Hydrangea en Masse, in a vase - A favourite for Mum
Our hydrangea is looking incredibly beautiful at the moment. Locally grown in stunning Pink, Autumnal Blue and White/Green colour palettes, it is the pick of the season.
Bright blue is not available this week, we have a very beautiful soft baby blue.
Our talented florists will choose the best on the day and arrange in a vase.
Beautifully presented the Copper Beech way.
We include a vase as hydrangeas like a constant water source.
other additions are a beautiful candle to compliment and chocolates

Flowers from the Demon Brothers
Let’s imagine the brothers find a flower dealer that specializes in human realm flowers and they get you some as a present, hoping the flowers would be a nice reminder of home. Halfway through, I realized this was getting long so the other brothers are under the cut.
Belphegor
Tumblr media
Hellebore - Protection, anxiety relief, also scandal if you’re cheeky.
He just so happened to pass the stall and the flowers caught his eye.
He wandered over and felt the petals, they were soft and wondered how you would react if he got them for you.
Belphie bought the bouquet, brought it home, and set it up in a vase.
He was admiring his work from across the room when a wave of exhaustion washed over him. Surely he would have time for a quick nap before you were home.
The only thing was there was no such thing as a quick nap with Belphie.
When you got home, you went straight to his room like you usually did. You noticed the flowers and were marveling that they were human realm flowers in Devildom when you heard a voice from the bed, “Do you like them?”
You turned to smile at Belphie, “I do! Where did you get them?”
He shrugged, leaving it up to your imagination.
You joined him on the bed to snuggle up for an afternoon nap.
As he wrapped you up, in the shelter of his arms, you felt the worries of the day melt away.
Beelzebub
Tumblr media
Chrysanthemum - Cheer, longevity, and happiness, even during what may be difficult times. Can also convey loyal love, hope and cherished friendship.
Beel passed the seller on the way home from the market.
He was gnawing on a lollipop when the bright colors caught his attention. Definitely not because they looked like candy on a stick like his lollipop.
Then he smelled their distinct scent. It was different than anything he had smelled in Devildom. The seller noticed his interest and came over to explain they were human realm flowers. Immediately he thought of you so he asked to buy a flower.
He walked home with a bag of food in one hand and twisting the flower in his other hand. The more he looked at it, the more he thought it looked like you: small, bright, delicate and beautiful.
When he got home he went to the kitchen to put the groceries away and found you waiting for him. “Beel! You’re late, where were you?” You looked up from your homework on the counter. Your eyes found the flower quickly and your eyes sparkled.
“There was this flower stall,” He began, putting down the bag of food, “the merchant said they come from the human realm, do you recognize it?”
You nodded but your eyes had not left the flower, “It’s called a chrysanthemum or mum for short. You probably didn’t know but humans assign meanings for flowers and that one is perfect for you.”
“What’s it mean?” he asked as he tilted his head.
“Cheer, longevity, and happiness,” you smiled up at him, “all things I would wish for you!”
He blushed and offered, “I actually got it for you, although I didn’t know it had another meaning.” He handed the flower over to you and you took it gently, smelling it with a sweet smile.
Asmodeus
Tumblr media
Delphinium - Lightness, brightness and everything delightful. Lightheartedness and vivacity.
The wall of flowers caught Asmo’s eye at market.
The vendor mentioned the flowers were from the human realm.
Asmo ended up buying the whole thing. He was already planning on using the flowers as a background for a photoshoot for Devilgram since no one would be able to compare.
To his credit, you were the first person he texted, “MC, you’ll never guess what I got today!”
Your reply came back quick. “Hmm, a new makeup?”
Asmo enjoyed that you actually tried to guess unlike his useless brothers that refused to humor him, “Nope~ it’s something super rare! If you want to see, come to my room in an hour~”
He took the flowers home and set them up on his vanity to create a beautiful backdrop. He was just adjusting the last bunch as you opened the door. “Ta Da~”
You covered your mouth and gasped, “Asmo!”
“I told you, you would never guess!” Asmo laughed at your surprised face. “I saw these in the market today and when the trader said they came from the human world, I just had to have them!” He plucked one from the vase and brushed it along your cheek to tease, “you can have one if you help me get the perfect picture.”
Satan
Tumblr media
Blue Salvia - Healing and thoughtfulness, spiked with wisdom. “I always think of you.”
Satan had been reading in a Cafe when the flower seller set up in front of the window.
The flowers caught his eye as he sipped his tea. They remind him of a recent book he had read.
