hi! i really love the lahabrea thesis series and i was wondering if there was ever going to be a next part?
Hi there! :D Thank you so much for writing in, as well as reading the archon thesis lol! I do mean to continue it technically, and tbh had meant to update a little after Abyssos was released. I have a lot of my analysis outlined. There were a few problems I hit at the time though that made me rage quit (intended temporary) through no fault of the material. 1) I had thousands of words of analysis written beyond what is currently posted in part five, including many screenshots with evidence. Tumblr would not let me save and deleted all of my work up to that point. I'd spent hours on it. I was so beside myself I had to step back. 2) I still have screenshots for evidence but the order is a little scrambled so I'll need to go back and figure out what to use where again. I took months to cool off from the anguish of losing my progress, and while I'm feeling more clear-headed now it's more a question of 'am I ready to dive back into the hardcore analysis or am I in storytelling mode and where do I want to spend that attention?' A chunk of my Lahabrea stories are on hold currently because I think further big lore developments are imminent, but I can do a lot of analysis with what we've been given at the moment. I have maybe two stories in-progress, but after them technically it would be reasonable to hit the Archon thesis again provided it's before the plot development I'm anticipating. And tbh I do think it's time to bring it back too. A lot of fandom seems to have been unsure what to make of developments with Lahabrea, Erichthonios, and Athena while the evidence around each of them has read very consistent (and interesting!) to me. So basically: this message was a good reminder and nudge to get back to it lol. I'd put it on the backburner of 'cool off from the anguish of being betrayed by technology to try again later', then didn't look back at what 'later' entailed. Like I said, got two stories I actively want to write at the moment but once I bang those out I'll circle back to have a look at the thesis again. Your asking 1000% made a difference, so thank you! <3
#If you want some hilarious irony added to this post#I've been marathoning through Final Fantasy XVI for the past week or so#This weekend was the most extreme in that I gamed for roughly sixteen hours straight#Out of love for my sister who wants me to guide her through her playthrough#And because I want to get the good ending that comes from doing sidequests#Thing is during the sixteen hours I didn't save progress due to mortal hubris#And my game glitched horribly while fighting a behemoth#Guy wouldn't lower health past 20% and couldn't kill me either even if I stopped touching my controller entirely#It was looking like I might need to turn the game off and on again to lose all my progress#There was a risk of rage quit there#But apparently it is possible to teleport out of combat THANK FUCK#Which I did and immediately saved#So all is not lost but the moral of the story is don't trust technology guys#Save everything everywhere all the time#lahabrea#hephaistos

Lost and Found (Jason Todd x Reader) Ko-fi Request
JASON TODD x new fledging superhero female OC plssssss
I wanted to try to make this one as open as possible because I wanted to give more free reign over the imagination of the hero’s occupation as a hero, but hopefully these work for you! Always love writing for this beautiful, beautiful boy :’)
THE BACKGROUND:
- You have a very interesting choice for occupation as a so-called “hero”
- Within the scope of that title, many brave men and women under that profession might not exactly consider you to be on their… level, per say. Several very, very big names have become only a bit or vaguely aware of your new, bustling presence in Bludhaven, apparently making quick time and moving all the way to Star City or popping up in Metropolis in a single night.
- Villains don’t really know what to do with you. They most leave you alone, to be honest, because they have a feeling dealing with you is just a headache. The only villains that really have any beef with you are big time thieves, and Cat Woman is not happy about your new rising popularity but she’s still staying off your radars for now. (You’re working on her)
- Most heroes advise you to stay home, they’re the ones giving you the most trouble. Small run-ins have them instructing you to go ahead and give up this line of work and perhaps join a local law enforcement or help-group, they think it’s much better for you.
- You, however, are determined, and you’re rather set on doing what you feel is truly your happiest calling.
Jason Todd, currently donning the sleek, reinforced metal of Red Hood’s mask, gave the drug dealer one last good kick to the ribs, listening for the satisfying crack of a few that promised he wasn’t getting up or going anywhere anytime soon.
Goons littered the hallways, their blood spilling over across the walls. The acrid smell of cigars snubbed out by their own fluids flooded the deserted motel hallways. Car lights were punched out in the front of the parking lot of the cheap, off-the-highway motel they’d been hiding out at like a pack of rats. It hadn’t been hard for him to find them, to be honest, a much easier job tonight more than anything. Jason was just a bit pissed off so he let off more steam than usual.
Jason tapped one gun against the side of his mask, a light little thump thump as he set his hand on his hip, surveying his work. He’d dump the cash in a fucking river. It was blood money and he had better things to do then get his hands on it. He’d rather just break another ATM. Fuck, I’m still pissed off. I should get Thai tonight.
Normally, Jason had a very nice, selective choice of arsenal on his person. Guns he’d tuned up and had tricked out. Nice, pretty things that never failed him. Classic knives, the works, he liked having options.
Jason let out an aggravated sigh, muffled through his mask. He scowled, kicking another limp body for emphasis and turning, wiping some blood off the corner of his jacket.
His fucking problem was that one of his pretty, nice little guns was missing. Gone. Lost. He was one hundred-fucking-percent sure it was his last job in Bludhaven after tangling up with Dickie Bird and having to scram before he received any kind of dark tongue lashing from Bats or the Demon Spawn pulled some sick shit like pulling Alfred up on speaker again to discuss his misdemeanors. Like the little shit can talk. Jason had come scrounging back, searching through the dockyard left and right for his gun and found nothing. Nada.
He really liked that gun too.
Have to put in an order for a new one. Jason rubbed the top of his mask, hooking his fingers to prepare taking it off. What a pain. Thai it is. I’m starving—
“Hi! Excuse me, but is this your gun?”
Jason stopped.
It took him a second to process what he was seeing. Only a second, because he sensed no blood thirst or killing intent—he still cocked his gun and pointed it at the newcomer without a single hesitation though because what the hell, right?—and he needed that good second because even quick footed, always adaptable, always moving Jason needed that fat second to understand what the fuck was in front of him.
Halfway through what appeared to be some kind of… portal? It was the weirdest fucking portal he’d ever seen and he’d seen some weird fucking portals. A bright yellow, piss yellow, stretching in a warped, warbling kind of flame in the middle of the air, as though cutting straight through dimensions. Jason could get a peek of something behind. A city? He sniffed the air. A dock?
In the middle of the portal, with one, combat booted foot out, was a slender leg covered in black tights. Black tights led to a black fitted top that was clad by a… a construction vest? A neon green construction vest. Over her face—he assumed her because of the body and hair, but who the hell was he to know, right?—was a weird mask of a man, like some kind of religious figure, covering her entire face. Her hair was pulled back into two buns on either side of her head.
In one bare hand, held out to him by this new person in the middle of a piss yellow portal, was his gun.
Jason stared.
“Sorry, I know, this must look strange, right?” you quickly apologized, stepping fully out of the portal. It disappeared and you now stood before him, mask and stupid construction vest and his gun. “Here! This should be yours unless…”
You trailed off, mask looking pointedly at the bodies scattered around them. “Oh, unless it’s one of these guys’s. Sorry about that.”
“What the fuck?” Jason said, rough through his mask. He still had the gun pointed at you.
You beamed behind your own. “I come in peace! Just trying to return this. Found it in the dock by… Fifth? It was glowing, so that meant someone was looking for it—”
“Hold on,” Jason waved his gun at you for emphasis. You nodded at it, waving his gun back. Jason almost laughed. Who the fuck is this clown? “I’ll ask you two questions. Just two. Depending how you answer, I’m going to shoot you, got it?”
“Oh,” you said, sounding a bit sullen. You glanced at your watch. “Will this take long? I have two more deliveries.”
“No,” Jason said. “Depending on how you answer.”
“...okay, shoot,” you said. You paused, quickly holding a hand when Jason raised his gun. “Sorry, I meant figuratively, please. Ask the questions.”
Jason cocked his masked head to the side. “Who the fuck are you. Why the fuck do you have my gun.”
“I feel like those weren’t phrased as questions—”
Jason shot at your feet. You yelped, jumping up. “Jeez! Is this what I get for doing a good deed? Saint Anthony! I’m Saint Anthony!”
“Yeah,” Jason said. “And I’m Jesus fucking Christ.”
Jason prepared to shoot your kneecap out and you squawked, tossing the gun his way. Jason quickly caught it, inspecting it for any damage before narrowing his eyes at you behind his mask. You wiped your hands off your pants like brushing off germs.
“That’s my alias,” you said, tapping your mask, a pious man’s face printed over it. “Saint Anthony! You know, the patron saint of lost things? The guy you pray to when you lose shit?”
“Do I look like I pray?” Jason said, pointing his gun to the drug dealer whose brains he’d blasted out. You made a small noise, as though just noticing.
“Well, you never know. Met some strange folks who pray and still do some very questionable things—let’s not get hasty!” Jason put his gun down. “That’s my codename! Have to be careful with this hero business, you know. I felt like it fits because of my power.”
You pointed to his gun and it began to glow a soft piss yellow. Jason dropped it in disgust, pulling his other gun back up and getting ready to shoot you. “I can see what items are lost! If an item belongs to someone and they’re looking for it, it’ll glow and I can see it like that. Then I pick it up and it teleports me to whoever it belongs to.”
“What the fuck are you saying?” Jason said. “You’re a human lost and found?”
“Yes! But much more effective,” you reached into a sack you had strapped to your back, opening it up for him to see where several more objects were glowing a piss yellow. “I decided I should put my talents to use, so I go around returning lost objects. Everybody loses something once in a while, you know? The other day I found this strange looking little USB and it turned out it belonged to Lex Luthor’s secretary and oh, boy, that was a sticky situation when Mr. Superman came and—”
Jason shot at your feet again. You jumped, clutching the sack protectively to your chest. “What the hell was that for?”
“I just felt like it,” Jason said. He tucked his gun back into his strap and picked up his now found weapon, inspecting it curiously. “Weird fucking power, sweetheart.”
You shrugged in a what-can-you-do manner.
“You said you were a hero?”
“Oh, more of a good samaritan,” you said, waving a hand. “I’ve just been working with the police lately on stolen goods. Sometimes burglars are real clumsy and drop items, you know? Apparently night vision goggles are very expensive so they’re always looking for those.”
You sighed, rubbing the back of your neck. Jason watched you in idle interest, having a bit of fun with this interaction. Been a while since he met anyone so fucking weird. He kind of liked it.
“Anthony, huh?”
“Yes!” you slung your sack back over your shoulder, sticking out a hand to him. “It’s very nice to meet you…?”
Jason tapped his gun against your palm in greeting. He tucked it back into its holster, giving you a long look behind his mask. You stopped, cocking your head at him. “What?”
“No, it’s just…” you rubbed the back of your neck. “Ah, nothing really. If we’re all squared away here, you mind if I take off? I’ve still got this pair of chain cutters and this funny looking stone to deliver.”
“You ever worry you’re delivering it to some weird place?” Jason said. “Or to someone who, I dunno, might kill you?”
“Oh, all the time,” you said cheerfully. “But usually I can take care of myself.” Jason quirked a brow behind his mask. “But thank you for your concern! I’ll be off then, Mr. Red. Thanks for your cooperation!”
You grabbed the funny shaped rock from the bag, a piss yellow portal appearing in front of you. Jason watched wordlessly as you stepped halfway through before turning back to him, raising a small hand in a little wave.
“Live a good life, Mr. Red!” you waved harder. “If you ever lose anything again, I’ll be sure to look out for it!”
Jason offered a lazy wave back, kicking a goon in the head who’d started to rouse.
You curled your fingers into your palm. The portal began to swallow you whole and you watched behind your mask as Jason turned, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
You figured for this particular customer, perhaps it was better not to say he was glowing a very beautiful, very somber shade of yellow.
Looks like whoever lost you is looking very hard for you, Mr. Red.

Within You - Bloodbound AU - Chapter 12
Summary: One year after defeating Gaius, the gang has finally found peace… Until a tragic incident awakens the ultimate and most dangerous threat they ever faced.
Genre: Angst/Adventure/Romance
Rating: T - Warning for violence and language
Amy
Amy was standing on the VIP backstage of a big event, where she could hear a famous singer playing distantly, as well as the excited crowd, chanting her name. She smiled, being Kamilah Sayeed's wife had its perks after all.
That was Amy's favorite song. She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment. However, the music became distant as a whisper and all that noise became silence. All her ears could detected were all those heartbeats... thousands of them. The blood being pumped from their hearts and flowing inside their veins. Their lives... so weak and so fragile. And they all belonged to her.
"Don't fight it. Embrace the blood, Amy."
Amy felt a hand on her shoulder, turning around, she faced Rheya. She had the same familiar grin on her face.
"No!" Amy yelled. "I'm not like you. I won't..."
"Too bad, darling," Rheya shrugged. "I don't need you anyways."
In just one movement, she raised her arms, absorbing all those lives. Electric power irradiated through all her body turning her into something even more inhumane, even more deadly, as thousands of bodies fell lifeless on the ground.
"Goddess Phampira is reborn," she announced.
"Fuck!" Amy woke up, sweating and panting. That was the fourth nightmare in a week. Rheya would never leave her alone, even in her sleep. The dream though, was becoming more vivid and clear everyday. It always involved the death of thousands of people, what made clear her intentions were far from an era of vampires and humans living together, in peace.
They had been staying in one of Katherine's safe houses, properly secured by magic against unwanted visitors. She got up from the bed, where Kamilah slept peacefully by her side, and went to the kitchen for a glass of water and a snack. Inside the fridge, she spotted a pudding and smiled. Considering how many people had been visiting that place lately, finding it felt almost like a treasure.
"The label, read it," a female voice spoke behind her, "If it says Ryder or Lowell, you can eat the pudding. Otherwise..."
Amy let out a chuckle, before looking at Katherine.
"Apparently it's Lysimachus'."
"All in the family, so I guess you're allowed to eat anyways."
She sat down at a stool, next to the Nighthunter. They had became quite close in the last few days. While she was not an expert, Katherine helped her training her combat skills and psychic abilities.
"Amy," she spoke, "about yesterday, you're not telling anyone, right? Not even Kamilah."
"Of course not. Your secret is safe with me."
Until then, Amy had no idea how she could use her powers to stop or weaken Rheya. The process to fully develop and control them would possibly take years and they couldn't waste any more time.
During a sparring session with Katherine, Amy was having a hard time to disarm her, or breaking free from her complex moves. She needed more than combat stunts to win that fight. Or end Rheya's reign of terror. If she couldn't handle a highly-trained mortal, how could she have a chance against an Ancient Vampire?
"Use her own memories. Dive into depths of her soul. Into who she is... into what made her."
A male voice whispered directly inside her head.
"Huh?!"
Amy didn't recognize it or even knew where it came from, but the hint of familiarity was enough for her to know she could trust him. Taking his advice, she pulled Katherine into the void.
Suddenly they were both standing in the middle of a desert at night, where she could hear voices and giggles coming from a camping tent. Two girls, one of them being a younger version of Katherine. Her hair was still brown. There was no tattoo or leather clothes.
"W-What the hell are you doing?" The Nighthunter's eyes went wide in pure horror. "Stop! Get me out of here!"
Feeling her panic, Amy tried to comply with her command but it wouldn't work. Her powers couldn't bring them back to the real world. They tried to run, bumping into invisible walls that trapped them into that memory.
Katherine fell down on her knees, completely destroyed. Amy turned around, gathering courage to watch the scene happening in front of her. A monster emerged from behind a bush, chasing both of the girls. While Katherine made it safe back to her truck, the other girl fell behind. Succumbing to the creatures huge jaws.
"Kat-,"
"Ava?!" She called. "I... I'm coming... I..."
She started to unbuckle the seat belt to go back and help her friend but it was too late. The girl's screams were silenced and the creature's eyes were aiming to her next. Katherine stomped on the pedals and drove away as fast as she could, sobbing.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."
Amy took a deep breath, getting emotionally involved to that horrible situation. Katherine was right, bringing her there was cruel. That was her worst memory. The one that shaped her into who she was now.
"Please," she sat by her side on the ground, touching her shoulder, "forgive me. I didn't intend to bring you here. God, this is horrible."
"It was my fault," Katherine continued to cry intensely, "I didn't help her. I ran away like a coward."
"It'd have killed you too."
"She was my everything... she was all I had..."
The voice who first guided Amy into that moment returned, she understood the reason behind all of that, besides training her own powers. It wasn't about her. Not anymore.
"Katherine, you were just a girl," she told. "There was nothing you could do."
"I...I wish it had been me!" She grabbed Amy by the collar, pointing to her friend's corpse on the ground. "Me! Ava was the sweetest person. She was special! She... had an unique heart."
The corpse in front of them vanished into ashes, shaping into another scene, one where Katherine herself was lying dead on the floor.
"W-What..." she approached. The void teleported them to another location, a mental institution.
"It was my fault..." Ava repeated, non-stop, while shaking her body back and forth on the bed. "I killed her... I killed her..."
The doctors, or even her own parents, would never believe a monster was responsible for Katherine's death. The stories spreading around ranged from a possible animal attack to rumors that the girls were under the effect of drugs, causing Ava to murder her best friend. Inside her cell, after weeks of loneliness and hallucinations about that night, Ava took her own life.
"Oh god," Katherine covered her mouth. "No! Ava... H-How could them?! You didn't..."
"You're here for a reason, for a purpose," Amy wrapped her arms around her. "You're not a coward, Katherine. You're a warrior. She wanted you to be here. And she forgives you. I can feel it."
After that, she could tell something started to change inside that woman. A burden she had been carrying was being taken from her shoulders, bringing some peace to her tormented soul. Amy's psychic powers didn't defeat her, but they cured her.
"Thank you for that," Katherine gave her a small smile and squeezed her hand. "I really needed it. To see what it had been like if..."
She stopped. Not comfortable to go further into that subject yet.
"Anytime. We all have our own demons to fight."
"Speaking of which, are you ready to fly back to New York tomorrow and face your... nana?"
Amy rolled her eyes, and sighed.
"No. Not even a bit."
----------
Kamilah
The plan didn't feel too elaborated, or even secure, but it was the only choice they had.
The group should return to New York immediately. Kamilah woke up with her cell phone ringing. It was Adrian, with the latest news from Rheya. In the following night, she would be attending an auction at The Metropolitan, where only the most wealth and influential people in the city had been invited to. How she made her way to the guest list was a mystery, but considering Amy's visions, that sounded like a perfect opportunity to commit mass murder.
She called up a meeting with the rest of the group to come up with a plan. Katherine and Nik managed to get into the security team, using as excuse an artifact rumored to be cursed. Being in the guest list, Adrian would attend the event as planned. Kamilah was surprised to not find her own name in it.
Lily and Jax were also contacted and included as part of the mission. While Lily would stay in a safe location, monitoring the place through cameras and pointing directions, Jax would stay outside with some members of his clan, waiting for a false warning to evacuate the building. No mortals should stay at the museum.
