Some headcanons for Kaga that I have.
I was originally going to make one shorts on them, but I rather just write them out lol.
Kaga was very mature for his age, which was one of the reasons why he didn't make friends. Even with him being very young, he wasn't at the same level as the rest of the children. He was an outcast.
He was mostly around adults than children his own age, so that would explain the maturity.
Whenever Kaga witnesses a child his age throwing a tantrum, he will watch the whole thing like 🧍🏻♂️. He would mostly be annoyed by the loud sound and stay close to his parents. However, if he did get involved, he would make it worse.
Whenever he was around kids his age, he would mostly stand aside from the rest. No one really understood him and found him weird from how different he was.
During classes, if he already knew the subject well, he would be learning new topics and advanced one as well. He was always sitting alone in classes, so no one really bothered him.
Kaga was mostly alone. That's why he doesn't really care much about making friends. (Before the science club came)
He isn't scared to say what he thinks and feels. He doesn't care either if the person gets hurt from the truth.
Whenever he entered middle and high school, he was distant from his classmates and would rather work alone than in partners or groups. He worked faster than the rest of his classmates.
He was the teachers' favorite since he was very intelligent for someone so young, hard working, and very eccentric. He stood out from the crowd.
He took a lot of classes for playing instruments, art, robotics, etc. His parents wanted to give him the best and let him explore the different options. Kaga does learn quickly, so that's the main reason why, and it would keep him busy.
This is the reason why he's always working with his hands and not taking breaks. He's been so busy with his hands almost all of his life, so all he knows is work. The science club (mostly Yaku) makes him take a break.
When he started to learn new languages, he would also learn about their cultures.
Kaga is a straight A+ student. He made sure to always make the perfect score. His parents didn't waste all that money for nothing. Whenever he made an A, or -A or a B, he would learn from his mistake and do better next time.
I have this cute headcanon of Kaga's parents giving Kaga a lab coat that scientists wear for his birthday. Kaga loves it and still wears it even during Akademi.
Even with his parents working in Saikou Corp, they always make time to celebrate holidays with Kaga and spend time with him. He is their only son.
Kaga does show negativity, but it really depends on the situation he is in. It's rare for him.
This is a headcanon, but it most likely happened in another universe: With being in Saikou Corp with his parents, he met Saisho Saikou in person by accident. This was when he was a child.
Sorry for not posting lol I've been on Reddit lately and school stuff.

Hi it's me again, the 𓆣 anon! I saw you answered my first request and to say the least I was ENCHANTED with your writing style! And your English is so fluent I could hardly tell it wasn't your first language! Anyways, I have another idea for you😈😈😈
Kid with a girl who is his polar opposite! Positive, friendly, optimistic, the sweetest bundle of sunshine you'd ever meet! She's always cracking jokes and she's always trying to see the good in people! That's what drew Kid to her in the first place, she's so sweet she's /stupid/. She's too friendly and trusting, like a grandma getting scammed on phone calls. Kid doesn't exactly want to put a damper on that sunshine of hers, but he also doesn't want her getting hurt! So he sticks around her. All. The. Time. Dragging her away from creeps on the street trying to kidnap her cuz they told her they had a puppy in their car. He's like scary dog privileges.
Make sure you drink good water and eat something tasty! Maybe treat yourself to a cookie if you can!
- 𓆣
Just like magnets
Tw: a creepy guy
Pairing: Death, the kid x Opposite!Reader
Synopsis: So different, yet together?
Genre: fluff
Author's note: Thank you sm, anon😭 I'm happy that you liked my style and sorry for the late post😔 Anyway, there may be grammatical errors (as always) and more under the cut!!
---------------------------------------
✤ | I don't even know how the two of you got together
✤ | I suppose you were a friend of Maka and Soul or maybe Black Star, since you both are pretty energetic, tho you do get good grades and he's not that dense (?)
✤ | Kid was really surprised when he first met you
✤ | Even if you weren't close friends yet, he was worried about you
✤ | He started to hang out more with you, just in case someone tries something funny
✤ | In that time, he also became closer to you
✤ | Each time someone tried something bad on you and he was in the vicinity, they wouldn't be left alone after doing such crime in his words
✤ | With time, people of the Akademi understood that it's better not to be a creep, or Death, the kid will come after them
✤ | The group would probably tease him about this
✤ | Actually, it's just Black star and Soul
✤ | Maybe, once in a full moon, Liz and Patty will also tease him
✤ | Maybe his "protection instincts" got slightly worse once you started dating
✤ | He comes from a good place, but he can get a little over the top sometimes
✤ | It may or may not have caused some argument of sorts
✤ | But he still loves you with the way you are
✤ | Liz says that he fell for someone who couldn't be more different from him
✤ | She's not meaning to say something bad about you
✤ | She's just trying to tease him
✤ | You match his father's energy a lot of times (when things aren't getting serious)
----------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry I didn't write it sooner, school is killing me😭 and yesterday I was busy all day, so I couldn't write either😔 anyway, I hope you like it and that's it for now, bye bye!!

__
The next week of school would be optional, and lo and behold, not many students showed up. Ayano had never experienced an “optional” week of school. It basically functioned the same, but with at least half of the students. This was evident because the only people who showed up in class were Ayano herself, Osana, Raibaru, Kuu, Midori, Enpitsu, Beshi, and Emile.
For some reason- possibly for comfort in the empty classroom, they had all come to class early and were either chatting amongst themselves or looking at their phones.
Midori, clearly in a chatting mood, walked over to Kuu and Ayano’s desk. “Guess what, you guys?” She beams, holding up her phone. “My favorite video game creator made another update!! And he’s since responded to every single one of my questions! Cool, isn’t it?!”
Kuu raises an eyebrow at Midori’s phone, reading the new post. It seemed to just be about some random tweaks to the game. Ayano herself didn’t keep up with the game, but from what Midori has told her, she could confirm that these “tweaks” really didn’t affect the game at all.
Ayano was sure that Kuu had figured that out, as the blue-haired girl simply returns to her own phone. “Doesn’t he have all sorts of weird allegations against him?” She asks, although not looking entirely interested.
At first, Midori froze, her expression looking shocked. Ayano couldn’t place if it was because she was surprised Kuu knew that or she was surprised that Kuu paid attention at all. Midori then blows a raspberry at Kuu’s comment. “Eh, nothing’s proven. You know what those weirdo fans are like.”
“It’s best not to be in denial, Midori.” Ayano comments, and quickly adds on before Midori can start whining. “I’m saying that hypothetically, of course. If legitimate proof comes out, you have to cut ties with that guy immediately.” She says, playing the responsible role since Kuu seemed too caught up in her phone to care.
Despite Ayano’s suggestion, Midori just huffs. “Yeah, I’ve got it. I’m totally sure that those allegations were total lies, though. I have good taste in creators, after all!” She says, puffing out her chest proudly.
Ayano simply nods at her claim, and Midori’s attention immediately shifts to Kuu. “Who are you texting, anyway, Kuu? Aren’t you usually reading a book around this time?” She asks, leaning over to take a better look at Kuu’s phone.
Immediately, Kuu turns off her phone and glares at Midori through the reflection of her now blank screen. She closes her eyes and returns her expression to one of boredom. “None of your business.” She claims, before standing up checking the time. “I’ll be back in time for class.” The bluenette says briefly, walking out of the classroom with no further explanation.
“Aw. Guess I scared her off.” Midori says, although she immediately takes Kuu’s seat and scoots closer to Ayano’s desk. She leans her elbows onto her desk and smiles widely. “I bet she’s talking to a boy.”
Raising an eyebrow, Ayano gives a generally doubtful look. “Kuu? Why would she bother?” She asks.
“Because that boy from 1-1 likes her a lot.” Midori claims, placing her cheeks in her hands with an excited smile. “It’s totally canon in the Akademi High universe!”
“Who? Seiyo?” Ayano guesses. That was her best guess since Seiyo seemed to like Ajia so much. Although, Ajia had more personality than Kuu did. Neither he nor Ajia came to school today, so it was likely that that was incorrect.
Midori gives Ayano a confused look and shakes her head. “What? No. There’s no way you haven’t noticed!”
“...Juku? Iruka?” Ayano continues guessing, and Midori’s head shaking gets more and more dramatic.
“Ugh! The pink-haired one, Ayano! I know you know who he is!” Midori huffs, clearly impatient with all of Ayano’s wrong guesses.
As Ayano pauses, clearly not knowing who Midori was talking about, Midori groans dramatically, flopping back into her chair. “You have no sense of fun, Ayano. I’m talking about Otohiko Meichi. The boy who’s always late or in the nurse’s office. Duh!!” She sighs, “I can’t believe you’ve got me all worked up about this! I don’t even care about romance like Mai or Pippi would. I was just yapping because I thought you’d be interested!”
“What made you think that?” Ayano asks, furrowing her eyebrows at the green-haired girl.
