The kitchen was a mess,peels of fruit scattered everywhere on the kitchen counter along with some cheese, charcuterie and other snacks.

Me and joost decided to have a day off,his work was sucking all the energy and free time out of him,between producing new music,concerts,filming and editing his video clips,he didn’t have time for himself nor for me;his fiancee.

So going out for a picnic was the perfect plan to chill out,plus none of us wanted to waste such a sunny day and stay at home.

Which lead us to that messy kitchen.After a few minutes the kitchen was finally cleared,picnic basket ready and full of snacks and drinks.Us fully dressed and polished.We were finally ready to leave.

“God I feel like a teenager again”I say smiling, hoping on my bike,picnic basket secured on the bicycle cargo

these two and iansan are mavuikas trio and I've said this many times (i will continue to say it). they're so DONE. iansan at least is endeared and polite about it. kinich and xilonen will not hesitate to give mavuika a stern one and I'm sure mavuika appreciates it.

he doesnt KNOW what hes bringing her either but I imagine citlali keeps hiring him only because she knows he wouldn't say anything (or care, in the first place) and so every few weeks kinich keeps getting these commissions to bring these abnormally heavy stacks of papers to citlalis door. he doesn't care tho!! money!! (this is canon btw idk why im stating it like a hc)

citlali canonically calls kinich a brat (AQ) which i think is hilarious. she just hates her male grandsons. they do everything wrong in her eyes

aside from mav and ororon, i think xilo and kinich are actually some of citlalis closest friends. mostly because they arent scared of her and treat her like any other person. granted they don't show enough respect as citlali would like (see AQ) but fr I think that's why citlali loves them

or citlali just appreciates kinich's mental processing and his ability to act like nothing is happening around him when fact shows that everything is*

hc capitanos death hit ororon really hard (thats the canon part) so he started looking out for his friends more often and psychoanalysing their actions for whether they're planning to kill themselves (oh god), and absolutely dreads the day kinich is going to die. he searches high and low for some sort of solution but if citlali couldn't do it there's no chance he could so now he just has to accept it somehow. moving on!

CHASCA AND KINICH: THE CLOSEST THINGS WE'LL GET TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IN NATLAN!!

okay i love these two i think their personalities are pretty similar only chasca is more trigger-happy and kinich more seemingly apathetic. if they had to play good cop bad cop they'd both be bad cops idk it is what it is

out of the six heroes, these two would be the most physical/carry out the dirty work. stay with me now.

1. theyre the most morally ambiguous imo. and its not in the way that they will harm innocents in a war, for example (they could, but id say theyd try avoid that outcome as much as possible), but that they can hurt the enemy in ways the other four cannot. ororon has (imo) clean-cut morals and lines he refuses to cross. i think he, iansan and mualani are simply too (and I don't mean this in a bad way) soft and kind-hearted to harm someone beyond necessary. they have the physical strength to, but they wont. 🤷 xilonen is a bit more confusing, but I do believe she normally wouldn't just because she wouldn't consider it necessary. chasca and kinich might, but xilonen wouldnt. i read her character stories and she does not seem like the type to believe in physical lessons the way chasca or kinich would. yo what i cant believe i just wrote that. im keeping it because thats deep but damn i didnt mean for it to be while the other four wouldnt, chasca and kinich may. theyre a little harsher on the world as we've seen from their characters, and i think between kinich's skewed perspective of "price" (not in the form of money) and chasca's abyss-tainted bloodlust, they could definitely go overboard in the eyes of worldly moral. not their morals, but our morals.

of course im open to discussion on this !! i wrote this in like five minutes even though this is breaking into character analysis territory oops