The only threat to Rheya's life was the blood of her betrothed, Demetrius, so Ivy cautiously extracted some drops from Lysimachus' blade and added to the tips of taser-like device. Once the building was evacuated, Nik and Katherine would shoot Rheya, temporarily paralyzing her.
Then, would come the hardest part. Amy would emerge from her secret location, one where only she and the Nighthunters would know, and attack Rheya with the bloodied dagger.
"You will need efforts," Katherine told her. "Kamilah and Adrian should be enough to hold her steady and then... you stab her. Right in the heart, as we've been practicing"
"Wait," Lysimachus protested. Kamilah knew it was only a matter of time. "Aren't you missing anything? I'm stronger than Adrian. What's my role in this?"
Kamilah sighed deeply. Before the reunion, she met Katherine in private. Considering how her brother had a previous confrontation with Rheya and how he became her target, they both decided to leave him out of the mission.
"What?! Have you two been plotting against me, behind my back?" Her twin brother protested.
Kamilah was about to patiently list the reasons why he shouldn't be joining the plan, but Katherine anticipated it, rolling her eyes and sighing in annoyance.
"Genius, hear it. Awakening the devil's wrath, right into her nest, wasn't the smartest of your decisions. If she spots you waltzing around The Met, you'll doom us all."
"What she means," Kamilah tried to ease her words, "Rheya would suspect it, if she suddenly see you back to New York."
"Let me take Lily's place," Lysimachus begged. "I'll stay hidden somewhere, monitoring the location and giving instructions. I can emit the false warning. Please, don't leave me behind."
And she agreed, wondering if that was the right decision. Lysimachus could be impulsive when it came to protecting the ones he loved. And three people he cared deeply about would be inside the museum, face to face with the First Vampire. She called Katherine, requesting some last moment actions.
When Kamilah was alone in her bedroom again, she opened her laptop and some news popped-up on her screen, making her eyes go wide in shock.
"Ahmanet Financial presents new CEO: Rheya Apostolous," the headlines said. Apparently, somebody sabotaged her company, causing the actions to plummet in only a few days. Due to Kamilah's absence, a boarding meeting was called and somehow they elected Rheya as the new CEO. She was able to reverse the damage immediately, gaining the respect of all employees and clients.
Kamilah's image was now painted as irresponsible and unprofessional, who refused to answer calls or reply emails. Calls and emails that never happened. Nobody ever warned her about what was happening at Ahmanet Financial.
"That bitch will pay for this," she shouted, slamming the laptop shut.
----------
Lysimachus
In a dangerous battle, where the lives of so many people Lysimachus cared about were at stake, he couldn't act like a simple beholder. He needed to think of a plan B, in case the main plan went wrong.
He lied to the others, saying he needed to pack his bags. Back to his apartment, he opened a hidden passage inside his closet, where he kept some of his most deadly weapons. His biggest surprise was to find it completely empty.
"What?!" Lysimachus punched the wall. The only person capable of opening his blood-secured devices was his twin sister. And Kamilah knew him enough to know he wouldn't stay put, when Rheya could kill everyone.
When he returned to the living room, Katherine was standing there with her arms crossed.
"You were taking too long," she said. "I came here to check if you need any help packing you bags."
"Katherine, where are my weapons?"
"Your sister gave me some of her blood to empty your closet. She imagined you could be planning something stupid inside this head of yours."
"Listen..." he ran his hand through his hair nervously, "I could do the security part too, under that outfit no one would recognize me."
"Right," Katherine smiled, sarcastically, "only Rheya. Who possesses power over your blood."
"I'm worried about you. I mean... all of you. She's extremely dangerous and manipulative."
"Facing her is the only choice we have to save the humankind. It's a risk we have to take."
"Not you, okay?! Then stay behind. Let us, vampires, handle it. We're her progeny. We brought her back. It's our problem!"
"I'm already involved."
There was an uncomfortable silence between them. Lysimachus wanted to find anything, any arguments that could convince Katherine to stay. There was a discourse prepared inside his mind, but somehow he couldn't say it. The words would lose themselves somewhere between his heart and his throat.
"So..." he broke the silence, changing the subject, "you went shopping with Amy this morning."
"What's the surprise?" Katherine shrugged. "Two women bonding over expensive shoes. Nothing weird about it."
"You don't do shopping. It's not you."
"I do, maybe not so often but... in case you never noticed, I need clothes too."
Another pause. Lysimachus finally noticed her hair. It was a couple of inches shorter, and the magenta color more intense than in the last few weeks.
"You also did..." he twirled a finger on her curls, about to comment it, but she interrupted him with a small velvet box.
"I got you something," they spoke at the same time.
Lysimachus took the box from her hands, opening it carefully. It was a necklace. The pendant was beautiful and quite unique. A blue light irradiated from a tiny vial inside it.
"But why?" He asked, furrowing his brows confused.
Katherine grabbed the necklace and standing in the tips of her toes, she wrapped it around his neck herself. She was so close to him in that moment that it felt extremely comfortable and scary at the same time. Lysimachus felt his heart thundering inside his chest.
"Only to..." she leaned back a little, facing him. Their lips were only a whisper away. "Make it easier."
She grabbed him by the new necklace, closing that distance. Her lips never felt so soft and warm before. Her tongue met his and he explored it as much as he could, knowing it could be the last time.
"I hope you know," he smirked when they parted, "I don't intend to take this off."
"You better not," she pulled him by the necklace again, pressing her lips once more.
"Does that mean..."
"We will be doing it more often? Yes."
- MxF Smut Alert -
In an impulse of joy and excitement, Lysimachus pinned her against the nearest wall, devouring her mouth all over again. Katherine responded by nibbling on his lower lip.
"We're gonna be late," she gripped tight on his hair. "We're supposed to be in the airport in ten minutes."
"Twenty?" Lysimachus brushed his lips on her neck, while his hands caressed her side, raising shivers.
"Fifteen."
They both nodded, removing each others' clothes in a frenzied mode. He lifted her up against the wall again and she wrapped her legs around his hips. Lysimachus could feel her warmness calling for him, inviting him... he decided to give her a little taste of what she wanted, teasing her and then pulling back.
"W-What..." she let out a muffled protest.
"Shhhh," Lysimachus silenced her, parting her lips with his tongue and kissing her fiercely.
He could sense how his slow and lazy movements were driving Katherine crazy. He grinned, thrusting a little bit harder. She responded by digging her nails on his shoulder blades, as pleasure started building inside her.
"What do you want?" Lysimachus stopped again, gazing into her brown eyes. "Say it. I want to hear you say it."
"You," Katherine whispered in his ear. Her legs tightened around his hips, attempting to bring him back to where she wanted him the most. "All of you."
As his mouth worked on her neck, scratching her sensitive skin with the tips of his fangs, he intensified his rhythm, thrusting faster and deeper. She arched her head back, moaning loudly. Feeling Katherine's climax, it didn't take long for Lysimachus to reach his own too.
----------
Kamilah
"Is everything okay?" Amy asked, noticing Kamilah's tension at the airport.
They were the first to arrive. Nik was picking up some weapons and she didn't want to imagine why her brother and his possible girlfriend were taking so long to arrive. One thought wouldn't leave her mind. She wanted revenge. Rheya used her company to gain status among the New York's society.
"It will be," Kamilah clenched her fists, "when we kill that snake."
"I'm sorry for what she did. Once she's gone, I'm sure they'll be able to see this misunderstanding and you'll have your company back."
"I don't care much about the company, Amy. I'm more angry about how she fooled me, how she turned me against my own brother and especially, how she tried to take you from me. I feel so guilty for falling into her traps."
"We all did. God, I completely opened up to her. I told her everything about my life, about us and our plans. All the time she was collecting information to use in her favor."
Amy went behind her, applying some relaxing massage on her muscles.
"Are you ready for this?" Kamilah placed a hand over hers.
"I have to be," Amy showed her their hands together and pointed to their wedding bands. "We have a future to build together."
"We do."
Kamilah placed a rushed kiss on her lips, as she noticed the others coming in their direction. Lysimachus had fewer less bags then she assumed, considering how long he took to pack them.
"Oh my god," Amy seemed notice it too. "You guys were totally doing it!"
Katherine blushed and walked away discreetly, to help Nik to carry their stuff to the private jet. Her brother stayed, choking on his words while he tried to explain how come they got so late. He blamed the traffic. Amy teasing and joking about their relationship was a nice distraction for a few minutes, until the plane took flight and they remembered where they were headed too. After that, a deadly silence made everyone too frightened to even speak. They'd only exchange some glances once in a while.
Amy rested her head on Kamilah's shoulder. She imagined what was going on inside her wife's mind, knowing she was destined to kill Rheya, after finding out they were related by blood. That girl had more strength and energy than any other person Kamilah had met before. She knew was capable of that mission, being the only one who could resist the First Vampire's influence. But at what cost? How she have to succumb completely to those dark powers again?
"Kamilah..." Amy whispered close to her ear, placing a soft kiss on the crook of her neck, "what are you thinking about?"
"You," Kamilah answered, running her fingers through Amy's hair. She was her main and only concern at the moment.
- FxF Smut Alert -
"Good, me too. Can you meet me at the back of the plane in a couple of minutes?"
"For what purpose?"
She didn't answer, she only grinned and raised a suggestive eyebrow, walking through the corridor until the very end of the airship. Kamilah looked around, Nik had his eyes closed in some kind of meditation. Katherine had earphones on, listening to some music. Lysimachus was focused on his laptop. She left her seat too, moving cautious and silent.
"Amy! What are we..." Kamilah asked puzzled, when she met her wife by the toilet's door.
"Shhh..." Amy silenced her with a kiss. Not any kiss. A powerful kiss that sent electric impulses down to Kamilah's spine. The way she glided her tongue against hers, made her knees tremble. Her back hit the wall, causing some noise. Luckly, nobody seemed to be alarmed. She pulled Amy closer by the waist with one hand, while the other unlocked the toilet's door.
"I figured out we didn't have a moment alone before we left," inside the toilet, Amy continued to kiss her, desperately. "And I wanted to tell you and show you how much I love you... how much I need you..."
"You could've said it back at the safe house. We could've find time for..." Kamilah stopped, watching as the girl unzipped her dress, exposing a new lingerie. Her eyes couldn't leave the perfect curve of her breasts. "This."
"I know. I just... I was so focused on Rheya, on my role in this mission and I forgot the most important."
"It's not like we won't have another opportunity."
Kamilah wanted to be sure of that, but she wasn't. She didn't spoke it with the confidence she was trying to appear.
"Will we?" Amy gazed deeply into her eyes. She was scared and insecure too. She desired the same as Kamilah. That they had more time and moments of peace.
"You know what?" Kamilah pressed her wife against the sink, positioning herself between her legs. Her fingers trailing up her tights. "Screw Rheya. Just be quiet, don't make any noises or..."
"Or?" Amy bit her lower lip in a provoking manner.
"I'll stop. And trust me, you won't want me to stop."
As her fingers moved up slowly, starting to work on her wife's center. Kamilah could feel her mouth against her neck, fighting to muffle her moans. She smirked, pressing in harder. Amy's back arched against her grip and she let out a gasp.
"What was that?" Kamilah stopped for a moment. Teasing Amy by pinching her inner tight's soft skin. "Was that a... sound?"
The girl shook her head in denial.
"As I thought."
Kamilah proceeded, going deeper into her. She could hear Amy's fast heartbeats, as well as her ragged breaths. Her fingers dug hard on Kamilah's back, as she tried to control herself.
"Good girl," she fastened her movements and as Amy's body started to twitch in ecstasy, she escaped a moan. Kamilah quickly silenced her with a kiss.
Amy was panting hard when they finished, but she had a mischievous smirk on her lips.
"Well..." her eyes turned red as she pushed Kamilah hard against the door, making it rattle. "Time for round two."
She went directly to Kamilah's neck, biting and sucking, while her hands caressed between her legs, over the fabric of her underwear.
The older vampire was able to control herself just fine. She was long used to those games.
Amy's fingers slid into her lingerie, stroking harder and faster. Waves of pleasure started to run through all her body. Kamilah's nails gripped tight on the door, as she fought her own sounds.
"What is that, Kamilah? Struggling much?" As Amy sank her fangs into neck, drawing some blood and licking it seductively. Kamilah couldn't hold herself anymore. She collapsed in absolute pleasure, letting out some noise.
"I love you, Amy. I can't lose you..."
"You won't. I love you too."
They both tried to recompose themselves before walking back to their seats.
"Well, now we've got a reason to live," Kamilah squeezed her hand on the way. Amy looked at her confused. "Our game is tied. We'll need a round three later."
----------
Amy
As the plane landed in New York, everything was set for the beginning of the mission. Kamilah and Amy were wearing their gala dresses, Jax and Lily were waiting to pick them up at the airport and drive to the museum.
Nik and Katherine were disguised as security team members. A van waited for them with high-technology equipment, where Lysimachus would stay, monitoring the place and giving directions. Everyone was wearing ear plugs, provided by Raines Corporation. Adrian was already in position. So far, Rheya hadn't arrived for the auction.
"Amy, do you have the blade with you?" Katherine asked through the ear plug. Amy confirmed, touching the plastic bag inside her purse. "We've arrived. Nik will be waiting for you in one of the side entrances. He'll conduct you to your hideaway."
"Okay," Amy felt her heart stopping for a moment as Jax parked the car. "I'll be meeting him in a few minutes."
"Right. And Amy... the most important, no one can know where you are. The only mind Rheya can't easily access is yours."
"Got it."
Amy said a brief goodbye to her friends. She considered embracing Kamilah and tell her how much she loved her again, but she didn't. Not only because she would start crying, but she feared it would jinx their mission.
Nik Ryder was waiting for her at the left side entrance of The Metropolitan. After conducting her to a closed session of the museum no one would have access to, he informed Katherine.
"What do I do now?" She asked the male Nighthunter.
"You wait," he told her. "Lysimachus will tell you when to enter. There's a passage that leads to the auction location right there on that wall. You put this password on the device and it shall open."
He didn't say anything else before vanishing, leaving her in the dark, completely alone. Her only comfort was to know Lysimachus was hearing and watching everything.
The Metropolitan had always been her favorite museum in New York. Her dad would always bring her to visit every Summer or Spring Break. Being a History teacher, he had his own manner of showing and explaining everything about the different sections, making the experience feel even more amazing. Now all that magic had faded away, it was simply... creepy. She looked around, feeling goosebumps all over her body. For some reason, she could feel Rheya had arrived. She felt her presence somewhere in the building.
"She's here," she spoke to Lysimachus on the ear plug. "I can feel it."
"Just a second," he answered. "Thanks, Amy. I spotted her. She's... uhh... being photographed."
Amy sighed and rolled her eyes in displeasure. Rheya had power not only over every living vampire, but over mortals too. It only took her days to become a requested presence in every VIP event. She also had her own Instagram account now, with thousands of followers.
"Listen, I need to keep focused her on her right now. I'll be calling you, at the right moment."
And she was alone again. She started walking around. The temperature seemed to have dropped, she suddenly started to wish she had brought a coat. The lack of news made her even more nervous. Was Kamilah okay? What about Jax and Lily? She was about to ask Lysimachus when she sensed a presence.
"Who's there?" She asked. There was no answer, but she could see a shape moving in the shadows. She went to combat mode, her eyes scanning all her surroundings. Her ears detected another heartbeat around. A vampire's heartbeat.
"Amy," a hand touched her shoulder from behind, making her jump, "ma cherie."
"Serafine," she pressed the button on her ear plug discreetly, forcing Lysimachus to hear the conversation, "what are you doing here?"
The female vampire's expression changed.
"I was searching for you. We must talk, urgently."
"What is going on?"
"Amy," she pressed her index finger on Amy's forehead, making her feel dizzy, "I saw as you left the car and met that hunter. If you're thinking about betraying Rheya, you'll commit the greatest mistake of your life."
"Serafine..." Amy squirmed in pain. Her psychic waves were causing a sharp pain in her skull. "She... She's the only traitor here. She's the... First Vampire."
"I know. This is why I've been helping her."
"What? How could you?!"
"Amy..." the psychic vampire forced her on her knees. "For centuries I lived in fear. Hiding in the shadows, running away to survive, changing my identity and habits. Now Rheya is back we will finally be able to live in peace. She'll grant us a new era and a safe world to live."
"She won't," Amy fought against her powers. She couldn't even hear what Lysimachus was saying through the plug. "She... she will exterminate the humankind for power. I can see it in my visions, can't you?"
She tried to show Serafine some of her visions. But it was useless, she refused to see what was right in front of her. Nothing seemed to change her opinion about Rheya.
"I'm sorry, Amy. I can't let you proceed with your plans."
"Well, then we'll fight."
Remembering all the lessons she had with Katherine, Amy focused on her emotions. Her anger, her pain, her fear... gathering strength from all of it. She could sense her powers emerging inside of her. As Serafine tried to get into her brain again, she entered hers instead. It was easy to control her. To put her on her knees, begging for mercy.
"R-Rheya, my goddess. I'm so sorry... I failed."
Amy approached. Touching and lifting up her chin. She could feel the French vampire's blood running in her veins. She could feel her heart beating inside her chest. And most of all... she seemed to have control over it. Not only she could make her suffer, but she could end her life at any moment.
"Ask your goddess to save you a place by her side... in hell."
She started sending a surge of electricity right inside Serafine's brain. She screamed in agony.
"Amy!" Lysimachus shouted on the ear plug, pulling her back to reality. "Are you alright? I couldn't hear you. There was only static coming from your plug."
"I had to deal with Serafine," she examined the vampire lying unconscious on the floor. "But I didn't kill her. She's only passed out."
"Leave her right there, we can solve this later. At this point, she must have told Rheya everything through their psychic link. We need to act right now."
"Okay."
Amy gripped tightly on the dagger, hidden inside her purse. She waited for a signal to type the code Nik previously gave her. Standing by the door, she feared what came next.
----------
Lysimachus
"Oh fuck!" Lysimachus punched the keyboard. How did they forget about Serafine Dupont? It was obvious Rheya had a servant. Someone that had been helping her in all her actions, being at places she couldn't be. No one better than a psychic vampire to erase memories and manipulate minds. He called Katherine on his microphone. "We've got a big problem. Serafine Dupont has been working for Rheya and she discovered us. She's a psychic vampire too. At this point... Rheya knows."
"Release the warning. Order Lily and Jax to evacuate the building."
"Sure."
He did as told. The speakers on the museum announced there was a bomb that could be exploding at any moment, planted in one of the artifacts for auction. People started to panic, heading to the exit and he spotted Jax and Lily, guiding them outside. In the middle of all that crowd, all that mess, he lost her. Rheya wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"Damn it! Katherine, we should abort the mission. Everything went wrong. I lost her."
"I didn't," she replied. "I can see her from where I'm standing. It may be our only chance. We'll be shooting in 3... 2... 1..."
"No!" Lysimachus shouted, but it was too late. From the high-definition screens he watched as Rheya stopped the devices mid-air, preventing them from getting attached to her body.
