I’m over here hoping that the Tomb Raider cartoon on Netflix gets a lot of attention because it’s made by the same people/in the same universe as the Skull Island cartoon (also on Netflix; awesome show btw) and I desperately want a season 2 😭

(warnings: blood/mild gore, implied child death (and murder in Cassidy's case), eye contact. maybe also bright colors/eyestrain)
Some Updated Refs For The Afton Family In The Rewrite
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(you know the drill, click the images to see details better and whatnot)
hooo boy. give me a minute to ramble about the designs and stuff below -
William:
so. tried to give him both "Eccentric, Goofy Restaurant Owner" and "REALLY Off-Putting" Vibes. hope i succeeded
yes he's hiding a knife behind his back.
bunny features. i Love William with bunny features. if you draw William with Bunny Features ily (platonically)
this man has not gotten a good night's sleep in Years.
now...you may be wondering: Why Do His Kids Get Refs For When They're Older, But Not Him? well...that's because, physically, he doesn't change much besides getting some more gray hairs and worse eye bags in the over a decade between his original murders and his death. and i've already done a ref for what O'Hare/Springtrap looks like in my design
yes, the Unhinged look in his eyes is intentional.
Alex:
gave his younger self a pose that was meant to give off "rebellious teenager" vibes, and his older self a pose that gives off "bitter and anxious" vibes.
gave him long hair. because Yes.
tallest of his siblings.
Michael:
looks like his father, but with a few minor changes: skin is mildly more tanned than his father, hair is a lighter shade of brown, etc.
William based the 1987 uniforms for the guards/employees off of his own usual outfit (Purple. which Backfired).
Mike tried to change his hair a bit to distinguish himself from his father, mostly by dying it a bright red and trying to cut the Bunny Ear-Shaped parts on the top of his hair to be more jagged and less Bunny-Like.
scars on his arm are from where Springtrap grabbed onto him.
Evan:
not much to say. bookworm, sad guy, probably needs to go to therapy for what happened in his childhood.
Elizabeth:
Bunny Features :]
she's basically somewhere between blonde and ginger hair color wise. i'd describe her as a strawberry blonde.
constantly has a wide-eyed look. like a hare.
mismatched socks, just because she could.
ghosts are typically either desaturated or transparent, with the only bright colors on them are usually their eyes or the bloody wounds from their death.
so while it's not shown here, "fun" fact! Liz died from where Harriet (Circus Baby) hugged her hard enough to break not just her spine, but her neck as well. (the hug was so strong due to Harriet malfunctioning that day)
all ghosts who have their souls tied to an animatronic have a mask of that animatronic that they can wear if they wish. Liz's mask is of Harriet.
Cassidy:
my baby boy. my beloved <3
those pants are pajama pants. he wore them everywhere.
while not visible, Cassidy also wears mismatched socks like Liz.
the Fredbear plush was a gift from Henry, given to Cassidy by Charlie.
was blind in one eye after The Bite.
The Bite wasn't as horrible as people think it was. what basically happened was that the teeth bit slightly into his head, which caused the bleeding, as well as some cracking in the skull and brain damage in his frontal lobe. due to the mechanisms in Fredbear being Very hot as well, it caused some burns. nothing that couldn't heal, but...it Was still pretty serious.
while The Bite itself didn't kill Cassidy, he still, as a ghost, appears to have a bleeding section of his head.
the strangulation marks on his neck are more visible as a ghost.
Cassidy, as a spirit, can occasionally leak a mysterious black fluid from his eyes and mouth, which is reflected on his Mask.
Cassidy is transparent as a ghost.
anyway!! here's the guys!!

whike I mentally prepare myself to make a whole damn comic, it's time I talk about the FNAf movie because fuck you I am going to write what I want
cw: spoilers for the FNAF movie!!
At base value, I loved it. I felt the pacing was a little slow, but I love it. From the little refs to the games, to the in general plot, it was just very enjoyable, even if most of the plot is just from the fact Vanessa didn't tell Mike wtf was going on.
NOW! let's talk technical!
For a pg-13, it was pretty good! I feel it matches the games really well! It's not too scary, but it can give you a startle, especially to any newbie! My mom was startled by the balloon boy lmao. Also it had blood so it's a plus.
The acting, dialogue, and overall set is really good. Scrumptious if I do say so myself.
I loved how the animatronics looked. Freddy and chica being my overall favorites. Idk they made my boy Bonnie blue so I had to take a few points. The cupcake running around was weirdly funny to me lol.
Now lemme touch on the plot!
I liked the plot! Like I said before, it was a LITTLE slow, but nothing too bad. I found it really interesting with what they did with Micheal and the whole dream thing.
And the idea that the children communicate in pictures rather than words hit me pretty hard, because that how I myself communicate. Although I can be.. pretty good with my words, drawing, and art as a whole is relatable to me, making Abby a really relatable character to me.
I really don't understand the hate for the movies bc it's not lore accurate. So what??? A lot of movies based on games don't! I mean- look at the Sonic the hedgehog movie!! Or the Mario movie! So your point is invalid. And also- I'm pretty sure this is a lot more entertaining than watching Micheal do five nights at Freddy's smhhh.
Though I'm sitting here in complete wonder bc like- WHO WAS THE 5TH KID?! WE SEE HER IN THE PICTURES!!! BUT- IS IT CASSIE?? OR CHARLIE MAYBE?! IDK
Also what happened to Derek I need to know.
Did he get turned into a animatronic what the fuck happened to him
Anyway
Let's talk about the cons of the movie.
I keep bringing this up, but the movie was slow. Not unbearably slow, but still slow.
Also, the whole aunt subplot- idk I felt it wasn't really needed except for the mat pat scene (he fucking embraced that scene it was great the theater I was in started cheering and I had to explain to my mom why everyone was so happy)
Also I felt the one major jumpscare we get, of foxy, was waisted. It looked like he was rolling into the security guard on roller blades. I would have liked it if maybe foxy like jumped at the guard or something. Idk just a me thing
I also feel the 'i always come back' line was rushed, same with shaggy's- sorry I mean WILLIAM'S death. It didn't really feel satisfying ig?
also, I felt that Vanessa was more of a plot device than a character. Because most of the plot literally is riding on the fact she doesn't tell Mike the truth.
But anyway
What would I rate this movie, and should you watch it?
I give it a 8/10. It's fun, and nostalgic for old FNaF fans, and a fun intro to new ones. Go check it out

🐻❔
Headcanon game!
Thanks for the ask!!! Just prefacing this saying that I’m a relatively very new FNAF (the videos games, I don’t know much of anything about the book universe) fan! These are just random ideas I have :)
🐻❔Mrs. Emily- Ohh boy this is a character I honestly don’t have a ton of headcanons for yet! I didn’t even think of a name for girly. BUT I once saw somebody use the name ‘Hazel’ for Mrs. Emily and I like that one a lot!! Hmm I can’t explain why, but I totally headcanon Henry as gay LOL right, so my HC is that…he’s in denial for some time about this, gets with a woman, and said woman ends up getting pregnant. Because of this, getting married feels like an obligation to them, I guess. But I HC that the two separated a few years later because Henry was very unhappy and he knew that he wasn’t making his wife happy either. I TOTALLY HC that leading up to the divorce, he’d tell his wife (I guess I’m calling her Hazel now!) that he’d “be at work late” when in reality he was at the bar drinking with William after work and venting about how nervous and unhappy he was…ummmmmmmmm Mr. Emilyyyyy lying like that is not good !!! :( he did not feel good about it tho. Honestly I feel like she got the vibe that he didn’t like the ladies. I HC that after the divorce they’re not on bad terms, it’s just a little awkward. Idk! My headcanon is that Henry loved Charlie more than anything in the world, and hey, Hazel was happy that he was a very loving father to her. There’s that at least lmaooo
❓Sammy Emily: AHHhhhh I’m gonna be so real with you, I got nothin :( I’m so sorry Sammy I’m sure you’re a wonderful kiddo- but I’m like, a person who knows absolutely nothing about the books 😅 when I was like formulating my own interpretation/understanding of fnaf’s lore and characters from the video games I totally didn’t know that Sammy existed so to lowkey just. Retconned him unknowingly so ahh SORRY, SAMMY :’0
🎭Charlie Emily: CHARLIEEE ohhh I love her! I randomly headcanon that she was about 7-ish when she died, but honest to god that is just the first random age that popped into my head. I feel like she’s a rough-n-tough little kid, like a little tomboy. She LOVES being outside, she looooves exploring, she loves being independent and doesn’t understand why she can’t just go exploring alone all the time!! (We later see what happens when she um. Wanted to explore alone at night one time. I’m so sad ). Type of kid to collect rocks and bugs and enjoys playing in the mud and. Man I feel like she either played baseball or soccer. Idk, I just feel like she would
I LOVE to think that she’s fascinated by her dad’s robots! Whenever she gets to go to the workshop with him, she’s fuckin trilled. She peaks her head up over the big desk and just watches with stars in her eyes :’) Henry picking her up and letting her get a closer look at the animatronics-
“Pretty cool, huh kiddo?”
“Uhh YEAHH!!!”
Charlie loves to make people laugh, especially her dad! She loves both of her parents, of course, but she’s a daddy’s girl at heart. Her dad is cool because he lets her eat pizza for breakfast and they stay up late watching movies on the weekends.
I feel like she’s besties with Elizabeth, I just am obsessed with this idea. She likes Evan but they don’t talk a lot, since I feel like Evan was a pretty quiet kiddo. She really likes Mike tho, she views him like her cool older “cousin” :)
Her favorite color in the whole wide world of GREEN. She probably begs her dad to paint her bedroom green. Since I feel like she’s such an outdoorsy kid, maybe green reminds her of nature!
AhhhHh mannnnn. I need a good timeline AU because I love this kiddo. Charlie you’re a real one, sorry your dad’s best friend was a freak