“You and your mom always talked about romance and ‘the one’ and all that jazz. What, do you two not talk about that sort of stuff anymore?” Midori asks, “If it wasn’t cooking or housework it was 100% some weird, red-glassed fantasy.”
Ayano’s mother did always talk about when Ayano would find ‘the one’. Thinking back on that, Ayano realizes that she hasn’t told her mother about Taro yet. For some reason, she couldn’t place in her mind what exactly her mother would think once Ayano told her. Happiness would be the normal thought-process, right?
Realizing Ayano hadn’t answered yet, she looks up to Midori. “No, I’m sure she’s still interested. I don’t care much about other people’s love lives, though.” She says, resting her face in her hand.
From the corner of her eye, Ayano spots a familiar head of purple peek into the room. When Ayano looks over, she’s met by Tsuruzo’s smile. He walks over briefly and pulls a chair up to her desk.
“Ayano.” Tsuruzo smiles at her, leaning towards her as he lowers his voice. “We’re unable to do our special act this week due to the recent events, but we could use some help today if you’re open to it. It might be best to prepare a week earlier, anyway.”
“Hm.” Ayano lowers her gaze to her desk, remembering that she did somewhat agree to help him with whatever his club needed. “What do you need me to do?” She asks, looking at the clock on the wall. It was only a few minutes until classes started, so it wasn’t likely that she would be able to do whatever favor Tsuruzo needed at this moment. But in the end, this favor would add to her reputation, so it was worth listening to.
“Well,” Tsuruzo sits up straight and tugs on one of the coils of his ponytail lightly in thought. “I suppose advertisements can wait for now- considering that most of the students are simply too distressed to even come to school. It would be inconsiderate to walk around with flyers.”
Thinking for a minute, Tsuruzo presses his lips together, before his expression brightens up as he finally thinks of something. “Ah, I know! We have a couple of students who were willing to lend a hand- or, more precisely opinion- for the outfits we have planned out at the moment.” He folds one leg over the other and leans back into the seat, nearly bumping into Midori in the process.
“Do you want me to ask those students about the designs you have prepared now?” Ayano guessed, and rightfully so, apparently, as Tsuruzo gave her a bright smile in return.
“Precisely, my dear.” Tsuruzo raised a hand to his mouth and looked up as he recalled something. “I believe the students in question were…” He hums in thought, and slowly lists off each person. “Kiba, Fureddo, Mai, Efude, and… Enpitsu, I believe.” Tsuruzo looks to Enpitsu’s seat, not noticing that he’d left the room. With a light shrug, he turns back to Ayano with a smile. “Of course, this isn’t a necessity. One of the Drama Club members will likely do it eventually, but it would be very helpful if you got it done before us.”
Ayano nods. “I understand. I’ll start during lunch.” She says simply. Despite her lack of emotion on the matter, her decisive answer seemed to tell Tsuruzo enough about her intentions.
“Ah, as expected! I’ll be able to put quite the word in for you to Kizana.” Tsuruzo warmly stated, smiling and standing up from the seat. “I’ll rendezvous with you during cleaning time to ask how the process has gone. Feel free to take your time, my dear. We do have all week!” He calls, waving Ayano goodbye as he left the classroom.
Ayano’s gaze dragged back from the purple-haired male back to the green-haired girl in front of her. “So is that your ‘the one’?” She asks, not even looking interested, but probably attempting to keep a conversation going. She did have a thing for talking, after all.
Part of Ayano almost forgot that her obsession with Taro wasn’t supposed to be spread around like gossip. She quickly bites her tongue before she reacts in any intense manner. “No. He’s not….” Ayano falters, trying to recall what it was that people usually said in situations like this. “..my type.”
Midori raises her eyebrows in surprise, not interested in the topic but content that Ayano was actually commenting on it. “Yeah? So you have a type, then?” She asks, kicking her feet lightly with an expectant smile.
Ayano frowns, realizing that she accidentally contributed to the conversation. “..I don’t know. I’m just not attracted to him. He’s too…” Hesitating again, Ayano tries her best to think of some flaw that wasn’t “he isn’t Taro Yamada”. “..pretty. I don’t think I like pretty faces on guys.” She says.
Yes, that worked. It somewhat lined up with something that Taro wasn’t, and something that Tsuruzo was. Of course, this was generally speaking. In Ayano’s opinion, even if Taro wasn’t generally pretty, he was still pretty to her, and frankly, that was all that mattered.
“Pretty is a, uh… decisive word, I think.” Midori states in thought, Enpitsu entering the classroom suddenly catching her eye. “Hey, Enpitsu!” She slides her chair over to his desk, causing a loud screech to erupt from it. Wrapping her arms around his chair, she smiles up at him. “So, I get that girls are generally the ‘pretty’ when it comes to girls and guys, but would you consider Tsuruzo ‘pretty’?” She asks, leaning her elbow on the chair and her face in her palm.
Enpitsu raises an eyebrow at her before sighing and yanking his chair away from Midori, almost making her fall out of her own chair due to the weight she was putting on his chair. “No, that doesn’t fit. He’s more-so graceful and mature than just ‘pretty’.”
Midori hums loudly, and puts her hand up to her chin in thought. “I mean, I guess I can see that. I feel like ‘pompous’ or something fits better, though.” She claims, before smiling and asking. “Alright, so, then who would you describe as pretty? In fact, someone in this classroom right now.”
Smiling in his typical narcissistic manner, Enpitsu opens his mouth to reply, but Midori suddenly emphasizes. “Not yourself!”
Enpitsu rolled his eyes at Midori’s emphasis but continued to look around to the rest of the students in the class. “Hmm….” He groans. “Literally no one, Midori.”
The orange-haired boy sticks to that statement, even as he gets disapproving looks from the other few students. Emile chuckles as he types on his phone. “Hey, at least he hates us all the same. Better to be not-pretty together, right?” He jokes, immediately lightening the mood.
“If not pretty, then what would you describe us as, Enpitsu?” Raibaru asks, for once taking her attention off of Osana to socialize.
Enpitsu even seemed surprised at the comment, but still looked up to the ceiling in thought. “Hmm, let’s see…” He raises a hand to Beshi, who sat near the front. “The half-dyed hair is a typically ‘cool’ look, Beshi. But since I know you’re such a mama’s girl, your personality does dull that stereotype.”
Beshi scoffs, but even somehow does that politely. “I-I am not a mama’s girl! I’m.. an obedient child.”
Shrugging, Enpitsu mutters, “Same thing.” Before turning to Osana. “Osana, your old pigtails would have been considered ‘cute’ if you had a ‘cute’ face, but it’s more so ‘pretty’. I guess now that you just have a ponytail you could be considered pretty, but..” Enpitsu pauses in thought before seeming to lose interest. “Eh, who knows. You had your pigtails for so long that the ponytail looks weird now.”
Osana scoffs this time, although hers clearly had a more “irritated” affect than Beshi’s. “You can’t live without insulting someone, can you?” She flips her ponytail a bit proudly. “I think I look lovely!”
“It’s good to think positive, Osana.” Enpitsu says, although it clearly was meant to be more sarcastic than an actual compliment. He doesn’t even bother looking her way as he comments on Raibaru, “Raibaru, you’ve always looked like a shorter-haired Osana, but you had a cuter face. Now you look more like her since Osana’s hair is shorter, but your hair still has a more cute, prim-and-proper look to it. If I didn’t know you were a man-throwing machine, I’d say you were cute.”
Osana stands up, clearly irritated at how Enpitsu was commenting on her friend. Raibaru didn’t seem bothered to Osana’s extent and smiled at her. “Don’t worry, Osana. I did ask for his opinion… mostly.”
Sitting back down, Osana glares at Enpitsu as he continues. “Kuu is unique solely in her bright blue hair and red eyes. Her hair is too short to be anything special, but I admit that I don’t think she’d look remotely good with any other hairstyle. Or maybe she just wouldn’t look like Kuu anymore.. Hm…”
Kuu wasn’t here to comment, so Midori did instead. “Totally agree! I think Kuu looks totally cool how she is now!” She says, patting her cheeks as she waited for Enpitsu’s comment on her.
“Green Green, believe it or not, looks incredibly green to me.” Enpitsu says, of course, needing to make fun of Midori’s name in order to continue with his comment. “I don’t know if you all will agree..” He says in faux uncertainty, “But I think green matches her best as a physical explanation, what do you all think?” He asks rhetorically.
Both Beshi and Emile laughed lightly at Enpitsu’s comment, and Midori huffed. “Well, duh! My parents named me Midori because I had the brightest green hair out of everyone!” She claims, “At least since my great-great-great-great grandfather! They named me after him!”
“How flattering.” Enpitsu rolls his eyes, “I, too, would love to be named after a 150 year old man with neon green hair.” He says, and Midori visibly deflates at his comment, glaring at her blank phone screen. “Outside of that, I admit, your bangs don’t look bad.” He says, giving Midori some form of hope. “They’re my second-favorite after… say, blunt bangs. I don’t think anyone else would look remotely flattering with your bangs.” He then looks at her forehead and points a finger. “Your scar, though, I am curious about that. Are you ready to tell us what happened, yet?” He asks.
