Admittedly, there aren't many people who look and talk like SUO, so he stands out like a sore thumb to the average onlooker. Suo is overall one of the most mysterious characters. His trademark tassel earrings and the Chinese-styled clothing that Suo likes to wear are intriguing and enigmatic. He definitely has that type of presence that's bound to make anyone take another glance. 

So when he sees you at the cafe where Kotoha works, finding you drinking a cup of tea with the grace of a seasoned connoisseur, he's all but smitten if not intrigued by your aura. The way that you presented yourself went far beyond than just how your appearance looked, though he was certainly entranced by that as well. 

That was the first time he encountered you, and unbeknownst to him, that was certainly not the last. As the next time would be when you caught sight of him "beating up" a couple of gangsters who had previously bothered Nirei, pissing him off enough for Suo to use his skills in mixed martial arts to intervene.

“Is that Aikido or Kung Fu? Hm, or perhaps both."

Suo turned to address the voice, finding that familiar face peering down at him, seemingly unfazed by the presence of the gangsters' bodies. 

Suo smiled. "I don't know. My master was self-taught and blended various martial arts techniques."

"Ah, mixed martial arts. How nice," you remarked.

The fact that you could identify so easily his emotions. Perhaps you were like him, if not familiar with the feelings.

From then on, Suo would see more of you, and so did you see more of him, much like a moth to a flame. Time and time again, he found himself crossing paths with you in this quaint café, each encounter leaving him more intrigued than the last. Suo couldn't help but notice the elegance emanating from your every gesture, from the subtle grace that seemed to cloak you like a second skin. 

"Did you want a cup as well? I have more to share," you offered, noticing how Suo had been looking at you for a moment, motioning towards the untouched teacup beside you. 

"If you are concerned if it is poisoned, then I assure you, it is not," you answered calmly as you proceeded to take another sip of your tea, further proving that it was indeed not poisoned, but that wasn't what Suo was curious about.

"Oh, no. I apologize if that's how it came across," Suo admitted, his tone tinged with a hint of nostalgia. "The smell is rather enticing and... familiar."

"Oh? Do tell," you encouraged, patting the seat next to you with an inviting smile.

His lips purse into a thin line before chuckling. "Why, it's nothing special. It just reminds me of past days."

With a blink, you hummed, hesitant to ask any further than that. As if you already knew. "I see."

And as fate would have it, you found yourself sharing more cups of tea with him amidst the cozy atmosphere of the cafe that surprised even the likes of Kotoha, watching the bond between you two with a keen eye. 

Suo being vulnerable may as well be a rarity, but that's exactly the way he felt when he and you would chat over tea. You were just as authentic when he first saw you. To be frank, you both were like two birds of a feather, finding solace in each other's company. A comfortable silence that Suo grew to cherish, much to the astonishment of those in Furin, who would have the uncomfortable experience of coming into the cafe to eat, only to see Suo smiling with a person wearing similarly styled clothes to him, with the same calm-like demeanour and the same mannerisms.

You smiled, pouring another round of fragrant oolong tea. "Your knowledge is truly impressive. It's a rare quality to encounter." 

Suo nodded, recalling knowing the hooligans you were referring to, that being Sakura and Sugishita during one of the many times they fought in the middle of Kotoha's cafe and Nirei standing on the sidelines, shaking in dread.

"I'm flattered," he admitted, "but my knowledge only is minimal compared to the likes of yourself."

You chuckled softly, the sound mingling with the soft clatter of the teacups. "I suppose it's hard to conceal one's roots."

'Hard to hide where you come from, huh…?' Suo mused, a thoughtful expression crossing his features. As Suo's gaze lingered on you, his interest appeared to deepen beyond casual conversation

Perhaps, it was worth staying just a bit longer.

Whatever negative, people say about eighth grade, it's true. Eighth grade sucks. Seventh grade is manageable. Sixth grade? fine but Eighth grade was a new level you didn't know you had to go through. Few weeks in and its already a nightmare for you and all your friends. Thank god you found some.

When you got into middle school a few years ago, you and ellie managed to persuade joel to send ellie to the same school as you. Which wasn't a hard decision for him, because in a small town in Boston, he didn't have that many options.

But you didn't get into the same class, which was quite scary for you at first. Ellie, on the other hand, is good at talking to people, sometimes a bit too well, and then she says things that she should probably have kept to herself.

However, you had problems at the beginning of the 5th grade. The fear of being rejected by people you studied with for a years had haunted you.

Some of the classes were mixed together and you still remember how quickly you scanned the room, so you could find ellie to sit next to her, and unsurprised there were a few people around her laughing. You stood next the crowd, too shy to get Ellie's attention. She didn't notice you at all at first, but talked and laughed with the classmates around her.

That was the first time you felt afraid of losing her to people who are more In so many patterns. For a few seconds, you just stood there and watched her. Her easy-going but also attentive nature, which attracted people like the light a moth.

It was like magic.

She played with the feelings and laughter like water. Light in her hands, without meaning and purely out of feelings, but so careful. This was her stage, she was in her element, and you would always just sit in the audience, with an astonished and envious gaze.