Hi love! I had an idea for a fluffy fic—either Steve or Eddie (your choice) scoring a date with long-time crush female!reader. He’s trying to plan the perfect date (favorite flowers, candy, etc) with the help of the kids (Dustin, Max, Lucas, & Mike). Thank youuuu xoxo -@munson-blurbs 💚💚
Hello, dearest Bug! I’ve never written for Steve before but I wanted to try it just for you! So, I apologize if it’s not the best, but I hope you like my attempt at a nervous Steve ❤️
Words: 2.3k
Tumblr media
Subtle wasn’t exactly Steve’s middle name. He didn’t tip toe around subjects as much as stomp right to the point he was trying to avoid. So he knows that when he finally, finally, has the courage to ask you out, and you say yes, he knows he needs to enlist some help.
“I can’t believe you needed me to talk you into asking her out,” Robin says. “Since when is Steve Harrington afraid to ask a girl on a date?”
“This was different, Robin, you know that.” He grabs his time card and punches out for the day. “She’s not some girl who wandered into the store who I can casually ask out. I’ve been friends with her for years, and in love with her just as long!”
“How have you never asked her out before?” Robin muses as she goes through a pile of returned videos.
“When we met she had a boyfriend so I couldn’t do it then. After they broke up I was already too deep, so I was nervous.”
“I’d say I can’t picture that, but I saw you moments before you asked her out. Nervousness is not a good look on you, my friend,” Robin says.
“Thanks, you’re helping me out a lot,” Steve says as he slides his jacket on.
“Make good choices!” Robin calls as he walks out the door.
Steve gets in his car and taps his fingers along the steering wheel. The darkness outside made it feel later than it was. Winter making the days shorter, Steve felt like he’d need a date idea for something that could be done in the evening. It left out picnics and going to the park, which were some of his usual go-to date ideas.
He puts his car into drive and goes to the last place he thought he’d ever go for dating help.
Tumblr media
“You what?” Dustin asks.
“Need your help,” Steve says through gritted teeth.
“With a date?” Dustin wasn’t trying to mess with him, just make sure he was understanding correctly.
“Yeah, man,” Steve says. “It has to be amazing.”
“Well, what do you want me to do?” Dustin asks. He watches from his place on the couch as Steve paces back and forth in front of him.
“Do you have any thoughts?” Steve asks.
“You do know most of my dates happen over a communication device, right?”
“Jesus Christ, Henderson, this is the last time I come to you for help.”
“Wait, wait,” Dustin says, holding up a hand. “She likes that one old movie they’re always playing down at the theater. Remember, she was upset because Charlie wouldn’t take her there?”
“He was an idiot,” Steve mumbles.
“You’re biased because you were in love with his girlfriend, but you’re still right. Total douche.”
“I don’t even know the name of that movie,” Steve whines, running his hands down his face.
“So ask Mike,” Dustin says with a shrug.
Steve stops his pacing and looks at Dustin, narrowing his eyes at the boy.
“Because he knows every movie ever made?”
“No, genius, because he just started working at the theater,” Dustin says.
“Shit, that’s right,” Steve says. He glances over at the clock. “He won’t be asleep right now, will he?”
“It’s eight thirty and we’re not toddlers,” Dustin says. “Yes, he’s awake.”
“Let’s go,” Steve says, clapping his hands at Dustin. “Move it, move it.”
“Why do I have to come?” Dustin complains even as he grabs his shoes.
“Because I said so, now let’s go.”
Tumblr media
“You know, we could’ve called,” Dustin says as Steve pulls his car into the Wheeler’s driveway.
“Yeah, well, next time,” Steve says as he kills the engine and gets out of the car.
“Next time?” Dustin asks as he follows after him.
Steve rings the doorbell and it takes a few moments for Karen Wheeler to answer it. She looks surprised to see Steve there.
“Hi, Mrs. Wheeler,” he says.
“Hello,” Dustin adds with a wave.
“Hi, boys,” Karen says. “Are you here for Nancy?”
“Mike, actually,” Steve says.
“Okay.” Karen looks down at her watch before looking back up at the boys on her porch. “Make it quick, okay? School night and all.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Steve says with a polite smile.
“In the basement,” Karen says, hooking her thumb over her shoulder.
“Thanks!” Dustin calls as he leads Steve in that direction.
As soon as the door to the basement opens, they can hear Mike arguing with someone. Halfway down the stairs, Lucas’s voice rings back.
“No, it’s not. Why won’t you just listen to me? I’ve had a girlfriend longer than you have.”
“Yeah, and how many times have you guys broken up?”
“But we always get back together, don’t we?”
Steve rolls his eyes as his foot hits the basement floor. Is this really what his dating life has come to? Asking for the help of these squabbling children?
“Alright, break it up,” Dustin says.
“What’re you doing here?” Mike asks.
“Romeo needs some help,” Dustin says, nodding his head in Steve’s direction.
“From us?” Lucas asks, raising his eyebrows.
“I know, I’m stunned too,” Steve says with a sigh. “Listen, what’s the name of that old movie the theater plays some weekends? The black and white one? With that one actress?”
“Very specific,” Dustin mumbles, earning a glare from Steve.
“You mean Marilyn Monroe?” Mike asks, judgment dripping in his tone.
“Yeah, her,” Steve says, only getting more annoyed by the second.
“It’s called Some Like It Hot. Why?”
“Why do you think?” Dustin asks with a smirk.
Mike thinks for a minute before his own smirk slides across his face.
“Ah,” he says. “That big date of yours, huh?”
Steve groans, running a hand over his mouth and silently wondering why he became friends with any of these little punks in the first place.
“Why didn’t you just call Max?” Lucas asks.
“What?”
“You know they’re, like, best friends, right?” Lucas says. “She’s the person to ask.”
Steve walks over to the basement phone and dials Max’s number. A look of amusement is shared between the three younger boys at seeing how nervous and twitchy Steve is.
“Max? Hey.”
“Steve?” Her voice sounds disbelieving.
“Yeah,” Steve says in the same tone one would say “duh.”
“What do you want?” It doesn’t come out harsh, just curious about the unexpected call.
“I need your help,” Steve says.
“With?”
“With my geography homework, what do you think?”
“Why does he go with sarcasm?” Lucas mumbles from over on the couch. “Does he not know Max can out-sarcasm everyone?”
Steve hears and flips him the bird.
“Oh,” Max purrs as she realizes. Steve swears these kids know just the right way to push his buttons. “And what information can I provide you with, Steve?”
“Just…anything,” Steve says in an exasperated tone. “I just want it to be perfect.”
Max is taken aback by the sincerity in his voice. This wasn’t Steve’s usual approach with a girl, and it impressed the redhead.
“It’s supposed to snow this weekend,” Max says. “She loves the snow. Take her out then.”
“Okay,” Steve says, nodding his head. “What’s her favorite flower?”
“I don’t know,” Max says. “Believe it or not, that’s not something we girls really talk about at our sleepovers.”
“Well, can you find out?”
“Sure,” Max says with a sigh. “Anything else you’d like me to find out, stalker?”
“Um.” Steve bites at his lower lip as he thinks. “Favorite candy I can buy her for the movie?”
“What movie?” Max asks.
“Someone’s Hot or something like that,” Steve says, shaking his head.
“Some Like It Hot?” Max asks. “Yeah, she’ll love that. Okay, I’ll talk to her at school tomorrow.”
“But don’t let her know I asked you!” Steve says.
“Relax. Some of us know how to be subtle,” she says.
“Thanks, Max.”
Max’s eyebrows raise as she’s not sure he’s ever said that to her before. He’s being weird about this whole thing, she thinks. But it’s a good weird. Different from just going on date after date with girls he doesn’t really care about. Max is impressed, though she would never tell him that.
“Don’t mention it.”
Tumblr media
Steve leans against the hood of his car in the Hawkins High parking lot the next day, biting at his thumb nervously. He perks up when the bell rings and looks for the familiar flash of red hair in the crowd. She’s walking with El when she catches sight of Steve. Steve sees her say goodbye and head in his direction.
“You look like a creep waiting here, you know,” she tells him.
“You’re funny,” he deadpans.
Dustin, Mike, and Lucas come up to the car before Steve can ask her for any information.
“Am I driving all of you? Really?” Steve asks.
“You’re here,” Dustin answers with a shrug, as if that makes the answer obvious.
“Fine, get in. Max up front.”
Dustin whines about that, but Max just sticks her tongue out at him and climbs in the car.
Steve waits until he’s gotten out of the parking lot and into the heart of Hawkin’s suburbs before he asks.
“So? Get anything?”
“Of course I did,” Max says. “Sour Patch Kids and sunflowers.”
Steve nods, commiting the items to memory.
“How’d you do it without telling her why?” Mike asks.
“It’s easy,” Max says with a shrug. “Oh, by the way, did you hear they’re changing the flavor of the red Sweetart?”
“They’re what?” Dustin asks, affronted. “But that’s the best one!”
“It could’ve been worse, they could’ve changed the green,” Lucas says.
“Ugh, gross,” Mike complains. “The green one is shit. Orange is by far the best.”
Max smirks to herself and crosses her arms over her chest.
“And that’s how it’s done.”
Steve glances his eyes over at her and nods his head, impressed.
“You’re good.”
Tumblr media
Everything was all planned out. The small bouquet of sunflowers, the bag of Sour Patch Kids in his pocket, and the weather decided to cooperate as well so there’s a lovely light snow falling outside. Steve picks out an outfit - after enduring teasing from Dustin by saying “you want us to do that for you too?” - of dark jeans with a soft gray sweater, topped with a light brown coat. He keeps raking his fingers through his hair, making sure every little piece falls exactly where he wants it to. Once he’s satisfied, he picks up the flowers and candy and heads out the door.
His hands are starting to sweat by the time he pulls up in your driveway. He gets out of the car and rings your doorbell, fidgeting with a button on his coat. You open the door and Steve feels the breath knocked out of him. Your smile, your eyes, your everything drove him wild. He would never get used to your beauty.
“Hi,” you say.
“Hey.” It comes out shakier than he intended and he internally curses himself. “These are for you.”
Your eyes light up when they land on the flowers and Steve knows he can die a happy man for putting that look on your face.
“They’re beautiful,” you say. “Thank you so much. Do you want to come in while I put them in a vase?”
“Sure,” he says. You step aside so he can come into the house, and close the door behind him. He follows you into the kitchen and his eyes roam over the interior as you fill a vase with water.
“These are my favorite,” you say of the sunflowers as you slip them in the water. You come over and press a kiss on Steve’s cheek, which just about sets him into a tailspin.
“Ready?” you ask.
“Yeah,” Steve says with a smile. He slips his hand in yours as you walk to the front door together. You gasp in delight as you step outside, looking up at the snow falling around you.
“I thought maybe I could park a block or two away from the theater so we can walk in the snow for a bit?” Steve says as he opens the passenger door for you.
“Oh, I would love that.”
The car ride is quick, but you fall into an easy back and forth, something you’re both familiar with after being friends so long. Steve was afraid he’d be too nervous to act like his normal self, but five minutes with you in the car and he feels as comfortable as ever.
He parks the car and you're quick to take his hand in yours as you walk towards the theater.
“Oh, I got you these as well,” Steve says, fishing the candy out of his pocket with his free hand.
“Steve! You’re spoiling me.” You slip the package into your own pocket and stop walking, holding Steve’s hand in place so he’s forced to stop too.
“Everything okay?” He looks at you in concern.
“It’s perfect,” you tell him. “All of it. But you know I would’ve just been happy spending time with you, right? Anywhere. Doing anything.”
Part of him knew that, but it didn’t mean he didn’t want to give you everything he could to make your first date special.
“I wanted to do this for you,” he says. “You deserve to be treated like a princess.”
The blush that coats your cheeks, Steve thinks, is the cutest thing he’s ever seen.
“How are you real?” you say, reaching up to poke the tip of his nose. He chuckles and squishes up his nose adorably. He can’t believe you’re the one saying that to him.
His fingers come to grip your chin lightly and he tilts your face up. Looking into your eyes for permission, he leans in until his lips ghost over yours. You lean in the rest of the way, arms coming up around his neck as your lips meet. Cold noses bump together which makes you giggle against his mouth. He smiles in response and rests his forehead against yours.
“How’d you know I always wanted to be kissed in the snow?” you ask.
“I didn’t,” Steve tells you honestly. “Guess I figured that one out on my own.”

What do you think of Charlie and Mike? Liek, how do see them separately and them being together?
Hi! Great question! Haha! So I'll be honest with you!
Tumblr media
In comes with seeing them as individual characters :
To Charlie, when the first time I saw them (UWO: CHAPTER 5) I already knew this character would grow on me in a way that I won't stop talking about them 24/7 ((Shout out to my Girlfriend who will hear me- talk about Charlie non-stop at most random times..))
I do think Charlie is a Fun character during those times. And what I adore about them the most are the expressions throughout the game (UWO) there's just something into it that pulled me into liking Charlie more than the others (probably because of how crazy they look)- Finding CIU in the Play Store is gives me excitement as I started saying stuff like: "Ehh?? there's a part two?? no way" and of course like every simple minded person- I installed it (lmao)
Finishing the game, I felt that the game had more holes that needed to be covered. But later on, I found out that the game was rushed due to the contract being over, so it's understandable- I'm just thankful that the game was released and not canceled, haha!
But anyways!!! CIU honestly showed me another side of Charlie that I never truly expected. Knowing that side of Charlie just made me love their whole character even more ((even other players not very fond of it))
And to Mike:
Oh, Mike that silly-looking boy. At first, I never really paid attention to him like every other person does since he probably only had 10?) or a bit more dialogue. But he soon grew on me as I kept replaying the game to get the other endings alongside the other achievements, which came with the Fanarts of him and Charlie together. ((those fan arts pushed me so now my entire works only revolve around them, not that I'm complaining or anything:]]] ))
In full honesty. I feel bad about what happened to him like Broo got one of his eyes taken out! it probably confused the crap out of him since neither of them expected it to happen- and I bet it hurt like a b***
((i know, since i almost got one of my eyes taken out by my nephew during my 13's the knife tip didn't meet my eye and i am glad that get to dodge it- but still side of my eye still bleed so not Gucci))
Overall I view Mike as an interesting character whom we need information other rather than "Charlie's friend" not to mention.
We also need a piece of information as to what might happen to him after the Eye-stabbing incident. He's friendly towards other students. He is your typical Social Butterfly. I swear he has the energy of that college senior who will approach a lost Freshman then them out on the whole campus and later check up on them during the first week.
And to the question of how I more likely see them together :
Charlie and Mike are together like a pair you'll never expect to work. Both have their strengths and weaknesses but can still make things look easy. Let's put it away like they are doing a collaboration project together. Who knows? They can defend the whole research together or by themselves as if precisely doing it isn't all nerve-wracking.
However, if you meant that question as "both in a romantic atmosphere"
Then I can tell you how Charlie and Mike won't realize their growing feelings. Mike will probably catch into it one day, as a sudden realization hits him that leaves to say something like:  "Holy F- I'm catching feelings for Charlie-Charlie..."  out of the blue.
However, he would most likely push those feelings aside. He knows to himself that Charlie doesn't need to be with anyone else who needs the teen to be in a romantic setting. He might never say it by word. Mike respects his friend's boundaries and is careful towards the teen, always checking if Charlie's all right with doing things that are out of the teen's personal preferences.
They are taking things slow since Charlie doesn't like fast turns and somewhat still needs to get used to slowly opening themself out to the world.
For Charlie, if they realize. I guess it will take them a long to come to terms with it and most likely keep it to themselves like Mike's since they aren't sure if the feelings are true or if it is just a mutual thing since it is only Mike who put an effort into knowing and understanding them.
((I think they can be great in a slow-burn side of writing))
That's all of it! I hope I gave you the answer you're looking for Anon!

