Kyoryuzin Western & Kung Fu Combo Full Action Ver. Set
I would like it if they did the other main mechs from Kyoryuger in this style. I understand why they did these and are going to do Tobaspino, since they are mostly remolds. Pteragordon and Bragigas do have alternate color schemes they could do (the ones that appeared in Dino Force Brave) which would also mean we get Full Action versions of Brave Kyoryujin (which I would love; it's my favorite color scheme of any Sentai mech), but Plesuon only has the one color scheme. I suppose that if these do very well we might get them? But we probably won't.
Now, I do like these guys, but they are much simpler versions of the original DXs from 2013. They work well for what they're supposed to do, be small and lightweight versions to work with a posable Kyoryujin. I do wish the arms folded in a bit more, I do wish Zakutor and Parasagun's weapons were more obvious, but apart from that? Yeah, they're cute. I actually prefer these versions of Ankydon and Bunpachy. Ankydon's old hammer was originally held together by a small c-clip so it had a tendency to break and this one is a solid piece, and the real chain on Bunpacky feels better than the locked one. It's a give-and-take.
Overall, if you got Full Action Kyoryujin, then I can easily suggest these. While I think the original DX is a more fun toy, it's not posable and isn't as easily available. They're fun, they're cute, I hope they do more.

4 and 11 for toku asks!
Tokusatsu 20 Questions
11. Favorite henshin gimmick?
Sentai: The Go-Phone from Go-Onger. It can be used as a phone, allows the Go-Ongers to talk to their Engine partners, and one can add phone charms to them (Saki has charms on her Go-Phone in Go-Onger).
Kamen Rider: The Lockseeds from Kamen Rider Gaim. They all have sounds that I constantly replay in my head. I also like the origins/lore behind them, and how they were initially used to summon Inves exclusively by the Beat Riders until the Drivers were being sold. A bonus is that one can attach them onto things (in Gaim, Kouta attaches his Lockseeds to his pants with a Carabiner clip).
4. Thoughts on what you're currently watching/watched most recently?
This is a bit long so I’ll put it under this cut
Sentai:
Some quick thoughts on Kyoryuger (I am only 20 episodes in right now):
I love the designs of the Zyudenryu, especially Gabutyra, Ankydon, and Bunpachy.
I really liked how they didn't want to share their identities at first but then they all gradually revealed themselves.
The episode where they talked about grief really is a great episode, and I really appreciated how it was shown that Yuuko, who thought she was over her husband’s death was not. I like how this wasn't made out to make her out to be bad because she was still grieving but that she is allowed to grieve and miss her husband even if she thinks she should be past it.
I love the little dance they do when they transform, and how they do it every time, even if they’re being attacked.
I feel like we haven't really gotten to know all the characters that well. I feel like a lot more time is being put in the mission as opposed to the characters and this isn't a bad thing per se, but I do have trouble watching characters I don't know doing things. I feel like we only have extensive characterization for Nossan, Daigo, Ian, and Utchy, (we know their background, their motivations, their weaknesses, how they interact with others etc.) and only some characterization for Souji and Amy (only really know basic things like their hobbies, their work ethic, their family dynamics, how they interact with others, and the expectations on them). However, I have felt this way for other Sentai in the past, so I do not fault it for this as I do not know if it picks up later on like other Sentai have.
Kamen Rider:
Extremely brief thoughts on Ex-Aid:
The soundtrack is top tier and no one can tell me different.
Episode 39 was such a high tension episode and while it was stressful it is one of my favorites of the series.
I liked the discussions about death and how people should be able to live their lives to the fullest.
I really appreciated that there were multiple perspectives on how best to approach issues with a patient.
I think there were interesting discussions about atonement and forgiveness.
I actually like the Level 2 forms the most for Snipe and Ex-Aid.
Level 100 Taddle Legacy is really pretty and my favorite form for Brave.
The ending was a bit rushed, but I think it did most of what it wanted to do.
Hiiro and Taiga’s story arc is really nice, and I was really happy with how it ended.
Dan Kuroto is a character that exists.
Dan Masamune was kind of a weak villain in comparison to all the others in the series, but I do think he was interesting as a villain that is nothing without their powers/suit (if that makes sense).
I actually do like the Kamen Rider Chronicle arc, and I think that it was an important arc for a lot of characters to grow, especially Parad and Hiiro.

