Hi! The cover is good I think, yeah they retuned Miku and pitched it down but like, we knew that was going to happen and you know what? They made it work, retuned Miku doesn't sound absolutley out-of-place like she did in Nightcord's Non-Breath! And the pitch-down didn't make the song sound bad like it did with the Saki + Tsukasa cover of Cosmospice!

They kept up with the energy of the original song, especially Emu, Emu fits PinocchioP's energy so well, also the 3D MV,,,is good! It's really good! I'm really happy it's good! I try to give a pass to MV's that don't think are that great because because it's hard. I could criticise Nightcord's MV for being bad and boring but like. They were never gonna live up to the absolutely gorgeous intricate fast original 2D MV. It would be an unfair criticism to make. But I am happy the MV for this cover is good

Song of the day: Porter Robinson - Russian Roulette

Genre: Hyperpop, Happy Hardcore

This one is going to be hard to talk about. TW: Self harm, suicide

This song is the only example I can think of where it is too powerful to be added to my regular listening catalogue. I'm serious, if this thing comes up at any point, I'm tearing up at a minimum. It's the best song off of this excellent album, which as a whole is about Porter's awkwardness and missteps as an adult so far in his life. And I respect that, because there's plenty of stories of how awkward teenage years are, but as a 24 year old living an awkward life, I'm glad to see my era represented so closely to what I experienced myself, for better or worse.

Let's rip the bandaid off right now, I've come very close to killing myself. As in, the only thing stopping me from attempting an overdose was my own lack of energy stopping me from getting out of bed. Obviously this isn't one to one with russian roulette, but since it wasn't certainly going to kill me, it felt like the same kind of gamble: the one I wanted to lose.

The pressures Porter describes that lead him to this point are something on a scale I couldn't imagine. He's a superstar producer, one of the biggest names in electronic music, and one that has a track record of consistently putting out very high quality work. He talks about how he feels this pressure throughout this album, including the opener where he basically voices his fear over releasing something his fans don't like and tarnishing a pretty spotless discography, but in this track, he specifically mentions things like Pitchfork calling him "the next big thing" and wanting to make money off of his identity and prestige, which clearly doesn't sit well with him. But feeling that he has no other way out of that situation once he's been entrenched in it, he contemplates playing russian roulette as a means of escape. He also mentions a friend losing his head and not doing anything about it, which may specifically be a nod to the late Avicii. Porter has cited Avicii's death as a wake up call for him (and many others in the scene) to get sober, and while I don't know if they were close friends or not, Porter feels that they were close enough that he should've done something.

So there he is, two verses and two choruses saying how much he wants to die, plus an extra quiet repeat chorus which forces listeners to get uncomfortably intimate with him in what could be his final moments. But then out of that quietness comes instead a list of reasons why he wants to stay alive, at least for a bit longer. The first one is the most impactful to me: "I wanna see my mom one more time." My mom died after a looong battle with cancer a little over a year ago, and I have to say, you often take for granted what you have until it's gone. If I had known how much I miss her now, she would've been at the top of my list too in my darkest hours.

He lists off several things like that. "I wanna kiss my cat one more time" also hits hard since I have two cats, one of which is newer to the house and is sleeping on me as I type this. "I wanna thank my dad one more time." "I wanna play in the snow one more time." "I wanna marry her one more time." And after listing off enough of these, he comes to the realization that he doesn't really want to go through with this, repeating the simple yet VERY powerful "I wanna live, I don't wanna die" over and over into one of the biggest drops on the album, an all out happy hardcore rave of positive energy at the revelation that he does have things to live for.

Cheesy? Maybe. But in the aftermath of the drop, a goofy text to speech voice comes in to address that, saying "Clichés like this are beautiful, because they reflect us, and we are beautiful" (which is punctuated with a pretty funny YAY sound effect that gets cut off abruptly). And the text to speech voice delivers, very clearly and plainly for those who need it, the moral of the story:

Don't kill yourself, you idiot

And some people need to hear that as unambiguously as possible. If I was 17 or 18, I would be one of those people. This song is literally going to save people's lives, I guarantee it. That's the kind of power I can only wish to reflect on the world if I ever get that big as an artist. Go listen to SMILE! :D and let me know what you think! Such a good album.