DROP CATCF HEADCANONS
Okay…..Okay….Okay….omg where do I start…..
I think I’ll try going by character???
Charlie:
…Gay. I know what you are sir. This man likes MEN. (I’m pretty sure a majority of people headcannon this…but whatever)
Charlie and Matilda (the one from the Jr.) are childhood besties and have been friends since kindergarten——he met James about a year later.
Perfect cinnamon roll. Literally can do NO WRONG…and thats to A FAULT.
Goody-two-shoes—-need I say more?
Listens to songs from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s on record because his family has quite a bit of records.
The shortest (height-wise) of the group…I’m not sure-this one just feels right. (Like…maybe 5”4 or 5”5? He’s pretty short)
Also, definitely the youngest of the group…12 MAX at the time of the tour (I headcannon he was 10 during the main events of the story)
Became interested in Wonka through Grandpa Joes stories about working there
Loves his grandparents stories about their lives in general (despite Grandpa Joe’s being his favorites)
Gets in a relationship with James in the future (Implied in a previous post)
NEVER…and I mean…NEVER curses. The worst curse word to ever come out of him was “gee-willikers”
Mom friend/therapist friend of the group.
Oh…also the——matchmaker of the group…yeah…somehow this little guy got all of his friends together and HE doesn’t even know how it happened.
Violet:
Lesbian. WOMAN LOVER.
Was…actually pressured into gum chewing by her parents. I mean, just listen to any of her songs from the musicals…it’s pretty obvious.
Broke multiple Guinness World Records…her most notable, of course, being able to chew a singular piece of gum for a total of five months…yikes.
Despite being a “professional gum chewer”…she doesn’t actually care much for candy. It’s not like she down right DESPISES it, like Mike…but still.
If we’re talking modern au (not in the 70s or the early 2000s), she would absolutely be into Billie Eilish and AViVA
Lover of motorcycles and cars,
Leading me into my next headcannon: Violets a major tomboy…which should come as no surprise (much to her mothers dismay)
After the tour, her relationship with her parents became strained (more so than it already was) and she was often insulted by them for being “stupid” and “immature.” I mean, “how could a girl be told NOT to do something…but then do it any way?”….especially if it turned her BLUE.
Cut her hair, bleached it blonde, and left home the second she could…desperate to sever any relation/and or ties to family.
Ends up in a relationship with Matilda (Charlie’s bestie).
Bestie = Mike Teavee….OOOOGGH BOY these two are absolutely chaotic together. What a perfect duo
Likely the closest with Charlie post-tour? Idk it just sorta feels right.
Doesn’t stay dark blue for her entire life—-as she grows up, the color of her skin gets lighter…becoming and staying light blue when she’s around 16, I’d say.
Miranda:
Demisexual…likely Demi-aroace…
Speaks seven languages (Chinese, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, and English), however, she says she speaks six because “saying she speaks seven languages…would be bragging.”
Fences, plays soccer, and lacrosse
Plays the violin, piano, cello, harp, and flute
Student council president at her school
Participates in every extra-curricular activity her school offers
Similar to Violet, pressured into being the best by her parents…if she were in the book, movies, or musical adaptations—-Miranda and Violet would probably have a rivalry.
Very professional…speaks to everyone as if she’s speaking to—-like—-the president or something
Assumed she had her entire life planned out at the before the tour…at only 11 years old.
Thought she’d become a lawyer or a politician—-that or a schoolmaster, like her father.
Took the longest to warm up to all of the golden ticket winners post tour—-was afraid of feeling things.
Pretty much hated everyone at first and actually thought the tour was a “waste of time.”
However, she hated Augustus the least…so it kinda makes sense why she became…friends with him first.
Took her the longest to befriend Mike….OOOGH boy—-it was a struggle…since they, too, had a rivalry—-and she was convinced he was an UTTER BUFFOON before actually getting to know him.
Post tour, Miranda is left with red spots over her skin…luckily, though, there aren’t a lot.
Last one, calls Augustus “Auggie” in the future.
Augustus:
Demisexual and genderfluid (he/she/they pronouns…)
Nicest of the “rotten kids”
Actually, besides Charlie of course, has one of the best relationships with his parents (er—-well, mother…his father passed away before he could remember him).
Probably was the most willing of the “rotten” golden ticket winners to be friends with Charlie post tour
Cross dresses (mainly in the future) and probably gets fashion advice from Veruca—-okay, you know what…they’d probably bond over fashion.
Though everyone disliked Miranda (except Charlie because he literally cannot hate anyone), Augustus was the first to get Miranda to open up—-to everyone’s shock.
Unlikely lovers: Augustus and Miranda—-HEAR ME OUT.
Sweetest little guy…I can’t even.
After the tour, he began to have a healthier relationship with food.
Can sing opera level notes (I blame “A Little Bit of Good” from Chicago for this one)…So…I guess, vocally, he’d be a countertenor?
Never lost his German accent—-despite not living in Germany anymore when he’s older.
Veruca:
…I don’t think she’s gay, guys—-although, I’m not opposed to demi-girl (she/they) Veruca. At the very most…I’d say bi-curious? (Oh god I hope this doesn’t offend anyone I’m so sorry I know people see her as a lesbian its just not something I see SORRY)
Definitely became nicer post tour—-she actually becomes ashamed of her past self.
Probably only remains in contact with her dad in the future considering the fact that her mother…wasn’t necessarily in the picture anyhow…
Does ballet. I LOVE this detail from the broadway musical…
Half Russian and British
Voice of reason when it comes to her and Mikes relationship (both platonically and romantically).
Ends up together with Mike eventually
If it’s modern au—-I could see Veruca being into musical theater (the “big ones” now specifically…even though I could see it being in my regular version of events)
Learns to be—-less spoiled, one could say…
Dresses in a lot less fancy clothing post tour—-of course it’s still nice clothing…but its not like she’s wearing luxurious, poofy, sparkling dresses everywhere and anywhere to “flaunt her families riches” in everyone’s face.
Mike:
Bisexual. No comment.
Modern au Mike would be OBSESSED with Saturday morning cartoons. He’d also be a Nickelodeon kid without a doubt. Spongebob would be his favorite…because of course it would…He’d also like Ed, Edd n Eddy.
Also modern au…Mike would be a theater kid. I feel like his favorite would be Spongebob the musical…..go figure.
Since I’m assuming Captain Knuckleduster (in the catcf verse) is a piece of media Mike consumes…(both shows and games based on Captain Knuckleduster)…I’m gonna say it was something he really loved as a kid…perhaps Captain Knuckleduster provided him comfort due to him feeling like a father figure to him. Hmmm…Do I smell daddy issues?
Yeah, Mike and his dad, Norman, aren’t very close…
…huh, it’s probably why Violet and Mike are close….they both have parental issues (Violet with her mom, mainly, and Mike with his dad).
Mike and his mother, Ethel, however…I actually feel like they end up on good terms and have a pretty good relationship in the future! I also feel like in the future that Mike learns to respect her and appreciate her.
In the future—-Mike probably becomes a physics teacher…Not only based on his interests but also out of respect for his mother (since his mother is normally portrayed to be a teacher).
Genius….Need I say more?
Post tour, Mike ends up—-pretty much back to normal size! Maybe an inch or two taller…but normal sized!…yet, theres a catch. Because of his body being stretched to UNGODLY lengths to try and fix him…he likely ended up with bones like rubber….and post tour, his limbs can stretch very far….uncontrollably.
But after bouts of depression, self-hatred, self-discovery, and then self-acceptance (and also therapy…lots of it), Mike realizes he can actually control it…basically giving him a super power almost (move over elastigirl…here comes Mike Teavee).
Ends up becoming pretty close with Charlie in the future too.
Thinks he’s a smooth a** mother f**ker when it comes to flirting…but…oh my god…he just…OOOOGH boy…he sucks at it. Can’t flirt in a smooth way AT ALL yet thinks he’s just so…good at it???? It probably drives Veruca insane (in a good way) and probably gets a laugh out of her too.
Okay, so, uh…That’s it for now! I hope you liked my headcannons!!! I’d love to hear yours! Also, thank you for listening to my babbling lol!

so
i think it's time for my fnaf movie rant
HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE SPOILERS (obviously)
these are in no particular order and are just a conglomeration of thoughts that i wrote down immediately after watching so they don't make any sense half the time, and don't include theories i've seen recently
enjoy
- THE MATPAT CAMEO??? THE THEORY LINE???? HOLY FUCKING SHIT. THE THEATER SCREAMED.
- why did golden freddy pull a sans w the blue eye what happened to the white smh
- DUDE. I CALLED THE 'VANESSA AS AFTON'S DAUGHTER' HALFWAY THROUGH THE FUCKING MOVIE
- THE SECOND SHE EXPLAINED THAG SHE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THAT SHE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO HELP, IT WAS OBVIOUS.
- because mike explained that their dad was gone, right? and afton clearly recognized the schmidt name. due to this, i originally thought that maybe schmidt was some code name and that only the aftons could recognize it, but now i have a theory
- the families are switched somehow. Vanessa is either a stand-in for Charlie or herself, which makes no sense story-wise
- however, Mike, Abby, and Garrett are clearly afton children. Mike is Mike (and in the games, Mike apparently uses Schmidt anyway to investigate his dad), Abby can bring lengthened to Elizabeth, and the crying child doesn't even canonically have a name 💀
- so i was thinking what if the families were eswitched? vanessa was some sort of charlie stand-in, with afton as her dad, while the schmidts were raised by Henry
- this would explain why he recognized schmidt and offered the job at Freddy's - he'd already killed Garrett, so he wanted to finish off the collection. Mayne this could be a parallel to him killing Charlie, but since there's three kids, he needs to get them all??? idfk
- ONE OF THE GUYS BREAKING IN HAD A MIDNIGHT MOTORISTS T-SJIRT (the guy who got killed by the cupcake)
- i am soglad i went with who I did because i doubt any of my other friends would understand any of it 😭
- THEY PLAYED LIVING TOMBSTONE AT THE END. YES. THANK YOU. THAT IS ALL WE EVER NEEDED IN LIFE.
- the balloon boy bit 😭 i doubt anyone not in the fandom would appreciate it as well as we did smh
- ugh i wish mark had his cameo but iron lung is important too ig
- THE WAY THE AUDIENCE SCREAMED WHEN AFTON TOOK OFF HIS MASK BRAHAHHDHCJC
- WE WERE ALL WAITIJG FOR IT
- we probably won't get to see a "WAS THAT THE BITE OF '87" moment because garrett got kidnapped instead of chomped smh
- BUT. THEY KEPT THE GUILT. IN THE GAMES, MICHAEL SHOVED CC INTO FREDBEAR'S MOUTH. IN THE MOVIE, HE WASNT PAYING ATTENTION, WHICH CAUSED HIS BROTHER TO GET KIDNAPPED. OH THE FUCKING PARALLELS DUUUUDE
- also max getting bit in half is probably all we're gonna get of The Bite
- MATTHEW LILLARD FUCKING ATE. HE KNEW THE ASSIGNMENT. BEST AFTON.
- only issue is the lack of screaming during the springlocking. only your stomach is getting stabbed, not your throat yet. Scream.
- it would've been so funny if he pulled the "MICHAELLL DONT LEAVE ME HERE MICHAEL MICHAEL" while he was being dragged away but homie was too busy dying
- HE SAID THE LINE. "I ALWAYS COME BACK." OH MY GOD.
- NOBODY EXPECTSD VANESSA TO GET STABBED. THE THEATER GASPED.
- "IT'S ME" ON THE MIRROR DBSJAJXJXJXJDJ
- stop bonnie and chica staring down the camera while they release the cupcake is so funny 😭
- MORE ON THE FAMILY SWITCH. ABBY IS ELIZABETH, OBVIOUSLY, WHICH IS ONLY MADE MORE TRUE BC CHICA TRIES TO SHOVE HER INTO THAT DOLL-LOOKING THING. YOU KNOW WHAT IT RESEMBLES? SCRAP BABY. MY FIRST THOUGHT ABOUT THAT SUIT WAS "dude is that scrap baby?"
- the lack of a mrs. afton is so real 🤩🤩
- dude the entire fort scene was actually so fucking hilario
us
- like bonnie just. falling backwards. is so him yk
- BUT GOLDEN FREDDY. THERES THE KID. WHERE'S CASSIDY? IS GARRETT ALSO POSSESSING GOLDEN FREDDY IF HE'S THE PARALLEL FOR CC? WHAT ABOUT VANESSA?
- the issue with the family swap is that Vanessa just doesn't fit in. we can't play it off as a parallel to Charlie, because vanessa is already an established character with a connection to afton.  fuck you Scott.
- SPEAKING OF. SCOTT KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE CATERED TO US LIKE A FUCKING ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFET. THE INSIDE REFERENCES AND EASTER EGGS?! THE MATPAT CAMEO??? THE LIVONG TOMBSTONE?!?!?!
- a bit upset they didn't keep Freddy's flashing face sequence smh
- THE SPRINGLOCKING WAS SO GOOD BC THEY LEFT HIM IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION AS CANON. ALSO IT WAS GOLDEN FREDDY WHO FINALLY LEFT HIM THERE, WHICH IS A HIT AT THE WHOLE "GOLDEN FREDDY HATES AFTON THE MOST" (cough cough ultimate custom night)
- they kept in the red eyes in some parts but im very glad they weren't in the rest. they looked fucking high. what happened to the black with white?? THAT WOULDVE BEEN TEN TIMES SCARIER AND APPEALED TO CANON, WHATS THE WITH THE CHANGE MAN 😭
- bonnie never got his eyebrows
- cupcake slayed and ate (literally!!!!)
- im actually super curious why half of spring bonnie is so damaged. now, it could go with the whole "this place hasn't been touched in forever, yadda yadda, destroyed suit makes it more sensitive and easy to set off" but. it's only one half of it. there could be a perfectly plausible explanation of "Oh yeah, only half of it was exposed to bad stuff, other half was covered with a tarp" ITS FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S. ITS NEVER THAT SIMPLE. HAVE WE LEARNED NOTHING? also a bit curious about whether movie afton already got springlocked once like book afton did (has game afton getting springlocked previously been confirmed? please lmk)
- i really love how they used the "the robots are just children" because they love abby and just want to play and shit and they're so sweet but they're so easily manipulatable
like
afton probably didn't have to do much besides show the pictures and convince them he was good
and all it took for them to turn on him was abby drawing a second picture
what if she convinced them vanessa was bad or some shit? they are really fucking gullible.
- also what the fuck was that freddy head saw blade monstrosity??!! what 😭
- like it never ends up being explained and it's not a stand-in for springlocks or being shoved into suits because those are very very much there
- literally the second i heart matpat's voice my heart went oop
- it took a second for everyone to register it but we went WILD
- AND HE DROPPED THE "BUT THATS JUST A THEORY"
- HE'S SO SILLY
- FOOD THEORY IS SO REAL THO 😭
- no bc a markiplier cameo would be so great but imagine if they used his reaction thing
- like they got him to film "WAS THAT THE BITE OF '87" as max gets bitten, and he appears in the corner for that one line
- even better, not reaction camera style, just standing there right next to her and then never being mentioned again
- either that or him popping up on the cameras (again, either as a reaction image, or standing there menacingly)
- THEY HAD SPARKY
- also why DID vanessa keep Mike in the dark abt afton (not calling him her dad, not stooping that low) and him trying to kill Abby? fear of authorities getting involved? this is bumfuck nowhere Utah, she is the fucking authority, and considering what his aunt said, a police officer defending her dad against some random guy isn't gonna go well for him
- like sure she told him to not bring abby but she didn't tell him why of course it's not gonna go well
- about the family swap. it's so easy to tell the scmidts are supposed to be a version of the afton kids, why the fuck did they name him GARRETT?
- I love the whole references to phone guy
Would've loved to see actual phone guy (imagine if THAT was matpat's cameo)(coughs in fnaf the musical) but afton is good enough
but abby's "hello" while exploring Freddy's sounds so much lime balloon boy wtf
- abby is a monogram (or whatever it's called) for baby which might not have that much symbolism bc abby is short for Elizabeth but the more the merrier yk
- i think i answered my own question abt whether movie afton has been springlocked
considering how he fuckign SPRINTED at michael and made all these moves like kicking and shit? yeah, I'm more surprised it took him so long to get springlocked
same with game afton actually like.. hello? stop laughing at the fucking dead kids in such a damp room, it's your own fault dumbass
Basically book afton was the smartest about wearing the suit bc of experience
- THE WAY CARL LAUNCHED ITSELF AT MICHAEL WILL NEVER NOT BE FUNNY LIKE BRO FUCKING ASCENDED 😭
- my friend is complaining abt how flirty Vanessa is w Michael which is really funny for no reaskn
- MY FRIEND INSULTED FOXY'S "dum dum dum" SAYING HES NOT CUT OUT FOR MUSIC. HELLO?!?!?@?@?@?@@
- as my friend mentioned, springlock scene was kinda anticlimactic lmao like where's the screaming? the blood?
- according to the same friend mentioned three times already:
Best parts of the movie
1. Matpat saying "that's just a theory"
2. Living tombstone credits
3. Vanessa getting stabbed
- the sounds at the end spell out "come find me" so wooohooo sequel time?? :))
- the "i always come back" was NOT it 😭 at least he said it yk
- okay someone pointed out that it was his last words so they were desperate and mad and showcase his lack of confidence in if he's actually gonna come back
which is cool
but I like the og more yk
- about abby's springlock suit: its the same doll from 1:35 am (fazbear frights 3), then there's sparky as an animatronic ans restaraunt, wppohoho

