Another thing about the german monster high dub: I was scared they wouldn't make Frankie non-binary, but they actually did! Wonderful.

But the choice of pronouns...

Some context, german doesn't have neutral pronouns other than our equivalent to "it", which would be questionable, but is also simply clunky grammar wise, if you tried to use it for a person.

So I was excited to see what neo pronouns they'd pick, seeing how that's pretty much the only option. But they just. Didn't. They gave them they/them pronouns. No equivalent to that, just the english words. And it's so awkward.

I need you to understand how strange that is. "th" sounds are extremely out of place in german, from an auditory perspective, but also while speaking. it's jarring to try to do. For example, it's a very easy sound for me to make while speaking english, but to throw it in while speaking german? That's a struggle.

So I'm just. Really confused why they didn't just use neo pronouns.