But then she saw you and brought a gap through the crowd to show you that she had secured a free seat for you, with her backpack.

But today it is no longer the case. Eighth grade is a lot of shit, but you've finally made friends in the meantime. For a matter of fact, you're talking to one right now, but you're too engulfed in your thoughts.

"Hellooo you still there?"

Your body stiffens and you quickly turn away from the window, into the direction of Isabella .

"What?" you completely forgot that you are currently in biology and In the company of a friend… and that you still needed to finish a partner project.

Isabella giggles softly.

“You’re always doing that, what is your head thinking about?”

she playfully taps your forehead with her index finger. You grin slightly and wipe her finger out off your face.

“Nothing I’m okay”

“I Hope so because we Are supposed to dissect a chicken heart and not stare out the window”

A glance at the table and there is the chicken heart she’s talking about.

“Yeah no thank you” you say with a grimace that makes her laugh.

“It’s okay we can google the tasks at home, this is torture.” She sighs, puts the lid over the heart and takes of her gloves, you do the same nodding.

“So” she turns to you again with that curious grin of hers.

“What have you been daydreaming about the past few days?”

You let out a nervous laugh and wave your hand in the air.

"nothing what am I supposed to dream about, so…"

She raises her eyebrows reproachfully, she knows how you lie.

"You don't have to tell me, but is it a certain someone who starts with E?"

Your blood freezes with shock, but also respectful fear, of her alleged knowledge.

"what i don't know who you mean" Sweat forms on your palms and you quickly rub them together so that they don't Stupidly betraye you.

"I guess I hit the bull's eye, I knew you liked him?" Your forehead frown on its own and your stress sweat turn into anxiety sweat.

"Him?"

Isabella nods. "Eliza, you like him… Right"

The first two letter almost give you a heart attack but then you just frown at her.

she seems confused by your confusion, you turn around slow, as you are sitting in the first row, to stare at the boy in the last corner.

He just laughed and pressed the chicken heart into his sitting partner's face.

Ew.

Isabella doesn't seem to notice how disgusted you are, because she gives you a promising and excited look. Something pushes you to lie, you couldn't control it even if you tried.

"Yes, that's it" a sad smile on your face as you say the words.

Before she can react, the door is opened in a loud swing and ellie is standing in the doorway, grinning, behind her a few boys and girls.

"Hey" she gives you a warm smile that you knwo all to well, her arms resting on the table.

Then she looks up at Isabella emotionlessly.

"Isabella"

"Ellie" she replies dryly.

Yes, the two don't like each other very much. Then ellie's smile turned, quickly, sending it back to you.

"Aren’t you done yet?"

"No, young lady, they are not, and you knock before you come in" Ms. Perlow's voice booms through the room.

Any normal student would be scared, which justifies this woman is scary, but ellie isn’t sacred at all.

Grinning, she raises her arms in the air, as if she’s been caught stealing. A few children giggle at her gesture, but the older woman doesn't think it's so funny.

"Ellie, it's the same every time, you make a clown out of yourself for God's sake, leave this task to the boys"

Mrs. Perlow looks away for a moment to massage her temples with her thumbs and pointing fingers, which you felt a bit sorry for, she was soo old. Ellie of course doesn’t care.

She quickly rummages for something in her jacket pocket and nimbly presses a small piece of paper into your hand.

"Okay, till next time, Mrs. Perlow," she calls into the room before disappearing out the door.

"I hope not," the teacher murmurs audibly, however, and whispers break out again, in the classroom.

Your fingers try quickly and unevenly to open the note.

Meet me at the new dinner down the street, I’ve got news and please don’t bring Isabella along

With each step, you tousle the autumn leaves on the ground. It was kind of fun though, so you didn't stop, the scurrying sound of the dead plants in your ear.

Ellie mentioned a new dinner, which you have already drove by once with joel. After a few weeks ago, you passed by the former tourist center, which was soon to be renovated into a dinner.

Ellie thought it was better right away, because there is no one who wants to look around here in a small town Beverly farms. The eastern side of Beverly wasn't really interesting, she was right, but you always thought the little town was cute.

Here is everything you need and you have the sea right in front of your nose.

As you walk down the street with your backpack on your back, you think about what Ellie must have meant by "ive got news".

Before you know it, you'll be standing in front of the new store. "Seth's dinner". It actually looks very cozy, the light inside seems warm and a few people have already become aware of the place.

It seems to you just in autumn, very hopeful? A new beginning that is going well, a small but beautiful change in this small town. When you open the door, the door snorts cold from the air, the pleasant air surrounds your face.

There also seems to be a bar, graceful bottles on the wall and behind the counter. But otherwise it seems to be a normal dinner. Greasy smell of fries, burgers and beacons in the air, but on the order table it is written (in beautiful handwriting) that there should also be donuts and pancakes in the morning. In the evening, the bar opens.

At the counter, an older man is eyeing you, who is drying a glass. You've never seen him before, and he looks spooky right away.

Your head turns in every direction until you see the waving hand of Ellie, who had held a seat across from her in a corner of the table. It looks a bit like the dinners in Joel's old movies.