It takes a bit for him to sink into a dream, especially when he hears Beck crunching away and then lapping up water from a bowl - he seems to be at the end of his bed. Focus. Sleep. Sleep. The bed shifts as he feels Beck nudge his nose and eventually whole himself under the blanket to curl beside Michael. He hadn't slept with anything in years, not even a stuffed animal. His arms reach and hug Beck, and it seems that - finally, sleep meets him halfway.
He sits up; he's in an empty void. He can see his reflection in the 'ground' beneath him. He moves to his feet and searches around: anything, any clue. Michael tries to find some direction but wanders through the pitch black. It goes on until he sees a familiar sight in an upcoming distance. Sat in a heap is his sister, the... one stuck in Baby. As he gets closer, he sees her head snap in his direction; the bot's green eyes look him over as she attempts to move, hand lifting toward him, but drops down.
"Mike. Why do you look like that?" The Clown asks, to which Michael looks at his reflection again, not the teenaged boy he was previously, but the decomposing corpse he was 'back home.' "Oh, forgot already?" unintentionally asked in a cold tone, but could anyone fault him? Circus Baby tries to move again. Seemingly giving up, she slumps back into her pile. "I thought you were daddy." she admits with her soft voice; it pains Michael as he hears her response. He hates how he was his father's son.
"Do you have any idea what's going on? Aren't I dead? Aren't you also?" Mike changes the topic, to which Circus Baby - no. Elizabeth, his Elizabeth, turns her head away. "I am. Burnt away. I'm your dream iteration. You missed me so much! but you feel it inappropriate to put me back in my own body." Her voice shifts from Circus Baby's to her speaking voice; Michael gets closer and kneels to look her in her face. He sees her, the girl he had just eaten dinner with earlier, who was childishly rude. They may not be the same, but they look the same. Her face is contorting from the animatronic and the child she was. He reaches for a bandaged hand and cups her cheek gently. Even if it were an accident, she was only 10. She was only a child.
"Beth, can you hear me? Even if you've made up, you're still my sister, and... please. Try to tell me what's going on if you can. I don't need to tell you what's going on if you are from my mind, right?" asked as the animatronic cracked and chipped down, allowing him to hold his little sister's face in his hands. Elizabeth is silent until she opens her mouth once more. "Cassidy did it. Somehow. Evan's friend. She sent you back. But, somewhere else. A different you."
Cassidy. The little girl in red. He remembers her, especially in that Fredbear suit.
"She's responsible for this? For why... Am I seeing such impossible things? The Missing Kids, Charlie, a happy family?" he's unaware of how his voice cracked, but Elizabeth is very in tune. She rests a hand over his heart.
"Your heart is beating. A corpse like you shouldn't be able to do that. Hehe! Don't worry! It's not like it's a test. It's a Second Chance, Michael. Take it, I know I would." his hand slides from her cheek to rest over hers. "There's a living, breathing you; she's just like you. She's a brat so far... but she's happy." there's no doubt of the sadness dripping from his voice, guilt in a sense. Elizabeth shuts her eyes and nods her head.
"Yep, she's me. I want you, Michael, to ensure she doesn't end up like me. Since I'm pretending... Uncle Henry mentioned the Funtimes. Please, don't let her end up like me." he watches her form shape and shift, now holding the animatronic Circus Baby's hand. He squeezes it tight. "Don't let her become this." Circus Baby pleads.
"What about Charlie? And Evan? I know not to repeat the same thing with him again; I know, trust me. But Charlie. I'm unsure if that'll happen this time, especially since things feel different here regarding her. Maybe she'll be okay and can grow up without much-" "If there's a version of our daddy here and a Charlie, it's bound to repeat itself. It may happen differently, but Mikey. You'll be able to help this time. You'll be able to keep her alive." he sees a flicker of light; the dark void around them cracks bit by bit; he looks to the floor and sees the teenage self he'd become. Looking at Circus Baby, he finds her gone. He slams his hands down, feeling the cold, damp floor for her.
"Elizabeth!? Come back, Elizabeth - wait! Lizzie!"
Thud. He'll sit on his bedroom floor, his door wide open, with a little girl peering in at him, Elizabeth. "What? What do you want?" asked with impatience - as usual of Elizabeth. "Eliza- OOHF." Beck jumped on Michael's stomach to greet him with morning kisses. Michael squirms out of his blanket and pushes Beck away gently. "Elizabeth. I uh," Think. Don't be weird. "I can smell your breath from over here. Have you even brushed your teeth yet?" Whoops. They're going to clash.
"Excuse me!? Of course, I did! You're the one who slept in his day clothes and smells like motor oil!" She sticks her tongue out at him, blowing a raspberry. "Charlie's not gonna wanna be near you if you stink so bad!" Liz teases, now pinching her nose for added effect. "Oh yeah, I did, huh?" He'll get to his feet and grin at the girl. It takes her a moment to realize his stance, and she screams, turning to run. Michael, however, is taller and faster; he charges after and scoops her up. "Oooh, I smell SO bad, huh!" he pushes her face against his armpit. "Oh yeah, I must REEK, don't I?" Kicking and clawing, she's yelling for him to put her down! He does after a minute of pure pit time. "You're SO gross, Mike! I'm telling Charlie to NEVER date you! EVER!" she shouts, running toward the upstairs bathroom. He rolls his eyes and calls after her. "Because she'll listen to a Raggedy Ann!" He loved poking fun at her, to mess with her as she messed with him and his feelings. Hearing the door creak, he sees Evan's brown eyes peering out at him.
"Morning, Evan. What's up, little guy?" His tonal shift is instant, from a mocking older brother to soft and careful. Evan opens the door more, and an arm holds his Fredbear plush tight. "I'm going to Fritz's baseball game today... But Daddy and Mommy are busy. I don't know how I'm going to get there." he said low as he hovered in his doorway; looking past his brother, he could see a large queen bed. He and Elizabeth must share it, considering he sees 'girly' toys and clothing hung around and a few random toys Evan likely held onto.
"So you want me to bring you?" Mike approaches the boy, who takes a nervous step back. "Is it ok? I saw - I saw you got pegs added to your bike and... It wouldn't be too far." "Hey, calm it a bit—nothing to be nervous about. Sure, I'll take you. ... give me the directions, and I'll bring you. When is this game at?" He's trying. Trying to make himself seem less like a vicious older brother. "5:00 at Hurricane Middle School." Hurricane Middle - well, that's Michael's school here. Alright. "I know how to get there. I can bring you. Just be sure you smell good and look neat; we don't need a Mike 2.0, yeah?" Poking fun at himself and, with a small laugh, causes a smile to bloom on Evan's face. "Mr.Bell is going to be there too! Fritz's dad! Have you ever met Mr.Bell? He works at Fredbear's too!" Oh, someone's chatty now. Mr.Bell... Fritz's dad. Michael can't say he recognized the surname. He'll listen to Evan talk a bit as he enters the bedroom, looking through the clothing choices Evan shows him, and at the end of their conversation, Evan's got a neat little outfit picked out: rainbow stripes over off-white long-sleeves and dark blue denim. Michael wasn't allowed to touch the clothing himself due to how 'stinky' he smelled—Fair's fair.
"I didn't even know he had a game or that he played." Michael admits while looking at the bedroom size. This had to be the primary bedroom. These kids got such a big bedroom due to being twins... Does this mean their parents also have separate rooms? Or? Well, he doesn't want to unwrap the situation of his parents' sleeping location! He hears a whine by the doorway and is greeted by Beck holding a leash in his mouth.
"Oh, Mike! I'm sorry! I forgot you usually do morning walks with Beck-" Morning walks with Beck... Sounds nice. Michael waves Evan off and takes the leash from Beck, connecting it to his collar. "A walk, then I come home, shower, eat, we go to Fredbear's, and then at 4, I'll ride us to the Middle School for the game. How's that?" Mike suggests, to which he sees Evan practically bouncing in place. "Yeah! Thank you! Oh, this is going to be so bitchin'!" Mike's eyes widened, and he couldn't help but laugh. "Oh my god, who taught you that? Don't- don't EVER cuss again! It sounds like a My Little Pony cussing!" Evan's laughing too; hand lifted to hide his face. "I heard you say it, so-" "Oh no way, is that so? I'm never cussing around you ever again, then! Not if you're gonna say it like that!"
This is nice. But even as Elizabeth re-enters the bedroom and makes a fuss, Michael heads out, walks Beck around the block, and ensures he's used the bathroom. He feels these few weeks will be quite a lot to go through.
Then there's his Lizzie in his mind, the dream one. Cassidy did this. If he can find her again, then maybe he can plot things out with her and figure out a plan for how to keep things fixed - so no one has to die at the hands of his father.
Michael's sat in a booth at Fredbear's now, listening to Charlie talk about how she wants to be just like her papa, and he's smiling. She's going to stay alive this time, and he will make sure of it.