She raised one hand, making Katherine and Nik fall on their knees in excruciating pain. Raising the other hand, all the other vampires joined her in the room. One by one, they all went down on their knees too. Including Priya and Lester.
"Tell Amy..." Katherine gasped for air, indicating she was struggling to breath, "to follow plan B. She's... the only one who knows."
"O-Okay. Katherine... I'm getting in there."
"You can't... I... locked the van's door... from outside."
Lysimachus passed Amy the last instructions, before uselessly trying to open the van, or break its bulletproof windows with his fists.
"Fuck!" While his broken and bleeding knuckles healed, he observed Amy had joined the others, pretending to be under Rheya's command too.
The First Vampire placed all of them in a circle, standing in the middle.
"I don't even know what the seven hells I'm doing here," Priya argued. "What bitchcraft is this?!'
"I'm scared," Lester added, "but kinda turned on too. Who's the lady?"
"She's the First Vampire," Jax told them with a scowl.
"And no one informed us about it?! Do you remember this is what this damn Council is for, Adrian?"
"Priya, I'm sorry," Adrian told. "But considering your history, I thought I could not be a good idea."
"Are you calling me a traitor?!"
"My children, silence," Rheya spoke softly and calm, with her usual devious grin, interrupting the argument. "Now we're all reunited, we can finally start our party."
"Rheya!" Kamilah angered. "Let us out! Now!"
"Why, darling? The fun is only beginning," the woman caressed his twin sister's cheek, before moving a empty champagne bottle directly to her hands. "Actually, I've learned from mortals a few games we could play tonight. This one is called Truth Or Dare, but... there are new rules. My rules. First, I'll place the bottle here in middle of the circle and... I'll spin it."
She demonstrated. The bottle stopped on Lily.
"Lily Spencer. You'll be telling us one truth, then you'll perform a dare. You cannot lie or refuse the dare. If you break the rules, you're out of the game."
Out of the game. Lysimachus could read in her face that was a death threat. The others could too, considering the glances they exchanged.
"O-Okay..." Lily forced a smile. "I'm good at this game."
"So tell us, Lily," Rheya placed her hand on Lily's head, as if she was extracting information and forcing her to speak. "Spill us some juicy secrets. Is it true you've got a secret crush on someone here in this room?"
Lily took a moment to answer, looking extremely scared and upset. She faced Amy with a mournful look.
"M-Me? I mean, it's a silly thing. No big deal"
"But who would be that person, darling? Your friends are curious to know."
Lily swallowed dry.
"Kamilah."
"Wow, kinky," Rheya let out a small laugh. "Now Lily, I dare you to show us your deepest thoughts about Kamilah. Unfortunately only vampires with psychic abilities will be able to see it, but I can describe for the others. Don't worry."
Being a psychic vampire and connected to the scene, Lysimachus was also pulled to Lily's memories and thoughts. He could see the night of Amy's debut party, when a drunk Lily accidentally hit on his sister. Or her many thoughts about how she wished to be in Amy's place. And also, her sexual fantasies.
When they got back, Lysimachus buried his face in his hands in desperation. Amy's expression changed. He could tell something had changed inside her. She was broken. Destroyed.
"I'm sorry," Lily muttered to her best friend.
Amy answered with a cold and hard gaze.
Rheya's intentions were clear, she was removing all barriers between the girl and her humanity. First, the Order attack, that unleashed the darkness within her temporarily. Now, by ruining her friendship with Lily.
"Good girl, Lily," Rheya returned to the center of the circle, after describing everything she saw, and spun the bottle again. "Let's see who's next."
"Oh my god," he feared what she was planning for his sister. The most significant person in Amy's life. She was the only one who could prevent her from succumbing to darkness completely.
The bottle stopped, pointing at Katherine. Rheya looked to one of the security cameras. At this point, she should already know Lysimachus was watching. She was provoking him.
"Katherine..." he tried to speak.
"I've got this," she assured him, speaking as low as possible.
"A mortal," Rheya crouched to be face to face with her. "Katherine, the Nighthunter. We finally meet."
She extended a hand. Katherine took it, confident and fearless. Unlike Lily, she didn't show any signs of distress. The only comfort Lysimachus had was to remember how she studied deeply every case she was hired for. She probably knew a lot about the woman in front of her.
"Rheya Apostolous. The legendary First Vampire."
"That's correct. What else do you know about me?"
"Goddess Phampira has granted you those powers when you were trapped in a cave, by an evil king," Katherine wasn't even a little bit intimidated. "You drank the blood from the Tree Of Eternal life and you were... reborn. After taking the king's place, you planned to create a kingdom where humans and vampires could coexist."
"Remarkable," Rheya smiled.
"I heard you have endless powers. The powers of a living goddess."
"Not yet, but I'm close."
Rheya stood up, walking around the circle pensive.
"Now, darling," she went back to Katherine, placing a hand on the top of her head, like she did to Lily. "Let's talk about you. I see... a potential inside you. You... you've been there too. Someone you loved was taken from you, correct?"
Katherine lowered her eyes, fighting off all the emotions Rheya brought back to the surface.
"She was my everything," she said. "And she was taken from me. I blame myself everyday, wondering how I could make things different."
"So this is why you hunt supernatural creatures. Tell me, would you do anything to bring her back?"
"I would."
Rheya seemed to be fascinated. Coming from her, Lysimachus couldn't tell if that was a good or a bad thing.
"Now it's time for your dare," the First Vampire announced. "I dare you to tell me... their plan," she pointed to the vampires on the circle.
"That's easy," Katherine smiled, keeping her posture. "They have a secret weapon against you."
"That's enough. It was a pleasure to meet you, my dear Katherine. You'll be rewarded by your honesty in the end of the game."
She looked at the camera again. Lysimachus felt consumed by rage. She was using Katherine to torture him. He knew it. He started banging at the van's windows again.
"Help!" He yelled. "Somebody help me!"
His attention went back to the screen. Rheya spun the bottle again, searching for her next target. It almost stopped, pointing at Kamilah. But a small force, a psychic force, moved it a little bit further, stopping at... Amy.
"Amy!" Rheya clapped her hands together. "My precious grandchild."
"Rheya," Amy tried to plead, "let them go. This... this is all my fault."
The First Vampire touched her head too. Her face only showed frustration, disappointment. She couldn't get into Amy's mind like she did with the others.
"Did you really want to kill me, darling?"
"I... I don't know. I like you, Rheya. I admire you. But you're scaring me with all these things you've been doing."
"Oh sweetheart," Rheya caressed her cheek, "I've told you I'd never do anything to hurt you. All I've done is for the best. To give you the world you deserve to live."
"Then let them go. I trust you and I'll help you in your goal. I promise!"
"If that's how you feel... I will grant your wish. But first, you must complete your dare."
"Of course."
"Where's the weapon, Amy? The one that is supposed to kill me. Show me."
Rheya made the motion of freeing Amy's hands, without knowing the girl was only pretending to be bounded. The girl opened her purse, revealing the bloodied dagger.
"Amy..." Lysimachus sighed. "What are you doing? That was certainly not the plan."
Rheya stared at the dagger in shock. Analyzing the black poisonous blood on its blade.
"Demetrius..." her faced turned from sadness and mourn to into a ugly snarl in a second. "How could you find him and try to use him against me?"
"I-I didn't," Amy tried to calm her down. "I didn't know about him or the blade until a few days ago, in New Orleans. But Rheya, he's forgiven you for all you've done. He said he loves you, and always will."
Lysimachus couldn't tell what the First Vampire's reaction was upon that revelation. Rheya's expression was unreadable as she kept looking at Demetrius' blood.
He heard police cars and sirens parking at the entrance of the museum. Somebody knocked at the door.
"Hey," he called. "Help me out. I'm trapped in here!"
"Sir, are you alright?" A police officer answered from the outside. "Be patient. We'll set you free in a minute."
They started working on opening the van's door, meanwhile Rheya continued her sick game with the group.
"Ungrateful whelp! You don't deserve living in peace. You deserve pain and misery, being hunted as the insects you are. I did not achieve perfection with my creation, I only faced betrayal!"
"Rheya, we're not going to hurt you," Amy insisted. "We were only scared. Let us go, please."
"Oh Amy..." she approached her granddaughter again. "Now I understand. This city is your kingdom, it was always meant to be yours."
"Rheya..."
"I'll let you rule. I should return to my kingdom in Europe, where I can try to make my creation perfect."
A loud bang from the outside made the van's door burst open. Before several cops entered, Lysimachus turned off the monitors and transferred the video to his phone. They checked on him and inspected the van, searching for evidence of the rumored bomb inside The Metropolitan.
Outside, he watched nervously the last events. Rheya continued her maniac speech with that lethal weapon in hands.
"You're so perfect, so pure. You could only descend from my Iola," she fondly stroked Amy's hair. "Everything I created was always so impure, so dirty... Gaius was nothing more than a brainless puppet and Xenocrates turned into a traitor. Like each one of them!"
"Then..." Amy swallowed dry, trying to get into her mind. "W-We can make them pure. In our New World."
Rheya let out a small laugh.
"Oh Amy, they can't be fixed. But I've always had this theory. I wondered what Demetrius and I could've created together after we were changed." Her eyes flashed red and she jerked her right hand. "And now I'm about to test it."
She pulled Katherine close to her body, holding her by the neck and forcing her to feed from her bleeding wrist. The Nighthunter thrashed and cried under her strong grip.
"No..." Lysimachus rushed straight to the museum's doors. They were sealed by Rheya's psychic powers. He closed his eyes, focusing on what he learned ages ago. That kind of protection was weak to other psychic vampires. Any of them could easily break it.
The doors opened, just in time for him to see Rheya about to stab Katherine with the poisonous blade. Like a blur, he moved across the room, landing on her and throwing her away from the group.
Katherine was free. But he rolled on the floor with Rheya, fighting for the possession of the dagger. Lysimachus held its hilt tightly, pointing it to her chest.
"You..." Rheya snarled. "I had a great purpose for you and you betrayed me."
"Go serve your purpose in hell, Rheya."
Lysimachus tried to move his hand for the final blow, but Rheya grabbed his wrist, crushing it into pieces.
"I gave you a gift... and now I'm taking it away!"
She turned the dagger in the opposite direction, burring it into his stomach. The effects of Demetrius blood instantly started to take effect. Lysimachus felt his entire body being consumed by darkness and pain.
As he felt on the floor, starting to convulse, the last thing he watched was Rheya vanishing across the sections of the museum. Into the darkness.

Jajshhahahah okay so- could you possibly write the bad idea we discussed with Venus getting injured in combat? ||wo
warnings: Blood, violence, cursing, minor character death
word count: 3,429
Saturn is Cap’s dreammare kid. And Venus is Izzy’s.
Summary: Venus gets injured in combat
“Dad, please? I am a capable and deadly fighter! I haven’t hesitated when taking the necessary kill since my fifth one, which was many years ago! I was the one who gathered all of the data on the AU it’s at the others are about to invade. I know the Royal Guards tactics best, I figured out which psychological buttons to push in order to make the head of the Guard go into a mindless rage so that she can’t think tactically… And it’s not as if I want to solo this AU, I just want to help the others conquer this timeline for you… Dad, please?” Venus begged, a stubbornly determined expression on their face. They weren’t going to be left behind this time when it came down to the real fighting. “And you even said that you probably weren’t going to even fight in this neutral timeline due to the human slaughtering half of the monsters in the underground years ago in that timeline and most of the rest with a significant loss of Hope, which means that their magic will be weakened and their HP lower than standard…”
Nightmare sighed a little bit at that, trying to determine what was the best option. Venus had been pushing for this after they had sparred and beaten each of his lieutenants individually in practice matches that both opponents had been taking seriously. But he… Really didn’t want to risk his child’s life like that, grown adult though they were. But all the evidence pointed to a relatively easy capture Don’t underestimate your opponents. Fear and desperation can be a source of strength as well as a distraction. I want you to be with at least two of my lieutenants at all times during the entire time you are there, including during any lulls in fighting or after the initial surrender as it could be a trap, as it has been in the past. Do you understand this, Venus?”
Venus huffed a little bit and folded their arms across their chest, a mutinous expression appearing on their face… BUt they could sense their father’s worry and concern over their wellbeing and with a sigh, relented.. The only times that they had fought against other beings, they had been at Nightmare’s side the entire time, so this was actually showing more trust and faith in their abilities. “I promise to abide by the rules you give me, dad. I’ll be with at least two of the others the whole time I’m gone…” They moved closer to their dad and hugged him tightly for a moment, grateful for the chance to prove themself.
“Thank you, Venus. I know that you are strong, but I just… I can’t… I can’t lose you, my precious little one.” Nightmare murmured softly, hugging them back just as tightly, tucking them under his chin and humming softly, reminded of times long past when he’d held both Venus and Saturn close with Dream shivering and hiding behind him, or desperately clinging to the three of them, trying to whisper reassurances. None of the three of them were the least bit fond of storms - and particularly thunder and lightning.
“You won’t, Dad.” Venus promised, hugging their dad back more, their words a little bit muffled by the fact that they were kind of hiding their face into his chest. It was nice to be held like this. But it wasn’t professional and they knew that The Bad Sanses as they were apparently called would be coming to the throne room soon to get the debrief about the mission that the five of them were about to go on. They were pretty sure that either Hatchet or Killer were going to be the ones leading the team - which suited them just fine - they didn’t have experience leading a group of people on a strike mission after all.
“I hope so.” Nightmare whispered, pressing a paternal kiss to the top of their skull, only letting them go as soon as they both sensed the approach of the rest of the team.
~
All three of Venus’s odd pseudo uncles as well as their honorary big brother had taken their safety very seriously throughout the mission so far. It was a bit frustrating to have been stuck in the dead center of the group - with Cross (who was the fastest of the five of them) on their right, and all of them having summoned blasters at the ready to shoot anything foolish enough to get within twenty feet of them… But they had been able to actually fight, rather than just sneak around and get information on an AU that their dad wanted to take over, which was an exciting change of pace. They used their negative powers to weaken the resolve of the monsters the group faced, which probably helped to shorten the battles.
What was left of the royal guard had crumbled and broken before the five of them, and Venus sent a small smile Cross’s way, knowing that all they had to do was to get to the castle and find the cowering and snivelling monarch to beg for their life, and the will of their people would be broken.
But as they marched towards the castle, all hell broke loose. The Sans of the AU - who hadn’t been seen up until now - teleported in out of nowhere, three alternate Sanses at his side - A Swapfell, a FellSwap (or was that the other way around? Venus couldn’t quite keep the two verses straight in their mind) and a Horrorfell. Their Papyri flying in from behind the group. A soft gasp left their lips - nothing that shown that this Sans had contact with the wider multiverse. Shit.
Cross was the first to respond, summoning dozens of DT blades and flinging them at the airborne Papyri - causing the four of them to scatter and break ranks “Fuck. This just got harder. Stay sharp, Ven.” He muttered quietly, shaking them out of their shock.
Killer cackled wildly, brandishing his knives and charging the nearest Sans, summoning a field of bones and launching them - white and blue - at the Sanses.
Dust was right behind Killer, blasters whining and shooting out towards the trio of Sanses in the same moment, a feral glee in his emotional aura - even as one of the other Sanses countered his blaster attack with blasters of their own.
Hatchet was using bones and blasters to try to help keep the Papyri from regrouping, a concentrated frown on his face as he started to attack.
Venus noticed that both Cross and Hatchet seemed to be having a bit of difficulty actually hitting the Papyri - perhaps because they so closely resembled their beloved siblings (dead brother, in the case of poor Cross, who had lost so much to Ink’s machinations. Not that Papa knew that). They flew towards the Papyri, asking “ why do you come to defend the world that is not your own? To do so risks interference from people who are much more powerful than you can fathom. Surrender and leave this place and perhaps nightmare will spare your world.” they imbued their words with the power of their magic, causing the swapfell and fellswap Papyri to stumble for a moment and stop.
The Horrorfell Papyrus on the other hand, snarled lowly and hissed “Let your lord and master come to my world. It’s not as if he can make things worse than they already are.”
“You have no idea what nightmare is capable of. Not truly.” Venus responded coolly. Their eye lights shine brightly with cyan magic as they summon a bow (it looks strikingly similar to Dream’s, except for the fact that the wood is of a darker color and the runes that have been carved on it are of a cyan hue - specifically a shade strikingly similar to Nightmare’s own magic). They create a magical arrow and began shooting at the Papyri, moving out of the way of the bones that were hurled in their direction - no matter if they were thrown at them from the Papyri in front of them, or the Sanses behind them. The arrows strike true, and hit the Horrorfell Papyrus directly through the soul “Have a taste of what Negativity is truly like.” They hiss as the Papyrus howls in agony, collapsing in on himself and breaking down into sobbing hysterics.
Monsters struck by their arrows would relive some of their worst memories - and Venus kept up a volley of arrow at the remaining Papyri - the three of them cursing and desperately tumbling and stumbling out of the way of their arrows, so frantic and afraid of their magic that they were caught by Cross’s and Hatchet’s Blasters, screams of pain leaving them briefly as they crumbled into dust.
“NO! PAPYRUS!” Their Sanses screamed in unison, fury and heartbreak in their emotional auras. They attacked with a renewed vigor.
Venus swerved to avoid the blasters and bones in the air - nearly getting hit with a blue bone attack which would have grounded them. The Sanses’ teleportation abilities were incredibly annoying to deal with - as they were much more adept at avoiding their arrows.
However, the defensive Sanses were slowly losing ground and stamina - a fact that they seemed to be grimly aware of. The Horrorfell Sans called out on his turn, panting heavily “Why don’t… We just… Take a little break, eh? That way we can all…Rest up and… Continue fighting…”
“Surrender or die.” Killer giggled, the wide smirk on his face broadening still further, twirling his knives in his hands “I can do this for days without needing a break.”
Venus took aim at the exhausted and trembling Sans, certain that they could hit him this time, when a sudden and intense pain ripped through their body, shattering their concentration as they fell to the ground, screaming in agony… Their wings were caught on something, and they realized that two very long bones had pierced through them, causing the emotive spirit to bleed magic “A-Ahhh!” The attack had come from behind, but who…? “A-Aaaah!” Their magic pulsed around them at the intensity of the pain they were in.
The Horrorfell Papyrus hissed “I… Will not… Let you kill… My brother! Pretty little birdie… You will make a tasty stew for us… Yes… Yes you will.” He staggered towards them “I wonder… What shape is your soul, little bird? So… So strange you are…”
Cross and Hatchet cursed, teleporting between Venus and the Papyrus, a second too slow as the Horrorfell native managed to wrap his magic around their soul, forcing their body to jerk upwards, further damaging their wings, as their black-apple soul became clearly visible. “No, no no no no!” Cross swore, launching dozens of daggers and bones at the Papyrus “Let them go, you twisted fucker!”
“What… The fuck… Are you?” The defending Sanses swore, having never seen a being with such a soul before. One of them launched a bone straight for Venus’ soul.