“Uh, no! It’s only been like, like 11 days! I’m not gonna spill all my lore right now!” Midori insists, crossing her arms stubbornly.
“11 Days since what?” Enpitsu asks. Midori seems excited to answer, but Enpitsu immediately turns his head away and claims, “Never mind, I don’t care.”
As Midori deflates once again in her chair, Enpitsu turns his gaze to Ayano. “I’ve already commented on Ayano once, and she has yet to take my advice.” He says, rolling her eyes. “Ayano, disrespectfully, you are quite possibly the most plain-looking person at this school. The most plain female, anyway.”
Osana scoffs, for some reason, equally offended at Enpitsu’s comment towards Ayano as she was at his comment towards Raibaru. Enpitsu waved his hand at her dismissively and continued. “You would look good with red or silver dye- or maybe the silver would just make you look old… It might contrast nicely against your eyes. Hmm….” He pulls a hand up to his mouth in thought. “Yes, red or pink might suit you. If you wore your hair down, you would look a little less plain. The ponytail makes you look stiff. You could pull back your bangs..? …no, nevermind, you’d just look plain. I’m not sure if your face is pretty enough to…”
Enpitsu squints his eyes and looks over Ayano’s face again. “No, your face is pretty enough… but you’re missing something…” He thinks for a minute, before snapping his fingers. “You know what it is? A personality.”
“I think Ayano has a great personality!” Midori says, standing up from her chair.
“Do tell.” Enpitsu retorts, folding his arms expectedly.
Midori opens her mouth, but closes it again. “Uh, well… she has…. Uh… she’s good at a lot of stuff.”
“Talent is not a personality trait, Midori.” Enpitsu says, before turning back to Ayano and holding his hands up to frame her face as he brought his hands up to her eye. “Ayano, you are… a blank canvas.”
He then interrupts his comment on Ayano to turn his head back and look at Emile. “And Emile is just some guy.” He claims, shrugging. “He does have a nice shade of hair, though.”
“Thanks. My dad said the same thing before he left my mom and me.” Emile says casually, making Enpitsu freeze awkwardly. He waits for a minute before looking back up to Enpitsu with a grin. “Kidding.”
“You are… not funny, Emile.” Enpitsu sighs, turning his attention back to his desk.
Emile sits up straight and looks at the back of Enpitsu’s head. “Now that you’re done assaulting everyone with your words.. I think that your bob cut looks weird.” He claims, leaving that comment in the air.
“Yeah, your bangs don’t really match your hairstyle, Enpitsu.” Beshi adds, touching her own hair. “I think it would look better if you put it in a ponytail.”
Osana, despite being irritated at Enpitsu’s comment, was still somehow too nice to make a comment on his appearance. Kuu, though, who had just returned to class, caught Beshi’s comment and decided to add on. “Maybe your forehead is too big.” She says nonchalantly, sitting down in her seat next to Ayano.
Emile stifles a laugh, covering his mouth with his hand. With an embarrassed groan, Enpitsu flips his hair back. “Oh, what would you all know? You all aren’t artists!” He claims, although the comments clearly got to him judging by his red face.
Unfortunately, the mostly passive-aggressive comments stopped there as Mrs. Fukahori entered the room. “Alright, class..” She looks up from her clipboard and looks over the few members of the classroom. “..hm… I know we’re all devastated after Amai’s passing, but the staff thanks you for coming today despite that. Even with so few of us, I’m sure we can make today productive..”
Mrs. Fukahori looks down to the assignments, up to her students, and then back to the clipboard in her hand. She sighs and places the clipboard down, realizing just how little the students needed to learn at a time like this. “I’m sure you students came because you felt as though you were still in the right state of mind to continue working, and I appreciate that.” She taps her fingers on the podium and leans down on it.
“However, I think that rather than learning the textbook necessities, you would be better off learning something a bit less…” Mrs. Fukahori sighs, frustrated at not being able to think of the right words. “..I feel that it’s wrong to move back to textbook lessons less than a week after a dear peer’s passing. So, we’ll do something just as informative, but… a bit more fun, instead.”
Beshi was the first to speak up, sitting up straight before she did so, so that Mrs. Fukahori had no need to correct her. “What’re we going to do, then?”
Mrs. Fukahori raises a hand to her mouth in thought. “Well…”
__
By no means was the activity Mrs. Fukahori chose a pizza party or swimming in the pool to enhance fitness or something of the sort. Rather, she borrowed Uekiya from her class in order to assist with teaching the class about basic, easy-to-grow foods. According to Mrs. Fukahori was trying to successfully start a garden with her husband and sons in order to decrease the amount of money they spend on necessities.
It was an interesting thought. If worse turned to worse with Taro, Ayano might have to resort to such measures in order to keep away from society as much as possible. No need to buy food if you already grow it at home, right? Now, the gardening club seemed like an even more solid choice. If not for her time at Akademi, then whatever emergency she may come across in the future.
On the current note, though. Since it was now lunch time, Ayano continued with her task of asking a few students about the outfit designs for Kizana’s play. Thankfully, she could kill two birds with one stone, since Kiba and Mai were chatting together for lunch anyway.
“I think it’s a bit too old-fashioned.” Mai says, she and Kiba looking at the paper in her hand.
Kiba tilts her head to the side and adds, “It looks… dull. I get that Kizana doesn’t wanna crowd the set, but the colors just look unflattering.”
“Hm..” Ayano lowered her gaze to the picture. There was no pattern or fancy lace in the drawing. It looked more like the base of a ball gown. Or… something of the sort. “I heard that Tokuko was tasked with designing the outfits this time.”
Kiba nods in understanding. “That explains it. She’s more into modern clothes. That’s another reason why she’ll usually sit back with the simplest dress possible and be the vocals for whatever.”
“Tokuko should really consider the roles of the play. All of the characters can’t have the same outfit. The main character should obviously look one hundred times more noticeable and important than some background character. If they all look the same then no one will care about who the main character is.” Mai explained.
Ayano was sure that she wouldn’t remember all of that word for word, but Tsuruzo would probably get the point. “Right, I understand. I’ll make sure to tell her that.” She bows her head politely. “Thank you for your help.”
“Of course.” Kiba smiled in a happy and relaxed manner, “I look forward to seeing their play next week.”
Ayano begins walking the other way, but then suddenly remembers something. She turns back to Mai, “Mai, I have another question.” She starts, catching the rainbow-eyed girl’s attention. “Efude wanted me to ask if you were open to being her muse for a while.” She says before further explaining, “Maybe dressing up certain ways, cosplaying.. So on and so forth.”
“Ah, Efude is that blue-haired girl from the art club, right? Like, the only one who likes anime and cosplaying.” Mai recalls, smiling fondly at the thought. “Totes! Honestly, if she can come up with some good outfit ideas, I’ll even share them on social media afterwards!”
“Noted.” Ayano nods. She should probably make her way to Efude since she was the next stop. “Thank you. Enjoy your lunch.”
__
“W-Wow, she said yes?!” Efude’s cheeks turn pink the harder she smiles. “Wow! Like- wow, I didn’t think she’d say yes! This is so cool!” She squeals, fanning her face. “You know, th-that actually means that I have two muses this week!”
Ayano decided not to bring up the awaiting beta designs just yet since Efude seemed like she was about to faint at the news that was brought to her. “Oh, gosh… this is so amazing! I-I can’t believe how well my week is going so far!”
Borupen almost seemed appalled by Efude’s happiness, and scowled at her. “If you fall on me, I’m going to pour my food on you.” He says, leaning away from her as she nearly seemed to wobble in lightheadedness.
“Right, totally get it.. Sorry!” Efude blushes in embarrassment, still fanning her face in excitement. “Okay, wow… So much of last week was spent on regretting asking you to ask Mai, you know that, Ayano? I was soooo scared!”
Ayano nods briefly, clearly uninterested, although Efude didn’t particularly seem to mind. Maybe she was just too busy hyperventilating.
Recalling that she had taken up a certain look with Efude, Ayano puts a hand on her hip and smiles at Efude. “I can see that. It’s a good thing Mai’s so open to it, right?” She asks, although she doesn’t allow Efude to answer as she pulls a couple of pages out of her bag. “That reminds me… Tsuruzo wanted me to ask you how these outfits were looking.”
“Phew!” Efude takes a deep breath and exhales, letting her arms fall to her sides. “Right, I remember that. Gosh, I can’t believe Tsuruzo wants my help..” She says, blushing in bashfulness and patting her cheeks.
Before Efude could continue with her fangirling, Ayano quickly showed her the pictures. “Tokuko was tasked with drawing these drafts of the outfits for the play next week.” She explains, handing her several drawings.