With a loud noise, you drop your bag and sit down opposite her. You let out a tired sigh, but then you notice Ellie's excited look. You shrug your shoulders uninformed.

"What?"

"Wait, I want to order before I tell you"

Her legs were constantly wriggling with hustle and bustle and you can't help but smile a little. The waiter came to your table and you two ordered 2 fries.

"Okay, tell me now" you say

Something good releases in your chest, you suppress the distracting feeling before it could reach the surface. The sparkle on ellie's face made you nervous in various ways.

"Okay, but promise me you won't be angry, ok?"

Okay, so the bad nervous feelings won. You strain straighter, ready for whatever might come your way.

"How old are we ellie, you don't always have to say that, when you've done something"

Ellie laughs so bright, that sound that you appreciate so much every time, as if it gives you water just before you dry out.

"remember how We wanted to go fishing with Joel this weekend"

You shake your head.

"You wanted this, not me ellie"

"yes, anyway, and you know Riley, don't you? From my English course"

Your shoulders slumped, just as you were about to answer, your order arrived. The old man from the counter. You automatically avoid eye contact. As he quietly, almost like a ghost, puts down the plates in front of you, he stops abruptly and stares at ellie's legs.

"Can you stop fidgeting like that, it drives me crazy"

His voice is exactly how you imagined it, rough, a little hollow somehow and he sounds like he's been a smoker for 10 years.

Ellie looks after him with a pissed expression on her face and starts shaking her legs even more out of provocation.

"Whatever, Riley wanted to come this time and her parents allowed it, isn't that cool"

You're not as enraptured by the idea as Ellie is and you tap with the tips of your fingers, and an unpleasant feeling in your stomach, on the table a little rhythm.

Ellie's foot bumps against yours and you look up at her even before she grabs your hand.

"Now I understand what the old man means, it really makes you nervous" she Chuckles and you just feel her hand for a moment. It lightens yours gently, but not considerately, as physical contact is normal between you.

Or at least it should be. But her fingertips triggered a wave of heat that spread to your face like wildfire.

You quickly flinch back, worried that Ellie might feel your pulse, which beats very erratically. Your thoughts are circling around, unsure if the feeling is positive or negative. It feels… nice? Exciting and it's directly addictive, you feel your inner self wanting to reach for more, but an indecent anxiety accompanies you every time you allow yourself to think this far.

"so you don't like idea huh?"

Your head goes up. Shes the same as always, reddish hair, green eyes, those freckles… Ellie's own gaze has descended. You never wanted to see her like that. Now you nudge her under the table with your foot.

"No, I think it's a good idea" you lie straight to her face.

The well-known grin creeps back onto her face and she stuffs a french fries into her mouth.

Then she proudly told you how she was sent to the school principal almost twice, but also about how she got a B+ in math and how the subject gets way too much hate.

You tell her that it deserves even more hate and about the weird interection with Isabella.

Ellie choked on a french chip and coughed so hard that Seth almost kicked her out. She said that she would know if you liked someone and that Isabella shouldn’t think she could be more important to you, than she really is.

This gave you a tingling feeling, so that you almost completely forgot about riley

"I don't understand your anticipation about something like that" Confused, you watch Ellie excitedly digging her fishing stuff out of the rack.

After joel voluntarily took her with him a few times, it became a little tradition and she got her own fishing set, which she takes care of like a mother.

"I like fishing and I like to eat fish, it's a perfect fit."

You're leaning your shoulder against the door of the garage when she bumps her head under joel's workbench.

“Ow”

He can't stow boxes well and safely. But there isn't much space here either, the green pick up truck, tools and the bench on which he has already built the craziest things for ellie.

"I don't get it no, I don't like the hunt and the taste of fish very much"

You always feel like an unnecessary murderer,since you kill the beings and it doesn't give you anything.

Ellie grabs her personal spare fishing line and packs it into her fisherman's backpack.

"Then you can leave the fishes you catch to me… if you catch any at all" She grins at you challengingly.

"Hey!" You point your finger at her. "I'm not that bad."

“No, I wouldn’t want to be reminded of how bad I am either, I get it." She says and you can hear her fucking smile in her voice.

"whatever ellie, i don't like it and it’s not because I’m not good at it"

"Oh no its not that your not good at it, its that your terrible at it"

Annoyed, you roll your eyes, turn around and leave Ellie in the room, but you both have a grin on your mouths. In the kitchen, Joel waits in his typical fisherman's outfit at the dining table, with a magazien about horse races.

He actually just looks like a forester. "Hey little one you ready for the trip?"

You let yourself fall across from him, on the wood table , which Joel must have built and sanded himself.

In the beginning, you had a lot of trouble with him, he was older and taller than most of the fathers you knew.

He was also a bit old to be ellie's father. Which, in the end,turned out that he wasn't. Not exactly.

That's why he was a little colder to you at the beginning, to test you. What does it take you to leave ellie, how quickly can someone get rid of you.

He wanted to know so he could protect her from it.

That's what you're understanding today.