the funny thing is dino charge was actually probably the best zord line in recent memory. they didn't really skip over anything, and even released some original zords based on the 13 guardians. there were some cute repaints like a green parasagun and (ironically) a purple bunpachy in nod to dino thunder, and, probably the craziest one, a white minityra in reference to kyoryu 100 years after
dino charge the generous

Kyoryuger
Zyudenryu 00 - Tobaspino was the first of the Zyudenryu to be born, only able to be calmed by the song of Meeko's ancestor. Thought lost, it was corrupted by Deboss, and given a partner of sorts, the ersatz Deathryuger.
By forcibly taking control of Ankydon and Bunpachy, Deathryuger was able to combine the 3 into Spinodaioh, though all 3 were subsequently liberated by the Kyoryugers. Tobaspino and Spinodaioh appeared next in the sequel to film, an occasion that also brought together all 10 Kyoryugers for the first time, and later fought to defeat the clones of Deboss, defeating one, then going to another battle and forcibly forming Spinodaioh Western there as well. A true partner to Tobaspino would appear 100 Years After, KyoryuNavy.
Toqger
The Safari Ressha, piloted by Lady, ran on the Galaxy Line, which only returned to earth every 25 years. The miniature versions were used by the Toqger to gain special animal versions of their forms.
United the Ressha form Safari Gaoh which had bother robot and animal forms, even allowing Toqoh to ride it. The Galaxy Line would only appear again in the later team up, reporting the destruction of one of their stations in space.
A quick guide to Sentai Movie Mecha
In honour of the delayed release of the 20th summer movie, let us go over the last 20 years of Movie Mecha.
Gaoranger
GaoKong, guardian of the mysterious Island that is the movie's setting, currently being rules over by the 3 Duke Orgs, is reawakened.
By joining with GaoEagle, GaoShark, GaoBison, GaoTiger and GaoElephant, GaoKong forms GaoKnight, which defeats the Org brothers alongside GaoGod.
Hurricanger
The original TriCondor, 3 Karakuri Balls from space piloted by Lailana in order to defeat the enemies she lends their power to Senpuujin, Gouraijin and Tenkuujin, allowing Tenrai Senpuujin to be born for the first time. TriCondor will later be replicated by Oboro as part of the earth Karakuri Ball system, giving them permanent access to Tenrai Senpuujin.
Abaranger
Two legendary Bakuryu, Carnoryutus and Chasmoshieldon, a threat to all life on both Another Earth and Dino Earth, whom Galvidi aims to awaken and control with the BakuLaser.
The combine to form Bakurenoh, which is more than a match for Abarenoh, even stealing it's drill arm for itself. It is ultimate only defeated by all the Bakuryu, including the Evolian aligned TopGaler and StegoSlidon, joining together to for Killer Abarenoh, which defeats the giant with a hight speed arm swapping finish. Bakurenoh returned later in the series, but was far easier defeated.
Dekaranger
The Blast Buggy is part of the DekaMachine arsenal of the DekaBase on Planet Leslie. While held by popular fanon to be the DekaMachine of DekaGold, it has only been seen piloted by DekaBreak, who recovered it during his investigation into the Algolians on the planet.
Due to being a universal model, Blast Buggy is able without modification to combine with Dekaranger Robo into the Full Blast Custom loadout, equipped with a shield with a knife and a powerful new gun.
Magiranger
Unigolon, the one time partner of Blagel, the Magiranger's father, first joined MagiRed in his quest to save Yamazaki Yuka from Infershia. When ridden in battle by MagiPhoenix, Unigolon's power transforms him into Saint MagiPhoenix.
By combining together they form SaintKaiser able to join the other Mecha to defeat the Infershia forces. Unigolon returns one further time to assist Kai in another battle.

Kyoryuger Week Day 4 - Kung-Fu Set
The Good: These guys probably have the coolest Zyudenchi gimmicks, with the giant flip-out hammer and the ball-and-chain. It’s also neat that this set is a bipedal and a quadrupedal dinosaur while the other two are two of each.
The Bad: They’re just repeats of what we’ve already seen. While the gimmicks are neat, there’s nothing really new or interesting about them.
Overall, these are probably the most skipable of all the Kyoryuger toys. You might want Bunpachy for Bakuretsu Kyoryujin, but it’s not completely necessary for it, either. I got them for completionists sake, but you shouldn’t feel any obligation to do so.
