Uhhhh UHHH I DID A TMA UNDERTALE AU (Archivetale????????!!!!!)

okay so i wrote this shit at like 2 fucking am and im a writer so i wrote it like a summary u find at the back of a book instead as a proper description of an au idea and im not gonna edit or remake it to make it legible cause sleep deprived me is a me i dont mess with

I would love to ramble more about this au if anyone else is interested tho. I have so many ideas

my fucking undertale hyperfixation came out of the dead to smash my tma hyperfixation and now we have this mess:

One day Assgore notices a certain position has gone empty for quite some time and decides to fill it.

Now Alphys is the Head Scienctist of the Underground's Royal Archives and has a large backlog of work she has to get through. A wonderful position for an equally worthy scientist.

If only Alphys didnt lie about the creation of a soul. 

Well at least she has her girlfriend (maybe?! its a little scary to think about) to support her. Even if Alphys doesn't really deserve her either. Not that Undye would approve of that frame of mind.

The more Alphys looks into the strange events recorded within the royal Archives, the more Alphys's eyes widen and see a whole new world underneath the world of monsters she came from.

The monsters weren't the only things the humans sealed with the barrier...

Aware of and Beheld by the fourteen fears that haunt monsterkind in their shared prison, Alphys buries herself, and those closest to her, deeper into her work and the work of the previous Head Scientist. 

A man who speaks in hands, and no longer exists in the memory of anyone in the underground.

Somehow, Alphys must find a way to banish the Dread Fears once and for all until the fifteen and final Fear, the Exitinction, falls from the surface and Changes the Underground into a wasteland of wind and Dust. All the while keeping herself from giving into the temptation of endless knowledge and Undyne's urge to give into endless Slaughter.

Oh, definitely Killer. Hands down.

He was in my notes and homework margins in school. He was on the excess receipt paper when I worked at my old job. He is my phone background, my music playlist cover that I drew for him. He was who I doodle as as warmup/just to draw.

He lives in my head 24/7, 365 /hj

I think Cross's overworking tendencies would come from him feeling guilty and 'punishing' himself but also just, he has to keep his mind occupied at all times. Because if he starts to think he's going to cry. So he tries to always be doing something, be it drawing, doing chores, training (training especially) just to keep himself distracted. Just so he can't let his mind wander to his AU, to what he did.

Problem is he keeps it up until he's basically ready to collapse and has to have one of the guys come in to help him chill. I think it'd be cute to have Killer come into the training room like 'Cross what the fuck are you doing?' 'it's been four hours. Four hours' and of course Cross is stubborn and he's deflecting but eventually he just can't anymore. He's been fleeing his own mind, his own thoughts relentlessly and he's been doing so much. He's physically and mentally exhausted and he can't help but break down. And so Killer now has a sobbing Cross on his hands. And maybe he hugs him and tells him he's okay until Cross passes out..

Swap x dream angst

I want there to be a swap centric fic where blue feels replaced by cross and almost betrayed(not really in hindsight but it’s how he feels)by dream once cross gets added to the group and the other two start to fall in love cause blue thought he was dreams special litter soldier and for the longest time had been the level headed down to earth mortal that held the group down but now cross is here almost doing the exact same thing(not really and there would be major differences that does actually matter but this is blues pov so it’s how he feels and sees the situation) and taking his place and worst of all, cross is an even better fighter! before cross came he had been content in just staying friends with dream and admiring him in secret but now that cross is here he can’t help but fear he’s missed his chance to confess and be dreams special soldier cause now he’s got a new one and he looks so happy so blue can never bring himself to say anything and now he’s just painfully longing for a relationship he will never get(cause unfortunately dream and cross are quite smitten with each other and would probably go live in a cottage together if they could).

also, bonus points if cross and dream come out as dating to the group and while they’re celebrating and Ink is cheering them on all blue can feel is the pooling dread in his stomach but forces himself to smile and push the feelings down to make dream happy, even if he can’t help but think that it should’ve been him going on the dates and getting to hold dream and do all that couple stuff with him.

then something about Nightmare revealing it in a fight yadda yadda dream confronting blue and blue being forced into the friend zone forever and accepting it instead of just shoving his feelings down and then they all live happily ever after. Or maybe it ends in a poly idk. Both endings are happy one is just more bittersweet.

and Inks just kinda there, doesn’t do anything other then be the worlds best(worst) wingman and be the best third(maybe fourth) wheeler of the century.

An AU based off of an RP between me and a friend of mine from my discord server discord.gg/pQf9ZsdF6E where the Creation Trio as babies (a time they all cant really fully control their powers and junk) accidentally create a portal into the Undertale Universe and meet Chara and basically Arceus finds Chara and adopts her after finding out about her shitty human parents and Chara ends up helping Arceus raise the babies and basically lives in the Pokemon Universe now

The fall fucking hurt. Frisk knew they shouldn’t complain, considering it could have killed them. But still, it hurt. … huh, the yellow things at the bottom were flowers. There were bigger, golden ones, and somehow between them, smaller yellow ones. Frisk had no idea what the golden ones were, but the yellow ones looked like buttercups. Getting up and brushing themself off, they looked around the cavern. Aside from the flowers she was standing in, the only thing of interest was the path deeper in. Frisk knew there was no way they were leaving the way they fell, so they went forward. -- Frisk's first time through the underground. They explore this new place with a goal that is eventually forgotten.

Y’know it’s almost comical just how controversial Dreamtale is. Not even just the Joku drama. The misunderstandings of the lore, debates on how it can be improved, characterization, how the fucking tree magic works, and even how the 3 (4 with Shattered’s addition) apple siblings exactly relate in the first place.

Hell, those last two things (the last one especially) have semi-solid canonical answers, but damn will people argue as if they don’t.