Ellie couldn't afford to lose any more people, and you'd be lying if you said you would have done it differently in his place.

Yes, he was a bit intimidating at first, but after a few months he softened.

Now ellie worries that he loves you more than her, but you know the truth. No one could get close to ellie, just like no one would ever get close to sarah. Probably not even Ellie herself.

The thought of a name, It scares you both. Because it was more than friendship yet less than- "hey you okay?"

Joel and ellie stare at you.

You nod quickly and look at the clock.

”Didn’t she wanted to be here already?" Your question was more directed towards Ellie.

Then the house bell rang and your hope falls deep and painful.

Ellie's face is starting to shine again, and even though that was one of your favorite pictures, it started to annoy you very quickly the last few days.

"Wait, I forgot my gloves," she dashed up the stairs with her huge hiking backpack and her much too loud shoes.

Her nimble footsteps could be heard throughout the house. Your gaze flicks back to a very concentrated joel, who twitches his head towards the door, to make it clear to you that you should get it.

You let out a little sigh and wander extra slowly to the door, maybe she left. She didn’t.

But You can't lie, riley was pretty. and nice. clever too. It annoyed you to the bone.

"hey"

You look at her for a moment and immediately notice the backpack and the fishing rod. God ellie will love her.

"Hey come in"

You politely open the door for her, before she enters the house she quickly takes off her shoes. Jesus, good manners too.

"Riley, Welcome, we'll leave as soon as this girl finds her gloves" he laughs in his typical raspy voice.

"Don't talk about me if when not in the room," Ellie yells down and Riley giggles. "Thank you for taking me with you this time, Mr. Miller.“

You didn't know Riley, but you can tell right away that she's very intelligent and that you understand Ellie liking for her.

As much as you try to cover it up.

Joel shakes his head. "You can call me Joel"

Riley nods briefly, and Ellie shoes can be heard whizzing down the stairs again. When she sees Riley, she freezes for a moment, even though she knew she would be here.

For a moment you wondered why she did that, but then you got it.

"Hey Riley"

"Hi Ellie"

The drive to the lake was 20 minutes. And they were the worst 20 minutes of your life. Ellie wanted to sit next to riley so bad she left the front seat to you. She never does that.

From the mirror you could see the two of them laughing, talking as if they have known each other for years.

For the first time, it seemed to you that ellie wanted to share her stage with someone. It's as if she's brought someone from the audience to the stage.

And that someone wasn't you.

You didn't say a word the whole way. Not a word.

When the bluish lake was visible trough the many trees, you wanted to drown in it. Now you still want that.

The weight of your backpack bends your back right now, and ellie and riley never looked happier.

"Have you ever fished before, riley?"

you ask the tall girl.

She nods. "My grandfather used to take me on his trips sometimes."

"So cool," Ellie murmurs.

You thought everything was shit in this place. The lake looks so unwelcoming in the fall, as if it is personally trying to tell you to just give it up.

The old wood of the jetty squeaks and slips because of the humid air and you doubt the stability of the old thing. Joel prepares a place where he can fish in peace and quiet, and gives you younger people the freedom to do it on their own.

As the youngest in the group, it doesn't help that you really are bad at fishing, but you should be able to do connect the purr and the fishing rod.

Actually, you only have to manage to connect a fishing line, the rest takes care of itself.

Too bad you're so bad to make this fucking knot.

and you really try, but it just doesn't work. After a while you get too uncomfortable that you can't do it and you drop your fishing rod loudly on the wood.

Riley looks at you confused.

Joel was back at the car searching for the bait that disgusts you so much that you’re always afraid that the worms are still alive.

Ellie looks at you and stops at your bright red face. You can't read her look, you can't understand so much about what's been going on with her over the last few weeks, maybe even months.

But maybe you’re the problem too.

"Can you help Joel for a moment, we'll come right away" Ellie jerks her head in Joel's direction, as she talks to Riley.

She doesn't give you one last look before she goes past you towards the car.

The freckled girl steps forward and picks up your fishing rod, in front of you while you stare into the air like a little child.

"Whatever is going on with you today, the fishing rod really didn't deserve that"

You look downs a bit again to meet her eyes.

"What's wrong with you Ellie?"

"With me? nothing at all… What is wrong with me?"

Her shoulders tense just a little bit, but you don't miss it.

"The only thing you're talking about is riley, the only one you want to impress is riley"

Ellie takes a few steps back for some reason and looks behind you, probably at joel and riley who are still looking for the fishing lure, out of respect.

"I don't know what you mean"

You let out a snort and look at her. “I don't know you like that and it's driving me crazy"

"Why? Why can't I change, what's your problem?"

You want to seek closeness, her hand in yours to make the emotional distance disappear, but she takes a step back again when you try it.

It makes sense that she doesn't want that right now, but it still hurts incredibly how she runs away from you.

"It's not about you changing, it's good that you do, I don't care about that, but not who you do it with, Ellie" you remark.

For a second, she seems so far away, as if worlds universes separate you. In some summers, ellie and joel visit their family in texas, or drive into town for a few days. The separated time is not pretty, but neither is it gruesome.