Spend the Night: Ch. 31
~Coauthored by @zeitghest~
Fandom(s): Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: The familiar melody of Grandfather’s Clock chimes through the echoing halls of the Pizzaplex…
Charlie wakes up in her Puppet’s vessel yet again with one goal in mind: to stop William Afton’s reign of terror for good. She enlists the help of Glamrock Freddy, the emphatic leader of the newest iteration of the Fazbear Band. But there seems to be more to this bear than meets the eye—and the same goes for the mysteriously familiar kid the duo find tinkering with animatronics down in Parts & Service.
With some help from friends new and old, Charlie’s journey into the bowels of the Pizzaplex will unravel mysteries none of them ever expected.

~They’ll Find You by Griffinilla~
Hannah was quick to take Charlie’s offered hand, sparing a lingering glance over her shoulder at the fading purple substance before turning forward. Whatever that stuff was, she decided she didn’t want to know. To distract herself from thinking back on her untimely demise, she asked Charlie: “So if you’re staying in Freddy’s room, does that mean he’s helping, too?”
The bear seemed amiable enough for a robot purely from the small interaction and other info Hannah had absorbed about him over the years. Although she couldn’t quite see him assisting with taking down a child murderer… maybe he was just letting them borrow his room as a safe space?
Silently thanking Vanessa for leading the charge back upstairs, Charlie glanced down to the younger girl.
“Freddy? Oh man, I don’t know what we would’ve done without him,” she laughed, jovial and affectionate at the mention of the superstar bear. “Freddy’s been protecting us. He also happens to be my personal favorite character—at least from the Glamrock line.”
As they approached, Charlie hoped Gregory wasn’t at the door to psyche her out with a false demand for a password that didn’t exist. Last time was stressful enough. “Everyone should be inside; don’t be shy…”
It was Freddy himself who answered the door, his usual smile bright and welcoming. It stayed present as he took in the newest addition to their little band of misfits, nor did it slip when a cursory, non-obvious health scan revealed that this girl didn’t have a heartbeat.
“Hello, there,” Freddy greeted, crouching to Hannah’s level and resting his arms on his knees. Unfortunately, his facial recognition software didn’t seem to work that well on ghosts; he couldn’t get a read on who this girl was. “I have seen you around the Pizzaplex before! I did not catch your name, though—mine is Freddy. What is yours?”
Hannah giggled at his formality, her tension easing at the bear’s friendly demeanor. Still holding Charlie’s hand for the time being, she replied: “I’m Hannah… Nice to officially meet you, Freddy!”
“Likewise!” he replied, standing again and ushering the group inside. “We have many things to share with you, Charlie. But first, as you all heard, this is Hannah.” He gestured to the girl, then to the two boys near the couch, looking as if they’d been playfully fighting over who got more room to sit moments before Freddy opened the door. “Hannah, this is Gregory and Michael.”
Mike gave her a jaunty little salute, his gaze hooking onto Vanessa over Hannah’s head. The guard’s shameful nod told him everything he needed to know—this girl was indeed one of his father’s latest victims.
As the group entered the backstage bedroom of Freddy Fazbear, Charlie gave Freddy a quick hug. She was happy to see her friend again after the emotional rollercoaster of finding those lost souls. She was sure Vanessa needed the break, too.
“Go take a breather, Ness,” Charlie murmured, sounding less formal than she had before they'd left on their journey.
On the couch, Gregory and Michael had been needlessly attempting to dominate their sides. Gregory was pinned, shoved, and squished into the corner as he was overpowered by Michael easily. Though once his silver eyes landed on Hannah, he ceased all retaliation. He grasped for a pillow and press it hard against his face as if he was hiding from her.
Was he shy? Charlie hadn’t expected such a trait. Then again, Gregory never mentioned friends before. Or perhaps his bashful mature stemmed from his newly acquired… condition.
“Gregory!” Charlie attempted cheerfully. “There’s a new friend I’d like you to meet! Come say ‘hi,’ buddy!”
This only seemed to make Gregory sink into himself. He wanted to be friendly, but the first normal-looking girl here was only going to pick on him—he just knew it. A thoroughly muffled “…Hi.” was muted into the bowtie pillow, something he’d hug close to his head for comfort.
“He’s being a little shy,” Charlie murmured to Hannah. She let go of the girl’s hand to allow her freedom to roam about. “He’s a good kid, though! Promise.”
“Yeah, don’t mind him; he’s just a weirdo sometimes—hey!” Michael let out a surprised laugh as a tiny hand shot out fast as lightening to smack him on the arm. Mike quickly retaliated with a rather intense ruffle of Gregory’s hair, which spurred Freddy to intervene.
“Boys, please relax,” the bear said in a measured tone, coming to stand next to Hannah. He’d just locked the door after a quick chat with Vanessa, who opted to sit right outside the room to play lookout and subsequently give everyone else time to bond. She’d only feel like an uninvited guest if she stayed with them, anyway.
“Your accent is cool!” Hannah said after a moment of the boys separating and resituating themselves. She looked to Michael, a small smile tugging up her lips. “I’ve only heard people talk like that on TV before.”
“Oh—uh, thanks,” Michael replied. He gently nudged Gregory with his elbow, trying to toe the line between encouraging his brother without pushing too far and making him upset or shut down further. “Come on, she seems nice, right?”
“I’m not gonna bite you or anything!” Hannah started to laugh, although this quickly trailed off as she realized the very obvious reason why the boy might be afraid of her. Looking to her shoes, she clasped her hands behind her back and admitted: “Oh… I feel like you guys already know this somehow, but I’m kinda… a ghost. Sorry if that freaks you out or whatever.”
She didn’t want to scare off potential new friends, especially the only one who seemed to be around her age, but she couldn’t help her unfortunate circumstances.
A ghost? Gregory was roused by his brother’s nudge, and the pillow was pulled back down to his chest in an instant. His startling eyes looked right away to the girl, and found nothing wrong with her. She looked the same as Cassidy—in the sense that she looked just like a normal child, save for a slight transparency coating her skin. Gregory felt his face heat up in embarrassment. He should’ve known it was just another ghost.
“—Man, that’s a relief,” he said, now reclined and relaxed. He figured that Hannah couldn’t judge him for the way he looked no more than he could judge her. He took stock of her, then quickly ruffled his hair back into place.
“I’m Gregory; this doofus is my brother!” he’d say before Michael’s hand lurched out to mess with his hair again as he was often want to do. “—Noooo! Dad said stop!”
Gregory laughed, batting fruitlessly at Michael’s arm. Charlie could only watch as the boys made fools of themselves in front of the newest ghost. She hoped that Hannah found it as endearing as she did.
The boys were strange, to say the least. Brothers that shared some vague facial features if one looked hard enough, but spoke in opposing accents. They didn’t seem shocked Hannah was a ghost—in fact, Gregory was outright relieved.
And not to mention the elephant in the room—or maybe “bear” was the correct term. Hannah might be young, but she was smart enough to piece together that Freddy Fazbear was the one who’d told the boys to stop messing with each other… so why in the world did Gregory call him “dad?”
“Do not pay their antics any mind,” Freddy murmured, almost as if he’d sensed her thinking about him. Hannah glanced up at the tall robot, seeing a weirdly articulate look of fondness on his face as he offered her a smile. “I am sure you will all get along quite well.”
Hannah nodded, turning back to the pair. Emboldened by Freddy’s vote of confidence, she stepped a little closer to the couch. She opened her mouth to say something, but the words were replaced by a gasp as she got a clear look at the flash of silver she’d seen earlier when Gregory appraised her.
“Whoa—your eyes!” she breathed, staring intently at the boy’s face. Michael instantly stopped his brotherly torment, ready to either comfort or vouch for Gregory based on Hannah’s reaction. The room itself seemed to wait with baited breath until Hannah added with an excited grin: “They’re awesome! Are those contacts?! I wanted to wear these bright red ones for Halloween but my mom wouldn’t let me… The silver ones are way cooler though!”
Gregory was ready for it. He could take it, resigned to the fact that he would forever bear the mark of death on his face.
Then, Hannah surprised him. He stilled on the couch and with fluttering eyelids, giving her a confused look. It then turned to relief, followed by the feeling of caterpillars crawling inside his guts.
“You think my eyes are cool?” he asked with a scoff, trying to play it cool. He crossed his arms, leaning back to take the compliment in stride. “Y-yeah—” he’d say, coughing when his voice cracked to clear it up. “—they’re my real eyes! What was your Halloween costume going to be?”
He could relax; Hannah was an alright person but there was something about her that made Gregory want to conduct himself a little different than he had been earlier. Much to the benefit of Charlie’s weary conscience, she was glad that Gregory and Hannah were getting along. Gregory was in need of a friend his age anyway. She came to the couch and sat next to Michael, balancing herself on the armrest to watch them interact.
“Your real eyes?! Whoa…” Hannah sounded more impressed than before. She paused, thinking of the dozens of costume options she’d gone through before finally deciding on the perfect one.
“I was gonna be a vampire!” she announced proudly. Her ponytail swung two and fro as she quickly shook her head with the need to clarify. “Not one of those lame ones that sparkle or don’t really look like vampires or whatever—I’m talking red eyes, fangs, and my sister was gonna help me put fake bite marks on my neck! She’s good at special effects and stuff.”
A bit of the sparkle left Hannah’s eyes as she thought of her sister. Man, she and her mother must be worried sick wondering where she was…
“That sounds awesome!” Michael chimed in, also able to spot the telltale signs of someone falling into their dark thoughts from a mile away. “Hey, who knows—maybe we’ll find a way to make the vampire look still happen.” He shrugged, the not-quite-promise the best he could do. It did its job to get Hannah out of her head though, as she nodded at Michael with a tiny smile.
Charlie sent Michael a glare that could only last so long before it broke into a smile. It was hard to even pretend to be mad at him. Her attention turned then to Hannah’s anecdote, then at Gregory’s face. He leaned on his hand, listening to her intently.
“You’d make an awesome vampire.” Gregory agreed, and Charlie was sure she hadn’t ever heard Gregory speak with such conviction before. He thought it was important for her to know that her being a blood-sucking demon of the night would suit her well.
“Oh yeah! There’s gotta be stage make up around here. When we have free time, we'll find a place to play dress up!” Charlie reassured. Hannah won’t ever get to see Halloween outside the Pizzaplex again but the four of them could still make it fun for her, she figured.
“…I want to dress up like a clown. ‘Cause Mike hates clowns.” Gregory grinned, tenderly mocking him.
Charlie rolled her eyes. “Do you guys ever stop picking on each other? Or did it get worse while I was gone?”
“Oh no, it for sure got worse,” Michael said matter-of-factly, then shot his little brother a glare. “And I don’t hate clowns in general, I just hate a few very specific clowns.”
“Ennard is being quite helpful, Mich—”
“Nope, I don’t want to hear it, Freddy.” Michael cut the bear off with a raised hand, then offered him a strained smile. “Sorry—let’s just talk about that whole situation later, okay?”
Freddy nodded in deferment, knowing it best not to press the matter. Hannah simply stared between the group, realizing there was a huge ton of contextual information she was missing. Well, hopefully if they actually became friends they’d tell her in time.
“Anyway, don’t worry about how all this is connected Hannah, but speaking of clowns we have news for you, Charlie!” Michael continued, eagerness filling his voice. “We found out who else is in the basement with your dad and Cassidy: it’s Evan and Lizzie. Don’t be mad, but… we took a trip down to see them while you girls were wandering around.” He grimaced, folding back into the couch slightly as he waited to get an earful from his best friend about visiting their old families without her.
Michael’s gut feeling about Charlie’s reaction turned out to be accurate. There was a heavy gasp before she leaned over and shook his shoulders. She was over the moon now knowing that Liz and Evan were waiting for them! But of course, Charlie was guarding Vanessa and collecting the soul of a lost child—so of course she missed a reunion with her childhood friends.
“AHH! Lizzie and Evan?! I miss those guys like crazy!” she admitted, unable to stay mad for long before letting go of his shoulders to give him a break from sudden vertigo. “PLEASE tell me you gave them hugs for me.”
Gregory laughed at this exchange before his gaze flickered back to Hannah. He stood, stretching his legs and giving Charlie a chance to fully seat herself into the couch. While she and Michael caught up, Gregory went to get Hannah’s attention.
“Do you want to play Freddy’s arcade game with me?” he asked, fishing around in his pocket for his tethered coin. He flashed it to her, then swung it on the clear string it was attached to. “It’s on me!”
“Of course I gave them hugs and said you missed them.” Michael sounded offended at Charlie’s suggestion that he wouldn’t do such a thing. As Charlie settled on the couch next to him, a look of decades-long relief fell upon his face.
“We… all had a good talk,” he murmured quietly, leaning in so his more intimate feelings weren’t overheard. He didn’t care about Gregory and Freddy, as they’d witnessed his entire slew of weekend breakdowns, but Hannah had been through enough recently—she didn’t need to see his emotional trauma fifteen minutes into their first meeting. Mike let out a soft laugh, looking sidelong at Charlie. “They told me I was being a dummy and they’d forgiven me for everything eons ago…”
And this was exactly what Charlie had been trying to tell Mike the same thing this entire time. She snaked an arm around her best friend, pulling him in for a hug. She could tell that there was a weight lifted from him now—a semblance of normalcy had returned to Mike's life. It was amazing what forgiveness could do.
“How do you feel?” Charlie asked, imagining that it couldn't all be okay, but things were better. They were similar to how they were before—
Fixing the broken parts of their shattered lives bit by bit.
“God, it… it’s so much better, knowing for sure they don’t hate me, Charlie,” Michael echoed his friend’s thoughts, leaning onto her shoulder and allowing her to hold him close. He never thought he’d receive forgiveness from anyone, let alone his siblings.
Let alone Evan.
By this point Hannah had eagerly followed Gregory over to the arcade machine, slightly in awe as he showed off his handy-dandy coin trick for endless fun. She couldn’t help but glance over her shoulder at Freddy who, to her surprise, did not come over to lecture them about cheating the game with fake money. In fact, he wasn’t even paying attention to them, moving to the door to have a muted conversation with the night guard through the closed metal. Only when they were done talking did he turn and catch Hannah’s eye, smiling warmly and making his way over.
“I’m surprised Freddy lets you get away with that,” she said, watching as Gregory began a game. Hannah flashed a grin, shrugging slightly. “Not that I’m complaining—it’s cool you get to hang out with him! Did you get to meet all the other animatronics, too?”
She had no idea how long Gregory had been here, but from his mildly disheveled appearance she guessed a while. Hannah certainly wasn’t judging though—her body was currently frozen stiff as a board in a random secret room in the basement. Appearances didn’t matter all that much once you were dead…
Gregory stepped aside to let Hannah go first, as this would be his fifth time this night trying to beat his own personal high score at the leader board of Superstar Skater. Gregory's hair was coated in a slight sheen of sweat and grease; in fact, he'd been slicking it back this past night due to the grime. Again he raked a hand through his hair before smirking wryly.
“Freddy loves me, dude. He doesn't care what I do,” he bragged—even if that last part was somewhat of a fib. Freddy didn't let him get away with just anything. It was all within reason. But if such an ideal impressed Hannah, then sure, Freddy would let him get away with murder if he wanted.
At the mention of the other animatronics, Gregory rolled his eyes.
“Those guys are such tools. But... They're not themselves right now. So—I don't know,” Gregory remarked with a defeated attitude before showing Hannah the controls on the game before them. Then, he stepped back and allowed her to take the reins.
Hannah had stepped up to the console, absorbing Gregory’s instructions and meshing them with everything she already knew about how these arcade games worked. She wasn’t the most skilled player, but she enjoyed the console platformers nonetheless.
In the midst of their momentary peace there was a sudden commotion outside the room, though with the curtains drawn the group could only listen and guess what was happening. It started with a loud banging in the vents that led from Rockstar Row directly to Freddy’s room. A low, simulated laugh echoed through the walls, making Vanessa shoot to her feet with her flashlight pointed towards every grate she could find. She raised a fist to knock on Freddy’s door and warn them of danger, but there was an even louder noise that caused her teeth to grind together.
The surprised and then terrified scream from Monty was quickly overshadowed by the shrieking of tearing metal. Seconds later a vent cover in Freddy’s room busted open, clattering to the ground mere feet from where Vanessa had been quickly ushered inside. She jumped at the sight but didn’t have time to process before Monty’s head came shooting out of the opening, skidding across the floor to smack into the base of the couch. Whatever efforts Vanny made to get him back in commission were all for naught—it was clear by his stillness and features mangled worse than before that the gator was not getting up again tonight.
