Got overwhelmed by how many scenes I still wanted to include in my Lucifer fic but hadn't yet slotted into the outline. Then, I remembered Chapter 19's outline consisted only of an opening scene because I knew I needed a gap there before the angel feather arc kicks off, but I didn't know how to fill it. :O

So, now I'm filling it with the anniversary of Chloe's dad's death! This also spawns an extra chapter (which I half expected would happen when I left the gap originally). Chapter 19 gets fleshed out with the day before and preparations for the anniversary. And chapter 20 covers the actual anniversary. It'll act as a family interlude the way Chapter 9's bedtime adventures did, and hopefully I'll also get to slip in Rory asking where 'mommy's ring' went because I need them to know Lucifer's ring turns white For Reasons later.

#much much later #but still it's important #After this the only thing I still need to fit in before the start of Act 3 #is Rory pointing out Trixie's future car in Lucifer's parking garage #But I'm pretty sure I can fit that in during the angel feather arc #In fact it might even work better doing it after that arc starts rather than before #(What's the angel feather arc Amber?