Efude pauses at the look of them and clearly struggles to say something. Something nice, at least. “...um.” She clears her throat awkwardly and gently takes the papers. “Well, Tokuko is the singer. I feel like Tsuruzo himself would have been better at designing these.” The bluenette suddenly flinches and corrects herself. “Not that Tokuko is- is bad at all at this, hahaha!! It’s just- um…”
After a minute of fumbling, Efude leads Ayano into the art room and grabs a pencil and a piece of paper. She copies the dress that Tokuko drew, albeit with far neater lines, and then grabs a pink crayon. “Okay, so… think of dress-designing like… a cake! Like a layered cake. So first we’re going to…”
Efude proceeds to draw three horizontal curved lines across the dress-likely to show dimension, and then draws three vertical more curved lines across it. “We want to copy the pattern on each ‘layer’, but we also the bottom- aka the bigger part- to look more detailed than the top! That’s because it’s smaller and has less room for complex designs.”
Drawing a couple of simple flowers and hearts on the top ‘layer’ of the dress gradually gets more fancy and detailed the farther Efude draws down. “I only added these vertical lines in order to keep everything straight- which is especially important for fabric because I don’t think that it can be removed as easily as a messed up icing design. You know?” She raises up the finished drawing, the only similarity between hers and Tokuko’s being that it had a somewhat similar shape. …if you took away all of the ruffles and lace Efude added to the dress. “So? How’s this look?”
Ayano raises a hand to her mouth in thought. Compliments were very much deserved in this situation, but she felt like she had to think about how Efude would take that. Before she could decide, Efude suddenly gasped. “Oh, wait! This is for the Romeo and Juliet play, right?” She asks.
As soon as Ayano gave a slight nod in response, Efude laughed in an embarrassed manner and immediately crumbled up the paper in her hand. “Oh, gosh, that’s embarrassing. The shape made me think of some fantasy princess or something, haha! Sorry about that.”
Ayano watched as Efude tossed it back into the trash can behind her. She wondered why she had thrown something that she seemed to put a lot of effort into in the trash can so quickly. Rather than addressing this, Efude simply smiled. “You should definitely try some roses. But do try that cake method! It’ll probably be best to keep everything neat and realistic for wherever you guys make it.” She said with a brief shrug.
“Right. I understand.” Ayano bows her head respectfully, making Efude blush bashfully. “Thank you for your help.”
“Ha! O-Of course! Thank you for asking, hehe..” Efude bows her head back with a happy smile and trots back out of the room.
Before Ayano leaves she makes sure to pick up the drawing that Efude had finished. Regardless of Efude’s own comment, Ayano was sure that it would come in handy eventually.
__
“Ayano! I’m glad you found me.” Fureddo grins, folding his arms laxly. “Tsuruzo said you might be coming my way, so I waited here.” He said, referring to the room Ayano had found him in, which was the Sewing Room.
“Why here?” Ayano asks, the papers in hand.
Fureddo laxly walks over and takes the paper. “I can discuss designs if you want, but something important they need to keep in mind is fabric.” He says, looking through each picture given to him. “Hm… Who designed these?” He asks, his expression relaxed and the least judgemental out of everyone Ayano has spoken to thus far.
“Tokuko, I believe.” Ayano responds, crossing her arms. She watches as Fureddo placed the designs down and pulled out his phone, he waved his hand to her, beckoning her over to the shelf with the rolls of fabric.
“Thought so.” Fureddo says simply, texting someone before patting one of the rolls of fabric. “So. Let’s think of this Romeo picture here.” He says, nodding to the picture he’d left on top on a nearby table. “When it comes to all clothes- costume or not- comfort is something incredibly important.”
Ayano nods. “Right. This is a play. It wouldn’t be any good if the actors were uncomfortable throughout the whole thing.” She rationalizes, and Fureddo smiles at her.
“Right! So, since these are all we have available, we might have to pick from these. Let’s start with the suit itself first.” The blond says, picking up the picture of the Romeo draft. “If we were thinking of comfort, which one of these do you think would be best suited based on feeling alone?” He asks, patting the rolls of fabric and urging Ayano to do the same.
Ayano feels the first couple, one of them she almost stops on, but realizes that it seems more like the fabric for a blanket or pajamas. She continues, and stops on a fabric that feels smooth. “This feels nice.”
“Mhm..” Fureddo raises a hand to his chin with an expectant smile, looking at the name on the roll. “Yes, it does feel nice. It looks like some sort of faux poplin. Or real poplin. Who knows?” He shrugs, and continues. “The only problem comes in the thickness.” He explains, pulling out a bit of the fabric and urging Ayano to feel it again.
The poplin fabric felt like something someone would use for some form of dress shirt or button-up. But still wear something beneath it due to how thin it was. “..I see. What do you recommend, then?”
“I’m glad you asked!” Fureddo brushes his hand against a couple more rolls. “Fabrics like muslin are too thin and breathable. But fabrics like leather are too tough and don’t quite match a royalty feel, you know?” He pulls out two of the rolls easily, despite how heavy they looked. “I think that wool or linen might work best for this. Wool might be a bit warm, but l think it will work out fine. It’s not like it’ll be hot in the gymnasium when they’re performing, anyway.”
Ayano nods, and hears the door behind her open. She turns and sees Dafuni smiling at her and Fureddo. “You called?” She says, a bright smile on her face as she looks at Fureddo.
As she walks over she winks at Ayano. “Hey, Yan-Chan.” She says, likely one of the others that didn’t know that that nickname was derogatory.
“That’s right. I’m surprised you came so quickly. I just texted you.” Fureddo chuckles, but doesn’t seem to mind. “We need some help with these outfits. Tokuko drew these drafts, so I thought you’d like to help her out.”
Dafuni smiles, looking glad to be called upon by Fureddo. “Of course!” She picks up the drawings and shuffles through them. “Yeah, no, that looks like Tokuko’s art. Do you know why Kizana put her up for this specifically?”
“I assumed that they were rotating, or something.” Ayano responds, shrugging lightly. She obviously had no idea about how the drama club worked, she was just doing Tsuruzo a favor.
Dafuni gives a small dismissive hum in response and grabs a pencil from nearby. “Well, I get that Tokuko doesn’t really know how to design, but I feel like even if Tsuruzo had drawn it, he would have made the same mistake with Romeo.” She commented, sketching extra details on the suit that Tokuko had drawn for Romeo. “Most male designs for, like, anything are very plain compared to female outfits. So…”
She flips her hair over her shoulder and quickly draws what looks to be a cape around the outfit. “A cape! Romeo would look way more flashy if he had a cape during his first appearance.” Dafuni explains, tapping on the picture and showing it to Fureddo and Ayano.
“Sounds good.” Fureddo turns to Ayano, “What sort of fabric do you think would be good for a cape, Ayano?” He asks, nodding to the rolls and nudging the ones that they’d already picked out to show that they were also options.
After looking through her options, Ayano pulls out the velvet fabric roll. Pulling it out herself proved just how heavy it was. She didn’t know if it was heavier than the two that Fureddo had pulled out, but regardless, he seemed to be pretty strong. She looks up to him questioningly, silently asking if this was an alright choice.
“Velvet is a great option!” The blond nods approvingly, placing a hand onto his chin. “It’ll probably be heavy, so it’s good that Romeo isn’t supposed to wear it throughout the whole play.”
Dafuni, who was doodling more ideas for subtly more flashy suits for Romeo, stood up and walked over to Ayano. “I agree! It’s super romantic.” She says, handing Ayano the extra papers. “And don’t ask me how a fabric can be romantic. You’ll understand once the whole outfit comes together.”
Ayano nods, also adding to the side the kinds of fabrics Fureddo recommended. “Mhm… Okay, I’m almost done. Once I am, I'll bring all of this information to Tsuruzo.” She explains, putting all of the papers inside of her bag against and bowing respectfully. “Thank you for your help.”
Fureddo waves his hand dismissively with a big smile. “That’s cute, Ayano, but no need for all the bowing! I consider you a friend, and unless you expect me to bow back, there’s no need to keep doing it.”
Ayano pauses, not understanding why Fureddo seemed so adamant on the ‘friend’ thing. That was internally, at the very least. She did need to keep her ‘willing to socialize’ facade up, after all. Ayano offers a small, nervous smile. “I… understand. Thanks.” She says, almost bowing again before she leaves for her final stop before class.
__
“What, Ayano? Can’t you see that I’m busy here?” Enpitsu huffs, crossing his arms and glaring at Ayano. She notices that Enpitsu’s hair was actually in a ponytail, as his classmates had recommended.
Meka takes this time to exhale and stretch her limbs. She and Enpitsu were in the gymnasium. It’s likely that she was working on whatever was now in the storage room before Enpitsu appeared with his canvas and paint ready.
“Tsuruzo said you were going to help with these outfits.” Ayano said, separating the drawings that she’d gotten from Efude and Dafuni from the ones that Tsuruzo had given her. Before she could properly neaten them up in her hands, Enpitsu snatches them from her.
