I released version 0.8.0 of The Idle Class today! I haven't talked about it a whole lot on here, so if you're not familiar, it's a free browser-based idle game I put out years ago, well before The Salt Keep.
It's all about clicking buttons, earning achievements, and experiencing the grotesque horrors of capitalism. It's the kind of game you can play aggressively or check in on now and then, and it'll last you months if you want it to.
This update has:
55 new Upgrades
105 new Achievements
A new Business Goals feature, which lets you set an earnings goal for your next business (plus some optional caveats), and offers a significant bonus to your Next Bankruptcy Multiplier if you meet it, or a small penalty if you don't.
A new Business Cartels feature, which allows you to unlock an overall earnings bonus derived from the total listed at the Small Gray Games Patreon. It's positively communal!
A new Bankruptcy Obstacles feature, which allows you to choose from various Obstacles to burden you in your next business in exchange for a bonus to your Training Seminars. This one has the potential to balloon into all kinds of side features.
This update has been a long time coming. I'll be back to some other narrative projects now, which I can hopefully announce before too long. I'll probably post here a lot more once I do.

“Making people feel helpless, powerless, and hopeless is part of the propaganda. […] I think we all need to become seriously mutinous.”
——-
That candle is burning at both ends and down the middle, too.
It cannot all be laid at the door of resource-plundering or strategic thinking. Eventually it develops a momentum and a logic of its own.
As the storm builds, the ethno-nationalists are out harnessing the wind, giving each other courage. […] While it is easy to take lofty moral positions, in truth, there is nothing simple about this problem. Because it is not a problem. It is a symptom of a great churning and a deep malaise. The assertion of ethnicity, race, caste, nationalism, sub-nationalism, patriarchy, and all kinds of identity, by exploiters as well as the exploited, has a lot – but of course not everything – to do with laying collective claim to resources (water, land, jobs, money) that are fast disappearing. […]
If we go down this warren and choose to stay there, if we allow our imaginations to be trapped within this matrix, and come to believe there is no other way of seeing things, if we lose sight of the sky and the bigger picture, then we are bound to find ourselves in conflicts that spiral and spread and multiply and could very easily turn apocalyptic. […]
Empire is not just an idea. It is a kind of momentum. An impetus to dominate that contains within its circuitry the inevitability of overreach and self-destruction.
——-
In the spirit of the globalization of fascism, U.S. alt-right organizations are good friends of Hindu nationalists. Look to India, if you want to understand the world in microcosm. […]
It is interesting that countries that call themselves democracies – India, Israel, and the United States – are busy running military occupations. Kashmir is one of the deadliest and densest military occupations in the world. India transformed from colony to imperial power virtually overnight. There has not been a day since the British left India in August 1947 that the Indian army and paramilitary have not been deployed within the country’s borders against its “own people”: Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Kashmir, Jammu, Hyderabad, Goa, Punjab, Bengal, and now Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand. […]
As hatred is dripped into peoples’ souls, every day, with sickened hearts we wake up to Muslim-lynching videos put up on YouT*be by gloating vigilantes, news of Dalits being publicly flogged, of women and infants being raped, of thousands marching in support of people who have been arrested for rape, of those convicted for mass murder in the Gujarat pogrom being let out of jail while human rights defenders and thousands of indigenous people are in jail on charges of sedition, of children’s history textbooks being written by complete fools, of glaciers melting and of water tables plummeting […].
But it is all OK, because we are buying more weapons from Europe and the United States than almost anyone else. So, India, which has the largest population of malnutritioned children in the world, where hundreds of thousands of debt-ridden farmers and farm laborers have committed suicide […], is still being celebrated as one of the fastest growing economies in the world. […]
Corporations are hosting happiness fairs and dissent seminars and sponsoring literature festivals in which free speech is stoutly defended by great writers. Dissent Is the Cool (and Corporate) New Way To Be.
What can we do about that?
When you think about the grandeur of the civil rights movement in the United States, the anti–Vietnam War protests, it makes you wonder whether real protest is even possible any more.