Hi! Due to that one extremely popular fan PV, EVERYONE thinks that Two-Faced Lovers by wowaka ft. Hatsune Miku is about teenage pregnancy and careless sex, and as someone who is very probably manic right now, I’m here to channel my manic energy into hopefully somewhat comprehensible ramblings about why you’re wrong and I’m right. 

So the basic literal story of our girl starts with waking up from a dream. She says that “Love” takes over, and continues on to spew out lines upon lines at rapid speed all about how her emotions are all over the place. On the pre chorus, we stop focusing on purely emotional and shift over to physical sensations, where in the chorus it all boils over to some striking imagery involving body parts.

It basically repeats the same thing over again with her consequences starting to sneak up on her, but she jumps back into that emotion and physical sensation nonetheless. The pre chorus and chorus play out straight, until the key shifts up and the chorus repeats and ends with the banging chant of “Love love love love--NO!”

So that’s our literal story. And many people will interpret the colorful physical sensations to be sex, and you’re not wrong the song is literally called Two-Faced Lovers, but I’m telling you that’s NOT ALL THERE IS TO IT.

Let’s start at the start, line by line!! 

“I woke up from a dream full of delight inside my head-space

A perplexing thing called Love took over, and then”

These are pretty self explanatory. The girl is brimming with happy emotions at a dream full of delight, and then an emotion they don’t understand and find perplexing - Love - takes control.

“I couldn't keep my heart-space from splitting in two

Never had the capacity to control it in the first place”

First of all what should be noted is that of the contrast between a “head-space” and a “heart-space.” Most simply, there’s a disconnect between the girl’s logic and the girl’s emotions.

The lines themselves further this theme of disorienting emotions, saying their heart-space has split in two. (This will be brought up again later.) The girl then acknowledges they couldn’t control it in the first place - this was bound to happen with her wild emotions.

“With my mostly naive theory of emotion somewhere in that spray of words

I was someway, somehow looking for a pair of eyes to find out where it's at--LIFE”

I cannot prepare you for the absolute RAWNESS of these lines. Firstly, the way they straight up just acknowledge that the way they connect with and conceive their emotions is naive and pathetic outright?? And they’re just spraying words out rapidly - they’re looking for the eyes that can even see where that theory of emotion is, where that meaning is, and then they just go, “Aw, shucks, that’s life son!” WOW. 

So the first verse sets our stage: an emotionally disoriented girl, trying to make sense of life. The next verse will add on to this by demonstrating the emotional confusion all of this intense emotion of Love is causing her.

“Every day is full of "why" did this, did that, but in the end, it's sayonara baby”

The first part, asking why they did this and that, is the nonsense that life has become with this emotion of Love plaguing her. Her life is nothing but questions, but in the end, all she’s doing is saying goodbye to another baby. Which like, you can interpret that to mean she’s getting another abortion which like perfectly demonstrates the consequences of her careless actions and fits with the theme, yeah, but also what about “baby” as in the pet name for a lover? What if the same line could have a double meaning of hopping from one love and life to another, saying sayonara, as soon as you blink twice?

“One side facing truth, one side running, my two-sided heart”

This is what I think the heart-space split in two is referencing. One side faces truth - one part of her heart is ready to be self-aware and accept what’s happening, the unhealthiness going on. But the other side runs away further into delusion - further into the madness - and such is the dilemma that our poor girl faces. People say listen to your heart, but which side of her heart does she listen to?

“Is there no good out there? I ask my topsy-turvy self

Inside myself, beside myself, insides turned inside out, ahhhh”

A question given out in utter desperation, sprung up by endless confusion and toil - is there any good to be found in the world? She acknowledges that she’s all over the place right now, before she falls apart completely, getting wrapped up in that emotion before we spring into the pre chorus.

“Just touching by instinct with nothing to say

Hurting, touching, gasping, feeling like I could climb to heaven”

Acting purely on instinct now with no thoughts running through her head, experiencing a whole breadth of human experience, using the phrase “like I’m in heaven.” The emotion of Love is taking control of her body and mind, she’s getting totally swept up in emotion.