This was proven further when his upper torso fell from the vent opening, seemingly pushed out by an unseen force… Which Vanessa quickly discovered as her shaky flashlight beam moved back up just in time for something to stick its face out with a grinning clown mask and too many wires.
“Holy shit!” she yelled, pressing her trembling good hand over her mouth. “What the fuck is that?!”
Charlie had all but jumped into Michael's lap, frightened by the sudden commotion. She hadn't realized who was in the grates helping them and figured it was something worse than Monty. She shielded Mike before the rest of Monty's torso came out of the vent, busted beyond repair. Just like Roxy...
“It's cool! Guys—chill! Chill! It's just Ennard up there!” Gregory shouted, aimed mostly at Charlie since she had to deal with the alligator head landing not two feet away from where she sat. Cupping his hands around his mouth, Gregory shouted towards the open vent. “Thanks, Ennard!”
“YOU ARE WELCOME...!” It was so hard to hear them, especially when their voice had even more distortion and echo from being inside of the air ducts.
Gregory went over to Monty, inspecting his busted pieces with curiosity. After a quick nudge with his foot, Charlie got off of her friend and told the boy “—Dude don't mess with him like that.”
“Why?” Gregory questioned, smirking at the gator’s weak attempt to get the drop on them. “He's busted. Look! Look how busted he is.”
Looking over his shoulder, he glanced at Hannah nonchalantly. “Oh yeah—don't worry about it, but there's like... robots after me. No big deal.”
He spoke as if he hadn't been internally screaming this whole weekend wondering if he would live to see the next day outside the Pizzaplex.
“Um… okaaaaay?” Hannah breathed out in a voice rife with skepticism. This little event prompted so many questions, but honestly she didn’t even know where to begin.
“What the hell is that thing?!” Vanessa reiterated, eyes fixed to the dark hole in the wall. Her heart was still racing, so Freddy guided her into his vanity chair so she could sit properly.
“You really don’t want to know,” Michael replied with a heavy sigh.
“Ennard means us no harm,” Freddy assured, gently patting Vanessa’s shoulder. She simply shook her head, then massaged the bridge of her nose as if to relive some tension.
Hannah had wandered close to Gregory, staring down at the decapitated gator with a pinched expression. “So like… is Monty dead or…?”
“Huh?” Gregory seemed almost confused by her question at first. After glancing down at the dismantled bot, he gave a shrug. “Nah—he'll be fine. Eventually.”
He didn't really know that Monty would be okay. They might have to scrap the whole model… Though Gregory knew all that made Monty up was a line of coding, several data points and some fixed personality traits that could be downloaded into any endoskeleton.
Bumping, Hannah's shoulder he reassured: “He'll be good as new come tomorrow. I'm sure of it.”
“Okay,” Hannah relented, because really what else was there to say about everything? She was no expert on robotics, but surely there were failsafe’s in place in case the main animatronics malfunctioned. They were too important not to have backups. After a lingering glance at Monty, she shrugged and moved back to the arcade game, wanting to distract herself from her new, very weird reality with familiar animated graphics.
Charlie laughed at Michael's brief warning about Ennard, quiet and under her breath. Despite the robot having actively saved their asses so many times now, he’d forever remain bitter and salty when conversing about them. Not that she could exactly blame him.
“It's best not to think too hard about all of it, you know?” Charlie said to the group, having finally chilled out about the busted Monty being shoved past the metal grating. “You alright, Ness?”
“Yeah… I’m fine,” Vanessa replied after a brief pause, giving Charlie the faintest ghost of a smile. “Everything’s just—a lot, you know?”
“You are already helping a great deal,” Freddy reassured, smiling down at the guard.
Vanessa let out a wry laugh, rolling her eyes. She really hadn’t done much except lead Charlie to William’s lab and find the missing kids—but it was already too late for them. She hadn’t even been the one to bring Hannah back… that was all Charlie. At least Vanny was no longer a threat; that was probably the best thing to come out of this whole fiasco of painful memories.
“So did you find anything down there?” Michael asked, directing the question more towards Charlie. His gaze briefly flickered to the kids at the arcade machine. “Besides Hannah, I mean.”
Charlie glanced away, thinking about the backroom and hidden stash of Remnant just waiting to be used. Two jars, with one already used up... Two kids still astray, with one successfully made immortal. It wasn’t hard to understand exactly what William planned to do with the rest.
Charlie didn't want to think about it.
“Remnant. There was a lot...” She looked down at her hands where they rested on her lap. “There's a backroom full of endoskeletons. They're programed to—to deal with the kids after they're brought to Parts & Service.”
She reclined into the couch, hugging herself with her palms on her elbows. It was hard being this distant about things sometimes. “I... don't want to say more than that.”
With their present company, she felt like it would be far too graphic to share, not to mention rude.
Michael leaned back into the couch as well, slipping an arm around Charlie’s shoulders to pull her into a side hug. He knew how hard this topic was for her to discuss, despite how well she hid her discomfort—no amount of time would ever make up for the pain and torment Charlie and all the other restless souls of William’s victims went through.
“We’ll get rid of the Remnant and the endos once my father is dealt with,” Michael reassured, rubbing Charlie’s upper arm reassuringly.
“The Remnant’s taken care of,” Vanessa chimed in from the vanity chair. When the group turned to her, one corner of her mouth quirked up in a smile. “Charlie smashed it.”
Michael let out a hearty laugh, squeezing Charlie tightly against him. The gesture said everything he needed without words. Freddy’s expression softened into relief now that the risk for anyone else to be subjected to an immortal injection was gone.
At the arcade console, Hannah let out a groan of frustration as she lost her last life. She’d held on as long as she could, but a slight misjudgment of where the platform edge was caused her character to plummet to their doom.
“Aw man!” she lamented. “I’m not good at these games…”
Charlie cracked a smile, content to relax on the couch for just a bit longer. Now that all of them were together, she’d take a few moments of peace before starting their ultimate plan.
Then she looked to Gregory, watching him as he played with his new friend. As he gently reassured her about how much he used to suck at the video game, he showed her what to do.
“It's all about memorizing the platforms! I was pretty bad until I stayed the weekend here,” Gregory told her, hitting the start button for one more try.
Charlie almost didn't want it to end for him. But if they didn't do anything about William tonight, there may not be another day for Gregory to play.
“So, now that we're all here...” Charlie began, subtly getting the ball rolling as she leaned her head into the flat part of Michael's shoulder. “We should probably get this over with... Right?”
In an instant, the room grew thick with tension as the stark reality of their situation came crashing down. They couldn't keep pretending like they were a happy family—not yet. Not until William was purged from the face of this earth so he couldn't hurt another soul.
Michael held onto Charlie for a moment, bracing himself for the encounter ahead. He wasn't nervous or scared of meeting his father again. He felt quite the opposite, in fact—it was going to take all his strength not to try and rip that rabbit apart with his bare hands the moment they set eyes on each other. As Michael looked to Freddy, who was watching Gregory with a reluctant expression, he had a feeling the bear might not be so docile either when faced with the man who'd tortured his new family and used his best friend's body as a puppet.
“Yeah...,” Michael admitted somberly, looking back down at Charlie. He shifted to embrace her in a proper hug, holding on tightly for as long as he could. Eventually he let her go, offering a tiny smile that he tried to inject as much confidence into as possible. “So, the plan is: you'll take Gregory down to the basement to wait with the others. Meanwhile, Freddy and I will track down William and act like we're pissed at ‘Evan’ and are trying to get him, causing William to chase us right where we need him to be—that's the gist of it, right?”
“I'll stay here with Hannah,” Vanessa offered, half-heartedly raising a hand. She grimaced as she looked at the little girl still involved in her game world. “I think I'll be more of a burden than anything if I go with you; I'll make sure she stays put and let you know if I see anything go down around here.” Vanessa patted the walkie on her belt, and Michael nodded.
“Sounds good. Oh, damn it—what should we do with Ennard?” Michael asked, shooting a frown up towards the vent. Not five seconds after their name was called, an eyeball on a wire stuck out of the opening to stare at Michael and Charlie.
The eye dropped down on a long cable, staring at them before batting its eye playfully. This made Charlie laugh, having to cover her mouth so she could actually hear what Ennard had to say.
“UNT-T-TIL THE BASEMENT, WE—E ARE YOUR BACK-UP. IF THE—THE PLAN GOES SOUTH...” Ennard paused, their voice slowing down to an eerie, glitching lull. “We rip him apart...”
The even and clarified tone of their voice sent a chill through the room. It was like every robot in the entirety of their system had agreed for once, unanimous in their hatred. Charlie nodded slowly, glad not for the first time that Ennard was on their side.
The eye blinked at Mike, its gaze turning deferential. “IS THIS-S-S A GOOD PLA-AN, MIKEY?”
Michael heaved a sigh, hating that Ennard actually had a good, solid idea. He stood, moving near the vent and looking at up the amalgamation with a stern expression.
“Yes, being back-up is good,” Michael confirmed, but before Ennard could get too excited he went on a little louder. “But listen—you've got to forget your obsession with me for this to work, okay? I need you to focus on protecting everyone else first and foremost—especially Gregory. Do you understand?”
Whether Ennard would actually take this direction into account if the situation turned dire, Michael couldn't be certain. He just hoped that if it came down to saving himself or Gregory, Ennard would continue their trend of obeying Mike’s instructions and help the child first.
Said child was currently being tapped on the shoulder by his father, who smiled down at Gregory and Hannah when they turned to him. In a light, friendly tone, Freddy said: “It looks like you two are having fun!”
“Mm-hmm!” Hannah nodded, her own grin bright and excited. “Gregory's showing me all the tricks to get the best score!”
“That is wonderful—do you mind if I borrow him for a moment?” The paw on Gregory's shoulder indicated that they didn't actually have the option to say no. Still, Freddy kept his tone measured, not wanting Hannah to sense any of his rising concern. “Perhaps you can try out some of those new tricks for yourself!”
“Oh, uh... sure.” Hannah shrugged then promptly turned back to the game, deciding it best not to argue with the giant robot. If Monty was clearly on the fritz, who knew if Freddy was being affected by the glitch too.
Freddy took Gregory's hand and led him over to his siblings so they could catch him up on the plan and make sure they were all on the same page. As he was reluctantly pulled away, Gregory made sure to impart a last piece of advice. “Make sure you get that balloon; it's more points! Okay, bye—”
Ennard’s excessive eyes trained on Gregory as Freddy led him over. It was clear to anyone that Ennard was calculating the risk in their mind. Keeping Gregory as a priority meant that Michael, in the event of an emergency, could lose his skin. This would be bad for Ennard as Michael's skin was rather homey—even if this one was made of silicone. But if Ennard let Gregory die due to neglect, then there would be no way to ever convince Mikey to potentially lend Ennard his skin someday.
Choices, choices...
“GREGORY IS TOP PRIORITY... YES,” they decided resolutely.
Charlie made a pyramid with her fingers, resting the side of her index finger against her own nose as she reiterated her part of the plan aloud. They couldn’t afford to make any mistakes in these final hours. “So I'll be running with Gregory, pretending that you're both chasing us? And we'll be meeting again in Henry's workshop. Correct?”
“Correct,” Freddy confirmed, resting both paws firmly on Gregory's shoulders and squeezing them in comfort. He would love nothing more than to leave Gregory here to get lost in the world of video games with his new friend, but unfortunately the boy was an integral part in the plan.
“We'll try to keep as much distance as we can between you guys and William,” Michael said, coming to stand next to Gregory and running an absent hand through his hair. “We'll try to bring him straight to the workshop, but if anything goes wrong... I'm sure you'll know soon enough.”
Despite his best efforts, Mike's anxiety was peeking through his façade of overconfidence. His fingers shook, snagging a lock of Gregory's hair which made the boy flinch. “Crap—sorry.”
With an annoyed huff directed towards his own self-doubt, Michael crouched and wrapped his arms around the boy in a tight hug. Freddy released Gregory's shoulders, letting the boys have their moment. As Michael felt Gregory's telltale warmth of life, he was able to take a deep breath—soon, this would be all over and the worst thing they'd have to worry about in the near future was which hotel they'd try and finagle their way into staying at so everyone could get a nice, long rest.
“Keep Charlie safe, kid—she needs at least one strong brother to look out for her...,” Michael murmured into Gregory's ear, managing a smirk.
Gregory's eyes were clamped shut as Michael hugged him. He managed to squeeze his arms around the elder boy in a strong hold. It felt different being told to be the one to protect Charlie. Normally it was the other way around. This made Gregory feel the need to put his best foot forward and to be brave for the both of them, despite having the utmost confidence Charlie would always have his back.
“Are you ready to do this?” Charlie asked, watching as Gregory took a deep breath. He patted his brother's shoulder, knowing if he stayed any longer that he would never leave the comforting glow of his family.
“Yup. Let’s go. Love you guys—and don't let the stupid rabbit bully you.” After stepping away, Gregory glanced to Hannah and sent the girl a smile. “I'll be back to play video games with you later. You know, if you want to...”
“Mm-hmm,” Hannah replied absently, fully immersed in her game world. Vanessa watched her from the vanity, deciding it best to wait for the tension in the room to ease before revealing that she was going to be Hannah's babysitter. Hopefully the girl would just play on the arcade machine for the rest of the night anyway—at least she didn't need to worry about taking a break to get some food...
“Love you, too,” Michael said to his siblings, shoving his hands in his pockets as he watched Charlie and Gregory head for the door. Freddy was still at his side for a moment, but as Michael looked up at him the bear suddenly rushed towards the pair and scooped Gregory into his arms in one fluid motion.
“I am sorry, I could not help myself,” Freddy apologized, clutching his son in a grip almost too tight for comfort. “Stay safe, superstar—I love you so much. We will see you both again very soon and put all of this at an end.”
Michael had to look away or else he'd join the hug... and then Charlie would surely add herself to the pile and they'd just end up standing in a huddle until daybreak.
Gregory was robbed of his breath from the intense squeeze. His dad was worried, but with good reason. It wasn't long before Gregory hugged him back, knowing the bear wasn't likely to let go until he felt a smidge of returned affection.
“—Love you too, Dad!” Gregory grunted. It wasn't an annoyed grunt, more like one that struggled for breath. The hold betrayed how scared Freddy really was for him with these strange new emotions. “I'll see you again real soon...”
In the vents, some muted thumping was heard as Ennard retreated. They were to move into the hall, set on following the pair. At the door Charlie had to look away, unable to bear watching them say what could be their collective and final goodbye.
Satisfied that his affection for his son had been thoroughly expressed, Freddy set Gregory back on the floor. Though he wore a smile, his bright blue eyes betrayed his worry of all the things that were to come. However, Freddy was designed to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and this time was no exception. A simultaneous wave from Freddy and Michael was the signal for Charlie and Gregory to slip out the back door. The boys watched until the pair were out of sight, then turned to each other.
“Ready, big guy?” Michael asked, holding up a hand to Freddy for a high-five.
“Ready,” Freddy confirmed, smacking his palm against Michael's without hesitation. As Michael moved to the front door, Freddy paused a moment before going to Hannah's side. He bent slightly, speaking softly as he told her: “Hannah? We to step out for a little bit, but we will be back shortly—Vanessa is going to stay here with you until then.”
The name ripped a jagged hole in Hannah's 8-bit world. Her eyes widened in fear as she looked back and forth between Freddy and the night guard. “C-Charlie's gone, too...?”
“Just for a bit,” Freddy reassured, placing a hand on top of her head to provide some comforting pressure, his expression nothing but sincere. “Vanessa will not harm you—I promise.”
Hannah sniffled, and for a horrible moment Michael thought she was about to cry. Then, confident in the animatronic's word she gave a little nod, shooting Vanessa a warning glare not to mess with her before returning to her game. With that task out of the way, the bear met Michael at the door.
As one they exited the sanctuary of Freddy's room and stepped into the cold, foreboding air of the main Pizzaplex.