2. starting to realise i could just make a separate post on this but ehhh you know that tt audio "the dragon has three heads"? go search it up and listen to it if you dont because im about to yap on why chasca and kinich are mavuika(the dragon in this scenario)'s murderers - iansan and mualani would be the monarchs. both are loved by natlan, boost morale and have heavy influence on their respective tribes - xilonen and ororon are the "mad". no explanation i think they fit perfectly - so that leaves chasca and kinich as the murderers. obviously if we divide the six into three groups, these two would HAVE to go in the section of the ruthless. because. you know. theyre the most ruthless of the six. dw this isnt deep i just yapped for fun hahahha i love being self indulgent

kinich trained himself to eat only whats absolutely necessary to save money, so when varesa pulled up with an ass ton of popcorn chicken (and kinich had offered to pay for ALL OF THAT)....ik afterwards he either threw up like ajaw said he would, or went straight home and cried. that was like a week worth of food (exaggerated). kinich never taking varesa to a resturaunt ever again 😭

WHICH IS WHY HE'D MAKE SUCH A GOOD ONE!!) theyre also both just underground law enforcement (less official in kinichs case but still. he followed a whole ass shady gang because he got a gut feeling they were up to something. didnt have to. but did because he feels like natlan is his responsibility) and i think thats really cool

A/N: For the sake of my sanity and J’onn’s happiness, Martians are alive and well and these headcanons are based more on the young justice show. The reader is already a member of the justice league in this but maybe I’ll do some civilian headcanons later.

You both started out as pretty good friends but you never thought he’d like you romantically due to cultural differences. For him what you looked like didn’t really matter, your personalities meshed so well he wanted you around all the time. 

Despite having an open and honest friendship you kind of tried to bury your feelings from J’onn when you guys would talk telepathically. He did pick up on this though and it bothered him for a while but he didn’t want to pry. 

There’s this lingering tension though, you both like each other but one doesn’t want to overstep and the other is afraid of rejection. Other people can pick up on it too but nobody wants to say anything. There’s this romantic undertone with how you guys talk to each other but again nobody says anything. The other members of the league watching you guys interact is basically like this:

J’onn: “Would you like some refreshments after your journey to the watchtower? I’ve prepared some coffee for you.”  You: Ah, no thank you I appreciate it! Are you ok? I heard your last fight in Metropolis was tough, I was worried about you.  J’onn: And I you, your battle with Grodd caused me some distress but it was well fought. I’m happy you are unharmed.”

Things really get shaken up when M’gann makes her debut, she picks up on it as soon as you enter the room thinking you wouldn’t mind(due to your friendship of course). She ends up reaching into that crevice you thought you’d hidden. J’onn is unaware of this for like a second before she just comes out and says it. “Uncle J’onn have you guys started dating yet??” After she says that he’s looking at her like 👁️👄👁️. 

You fall out of your chair and M’gann realizes she messed up. Lucky for her she made a swift exit out of the room. You try not to make eye contact but J’onn is looking directly at you. 

At this point you both couldn’t put it off anymore and talked it out. You tell him your insecurities and he does the same. His fears about the attraction not being mutual due to the whole alien thing. Fortunately for you guys none of that matters since you’re so sickeningly in love. Now we get to the nitty gritty! The dating!

J’onn does everything in his power to learn Earth customs, especially your own culture, the language, the food. He wants to learn about it all to be closer to you. If english isn’t your native language he does a little brain download of it and speaks it with you. He’ll even prepare your favorite dish despite many, many failed attempts. When you make the same effort to learn about Martian culture it really warms his heart. It’s a rocky road but you get the hang of it, his family loves having you over. They’ll shapeshift into you when you come over and give you one big hug. 

You have to awkwardly explain why you’re seeing a new guy every week before J’onn chooses a form he likes. He doesn’t understand why it’d be a problem but he stops for you. It doesn’t matter though since he takes it off when you get home or when you’re among friends. He loves to shapeshift for you to make you laugh, turning into celebrities or mascots to prank you. You wake up in the morning and open the bathroom door to see Chiitan taking a shower. He’ll even do stupid stuff like long furbys or the fresno nightcrawler. 

Fighting together is a breeze, nobody is crazy enough to go after you in the field. And psychic attacks forget it, you can’t beat a martian when it comes to telepathy. People often underestimate how strong J’onn actually is so they do enter the process of fucking around and finding out. He never doubts your ability to protect yourself either but if the need arises and you get overwhelmed he will step in. 