Cause you can’t wait for her to come back, and she's just as excited about it as you are.

But I’m this moment, right now, you feel more separate from her than ever before.

"It's not always about you, I'm not your-"

Both of you weren't sure how it happened, because all of a sudden she was in the water. You don't know if you pushed her or if she fell in because of her distance steps. But both would be your fault.

The sound the jetty makes, the platch of the water, the way she is so shocked as soon as her face reaches the surface.

With your hand in front on your mouth you watch as she stares at you indignantly. Thank god she can swim.

Her eyes and the light green of the lake, bite each other just a tiny bit. It almost seems to you as if it was so destined, ellie and the lake. And maybe that was the case, but not in autumn.

You can't imagine how cold the water is and her blue lips testify enough. But Ellie doesn't budge. For a few seconds, she just stares at you. Maybe so that she can picture it again later or to make you realize what you just done.

You two didn't have to check if joel and riley noticed, you can already hear the stomping footsteps.

"Im sorry I-" you turn around so fast that you get dizzy and you almost fall into the lake too , you run so fast down the jetty that Joel can't stop you.

You're not quite sure where you're going. It all looks the same anyway. A play of colours, of orange and yellow on the ground and in the crowns of the trees. The sounds of birds and the dead leaves in the air.

As soon as you don't feel your legs anymore, you stop.

Your lungs sound like they're about to give up on you, and you are about to hyperventilate. It feels like you're always running, if not physical, then emotional.

You run when you're awake, when you're asleep, when you're sitting, Whether that's on ellie‘s old couch or when you have dinner with your family. Something scares you and it's always in the back of your mind, no matter where you are or with whom.

All of a sudden, your chest feels too tight and your head too much, but the world feels too small. It's as if all the air in the world is evaporating in front of you, and you can't do anything but try to get some oxygen with every breath. Your arms rested on your knees, your head spinning and-

"Hey?"

Your eyes rush open so wide and fast it almost hurts.

Ellie's clothes are completely soaked, so is her hair and she shivers slightly. And she's standing in front of you? She’s wearing an fishing jacket, a thick one and a wet one, but she doesn’t care.

"Hey it's okay im sorry I shouldn't have said that" she says it so fast, your brain almost misses it.

she doesn't ask if she can touch you, even if a precaution wouldn't have hurt you. At first only your hand, she grabs it very carefully and her cold skin makes you twitch a bit.

After that, she holds your cheek in her other hand to make you look up. You could still feel the drops of water hours later.

"Come here its okay, I’m fine" She takes puts both of her arms around you and one hand rests on your head.

She literally presses you against her. Her hand gently caresses over your hair. You've shoved her into an ice-cold lake and she's holding you like you're gold. As if you weren't a monster - as if you mean something.

Like a lost piece of a puzzle, your own arms sling around her and you put your head into her shoulder.

You cry so often, and you know it. You know how overwhelming it is for you, for the people around you, maybe even annoying, but not for ellie.

The animals of the forest hardly bothered, even if it was like the whole forest when quiet for a short minute. But you might have imagined that too.

"I'm really sorry ellie"

Your breaking voice is very low, though she hears it anyway.

"I know everything is okay I’m fine, I’m sorry too"

Out of surprise, you stiffen for a moment.

"I dragged you out here and hardly spoke to you. You're only here because of me" she explains and You can’t deny that.

okay I'm dipping my toes in x men comics for the first time and read THIS series (Astonishing X-men: Xenogenesis) because I saw emo wolverine on the cover and my GOD was it so awful 😭

when it comes to comics. the first thing that attracts my interest is the cover art. naturally so because comics are visual arts and story telling. and my brain is so confused because on one hand, there's moments where I see the charm in some drawings, and other times where I HATE IT.

The proportions are CRAZZYY, especially with Emma. She's not my favourite, but any of the characters hardly are in this, I already like all of them in the movies, but in the comics it's another story obviously.

The theme of the story is quite sensitive and can very well fall into the territory of racism. there are points made by other characters about the state of African nations and how the world doesn't care about them. You know, colonialism and shit. We see this happen everyday in the news, people are dying in the Congo and nobody gives a shit because they're black people.

Logan is a little annoying, he should KNOW better than grumble "African leaders..." GIRL WDYYMM!!! The man is saying how HE needs to eleminate threats so his people don't get harmed, not matter how ugly it is and that he's not relying on the x-men 100% because they could and WILL leave if something bad happens in the US. And who will help his people then??? It's pretty bleak.

Also, the artist must've smoked something while making the covers because why in the world is Emma drawn so sexually in a story where the whole thing is to save babies???

And don't get me started on these panels, they're so awful.

I strongly dislike the headcanon that Elfilis absorbs other creatures into their dna. I feel like it ruins a lot of the charm they have, at least for me, by making their ethereal presentation be stolen from other creatures rather than it just being who they are. Also, while I am a Good Elfilis defender, I love the idea of them destroying planets for fun. It just goes to cement how otherworldy and above it all this creature is. So yeah, I feel like this headcanon takes away a lot of their appeal for me personally.