kirby reed & kinsey oliver: i had this in the tags originally and then was like?? idiot what are u doing sO : kirby is in the fbi now....... and probably would have been (or would have been in training but we can fudge the details ok) just starting out when everything happens with kins and mal the second time,,,, so What If she were to have helped mike (and his team) find them???? i simply think that these girls as her first case is sexy and would be exactly what she needs to throw herself into her job to rly stop ppl like charlie<3 and the man that took kins and mal.
bethany bixler & kinsey oliver: ok so it was a no on the hell priest with a love for pain and pleasure but.... what about deadites. totally different from creatures from hell........... but also we can go Not That and beth could meet kins while shes on tour w a band or something like that. kins if ur nice to her for one (1) second beth can get u backstage to meet the band for free ok just one (1) kind gesture.
jules louden & kinsey oliver: mal is related to the loudens,,, there is not a doubt in my mind that they attended parties at mals house for holidays/special occasions and to think that kinsey would not also be there is absolute insanity. jules/mal/kins (and stef too if she would like to join ofc<3) were probably an unstoppable trio when they were rly young,,, just annoying the absolute hell out of their relatives and gossiping. complete menaces if u see them walking towards u RUN. u know those holidays at ur aunt n uncles where u beg ur parents to sleep over for the night.... yeah thats them. their campouts in mals treehouse<3 but immediate Not Sweet jules comin Back From The Dead.. the first holiday that she attends and maybe mal brings kins with her.... how different their interactions would be.. but also so the same bc they all went through this horrible trauma and still came out on the other sside blah blah u kno. i think they could be neat.
michael roth & kinsey oliver: YEAH BOI. theres so mcuh that we can do with that but what can i write here that we havent already talked about???? what i cAN do is tell u some of my favorite ideas ok. im a sucker for letter threads so ,,,, if kins wants to keep writin mike letters he will answer them. or like. The FIRST letter she sends to start it off. the mental debate he has ab answering. mike interviewing them at the hospital but lowkey having the Worst Time bc he looks at kins and sees hannah and wants to scream and cry but also hug her. IDK i can keep goin i just we need to write them ok. kins (and mal) visiting mike and the others at the station a few months after theyre found to say thanks or smth idkidk thats probably dumb and a bad thread idea. they just have so much potential and the fact that we havent written them yet is a crime @graecland.

New Moon Rewatch
I need a place to share my thoughts while I rewatch new moon!
Girl is so overdramatic about turning 18😭. Trust me no one feels adult at 18, you have time it’s okay
Edward is SO FINE? And for once he has the common sense telling her that her age is just fine. But also Edward can change me anytime
Idc Edward is so gentle(lack of better phrasing) to her, the things he says? Girl it’s giving me butterflies. To bad he leaves her in like 10 minutes
Edward throwing her into glass when there was a DROP of blood and making is worse is something else
OHHH so Bella saying that something is gonna separate them and the only way is to change her kinda just gives Edward the edge to leave. We know this decision has been premeditated since the accident in phoenix but this gave him a reason. I don’t like the fact he left but I understand why he did.
Edward leaving kills me, I know he did it to protect to and we all know he’s lying through his white ass teeth. But “I don’t Want you” after Bella finally feels wanted? I hate this for both parties. Edward cares deeply for Bella and doesn’t want anything to harm her and hurts himself. He leaves his own family for her pretty much. He wants her to have a normal life. But Bella, she knows she doesn’t fit with humans. She feels out of place. So finally found a world where she knows she belongs and it’s suddenly taken from her. Her depression makes a lot more sense. Edward should have been more gentle but his brain is permanently underdeveloped
Shout out to Charlie for caring for Bella so much
Yea Bella getting on the motorcycle of the dude who literally tried to ASSAULT HER?? While she was with her friend??? Dumbest decision this girl made and she’s a mom at 18
“Age is just a number baby what are you 40 now” 😭 pre werewolf Jacob <3
BELLA IS SO FINEE!!!!!
Mike is so… clueless 😭 Bella does not like your ass man
Jacob telling Bella that he loves her and will wait then immediately insulting her friend and ghosting her and she litteraly said “I don’t want you to go anywhere “ :/
Jacob saying Bella is a liar bc she kept the cullens secret when he is doing the same thing. And knowing how Eddy boy left her and leaves her in a similar way.
Bella going to a once full and beautiful meadow where her and Edward fell in love to a dead and dry place. Mirroring their relationship in a way. Then Edward appearing (seriously how does that happen) to her
I love Bella, slapping Sam just bc he was rude to her? That’s my girl.
Emily is so pretty
Just noticed the drastic difference between how Jacob and Edward dresses😭 is def bc of Alice and the era he grew up in
It’s kinda funny now Bella was so desperate to see Edward again she went cliff jumping which led to her reunion with Edward
Jacob knowing who was on the other line and not letting Bella speak to him for what? And saying that “he has a funeral to plan” letting Edward think that Bella is dead.
Edward may be trying to kill himself but DAMN he’s fine
Edward ready to end his existence just bc he thinks Bella is dead then upon seeing her just holds her and says heaven. Woo Lordy
Who did edwards makeup for the Italy scenes😭 it does not match the rest of his body. His face is super pale and his chest is tan - as I say that it get fixed in the next scene LMAOOO
AROO <3 he is an funky little man
Edward and Bella are so overdramatic as usual but they are together now they can be cringe together <3
Bella offering her life for Edward, I mean that way she gets what she wants (vampirism)
POOR CHARLIE all he wants is his daughter safe
And the scene where Edward is begging Bella for her forgiveness telling her how sorry he is and how he truly believed he did the right thing <3 I love them
ROSALIEEEEEEE ,I love her so much. She’s been hurt so much and yet she’s one of the strongest characters emotionally. She’s not mean to Bella. Bella just wants exactly what Rosalie wish she didn’t have
“Don’t make me choose, because it will be him. It will always be him” the moment she fell in love with Edward there was no other choice for her

