So, with the Y/N and Springtrap plan/Rabbit Restoration Project, I was already like: âIâm not really going to make a full fic for it.â But, then, I thought of the endings...
Then, I got a fun idea for the third option that I mentioned, and then it just kind of progressed immediately after that moment. So, yâknow. Anyways.
Here it is- Iâm not that certain if itâs all that great, buuuut...
â
Y/N hadnât understood why Springtrap had gotten up and abruptly leftâit was strange. He wasnât explaining.
They remembered him telling them: âIâll never leave you, love.â And... with how he had sounded, he seemed genuine.
It wasnât that strange of a set upâtheyâd already been living together ever since they chose to bring him back for restoring.
Now though, it had been a bit differentânot too much, but just slightly... due to the fact that they had chosen to get together.
They tried to keep him away from some people, thoughâconsidering one of the last times, someone broke in, wanting to steal his parts.
âOnly Max and my viewers seemed relaxed about him... now, at least.â Y/N had thought. It had definitely taken a bit of timeâeven them.
Throughout the whole walk, theyâd tried asking him questionsâand the rabbit would speak, yet, he wasnât revealing much.
Forty minutes ago, heâd finally mentioned *something*âat least they were getting somewhere. Literally and figuratively.
âA pizzeria...â Came the smooth, British voice from the restored rabbit. âThereâs someone I... need to pay a little visit to, Y/N.â
Thirty minutes ago, theyâd both stopped to rest. Or, Y/N did, and Springtrap simply waited alongside them.
Twenty minutes ago, Springtrap revealed that he knew they were getting closer. âYou should go home.â Heâd said.
Theyâd refused. âIâm staying with you, Spring. Weâll go back together after this.â
Ten minutes ago, the both of them had finally reached the pizzeria that Springtrap seemed insistent on going to.
From the outside... Y/N wasnât sure what to think. It was a Freddyâs locationâand until this moment, theyâd never actually been to one.
Entering the building, the first things that the two of them had been able to see was a massive stageâas well as a smaller one to the side.
There were a lot of games, too, and Y/N had almost been tempted to go and play oneâbut they chose not to.
Two minutes ago, the building had started to heat up. Y/N wasnât sure if it was their imagination or notâthey always felt a little hot.
After glancing at Springtrap, he hadnât seemed to notice. They still werenât very certain on what he could or couldnât feel.
A few seconds ago... the building went up in flames.
âOh my God!â Y/N hissed, eyes widening. The flames danced around, as smoke quickly rose.
They stumbled backwards, hitting Springtrapâs side. Looking up at him, he seemed to be far more focused on something else.
They could hear a new voiceâan unknown voiceâbeginning to speak from somewhere. Yet, they paid no attention, only focusing on Springtrap.
The entrances and exits were closing. They could see that from the corners of their eyes.
Springtrapâs attention finally snapped back to Y/N. âWe need to get you out of here! Now!â He said.
Before Y/N had the chance to say anything, they were lifted up by the rabbit, who began running through the flaming pizzeria.
There was the entrance that theyâd both gone throughâSpringtrap started hurrying over to it.
However... just as the rabbit and the human reached it, something abruptly closed over it, blocking the doors.
Growling in annoyance, Springtrap set Y/N beside him, and grabbed at the doors tightly.
The rabbit started pulling and tuggingâand then he started slamming his fists into itâeven kicking at it.
Yet, nothing happened. Growling again, Springtrap started to look around further, trying to find a different way.
A little distance away, in another room of the pizzeria, seemed to be a much smaller exit door. It hadnât been closed yet.
âWoah-!â Y/N was picked up by the rabbit once more, and he started making his way towards the exit.
âSpringtrap-!â
âShush, Y/N.â The fear slipped through the rabbitâs voice. It was starting to close. âYouâll get-â
A good distance away from the exit doorâa good distance from the two of themâa new, sudden voice rang out. âDaddy?!â
Y/N watched as the rabbit suddenly went still, the pair of ears atop his head twitching. He looked around. â...Elizabeth?â
Y/N frowned. â...Springtrap?â
For a few seconds, the rabbit looked around furtherâtowards where the voice had come from, back at Y/N, and the door.
He set Y/N down in front of him, his grey glowing eyes gently staring down at the human. Y/Nâs frown grew.
âSpringtrap, what-â
Springtrap placed his giant, metal hands on Y/Nâs shoulders. âY/N... go. I love you, my dear.â
âW- Springtrap, I-â The restored rabbit pulled them closer, placing his lips against theirs for just a moment, before releasing.
Before Y/N had the chance to do much elseâstill processing the fire situationâSpringtrap moved closer, and shoved them.