I also don't like when people make them always angry and grumpy, like do you realize half of them is Elfilin?

I'm gonna briefly summarize my hc dynamics for them cause I love mice.

Elfilis and Elfilin - Elfilin

As I said before, Elfilin's feelings on his big sibling are very conflicted. On one hand, he feels safe with them, and looks up to them. On the other hand, he fears them. The fact that they just wipe out planets without second thought disturbs him. Although he'd never admit it to himself because he loves them so much. Elfilis, however, is very much aware of Elfilin's feelings. And as much as they're devastated by the guilt of having hurt their little ones so much, they dismss Elfilin's compassion as naivete due to his young age and time spent with the beasts. They're sure he will outgrow it one day and see his superiority, ans in the meantime they remind him that he's their little one and that they'll always love him.

Elfilis and Forgo - Forgo

Forgo sees itself as nothing but a temporary form of Elfilis, unworthy of being seen as anything but. And it's not taking this whole "coexisting with the actual Elfilis" all that well. If the actual Elfilis exists, what purpose does Forgo have? This sends them down an existential crisis. Elfilis doesn't like that. And they're desperate to help it break free from these beliefs. Also, Forgo always saw Elfilis in a very idolized way, as a ruthless monstrous destroyer. But that's not all there is to Elfilis, they can be a little silly sometimes. And Forgo is SEVERELY disappointed. It often calls them an idiot and then feels bad about it because nobody should be reproaching the almighty Fecto Elfilis. Also it exclusively refers to them as "Great One".

Mind yall this my first time writing a fic so give grace to me but I hope you enjoy part 2 is going to come out when I think of something to write. 😭✊🏽

Silco closed the last drop to renovate it for a couple of months. The new edition to the bar was astonishing. There was a more open sitting area; he even added a second floor, but the main attraction was the added stage in the bar area. Then there's you, the main singer with a matching two-piece bell bottom pants set. It was red with rhinestones decorating each inch of it, and your hair rested in its big fro style.

As you sing and dance around the stage, Sevika walks in just coming from a mission Slico gave to her. Now this is her first time seeing you perform without having to rush off to do Gods know what, so she takes the time to sit at one of the corner booths and observe you carefully. She looks over your body first from head to toe, then she takes in the beautiful head of hair that frames your face so prettily, then finally your face that has turned many heads with those gorgeous brown eyes. One thing Sevika can say is that you are very much an eye candy with the way you move your body so effortlessly with the tone of the music and the prettiest smile on your face she might have thought she was in heaven for a second if it wasn't for Slico calling to her.

Later that night, the Last Drop was closing, and the only people in there were the Slico's employees and you. You were sitting at the bar top, relaxing your throat after a long night of performing. That's when you felt someone behind you. "Can I help you, honey?"

"Maybe it depends on if you want company."

Fully turning around to face the person behind you, you see Sevika standing there tall and confident with a cloak one over her left arm covering the bronze prosthetic recognizing her from around the Last Drop as one of Slicos goons.

"I don't mind, you seem like somebody interesting, Sevika right?"

She gives a stern nod to confirm as she sits down on the bar stool next to you.

"So you're the famous y/n l/n huh?"

"That is me, it seems we have some knowledge of each other, but I hardly see you around Slico must have you working a lot, I presume?”

Sighing, Sevika lights one of her pre rolled blunts. “Always work and no play most days. I guess the same for you?”

“Well I would like to say I'm luckier than you, but having a voice like mine people constantly want to hear it even on days off.”

“Well, we can't have a pretty lady like yourself over work now can we? How bout on your day off I'll help you relax.”

“Relax how?” Now looking at her as if she was about to suggest the most foul thing ever. “I hope you are not trying to work your way into my bedroom Ms.Sevika because I would hate to leave you disappointed.” You say in a stern voice.

Huffing out a small chuckle, Sevika removes her blunt out of her mouth shaking her head. “Nah pretty thing, not at least before taking you out on a date first. I meant more of this you know, just chatting is all nothing more and plus, if I wanted to be in your bedroom I would have already been there.” Sending you that charming ass smirk that always me people quake where they stand or make them beg for more.

“Well ain't you something.” Feeling a small tingle sensation in your stomach, you take a sip of the drink you had been nursing since you ordered it. “But sure, I'll like to get to know the scary lady herself.” Sending her a smirk back.

“Well I have to get back home to my little boy. He gets fussy when I'm not home.”

That stops Sevika in her tracks for a second. Did you just say you have a kid? She didn't take you as a mom type tho nothing is wrong with that it just caught her off guard.

“Huh?”

Laughing at the slightly shocked face she made you move to leave the bar. “Maybe I'll explain tomorrow if you're still interested but good night for now Sevika.” Walking out the door leaving a curious and confused Sevika.

planning, keeping details in check. I usually tinker enough with details that there's not many inconsistencies left. also, I think I'm good with dialogue and usually with the pacing of information

not stressing over how something is phrased and putting down actual words instead. it makes writing so excruciatingly slow and sometimes stressful that I want to get things perfect. also, descriptions are so hard, because I don't want to describe things plainly or in a dull way, but finding interesting ways takes a lot of effort.

yeah. Like I get it. Keeley was always hinting at being bisexual. But she was always hinting at it, the same way so many "straight" female characters in countless shows and films did before. I mean, it's a well known trope at this point. It's no wonder people want a "confirmation".