“But I'm stuck going nowhere here and there”

She acknowledges that just for a second, this is leading her nowhere, that it’s all going towards disaster, but -

“Take that leap to the other side”

She submits anyway, giving into the whir of emotions, leading us into the chorus!

“Get head over heels in love, breathe from your diaphragm

Jump into a intense taste, front side, flip side, big as life

Force them together, stick them over your retinas

Just give yourself to love! Want-don't-want to see you--NO!”

The start and end of the chorus clarifies fully that she’s giving into the perplexing emotion of Love, even romanticizing it. Other parts of the chorus are vivid imagery of physical sensation - breathing from your diaphragm, sticking them over your retinas, jumping into an intense taste...The end of the chorus is a girl in conflict, does she go to see him or not? In the end she just says NO to it all!

Obviously this can be read as sex, but that’s not all it is. The sex is a metaphor, guys, I’m not crazy. Committing such a personal, intimate, beautiful act entirely on a whim - and facing the deadly consequences afterwards. That’s what this song is about. And the next iteration of the song proves that.

Not much has changed - our girl obviously hasn’t learnt her lesson. She’s still singing nearly the exact same lyrics! Our first key that something is off is that the dream is now full of misery. Then, the end of the verse shows us what’s wrong:

“Mostly vaguely innocent calamity strewn by my swollen ego

Telling me where I'm at, these words I think I've grasped”

She becomes self aware for just a flash about her ego - swollen - leading her to jump straight into scenarios that seem fun but end awfully, causing calamity and chaos in her life. All caused by her listening to her big ego about what to do - she thinks she’s finally starting to understand what’s happening, but she continues back into the same loop anyways… 

I honestly don’t think the second chorus needs a line-by-line breakdown. It’s just a show of how chaotic her life has become, she’s completely lost in the loop and even though she acknowledged before what’s happening she can’t stop it. Then, the key shift happens and the chorus repeats, with the iconic ending “Love love love love--NO!”

(Personally, I like to interpret the last “NO!” as her realizing the full consequences of her actions just as it’s a second too late. Teehee.)

All in all, this song isn’t about teenage pregnancy. That’s the most literal interpretation of the lyrics - a girl carelessly throwing herself into unsafe sex and getting the consequence of pregnancy. But why would she do these things? What’s the underlying message behind that? The sex is a metaphor, guys, I’m not crazy. 

This song is about, TO ME (I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY) getting caught up in a whirl of emotions, and bright-eyed naive you just gets swept up in them while you don’t fully understand them. Even though a part of you is aware of what's happening - and your actions are starting to come back to bite you in the ass - you still continue letting yourself get whirled up in this amazing delightful sensation, and then the consequences of your actions hit you full force. 

As someone with bipolar disorder, this song is just so highly relatable! And it’s why I’m so passionate about it not just being about teenage pregnancy, and instead something more. That amazing whirl of emotion that comes to you like a dream, that takes over your whole life, forces you into impulsivity, hypersexuality, and never thinking about the consequences of your actions. How a part of you wants to aim for recovery but the desire for manic energy nags at your heart, wanting to run deep into the madness. And you ignore the red flags and warning signs, but once everything’s said and done, you’re sat there staring at the horrid consequences of what you’ve done while swept up by mania.

Just to clarify, I am NOT saying this song is about mania. To me it’s about any old whir of emotion you get caught up in. But in the context of mania, it sure is fucking relatable!

carry on - chapter seven

another long chapter awaits! enjoy my lovelies!

okay, why did i just say yes to singing a bon jovi song in front of the whole of rome, italy for a convention. when the last time i sang in front of anyone it was maybe like, nearly a decade ago? and now, i was literally being cheered on because one of the fan questions from the actual convention was if i could sing a song at the orion club with louden swain and without thinking, i just said yes. i said yes because i have never once declined a fans question or refused to answer whatever it is they've asked. however, as of right now, i kinda wish my adrenaline rush wasn't so high otherwise, i maybe would have given that question to jensen, or even rob or rich. 