final thoughts: supernatural season 7
holy shit i finally did it. "it only took you a week" it felt like 5 years okay. i'm not good at watching shows.
anyway. overall i'm gonna say i liked season 7 more than i liked season 6, but the bad episodes were imo much worse than s6's bad episodes, at least from what i can remember.
season 6 was overall really disjointed and clumsily handled, and i just watched it 2 weeks ago and i can barely remember what happened in it now that i'm trying to. wow. season 7 was a lot more coherent and didn't try to cram 3 different miniplots into one season. i appreciate the effort honestly.
that said, some of the episodes really were. not good. and some of the ways they used to resolve conflicts and move on were bizarre and contrived (i'm absolutely talking about cas "taking" sam's crazy for himself. genuinely what the fuck was that). the filler episodes felt dropped in without any regard to the context of the rest of the season (why did the "sam gets legally married" episode happen immediately after the one where they're #2 on the fbi's most wanted list? that doesn't make any amount of sense) and a lot of the episodes were honestly just boring.
and i don't know why, but this season specifically had a lot of issues with pacing. too many episodes had way too much buildup only for a "quick fix" to be presented in the last 5-10 minutes. a handful of episodes like that can be fine, especially when you need the time to build up the overarching plot of the season, but this was like... nearly every episode. 30 minutes of nearly unrelated drama followed by "here's your deus ex machina! finish the episode so we can go home already." it just came off as unskilled writing to me. i know episodic storytelling has to tie each episode up with a nice bow, but there's only so many times you can throw a simple deus ex machina-like solution to the characters and not expect me to find it contrived.
now i do like the leviathans though. or at least the concept of them. i wasn't overly invested in their plot (though honestly? i kinda like dick roman. he's annoying enough for me to appreciate) but the idea of them is really interesting. you can see this conglomeration of several different monsters within the species, so they fit well within the context they've been given. primordial monsters that came before all the others? well of course they'd have traits of those who came after them. it's like evolution: the later-born monsters became more specialized to their environment i guess. the worldbuilding there is intriguing enough for me.
i'm sick as a dog so i'm having trouble coming up with other thoughts. i really liked meg's involvement in the season; i thought her role throughout was well-placed and well-developed. the weird romance subplot between her and cas is, well, weird, but i don't dislike it either. i'm a sucker for demon/angel dynamics, even if the angel is totally crazy. but every time they hint at it i keep thinking about the destiel love confession and start laughing.
crowley was kinda weird and boring this season tbh. very disappointing as a crowley fan. the ghost bobby plot was kinda interesting, but i'm not 100% sure how i feel about it. kevin tran is a loser and i'm a big fan of losers. i think the show tried a little too hard with charlie, but i don't dislike her. she's no becky though smh. my taste in fictional characters is bad and charlie is too good, i guess.
well anyway, dean and cas are in purgatory now and sam is a soggy sad boy as usual, so with that i'm going to take another break from this wretched show and watch something good, the haunting of bly manor :) i really want to get through mike flanagan's entire compendium of work because hoooooly shit he is a great idk. do you call him a filmmaker even though it's miniseries. idk the terminology. whatever

Note
for the ask game, 001 heartstopper, 002 byler, 003 bobby cañero-reed :)
literally such good choices too
Heartstopper
Favorite character: Charlie my beloved. But also Elle <3
Least Favorite character: Harry, no explanation needed
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Charlie/Nick, Tao/Elle, Tara/Darcy, Mr. Ajayi/Mr. Farouk, annnd I can't think of a fifth
Character I find most attractive: hmm I'm not really physically ~attracted~ to people in general per say and most of the cast is younger than me anyways so I don't know if I feel comfortable calling any of them attractive tbh
Character I would marry: Tara
Character I would be best friends with: Tori, I feel like we'd vibe well. But also Nick, and also Elle (and, like, pretty much all of them)
An unpopular opinion: I'm not really involved in the fandom so I'm not sure how unpopular this really is, but - Tao's a really good friend, actually, and I'll fight anyone who tries to argue with me on this
My Canon OTP: Nick & Charlie
My Non-canon OTP: none of them I think?
Most Badass Character: Nick, my brave boy
Most Epic Villain: Ben (though I don't know if I'd call him epic)
Pairing I am not a fan of: Charlie/Ben, for obvious reasons
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): literally can't think of any
Favourite Friendship: the Paris squad <3
Character I most identify with: Nick, and also Tao
Character I wish I could be: Elle, she's amazing and I love her with all my heart
Byler
When I started shipping them: season 2
My thoughts: I think to me they're more of a lowkey ship, like if they just remain friends for the rest of the show I won't be devastated or anything, as long as their relationship is handled well. But I do ship them and their relationship is probably my favorite of the entire show (esp their relationship in season 2). I just love how much they trust and rely on each other, and how much they care about each other and the fact that they would literally do anything for each other. And like, I just want them to be happy. They've been through so much, let them be happy, I'm begging.
What makes me happy about them: Pretty much the entirety of s2 is my happy place when it comes to them. Also like I said, they care so much about each other, they would literally risk their lives for each other and have in fact done that and more, and they understand each other so so well. Also the shed scene in 2x08 makes me cry every time I watch it, so there's that.
What makes me sad about them: Just the way their relationship has been going since season 3. Even if they're not going to happen, even from a purely platonic standpoint, it's so disappointing to see Mike go from completely devoted to Will to basically not giving him the time of the day in s3 and parts of s4, and while I'll wait for the end of the show before passing any final judgements, right now comparing where they were in season to 2 to where they have been ever since Mike got a girlfriend makes me kind of sad (no hate to El though, love her)
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don't think I read enough fanfic to have an opinion on thiss
Things I look for in fanfic: Again, I don't read enough fanfic
My wishlist: First of all I want them to be happy, especially Will who hasn't known a day's peace in four years - LET THEM BE HAPPY, PLEASE. As long as they're happy and alive and on the same page, with no more misunderstandings and hurt feelings between them, I'm good. I just want them to be a team and to take care of each other.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: literally don't ship either of them with anyone else
My happily ever after for them: They confess their feelings for each other, preferably on Mike's initiative, get together and live happily with the full support of their friends and family without ever having to deal with anything related to Vecna or the Upside Down ever again, and Hopper despairs of the fact that his kids seem doomed to fall in love with Michael Wheeler.
Bobby Cañero-Reed
Bobby my beloved I miss him so much thank you for sending him <3
How I feel about this character: I love him, I miss him, he deserves everything good and I'll forever mourn the fact that we don't get to see him get that (although he was in a pretty good place where we left him so that's good at least)
Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Liam
My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: him and Elena own my entire heart
My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't think I have one?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I mean this isn't just limited to him but like... to actually get to see him in s3! Like I said we left him in a pretty good place and I'm grateful for that, but I would have loved to see him navigate his relationship with his first boyfriend, learn more about the lgbtq+ community, and man the love triangle would have been everything and I'm devastated that we didn't get to see it play out. And also just in general I would have loved to see more scenes with Elena, they're the best sibling duo.
Favorite friendship for this character: the boy squad! they're dumbasses and I love and miss them dearly
My crossover ship: none I don't think, although I did read a few fics where Cartero meet Tyrus and I am here for that friendship

if Charlie had known she obviously wouldn't have told him. But either way Evan is stuck fair now and he doesn't know why because he doesn't know that he did it and he's scared because he knows his dad is a bad person and will hurt people, And there's nothing him or his friends can do about it. And it's all very very scary as previously mentione. Evan just wants to go back to the way things Were before he died.
Yeah don't worry he gets beaten up a lot in his debut issue and then continues to be beat up throughout the rest of his existence.
Yes if William knew the full gravity of what he was telling Henry he wouldn't have if he had known back then William wouldn't have ever told anyone ever about anything. And that's why he doesn't want Michael telling anyone about anything ever. After all for all they know Charlie could join a Hay Group or something tomorrow so it's not worth the risk.
Yeah Mike probably could have done a lot of damage with his powers but every time he uses his ability he has to physically hurt himself since he needs blood. But he still was scared that there was some extra part of his Abilities that made him kill Evan. It took him a whole Jeremy to stop worrying that 1 day he could snap and hurt someone or something. And Mike does think the explosion was Evans doing.
She was. So she didn't talk about it. She was scared of what her family would think of her and her friends so she didn't think about it. She buried all of that deep down and just focused on being Charlie the normal girl. Henry's a good guy I he tries to be a good dad but he's honestly a bit ignorant when it comes to most of that stuff. If he knew he'd honestly just want his daughter to do what she's doing now not being a mutant. Just a person who happens to be one...
And of course Henry doesn't hate William or his children after all william's his best friend and He practically helped raise William's kids. And he knows that William would never do anything like what happened to Evan but they are still mutants... Which means he's willing to believe that Michael just went crazy because of his mutation and no other reason. I mean have you seen Michael? Looks pretty monster to me. And William is a good truthful person who would never lie about something like that... (I haven't got that far yet LOL)
Yeah it would probably disturb some people but not enough that putting it in the newspaper would raise too many eyebrows except people in the government who tried to regulate silly things like "killer robots" and "crime". And plus it doesn't take long to find people who are willing to buy his silly robots and also capturing people on his own using his silly robots And his restaurants themed around silly robots is surprisingly easy.
Exactly along with the details that William does miss his son. Family dinners are boring and kind of sad when it's just him and his dead daughter inside of circus baby. He misses their family, And though he will enjoy cutting Mike open and finding out What he did that made Michael like that he will also hope that this time away Has made his son mature and realized how good a father William is.
Michael thought of that a bunch but until Jeremy it was the only option other than living on the run for the rest of his life or moving into the sewer which was like last resort. He does still wonder time to time if maybe that side of his family would have accepted him no questions asked but he knows it's unlike. Also he's really grateful that he never went to New York when like inferno happens in a couple of years (Inferno was the Marvel X men event I based my AU name on because it's really cool)
Well, Jeremy isn't usually the type to forge opinions on his phone but having just turned 18 And closing out his last year of high school, He was a bit more willing than usual to take his chances on the strange purple 17-year-old boy in his church's basement. Especially after all this was a church and the poor guy probably was just looking for help and it'd be bad if Jeremy to turn him away.. So he told me where to hide in the basement and then brought in something to eat and then continued to bring him something to eat, And began to talk with him. And the talking turned into a friendship. It was all very sweet.
Michael technically died at 17 though it's not really death. What happened to him is William somehow before accidentally killing him messed up the part of his mutation that made him resistant to his own fire somehow making him resistant to like everything they instead fire.... Basically as long as a part of him exists he won't die his soul/consciousness will stay around. He also still grows up just a lot slower.
I would scream into the void about my X men AU if you all let me

The bath part 3
Tumblr media
You haven’t been able to look at Michael let alone talk to him.
Thankfully, you had an excuse: Charlie.
You had left your room and locked yourself in a broom closet you used to hide from Grace in when she got into one of her moods. You know the my-husband-doesn’t-love-me-and-somehow-its-your-fault-even-though-he-sees-you-like-a-younger- cousin-but-you're-twenty-and-pretty-and-people-fuck-their-cousins-in-my-neck-of-the-woods-so-you’re-a-threat-to-me moods.
“Y/N, I know you’re in there. Look, I’m sorry Michael took your bath again.” Polly apologized from the other side of the door. “It can’t be that bad, girl. Tell Aunt Polly why this time was bad.”
“Your son was naked.” You whisper back.
The older woman chuckled. “Plenty of girls would kill to see him that way, you know.”
-----
“You’ve been avoiding her all month, boy.” His mother pointed out as they had their weekly dinner together.
“Every time I try to talk to her I get tongue-tied and she runs away, mum. Doesn’t make it easier that Tommy’s got her busy at all hours to make sure no one gets to Charlie.” Michael told his molder. If he couldn’t confide in his mum, then who could he confide in?
“You leave that to your mummy, my sweet boy.” His mother said squishing his cheeks like he was a child and not a twenty-two-year-old man.
And sure enough, his mother enlists Esme and John for the job.
“This is stupid, John.” Michael told his cousin when he saw what Esme’s idea was.
“Esme knows what she’s doing, Mikey.” John assured him and left him inside the broom closet.
-----
“Y/N, I need your help with something. Midwife said I can’t be doing much because of the baby.” Esme dragged you to the closet.
Vomit, piss, dirt, what would it be this time?
“Get me the bucket and I’ll have John do the rest, sweetheart.” She told you as she pushed you into the closet.
“What bucket, Esme?” you asked just as you heard the door close shut.
You try to scream when a hand taps your shoulder.
“Michael, what the fuck?” you asked once you regained composure.
“I’m sorry, this was the only way to get you to talk to me.” He said sheepishly.
It was kind of cute, really.
“Mission accomplished, Mike.” You said wryly.
“I’m sorry, I keep taking your bath. I should know better and I’ve told Tommy I'm not doing it on purpose, but it just keeps happening.” He apologized, holding onto her shoulders as if she’d leave if he didn’t hold on to her.
And she would, because she doesn’t want to even look at him from the embarrassment.
“I accept your apology, Michael. Can I just leave now?” you said looking at the door and reaching out for the door knob.
“Not yet, he needs to ask you out to dinner properly.” Esme was leaning on the other side of the door, making sure the two of you were stuck inside. “Go on, Michael, Polly told me you like Y/N.”
“Esme, please, I can ask her out once we leave the broom closet.” He pleaded with his cousin-in-law.
“Michael, would you like to go see a picture with me? I am free next Friday, there’s a new picture that day, your treat, pick me up at seven at my dad’s house.” You said giving in.
“Six, we can have drinks at the Garrison. You can wear that brooch you stole from Grace.” He said helping her push the door open.