Because I remember Phoebe Buffay and Samantha Jones and Eleanor Shellstrop and so so many others. I remember the years of wishing and hoping before Stephanie Beatriz and then subsequently Rosa Diaz came out as bi. I remember when Clarke and Lexa had chemistry but we didn't believe them to go there. I remember so many people doubting that Korra and Asami would ever get together etc.

I see all these people getting angry that we're celebrating "a confirmation" and tbh to me, it sounds like those people don't know the history. Especially with bisexual female characters. There was a time until quite recently actually where people were put into two categories. Either you were gay or straight. Remember Lindsay in Queer as Folk who was perceived as lesbian, then had an affair with a man and then when she got back with Melanie she was again seen as a lesbian. Having actual confirmed bisexual well-rounded female characters is still quite rare. There are so many examples where bisexual female characters were treated poorly. It's always either a tantalizing one-off episode where the female character somehow ends up kissing a girl only to go back to her destined boyfriend, or it's treated like this everlasting joke. Bisexual characters are still rare and it's even rarer to have them be treated with the care their storylines deserve tbh. Seriously I cried my heart out during those Rose Diaz episodes because it was the first time I saw an episode that was so clearly written by bisexual woman about issues that we face.

And even though it's about queer characters in general (and I think the specific issue of bisexual female characters runs a bit deeper) I think this interview with David Jenkins about the reactions to Our Flag Means Death queer storyline sums up the whole queerbaiting and the deeprooted disbelief in stories treating us good pretty well.

I trust the Ted Lasso writers but even I was sceptical about if they'll go down that road. I thought they're already juggling multiple storylines, they will obviously get Roy and Keeley back together, there's a small chance they will actually make something out of it. I'm happy to be proven wrong. But I'm not surprised that many people also didn't want to believe it until we got some more confirmation.

WHAT R THE STORY WRITERS THINKINGGG 😭 I know in some cases the artist and story author are different people and sometimes i can't help but think that these poor artists just have to put up with drawing incestuous themes for the sake of a paycheck 💀

Hi anon!! i'm not American, and neither am I Asian (specifically korean nor japanese), so I don't know if it is taboo, but japan probably doesn't see it as taboo for the fact that they have a surprisingly decent amount of incest/stepcest animes and manga.

and for the latter, I don't see it as offensive, don't worry!! i totally agree that the artists work hard and should be applauded for it, but some of the manhwa's I mentioned that do have incest but isn't the main ship is generally just a warning for people who want to read those manhwa's but don't know what some of it contains, as incest can be a triggering thing for some people, and in no way am i trying to misinform anyone that certain manhwa's have such triggering things that are painted in a good light!!

Nothing, really! It wasn't always that way, butttt, when there really isn't anyone writing what you wanna read (minus Wifey blows kisses)... when I started rereading my stuff after I posted it, had an epiphany. This is a certified amazing, whattttt? I actually love this. Wow, I know, amazing me; I like what I write for me. Astonishing, me.

But 'till I remade and had to edit and repost everything, I was like... why didn't I reread this stuff sooner? Insecurity, really, but! That was the biggest confidence booster; I just kinda stopped caring that, yes, objectively speaking, my writing could be or maybe is ass, but I no longer saw it. Instead, I saw damm can't wait to read this later; ooooh, excited! I've always had fun writing, but until like a year and a half ago, I didn't really re-read my stuff? I was missing outtt. I mean I wrote them for me!

So I guess I used to get too anxious and embarrassed to re-read my stuff, so everything about my writing in a way. I was insecure, thought if I re-read this, what if it's trash writing, and I no longer love it cuz it's badly written, even if its my niches I love? But jokes on me; I love my stuff, esp. the newer stuff, even more now, haha.

🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic?

Not the writing, lol. But, really. The writing is fun; it’s everything that surrounds it. My ADD brain wanting to write at the worse times when I’m busy. My ADD brain giving me too many wips, which, I don’t mind, but I’m sure my one or two readers are sick of, like, boo, you whore xd. Editing. The best part of editing is being able to reread my stuff; then, the worse is everything else. And writer's block…. that brings my mood down so much, my mortal enemy. With Phayu and rain ppl love to say that you can't take anything from them of their relationship aspect from the show because they had no plot to it but I think if you really look into rains character alone and how he kind of in the beginning was very as we saw not responsible in his life like with his own school work he was pursuing someone at the same time he was prioritizing other things instead of focusing on the things in front of him. So he was kind of all over the place which in life that's normal for people to be all over the place as long as u find ur footing somewhere along the line.