“Oh, God. I can see why.” Enpitsu scowls at the art, looking offended. “Surely Tsuruzo didn’t draw these. What, was he half-asleep?” He scoffs, but continues before Ayano can reply to him, “Hold on, hold on. What are these hairstyles?”
“Huh?” Ayano peeks over to look at the papers, this time looking at the hairstyles doodled at the side, which she didn’t really bother paying attention to before. “Uh, I think those are just sketches. Tsuruzo wanted you to look at the outf–”
Enpitsu shakes his head, pulling Ayano back to him when she tries to lean away, “No, no, no, no, no, Ayano, look at this.” He shoves the paper into her face and she blinks, not being able to see the pictures too well due to its close proximity.
The hairstyles all looked like something you’d find in a child’s dress-up game or show. It didn’t look realistic, but Ayano was sure that someone would consider it ‘fancy’ or ‘fun-looking’ in some way. “...um.”
“Exactly. Meka, look at this!” Enpitsu says, turning the page to face Meka.
“Mortifying.” Meka comments, although she doesn’t look up from her phone, clearly very uninterested in whatever Enpitsu was wailing about.
“I rest my case.” Enpitsu says, placing the papers back in Ayano’s hand. Despite his comment, he didn’t actually specify what his ‘case’ was.
Ayano looks down at the pictures and internally sighs, already exhausted, and Enpitsu hadn’t even given any reliable feedback yet. “...so, how would you fix these hairstyles?” She asks.
Enpitsu drops her brush as quickly as he picks it up and walks over to Ayano to look at the pictures again. “How would I fix it? It’d burn it! There’s no saving that. You can’t just connect swirls with lines in random directions and expect it to look good!”
Walking behind Ayano, he places his hands on his shoulders to keep her in place and quickly undoes her hair. Ayano paused, wondering if this was somehow too intimate for her liking, but rationalizes that this was just the result of Enpitsu being a drama queen yet again.
“It is way too possible to make a fancy-looking hairstyle without making it look as stupid as it was drawn down there.” Enpitsu insisted, taking hair ties from his own wrist to add to Ayano’s hair.
Ayano didn’t really know what Enpitsu was doing to her hair, but at least he was just using rubber bands and not scissors or a razor. She places her hands over her lap as Enpitsu continues rapidly doing… something with her hair.
“I’m not saying this to insult you- this is just fact- but a simple ponytail is not fancy. In order to make it look fancy, you’d likely have to curl it, or maybe tying the ponytail with other pieces of hair would…” Enpitsu trails off, probably continuing his one-sided conversation in his head as he continues working on Ayano’s hair.
In just a few minutes, Enpitsu seemed to have finished up, and turned Ayano around to look at the style from the front. “Mhm…” He tosses a couple of fringes of hair back and pulls a couple back out, apparently putting together some finishing touches before nodding approvingly. “Yes, that’s it! See, Ayano, it’s so simple to look better if you just put in the effort!”
Enpitsu takes out his phone and shows Ayano her hair in the camera. It did in fact look… fancier. So fancy, in fact, that it almost didn’t match her uniform or whole ‘school girl’ look. She almost looked like a different person entirely. “...that’s… impressive.” Ayano decides on, successfully inflating Enpitsu’s ego.
Ayano’s hair included most of her previous bangs pulled out of her face, and replaced with a few strands that Enpitsu had somehow managed to curl at the ends a bit. Or maybe her hair was naturally like that and she never noticed? Her hair was in a braid with multiple smaller strands tied in loosely to give it a somewhat whimsical look. She really didn’t know how he accomplished such a thing while she was just standing there.
“Yes, I know.” Enpitsu chuckles in hubris, clearly feeling quite accomplished with what he’d done in just a couple of minutes. He clears his throat and continues on the topic at hand. “Anyway. It’s not hard to make a flattering hairstyle. Curling your hair into spirals or drills like Tsuruzo, Kizana and Kokona usually has it can help significantly, but leave it looking sane, good god.” He says, thinking back to the pictures Ayano had shown him.
“Be creative, if you think it looks nice, do more! Specifically, when it comes to ponytails or braids like I did your hair, adding looser pieces available to spiral around the ponytail or braid will add a very lovely effect to the whole style. That is what I expect from a fantasy play.” Enpitsu says, taking a few pictures of his hair, likely to show off later. “I’d say the Drama Club already has that covered, so I’m not sure why you brought me this..” He waves his hand at the pictures, unable to think of an insult to even describe how the pictures looked. “Oh, whatever. Are we done here?”
“Uh, yes. Thank you.” Ayano bows her head briefly and leaves as Enpitsu waves her off.
__
“All of that during the lunch break? I’m impressed, my dear!” Tsuruzo said, walking around Ayano to look at her hair. “And that’s a lovely hairstyle. When did you do that?”
Ayano flicks a piece of hair out of her face, “Uh… Enpitsu pulled it together..” She explained briefly, turning and handing Tsuruzo the images back. “Efude and Dafuni added some pictures for reference.”
Turuzo smiles, looking proud at Ayano’s accomplishment. “You’ve done us a big favor. And all in, what, 30 minutes?” He pats her head. “Good job! I wish there was something I had on me to repay you. But we can work that out later.” He says, taking her hands in his. “I’ll even pull in some of the Drama Club to help think of an appropriate reward. Feel free to ask me for anything until then, okay?”
Ayano nods, taking her hands away and folding them over her lap. “Alright, thank you.” She bows her head briefly.
The bell rings and Tsuruzo gives her a friendly pat on the back before heading to class. Ayano looks down at her phone as she walks back to her own class. She realizes that outside of a ‘good morning’, Info-Chan hadn’t bothered her at all.
Now that Amai was gone, there wasn’t much that Info-Chan needed Ayano to do anymore, right? Ayano frowns in thought. She didn’t really care much if Info-Chan cut ties with her, but she felt like without Info-Chan she would feel… lost for a while. Why was that?

Warning: Mention of death
That day will always remain hazy to me. Being ushered out of class alongside my classmates, seeing the police arrive, loud chatter, and people moving everywhere. Thinking about it gives me a headache.
But what happened?
I didn't know till I got home. I came home late that day since the police ended up questioning every single one of us, but their questions were too vague.
"Did you see any suspicious behavior?"
That was the question I kept being asked.
"No."
And that is what I always answered with.
When I got home and walked into the living room, I saw my parents watching the news, but once they saw me walk in, they switched their attention to me.
I sat down and tried my best to explain to them what happened at school.
Then I heard it.
"Breaking news is just coming in regarding the police activity that was seen early today at Akademi High. The police have stated that a body was found on the campus. The identity of the body is still unknown. Progress is currently still being made, we'll keep all of you at home updated with any new information."
My parents and I were shocked at the sudden news.
A death? Someone died at my school?
Who was it? Was it a student? Hell, maybe even a teacher? The case is still ongoing as well, so I can't let my mind get too carried away, it'll make me more anxious than before.
Then, my worst thoughts became true. It was a student.
He was a first year student, I talked to him a few times, but I didn't know him on a personal level. Yet, his death is hurting me. The thought that a person I saw every day at school and even talked to is now gone makes me shiver.
After the news got released, it didn't take long for Akadimi to close. It was a temporary procedure, so the police had more time to investigate, but this time was also used for any student affected by the death to mourn.
During this time, I decided to text Ayato. He didn't respond right away, and when he did, he didn't even seem fazed by the news.
I've known Ayato since we were young, so this behavior from him didn't surprise me. He has always been this way. I chalked it up to him being very apathetic.
His behavior didn't bother me when I was young, unlike other kids who would bully him for his lack of emotion and interests. I thought he was nice and a great listener, so I chose to stick by his side even if I got odd glances from the other kids.
But as of lately, Ayato has made a new friend. Taro Yamada is the guy's name.
I only talked to Taro a few times, and I wished I could get to know him more, but my duty of being the newspaper club's leader has made me more busy.
I also found out that Taro has an older sister, and her name is Taeko Yamada.
She is one of the more popular students at Akadimi. I suppose this is for her kind nature. I've talked to her a handful of times, but it was never enough to form a friendship with her.
Even though I never knew either of them on a personal level, I started to wish to see them again.
The school was closed for three months, and I practically had all the time in the world to do anything. The only problem was that I had nothing to do.
I wanted to ask Ayato to hang out, but he was never the type to do so.
So I mostly stayed at home and tried my best to entertain myself, or I walked around the town to find anything interesting to do.
One...
Two...
And finally, three months passed.
The school announced we would be going back on the sixteenth of that month.
I knew it was odd to be excited about this, but I was more than ready to go back and see everyone again.
When the day finally came, I woke up early and did my usual routine. I woke up extra early today since the club is going to have a morning meeting.
This is due to me and the other club members having to discuss what we would publish in the newspaper. Should we talk about the death and any new information that comes from it? Or should we not talk about the death at all and instead go for a happier approach?
Either way, we had to come to a conclusion, so when I made it to the school, I rushed to the club room. I saw a few members seated while others weren't there yet.