You understand J’onn’s feelings more than most, despite constantly being linked to each other’s mind. Like Bruce his body language is subtle, there are certain ways his lips twitch or how he rubs his fingers together. You both have a great understanding of each other’s emotions, it’s so wonderful. He never keeps things from you and is very blunt with his opinions. He feels like it’s insulting to you to use flowery language instead of being honest. 

He doesn’t mind PDA, however much you’re comfortable with he’ll do. However he won’t be hanging off of you in public, he will stay within arms reach. He always wants you to know he’s nearby and you’re safe. His love language largely revolves around words of affirmation. J’onn is a great person to vent to since he is a great listener and he’s lived a long life so he’s got some words of wisdom. You need advice? He’s your man.

You can literally feel how much he loves you, he’ll even show you how he sees you. All colorful and bright like the sun. He’d literally walk through fire for you, his loyalty is unmatched.🗣️🗣️ You always tell him he doesn’t need to but he’ll do it anyway. After the most difficult day of missions and handling Martian and Earth politics, a moment in your arms rejuvenates him. For someone who isn’t super touchy the other thing he loves to do is hold your head in his hands and press your foreheads together. No words are exchanged, you just quietly enjoy each other’s presence.

It's the last SSS/WW for the year and I have nothing to share, since I finished Ever After and am not itching to start something new (and I'm back on my Persona bullshit). Part of the series that explores the Asianness in Glee, and yes, it was me projecting on Tina again. Tina feels disconnected from her Korean heritage due to her adoption. Oop. I really, really liked this one and I think it's one of the best titles of the year. Yes, the title is Chinese, not Korean, since it mostly takes place in a Chinese restaurant. Mutual, 你吃饭了吗？

A story idea that I have had for years and I'm glad I finally wrote it down. Charlie is an alien, gasp! And he only looks human. In this fic, he shows Matteusz his alien self and reflects on his human disguise. I'm really, really happy with this one and it's one of the reasons that my love for Class reawakened this year.

HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER WRITTEN, if I may so myself. It's Snowbaz's 7.25's canon years at Watford from the perspective of someone who doesn't give a shit about them. I fucking love this fic. I fucking love MCD (Matt Christopher Davis) and I loved writing how disinterested he is in the whole Chosen One shenanigans. It makes for a fun fic, but it also makes sense if you look at the state of the world. So many people keep living ordinary lives while weird shit happens, and MCD is just ordinary. He's just some guy.

I was on a Christian Borle binge during the summer, so I rewatched the musical Legally Blonde and this fic is a missing scene. Vivian realises what is happening and decides to break up with Warner and back-up Elle. I think it's neat.

What's in the name? (Glee, multi, WIP)

The first multichaptered installment of my Asianness in Glee series and it's all about names. It's partially me trying to make sense of some of Glee's choices, and me lifting from my life again. I have published Wes and Yu-Jin's and Tina's chapters. The one for Blaine is not written and I have started the one with Mike and Tina. I'm struggling with the latter, especially since I don't really understand Mike's circumstances either.

Ljubili se (Glee, Klaine, WIP)

Ah, yes, the fic that I love but also regret. I've started it for the 2023 Klaine December Challenge. I am just stuck on it, even though I have cool stuff written for it. I just don't know what to do with this one, to be honest. I want to finish it, but I have also realised that I don't like writing it anymore because I am so stuck on it. I am waiting for the inspiration to strike and for my passion to be re-ignited, because do I regret it? I also like writing it when I am writing it. And I am excited to share what I have for later chapters. There's a lil moment where Cooper tries to flirt with Denise and Quinn and Blaine are standing there like🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️. I will see where this fic will take me, I guess.

