minded when it comes to style.’
It was important that the Power of Couture collection wasn’t too literal, says Choisne; it couldn’t feel like fancy dress.
A restrained, all-white palette of rock crystal and diamonds helps; she champions texture and detail over bold hues or glitzy brilliance.
The pieces are labelled with their carat weight along with the hours involved in their creation – many run into the thousands.
‘If you put a lot of little diamonds everywhere, it’s easy. It will shine, so you have no doubt that it’s precious,’ says Choisne.
‘But I prefer to find preciousness with purity of design and elegance, which come from the craftsmanship. It’s not about having lots of diamonds. The number of hours is what makes it high jewellery.’
The transformable Noeud bow, for example, is crafted from hundreds of individually cut lines of frosted rock crystal, threaded together through their diamond edging to evoke the texture and fluidity of grosgrain ribbon.
‘It would be much faster and easier to engrave a single piece, but I wanted it to be really flexible. So they cut every little line by hand. Each one is a different length. It’s crazy work to achieve that.’
That’s 2,600 hours of crazy work, to be precise.
Elsewhere, sandblasted rock crystal is knitted together into the flexible, five-strand Tricot choker.
’The idea was to give an illusion of knit work,’ says Choisne. ‘The unpolished rock crystal gives the feeling of softness, like wool.’

The Médailles feature grosgrain-effect rock-crystal ribbons, from which hang 15 medallions of sculpted rock crystal overlaid on to beds of brilliant-cut diamonds.
‘We cut the rock crystal with the glyptic technique – it’s much more complicated than engraving. Then we set diamonds underneath so they are a bit blurred. For me, it’s more magical.’
It’s clear that Boucheron’s craft workers relish Choisne’s technical challenges.
They are currently making the pieces that will launch in July 2025 (Boucheron presents two high jewellery collections a year), while Choisne is finalising designs for 2026 and developing her ideas for 2027.
It’s not always easy to sleep with so many different concepts buzzing around her brain, she admits.
Her approach to design mirrors the demands she asks of her atelier. ‘I don’t love it when it’s too easy.’

So after listening to The Prehistory Guys podcast and watching their YouTube channel @ThePrehistoryGuys I had a mighty need for some stone age jewellery. As I couldn't find any that I thought looked authentic, (and that were in my price range), I ended up buying a jewellery making course on Udemy instead.
A long while ago I had gone on a stone-age tech course which taught flint knapping in the morning, and cord-making & bead drilling in the afternoon.
(This culminated with using the best of our flints, the nettle twine we had made, and some birch sap tar to make a hafted stone tool, but that's a different story.)
So I already had a set of beads that I had drilled myself and which I had told myself I would one day learn how to string. This was obviously the ideal moment.
There were not enough for a full necklace, so I had to supplement them with some wood and bone beads I had left from a necklace I had been given as a child and thought was creepy. But when that was done it looked like this:

And honestly that was not very stone-age looking because, frankly, they were better at bead making than I was. Stone age beads tend to be donut shaped, and also more colourful than this. But these are my beads and they're now wearable, so I'm wearing them.
I was still dissatisfied with how little it was like a genuine archeological find, though, so I went out to the charity shops and bought up a bunch of second hand necklaces, which contained good beads but which were ugly enough that I didn't mind cutting them up to recycle them. (A shell one, one with some great mother-of-pearl beads, one with quills and bullseye beads, and one of random tumbled semi-precious stones.)
I also ventured into the wilds of jewellery suppliers and bought three strings of gemstones (agate, green scolecite and bumblebee jasper) and some silver clasps - a more major expense!) And I made myself another necklace which was slightly longer and much closer to authentic.

They look great together, and I'm very happy that I have my stoneage necklaces that I had wished for.
But then I had a whole bunch of beads and wire and clasps and the jewellery making bug left over. So I made a couple more and put them on etsy because that's where I'd gone looking for stoneage necklaces to start with and hadn't found anything I liked.
Also on continuing research I've found that the Varna culture seems to have gone in heavily for whole strings of red beads, and the beads at Must Farm were largely green *and blue*. So I have ordered some carnelian to make a Varna inspired necklace, and no doubt I'll be making a Must Farm inspired piece or two as soon as I've saved up enough money to afford some turquoise and/or found a hideous turquoise necklace in a charity shop. Watch this space :)

After taking the afternoon off to recover from the ordeal at the Life Dome, Aerith, Ramiel, and Brucey visit the Silken Squall the next day. At the edge of Ank'Harel, twin rope bridges lead up to the floating city, wooden decks built on top of a magically solidified cloud as foundation. A variety of tents, wooden lean-tos, sheds, and the occasional metal structure litter a three tiered settlement that looks more like a carnival than a town. And the majority of performers and craftsmen are Air Genasi.
The trio arrive on the lowest deck of the squall and get breakfast from a stall. Nearby, they spot an automaton trying to sell pamphlets, and when it has moments alone, attempting to practice juggling. Aerith approaches and teaches the robot what she knows, and it is very impressed. It introduces itself as Bell, and explains the stamp book game her friend Guston is offering. The group like Bell, but assume Guston might be a scammer, so tell the robot they'll come by again later.

The Silken Squall - Linda Lithén
They visit a dedicated Jewellery store called Argent Light, and browse some wares, then visit a Winery called Barrel of Clouds, where an older Air Genasi named Turb tells them about a vermin problem. Shiny things and food have gone missing over the last couple weeks, and he suspects a nest of rats he's recently discovered in his cellar. Aerith and her allies offer to clear out the rats and he'll pay them.
They spot the rats immediately, but while they're slaying them, a volley of arrows appears from somewhere and starts a fire from one of the alcohol barrels. After dealing with the rats, they find a hole in the wall of the cellar leading into a tunnel dug through the cloud supporting the city.
Aerith scouts ahead and notices a variety of traps laid out to trip them up. Soon, she catches a pair of Kobolds, who answer their questions with violence. Ramiel and Brucey back up Aerith and they have soon found and defeated four Kobolds hiding behind Barrels or in the walls of the cloud tunnel. They leave one alive, named Plop, and intimidate it into leading them towards the Kobold leading this infestation.
Plop leads them through the tunnel, finding several piles of treasure, some more traps, and a few more Kobolds, which they all slay in front of Plop's eyes. Eventually they push through into the basement of an armory shop, and are ambushed by a group of Kobolds who had poorly fitted themselves out with weapons and armour too big for them. They are slightly more challenged by this group, but Aerith, Ramiel, and Brucey exterminate the Kobolds.
One of the Kobolds had a sack with all the stuff it had stolen, and they find jewels, potions, gold etc, and even a tattered copy of the Stamp Book. The trio assume this is the stolen goods Turb mentioned.
They take two Kobolds they had kept alive and bound back up with them, and Turb advises they should alert the Wyvernwinds, the de facto leaders of the Silken Squall. Caelus and Aurora Wyvernwind thank the party for their help, and give them a writ they can use as a Gift Card to pay for some of the goods on the Squall.
A little battered, but otherwise still excited by the markets, the group start to equate themselves with more of the shops on the squall. They first go to Kotter the blacksmith, and tell him why his basement was barred shut. They also buy some armour from him.
Next they revisit the jewel shop, and visit a bookstore, and a potion store, returning some of items they found in the Kobold's stash. They also collect some Stamps from these shops, having to get to know each merchant before guessing which stamp is theirs. At the potion store, they also get a request from the store owner's assistant to brave the caves around the city to find a precious stone called Ank'Harel Lapus.
Next session, the trio will visit more stores, get more stamps, and search for the Ank'Harel Lapus, with promise of quite the reward.