It is. It surely is.
I was in Gothenburg, Sweden, recently, when the largest Nazi march since World War II took place. The Nazis were outnumbered by anti-Nazi demonstrators, including the ferocious Ant*fa, by more than ten to one. In Kashmir, unarmed villagers face down army bullets. In Bastar, in Central India, the armed struggle by the poorest people in the world has stopped some of the richest corporations in their tracks.
It is important to salute people’s victories, even if they don’t always get reported on TV. At least the ones we know about.
Making people feel helpless, powerless, and hopeless is part of the propaganda.
But what is going on in the world right now is coming from every direction and has already gone too far. It has to stop. But how? I don’t have any cure-all advice, really. I think we all need to become seriously mutinous.
——-
Arundhati Roy, interviewed by Avni Sejpal. “How to Think About Empire.” Boston Review. 3 January 2019. Reposted from the indomitable @fatehbaz. Bolding is my own.
My entire twitter feed is people in Rafah saying they’re terrified, saying their good byes, and asking us to remember them in our prayers. Rafah is facing a massacre. It’s a genocide. We will not know the number of deaths until the morning.
#taps sign taps mic. truly what else is constructive to say besides we need to become seriously mutinous like roy said in 2019?#what else is constructive to say besides we all need to become seriously mutinous?#what else is there constructive to say?#we can grow the spines we need to stand up for our lives.

Women Empowering Women
In today’s fast-paced business world, networking isn’t just a tool it’s a necessity. While this holds for everyone, women often encounter unique challenges navigating predominantly male-dominated spaces. But here’s the silver lining: women find strength in numbers, building communities that uplift and empower each other.
As the saying goes, “Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back.”
This spirit of solidarity and support is at the heart of women-centric networks, transforming professional landscapes by shifting the focus from competition to collaboration. Together, women are rewriting the rules of success, fostering growth, and celebrating shared achievements.
Tackling Common Hurdles: The Power of Women-Centric Networks
Women in business face unique challenges unconscious biases, persistent wage gaps, and navigating the delicate balance of work and family. These hurdles can often feel isolating. That’s where women-centric networks come in.
These communities provide a safe space to share experiences, exchange advice, and find solidarity. They’re more than just a support system; they’re a launchpad for collaboration and innovation, empowering women to overcome obstacles and achieve greater heights. Together, they create an environment where women feel seen, heard, and valued.
Togetherness Over Individualism
In traditionally male-dominated industries, women may instinctively focus on individualism, competing for limited opportunities. But a new mindset is emerging: togetherness. By joining forces and sharing resources, women are realizing their collective power. When women unite, the results are extraordinary: innovation flourishes, opportunities multiply, and barriers crumble.
The Benefits of Women-Centric Networks
One of the most powerful aspects of these networks is the sharing of collective resources and opportunities. Whether it’s funding for women-led startups or introductions to key contacts, these networks ensure that success isn’t limited to a select few. Instead, they open doors for all, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and growth.
Steps to Build Strong Women-Centric Networks
Here are some practical ways to build and strengthen women-centric networks:
Attend and Host Women-Focused Events
Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences tailored for women in business.
Consider hosting your events to create connections and foster lasting relationships.
Leverage Technology
Engage with online communities and social media platforms to connect with women in your industry.
Join relevant groups, contribute to discussions, and share your expertise.
Embrace Mentorship
Take on the dual roles of mentor and mentee. Share your knowledge while seeking guidance from others.
Collaborate on Projects
Work with other women on shared initiatives, such as joint ventures, outreach programs, or campaigns. Collaboration builds strong bonds and creates new opportunities.
Celebrate Successes
Recognize and amplify the achievements of women in your network. Celebrating milestones fosters a culture of mutual support and encouragement.
Navigating Networking Challenges
Building a women-centric network isn’t without its hurdles. Here’s how to tackle some common challenges:
1. Balancing Work and Family
Set clear boundaries and communicate them effectively.