We waited, and the remaining members came, we then started our discussion.
School hasn't even started yet, but it was already hectic. I hoped that the rest of the day wouldn't be draining.

Although it is the second-smallest state of Austria, Vorarlberg has a high density of stellar architecture that, among others, harks back to postwar pioneers like Willi F. Ramersdorfer (1922-2010) and German Meusburger whose collaboration established in 1951 bore a great number of interesting buildings. Ramersdorfer, a young architect who had studied under Sep Ruf at Akademie für Bildende Künste Nürnberg, thanks to Meusburger’s well-established networks from a young age was involved in a large number of commissions ranging from industrial to school and apartment buildings as well as churches. An early focus of the office also lay on the development of SOS children’s villages in Austria but also Africa and Asia. After the death of German Meusburger in 1973 Ramersdorfer continued the office as sole owner focusing on hotels, single-family houses and commercial buildings.
Patricia Ramersdorfer, the architect’s daughter who to this day continues the Ramersdorfer family business, in 2018 co-edited the first comprehensive publication on her father, published by Park Books, a lavishly illustrated and insightful book that effectively showcases the undeniable qualities of Willi Ramersdorfer’s architecture. In the first part of the book several authors elucidate the architect’s career path as well as the different focal points of his work. As regards his hotels carried out from the 1970s onwards Bernhard Tschofen doesn’t withhold a certain criticism in relation to the wooden exuberance of the buildings but also emphasizes the qualities hidden behind the rustic first impression.
The volume’s second part then contains a selection of twelve buildings, profusely illustrated with photos and plans, as well as a complete work catalogue. Together with the preposed personal introduction by Patricia Ramersdorfer the two aforementioned sections provide a highly readable, in-depth overview of the work of key protagonist of modern architecture in Vorarlberg. Warmly recommended!

Ryoba Aishi Headcanons!! (Not Yandere Au)
She has the big sister personality.
And she is a really good sister to her little sister.
Quite responsible.
She is tall for the average girl in school.
Straight ally.
Friendly with everyone, but has trouble forming deep bonds.
A good listener and adviser.
One of the smartest students in Akademi.
Good at just about everything, therefore quite eclectic about clubs and her participation in them.
Her behavior is seen as suspicious by the journalist (besides the clear fact that the Aishi family name is quite dirty) because her natural way is too perfect and charming to be true, especially when Ryoba decides to help and do chores for her classmates and the school like throwing the trash in the incerator, cleaning the floor and returning lost objects. Being friendly with Sumire days before her death, and then being seen by Ui with a knife was enough for Ryoba to get in the Journalist's sights.
Holy-faced, but extremely provocative and sarcastic (especially with Togo).
Physically strong. Sometimes just likes to pretend she is not to see Togo protect her.
Extremely protective of her loved ones.
Uses her charm to get the things she wants.
Loves flowers, especially lilies.
Very jealous, but knows how to hide it well.
The Yakuza approves of their relationship because he thinks it is a good way to keep his brother out of the life of crime.
Tries her best to convince Togo not to follow the same path as his brother and is always stressing his individual qualities—because she knows that Togo has self-esteem problems.
She knows everyone she relates to like the back of her hand.
She married Togo and had two children (202X).
Ryoba is neutral about her mother, as she was never present in any way. Always busy with Ryoba's father, her mother was so devoted and passionately obsessed with him that even though she played her role as a traditional mother, it seemed artificial. Without the company of her father due to his mental condition, and without the company of her mother who only did the basics as a mother and was totally addicted to teaching her daughters about love, Ryoba had to mature early and take care of her sister and herself. Ryoba doesn't know exactly about her mother's past, but she knows that it is always bringing her trouble, since there are still people chasing the Aishi family (like the journalist).
Chaotic good energy.
Of all the rivals, Kaguya is the closest to being her friend.

6. Halcyon
I need to figure out character dynamics, so here we are. Twists of fate sure do lead to odd places and all that jazz.
(964 words)
--
Birdsong flittered down from the canopy of trees that shaded the Akademy’s courtyard. Only a few of the tables were occupied, as most classes were in session at the time, and one near the far edge under cherry blossoms held two occupants.
“Really, I think there’s more we can do,” the woman said, her hands tapping on the table excitedly. “Creation magics don’t go far enough, I think, there has to be more we can do.”
“Athena, that’s how you have your creations end up in Pandaemonium,” her companion said dryly, but his smile was a small, private thing that could not fully hide from her gaze.
“Well, then, you’ll just have to claim Lahabrea’s seat, won’t you?” Athena said cheerily, and her bright blue eyes sparkled beneath the featureless mask.
“It’s only a rumor,” Daedalus sniffed, but the curve of his lip betrayed his excitement. “Besides, even if I do get chosen for Lahabrea’s seat, that doesn’t mean I can simply drop everything to attend to your fascinating whims.”
Athena’s laugh was light and tinkling, and not for the first time did he admire the shape of her lip, the way her mask lay utterly devoid of decoration to draw attention to the mesmerizing shade of blue that was her eyes, as if the expanse of the sky was stuffed into them.
“Then I shall simply have to become a researcher at your side so we can collaborate, isn’t that right?” She chuckled, and leaned forward conspiratorially. “Just between you and me, I did hear that the other person being considered was Hephaistos… So take that as you will.”
“Where did you even hear such a thing?” Daedalus asked, and leaned forward to match her low tone. “And Hephaistos…? He’s a good scientist, but I fear he doesn’t have the strength of will to be Lahabrea and keep various creations under lock and key.”
“Mm, he might surprise you,” Athena said with a little wink, and her foot slid forward to rest her calf against Daedalus’ own. “He’s very … driven. It’s fascinating to watch. You know he checked out the concept for Phoinix…?”
Daedalus groaned quietly. “Oh, not this again. Every scholar under the sun has attempted to perfect it, he won’t get any closer.”
“Don’t be so quick to judge,” Athena chastised him with a little tap of her foot against his calf.
“Athena, my dear, have you met me?” Daedalus asked, a fond little chuckle rolling off his lips.
“I have, and unfortunately I rather like you,” she grinned, and took one of his hands in her own, her long fingers tracing over the leather of his fingerless gloves and over the slight callouses where the gloves did not reach.
“Athena…” He said, something caught between them, fluttering like a bird’s wing against bars of a cage.
She leaned forward,
“Daedalus!” A cheery voice called across the courtyard. Daedalus leaned back and turned to see Hythlodaeus and Hades at the edge, approaching them both.
“There you are, did you forget that we were to meet in the library?” Hades said, his waspish tone floating over them both.
“I-- We weren’t due to meet until after noon, were we not?” Daedalus said.
Hythlodaeus’ chuckle was light, a soft fufufu that made Daedalus’ cheeks warm. “Have you not kept track of the time? It’s well past that now! Were you having secret meetings without us?”
Daedalus blanched and took his hand back from Athena’s, her fingers lingering on his skin for one too-long second, and did not notice how Hades’ lips pursed at the casual touch. Athena did, however, and her grin turned just a tad sharper.
“My apologies, I completely lost track of time,” Daedalus said as he checked his chronometer. “Perhaps we could continue this another time, Athena?”
Her smile was brilliant as she put her chin in her hands, her eyes only for Daedalus. “I’d like that. Sorry for keeping you from your friends, we’ll have to find a timeslot in your busy schedule.”
“But of course, I’ll send you a message to let you know when I’m free,” Daedalus said with a soft smile, and pulled his legs back from hers so he could stand up.
Hades’ scowl turned fiercer, but he said nothing as Daedalus gathered his things and turned to join his friends. Hythlodaeus’ smile was positively devilish as he waited until they were out of earshot, and whispered conspiratorially, “She was rather interested in you, wasn’t she?”
“I don’t know what you mean,” Daedalus sniffed as he brought his tomes to his chest. “We were merely discussing some theory.”
“Oh, and how she held onto your hand, that was important~?” Hythlodaeus giggled, and bumped his shoulder with Daedalus’ despite their difference in height.
Daedalus scowled, and the expression was only matched by Hades.
“I don’t like her,” Hades said, with a backwards glance at the woman. She was still at the table, and had conjured butterflies with a wave of her hand to flit around her head.
“Why’s that?” Hythlodaeus asked brightly.
“She -- her -- she’s manipulative and speaks in riddles,” Hades started, only to be laughed at by Hythlodaeus.
“Hades, are you mad at her feminine wiles? Is that what’s going on here?” Hythlodaeus teased mercilessly. “Oh, you are so jealous and you don’t even realize it!”
“Jeal--What, why would I be jealous!” Hades snipped back.
The sound of their bickering floated over Daedalus’ head, and for once he was grateful of his short stature. They rounded the corner, and he cast one last glance back at Athena. She met his gaze, even at this distance, and gave one last flirtatious little wave with her fingers, even as the butterflies swarmed round her head.
Daedalus’ cheeks warmed, and he risked a small wave in return.