They gasped in surprise. His shove was enough to get them through the exit doorâand, just in time, too.
As Y/N stumbled out of the door, landing on their bottom, it snapped just a second or two later.
They sat there for a moment in silence, eyes wide.
âSpringtrap...?â Their voice cracked. They could feel their heart beginning to quicken. Y/N got to their feet.
âSPRINGTRAP!â They hurried towards the door, and started banging on it. âW-What are you doing?? Why did you do that?!â
Y/N kept banging against it. âI... we were going to leave together! I love you, too!â Theyâd heard that voice... who had it been?
Their fists began to hurt, so, Y/N stopped for a moment. Only to grab at the edgesâattempting to pry open the door.
In those moments before the fire, when theyâd both simply been looking around... Y/N hadnât noticed many entrances and exits.
They could feel their eyes becoming watery. âCome on, come on!â They kept trying to pry open the doorâalthough, it seemed useless.
After continuously trying for over two minutes, Y/N finally stopped, backing away. âI... Iâll get something! Iâll get something! Hold on!â
Y/N ran off.
~~
They considered going back to their house to grab something to helpâbut, that would have taken far too long with the circumstances.
So, rather than that, they ran a good distance from the burning pizzeriaâignoring anything that may be happening around them.
They werenât keeping track of how long they were gone forâyet, Y/N had assumed with, how fast they were going, it was only a few minutes.
...It wasnât.
After finally managing to find *something* that could potentially help with getting inside, and getting the rabbit, they hurried back.
The item fell out of their hands as they arrived. Y/N stared up at the sight.
There was no longer a fireâit didnât seem like it. For however long Y/N was gone... the building was already in a horrible condition.
One of the more noticeable things to Y/N, however, was that there seemed to be a large hole in the wall. âA way inside...â
Hurrying through the wall, Y/N started running, trying not to trip and fall over anything laying around.
Those animatronics were still on the stageâthough, some of them were fallen over. All of them didnât look the greatest now.
âSpringtrap!â Nothing.
âSPRING-â Just as they entered another area, they tripped and fell. Confused, Y/N looked back. âA metal wire?â It looked like it belonged to an animatronic.
Getting back to their feet, Y/N continued running around, calling out for the rabbitâand simply getting no response.
Their eyes were starting to become watery again, but Y/N quickly started to wipe before anything managed to fall.
Entering the next room in their search, Y/N sighed. âSPRING-â Getting a full look in the room, they gasped.
To the back of the room, there was a broken clown girl animatronic on the ground. Bits of the destroyed pizzeria were on top of her.
âShe must have gotten stuck...â
Not too far from the clown girl... was a rabbitâSpringtrap. He was laying face down, motionless, and burned.
âSpringtrap!â Y/N yelled. A second passed, before they managed to get their feet to start moving again.
After a moment, they reached Springtrapâs side, falling to their knees. âS-Springtrap?!â They shook him.
He remained still. Unmoving. Grabbing the sides of him, Y/N managed to move the animatronic rabbit, so that he was on his back.
So that Y/N could see his face.
His eyes were openedânormally, his gray eyes had a sort of glow to them. But, now? There was nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Y/N could feel themself starting to shake. They could feel the tears, finally beginning to spill. âHey... hey! Wake up! Do... something!â
They let go for a moment, before reaching over, and gently grabbing the sides of his face. âThis... this isnât funny, Springtrap! Say something! Move!â
A moment later, they dropped him againâalbeit carefully. Through their tears, they looked around the roomâjust for a moment, before their focus fell back onto him.
âWhy... why would you-â Y/N started, only to be interrupted by their own sob. The human shut their eyes tightly.
They inched closer to the motionless rabbitâmore than they already were, before wrapping their arms around him, and their head fell onto his chest.
âI love you...â

MORE THOUGHTS AND DEVELOPMENT (If ya can even call it that) FOR MY DADTRAP AU
Iâve done a lil more hyperfixating researching, and I can now officially say I know almost all the basics about the fnaf timeline and lore!!! And I seriously mean the basics. To keep William/Springtraps goals consistent for this AU, there might be sliiiiiighty less child murder than there is in canon. Just an itty bit less. But who knows.
The AUâs story hasnât all been figured out but Iâve got Springtrapâs character pretty much down!
Springtraps personality
Extremely low empathy.
Too much pride to admit fault.
Secretly hates himself đ
Genuinely cares about his kids but sucks at showing it or even recognising this fact for himself.
Doesnât understand people or how in the world they think and especially feel.
Despite not understanding people heâs a surprisingly great manipulator.
He acts entirely on logic and reason rather than emotions.