Their eye lights shrunk to pinpricks and they thrashed uselessly in the magical grip of the Papyrus, unable to work up the concentration to summon their bow again to try to shoot away the attack. A terrified scream of “D-Dad, H-Help! Please!” was wrenched from their throat, their eye lights going out, praying to anything that might listen that they survived a direct attack to their soul.
But the blow never came. Venus tentatively summoned their eye lights, realizing that the negativity in the area had risen dramatically. Their dad was now holding them protectively in a couple of his tentacles, the rest lashing out at the Papyrus who was holding their soul hostage, snapping the skeleton in half and shredding his soul so that he no longer had a hold on Venus’ soul. The other had also blocked the attack to their soul by the Sans.
NIghtmare was livid “You dare harm my precious child… I will make your lives a miserable, living hell and you will beg for death long before I grant you that mercy.” The other’s tentacles lashed out and slammed into the four Sanses, curling around them tightly enough to cause them pain and to threaten to chip away the few HP that each of them had “I will find your pathetic worlds, and I will -”
Venus coughed a little, their wings hurting very badly, and they could feel themselves hemorrhaging the magical blood that flowed through them “Dad… I need… I need help… Ngh…” They were trembling and trying so desperately not to cry in the pain, and in relief that their dad had come to save them. Of course he did.
That snapped Nightmare out of his pitch black fury, worry and fear running through him as he Checked them, and he cursed lowly “Eat as much as you can, but I will need to find a healer for your wings… Stay awake at all costs, do you understand me, Venus?”
“Y-Yes dad… Ngh.. The darkness is so nice though… “ Venus mumbled. They knew that they wouldn’t be in any pain if they fell asleep - but the fear and worry in their dad’s face kept them awake. “I hurt so much, dada…” They hadn’t called him that since they were really little, but somehow, they weren’t embarrased.
It was apparently the wrong thing to say, as their dad was even more terrified and upset than before. The mortals in Nightmare’s grasp dusted and he very gently set them in Cross’s protective grip “Feed them as much food as is in the castle. I will procure a healer who can fix the damage in full.” The lord of darkness opened a portal that led directly home.
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.” Cross whispered, guilt and pain in his aura and voice as he teleported through the portal, grateful that Nightmare had opened it directly into the kitchen. Dust, Killer and Hatchet were directly behind him, shoving the food that they had in their inventories down Venus’s throat “I should have made sure that that HF Papyrus was actually dead… I didn’t see the fucker in the snow…”
“I didn’t realize he wasn’t fully dead, either, Cross.” Hatchet rumbled as he rushed over to the fridge, pulling out everything that was pre-made, shoving them into Dust and Killer’s impatient hands as they kept a steady stream of food coming to their badly injured kid. They loved Venus fiercely, and to have seen them strung up by their wings like that….
Those idiots’ deaths had been far too quick. But Venus’ life was more important than revenge.
“Let’s move Ven to their room. We’re out of food and they’ve stopped losing HP… Stars fuckin’ damn I wish that one of us had the ability to heal.” Killer cursed softly. The others nodded and they teleported Venus to their room, carefully laying them down so that none of their weight would be on their damaged wings.
~
There was only one being with the capability to heal who Nightmare would trust near one of his injured children, and he desperately needed to find the other before it was too late. Using their soul-bond, he tracked the other to an Outerswap. It was an irritatingly positive place, but his mate’s presence shone like a being amongst the never ending sea of mortal idiots. He instantly teleported over to where Dream was, using his magic to temporarily paralyze everyone else in the room in Fear and Despair that he had found them (some of Dream’s mortal allies were in the room - as was the soulless fuckface). “Come with me, now.” He pleaded, trembling as he reached out for Dream.
His mate took a couple of steps back, his eye lights wide with suspicion and surprise - but the other hadn’t instantly summoned his bow. A worried frown appeared on his face “Nightmare, wh-what-”
Right. Dream didn’t know yet “Venus is injured. Please. They… They were hemorrhaging so much magic and I… I can’t heal them…”
All suspicion and wariness vanished within his mate’s emotional aura “Where are they?” He snapped, teleporting over to the negative guardian and sending a pulse of love-affection-worry through the hand that had the other had touched him with.
“Home. I-I sent them home. They wanted to fight. Begged me too. I-I shouldn’t have let them, b-but…” Nightmare stuttered, feeling so weak and useless. An awful failure. How could he have given in.
“Shh… Our eldest is incredibly stubborn. Sat is at PP US 99814. I’ll go home to heal Ven.” Dream soothed, cutting him off before he could potentially self-destruct. With that the other opened a portal home and teleported through it. It closed before any of the mortals could think of unfreezing.
Nightmare was long gone before any of the mortals (or the soulless asshole) could move under their own power again. The lord of Negativity found his son and scooped him up, pulling him in close, murmuring that the other was “Safe now, my little starlight… It’s time to come home now…”
“I… D-Dad… H-how did you find me?” Saturn stuttered, his eye lights terrified and confused pinpricks.
“Your papa told me where to find you… We… W-We have to go home now. All of us. Venus is badly hurt.” Nightmare explained quietly, absently noted that he was still partially covered in the dust of the Sanses he had killed earlier, which would likely further distress his rather shy and sensitive younger child.
“V-Venus is… Is h-hurt? P-please take me h-home dad. I-I want to see them!” Saturn begged, tears streaming down his face as he hugged his dad back tightly, terrified and confused, though for different reasons now.
~
Dream was a barely-visible streak of gold and blue as he ran through the castle, teleporting directly to where he could sense the being of negativity as soon as his senses worked. He instantly summoned a bubble shield, forcing the mortals who had surrounded his precious older child away from them as he started to heal them, his hands a vibrant green color. Their voices an indignant, confused chorus that he ignored entire.
When their confused cries registered in his mind, Dream hissed at them “Of course I am helping my older child you blithering idiots. I am justifiably furious at Nightmare for what he’s done, but I’d never sacrifice either of our children in our fighting, and I know that he wouldn’t either. Why do you think he came to get me?”
“IF that’s true, then where the fuck is Nightmare?!” The monochromatic mortal growled, their heterochromatic eye lights flashing impudently at him.
“He went to get Saturn, our younger child. Sat will want to stay with their sibling as they recover from the mana loss.” Dream snapped. It was perfectly obvious to him “They’re coming this way, if you don’t believe me. They’re back in this timeline. Now shut up and stop trying to break through my shield so that I can focus on healing Venus.” It was so nice for them all to go blissfully silent. Venus had lost so much blood…
But their wounds closed, and Dream gave them as much energy as they were able to handle. He sat down on the bed and held his older child close to his chest, murmuring softly “You’re going to be okay… Papa’s here and Dad’s on his way with Sat…”
“P-Papa?” Venus asked quietly, their eye lights fuzzy “I… I hear your voice… H-how did you? How did you know I was hurt?”
“Your dad came and got me, sweetie. As soon as I heard you were hurt I came to help you. I’ll always come to help you, my little dove. No matter what you become. Your papa loves you so, so much.” Dream soothed, rocking Venus back and forth gently.
Venus cried quietly and clung as tightly as they could to their papa. Dad and Sat appeared seconds later. Saturn crawled onto the bed after he was put down by Dad, snuggling into Venus’s lap and crying (he was always felt so deeply, and was easily distressed when they got hurt). Dad’s tentacles wrapped around the three of them, and he held them all close and tightly. “Papa… Papa can I sleep now? I’m so tired…”
“I… Yes. You won’t… You’ll still be here when you wake up, now. You’ll need to eat a lot of food, okay?” Papa responded, his voice quivering a little, but full of love and care.
Venus nodded, mumbling an agreement as they drifted off to sleep.

Okay so, hear me out. I am HOPEFULLY back to stay, PERMANENTLY. No more disappearing for me. I have so many asks that have been sitting for way too long in my ask box, and I feel really bad for making everyone wait so long.
HOWEVER.
This initial coming back post is not a Classpect post, but actually just a normal ass Homestuck themed one. Specifically, I was bored, and I decided to try to rank the members of the Felt in order of who the strongest is out of them, in my opinion.
I honestly rather enjoy the Felt, so I hope this is interesting to SOMEBODY out there. Anyways, this list was made in a rather short amount of time with probably not as much thought going into it than it should have, but whatever, I gotta come back with something!
So without further ado, here’s my list along with some basic explanations for why I have someone above or below someone else. I’m also putting it under a read more for how long it might be, just look how long this intro is even taking!
So yeah, happy to be back, hope this interests at least one of you, and you can expect Classpect to return in at least another day!
Okay, so, to start us off, some rules about this. I am not including Snowman, Doc Scratch or LE himself in this list. I am merely talking about the other 14 main, fuzzy ass members of this gang. But with that cleared up, onto the list!
Starting off at the bottom of this list I have put Doze. Poor Doze. His power is to slow down time but only for himself. Yeah, not that great on paper unlike his odd numbered counterpart. This ability can be helpful for him taking damage since it takes a while for him to even feel the pain, but that doesn’t stop it from being a thing either. Like, yeah, he probably won’t FEEL being decapitated, but then he’s already dead by that point. Doze’s double barrel shotgun could be capable of doing some good damage, but unfortunately, he’s way too easy to see coming to avoid him, and if you do give him the chance to attack you, you really have no one to blame but yourself. And I doubt his 2x4 would be of much use either.
Moving on from Doze, I have decided to put Die here on the list. Now, why is that? Well, for starters, the dude is kind of a coward. He doesn’t really take too well to conflict, more likely to submit or flee away to an alternate timeline where whatever member of the Felt has grieved him is dead. On his own he doesn’t have any powers, seemingly, but his doll is certainly an interesting item. He sticks a pin in, and he is teleported to a timeline where that person has died, with some seeming variance on how soon the death had happened. Though in the comic it does seem to steer more towards a recent death. As well, if that pin is removed, you then go to a timeline where that person is still alive. Now that’s all well and cool, but this ability doesn’t really have any combat prowess. Hell, it’s what gets him killed in the Intermission, jumping to a timeline where Itchy had just died and he gets beat to death by Spades. While his doll COULD have the potential to aid him in a fight, in someones hands like Die, or nearly any member of the Felt, it doesn’t do him any real favors unless you were smart about it. And though his melee weapon may not be the best, he still has his gun which I think is enough to put him above Doze with a well aimed bullet.
Next I decided to go with Eggs and Biscuits as both the 12th and 11th place here. They’re pretty jokey characters with on a surface level useful time travel ability, if it weren’t for the fact they’re probably as slow as Doze is upstairs. They’re very haphazard use of time travel to make a large group of the duo appear and mob on an enemy is seemingly useful. However, it’s only really been shown to be an annoyance more than anything, even with them flailing their weapons about. Despite all this, I think they can make for a good disrupter. Hearts Boxcars was basically just trapped in the middle of their thing until he was later rescued. Hell, they were technically responsible for Jake dying in Collide with him being tossed around and discombobulated enough for Crowbar to pump him full of lead. They may not be good for much outside of those examples (and I doubt they happened to put Jake in that position on purpose) they can still do well enough together.
Next I have Stitch, the sort of healer of the group. Yeah, think about it, he kind of heals the others through the use of his effigies, allowing him to repair battle damage if he is able to before the person dies. After being forced to make one for Spades he was able to sew up his eye after Snowman stuck her cigarette holder in it. While a pretty useful ability, keep in mind, he’s still just a tailor. A tailor with a tommygun! Despite the fact that the Felt weren’t technically “born” until Caliborn claimed them, I just get a sort of old man vibe looking at his face. Like, I feel like Stitch would feel too old for this shit to keep up with all these shenanigans on top of the Midnight Crew. As such, I also see him as one of the few Felt members with an actual brain in his head. However, despite all that, he was rather handedly beaten by the Midnight Crew. Also, him swinging around a blank effigy as a melee weapon doesn’t strike me a particularly strong item, but he was able to knock around some of his Felt brothers, likely thanks to their fabric bodies. So yeah, that’s why I think he can be placed here.
Next on the list is Trace. Now, Trace’s ability to see where someone has been can be useful for fucking with the Crew in the Intermission, but not for much else outside of tracking someone. He honestly seems like just a real average kind of member of this rabble, there’s not a whole lot outside of his ability to set him apart from the rest, outside of Fin which we’ll get to very shortly. His triple barrel shotgun is sure to be an effective weapon, even when he turns that bitch around and thwacks a motherfucker across the head with it. Oh, and I guess Trace can fuck with people from the past by interacting with their trail, but whatever.
...Well, that was short! Yeah, sorry, but I don’t have a ton to say about Trace, much like this next guy, his counterpart, Fin. I decided to put Fin about Trace for a few reasons. One, his ability to see where someone is going to be, and even when their timeline ends CAN be of actual use in a battle if smartly used. You could seemingly use it to predict their movements and dodge their strikes. Fin is also able to be interacted with in a similar way. Like how Diamonds Droog was able to shoot him cuz Fin is kind of an idiot and leaves hints to where his location is, so, Droog then shot him up from the future Fin was viewing from that room. Man was that a mouthful. Speaking of mouths, Fin has sharp shark teeth cuz lol his name is Fin like a shark. He’s apparently not above biting someone with them as well, and they are sharp. This may also just be me, but the dude survived for a longer while than he probably should have with how much he got shot and was bleeding out EVERYWHERE before finally collapsing. It’s possible Trace is the same, but since he died instantly from a bomb, we can’t really be sure. Armed with his revolver and fish bat, Fin is ready to take on the competition! So long as it isn’t against anyone above him, which speaking of, moving on.
Next is Matchsticks. God damn is there not much to him. You know, I think I’d go on to say he and Quarters get the least really seen or told about them and what they may be like. And his power isn’t much better or obvious. Alright, get this, the guy can travel through time using FIRE as a portal, which he then puts out with his extinguisher so more of him don’t start popping up like Eggs and Biscuits. Yeah, real useful that one is. I suppose if a fight breaks out and things catch on fire though he can be of use using a similar strategy like Eggs and Biscuits, but that’s also kind of situational. Kinda. But he seems like a tough guy who can take a hit, and that extinguisher is sure to leave a mark. Also his tiny baby gun is kind of hilarious. Oh, and it probably hurts to be shot by it, so don’t. If I were to seriously put time into thinking about it, Fin MAY be better than Matchsticks, but I made this post, and damnit, I’m gonna sleep in it! As soon as I find a way to do so...
Next up is the not-so-fun-sized Sawsbuck. You may be confused why he’s so far up, but thinking about it, he’s KIND of the teams tank. His ability even ties into him taking damage causing him and whoever inflicted it to jump around the timeline all the way until he finally dies. He and his portly figure are good for absorbing damage as we saw in both the Intermission and Collide. The guy can take stabbings, lacerations, multiple bullet wounds, and keep on trucking for a bit. He and is trusty riding crop are sure to leave a sting, as well as almost as many cheeks red as Snowman’s whip. Plus his Mossburg 590 is sure to leave a mark. A few, actually. At which point you’ll probably bleed out if didn’t kill you already with a blast to the chest.
I think it’s at this point we actually start getting to heavy hitters. Yeah, at the 5th ranking spot, it’s about time, right? So who scurried their way up the list to start us off? Why, none other than Itchy, of course! Yeah, seems kinda sad Doze is placed last, but Itchy gets to be this much higher than him. Such is fate. Life isn’t fair with the powers you’re given. Speaking of, Itchy is fast. He’s fast as fuck, boy. Specifically, he’s slowing down time relative to himself to move the way he does. The classic hit and runner. While the ability gives him great mobility and utility in combat, it’s also been shown that Itchy’s reaction speed sometimes isn’t good enough to keep up. Hence why he was rather easily dealt with by Spades just holding his leg out for Itchy to trip over. This does come in handy in places like in Collide where, despite having a single shot pistol, he seemingly rapid fires it, probably thanks to his speed in being able to reload in the blink of an eye. That on top of his baseball bat, and he’s a regular Scout, minus the shotguns. But he’s below the people coming up just because I can see them pulling something trip him up like Spades did all the same. Not to mention his whole deal is about not getting hit PERIOD. He seems to go down rather easily from most standard attacks, but with speed and the power backing it up, he’s not to be counted out of a fight.
Next is a kind of weird or maybe controversial choice with Quarters. Why do I put him up here? Well, kind of due to his size and seeming strength that, while it may not compare to Cans, he’s still a big dude. I won’t get into what his deal is, since he doesn’t have a power, but an item like Die, and because it’s rather complicated to write out here. Have you SEEN how long this post is getting? Ain’t nobody got time for me to rabble on even more than I do. So, Quarters is a tough guy. So what? Well, that’s where his mini gun comes into play. It’s a damn powerful weapon as we saw him absolutely demolish Spades with in an alternate timeline. He also interestingly wields a monkey wrench, which we see him try to use against Jane and Jake as they fought him together. Which I could believe Jake would need a little bit of help fighting him, hence Jane coming in with the support. There’s not much else to say besides he just seems like a really strong member of their gang!
Okay, no more messing around now. The top 3, and this was a very hard thing to decide on, even in my quick list here. I am once again putting 2 members on the same spot, though one of them could easily be number 1 if I thought about it enough, but this is how it stands right now. Coming in at 3rd and 2nd I have Crowbar and Cans. Yeah yeah, number 1 is kind of odd, but we’ll get there. Let’s talk these monsters. Crowbar is seemingly the leader of the Felt outside of Doc Scratch and possibly Snowman, though she may just be doing her own thing away from the Felt most times, and that's justly deserved. He’s actually smart, and his weapon is damn important for the later end of the story. His crowbar is not only powerful, but its juju breaking abilities can well make him shut off a few of the other members with a single swing. We see Caliborn and Jack English make the most use of this weapon in a combat sense, and it does them both nicely. Especially for Caliborn who manages to beat his Denizen to death with that, and maybe his gun since we see it tossed off to the side. It’s even able to stand up to LE’s golden cuestaff when wielded by Jack English. His gun of choice is also a sub machine gun, which he was shown using to shoot up Jake. Moving on to Cans, he’s obviously the main muscle of the group. His lone weapons are his gorilla sized arms and fists, with his power being able to knock someone or even a group of people through time. He has great strength and endurance, allowing him to shrug off most blows and keep on coming back swinging. He did seem to get rather tripped up from Dad’s cake business, though, allowing Dad to land some more punches of maximum mangrit! Not only can his fists send someone through time, he can even go a bit meta and punch someone between panels to get around, even fighting by using the panels as a platform. And he can do this seemingly without causing any passage of time between when he punched them and when they arrive at their location. Now, all that being said, the person I’d put on top depends on how effective Crowbar’s weapons would be on Cans, and if he can come up with a plan to stop him from knocking him around and beating him senseless. Is Crowbar intelligent enough to come up with that sort of plan? Kinda like being the Batman of the group, coming up with ideas to counter and take down any of the Justice League if they turn rogue. Heh, Rogue. Homestuck reference. I would personally say he probably could play Cans, but I think can just as easily see Cans making up the damage being dealt to him in potentially smaller amounts. I think this is gonna stay as a toss up for the time being.