Hi :3 I have an angst requesttt, yknow that outsiders quote "Dallys tougher then I am,Why can I take it when Dally can’t? And then I knew. Johnny was the only thing Dally loved. And now Johnny was gone." That with Aoi x Dead reader? Like it's Being from another student council members pov but it's like how heartbroken Dally was for Johnny , Aoi is for Reader dead :3
I'm so sweet!!>< /j have a good dayyy
hi!! I don't really know that quote but I'm open to new things! :D I'll probably post this after my final exams as I'm too stressed to write rn; (sorry in advance for the long wait ;-:)
(WARNINGS: mention of violence and death)
---–—
(this is gonna be from Kuroko Kamenaga's POV)
——––-
--–———
In the bustling corridors of the Akademi, the student council vice president, Kuruko, patrolled around, her eyes scanning the horizon of teenage angst and school spirit posters. She had seen it all before, the mundane dramas and fleeting romances that colored the lives of her peers. But there was one event that remained a stark monochrome amidst the pastel shades of high school: the grief of Aoi, her council mate.
This wasn't the first time Aoi had lost her temper, her normally nonchalant and tough face contorting into a mask of rage. It had been a week since the last incident, and Kuruko had hoped that the storm had passed. But as the bell for lunch rang, she heard the distant echo of a confrontation, a crescendo of accusations and shouts that sent a shiver down her spine. She recognized Aoi's voice, the one that usually whispered words of sassing and durability, now raised in a feral snarl.
"That's enough, Aoi," Kuruko said, her voice a calm oasis in the desert of chaos. She could feel the tension coiled in Aoi's muscles, the anger thrumming like a heartbeat just beneath her skin. "We need to talk."
With a sigh that seemed to deflate her, Aoi allowed herself to be led away from the scene, her steps dragging as they entered the sanctum of the student council room. The heavy door swung shut behind them, muffling the outside world. The room was a bastion of order, a stark contrast to the tumult outside. The scent of old books and the faint hint of the cleaning solution used to maintain the gleaming surfaces greeted them, a comforting reminder of their roles as guardians of the school's peace.
Kuruko guided Aoi to a chair, her hand a soft but insistent pressure on her shoulder. The latter slumped down, her gaze drifting to the floor, a picture of defeat. The room was filled with the heavy silence that often follows a storm. It was a silence that Kuruko knew all too well, the kind that echoed with the aftermath of grief and pain. She took a seat opposite Aoi, leaning forward, her elbows resting on the cool, wooden desk that separated them.
"Look, Aoi," Kuruko began, her voice measured and steady. "I know it's hard, but you can't keep letting this... this grief consume you. It's been a week since she passed away. It's time you started letting go." Aoi's eyes snapped up, a glimmer of defiance in their depths, but Kuruko didn't flinch. "I'm not saying forget her," she clarified, her tone soothing. "But you can't let your emotions interfere with your responsibilities here."
Aoi's jaw clenched, the muscles in her neck tightening. "How can you possibly understand?" she spat, her voice a mix of anger and sorrow. "You didn't even know her."
Kuruko took a deep breath, her eyes never leaving Aoi's. "I understand loss," she said softly. "And I understand that you're hurting. But we have a job to do. We can't let personal issues affect our duties."
Aoi's eyes narrowed, the fire of anger flickering back to life. "My personal issues are none of your business," she snapped, pushing herself to her feet. The chair scraped against the floor, the sound echoing in the stillness of the room.
Kuruko watched her go, her heart heavy with concern. Aoi had always been a closed book, but she knew that the grief she harbored was more profound than she let on. The lover, a young woman, had been in a terrible accident, her body marred by burns that told a story of unimaginable pain. The sight of Aoi's distress was like a strong storm, and she wished she could offer more than just empty words of comfort.
Just as the silence grew oppressive, the student council laptop beeped to life, interrupting the tension. The screen flickered, and Megami's face appeared, framed by the sleek black border. Her expression was stern, the epitome of authority that made her the ideal student council president.
"Kuruko, what's the situation?" Megami's voice was as sharp as a tack, cutting through the thick air.
Kuruko glanced at the screen, steeling herself before she spoke. "Aoi had another outburst, Megami. It's the third one this week."
Megami's eyes narrowed, the concern etched on her features. "What happened this time?"
Kuruko recounted the incident, her voice clipped and efficient, detailing the altercation in the hallway and Aoi's subsequent retreat. "It's like she's looking for a fight," she murmured, her gaze trailing to the window where the sun cast a warm glow, a stark contrast to the chilly atmosphere in the room. "I just- don't understand. Aoi is tougher than I am. Why can I take it when Aoi can't?"
Megami's gaze softened, the harsh lines of her face smoothing out. "Grief isn't a competition, Kuruko," she said gently. "Everyone deals with it differently. Maybe Aoi's toughness is just a facade, a way to keep everyone at bay-"
"And then I knew. Y/N was the only thing Aoi loved. And now, Y/N is gone.."

Hello and welcome to Day 7 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"
Sorry for posting this a bit late today, I was busy, and the idea was a bit complicated to put in words. (Don't you love when your brain gives you only vivid images but abandons you when you need to describe them? Yeah, me too)
The fic idea I wanna explore today is actually a collab fanfic between me and my friend @yokomisaki.
This is a Canon Divergence AU for Naruto that both of us came up with around *checks notes* July 13th, 2023. It actually started with me saying that "Shiranui Genma is definitely a motherhen to anybody that he deems in need of motherhening" and that evolved into "Shiranui Genma would make a great Jounin Sensei" before it settled into "Make Shiranui Genma a Jonin Sensei and then throw Naruto at him cause god, does the kid need someone like him in his life".
I came up with a title for this fic, and we already started writing it. I have done a small part of the prologue so far, but we have chapters planned out (just not written out yet).
Title of the fic:
"The late dog always barks at the closed door"
(Yes, it is a jab at Kakashi's habit of being late. Is it mean of me to do this? Yes. Do I care? Not really. I feel he needs a bit of a reality check for that; like, you can be late for your own personal meetings but NOT FOR A FREAKING OFFICIAL MEETING)
Synopsis/Description:
Shiranui Genma is many things, but he is not a teacher. At least not until the Hokage decides that, in the wake of one Jounin Sensei's death, he is to take a team of 3 freshly graduated children under his wing. The good news is that he is not obligated to pass them. The bad news is that he actually likes the brats - despite the fact that he knows only headaches will follow him now.
In the one year he had the brats for a lot changed, including what one of his students wanted to do with her life as a shinobi. Now, Genma is required to get a new Gennin to make up for the student (and she is still his student dammit; no official paper will ever change that) that decided to pursue the career of "not-battle active medic-nin".
When it was time for him to choose, he recognized a certain hyperactive blonde as part of the rooster he could choose from - which is weird since Hatake seems to want him. So then why was not the kid already spoken for?
After some consideration, Genma came up with his answer.
"Hokage-sama, I want to take Uzumaki Naruto as the new member for Team 3."
Some details:
I know Team 3 is supposed to be Might Guy, Neji Hyuuga, Tenten, and Rock Lee; however, I have always believed them to be team 9, so it is really hard for me to correct that belief. Thus, just for the sake of my brain, Genma's team is Team 3, while Guy's team is team 9.
This fic will have (so far) 4 OCs: Kawamura Chizuru (Part of Team 3 - retires from active duty but is still considered part of the team by Genma); Nomura Akira (Part of Team 3); Higashi Kyoka (Part of Team 3); Sakaki Ichirou (the boy that takes Naruto's place in team 7)
Yes, at Naruto's graduation team, because he also got to graduate, there was one person that would have to be put in another team as the numbers wouldn't add up (think instead of 21 kids aka 7 teams of 3, there are 22 kids that graduated)
We have most of the plot for the OG series already thought out; the Shippuden part is more complicated (because of what we do with the pervious part)
Naruto is getting the darn support system that he is in need of in this AU
And I am not overlooking Sasuke either. Without Naruto around to push him, Sasuke will realize that he is pretty much isolated (thank you Konoha Elders and Teacher from the Akademy (Not Iruka), you did a fantastic job *note the sarcasm*). Cause really, the main reason why it didn't look like Sasuke was isolated by others (and instead it showed he chose isolation) is because Naruto is like 10 people in one presence-wise. And because I am taking Naruto away from the picture, I raise you this idea: Get Raidou (or any competent adult) to interact with Sasuke. Sasuke needs more competent adults in his life at this point
Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - is getting character development. Even just some characters that appear for a few times. And I am dragging Kakashi from his brooding corner, kicking and screaming if I have to. (And yes, that includes villains, too. *looks at my brain planned storyline* And summons get the same treatment as well)
Another thing: Political Sub-plot. Ya think that with all the importance they put on, not only rank but missions that get you in different countries, this show would have more political talk; but no. So we are bringing Naruto into politics. Inter-village Politics, to be precise. Naruto, prepare your Talk no Jutsu.