Build a supportive network that respects your commitments.
Don’t hesitate to seek help or delegate tasks.
2.Cultivating Collaboration Over Competition
Celebrate each other’s successes.
Share knowledge, resources, and opportunities to uplift the entire community.
The Future of Women’s Business Networks
As women continue to make strides in the business world, their networks are evolving to become more diverse and inclusive. These communities bring together individuals from various professions, backgrounds, and aspirations, creating a rich tapestry of perspectives and skills. This diversity strengthens the networks, making them more dynamic and impactful.
The digital age further amplifies these efforts. Virtual events and online platforms are eliminating geographic barriers, and connecting women across the globe. Emerging apps designed specifically for women in business are fostering collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth.
A Commitment to Inclusivity and Innovation
The strength of women’s networks lies in their commitment to inclusivity. By welcoming women from all walks of life, industries, and experiences, these communities are paving the way for shared success. They’re transforming challenges into opportunities, proving that together, women can achieve extraordinary results.
The Bottom Line
Women-centric networks are reshaping the business world. Through support, solidarity, and collaboration, they’re turning obstacles into stepping stones. As these networks continue to grow, they’ll provide a foundation of strength and innovation, showing the world what’s possible when women empower women.
Let’s show the #momseffect in action: lifting as we rise, and proving that success is always sweeter when it’s shared.

Frank Turek Interviews Mike Licona on Jesus' Resurrection | @CrossExamined
COMMENTARY:
Bart Ehrman is a propagandist for the Post Modern dialectical Marxism of the Jesus Seminar,, The Jesus Seminar may have begun as a materialistic inquiry into the components of the historical Jesus, but it has been hijacked by John Dominic Crossan as a Post Modern weapon against the British crown in Northern Ireland, Crossan is a charming Irish Fabian who is right out of the Polugh and the Stars and, for all intents and purposes, a chaplain for the IRA, His thesis is to equate Judea during the 1st Century before the destruction of the Temple to Ireland during the Potato Famine under John Bull. Among other things Jesus was transformational and not a revolutionary, The people around him may have been, but He wasn't, Jesus was preaching what has become Pauline Theology as interpreted by N.T. Wright and the subtext to His ethic, as captured in Romans 13:1 - 7, was that Israel should embrace Pax Romana and transform the governing construct of the pre-Saul Judges by retaining the separation of powrrs of Priest, Prophet and King, incorporating the King is a republican structure similar to the Roman Empire and include the People with a voice in the government structures. In words, pretty much the way Israel is organized today The Post Modern Historic Deconstruction is the ideological construct the Students for a Democratic Society imposed on the American university system after the occupation of Columbia to justify their avoidance of military service under the Seelctive Service System. They have a number of noble sounding rationalizations, but it basically came down to the fact that they were all scared shitless of going to Vietnam and/or interrupting their business career to play soldier for tow years like Elvis. The political strategy for the SDS was based on Trotsky's Insurgency Process that Castro had successfully implemented in Cuba . The Port Huron Statement in 1962 adopted this construct and actively exercised the dialectical Marxism in their expressed ideological methodology that resulted in the Police Riots in Chicago in 1968, Campus radicals like Jimmy Tabor employed these methods in their academic career to stay in school and avoid the draft , even after the draft ended with the All Volunteer Military, In the final analysis, Jimmy Tabor and Dom Crossan continue to advocate the radical agenda of the Weather Underground against the dominant social contract inherent in the federal government, The irony of course, is taht the pro-war Conservative draft dodgers from the 60s have adopted the Post Modern libertarian logic of William F. buckley and Ayn Rand and created the Supply Side economics of white supremacy that has dominated American governmetn policy since 1981 and led directly to the January 6 attempt at the hostile take=over of America, by MAGA Conservatives and the neo-Nazi Jesus Freaks of Christian Nationalism, The thing is, Bart