And with that, here we are. The number 1 placement. You know who it is. That lucky and flirty little bastard, Clover. Now, I know this may sound odd, and I am with you on that, saying Clover is the strongest is kind of an odd statement. But hear me out. His unbelievable luck makes him nigh impervious to damage, let alone the threat of death. Now, this ability has been worked around before. Like when Jack opened the vault in the manor, which seemingly killed every member of the Felt and the Midnight Crew other than Spades and Snowman. And I would chock that up to the huge amount of energy given off by the safe in tandem with the crowbars juju breaking ability allowing Clover top actually be caught in whatever goes down. We then again later see Karkat is able to at least catch and hog tie Clover, possibly thanks to his curse given to him by the ATH~ code he ran back in Hivebent. So unless you use VERY SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES, the best you can do is idly drub the guy, like Droog did with a newspaper in the Intermission. And even though he may not be able to to dish out the most damage, he can still swing his 4x2, a cute parallel to Doze’s 2x4, and fire his glock to attack people. So, with a guy you can’t even really damage unless through very particular means, on top of being able to seemingly take down every other member of the Felt with enough time and bullets, I think it’s safe to say Clover’s OP ability earns himself the thrown at the top of this ladder. Don’t ask me who put that chair up there. Seems rather dangerous if you ask me.
WHEW! That was a fucking mouthful that took forever to write up. I may revisit this at some point when I feel like going seriously into the research to maybe make better placement decisions. Hell, feel free to argue for or against this list all you want! I’d love to hear if you had a differing opinion, or had anything that would support my thoughts that I maybe just forgot about. Anyways, have a great day everyone, and once again, it feels good to be back!

[Trinity] Direction
Still bunkered down in the Red Rocket for now. I’ve elected to give everyone some downtime because we’ve been pushing pretty hard of late, despite our stops. We’re going to spend a few days in this region, then trek back to the greater Boston area. We need to swing by our base in Jamaica Plains to manufacture some equipment, then we’re taking back The Castle.
When daytime came in Diamond City, I still felt like I was being watched. I still do. The only other person in the group who seems to feel this way is Dogmeat, who is always a little on edge around everyone but me right now. Thankfully he doesn’t seem to be the type to bite (unless you’re shooting at him). We left Publick Occurrences and I had a meeting with the Mayor’s Secretary, purchased myself a home within Diamond City. I spent the rest of the day getting that furnished up to suit the needs of our team (weapon and armor fabrication and upgrades, ammo manufacturing, etc), as well as decorating it some to make it feel at least a little bit homely.
When I wrapped up in our new base, Nick put his hand on my shoulder, and stated he would like to take me to a place called Good Neighbor. He knows someone there who could help me look through Kellogg’s memories. I felt a lump form in my throat, but agreed, and we headed out. Goodneighbor isn’t that far from Diamond City, but certainly feels like a great distance when you account for the inevitable gun fights in between. The raiders, super mutants and triggermen seem endless in the Boston area. I suppose its an area rich in resources, relative to the rest of the Commonwealth, but still.
Goodneighbor was different from Diamond City. Diamond City is very much a city of established rules, where people just want to survive. Goodneighbor seems to be very dog-eat-dog. As I step into the gate, I get accosted by some random thug asking for ‘insurance money’. I threaten him in return, and he backs down, but then the Mayor of Goodneighbor comes out and stabs him! He introduces himself as John Hancock, and “apologizes“ for the conduct of the thug. I recognize a veiled threat when I see one, so I thank him and let him know I’m not going to be any trouble. He sneers at me (I think? He’s a ghoul, that might just be his mouth), and I’m left to my own devices.
Nick started making his way to wherever it is we’re going, and I let him know I’ll meet him there. This is going to be pretty big for me, and I want a drink. He lets me know the joint is called The Memory Den, and he’ll meet me there.
I stepped into a bar called The Third Rail, which was a surprisingly nice place, all things considered. It even had live music, a singer named Magnolia. I get myself, Heather, Piper, and Preston drinks, and we sit down. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see two Gunners harassing someone in a side room. They don’t look aggressive, but I’ve learned not to trust the group. I stand up, letting my little group know I’ll be right back. As I stride towards the back room, I get stopped by a ghoul in standard merc gear – leathers, combat armor. He introduces himself as Edward Deegan, and that his employer has heard about me, and is interested in acquiring my services for a difficult job. I tell him I’ll think about it. Edward tells me to head to the Cabot House and ask for Jack. I’m a little stunned as he walks past me. The Cabot House? The Cabots were a family from my time, a very wealth family too. I remember the name Jack Cabot too. I clear my head, and keep walking towards the back room. No way it’s the same Jack Cabot, likely a descendant.
Preston has joined me at this point, having seen me get stopped by Edward. He notices what is going on in the back room, and nods to me. We walk into the back room, and can now overhear the conversation. The man getting harassed is called MacCready, apparently an ex-Gunner now trying to work as a merc in Gunner turf, thus these two toughs here to warn him. They finish their piece, and walk past us, the quieter one slamming his shoulder into mine. When I don’t give as easily as he hoped, he calls me a “fucking bitch” and reaches for his gun. The wiser of the two makes him stay his hand, and they leave without any blood being spilled. MacCready was laughing at them as they go.
“The fuck do you want.” is the greeting he gave me. I inquired about the two thugs and he told me to stop poking into other people’s business. As I turned to leave he asked if I needed to hire any protection, he was looking for work after all. I let him know that I’m not looking for protection, but I am looking for more traveling companions, as I intend to take on the Institute. His eyes went wide and I could see the hesitation on his face. He gives me his price. I talk him down, he agrees. We head back to the table and I buy him a drink, introducing him to Heather and Piper.
As we’re leaving, we overhear conversation at a nearby table, something about someone named Cait and a place called The Combat Zone. Piper and Heather seemed to react somewhat somberly to the news. When asked, they explained who Cait was, and that the Combat Zone is a known raider spot. I made a mental note to stop there.
Heading to the Memory Den, I was greeted by an older woman dressed very extravagantly. She directed me to the stairs in the back of the room, indicating “the doctor and Nick are waiting for you already.”
Downstairs, Nick introduced me to Doctor Amari, a scientist specializing in the human brain. She was the one who designed the memory pods in use here. After some talk, it was determined that we could hook up the augmented piece of Kellogg’s brain I recovered from his person to Nick, as it had synth connectors attached to it. In combination with this, I could hop into a memory pod and witness the memories stored with in, with Nick being the engine, as it were.
Reliving Kellogg’s memories was hard. He’d clearly had a hard life, and had lost everything he cared about, like I did. The only difference is Kellogg knowingly brought it upon himself, my life was ripped away from me at no fault of my own, short of existing. I had to re-live Kellogg killing Nate, this time from the perspective of Kellogg. I had to see my baby taken away again. I had to see Shaun, older, taken away by something called a Courser.
The group discussed something about teleportation, and a man named Virgil. I wasn’t really paying attention. Piper looked at me sadly, handing me some tissues. I was crying. She took me upstairs to sit with Nick while the rest of the group discussed the plan. I felt week, drained. Piper asked Nick how he was doing, as he went through the same thing I did. Kellogg responded. I drew my magnum and leveled it as his head, yelling that I put him down once, and I will happily do it again. Nick threw his hands up and shouted for me to stand down, and what the hell was I doing. Piper forced my arms down, and looked at Nick concerned. Apparently some echoes of Kellogg can remain for a little while, and we just saw one. Nick apparently had no idea when it happened. I sank into the chair next to him, exhausted.
Piper let me know that everyone got to watch what I was witnessing, so I didn’t need to talk about what I saw. She told me she was sorry for me, and hugged me. She told me that when I was ready to talk, she would be there as a friend. Nick offered the same.
Eventually we headed back downstairs to get caught up on the plan. Virgil was in a place called The Glowing Sea. Apparently its where a bomb fell, and was massively irradiated. So I needed to find/make some Radiation Protection suits.
We left Goodneighbor not long after. I honestly didn’t feel like talking to much, I felt like an old wound had just been reopened. I needed to take my mind off of what I’d just witnessed. We headed to the Combat Zone, and I proceeded to clear it out. Apparently Cait was a cage fighter here, serving as entertainment. Tommy Lonegan, her handler, opted to let me buy out her contract, as I had just killed all of his clientele. I did so. Cait seemed to know her way around a fight, and after I explained our goal, seemed to be on board.
New members in tow, we headed out for Oberland. Nick had been complaining about his equipment for a while, so I said we’d swing by Red Rocket after Oberland to grab his jacket, something he greatly appreciated. Folks at Oberland agreed to join us with us now that we’ve taken care of their problem. Preston raised the possibility of taking back The Castle at this point, as the Minutemen had enough members, between our personal work and the work of other contingents, that we could mount an effective effort to take back the Castle and man it properly. Given that I didn’t feel quite ready to head to the Glowing Sea just yet, I made that our next priority goal.
That’s how we ended up here in Red Rocket. Preston has headed up to Sanctuary to check in on folks there, as did Heather, who wants to see if she could sell any of her alternative medicines. I asked Preston to get strong setup as a member of the Minutemen, operating his own unit, either on his own or with others beneath him. He can’t really travel with me, given my propensity to break into locks and terminals and his disagreement with that, but I can still definitely use his talents if he’s lending them. In a couple of days we’ll head back to Boston. I have a feeling that the Castle is going to be a big step for us.

And just like that, she was down
Lena "Tracer" Oxton gave up on Widowmaker, but somewhere underneath it all knew that wasn't the right thing to do - so much so that she and her wife Emily "Kestrel" Oxton (from it is not easy to explain, she said) punched a hole across spacetime to find a universe where things had, in the end, worked out - coming across Lena "Venom" Oxton and Amélie "Widowmaker" Lacrox of Talon, from on overcoming the fear of spiders.
But really, all you need to know is that Lena and Emily are both with Overwatch, and are taking one more shot at pulling Widowmaker out of Talon's clutches. And this is probably the most current-canon Widowmaker I've written.
This is the third time I've visited this Lena and this Emily so apparently it has to be a series now. Thanks, brain. [AO3 link]
And just like that, she was down.
Widowmaker fell, panting, crouched, trapped between air conditioners and rooftop access, Kestrel overhead, Tracer in front, rifle damaged but regenerating, chain broken but rebuilding, and entirely out of venom mines.
Nowhere to go. 45 seconds, she thought, glancing up, glancing ahead. 45 seconds to replenished ammo, she thought, watching Tracer, with her gold eyes burning. 45 seconds. They can't take me in, not in 45 seconds.
"Hey, love," said the smaller Overwatch agent in front of her, the annoying one, the one who kept getting under her skin, no matter what she did, no matter how infuriating she became. "Truce?"
...what? thought the spider, and she blinked.
Tracer lowered her pistols, well aware that the Talon assassin could still punch like a prizefighter. "Truce? Three minutes. I know you've got another 40 seconds or so 'till you have rounds again, I'm askin' for three minutes' time. Truce?"
Widow glanced up towards the flying agent, who saw her look, and in response, nodded back down to the assassin. "Truce," Kestrel said. "Three minutes."
I... what? Truce? What? They have me, and... what have I got to lose? the assassin decided quickly, not lowering her weapon. "Why? So you can take me in to be undone, cherie? I think not."
She spoke! thought Tracer, her already-rapid heart jumping just a little bit more. She spoke. "No! Not that, love," she exclaimed. "It's so I can apologise. Apologise proper, and all that. I'm sorry. I just want to say why."
Widowmaker... hesitated. Surprised, not in the combat way, but in the cognitive dissonance way, and she shook her head and failed to clear it, stuck on the idea of being apologised to, and overrode her reaction, sure she must've heard wrong, and tried again. "Three minutes, so your friends can close in, and..."
"I promise, no, that's not what we're doin'." Tracer pulled her earbud and thumbed her comm. "McCree, Tracer here. No sign of Widowmaker. Sweeping north for further recon." She received a brief "I hear ya" from McCree, and Widowmaker could hear it too, just, from the tiny exposed speaker.
Thirty seconds to bullets. Thirty seconds to possible escape. Or, three minutes to... what? She narrowed her eyes, but lowered her weapon. "Truce." she said. "Three minutes."
"I'm sorry," said Tracer, again. "I've been doin' everything wrong for three years and I am so sorry."
Widowmaker felt confusion, and again, not the uncertainty of battle, but an unfamiliar emotional reaction she did not want to admit she felt. "Pour quoi? We fight, it is what we are for. And you have hardly ever managed to hurt me."
"I think I have, though," replied the teleporter, earnestness clear in her voice. "Emotionally. Not on purpose, I swear. I talked to some..." - she nodded her head back and forth - "...can't say friends, can't say enemies, it's complicated, they're kind of Talon, they're kind of not... 'bout a month ago, and they set me straight about you. And about what I've been doin' wrong."
Mystifying, thought the assassin, but she mimed a bemused look. "Are you talking about the hacker? Are you and the Mexican woman talking about me? My controllers will be interested to know that."
"No," the Englishwoman shook her head. "Not Sombra. It's... look, it's nobody in your Talon. It's complicated and three minutes ain't long enough. But that's not important! What's important is I got shook up, but good. An' I realised I've been tryin' to get to Amélie, and trying to tell her we'd get her back, and I've been an bloomin' idiot because I've not been tryin' to talk to you."
Widowmaker snorted - this is nonsense, she thought, but something scratched at her, something in her head saying this is important - and flipped her rifle onto her shoulder. "I seem to remember a large number of rather one-sided conversations, myself. Even more, including the ones spoken only with bullets."
"Not what I mean. I've been..." she grimaced.C'mon, Lena, she thought, you've been practicing this, don't let's throw a spanner in these works. "You're real. I finally get it. You're a person, not some ... construct. And I've been promising we'd change you into somebody else, just like Talon did to Amélie, and that's wrong, and I'm sorry, and it's gonna stop, starting now."
Widowmaker tilted her head, dismayed, as she picked through what she was hearing. Is... that... why...? she thought, but did not know what to say.
"I've seen you, you talk about how emotions are my weakness, and you say you don't have any, but you do, it's obvious, even if you don't like it, and I've been takin' that as Amélie peekin' out, but it's not, it's you, it's just you, and I'm sorry for... for everything."
"What..." the assassin managed, feeling strangely light, strangely separate from her place on the rooftop, surrounded by her enemies. "...what is the point of this?"
"She'd given up on you," came Kestrel's voice, from above. Two minutes, she thought. "But I hadn't."
"...you?" the assassin looked up. "I do not even know you. You are not a priority target."
"I know," said the flying agent. "But my wife's into you, if it isn't obvious, and - cards on the table - I kinda am too. Giving up made her all depressed, so... here we are."
"Kestrel!" shouted Tracer. "C'mon, I'm not on the pull, that's not why..."
"It is so," retorted Kestrel, "underneath everything."
"...it is so, isn't it?" The Widowmaker smirked, grasping at a little more control of a decidedly out of control situation. "You are trying to, you say, chat me up? Pathetic. We are enemies, and that is all, and you are a fool to think otherwise."
"Oh no," said the teleporter, "Don't pretend this don't go both ways."
"It does not," sneered the assassin. "I am not burdened with such trivialities."
"Oh yeah?" asked Tracer.
"Yes," said Widowmaker.
"If that's true - you've had bullets again for 45 seconds. I don't even got my pistols out, and here I am, all not shot up. Why not?"
What?! thought the assassin, knowing her opponent was right. She hadn't even lost track of time, she just hadn't acted, and she could've. She should've. She grasped for a reason, and settled on, "...we have a truce."
"Okay, maybe. This time. But why ain't I dead? You fought anybody else who lived this long?"
"No," admitted Talon's most effective killer. "But it is not for lack of trying."
"Don't underestimate yourself, love. You've had your chances, I'm number one on Talon's hit list, and you ain't even been takin' the shots, even though I've been promising to take your mind apart and not even knowin' I was doin' it. It's more than I deserve. Thanks, for that."
Widowmaker raised her rifle, Tracer in her sight. "Should I fix it, then? Right now?"
Kestrel froze, gravity blade ready. But Tracer did not raise her pistols, or grin, or dodge, or dance. She held her ground, being very still. "Y'could, y'know. G'wan. I'm right here."
Widowmaker stood, looking through the site, the shot unmissable, time counting away. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. And, again, confusedly, she lowered her rifle. She couldn't even say why, other than it did not seem... right, to shoot. "70 seconds," she said, softly, almost distractedly, her focus disturbed, disrupted. What is wrong with me?
"Look," said Tracer, "I'm not gonna try to bring you in, not now, maybe not even later. I'll stop ya if I see ya at work, but... c'mon. Y'gotta admit, Talon's no good. Maybe Talon made you, and maybe I'll even give 'em that, but on the whole, they're no good."
From above, Kestrel quietly noted that Widowmaker did not bother trying to defend her makers, or even dismiss the attack. She'd just accepted it as a given. Halfway there, she thought to herself. C'mon, blue girl, show me. Show me you're real.
"From now on," continued Tracer, "I'm promising: no changin' you. No tryin' to turn you into somebody else, not even somebody you maybe used t'be. But if you want out - if you want out, as you - tell me. We'll find a way. And if Overwatch does catch you, somehow, if we bring you in, I will not let them change you against your will."
The woman built from Amélie Lacroix raised an eyebrow, sceptically. "No one in Overwatch would tolerate my existence. None of you..." - no, she thought, I don't believe that, do I? - "...present... company... perhaps excepted."
"I mean it, love," Lena said, as plainly and honestly as she knew how. "I swear. Even if I have to break you out of a Watchpoint myself, they won't change you. It won't happen. I won't let it."
Widowmaker believed her. Something inside her believed Lena's oath, believed every word of it, knew it to be true, and the spider dropped her rifle in shock. "I... I do not believe you," she lied, a hitch in her breath betraying her.
"I think maybe you do," said Kestrel, gently, "even if you don't want to." Oh fuck me, what am I about to say here? she thought, swallowing. "Lena's promise goes for me, too. I'm no Pharah - but I'll provide the air support. We'll get you out." C'mon, c'mon, be real...
Oxton nodded, looking up gratefully at her lover. In for a penny. "I'm not sayin' come with us now, love, I know that's not gonna happen. But if you want out..." started Tracer...
"...we'll get you out. And not to Overwatch," continued Kestrel...
"...unless that's what y'want," finished Tracer.
Widowmaker picked up her rifle. Twenty seconds, she thought, absently.
"Have they ever reconditioned you again, love? After the first time?"
The assassin frowned. "They did... once, after..." She did not finish the sentence.
"Tekhartha?"
"Yes," she nodded. "Because I laughed."
"Did y'like it?" asked the teleporter.
"...no," admitted the assassin, after a pause, resentment in her voice, and above her, Kestrel silently cheered, clenching her firsts, Yes!
"We wouldn't try," repeated Tracer. "I get it now. I swear."
"Never," said the flying agent. "We both swear," she said, in for a pound.