Is aroace (doesnât know) and only got married to get his abusive parents off his back.
Probably autistic. (I didn't even decide this cause I'm autistic and want more representation. It's just the way I've written him that gives him super big 'tism vibes)
Feels closer connection to his robots than humans or animals.
Has chronic pain and fatigue after getting springlocked yay!
Has always felt disconnected from other humans even when he was one himself.
Has never had hot chocolate made with milk before. Only water. That's how you know he's a psychopath.
Story changes and Williamâs motivations
These are all just concepts and stuff might change. Right now almost everything plays out mostly the same as it does in canon. The pizzeria, the 5 dead kids that possess the animatronics, etc etc. One problem Iâm having is what Iâm gonna do with Charlie/Puppet. I know she was Williamâs business partnerâs daughter, and William killed her, and she possessed the Puppet. But I donât think anyone really knows WHY he killed her. And itâs kinda important I know for this AU to make sense- So either Iâm just gonna have to come up with a reason that fits, or she just straight up doesnât die. Most likely Charlie will still die and possess the puppet. We shall see tho! :]
The main changes in this AU will be Williams motivations and his actions. Heâs still a kid murderer. But he doesnât go killing all the kids simply because he can, or because heâs seeking immortality for himself, or any of the supposed reasons he killed the kids. My idea right now is Elizabeth, Williams daughter, was suffering from a terminal illness with only a few months at most to live (What illness I dunno but I donât think it matters that much)
William wanted to be a good father for even just once and began seeking ways to somehow save her. He eventually discovered that someone could essentially be made immortal by stuffing their dead body into an animatronic, and they would âlive onâ with their soul possessing it. Iâm not sure how exactly the idea came to his head. Maybe the crying child possessed Golden Freddy after the chomp malfunction and gave William the idea to test the theory some more. And he thought if it works, he can freakin stuff Elizabethâs dead body into an animatronic and âsaveâ her that way. As I said these are all â¨concepts⨠so there will probably be plot holes and plenty of questions of âhow thisâ and âwhy thatâ But it wouldnât be Fnaf without all that would it? gjdgfkfgfjh
Elizabeth will probably still end up possessing Circus Baby, but how she does will most likely be different. Maybe Elizabeth finally succumbed to her illness, William wasnât expecting it this soon and he didnât build any kinda robot for her ready, so he shoves her into Circus Baby without thinking while he had the chance, and thatâs pretty much all I got so far!! :D
Changing William/Springtraps motivations affected the entire story a lil bit more than I was expecting but hopefully I shouldnât have to adapt too much more-
I havenât done anything really beyond fnaf 2 so maybe expect something past that soonish!!

Aha I hate not being able to edit asks (killing killing)
ANYWAY.
I imagine he's hard to get through to. I see a lot of myself in his personality, especially back in highschool, so I can pretty accurately describe what's up in his mind.
He hates himself. Thoroughly. Cannot stand himself. Every time he looks in the mirror, he can't recognize his own face. He's too much, he's not enough, he's nothing, he'll never be Right. Any compliment slides off of him like water. He doesn't believe you. He disassociates often. His reality is warped, in his mind, to always be against him.
So naturally, he smiles it away. He pretends he's better than everyone else. Because he's terrified of telling anyone he's... not. Telling anyone that he's trapped in his own "skin" and he hates it.
Yknow that Springtrap frame where he's tearing apart his own head? Yeah Spamton would try it, at least once.
He's a failure in a city that only cares about success. About how much you're worth. He definitely has trauma from his Addison days, as well as when he was bullied in the mansion. His friends and possibly family left him. He's uh. Really lonely.
He thinks kindness is a weakness to exploit. To manipulate. Because that's what happened to him. He isn't mean per se, but he doesn't go out of his way to be nice either. Not to mention the one person he put his trust into kinda fuckin disappeared. He isn't exactly jumping at an opportunity to "make friends"
He's clinging to his old fame like a fucking lifeline. Because acknowledging himself Now would break him. A puppet tied up in strings. He's not even in control of his own life. He values choices so much, he can't help giving them out like candy. "Choose this thing, it's your choice I won't force you, but choose it."
All that being said, he's also just. Happy to have fun, I think. I read a fic where he constantly tries to jumpscare Reader when they visit. I love that. The idea of him playing pranks on.. well, his would be friends, is really cute to me. I doubt he would do something as extreme as dunking them in acid or anything, but tripping them or scaring them feels like something he would do.
An important thing ppl tend to miss is that he wants people to Suffer, but not to Die. He gets mad in snow grave because you ruined the fun. You killed everyone And you're stealing the fountain? What's he supposed to do afterwards?!? He wants to rule the city, not destroy it.