Ehrman has become a useful idiot and force multiplier for Christian Nationalism with the moral confusion generated by his business model based on his unsubstantiated claims of textual corruption. Cornelius the centurion featured in Acts 10 is the author of the Gospel of Mark and it is anchored on Pilate's lost euangelion to Tiberius conveying the the Talking Cross as the ratification of the blood covenant between the god of Jesus and the centurions in the Italian Cohort as represented by Cornelius. We know from Tertullian that Pilate sent this euagelion as an intelligence report to Rome and that Tiberius acted upon it, We know from Tertullian that the Roman soldiers were calling Jewish Jesus Followers "Christians" before Jesus was arrested We also know that this euangelion emerged from the events reported in Mark 15:1 - 16:9 We can infer from the universal SOPs of a diplomatic/military mission such as Pilate's role in Judea would have generated such an euangelion and that the "Tidings of Joy" was the Talking Cross which has been captured in the Gospel of Peter which was Peter's reemergence of the contents of th euangelion as told to him by Cornelius off-stage in Acts 10 And we know that the euangelion that Peter employed to vet Paul's version of the Gospel included not only the Gospel of Peter but Peter's confession of Jesus's ministry contained in Acts 10: 34 - 43, which become the narrative arc of the Gospel of Mark and which validates Gary Habermas's thesis that Christian doctrine emerged immediately after the ascension and Pentecost. All of which squash the Post Modern fairy tale of Bart Ehram, Jimmy Tabor, and Dom Crossans Jesus Seminar into dialectical mush which attempts to substitute the premise that the Gospel of Mark is derivative of Pauline Theology and was written after the Jerusalem Apocalypse, The Jesus Seminar is like the Oliver Stone version of Vietnam: it is based on the ideological convenience of a political agenda to enforce the narrative of conventional wisdom in the same manner as the ""Stop the Steal" campaign of the January 6 Reason.

“Making people feel helpless, powerless, and hopeless is part of the propaganda. [...] I think we all need to become seriously mutinous.”
---
That candle is burning at both ends and down the middle, too.
It cannot all be laid at the door of resource-plundering or strategic thinking. Eventually it develops a momentum and a logic of its own.
As the storm builds, the ethno-nationalists are out harnessing the wind, giving each other courage. [...] While it is easy to take lofty moral positions, in truth, there is nothing simple about this problem. Because it is not a problem. It is a symptom of a great churning and a deep malaise. The assertion of ethnicity, race, caste, nationalism, sub-nationalism, patriarchy, and all kinds of identity, by exploiters as well as the exploited, has a lot - but of course not everything - to do with laying collective claim to resources (water, land, jobs, money) [...]. [I]f we allow our imaginations to be trapped within this matrix, and come to believe there is no other way of seeing things, [...] then we are bound to find ourselves in conflicts that spiral and spread and multiply and could very easily turn apocalyptic. [...]
Empire is not just an idea. It is a kind of momentum. An impetus to dominate that contains within its circuitry the inevitability of overreach and self-destruction.
---
In the spirit of the globalization of fascism, U.S. alt-right organizations are good friends of Hindu nationalists. Look to India, if you want to understand the world in microcosm. [...]
It is interesting that countries that call themselves democracies - India, Israel, and the United States - are busy running military occupations. [...]
As hatred is dripped into peoples’ souls, every day, with sickened hearts we wake up to Muslim-lynching videos put up on YouT*be by gloating vigilantes, news of Dalits being publicly flogged, [...] of thousands marching in support of people who have been arrested for rape, of those convicted for mass murder in the Gujarat pogrom being let out of jail while human rights defenders and thousands of indigenous people are in jail on charges of sedition, of children’s history textbooks being written by complete fools, of glaciers melting and of water tables plummeting [...].
But it is all OK, because we are buying more weapons from Europe and the United States than almost anyone else. So, India, which has the largest population of malnutritioned children in the world, where hundreds of thousands of debt-ridden farmers and farm laborers have committed suicide [...], is still being celebrated as one of the fastest growing economies in the world. [...]
