How Yuya tries to swallow rage down, and how its thousand of needles rip through his throat. Serena, dear Serena, no better than him in the end (or perhaps much better, because she stopped and listened before he did.), with anger at the world as the undercurrent of their education.

And yet, none of them cut as deep as Tsukikage's quiet, silent fury. It is undercut by his acceptance's of Yuzu arguments ; of his welcoming of his former enemy as a temporary ally.

And Sora, Sora accepts it, and struggles to understand. Because Sora deserves, more than anyone else, to be the its target.

I just realized something -- based on your choices, both Clementine's and Louis's first direct human kill happens by accident (Eli and Dorian). Their reactions are very different though ...

Mmhmmm... if you play your cards right, Clementine can avoid directly killing the Stranger, Lee, and Kenny. I'm trying to think if there are any other opportunities where she can kill someone like that pre-ANF but I'm drawing a blank. I've replayed TFS a few times now but I haven't replayed the whole series for a long time.

But yeah, then ANF comes along and she shoots a guy, and then turns to Javi like "Okay you need to lie for me--" which most people do because it's Clementine and players often will do whatever she asks, whether it's something Javier would actually do or not. Personally, I think that's kind of a flaw with the choice, but at the same time, it can't really be helped? I don't think it's good to lie for her, honestly, even if she's really pissy about it.

Like I know it's an accident... but Clementine knows better than to point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, bad bullets or not, unless she intends to kill. Lee taught her that. She knows better. The first shot was enough to prove her point that the bullets don't fine, but then she shot again and whoops... that bullet fired, and now you have to deal with the consequences.

Even if it's not her first kill, it's still a good indication of how hardened she's become at that point. She doesn't show remorse for killing him, even if he's a prick who could've gotten her killed by giving her bad bullets, she just thinks about how she's going to get out of this: by lying.

Then there's Louis who kills Dorian and is a mess about it initially. Also an accident given Dorian snuck up behind him, but it's not like she was there for a friendly chat, y'know? He's clearly not okay afterward, but he still wants to go with Clementine to get AJ which I wish he would get more credit for.

But like I said before, Louis being one of the few in the Ericson crew who has directly killed someone is so interesting to me. Especially the way he talks about it later on, how he's glad he has it in him to kill because he gets it now, he gets that having a home means protecting it and his home isn't just Ericson anymore, his home is Clementine and AJ.

5. Does your Durge regret Orin’s death? Would they have saved her, if it were possible? Did they find a way to do so anyway?

Yesn't. "Fine" doesn't remember Orin nor cares for her a great detail. If anything he pities her for getting played by the gods like so many others. "Elli" however would be inconsolable. He did try his best to get Orin to leave the cult and protect her from the worst of it, so finding out he would eventually end up following family tradition and killing her would probably kill him as well. But luckily he ceased to exits by grace of amnesia so that's a bit of guilt he manages to shed I guess.

6. Does your Durge consider Orin a sibling? Do they think of her as family at all?

He projects his dead adoptive sister onto her and views her in a similar light however he's perfectly aware they aren't related in the way canon wants them to be.

Tldr; Sarevok survived, left for Kozakura (guess why) and eventually returned with a Helena, who is in no way shape or form related to him cuz she's a shape changer but neither he nor Tamoko were one, but he certainly knows how to hold grudges and concoct elaborate plans. Basically Orin and Helena were Sarevok (and later also in part Fines) attempt to completely dismantle the bhaalist faith and spit into Bhaals face. Long story.

14. Was there anything Orin and your Durge really admired about each other?

Orin liked his seriousness and dedication, Fine adored her free spirited mentality. Loving your downfall is hereditary, apparently even if you're not blood related!

20. Who got the Slayer form? Is there any jealousy or fear from the loser?

Fine had it, both pre and post tadpole (much apologies to the extended Thorm family). He has a twisted love hate relationship with it, especially while he can't remember the horrors™️ anymore, for Orin however it's a bit surprising but no big deal. She took him down once, and she's convinced she can again. Admirable of her tbh

The clock hands had only just reached that great big twelve at the top and yet Mio was already out at full-force as a volunteer for Top Pot Doughnuts, waving down any passers-by who might be in want of a free doughnut. Or two, or more. She wouldn't judge. Except that she was really only supposed to give out one per customer but, hey, let's not get bogged down on the details. Ever the chatterbox, she'd spent the whole week talking off the ears of any customer who'd let her and for her first target of the day, it'd be no different.

"Wow, the big parade's tomorrow, huh? It feels like it's come super quick," she said, almost wistfully, as she looked out toward the road with the distant sort of glimmer in her eye that suggested she was well in the midst of picturing it all. "I can't wait to see all the floats, I bet they'll be super pretty. Oh, have you bought any art yet? There's some really nice stuff there, a lot of really talented local artists and it's nice to support the community---" She stopped, abruptly, and sucked in her lips. Mio had a lot to say! But, because she always had a lot to say, she didn't suppose she needed to make it anybody else's problem. "Sorry, I'm talking a lot, huh? You want a doughnut?