Widowmaker looked down at her Kiss, ready, pulse rounds fully charged and ready to go. Enough chain regeneration to get away, as well - three minutes is a lot of time, if you think about it, isn't it? Talon, signalling, in her headset, trying to raise her, trying to make sure she was alive and, if not well, at least functional. This could all be a new lie, she thought, warring against herself. But... it also might not be.
After Tekhartha, she'd learned now not to tip off her controllers. It wasn't the only thing they'd missed.
"Your three minutes are up," she said. "And I do not trust your masters, either." She threw her rifle onto her back, looked up at Kestrel, over at Tracer, and leapt up into the air, but not far, chain assisted to a nearby perch. "But your offer... a third way, all of us free from Overwatch as well as Talon..." she called, as her chain rewound, and she threw it again. "...I will consider it." And she vanished into the night.
Kestrel flew down to Tracer, eyes wide, after the assassin disappeared into the darkness. "I... I think we might've done it."
Tracer nodded her head, half in shock, but entirely in agreement. "I'm gobsmacked, love - I think we really might've. But... I... it can't be that easy."
"It wouldn't be," her wife agreed. "We made some hard promises. We'd likely have to quit Overwatch ourselves. Become freelancers, maybe."
Tracer shrugged, thinking of the many possibilities - and difficulties - involved. "Winston wouldn't throw us out, love - it's not like any of it's legal anyway. And even if he does, there's good money to be made in adventuring, I should know." She started shaking, as it all sank in. "Gor blimey, Em. What'd we just do?"
"Threw away our careers?" Emily giggled, weakly. "And maybe... just maybe... started saving some lives, too?"
Lena's half-grin popped back onto her face. "One life in particular, y'mean?"
"Yes," her lover confirmed with a grin of her own. "In particular. But also her targets."
"Hoo," breathed the teleporter, shaking tension out of her arms, out of her hands. "It's a big gamble. Long odds. We must be starkers."
"Better odds than we had a month ago."
Tracer snorted. "No question about that."
"None." Her lover put her arms around her, and kissed her nose, gently. "C'mon, sweetie, finish shaking it off. Risk is what we do, isn't it?"
Lena let out a little 'heh' sound, and rested her forehead against Emily's.
"And put your earbud back in," said the ginger. "McCree's getting curious about our sweep."
"Righto." She puffed out a big breath of air. "We've made this bed, might as well lie in it. North it is!" She keyed her comms. "McCree, Tracer here, your signal got week, you say somethin'? ... Yeah, we're still sweeping north. No sign of her yet - I think she's gone home. ... Right. We'll keep looking a bit more, then circle back in a few. Tracer out."
From closer than either of them imagined, the Widowmaker listened intently, laser microphone bouncing off the HVAC's metal shell. The part of her - and it was part of her - that had believed Lena Oxton implicitly sat proud, vindicated, and a little smugly in her mind. And the parts that did not...
...began, most reluctantly...
...to contemplate hope.

BNHA self insert AU [Book 3]
New? Read here! Then here!
Chapter 3: You Want a Sprite Cranberry?
“Deep breath in” hold for 10 seconds “and breathe out” I tell myself in the mirror as I put my school uniform. It’s the first day of school! And I’m super nervous and not that excited. Just so much fear, gas and anxiety in my body that I clenched my booty cheeks the whole car ride there.
“You okay son?” Mom asked me concerned.
“Yeah! I just don’t know what to expect” I admitted “Any advice?”
“Be open to the unknown and be down to throw down!” she said so confidently “I would say to make friends, but it seems like you won’t have that problem.” She sighed “I envy you Iwa, you get to go to the same school as your best friend. I didn’t have all the resources you have now...my sweet little boy is going to be an agent!”
I look out the window to see the massive building that’s UA “I’ll do my best, because I learned from the best!”
“Oh I wouldn’t say that!” Mom scoffed as she pulled up to the drop off zone “Here’s your stop, go get em Iwata.”
I unclenched my butt cheeks “Okay, bye mom!”
I zoomed out of the car and past the school gates. I’m really out here, double cheeked up on the first day of school. Hella ass, the sun is still out.
“IWA!” yelled a familiar voice.
I turned around to see Beizu running toward me “BEI!”
He jumped into my arms “Are you as gassy as I am?!”
“Unfortunately but in a less excited context” I groaned.
“Eww” he broke his hug “wanna go find a bathroom to have a panic attack in?”
“I’m down” I started to walk along side him, then he looped his arm around mine “Hmm?”
“I wanna walk in together” he said with a smile “another first I get to do with you together!”
“Alright” I said without questioning it. It’s true that we do things together and it’s normal for us. Every now and then we get comments on it but they don’t bother us, we’re like brothers.
One mini panic attack in the bathroom later and we stroll in the agent 1-A class. Did I mention Beizu decided to be an agent too? It was funny, because we didn’t know we were in the same program until we showed our acceptance letters to each other. We share a brain-cell...which is dangerous because one of us has to come up with a plan and the other has to be rational. We got seats next to each other and waited for homeroom to start.
“Good morning class! Please take your seats” said a man in a gray jumpsuit with some patches on the arms “I am your intel 1-A teacher, Agent 40, but you can also call me Mr. Hansai.” The man opens his portfolio “I see a few familiar names on here.”
I whisper to Beizu “I wonder who he’s talking about?”
“I don’t know, maybe it’s the girl in the back?” Beizu whispered back.
“...It looks like everyone is here” he closes his roll call “I’m going to pass out your schedules, syllabus and protocols. I expect all of you to memorize and act upon the protocols, I will regularly test you throughout the year on them. Especially you, young Palma-kun.”
My blood runs cold “How do you-”
“You look just like your mom! Also we were in the same intel class” sensei explained “If you’re anything like her, you’d be studying up this protocols along with the hero ones for any discrepancies.”
“My mom was your classmate?” My eyes widen “WAIT! You’re part of the Main 5 her year, I recall the picture she showed me!”
“What’s so special about his mom?” scoffed one of the students “So what she was in the top 5?!”
“His mother is agent 19 of the Emperor’s Coup” sensei explained, the class gasped “She’s also a big donor to our school and noted alumni.”
I felt very on the spot, everyone’s eyes were on me. A mix of envy and curiosity within their faces. I refocused when I got my packet, and let me tell you, my schedule was PACKED! No free period whatsoever! Literally after lunch is all of my hero courses. Good thing I don’t need to take any general studies aside from math, never have I been so thankful that my mom was strict on me and my siblings to learn English and Spanish! But it also looks like I’m not skipping levels on subjects like my mom and uncle Jin. Wish I had that level of genius.
“Oof, that’s a lot of classes” cringed Beizu, glancing over at my desk “but at least we have until lunch together!”
“Yeah” I smirked, remembering all of our lunch shenanigans throughout the years “You have to tell me how the rest of your general ed classes go!”
After sensei goes over the syllabus and gives us time to look over things, a classmate comes up to my desk. Their stature towering me.
“You, prodigy child” they spoke “I have decided that you’ll be my rival!”
At first I was intimidated, but the moment they said ‘rival’, I tried not to throw up in my mouth. “Um, I haven’t done anything to-”
“I will prove to you that I, Garu Netsu, will be worthy of being Main 5!” he interrupted “Don’t think because your mother was the best, you’ll be the best!”
I stood up, clearly pissed off “HEY! First of all, I just learned how to use my quirks for the field like a year ago. Second of all, you watch too much anime because I don’t do rivals or that harem shit!” I squared up my shoulders “My mom is a wonderful lady and she didn’t raise me to be her prodigy! She raised me to be her son! So sit ya ass back down and pick somebody else because I will not be competing with any of you!”
“Fine, I’ll be sitting down” the classmate walks back to their desk “but you’re still going to be the one to beat.”
“And you’ll be horrendously disappointed” I retorted back, sitting back in my seat.
“Wow, it’s like looking into a time machine” sensei chuckled “Your mom always put challengers in their place verbally! Man, I wish I recorded some of her comebacks” he sighed “they were ICONIC!”
That fucked me up a little, am I like my mom? But it wasn’t the time to have an identity crisis! We had to suit up for weapons class.
“Eww, I look like my mom with my hair up like this huh?” I gagged at myself in the locker mirror.
“Same” sighed Beizu as he closed his locker to show his pulled back hair “we really need a haircut.”
“We should go this weekend” I suggested as we walked out of the locker room “Mom’s hair dresser comes back from maternity leave on Thursday.”
“Oh! What did she have?”
“She had a boy!” I gushed “Mom showed me pictures and they got their father’s scaly skin.”
We walked to the middle of the gym to wait for the weapons instructor. The anticipation was killing me!
“Wonder what we’ll do?” Beizu asked me “your mom and aunt Mimi said that they got to hold a gun on the first day.”
“It’s true” said a thick Russian accent from behind us “Good morning new comers! I am agent 20, but you can call me Master Oleshin.”
“AUNTY MIMI?!” Beizu and I screamed.
“AH babushkas! I couldn’t recognize you from the back” Mimi was taken back “You look so much like your mothers with your hair up like that.”
Beizu and I looked at each other and our faces turned red.
“You know them too?!” cried out a classmate.
“Yes, I was in the Main 5 with the curly haired mother and the pink haired one is my nephew” she walked over and pinched our cheeks “I watched them grow from little babies to the spitting image of their mothers! I’m so proud of my nephews for pursuing intelligence” she cried out as she hugged us aggressively “It’s like having the old team back together!”
“Tia, you’re embarrassing me” I groaned breathlessly “I can’t breathe.”
“I’m sorry that I love my nephews so much” she said as she put us down “But lets get things started!” she pulled out her gun “Weaponry is not just wielding a tool, but an extension of yourself. You may know about the popular ones like the gun, knife, bow and arrow & taser. But theres so many possibilities and situations where different weapons will come into play.” She cocked her gun “I’ve mastered weapons as a supplement of my quirk. If I can aim it, I won’t miss.” She aimed for a target mounted high up on the gym wall and her shot hit the bullseye “The goal is to be more knowledgable and comfortable wielding a variety of weapons for combat. And I want you to find a personal goal for this class, whether it’s accuracy or double wielding, having one will help you in the long run of your agent career.”
Holding a gun with aunty Mimi giving me instruction felt unreal. I didn’t know she taught! It’s her first time teaching, apparently she wanted to come back to UA to teach since she was a 1st year here. To think that my mom, uncle Jin and aunty Mimi met and trained together in this very place?! I wish I could’ve seen them first meeting or seen my mom hold a gun for the first time. Last time I saw her hold one was the night of the incident...where she drew her gun at the home invader. The look on her face was something I couldn’t understand, and I still don’t understand it...but I want to someday. This line of work is drawing me in with wanting to understand why my parents are so passionate about it. BUT ENOUGH OF THAT! I glossed through the rest of the first half of my day, dreading the second half when lunch was almost over.
“Excited?” asked Beizu as he took a cheeto from my almost empty bag.
“More like loathing what’s next” I prop my head on my hand, watching Beizu crunch on cheetos “heard that hero students are really intense.”
“Lets see if you make a friend” snickered Beizu “it worked out for your mom and Lili.”
It clicked what he was trying to say “Shut up!” I playfully shoved him “I’m not finding my significant other in the hero program. Why think about dating if you have a schedule like mine?!”
“True” the bell rang “Better get a move on.”
“Yeah...OH SHIT!” I start to pack up my lunch stuff when it dawned on me “I forgot my bag in homeroom!” I hurried inside the building to get my things and try not to be too late. It’s times like these I wish I had the teleportation quirk and not bitch ass Tensei! But I slow my pace to catch my breath once I got to the correct hall. This is it, I’m in this bitch and open to whatever comes next! I get to the door that said 1-A on it, did my breathing exercise and forced myself to open the door. I saw everyone stare at me and the teacher was Mr Mineta. “Oops my bad, wrong classroom!” I slammed the door and walked the rest of the hall to my horror to see that I did open the right door! “It’s occurred to me that this is the correct classroom” I said as I opened the door “apologies for the intrusion!”
“Not a problem!” said Mr Mineta “would you like to introduce yourself?”
“Oh uhhhh sure” I hesitated a bit going up to the front and looking at everyones confused faces “Hewwo! My name is Iwata El Roca Iida, I’m doing dual program of Intelligence and Hero. Both of my parents went here! They were in the same class as Diaper Boy here.”
“For the last time! It’s Grape Juice or Mr Mineta” yelled the short man “It was bad enough your sister called me that during her time” he rubbed his temples “continue, please.”
“Okay, like Diaper Man here said, my older sister was in the hero program too. I’m not trying to follow in anyone’s footsteps, and I hope I can be useful to you in practice” I bowed “Please don’t mind my eccentric personality, I’m just very comfortable being myself.”
“Thank you Iwata, you can sit next to Kage-san” he pointed to the side desks where someone was waving their hand. “I’ll be right back class, I have to make a few copies for Iwata.”
The moment sensei closed the door everyone turned their heads to face me. Not gonna lie, they looked scary. Pretty sure mom handled the first day better than this.
“So like, is it true that you’re the son of Ingenium?!” asked the girl that sat in front of me.
“Yes! How did you-”
“Which one?” asked a different classmate.
“The leg engine one” I knew what they meant but that’s what came out of my mouth.
“Little brother Ingenium?!” gasped the girl in front of me “I didn’t know he had children?!”
“Well, he’s not the most popular hero on the list” I cut in “and he just keeps to himself when he’s working, so of course you don’t know about the family.”
“You don’t look like him, like at all!” said different classmate, getting all up in my face “bet your dad trained you from a young age to get into UA!”
“Ummm my mom trained me” I backed my face away “I have her quirk and my other quirk is unique to the Iida family engine quirk that he couldn’t train me. So I just taught myself?”
“Must be nice to be blessed with two quirks and parents that can help you train” grumbled a student facing away from everyone else.
“Gen-kun! Don’t be so mean” said Kage-san “ignore him, he’s just having a rough first day.”
“I feel you on that” I responded “all this attention has me a little flustered! I’m not used to everyone swarming me like this.”
I finish the rest of the day and meet up with Beizu at the drop off area. I tell him about my first encounter while waiting for my mom to pick us up.
“Oh! So you know the first project for our class right?” Beizu suddenly remembered.
“Yeah, the one due at the end of the first semester” I recall “what about it?”
“So I thought of what to do” Beizu got giddy “I know it’s like 2 weeks away from getting into groups or whatever BUT I wanna get started on it.”
“Is it going to top your other inventions?”
“TOTALLY! Now that I’m free to use whatever and not be limited to wood rigging, everything is going to look like child’s play!”
“I believe it” I said right before my mom arrived.
After dropping Beizu home, I came home to tell my parents about my day. Hiding the fact that I’m in both, I fibbed what I did the second half of the day. Tensei saw right through me, but didn’t say anything to my relief. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
-The next day, in the hero classroom-
I just sat my ass down for class and sensei had the AUDACITY to say that we had to go to the gym. Mega annoying! Especially since the intel locker rooms are separate from the hero locker rooms. Wonder if I can have a hero one? Is that allowed? Gotta ask later.
“Why are your training clothes different from ours?” asked Kage-san.
I deadpanned to them and put my arms up “Can’t use my quirk if I have sleeves.”
“Wow...you’re RIPPED BRO!” yelled a different classmate “we gotta train together sometime!”
I blush hard and put my arms down “Oh ummm thanks?” I didn’t know what to say, nobody has said anything about my physic like that.
“Okay! Time for spars!” sensei announced as he clicked his pen “Throughout the year, we’ll have these spars to see how your quirk and combat skills develop. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t win your round, there’s always opportunities to improve” he checks his clipboard “Mr Iida your up first with...Gon-san.”
I walk to the sparring circle, trying to hide the fact that I’m nervous. When I faced my opponent, my entire stomach dropped to my ass because it was the guy that said I was ripped.
“ALRIGHT! I get to see what those engines can do!”
“Ready?” sensei asked, waiting for us to get into position “you may BEGIN!”
Focus...breathe...don’t lose sight of your opponent... I said to myself as I cautiously circled him. He mirrored me and it didn’t help me...unless that was his quirk? To test this, I slapped myself to see if he’d do the same.
“OUCH” yelped Gon-san after slapping himself “How did you-”
“AHA!” I exclaimed before I stood still and levitated him “The scientific method never fails!”
I heard the class gasp in shock, not expecting me to have two quirks. No matter, I tossed him out of bounds and won in less than a minute.
“Winner is Iida-kun” Mineta scribbled on his clipboard “Not surprised, that telekinesis is a real whammy! Glad to see you got your mom’s strategy skills too.”
“Thank you sensei” I turn to my opponent “Are you okay?!”
“Yea, I’m fine” he said shocked “I- I wasn’t expecting you to catch on so quickly!”
I felt his voice quivering like he feared me, oof I fucked up huh? “I got a little overboard, I’m sorry I did a whole show of things. I’m new to this whole thing” I extended my hand out to help him up “swear I’m not usually like this!”
“Why are you apologizing?” He stood up and gave me the biggest starstruck look “THAT WAS AMAZING! What quirk is that?! We HAVE to train sometime!”
“Yeah! Is that your mom’s quirk?” said another classmate.
“What a unique spread of quirks! You can do anything without lifting a finger!” said another.
I stood there, blushing like a dumbass because of how praising everyone was. For once, I felt like my own person. “Aww shucks y’all” I managed to utter “you really know how to make somebody blush, it was nothing fancy.”
We continued the spars and I was really feeling accepted into the program until it was time to change. I headed toward the intel locker rooms when I felt my body freeze.
“Hey, prodigy child” spat a hateful voice behind me “You are nothing but a privileged, rich boy that doesn’t know the struggle.”
The person showed himself to me, it was that one classmate that grumbled on the first day “It’s you?! Why are you picking on me? I never bad mouthed you.”
“People like you make me sick! You were born into money and blessed with two quirks with parents that support you” he mocked “I had to fight and struggle to get here! Barely making it in. I didn’t see you at the entrance exam and from the way you carried yourself in that fight, you’re unskilled too.”
“I never said I was good, I’m still learning and that’s why I’m here, to learn just like you” I growled, losing my temper “Don’t think for a second I’m trying to de-mean you! Go ahead, throw me your best shot!” I dared him “You have me in your clutches and nobody is watching, isn’t that what you wanted to do?!”
That agitated him “What do you take me for?! I’m not the villain here” he held his fist up, winding up his punch “YOU ARE!”
I closed my eyes, waiting his punch. Instead he gets stopped by Midnight right before his fist reaches my face.
“That is enough!” Midnight said sternly “I don’t know what’s going on here but it’s not okay to hurt your classmate like this!”
“Aunty Midnight?” I gasped.
“How many teachers do you know here?!” snarled the classmate.
“Release him! There’s no point in struggling.” She demanded and seeing that the classmate was caught, he dropped his quirk and put his arm down “I’ll be talking to you later, change and go to class.”
I watch him walk away, still fuming, into the hero locker room. I turn to Midnight “Thanks for the save aunty.”
“No problem kiddo!” she smiled as she ruffled my hair “you got lucky, I was passing by to check on a different student. But are you alright?”
“I am, but that guy” I sighed “he’s right though, I am privileged and I don’t deserve to be here.”