"...valencia, you ready sweetheart?" rob whispers as i huff out and nod my head, kinda thinking that if i wait any longer, it'll just become way worse

plus, it's better to just get it over and done with than wait any longer otherwise i'll never say i'm ready and i'll never end up doing it. besides, who knows, like jensen, i may end up enjoying it and end up doing this regularly. 

"as ready as i'll ever be, let's do it!" i giggled as the crowd cheered as did my fellow cast members, jensen, jared, misha, rob, rich, genevieve and my boyfriend alex being the loudest as i cheered again

louden swain started playing their instruments to the very familar, famous chords of wanted, dead or alive by jon bon jovi as i started to sing. only hoping that i sounded better than average. 

as i went through the first verse, i found myself getting more confident in myself and having fun with it as jensen then came on stage with a microphone. he had started to sing with me as i couldn't hide the smile on my face as we continued to rock it like it was the ninety's. 

"...cause i'm a cowboy, on a steel horse i ride. i'm wanted (wanted), dead or alive!"

in all honesty, maybe it was a good idea that i had agreed to answer that fan question as the entire time, i had noticed the girl, who had also come to this orion club that had asked the question at the panel, had been singing along and dancing the entire time jensen and i had been singing. it seemed as if although this is a song from the eighties and a favourite of mine growing up, it was also an important song for her as well which was the sweetest thing ever that she had asked me to sing it. 

looking over to alex, jensen and the rest of my castmates, i couldn't believe how much i loved this job that i've had since i was a kid. jensen and i were having the times of our lives on this stage whilst alex and the rest of the cast were so happy and having the time of their lives. jensen and i just kept on singing and bouncing around like we were in our twenties (well, i still was) and having the times of our lives at our favourite club whilst the audience and rest of our castmembers just laughed and sang along. 

"and i walk these streets, loaded six-string on my back. i play for keeps 'case i might not make it back. i've been everywhere, still i'm standing tall, i've seen a million faces and i've rocked them all," 

i sang as jensen then joined me for the chorus as we rocked n rolled together as everyone went crazy. 

"'cause i'm a cowboy, on a steel horse i ride, i'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive. 'cause i'm a cowboy, i got the night on my side and i'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive!" 

jensen and i sang as jensen then got the next part whilst i just stood back as i watched him also rock it on the stage with me as i couldn't hide the smile i had. the smile for the man who i could literally call one of my brothers. 

"and i ride (and i ride) dead or alive! i still drive (i still drive) dead or alive," 

jensen and i then sang the last four lives which were just dead or alive repeated those four times before we then waited for the big ending and we did the very big dramatic jump that was done almost every convention. or any song performance that required such energy as the legendary jon bon jovi exudes.

in all seriousness, singing has been a passion of mine ever since i could remember. i'm sure if you ever and i mean ever, ask jared, jackles, misha, alcal and everyone else on the set of supernatural, they will tell you, i am always singing no matter what. a dream of mine would be to for sure make a career out of my passion which is singing...so, should i take a break from supernatural and work on some covers, originals and put them on my spotify?

"yay, thank you!" jensen squeals as he pulls me in for a hug as i shake my head at his supposedly sober decisions 

"don't mention it, jackles," i sigh as he just laughs as we sit down on the couch as we watch alex and jared play fight on the other couch

Just watched the SNTY performance MV with Usher, which was also the first time I heard the remix. Usher's first verses were really good, but it all went downhill with "deeper than the rain, deeper than the pain" and everything else. His first verses fit the song really well and gave it a twist, but his delivery in the chorus zaps the passion and energy right out of the song. And he sings wayyy too much. He has more lines than Jungkook! Most of his adlibs were unnecessary too. They should've let Jungkook do the "deeper than the rain, deeper than the pain" verses by himself. Actually, I think Usher could've come in before the dance break as an outro or bridge, completing the song. It would've made the song "long" but removing JK's "Afterglow, leave your body golden like the sun and the moon" is just a crime.

Anyway, I thought it had potential and understood what people liked about it for 2.0 seconds, but they "let" Usher get carried away.