After finishing his beverage, he went to ask the vendor about the flowers to quell his curiosity.
The vendor advised that they were from the human realm symbolizing healing and wisdom. Satan thought of you having some sniffles last week and although he wasn’t particularly superstitious he bought a few.
He hummed as he inspected the flowers on the way back to the house. He contemplated picking up a book on flowers to learn about other flowers and their meanings.
“Satan!” You called out, getting up from the couch in the living room.
“MC, I was just looking for you,” he chuckled as he watched your attention shift from him to the flowers. “I saw these while out today and got them for you.”
Your eyes grew big as you accepted the gift. “Thank you, Satan, human realm flowers in Devildom, who would have thought!” Then you got a great idea, “can I borrow an unimportant book?”
Satan’s eyebrow raised, not following your train of thought, “that depends.” You grabbed his arm and began dragging him to his room, excited you get to show/teach him how to press flowers.
Leviathan
Tumblr media
Sweet Pea -  Pleasure and gratitude, “Thank you for the time we spent together.”
Levi heard about the flower seller through social media. He scrolled through the customer photos and then found a link to the seller’s website.
It had only been a passing interest until he found the Sweet Pea. The arrangement reminded him of you both in name and looks. He placed an order to have it delivered to the house addressed to you.
When the flowers arrived and they were handed over to you, he reveled in your phases of bewilderment and curiosity.
“I wonder who sent these? It’s so rare to see human realm flowers in Devildom,” You smiled as you smelled the flowers.
After the other brothers had dispersed from the common room, Levi stayed trying to build the courage to tell you it was him that sent them.
“Levi,” he jumped at your voice, “did you see the flowers? Who do you think sent them? Maybe some secret admirer?”
He blushed deeply but somehow you missed it, “Maybe some normie,” he mumbled and looked away.
“Did you know that the Sweat Pea symbolizes pleasure and gratitude? It’s kind of like saying, ‘Thank you for the time we have spent together.’“
Levi looked back at you, you were hugging the vase with a big smile plastered on your face. He found it fitting that he was thankful in the moment and smiled himself.
Mammon
Tumblr media
Lisianthus - Gratitude, charm, and an everlasting bond. Used with public shows of affection, sometimes used in proposals.
He was working a modeling job and they brought human world flowers on set as props. After the shoot, Mammon asked if he could take a few home and the prop master allowed it since the flowers would not keep.
You were his human, so these human flowers were the perfect gift! No one would be able to get you a better present; he was so proud.
He went straight to your room when he got back and found you lounging on your back in your bed reading a magazine, “Mammon! You should have texted me you were done, I could have met you downstairs,” you rolled to your stomach and closed the magazine as you continue, “how did the shoot go?” Then you saw the flowers in his hand and blushed, “where did you get those?”
Mammon laughed haughtily, “Surprised the Great Mammon got you some human realm flowers?”
“You got those for me?” You sat up.
“Of course,” he smiled sweetly and extended his arm with the simple bouquet.
You didn’t move right away but shook your head and stood up to accept them without a word. “Are you so amazed you’re speechless?” Mammon teased.
With a laugh and a deepening blush you answered, “It’s just... this type of flowers are sometimes used in proposals in the human realm.” Now his blush was as deep and red as your own.
Lucifer
Tumblr media
Orchid - Refinement, thoughtfulness and mature charm. Romantic love with racy connotations.
Lord Diavolo had been raving about the approval of the human realm flower vendor to help bring another level of integration from the other realms to Devildom.
To ensure that the cart was operating respectfully, since they had Lord Diavolo’s approval, Lucifer stopped by. It seemed that the flowers were popular among the demon population. Lucifer found himself shaking his head; he shouldn’t have doubted that this venture would have ended up any different than Lord Diavolo had intended.
One particular flower caught his eye, he remembered the flower’s name: Orchid. He then remembered the first time that he saw them with Lilith on a trip to the human realm. It was centuries ago now but it made him nostalgic. Next he was thinking about you and your connection to Lilith, he wondered if you would enjoy them so he bought a bouquet.
Although he didn’t show it, he felt a little foolish walking through the streets with the flowers, hoping no one he recognized saw him, making him explain his purchase.
When he got back to the House of Lamentation, some sense told him to go through the garden, so he did. He found you laying out on the lawn on a blanket reading a book. He hid the bouquet behind his back.
“MC,” he said and you startled.
“Hello Lucifer!” You stood to greet him, your clothes a little wrinkled from laying on them, you began to explain, “I was just reading and getting some air, it was such a nice day, if felt a waste to be inside.”