“Don’t say that Iwata, we wouldn’t let you do two programs if we didn’t think you were capable” assured Midnight “you’re brilliant and have the potential to be very powerful in whatever field you choose. Like you said, you’re still learning.”
I was still having doubts but I wanted the conversation to be over “Thanks for that aunty, guess I should hurry and change.”
“Get a move on, I’ll get your sensei know what happened later” she said as she waved me off.
The rest of the day was tense. I felt his sharp gaze from across the room, making me feel uneasy. Pretty sure mom never had to deal with things like this! When I finally got home, I threw myself onto my bed to scream into my sheets.
“Rough day?” asked Tensei from his bed “because same.”
“What happened to you?”
“Lost my debate today because somebody played the ‘quirk inequality’ card and I didn’t have right to argue it because of my social standing as a double wielder” he said in a way that sounded very matter-o-factly “and you?”
“I made an enemy with one of my hero classmates” I groaned “all because I used my telekinesis in a spar and it triggered him to confront me when I went to go change. Apparently I’m just some privileged rich boy that was born lucky and I don’t know a single thing about the struggle.”
“Ouch, what a douchebag” cringed Tensei “like you’ve struggled with a lot! Who cares about if you came from money or not? You’re there to learn.”
“That’s what I said! But I got so mad that I egged him on to hit me” I flipped onto my back “but aunty Midnight came in for the save so I got spared.”
“Fuck, you almost got into your first fight” Tensei said as he sat up and crossed his arms “As someone who had their fair share of school fights out of self defense, you had the right to take the first hit!”
“I couldn’t even if I wanted to” I sighed and rubbed my face “I’m just trying to skate by and be chill with everyone. But of course they have to fucking bring out my Latina side and get me mad.”
“Curse the Latina rage!”
“Why don’t you just say my name huh?!” Hanaka busted into our room.
“We weren’t talking about you!” Tensei and I yelled.
The days kept rolling in and I was trying my best to be neutral with everybody. Training on my own on the weekends and busting my ass on the mountain of homework I get assigned. Wonder how my parents did this shit? Everyone says they were smart kids...wonder why that trait didn’t pass onto me and got absorbed by bitch ass Tensei. Literally, that boy has a high IQ and has perfect grades, yet he looks like the textbook definition of a punk. If you googled punk and clicked on images, he looks like the first image but with natural blue hair. Do it, it’s stupidly accurate!
-Fast forward...Thursday, intel homeroom-
It’s one month into this bitch and we just got paired into our semester project partners. To nobody’s surprise, I got Beizu.
“Can’t wait to show you what I made!” whispered Beizu.
“You already made it?” I whispered back.
Beizu nodded vigorously “Yea! I couldn’t wait and I got ahead of myself” he tapped his hands on the desk “Meet me at the tranquility garden after school, so I can show you it.”
I was surprised that he did that and wanted to show me. He rarely finishes his inventions this quickly! After school I rush over to the garden, knowing he was probably already there.
“I’m here!” I panted as I screeched to a halt.
“Great! Okay, here it is!” he said as he pulled out a cube from his backpack.
I take a closer look “It’s a...puzzle cube?”
“It’s not! Well... the outside is, I had to find a vessel that was just the right size so I gutted this puzzle cube I got at the 100 yen store” he explained “It’s a time-peekaboo machine! I figured out how to glance into the past without quirks, by accident of course! Who knew that making an energy blaster was five faulty connects away from making this?!”
“How do you know it works?”
“Well, I was at home alone when I was making and testing this” Beizu’s tone got a little sad “I fired the thing and I instead got a holographic but low quality environment of the room I was in but from years ago! I saw my dad working on something and I knew it was him! He had the same quirk as me” his voice got a little shakey “And my mom walked into the room but it was the past her, and I got startled because she said ‘Bei, come have some dinner’ and my dad looked up and said ‘coming!’. Iwa, I was named after him! My mom never talked about him to me, not even a picture!”
“Why would she hide pictures of your dad?” I raised suspicion “He’s your dad!”
“I thought that was weird too! But then the connection of that moment fizzled away, so I kept working on this until the images lasted longer and in better quality” Beizu looked into my eyes “I want to know the truth about my dad, I always felt a part of me was missing growing up. I’m not saying my mom is a liar but maybe this is something that needs to be confronted?”
I’ve never seen him so determined like this, it gave me courage to help him “I’ll help you in any way I can!” I put my hand on top of the cube “So how does it work?”
“I just press the button here and the hologram shows up” Beizu refocused back to the cube “I’m not sure how far back it goes, maybe to when we weren’t born yet?”
“Only one way to find out!” I said as I slammed my finger down on the button “YEET!” I saw the garden around us disappear except for this one tree and it stunned me.
“Wow this whole field area was so...boring and plain looking” said Beizu, looking around.
I scanned the area and caught sight of someone sitting at the roots of the tree “Who is that?” I took a closer look and saw it was two people “Oh, it looks like they’re having lunch?”
“What are they saying?” Beizu asked as he got silent to listen in and I did the same.
“...You didn’t have to make me anything!”
“I insist!...All just for you!”
“Why do they sound...familiar?” I said to myself as I clocked the voices but not the faces.
“Oh my god it’s like I’m back home!...”
“...I just wanted to do something nice for you, you bring me peace during these scary times.”
“Ooh! It’s one of those lunches!” Beizu commented “Gosh I wish I knew what year this was!”
“Shh! I want to hear what the guy is saying” I shushed, straining to hear.
“...And honestly, I haven’t felt like that since I got here but you helped me remind myself of the one thing that defines me. Thank you Iida-san.”
“Call me Tenya.”
“Ok then, Tenya, thank you for making me feel cherished and myself again.”
“No, thank you Ita!”
I went pale “Those...those are my parents?!” the moment I said that, the image fizzled and the garden reappeared.
“Ahhh! I can’t believe it!” squealed Beizu “We glanced at the beginning of your parent’s love story! This has to be like, what, 27 years ago?”
“Maybe? I don’t know” I was still in shock “she looked so small compared to him! But she looks different than I expected.”
“What do you mean?”
“Like, she looks...sad and shy” I said with concern “What happened to her? She doesn’t give off that sassy and cool energy like everyone tells me, I want to give her a hug and wrap her in a blanket!”
“Well, she was with your dad” Beizu commented “maybe she was dropping the act because she’s comfortable around him? He did make her lunch.”
“Hmmm, I don’t know what to think” I pondered “but that was quite the trial run! Maybe tweak it so we can see into different times? Like adding a clock we can set to a certain date to look at?”
“Ooh! I know what to do!” Beizu took out his phone to record himself “note to self: add a calendar setting to the cube.”
That scene of my parents fucked me up harder than I thought once I got home. Looking at my dad and how truly committed he is to my mom. 27-ish years and going strong! Wonder what’s that secret formula. But on the other hand, why was my mom so sad in the past? And what ‘healed’ her? And why is Beizu being held back information about his dad? Somethings not adding up, hopefully it’s not a mess of other interconnected shit...the fuck you think this is? A shonen manga?!

Hoshigaki Kisame
Name:Nami Yuriko Age:21
-Primary role:Medical nin -Secondary:Poison master/Assassin -Kekkei Genkai:Shuts off her vital systems, entering in a coma-like death state while in grave danger. -Iwagakure made her a rogue nin after choosing to save her team mates rather than finishing the mission. -Has fox traits -Best friend:Deidara
---------------------------------------------------
So,this was the end of my career as an Iwagakure ANBU captain.Damn me,with my empathy and compassion...I guess I just might not really be cut out for this Shinobi world. But it's fine.I can survive on my own too.I'm a Poison master and a survivor.Captain Nami on duty...
And I'm a Fox,for Kami's sake.A medical fox.I should be fine on my own.I hope...
~~ Day 5 --
Dear diary. What the fuck have I been doing?Did I really think it'll be okay to stay by myself in a forest, when the Tsuchikage apparently ordered my demise? Godamn you,traitor... Well,I have to run for my life.Ja ne~
--
----
This past months I've been getting along quite well with the guys, especially with Deidara,Kisame and Itachi. Missions were easy peasy lemon squeezy, and as for my medical ninjutsu?Nothing big came up.These guys are pros, after all. That was, until this next mission... Leader-sama paired me up with Kisame to go to the Land of Water to find some important feudal people and assassinate them. Easy enough, right?
Wrong.
-
It's great that Kisame is in his element, having the ground advantage,so it didn't matter me being unfamiliar with these places. And it's great that the Shinobi Village of Kirigakure and the Feudal lords have nothing to o with each other,so they can't really interfere. Assassinating them was piece of cake.Kisame was the tank, staying in front, fighting them effortlessly, while I stayed in the trees, shooting poison needles at them. We make quite a great team, right! As we made our escape,we were cornered by countless Kirigakure ANBU and surprisingly, even the Yondaime Mizukage,Yagura the Sanbi Jinchuriki was here. Well...we're screwed. Kisame even had to transform in his Shark form, but again, since I wasn't stealthed and couldn't go into hiding to start throwing the poison needles,it was difficult for me to fight properly.I'm not strong at taijutsu...but I guess I could work something out. I started punching the ones approaching me,sending them into trees.Maybe they didn't die,but they surely won't wake up too soon.Slice and dice, slice and dice, throw kunais, stab with needles,Kisame is quite exhausted as well,Yagura is in his Version 2,being able to control Isobu the Sanbi Bijuu.Well, that's remarkable,I agree, but NOT IN THIS SITUATION! Okay,Kisame is gravely wounded and Samehada was thrown away. I ran to it,use the Teleportation Jutsu on it,putting it in my utility scroll, despite it attacking me for not being his rightful owner, and summon 15 shadow clones, making them blow themselves up with the explosives bombs that Deidara gave me,in case of danger.Guess he was right, for once. And I might not be too strong ,but in the confusion and smoke,I managed to punch away the Mizukage and drag Kisame away from the battle, leaving the Land of Water for good. But he was unconscious and fatally wounded,so I had to retort to my medical ninjutsu right away. I made a small table to put him on it,grabbed my utility scroll,to get the instruments, and started the operation. It requires a shit ton of chakra, but I will be fine.I have to be,so I can save him. Increase cellular regeneration, use the scalpel, send regular waves of chakra to his chakra points and nervous system, make sure his heart beats regularly, take the poison out of his system, purify the blood, treat the major gashes, check for any possible internal or external hemorrhage, any possible organ alteration or injury, treat the minor scars and bruises, hydrate him as much as possible.I hope taking in account that he has both mammal and fish characteristics was the good thing to do. Gosh...I'm drained of my chakra...this was a lot to do...hours of procedures and tons of chakra drained...but he is waking up.He will be okay... I got the food and water containers from my utility scroll and help him eat and drink a bit. Kisame:What happened? me:Dont force yourself to talk.It might strain the muscles... Kisame:I am fine, thank you,Nami-san. me:Well...they might be strong, but they aren't too smart... Kisame:You got us away from them? me:Yeah...for a while...I guess using countless of confusing decoys really paid off. Kisame:You're a smart fox.Thank you for saving me. me:Any time. Kisame:W-wait a secon...my...my Samehada...I lost it on the battleground...it was taken by them... me:Don't worry,Kisame.I have it.I will give it back when we get to the HQ,okay?Until then, can you walk? Kisame:Thank you,Nami.I owe you. me:Nah,don't fret.I care about you.You are my friend.I would never leave a friend die. Kisame:You really have a precious heart... me:*chuckles*So I've been told... I helped him get up,and surprisingly,he is strong enough, despite just having recovered. He truly has an amazing body... On the other hand, the lack of chakra was taking its toll on me,and while I was trying to walk,I could only hear a faint voice, see black, and lose consciousness,as I hit the hard ground.
---
-?-:She will be fine. She just overused her chakra, that's all.Rest will help her recover. Kakuzu...? -?-:Why didn't you take care of her,um?! Deidara...! -?-:Because...she took care of me... Kisa...me...?! Dei:What do you mean? Kisame:We were ambushed by the ANBU and the Mizukage himself. You know very well she isn't as skilled in close range combat. She is a stealth specialist, while I'm the only one with sword and combat skills. Kakuzu:He is right. There is nobody to blame. No one could expect the Mizukage himself to attack. Kisame:I am sorry,Deidara.I did not mean for Nami to get hurt.. Dei:*sighs* Yeah,I know,I know, sorry.I just hate seeing her like this. Kakuzu:She wasn't hurt, she just overused her chakra. No big deal.Let her rest for now. Dei:Fine... After hearing the door shut,I felt my hand being taken in someone else's,and then a sigh.It was Kisame. Kisame:I doubt you can hear me,but I just want to apologize for not being strong enough, and for having to look after me,even while your life was being endangered.I have to become much....much stronger to be able to look after you...to protect you fro harm's way.And that is just what I will do...everyday....every night...because...Nami...I...care for you.I...never would have imagined that...someone like me...a...monster...like me...could ever deserve such love and compassion from an angel like you.Never has it crossed my mind that I will have someone as perfect as you take care of me,an even risk her own life, for my worthless one.I believed,my whole life,to be a heartless killing machine, capable of no warm emotions. But after all, every Yin has its Yang...and I...Nami...I...love you.And I swear to protect you with everything I have, from now on. And with that,he kissed my hand and left the room quietly.Oh,Kisame...if only I would have been more aware of your real feeling for me,I'd have told you before of my own feelings.
--
A week later,at night,I saw that Kisame hasn't come to dinner.Or any meal today, for what matters. With a sigh,I excused myself and got the dish, going out to bring Kisame some food.He needs a lot of nutriments for his metabolism. He is a big guy, after all. He was outside, training in the rain. me:Bet you love this kind of weather. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat the whole day. Kisame:I am quite busy,I apologize.I must- me:Train more.Yeah,I know. But I also know that you must eat as well,in order to get strong. Kisame:I am fine. Please,do not disturb my training. me:I am a medical nin, don't go against my knowledge. Kisame:I did not mean to- me:Kisame.Listen to me.Stay down and eat. Kisame:*sighs*Thank you,Nami-san... I smile as he sat down to eat, breathing heavily too,and finished in a matter of seconds. Kisame:Thank you for the meal. me:Don't sweat it. Kisame:Now,if you do not mind,I will go back to- me:Kisame. Kisame:Yes? His back was facing me,while he was staring absently into the cloudy grey sky. I went in front of him and stood on my tippy toes, trying to reach him.I put my hands on his face, cupping it,making him look me straight in the eyes.He tried to look tough and emotionless, but sorrow was clouding his eyes. me:Kisame. You worry me. Kisame:I am sorry,Nami-san. me:Please...Kisame...I...understand your sorrow.Being shunned for being and looking different.People fearing you.Your own village shunning you for doing what was best for the mission.Being...different in general.But...Kisame...I...heard what you said.Back then, when I was resting after the chakra overuse. His eyes went wide with shock and a tint of purple on his cheekbones. Was he...blushing? me:Kisame...are you...blushing? He turned around fast and jumped away.So that's how you want to play, huh?Fine.Be that way. I conceal my chakra and shot off after him, until I see him and the same river where we met, standing on a rock, with his feet dangling in the water. I jump from the tree and land on the water, right in front of him. me:Don't think you can win at Hide and Seek with me. He looked down with a sad chuckle. Kisame:You were not supposed to hear what I said that day.You are going to be afraid and start being cold. You will not notice the subtle hints anymore. You might distance yourself and stay with your friends more, leaving me alone again. You will fake your nice act, because you are a kind person, but it will be see-through.And...I could not bare to see that happening...You..Nami-san...are my weakness. me:That won't ever happen. And want to know why? Kisame:...why? me:Because I love you,Kisame. Kisame:*shocked*Wh-what....? me:Love isn't a weakness,Kisame.Love and compassion is what makes us stronger. The desire to protect the ones we love.The...power to move on and keep on going...that is...all thanks to love. And Kisame, you aren't my weakness. You are my strength.I saved you that day, because I couldn't ever imagine my life without you in it.Kisame...I love you. And with that,I put my hands on his face and kiss him softly, then put my forehead on his, gazing into his eyes with a warm loving look. me:Don't be afraid of your emotions,Kisame. You are capable of feeling positive emotions too.You are not a monster. You are like me.You're a good person.Kind,compassionate,loyal,brave,strong...You just hide them, because that's the standard of a shinobi.Cold.You do a great job, putting walls around you.But I'm a destroyer.Don't forget that the weird bomber is my best friend.Ahem,regardless... As I look away to smile,Kisame took the opportunity to hug me tightly, putting his chin on my head. Kisame:Thank you,Nami-chan.You are right.Thank you,for showing me that I am not the monster I always thought I was. With that,we stayed in silence, hugging each other, letting the pouring rain fall, creating a wonderful musical harmony that soothed our senses.Kisame...I love you.
--
Despite telling him not to beat himself up for me saving him that day,he still hasn't given up his extreme training. At least, this time,I'm always there to make sure he doesn't mistreat himself as he used to.Getting weaker while striving for strength is quite ironic and disappointing, yet possible,if you manage to look over the bodily needs.Oh well. All was well so far. That is,until I was assigned on a solo mission. As for my skill level,it was merely espionage and assassination.A simple biodegradable needle filled with lethal poison that will insta-kill you should be enough to cover my tracks. And the poison in his body won't even be detectable.Isn't that just great? Captain Nami on duty! Just before I left,Kisame kissed my head an hugged me tightly, telling me to be careful. How sweet of him...When he should be taking care of himself.
---
Armed and ready. The target was located.I concealed my chakra all good when I entered the Country of Fire.I really love this kind of environment...so easy to hide...stealthy...sneaky...silent assassinations...so many trees and leaves... Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! Just in case of needing a diversion. To confuse the target. But they can't all look like me...I'll make them look like the Akatsuki members,so the target will be intimidated. *swoosh* The needle finds its way in the neck of the target. He widens his eyes, then falls on the ground, looking dead. That's gotta sting hehe... Just as I smirked and was preparing my poison set,so I could get home,I heard a maniac laugh coming from underneath me,and I saw him.The target that was supposed to be dead. He took the needle from his neck, then jumped to my level, and dropped it in my hand,as I watched him shocked. That particular poison was made with both my and Sasori's forbidden village secrets. He was NOT supposed to be alive.But...how? guy:Nice trick, but we were prepared for an Akatsuki attack, and we got prepared for a Cheap Shot like this.We knew it was going to be you to come,so we made an army full of poison resistant highly-skilled shinobi to kill you.You also have a reaaaaally nice bounty on your head.To think though that the Akatsuki would let such a little, precious member of their organization go on such a difficult mission on her own.Or did they send you solo on purpose?Or perhaps...A suicide mission?