Now the performance... I don't know what people were saying on twitter about Jungkook finally dancing with someone on his level. it's not that Usher isn't on his level, I don't know anything about Usher's dancing tbh, but that was the weirdest performance. It's like he and Jungkook were doing one of those TikToks where someone dances at 50% and someone else dances at 100%. They were so mismatched, and the whole thing just made it look like Usher couldn't keep up with Jungkook. I do not get the point of them having different choreo, specially in that manner. Like, they had chemistry and looked good together, but the dancing was just not it... Why didn't they just create a new bit of choreo for the two of them or something? Instead, it just looked like Usher was doing the knee friendly, low impact version of STNY...

They both looked good though. JK pulled off that hair style. I'm kinda curious as to what he would look like wearing Usher's outfit.

The Locked Tomb and mewithoutYou pt. 1/17

The Venn Diagram of Locked Tomb readers and mewithoutYou fans is probably two circles not touching, but it should really probably be two overlapping circles, not only because mwY is my favorite band of all time, but also because, like TLT, mwY is filled to the brim with obscure literary/religious references, and the later albums in particular have the "I don't understand what's happening at all, but I love it" energy of TLT.

mewithoutYou is a hard band to describe, but one decent way is to place them somewhere in the post-hardcore and indie realm. Screaming vocals. Heavy guitars. But then there's the folk album about vegetables.

Anyway, first of all, there's that name. mewithoutYou. Ring any bells? I have to say I laughed at that line at the end of Gideon the Ninth because I knew it couldn't actually be a mwY reference, but last summer, mewithoutYou played their final tour and their final shows, so now there really is no "me without you" or "mewithoutYou." I read Gideon after all that, so funny haha for me.

Let me start off by giving you just one song and then I'll make more posts. Despite the fact that this is my favorite band, I try not to always be like "every piece of art that does religious things in a way I like is a mewithoutYou reference." This band isn't that well-known, except it's likely that your favorite band or artist likes them to some degree (e.g., Hayley Williams, boygenius).

This song is Harrow in her self-hatred era, which is always. These sections in particular stand out.

"You were like some sickness that I caught" to me sounds like something Harrow would absolutely think about Gideon.

(Oh, please, brother, I'm far... Brother, I'm far away... Brother, I'm far away from everything Oh, brother, I'm far... Brother, I'm far away... Brother! I'm far away from everything good!)

This part sounds like a desperate prayer, especially how it's performed. Ninth House loves prayers.

She's like a hot cloth on a fevered head And like a needle she leads me (while I follow like thread) Tie me up! Untie me! All this wishing I was dead is getting old It's gettin' old! ... it goes on, but it's old

This is the chorus and it just strikes me as part of Harrow's mental state for the entirety of Harrow the Ninth. "She" could be about Griddlehark. It could be Harrianthe.

Now we get to some really interesting images in the next verse.

I was swimming through the waves For what must have been days But could find no relief When I started sinking down I thought for certain I would drown Until I saw you in the ocean Underneath

The River. The River. The River and how the necromancer/cavalier relationship works in lyctorhood/near-lyctorhood.

You, my hidden pearl of pure and perfect love And I'm the living example Of 100% the opposite of this

Right in the Griddlehark feels, honestly.

This next part is actually what threw me on this train of "this series accidentally (probably) pairs with most of this band's discography." I was finishing Nona the Ninth the other night and got to this part.

The silly referential part of my brain said, "This sounds like a mwY reference." Two, actually, but this is the part from "Tie Me Up! Untie Me!" that goes.

(If I ask the same questions… Well, yes, sir, I ask the same questions Well, well maybe I repeat myself from time to time But if I ask the same questions… And then I know I ask the same questions It's because everyone who answers me is a liar!)

It's the last three lines in particular, and the "liar" part also works well in the context of this scene, where Nona is so frustrated and desperately trying not to remember anything. The way she's saying this as well matches the way this part of the song is performed (letting her voice rush out).

"We don't need it" pings my brain with a different line for a different song for a different post.

And then I'll just leave you with the last chorus.

This was such a fun ask to answer! It was a bit hard for some of the girls, as I felt they had fit in multiple eras, but I went with my gut and picked what I thought fit best with each girl. I did provide a bit of reasoning and fun, no harm intended commentary on each of my choices, so I hope you got your questions answered!