And him meeting someone like payu who kind of really made him see like before you give yourself to anyone you have to make sure your own life is in some type of shape that works for you, u have to better yourself be responsible evaluate yourself in a way to in order to be better for yourself and for maybe a partner and I believe rain kind of went through this in his character development and because of Phayu meeting someone like that he was motivated in his his school work and through this relationship he discovered things about himself being more confident in his sexuality which is also a good thing. He was with someone that not only encouraged him he wanted the best for him told him multiple times that you have to take care of you I'll be waiting don't feel like you need to rush to me I'm going to be here for you waiting.

With pai and sky I mean this relationship that wasn't so much relationship in the beginning started off as a one-night thing turned and brought them into something so beautiful. That it's amazing how the development of pai was it's astonishing from someone who just slept with people to becoming someone who saw something different about this one person and was very honest with this person and let them know their intention was to to sleep with them but saw that this person was far more important than just sex this person he can tell from the first meeting had some sadness to him and he wanted to be by this person no matter how many times they push him away and made it clear that they wanted to be alone when he knew that this person doesn't want to be alone this person needs someone there for them he was a very emotionally aware of skies emotions he stuck by him and sky deep down wanted that yes of course because of his traumatic experience in the past everything that we saw from these episodes 8 to 13 are an accumulation of him dealing with this trauma and meeting someone like pai that didn't give up on him that stuck with him even when he was being a little bit harsh this person wanted him to know that I don't know whatever it is that you're going through but I want to be there for you, I like you a lot and I know there's something holding you back from wanting to have anything to do with me which is why he was so patient with him he just constantly reminded him that he's not alone which is something that sky always felt like he will be and him showing him that he doesn't have to be was one of the most beautiful things ever he was but he annoying at first yes but he himself changed into this man that was willing to do anything for this one person for this person to see that you can love again it doesn't have to end there and I think that's what I need it the most as well in this relationship that he can love again and he can allow himself to be happy to want to be careful to want to be loved to want to be hold he can have that and well it took some time to get there it was very very rewarding in the end 😭❤️

- When you explain to him, he is confused... But relieved! He is yet to make peace with the fact that it happens EVERY. MONTH. FOR YEARS

- He is a busy man, but he will track down your cicles and know (more or less) when you are on your days and have everything ready!!! From pads to your cravings!!!!

- Does it hurt? He drops everything (or finishes with the victim in a gippy and is with you in no time!) and cuddles with you unless you don't like physical contact while you are like that! If that's the case, he'll be attentive in case you need anything!

Thomas:

- He does know what periods are, dw!

- Very protective. He is aware of how sensitive you are during that time of the month and he won't allow Hoyt or anyone for that matter to get to your nerves!

- No matter how much you decline him, he is making you something, even if it's just a sandwich and a lemonade 🥺

- No chainsaw around you. No victims around you. No NOTHING slightly unsettling around you. He basically begs you to stay on your shared bedroom, but of course naturally bleeding does not earn you some vacations; you still have to help around. If you refuse, be sure that he'll make up by finishing off anything he is doing faster to cuddle with you! <3

Jason Voorhees:

- He is about to panic, but Pam is quick to calm him down. She explains to him that it's natural for some people to bleed once a month!

- He quickly calms down, but still is kinda worried. Specially if you are one to be unable to move because of the pain.

- Surely the victims have painkillers in their bags! Pam instructs him on which ones are for your menstrual pains! She is no doctor, but she has been a young woman too. Unless you have any allergies to some kind of medicine, Jason will get you anything you need!

- He'll bring you gifts! His mama tells him you'll be okay, that you only need to rest, and so he listens and goes on to do the deed. Once he is back, he will bring you a little something! Maybe something he carved himself of a pretty scarf he "found"... Yeah, just lying around... On some corpse's body, but don't worry, it's all clean!

- He will lend you his stuffed bear! When he was alive (and honestly, even when he is undead) it helps him calm down and feel loved, so he figures it will have the same soothing effect on you! Expect lots of kisses if you are in the mood of physical contact 💕

God, I love the idea of Pamela in Jason's head, coaching him through things 🥺❤ I know I've never written about it, but it's such a cute thing I see so many writers do! 😭 I also feel like he would in the same boat as Bubba, suprised that it keeps coming back, but would quickly accept and understand that this will keep happening every month, and he will be ready to help you every single time. The stuffed bear idea is adorable 🥺 I'd love to snuggle with him and the bear together.

I feel as though your next relationship will activate your possessiveness. Someone that smooth can’t possibly be genuine, but you quickly realized they generally mean what they say. Which will make you even more astonished that you were able to find and snag this person. You will really not want to let them go and would really see yourself going long term with this person. You want to make sure you do everything you can to keep them and the possessiveness that comes out is because of insecurity. Maybe in previous relationships your partners put you down or made you feel insecure about yourself. Your next partner won’t be like that at all. I feel like they will be a really sunny, happy person but with enough depth to really dive in deep for your relationship with you. Like you I don’t think they are looking for a shallow relationship. They are definitely looking for a long term partnership and I don’t think you’ve had partners previously that want that too. You’ll finally feel as though you are on the same page with a partner that’s willing to build something with you. I feel as though you’ll try really hard to prove how good of a partner you are in your next relationship. You don’t want your other partner to feel as though they are doing all the work.