Also, Fuuinjutsu Made-Up Theory Stuff. Just because I can and I will (I am in charge of Fuuinjitsu stuff). Genma is making Naruto learn them from scratch.
We are addressing the fact that the Shinobi Academy of Konoha was turned into a "civilian playground" because of the Konoha Elders. (It's way worse than you can think if Genma makes Naruto re-learn stuff from zero) - there is no way any fight will have some bullshit pop-quiz about History or Chakra Theory. How in the world are those kids alive?
We also have Orochimaru Plot™️. A whole ton of it too.
We also get into the "Preparation to Take a Life on the Battlefield" thing. Because people there seem to not do it anymore. Like, get the kids to kill animals in the wild after catching them. Is it hard? Yes. But THEY NEED THE DAMN EXPERIENCE SO THEY DON'T FREEZE UP AS BADLY IN COMBAT.
Get Naruto into the Tactical Thinking. Not because he is Shikamaru Level at it; but because he is good at surprising the enemy. So Naruto's shenanigans + some tactician lessons = Perfect Combo for Ambush.
Naruto and Kurama interact earlier. And, while it won't be that much better than the beginning of their friendship in the anime, we are getting the friendship a lot faster this time.
Finally, Team 3, being trained by Genma, starts to pick up having Senbons on them. It's like their "mark" as Genma's kids. (Genma is so proud)
This is all I have currently (mostly because it's late at night here, and I am losing my thought process). I will also post what I have written from the Prologue after this is posted, so look forward to that.
So, what do you think? Good? Bad?
I will see you guys later. Take care and have a great day/night!

Ramza's Bunch, as of the middle of Chapter 1:
Unit 01: Ramza Beoulve, himself (Age 16): Kinda gormless but revolutionized the curly forelock industry—Nero Scaeva owes so much to this kid. Apparently gets a dump truck ass in the next chapter:
(Note Bene: The part of Ramza Beoulve will be played by 2B from NieR Automata, or possibly Zenos Galvus walking around on his knees ala Tim Conway as "Dorf"...)
Unit 02: Carmine Félix (Age 19): A hire from the Gariland Adventurer's Guild. He came all the way from the port city of Warjilis for reasons he tries very hard to keep to himself, but so far Ramza has at least sussed out that he ran away from home as to avoid inheriting ownership of the family's lucrative lingerie business:
"Aye, I guess when you get down to brass tacks, I'm just not that into ladies' underwear..." (or so Ramza overheard once)
Despite a general distaste for war he seems to have some experience as a field medic, or more specifically a field veterinarian ("Human, chocobo, what's the difference save a few dozen feathers?"). After hours he plays the accordion well and often, to everyone's dismay.
Unit 03: Alainne Félix (Age 21): First cousin of the previous and hired at the same time. A Dorter native, Ramza and Delita met her at the Guild while seeking an escort to Eagrose. Taking pity on the youngsters, she agreed to the job and even discounted her usual hiring fee. Considering she brought her cousin along for no additional charge, this turned out to be a real bargain (at least until he started playing the accordion).
Unlike Carmine, she has the heart of a warrior and the brawn to match. She'll gladly throw hands (or feet) any time, any place; it is said she came to Gariland looking for a challenge after defeating all of Dorter's best barroom brawlers.
Unit 04: Sir Reginald de Vroome (Age: 38): Came into Ramza's employ while the group passed through Dorter Trade City on their way back to Eagrose. Apparently an acquaintance of Alainne's, who, in her words, "owes [her] one". The archetypal down-on-his-luck mercenary who would not be out of place tilting at windmills in a forlorn wheat field somewhere near Fovoham—his place of origin.
During the Fifty Years War, he (self-reportedly) served as a Lancer in the king's royal guard in Lesalia—frankly his lurid tales are a bit difficult to parse through the fog of crapulence that constantly engulfs him.
Unit 07: Ophellia Stamp (Age 16): A classmate of Ramza's from the Gariland Military Akademy. The eldest daughter of a local aristocrat, she proved more hesitant to leave Ramza's side than his other classmates. However, her reluctance did not arise from fear so much as it arose from her hobby of collecting "trinkets of affection" from "handsome and well-to-do fellas" like Delita and Ramza and maybe Ramza's brother Zalbaag (she was not impressed with Dycedarg): Commoners need not apply!
To everyone's disbelief she is currently "working on" getting "something good" out of Argath, who seems to be buying her little Doxy Act hook, line, and sinker (oh for heaven's sake!).
SPECIAL GUESTS:
Unit 25: Delita Heiral (Age 16): Lowborn son of a farming family and Ramza's BFF 5evr! Indeed, nothing in the world could possibly separate these two and end their wonderful friendship!
Unit 26: Argath Thadalfus (Age 16): (prolonged groan)
#ff tactics#i'd like to make some more 'legit' profiles like in the brave story#complete with portraits!#i dunno it's all pretty self-indulgent don't mind me

Another science club AU cuz why not lol
Roommates!ScienceClub AU
The five are attending a university (not Akademi) to continue their studies while also working in their fields.
They all live in a house with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge kitchen, and a big living room. It is close to their school campus, which is a good thing. It also does have a huge laboratory underground.
They all pay rent. They divide the rent and bring the money together once they all have it.
They have robots that clean their house instead of themselves. They're busy with their jobs and homework from their university.
Yaku is the peacemaker in the house. The one to stop fights when they start between the others.
Yaku is the cook, lol. He makes the food for all of them to eat. He even goes grocery shopping by himself or brings one of the members with him. (Mostly Meka, or Horo, or both.)
The five have days where they hang out together at home or out in the streets. It's a day of relaxation.
Whenever they go out, they go to the bar to enjoy themselves. The one who ends up drunk is Horo. The one who is most sober is probably Kaga. He knows the damage alcohol can make in someone's body, so he wouldn't want to drink. Oh, and Yaku, too.
Whenever Yaku does cook food ( breakfast, lunch, and dinner), each of the members eats differently. For example:
Yaku eats it normally like any other person but never eats junk food unless there's nothing else to eat and the only option.
Meka only eats foods that come from animes, or foods are sponsored by animes (This is canon, I believe). She enjoys the food (unless she has a project due then, she'll eat it quick)
Homu eats it quickly. She doesn't care. She wants food that can eat quickly so she can move on with her day. (I imagine her shoving the food in her mouth, but like neatly )
Horo enjoys his time with food. (Unless there's a project due) but overall, he does enjoy the food Yaku makes.
Kaga doesn't really eat much because of his eating disorder (Headcanon). They all know that Kaga has an eating disorder, and his interest in eating is non-existent. Yaku makes small portions of foods for Kaga to eat, knowing that he'll most likely going to leave it on the table. Either that, or Yaku makes a smoothie for Kaga to drink that has enough protein and nutrients for him. Whenever Yaku makes him food, Kaga stares at it as if it was poisoned or with irritation since he doesn't feel like eating it.
Whenever one of them gets sick, the other four take care of the sick one. (And Kaga mostly tries to make a cure and test it, but they always stop him).
Yaku and Horo share a lot of gay moments with each other. Yaku always flirts with Horo for fun even though Horo smacks him in response. However, when Horo is drunk, it's a different response. 👀 ( I might do a one short on this)
Their love lives are uh, there lol. Yaku has a lot of crushes but never enters a relationship, Horo has a lot of admirers, Meka has a few boys who have crushes on her, and Homu is not interested in romance at the moment. Kaga is too eccentric for anyone to handle him unless they are willing to take the challenge. (He doesn't know Megami or met her before until later in the year)
Yaku always wears his visor. No matter where he is. He wears them unless he's sleeping or showering. He doesn't have good eyesight and doesn't express emotions very well, so he has his visor to help him with that. The four always get weirded seeing Yaku without his visor.
Homu was able to build the robot that is the replica of her twin, but she has her in her room.
Meka has a few posters in her room of her favorite mega animes, while Yaku has a few posters and figurines of the animes he's interested in. They talk a lot about anime.
Kaga is the most positive person in the team. When he's down or negative in any way, the four know something is wrong.
Considering that they are roommates, they are already used to each other. They like a small family. They have each other's backs. If one of them gets hurt by another person, they will give the cold shoulder or try to hurt them in return. (Not physically. They can't fight). However, they will use a robot to do it.
Each of them dresses up differently, and they know what clothes belong to who. It's easy for them.
Each year on the day Homu's sister died, the five go to her grave and decorate it. It's a way to make Homu spend time with her sister and the gang and make her feel better. :3
They all come together and study even if they have different interests. It's a way to spend time together.
Whenever they wake up, Kaga is the one with the most energy. No one really knows where he gets all of his energy from for the day and when he's fatigued too.
There are times when Kaga collapsed because he didn't eat enough food, or sleep for a period of time, or even both. He was taken to the hospital multiple times to get checked. Horo is the one to carry him to the hospital.
In the laboratory, they all share it, but they have their own section to focus on their interest.