Corporations are hosting happiness fairs and dissent seminars and sponsoring literature festivals in which free speech is stoutly defended by great writers. Dissent Is the Cool (and Corporate) New Way To Be.
What can we do about that? [...] [I]t makes you wonder whether real protest is even possible any more.

From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians, Part Two (full documentary) ..
COMMENTARY:
This documentary is a product of the Marxist agenda of the Jesus Seminar emerging for the radical Liberals of the 60s. This version of Jesus is a collateral agenda to intafa and the IRA, all the radical shit that came out of the Weather Underground and 1968, including the occupation of Columbian University by the SDS with the sort of Che Guevara's idiom of a Campus Radical sitting the chair Dwight Eisenhower occupied as an intense brain storming session before he became President, The political strategy of the SDS became the political model of Newt Gingrich and the demonstrated agenda of GOPAC and a force multiplier for William F. Buckley's agenda of Nazification that has surfaced into history's spotlight as the January 6 business strategy of a hostile take over of America. The Jesus Seminar is an agent of the spiritual agitation associated with the Pro-Like Calvinism of the neo-Nazi Jesus Freaks who identify themselves as Christian Nationalist. The Jesus Seminar is making it easy for the disciples of the anti-Christ white supremacists like MAGA Mike Johnson to get elected as a Trump clone. This is why the Koch brothers fund the liberal programing of PBS: the moral confusion created by this interpretation of Jesus sustains the theological food fight the Campus Crusade for Christ has created with the Deism of the Anglican tradition of George Washington and the gifts of the Magi, The Roman centurions of the administrative state of Pax Romana were God Fearers long before they had any real experience with Judaism, Before Jesus, The Romans didn't understand Jews willing to die over a dress code, but they recognized the integrity of their devotion, And they could see the prosperity that resulted from that community and its rituals. Jerusalem was like the Rodeo Drive of the geographic footprint of the Roman Pax Romana Retiring in the Galilee was part of Cornelius's career planning when he got interested in the neighborhood for raising a family, Cornelius was the Command Sergeant Major of Caesarea and Pilate's Chief of Staff. He was comfortable enough to track down Jesus in the middle of Capernaum by himself on personal business. Jesus didn't know anyone like this existed, much less among the Gentiles. That's what I get from the Gospels. Cornelius is the common denominator in the Gospels and Acts. He was in the room with Pilate during the interrogation of Jesus. Cornelius probably had the final say in the final shape of the Roman canon, This cannon as a literature is a direct result of the relation ship of the splitting of Jesus and the Talking Cross of the Gospel of PEter. Cronelius told Peter orally the contents of Pitlate's lost euangelion to Tiberius attested to by Tertullian regarding the tiding of joy regarding the covenant between the god of the Jews with the centurions of the Italian Cohort represented by Cornelius. Cornelius was justified by faith like Abram in Genesis 15:6 when Jesus was stunned to realize that they shared a common ontology, in Matthew 8:10. The Gospel of Peter is Peter's version of what he was told by Cornelius regarding Pilate's lost euangelion to Tiberius. The Gospels begin with Genesis 15:5 and they sketch and inerrant narrative trajectory based on the Roman 24 hour clock based on the 60 base numerology of the Magi, N.T. Wright's interpretation of Pauline Theology is the antidote. Both the Jesus Seminar and N/T/ Wright's theologies are the product of the Post Modern Historic Deconstruction of the disinformation of the Weather Underground, . It's like the choice between the liberal altruism of Hilllary Clinton or the Conservative Virtue of Selfishness of Ayn Rand. Speaking as an Eisenhower Republican, liberal altruism is the far more efficacious social contract than the selfishness of Fascism. Which is why the Koch brothers backed the liberal agenda of PBS: it is how the liberal agenda has been employed in the January 6 agenda since 1981 as useful idiots. Its like the Simpsons on FOX: a clever blurring of the boundaries between the dynamics of Democratic Socialism and the Nazification of Trump's vision of America. .