I feel like, after peeling away his walls, he's generally a silly guy. And seriously loyal. I mean, he's Still protecting Mike's name, even after supposedly Years of not seeing him. He's ride or die for anyone he cares about. And those people get to see him be a bit goofier.
There's like. 7 million more things I want to say but I am. Tired of typing on my phone đ

thought about my other Fnaf Rewrite (the one that started out as a concept because i was watching a few of those Fnaf VHS/Ransomware videos and got to thinking...and then i fleshed it out too much), so have some fun facts about it!
each of the protagonists technically has a different reason for why they're Going Through It: Aiden (Fnaf 1) is still in the building because they're waiting to be picked up, and later on it's because he's waiting for the nightguard to come so that he can leave without William catching them. Taylor (Fnaf 2) was generally left behind by her mom, but also stayed behind to find out what happened to his friend. Hollyhock/Holly (Fnaf 3...and 6) was there due to her father being an employee, but also to learn more about Freddy's past and free the spirits of the dead kids, and later (Fnaf 6) it returns to put an end to everything. Rory (Fnaf 4) is just having some trauma nightmares, among dealing with...other things (tl;dr - William Has A Very Normal Coping Mechanism For Dealing With The Loss Of His Youngest Son, Which Is Definitely Not Him Kidnapping A Child And Trying To Force Said Kid To Replace(???) His Dead Son). and finally, Stormie (Fnaf 5) decided to break into an abandoned diner (Fredbear's) and then things went south after discovering the Corpse Rabbit⢠(they survived, but uh. kinda got maimed. xe's fine, though, if extremely traumatized đ)
the pronouns of these kids: Aiden (he/they), Taylor (she/he), Holly (she/it/xe), Rory (he/xe/she), and Stormie (they/xe/it)
listen, i'm not saying that i dislike the building designs for the various locations, i just think it'd be scarier if they all gave off various different liminal space vibes.
the Fnaf 1 location gives off "low budget Chuck E. Cheese Rip-Off that's at least trying to appeal to kids, but looks very creepy after dark" vibes. furniture seems cheap or clearly reused. decorations are kinda lackluster, but most kids don't really care. the arcade is the only room that doesn't feel unsettling in the darkness.
the Fnaf 2 location is big and grandiose, being well-decorated with many activities for children. it feels warmer...but with a darkness underneath it. the vibes are meant to feel like someone trying to cover up their sins with pretty wallpaper and pray that no one looks too close at it. also, Kids Cove is now decorated to be more like a playroom. yes, there's also a ball pit.
the Fnaf 3 location is more like. a museum? kinda like a place displaying the darker history of Freddy's, made by the company and families of the victims. a way of trying to move forward, to acknowledge the company's sins and start all over. it's practically a monument to the company's darker moments. Springtrap was meant to be in an exhibit dedicated to Fredbear's and the murders, some of the earlier horrors, if you will. he was kept in a display among a few other various items. the only entrance was through a door that only the employees knew of. well...the nightguards (and Holly) have a problem; it seems like the staff aren't the only ones who are aware of the door. all in all: vibes are meant to be an unfinished museum, where the emptiness and darkness is less scary, but more...dread-inducing.
Fnaf 4...for most nights, you are in the Fnaf 4 bedroom, but probably with extra details in there. but on Nights 5 and 6, you are in a different nightmare: inside the original Freddy's, being chased by O'Hare, but...more nightmarish, covered in blood with sharper teeth. the building itself is more nostalgic: it's like seeing a Showbiz Pizza or older Chuck E. Cheese in it's prime...after dark. there is a back room that you cannot enter; when peering through the crack in the door, there's blood...and someone's hand and wrist showing, with a bracelet.
in Sister Location, you are in an abandoned Fredbear's. while nothing attacks you the first two nights, it's...unsetting. tables and booths gathering dust. confetti and streamers still littering the ground. chairs knocked over, an empty stage. by the end of Night 2, however, you know that danger is coming; the door to the back room is mysteriously open. you sure as fuck didn't open that door.
in Fnaf 6, you return to the museum, now completed. You've Now Gotta 'Night At The Museum' This Shit. basically, it's like Fnaf 3, but less empty and dark...well, less dark during the day at least. this is basically Fnaf 3 but You're In More Danger Now.
anyway!! will draw these guys (and maybe some scenery) later. when i actually have time. because i've fallen in love with these lil guys :]
I AM SAYING YAY AND YIPPEE AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE!!!!! And you may not be saying that you dislike the og fnaf locations, but I am saying that. I think they could have been given more thought and I think you've done an absolute bangin job of it here