Yoohyeon - Fly High (Prequel)

Gonna be honest, it was between Fly High and You and I, but I had to go with Fly High because I like Fly High more

Her stage presence is immaculate this era - as it is every era, but I think she shines most in brighter concepts than darker ones.

I think the styling fits her the best this era

I just really like her voice on Fly High. I couldn't exactly tell you why, but I do tend to really enjoy her vocal performances on brighter songs.

I'll never forget the first time I watched this MV and saw Yoohyeon kill the spider with the magnifying glass - it was both traumatizing and iconic.

Siyeon - What (Alone In The City)

The way she sings the chorus is so addicting, and the chorus itself is super catchy too.

Like, her voice starts to sing the chorus and then I'm fully immersed in the atmosphere of the song.

I really like how she was styled this era!

I think this was the era that I started to notice how fantastic Siyeon's stage presence is

Ms. Lee Siyeon is one of the main reasons why I enjoy Wonderland so much - her voice and energy perfectly match the song. It's so hard to take your eyes off of her whenever they perform this song!

Dami - Scream (Dystopia: Tree of Language)

Ah, yes, the one everyone was waiting for LOL.

Her "Devil eyes come" part still has me in a firm chokehold, and I have to repeat that part multiple times before I can listen to the song like a normal person.

I also am being held in a chokehold by her Red Sun and Black or White raps, but I am not complain because those really are some of her best verses to date.

I really am in love with her hairstyle and hair color this era.

The styling for this era - for all of the promoted songs - really is some of the best styling for Dami in my opinion. I'm already a sucker for women in suits, but Dami's Red Sun dresses? Whew, that really helped place her in the ultimate bias spot. I'm not joking you - I have a picture of her in one of those Red Sun dresses as my home screen on my phone.

SuA - Boca (Dystopia: Lose Myself)

Okay, listen, I know I might get dragged for not putting Dami here but hear me out-

I love SuA's voice in the pre-chorus, it's so beautifully haunting - I love it!

Whoever decided that she should dance in the rain with wet hair and a soaked dress needs a raise ASAP-

The concept photos and outfits this era really play to SuA's visual strengths - her strong jawline really compliments the make-up and outfits they put her in.

'Too many angels dying now, I'm gonna change your mind~" Pure iconic-ness right there. Like the queen she is, SuA is lifted above all of us to show how good of a vocalist she really is. No further explanation needed, your honor, I rest my case-

Handong - Odd Eye (Dystopia: Road To Utopia)

My girl came back with a BANG, like my god-

Handong's chorus part plus her part in the bridge are some of the best parts in the song.

I liked the styling for Odd Eye, but whoever decided her outfits for Wind Blows also needs a big ol' raise

Iconic Handong Wind Blows Chorus + she sings part of the chorus and then leads part of the post-chorus dance break!

Hair color was immaculate on her - I hope she goes back to that color again, it so complimented her

Gahyeon - BEcause (Summer Holiday)

Red-haired idols have a chokehold on me, and yes, I know it is extremely unhealthy (part two)

Facial expressions, stage presence, and acting was on POINT by Gahyeon

Styling complimented her visuals a lot - the space buns and the dresses are my favorite styling this era for her

Gahyeon chorus part is so good and catchy - I always sing along to it!

Is a major part of the iconic intro choreo, and the outro choreo has her as the center AS SHE SHOULD BE-

*BONUS!* OT7 - Maison (Apocalypse: Save Us)

Is it here because they got their first and second win because of this song? Yes, absolutely, but I still have more reasons as to why this is my favorite OT7 era.

Handong has now joined the league of "red-haired idols have a chokehold on me, and yes, I know it is extremely unhealthy"

Jokes aside, this is my favorite OT7 era in terms of styling and hair colors/styling - Yoohyeon's cookies 'n cream hair (I don't know how else to describe it, but it's cool as hell), Gahyeon's short hair, and the white goddess-styled dresses were some of my favorite parts.

DAMI CENTER INTRO I REPEAT DAMI CENTER IN THE INTRO THIS IS NOT A DRILL PEOPLE-

Despite what a lot of people say, I think Maison is a complete bop - it's such an earworm, the chorus is so catchy, and that song has one of the best outros I've ever heard.