“You’re not in trouble, as long as you don’t leave the property, you don’t need an escort. Actually I was calling on you for a different reason.”
You looked at him expectantly, willing to hear him out whatever it was. He took pleasure in your eagerness. He revealed the bouquet from behind his back and your face lit up. “I thought you might like these.” You nodded and took them delicately. He smiled softly as you smelled the flowers with your eyes closed and hummed in approval.

Anemone - Dramione
September was always Hermione's favorite time of year. It was the time where the weather was no longer too hot nor was it too cold. It was the perfect weather. Her birthday was also in September, which made the month a little more sentimental – that's what Ginny had said anyway. But her favouirte thing about September was not because of the weather, nor her birthday. It was because the flower's sprung in September. It was the time where all the flowers bloomed, it was the time that marked the beginning of something new. Something fresh.
On her birthday, every year – since fourth year – she received her favorite flowers. Anemones. She would be sitting in the common room completing her homework or reading a book when an owl would fly through the window dropping a bunch of Anemones on her lap. Fourth year, she smiled brightly thinking it was Viktor who had sent her the flowers. Fifth year, her smile contorted. She thought perhaps Viktor may have sent it, but he had sent her a letter the night before wishing her a Happy Birthday. The flowers were never signed. They never came with parchment telling her who it came from. Eventually – after hours of staring at the flowers and wondering who could have sent her the flowers – she resorted back to Ron. Maybe he was the one who sent it the year before, too.
Sixth year she wasn't sitting in her common room, nor was she reading a book. She was in the Astronomy tower when a dark owl came swooping in, delivering the flowers – this time with a letter. She patted the owl as she gently removed the flowers from its mouth. He flew away and left her with a letter and blue Anemones. Her favorite. Sitting down, resting her back against the rails, she opened the letter.
Happy Birthday.
She smiled, placing the letter on the floor. She took hold of the flowers and inhaled the scent of the freshly picked flowers. Ron truly was beautiful. That night, she placed her flowers into a white vase she conjured and placed it on her bedside table. She then went down to the awfully quiet common room, sitting between her two best friends as they discussed this year's person of interest. Draco Malfoy.
"-was there one minute and the next, he was gone," Harry said, staring intently and Ron. "I think he's using the room of requirement."
"Draco Malfoy, I presume?" Hermione asked Ron, he nodded. She smiled at him and mouthed a quick 'thank you'. His eyebrow quirked upwards, nevertheless he replied with a simple 'anytime'.
September 22nd, 2000
This year was the second year since the war. The second year she wasn't looking forward to Autumn. The second-year without Ron. He had died in the Battle of Hogwarts, alongside Tonks, Lupin and Snape. It was the second year she was sitting in her apartment, on the armchair and staring out the window at the leaves that huddled around the large tree beside her apartment block. Her cheeks stained with hour old tears and her eyes swollen. She had begun working at the Ministry at the beginning of February last year and had been working all year for six days a week, minus public holidays. Today was a Thursday and she had decided to stay home. She never stayed home.
As she was staring out the window, the familiar owl came flying toward her – as usual – she gently opened the window and let the owl in. This year, instead of blue Anemones, they were red. Her eyebrows curled upward. She patted the owl and let it out before closing the window and sitting on the armchair again.
"Blue flower's symbolises hope and the beauty of things – if one is to send you these, it characterizes their respect for your beauty," she recited the words her mother told her when she was younger. She inhaled the scent of the flowers, hoping to give an indication of whom sent them. "If they send you red flowers, it symbolises desire and forsaken love. It's a way of sending their heart away, just without the strings." Her mother always used to say things like that to her when she was younger. Perhaps it was just the way she was brought up, but she believed it. She also remembered her mum telling her that the person who never forgets your birthday is a person worth keeping. And this person was just that. Even after the war concluded, there were always flowers waiting for her.

Hold the front page, i have blogged!!
Well i don’t know about you but this blog writing is harder than it looks, i read blogs, admire my fellow florists who write them, i talk about writing them, but i still don’t bloody do it. So this virus has me a little lost and out of sorts with no weddings until July, there are only so many times you can re paint the studio door, so now i am going to write a few posts! i am i promise!! So i thought i would start from the top and write one about me and introduce myself and my crew to those who don’t know us. We are a mad bunch so apologies to start.
Hi, i am Jo, i am the owner of Issy & Bella Floral Design, i am the wrong side of 40, mad as a box of frogs, swear way to bloody much, love all things flowery, gin and making peoples day with my flowers. Also do like a spot of knitting!!