All's fair in love and war (Class, Charlie/Matteusz + Matteusz & Quill, 16.646 words)

The story that deserves better, since it has, like, 9 hits, but hey, that is what happens when you write for a small fandom. Which is a shame, cause this is also one of the best things I have written this year and I also enjoyed it a lot. I loved delving into the morality of the show Class through Matteusz, who is a middle man in-between two people with extreme conflicting opinions. And he loves both of them. Ever After (Glee, Klaine, 30.624 words)

The fic for the 2024 Klaine December Fanworks Challenge, which I did finish! Blaine is living in the kingdom of Daltonia, and Kurt is stranded in this place, so Blaine tries to help him get home.... to another world. I had a lot of fun, especially since I stopped Ljubili se for it, and it reminded how much I love writing Klaine. I also liked my world building here. I just think it is neat. I really enjoyed this one. I think I left some things open, since I didn't have room for more, but December was Ever After thought almost 24/7.

thinking ab wars and his relationship with his hair (from your hc #stealing) (I like it a lot) and like how much effort he puts into his hair to keep his “perfect” image and to keep his hair nice right like how much product he needs to use, so on (I’m getting somewhere with this)

comparing this idea with my idea for legends hair (very soft (like a bunny) with little effort but he just doesn’t tend to actually put much effort in - also like more pink but I’m just obsessed with the pink hair 🧍‍♀️) and like had a funny idea of wars being like annoyed at how little effort legend needs to have “perfect” hair when he needs to put in so much effort to make his “perfect”

was thinking ab expanding this in a more angsty way like wars comparing himself with legend bc legend could be seen as a “proper” hero like he’s a veteran, etc - like he fits the more general idea of a hero more than wars (this could also be more general to the rest of the chain considering the difference between an adventure and a war but I was thinking ab legend and wars here so.)

I think this was about my day 18 whumptober fic, Love, Me Normally because that was the one about Wars's hair akllskjdhls AND I LIKE THIS. Wars definitely has a little bit of an issue with comparing himself to others, especially those he thinks are better than him in some way, and if Legend can just wake up and have his hair nearly perfect I can absolutely see Warriors feeling upset or even jealous, especially since with Legend's dungeon experience he'd probably feel like Legend is more of a hero than himself. (I mean they literally call the kid 'the veteran', SOME part of Wars probably feels like he's not as good of a hero as Legend is over it)

so I skipped the scene with fake kim dressed up as shannon, every time it cut to them I skipped ahead, I couldn’t bear the cringe.

But i saw a post saying Kim dressed up as Shannon so Eddie would have sex with her. Was that implied during the scene? Cause that’s so manipulative. Or was that just a headcanon (in which case, fair).

I think different people interpret her intentions differently… i definitely think that the scene was originally written for them to end their conversation with a kiss as chris and marisol walk in, but that was obviously changed to be a hug (we got stills of them kissing AND in 7x10 ramon says chris told them it was a kiss but 7b was a fucking mess from a writing standpoint anyway so the continuity error is just 🤷) and in that case i think it’s DEFINITELY plausible to say that kim was there with intentions of possibly hooking up w eddie (i mean she was crazy enough to go out and buy a wig to dress up as this man’s wife so it’s not far fetched to say she would be against using this man’s fragile mental state to coerce him into sleeping w her)

not to mention her demeanor at the beginning of the scene when she knocked on the door and walked in the house was like very awkwardly flirty on her part… (like i don’t think devin is a bad actress and neither is ryan but the two of them have good chemistry for a broken marriage relationship, NOT for an actual relationship and the forced energy was very obvious from both of them in that scene like eddie calling her “baby” was so laughable but it wasn’t ryan’s fault it was just that their chemistry was literally 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ but this doesn’t have to do w the ask im kinda just rambling so let me get back on track)

all that fo say is that i think to say “kim was there to have sex w eddie” is one way that scene can be interpreted, and it’s definitely not without implications from the setup (bc we saw that kim was definitely interested in taking things further with eddie earlier in the episode) but as far as it being heavily implied, i personally don’t think the average viewer would take that away from the scene.

so short answer i don’t think its a black/white situation of if it was intentional or a headcanon, but it definitely feels more like a headcanon to me, even tho it’s a headcanon i agree with.

HONESTLY since i usually hc that aeon don't have kids till like post re6, the idea of aeon twins being gen alpha terrifies me lol

i FEEL like they would actually limit their kids for screen time UNTIL they are a bit older. then they would push them for more education purposes... soft twin studying reading or drawing on her ipad, fighty twin turning to gaming or something.

i see ada being more strict and actually getting them to adhere to the schedules because she WILL hide the devices and they won't be able to get to them.