Group B-sides are fantastic - Locked Inside A Door is like a classic DC b-side to a T which makes it so good, Starlight is the song I've been waiting for them to make since I got into them and oh my goodness did they exceed my expectations tenfold, Together is so fun and bouncy - I definitely get why people say it's club music, and Always is a beautiful ballad that shows off their fantastic voices.

The solo songs were excellently crafted and perfectly showed off their personalities! I don't think I could pick a favorite even if you forced me to - there's too many interesting, catchy, and excellent parts of each song that makes them incomparable to each other (at least to me)

TW One-Shot: The Spider and Snow White

Context: for the psst few days, me and a few friends began joking about a Crack ship between two-faced!Neige and Anansi. And just like usual, my shipping but actually began to like the idea of the ship. So here's a one shot about it, hope y'all like it!

Laughter echoed throughout the white gold room as Neige and Anansi interacted with the chat. Teasing and playfully flirting with Neige's fans as the pair didn't exclude the other in this either. In slight jabs, and quick teases, the two little shits teased and messed with the other. A slight poke here, a tickle there, and haughty look there were each thrown back and forth. But both parties knew they couldn't go too far, it was the internet after all. And after a while, suddenly a bright blare of snow white's hum blasted from the laptop as Neige ooed at the donation.

"Ah, thank you so much for the 50 madool Donation Skele-mom67, it truly means the world to me~ heheh" Neige gave a closed eyes smile as a rush of "awwwws" filled the chat, while snickering Anansi poked Neige's cheeks, shifting a playful look at the prince beside him as he finished the message, giving the chat a faux valley girl accent.

"Hey Neige~ love your work, you're sooo, adorable, but I was wondering could you and your "prince" sing a song together? Againthsbkyiusomuch" giving a friendly smile to the camera, Neige swatted Anansi's hands from his cheeks as he giggled

"Heheh, well thank you for calling me adorable dear, it's very appreciated. And as for a song, hmm, that sounds fun, what do you think Nansi?" Quipped the prince, to the resting spider, gifting the camera a fanged smirk, Anansi shrugged

"Sure I'm up for it, although~" he sang leaning forward winking to the chat, Anansi held a hand next to his mouth as he loudly whispered "I don't think Neige could handle it, ya know all the flirting would keep him from finishing the song dearie" at the whispers, Neige pouted as soon it transferred into a sharp smirk only Anansi could see, as in moments Neige whispered into Anansi's ear in a sly tone.

"I bet i'd get you to blush before i do, little spider~" he teased sweetly

"Oh-ho? Try me dough boy, give me all ya got~ but don't complain if you're in this "lil' spiders" web again~"

"Heheh, oh i doubt I will, hope you enjoy being number 2 dear~"

"Careful princey, fly too close to web and you'll get caught. But sure, let's go!"

Reaching into his pocket, Anansi took out a "borrowed" black-blue phone and played a karaoke version of the song as the chat began to blow up in hype.

Chuckling and bobbing his head to the music, Anansi's red orbs closed, while moments later, a silky melody escaped his pursed lips "Oohh~dada-oh-da-oohh," a creak sounded as Neige leant forward in his chair, he knew the spider could song, but still, each time that melody soared, he felt a chill down his spine, his little spider wasn't going to make this an easy bet hm? He thought, and right as that thought echoed, a feathery touch brought him from his mind. The hand, although coarse, held so much warmth, and with them both being in camera, he had to give his fans a show.

So leaning into the hand, Neige fluttered his eyes shyly, watching the comments go crazy with excitement as Nancy continued on, getting closer and closer with every verse,

"The very first time that I saw your brown eyes~" lifting up his head, Neige went with the song, and gazed lovingly at Anansi, ready to see just what his prince had in store for him. And just like that, the gap between the was closed on seconds, as the spider leant forward. Touching their heads together, slick black locks met kinky dreads as the heat between the two filled the small gap as the lyrics drifted on,

"your lips said "hello," and I said "Hi"~ I knew right then you were the one~ " at this, the actor felt their lips brush with every lyric, and despite all this, Neige hid his smirk and teased the spider with an eye roll. Tell me that's not all you have dear~ his eyes said, but in a second a rapid verse dissipated that tease