I'm not one to talk much, but I kicked the guy in the face, and started jump-running on all 4s out of there as fast as I could.I wasn't a kitsune for nothing, after all.Swiftly now! The only problem with this kind of fleeing,is that I am fast, but it's a blind race.Meaning that my eyes cannot pay attention to all their surroundings...and I might get ambushed easily. I hoped for the best, but the best wasn't for me to receive,as I felt myself falling on the ground, after a punch in the face from an Otogakure bastard.Godamn,he sure can pack a punch...My nose is bleeding...ouchie... If only I could get away from here...somehow... But I doubt that will happen, since there are way too many Otogakure bastards surrounding me right now.In one word... I'm totally screwed. They started chuckling, and one after another, started using their sound wave jutsus to mess with my senses. My balance was a mess and couldn't stand up,the vibrations were ringing in my head, scrambling my brain...it hurts so much,I can't even think. What can I do to get out of this... This torture is so bad, that tears welled up in my eyes, and I started burying myself in the crater that I formed upon falling, trying to act like a mole would, but with no avail. They kept dragging me by the scruff of my shirt, using the sound waves as a torture method,as they kept laughing at my weakness and vulnerability.I'd laugh at it too,if only I wasn't so frustrated and burning with anger at my own self-pity and uselessness and worthlessness in the organization and the world itself. No wonder the Tsuchikage sent me away.No wonder Leader sent me on this kind of mission. I was useless and had to be disposed of faster than trash. My thoughts of Self-deprecation continued as I was still being held down while squirming to get out of their grip and flee the scene, when I thought... I have a needle with fake poison in it.Combining it with my coma state like Kekkei Genkai,it will be easy to act dead...if they don't know about it...and if they don't continue to belittle my own corpse...
I started screaming louder, whilst managing to free my right hand from their grip, and I took out the fake poison needle from my belt and shoved it into my neck and activating my Kekkey Genkai at the same time. And with that,I was left hoping for the best outcome.
===
Light... Am I...dead? Did my plan not work? The afterlife actually exists? What about Kisame and the others? Are they okay? Do they know that I died? Will they be okay? Those were the countless questions I was asking myself, until an annoyed voice could be heard behind me.The author of this voice was...well...actually me myself. Well obviously they will be okay without you! They can easily find someone so much better than you! Yeah...I know...No need to remind me,stupid self. You were asking a shit ton of useless rethorical questions. This is not a book,so the reader won't be able to answer to in their mind. It's your own consciousness.Use it for once, dammit. You are way too much of a bitch to want to be this hopeless as to actually talk to you. Then what about your lovy dovy sharky boy?Don't you miss him? What about Kisame? It's doubtless that I miss him and want to check up on him.Why ask? Why don't you check for yourself then? I can do that? Yes,you idiot!Jeez,I never knew my own self was so dumb... Shut up!I didn't know you could look after someone while being dead! Well...maybe you see...because...YOU ARE NOT DEAD?! I'm...not?!But...how?!I-I thought... *facepalms*Just...wake up...and get the hell out of here.I dealt with your idiocy enough... Screw you...
And with that,I managed to slowly flutter my eyes open, trying to get a better idea of my living position at that moment. I was in a familiar blue room that seemed to strike a certain nostalgia in my brain. Why?Because this was Kisame's room. But why am I in his room? How did I get to the HQ? Suddenly, the room opened, and many concerned voices could be heard. Dei:You sent her ALONE on a mission to kill Orochimaru?!Are you mad, yeah?! Pein:We were not aware of that detail of the mission. Dei:Detail?!DETAIL?!It cost Nami her life! Sasori:Shut up,brat. That isn't true. She's alive. Dei:What do you mean,Danna? Sasori:Kisame found her with her own poisoned needle in her neck, but while researching that certain poison,I realized that it was not,in fact,poison.Just...grape juice... Konan:Why would she do that, then? If she wasn't poisoned, then why was she in that that catatonic state? Itachi:Kekkei...Genkai.... Kisame:Itachi-san?You know of her clan's Kekkei Genkai? Itachi:*nods*It allows her to enter in a coma state, shutting of any vital system while at it.She cannot die from it,obviously. Dei:How do you know that,um? Itachi:I do my research. Tobi:Tobi thinks Nami-chan was lucky that Kisame-san found her and saved her.Poor Nami-chan!!!*whines* Dei:Shut up,Tobi! Those bastards messed with her hearing sense enough! You don't have to add up to it,yeah! Kakuzu:It would seem that you are just as noisy. Leader:I know I am at fault for this mission incident, but we are going to track down the requester and hunt him down. Dei:This calls for revenge!Yeah! Sasori:Shut up,brat.Let's get out of here. She needs rest, not noise. Konan:Sasori is right.Although,I believe that Kisame should remain in here. They all nodded in agreement and slowly made their way out of the room, and I heard a loud, aggravated sighs. It was Kisame. Kisa:An once again,I fail to protect you.How could I let something like this happen?!What if you died?Or lost your hearing completely?Or were captured?Or...or...Saint Same-Sama,I do not want to ever imagine those possible apocalyptic scenarios... me:Kisa...You're such a drama queen...with that...sophisticated....vocabulary... Kisa:Nami...!You are awake... me:*smirks*Bad time to be awake?I could pretend to be asleep, while you continue your lovely monologue. Kisa:D-don't do that again... me:It was really sweet though...But you are right...I'm really surprised I don't actually have any kind of injury or long-term trauma from that...incident... Kisa:*sighs*I should have come after you as soon as you left...I knew something was wrong...I could somehow...feel it...the...the terrible malicious evil vibe that I felt while you were away....My heart felt like it were held too tightly...almost squashed...I knew something bad was going to happen to you...and yet... me:You saved me,Kisa-kun. Kisa:E-eh..? me:Tell me,how did I get here? Kisa:I...went after you...Itachi-san conviced me to follow what my heart was screaming for and go in search of you...He thought the mission seemed quite fishy and wanted to make sure you were safe... me:*chuckle*Nice pun there... Kisa:Nami! Please do not laugh at a time like this!I was worried sick and guilty beyond measure! me:I'm sorry,Kisa. But I do appreciate you saving me from those bastards.I do appreciate everything you've one for me thus far,and even more.I love how you are so sweet and kind when it comes to me...How you truly show that you love me with all your heart...looking after me when nobody else did... Kisa:That is the sole purpose of my existence,Nami. To know that you are safe, with me. me:Oh,Kisa-kun....If you continue this lachrymatory speach,I swear I might shed more tears. Kisa:No no no no no!Please do not let your soft cheeks be hosts to the rivers of tears...not anymore...not while I am around. me:You have no idea how much I love you,my dear Shakespearian poet.Thank you for saving me,Kisame. Both from those ninjas, and from the darkness within. Kisa:Do not ever thank me for protecting you,for that is...ahem...*fain blush*what a boyfriend does. My eyes widened in shock at his words as I stared at him with sparkly eyes.He never said 'boyfriend' or 'girlfriend' before. This was a huge step. me:M-my boyfriend...Kisame...You are my boyfriend...YOU ARE SO SWEET,GODAMN IT! Kisa:*scratches his hair**looks away*Ehe...is that so... me:Yes.It is quite so. Kisa:Well,I doubt the taste of fish is any sweet, actually.Either that,or your taste buds have been messed up with. me:Why don't you let me decide that? Kisa:H-huh?How? me:Like this-- In a blink of an eye,I was in front of him, standing on his feet, kissing him softly while my hands were in his hair.I could feel his smile, while deepening the kiss,as his hands snaked around my waste, putting me closer to him, supporting me.Standing like this, chest to chest, forehead to forehead, looking at each others eyes or sharing a passional kiss filled with love and sparks,is what I was thoroughly thrilled to have in my life.My life that I am going to spend with Kisame. All of a sudden though I coul feel something hard poking my abdomen and I muttered his name while biting my lip, then looking down,my eyes were wide in shock, and I jumped back on the bed in surprise at what I saw.
....
Samehada broke out of its bandage-prison and made its way between me and Kisame, looking all spiky and scary.I was being intimidated by the scaley sword that was 'threatening' me,as Kisame's body shook with mirth, looking at my blushing-frightened expression. Kisame:Seems like someone is quite jealous of our lovely relationship.Do not worry,Samehada.I will not neglect you.But I do have a lover now. The sword slowly made its scales smoothen while looking...depressed and deflated, and went back in the closet. me:Wh-what...did just...w-why...b-but...u-uh... Kisame:*chuckle*I must admit,I have not laughed like this in quite a while.Seeing Samehada jealous like that... me:That was indeed weird... Kisame:Why did you get so scared like that though? me:It was a real jumpscare,Kisame!Don't laugh! Kisame:*grin*It was just my sword! me:I wasn't paying attention and it kept poking my abdomen! It was freaky! Kisame:What did you think it was,Nami? me:U-uh...I...w-well...ermh...d-dunno!Kisame,don't ask such silly qustions! He chuckle darkly while smirking with a glint in his eye that I never got the chance to experience before.Just as I thought that,I found myself pinned on the bed, with a smug-faced smirking Kisame dangerously close to my burning red face. me:K-K-KISAME!WH-WHAT DO Y-YOU THINK YOU'RE D-DOING?! Kisame:*puts his finger to my lips*Do not make such a ruckus,or the others might storm back. me:B-b-b-ut....K-kisa...me... Kisame:*whispers*What did you think it was,Nami-chan~? me:...N-nothing... Kisame:Such innocence...I might actually feel bad for tainting it... me:Wh-what d-do y-you mean...? Kisame:Shh...Just enjoy this night...like it is our last... me:Kisa...me...I love you... Kisame:I love you,Nami-chan.As he said that,my face burnt even worse as I was squirming in his embrace, embarrassed to the point of fainting.Although...I must say...seeing both sides of Kisame...Is surely intriguing.I have a lot to discover about him and a lot to look forward to,from this lucky shark.

Sorry not sorry
Me: (breaks down your door) WHO IS READY FOR ANOTHER THEORY!!!
Alright, this time we’re going to tackle a theory I alluded to in a past post with Pyrrha merch. And I’ve given this quite a bit of thought, and seeing how we’re still getting great merch like :
I think we should give some thought as to why RT is still giving us our greatly beloved (and “dead”) Pyrrha Nikos.
Now before we get into this theory, I want to make it clear that nothing I predict/theorize will be confirmed or denied completely for a while (like after Salem is defeated).
So, you guys are probably muttering to yourselves “I swear to god if this is another Pyrrha is secretly alive theory I’m going to--” and let me stop you there. Yes. This is a theory kinda like that.
Now some of you guys are probably crying/screaming “But Nerdzz, Pyrrha was confirmed dead at the end of volume 3, when she turned to ash!” And to that my friend, you are right. It has been confirmed the Pyrrha Nikos we knew is dead. But that doesn’t mean Pyrrha as in Pyrrha Nikos the spirit, or the body is completely gone. Let’s go back to the end of volume 3.
In the final episodes of RWBY Volume 3 we get an amazing showdown between Pyrrha Nikos and Cinder Fall. A showdown that results in this scene:
After this we watch Pyrrha slowly turn to ash, don’t worry, I’m not going to add a gif of that. But this scene does one thing for the show, it tells us Pyrrha Nikos is gone.
Notice I say gone and not dead. We still don’t know the extent of Cinder’s Fall Maiden powers, and frankly, neither does Cinder. How am I so sure that Cinder doesn’t know her own powers. Simple.
Amber, the previous fall maiden. During her fight with Cinder and her goons we see the power of the maidens. Powers that include changing/controlling weather, possibly shields (again we don’t know much about the maiden powers, so I’m making my best guesses here), and hopefully much much more.
Now back to Cinder and Pyrrha’s fight, during the fight there was a lot of close quarters combat. But Cinder didn’t use the maiden powers to the extent that Amber did during their battle. All we see is Cinder going a little fire happy with her new powers. There was no weather manipulation, a little of the shields seen, but nothing quite to the scale of Amber.
There is however one thing about Cinder’s powers that we watched.
The arrow. (Sorry I tried the gif I made and it wasn’t working.... thanks free online software.)
This arrow that turned to ash and back that shot Pyrrha. (Apparently there are other theories of teleportation that use this, I haven’t looked into them though.) Now I won’t necessarily call this teleportation, but a vehicle for travelling. A vehicle that can make something appear gone, when really it’s not.
I’m going to put this on the back burner for a moment, and switch gears to the only other person Cinder fought one on one with after gaining her maiden powers.
Ozpin.
Or as of volume 4, Oscar.
Now Cinder believes, or at least hopes, Ozpin was killed during their fight. We of course know better, but what we don’t know is what happened to Oz when he “died”. For all we know Oz, much like Pyrrha was turned to ash once “defeated” by Cinder. But Oz isn’t dead, his conscious was put into Oscar’s head.
This is where I’m going to split my ideas into two, cause really, things can go anywhere in RWBY. I’m going to make a list of things we know about their “deaths”.
- Both “died” fighting Cinder (a new Fall Maiden)
- Pyrrha was turned to ash after being shot in the chest ( I’m no doctor, but from where it landed I’m guessing it was around the sternum, not anywhere near the heart, so it’s completely possible that this shot didn’t even kill Pyrrha, just really fucking hurt)
- From the arrow Pyrrha began to turn to ash
- Oz was claimed dead, but is instead residing in the brain of a kid
It’s not a lot, but it’s enough for me to come to two conclusions.
Conclusion A: Pyrrha was sent to some place, most likely Salem since I’m sure Salem could use a warrior like Pyrrha.
Conclusion B: Pyrrha was sentenced to the same fate as Ozpin and is living it out in someone’s head.
Now, these two options are plausible, even though it’s been confirmed Pyrrha is “dead”, since technically something about Pyrrha would have to die for either outcomes. For A Pyrrha’s mind would most likely be killed, since Pyrrha would resist Salem and her cohorts as much as possible (this is where we’d get !Grimm Pyrrha). And for B Pyrrha would have to lose her body, which in a sense is killing her as she would no longer be able to interact with people other than whoever she is residing in.
OR, it could be a mixture of the two. Again we have no clue what powers the maidens have, or even what Salem can do. I think this is more unlikely however, I feel as that if Pyrrha is indeed brought back in one of these ways they wouldn’t want her to be able to return to her old life in anyway. Having both A and B be true could lead to potentially merging mind and body together again, which would cancel out the sacrifice Pyrrha made.
If they were to go this route though I’d love to see Pyrrha telling whoever she’s in to tell Jaune, or whoever might be fighting her body, to kill/destroy it. That would not only cause distress to everyone since that would ensure Pyrrha never coming back as her old self, but as well as destroy the last physical form Pyrrha will ever have.
Honestly though, I want A to happen. I love the idea of Pyrrha being evil and being Salem’s go to fighter for everything. And the mental distress it would put on people like Ruby and Jaune who blame themselves for Pyrrha’s death. It can open a lot of doors for character development with the two, as well as create a possible base for Lancaster if the show deems it appropriate to go that way. (I’m a die hard WhiteRose shipper however, and will sink with the ship if the show decides Lancaster is the way to go). Or to better other shipping habits, having the characters go through the mental destruction that would be seeing what Pyrrha became because both Ruby and Jaune failed to save her can allow for bonds to be created between Ruby and Jaune and whoever you may ship with them.
Going back to the merch RT doesn’t make new merch for completely killed off characters such as Roman Torchwick. Yet Pyrrha is still having new merch created for here. (If I am wrong please someone correct me).
So fingers crossed that out beloved hero Pyrrha returns in future volumes.

back at it again in the lost woods
bc i havent played this game in awhile it hits me like a gut-punch just how incredible the SCOPE is...i can see literally across almost the entire world when i get to a high point and it's so lifelike, there's this one mountain you can see like 5 states from or something and i think of that when i get overwhelmed by how big this world is
i wonder how big it is in irl terms
like ocarina of time—OCARINA OF TIME, my fucking GAME, the one that made me feel this same exact way when i was 8—is only as big as the plateau, the smallest area, so like. damn
lol apparently it would cover the entire island of manhattan. cool cool cool
can you imagine a game that's like, as big as the world irl? tbh i doubt it'd be possible/enjoyable bc so much of our world is like...just. oceans. boring to explore, to program, to look at, etc (at least abovewater, and we haven't even irl-explored all of underwater)
anyway idk what to do first! gonna ponder my options
wait. i should see if my cards still work
my brother handmade these absolutely fuckin SICK cards for my birthday that work like pirated amiiboos, but i got my mom to lamenate them and he was worried they wouldn't work and now i'm like lkjdfhgdfg YOU HEARD HER SUGGEST THAT WHY NOT VOICE THE CONCERN THEN
oh they do still work thank fuck
i suppose first things first i'll go back to the plateau and get the chests everyone else has had for months
after all this time i still think it feels a bit lonely without the old man, even though i know, i KNOW, he was a huge dick
and now i've got a switch shirt! ironic since i have no switch
now i want the korok mask so i can start inching closer to that ever-elusive finish line, which i may never reach
i have no idea where you start the quest tho
just tried to land on a horse from above; got kicked and flew like 6 feet. #youtriedit
was immediately also just assaulted by the yiga clan and some skeleton thingies (lol not stalfos. what are they called you old timer) and the guy from the yiga clan FOLLOWED ME BACK UP THE PLATEAU. RUDE. DONT ACCOST WOMEN IN PUBLIC!
anyway. the korok masks
ok, woodland stable
you know i also forgot how lonely this game could be. never has a game made me more grateful for the sight of people
now that i have wolf link im gonna try to keep him out as often as possible. like carrying a christmas duck
HE JUST GOT HIT AND WHIMPERED AND I WOULD IMMEDIATELY DIE FOR HIM
so much for him killing things for me now i gotta be protective of him smh lmao
awww you can feed him to restore hearts ;w;
he does make me feel a little less lonely tho
HE WON'T COME INTO BUILDINGS ):
i hope they let him into my own house, jesus
poor baby can't swim either )))):
ooh but he teleports to follow you rapidly!! COOL
he just chased a squirrel. incredible
oh maybe that was a bird
ooh wolf link even leads you to shit on the sheikah sensor GOOD boy
GOT MY MASK aw link has his hair up in a bun to wear it
well that didn't take long. it says there's a korok nearby and i see no place it could hiding so im just :///
ok well i wanna explore and find more new armor but im also hella eager to try the new master sword stuff and im not playing for v long tonight so here i gooo
i remember in earlier liveblogs i said i was sad there wasn't more to do in the forest because i loved being there so much...no there is at least for a short time :D
cant use wolf link in the forest ): wolfyyyyy ))):
AWWW THE LITTLE MINI-CUTSCENE OF THE KOROKS PLAYING WITH THE STICK/FAKE SWORD AWWWW
ohhh it's like eventide isle. bad
lol except they obviously heard of the leaving your items in the ocean hack and wanted none of it. well good for them
im scared
don't like it don't like it
ohhh my god there's multiple floors...i think i read 45? i am not up for all 45 tonight i hope i get to like save and quit at some point??
"YOU CANNOT SAVE RIGHT NOW"?? i regret every possible thing
ike it's making combat fun again (stratgey matters! it's not so hard you wanna die!enemies take damage!) but man i just wanted to see what it was all about i wasn't signed up for this!!!
well it doesnt matter cause i died on floor 6 anyway :/ didn't heal and accidentally got too close to an explosive barrel i threw at the talus