"But I was caught up!" Rapidly, Anansi yanked the prince towards him, twirling him to rest his back against the spider, while his drifted across his jaw, while Anansi smirked against his ear, his fangs tickling his love while the melody continued, as once more, Neige went with the music. Leaning his head back, gifting the spider an easier angle as the two gazed at the fans in the chat, exploding and typing frantically with energy, only fueling them both even more. "In physical attraction~"

"Oooh~" hummed Neige

"But to my satisfaction~" meeting Neige's face, the two leant forward once more, both smiling as the song continued on as Nancy turned up Neige's chin, only for the actor to whisper "well, aren't you handsy today, my prince~" as Nansi replied

"but, baby you were more than just a face~ And if I e-(N:ever) fall in love" now straddling Anansi, Neige and him sang together, Anansi's baritone intertwined with Neige's tenor in a beautiful vibrato

Duet: Again~

Anansi: I will be sure that, the lady is a friend~

Anansi: And if I eeee-

Neige: (ever fall)

Anansi: in love again~ I will be sure that the lady is a friend(x2)

As the chorus reached its last notes, Anansi couldn't shake the pater in his chest, nor could he get rid of the wide grin he got from the last verse

Anansi: and if I ever fall in love so true~, I will be sure that, the lady's just like you~

As the words left his mouth a scarlet eyes met brown, and for the briefest of moments. Despite the teasing grins and the grounds of the bet, Neige and Anansi both felt a spark that usually only showed up behind closed doors when their masks are off. But with the show having to continue, Neige used this spark, and truthfully smiled lovingly at Anansi, cupping his brown face in his pale hands, giving his prince a truly loving smile as Anansi finished his last verse, wrapping his arms around Neige's waist, gifting him the same.

"I swear that next time, they'll be~ a friend" the note drew out like a whisper on a breeze, as if it was a real promise. Nodding to his words, Neige took in a breath, nearly singing in a whisper as he rested his head against Anansi, as his rosey lips parted into,

"If I said that I, can be your one and only~" gulping, Neige sang "promise that you'll never leave me lonely~ I just wanna be the one you need" as the sound vibrated, Neige rested his arms in Anansi's neck as the spider mutters something illegible. But what was easy to see, with a smile gracing his lips. Neige kept on, "I just wanna be the one who serve- (A:serves you~) and now once again, their voices melded together in a fusion of want and emotion. As now, despite themselves, through this song, it was as if the two spilled their hearts to one another with every note

Duet: Sometimes i feel as if I don't deserve you~

Closing his eyes, Neige kept going, leaning even more against the spider, their chests meeting as he sang out, nearly kissing Anansi with how close they were, a scent of apples and spice wafted between the two as their heads rested together.

Neige: I Cherish every that we share~ And if I e-(A: Ever fall) In love again~ I will be sure that, the lady is, a frieeend!" As Neige held out the note, every E flowed up an octave, cascading down Anansi's back like a waterfall, gifting him a chill this time, but As well, the spider also viewed it as a challenge, amd so, knowing what notes came next, he prepared his voice for what was to come. Lightly pushing Neige away, the two continued to sing.

Neige: and if I e-(A: Ever fall) In love, so true~ I will be sure that(sure that) The lady(the lady's) like you~

As Neige sang, a low "my friend" raised up more and more, every lyric that Neige sang, the louder and higher, and longer the note became. The second my friend eclipsed the first, and after that, Anansi got so high, he approached the limit of a baritone, and with the final my friend, he let it run out, no longer able to keep it going that high for so long, as in the chat, and as well in Neige's eyes, there was a look of shock at those notes, as now, all that was left to do was ride the song out.

And as the lyrics reached their ends, but by bit, both of the students got closer once more, until their voices were nothing but a whisper, as finally their lips once again brushed together, and with one peak to the chat, both saw one message that flooded the stream.

"KISS!" and so, not wanting to disappoint their viewers, and sealing each of their promises, the two students kissed, as both their faces burnt bright red. Seems like this bet was a draw after all.