So the first thing people ask is; are you Issy or Bella? well neither my name is Joanne Isabel and my mums name is Isabel Joyce. When i first started my journey back to the flowers after 17 years on the corporate wheel for Starbucks coffee company, we needed a business name, and i called it ‘Isabelle Flowers’ got all the marketing bits of vista print, started a website and all the jazz, but when all the business cards etc arrived i bloody hated it, it didn't look right, just didn't sound or look me.
So over a Gin and Tonic ( my favourite tipple) myself and mum thrashed out various names and by gin number 2, Issy and Bella was born! Well it wasn't hard its the same name just pulled apart and put back together in a fashion. So there you have it, and 5 years later and hundreds of beautiful weddings down the line, Issy and Bella has grown and the name is still right and i love it.
Tumblr media
Business wise there is me, Jo, i am the face of the business i do all the admin, bridal consultations, quotes, wedding designs, flower orders, accounts, and put together, set up and clear down all the weddings, we flower over 70 weddings a year. I make every single bridal and maids bouquets myself. But i couldn't do this on my own, there is Mum who is now behind the scenes doing the planting and growing of all the lovely flowers we use during the summer months. Then there is Jenna my right hand women of 3 years, Jenna is freelancer and a business women/flower grower in her own right, check out @flower_and_forage on instrgram, Jen is amazing she has learnt my style and just rocks out the flowers, arches, crowns and more, i couldn't do it without her talent or her ability to keep me sane when life and working 7 days a week for 52 weeks a years gets too much.

Tumblr media
Mum and Jenna! what they do on their days off, typically on the gin!!
And when wedding season kicks off another Jo comes and helps out and she is a bloody blast, keeps us all laughing and works like a trooper helping us setup big wedding. Then we also have my nephew George who comes and helps in the summer holidays ( but only if there is sweet cart at the wedding, we always nicks a few) and then my dear dad who at 84 is as fit as a butchers dog, is my Sunday helper and travels around the country with me pulling down all the arches, collecting vases etc, he loves sitting in the big van because he can do some farming over the hedges.
Tumblr media
Jo and Jen sorting the flat tyre, team work at its best..
Tumblr media
The mother and father-ship, not bad for a pair of over 80′s
Then there is Rich my other half, not sure how he puts up with me during wedding season, but he does and he helps out at the big weddings that need some muscle and being an engineer when i need something to balance form a ceiling or marquee he is my man, and i am always wanting something built or have an idea but don’t know how to make it happen, and he makes it happen.
Tumblr media
Rich doing what he does best.
And last but my no means least there is Willow my spaniel who comes to most weddings with us if she can squeeze in the van, she is a flower dog to the bone and sits in her chair everyday watching me flower weddings, she is also named after my favourite tree. And when Jen is not here willow keeps me sane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media

So that’s us team Issy and Bella, i will starting blogging about weddings, starting with the seasons and the lovely weddings we do in each one. Hope this was an ok read.
Cheers Peeps

There are in my experience two kinds of people the ones who plan ahead carefully and are ready for things and the last minuters. I’m going to be honest. I’m naturally a last minuter and there’s nowhere that this is more obvious than with presents. Lily and Cass usually save me from myself but I tend to be last minute on my presents. When I was contacted with the idea of reviewing a last minute Mothers Day bouquet and gift I was interested. I’ve never been one to send flowers and I was curious to see if it was actually both viable and something that would last for more than a couple of days. Flowers by their very nature are an ethereal gift and therefore one that I’d not normally consider.
I was very unlucky with timing and the flowers were ordered just before the Beast From the East arrived and blocked all the roads with snow. Prestige was able to adapt and the flowers came well packed with the gifts holding the flowers in place. They were generally of good quality with a single deadhead in the bunch and an attractive and full scent. The package included a pack of flower food and simple enough instructions that even I was able to get them cut and into a vase. I’m writing this four days after the flowers have arrived and while they’re clearly not perfect anymore they’re still good enough to take a close inspection to see the flaws.
The package also came with a number of extras – a bear, vase, card and chocolate! The bear passed Cass’s snuggle test being both soft and cuddlable and chocolates are always welcome. There are several options available for other gifts including balloons, 3D pop-up cards and bonbons.
Let me cut to the chase – if you’re reading this on Thursday, Friday or even Saturday morning you can still get flowers and a small gift delivered. If my mother is reading this (“Hi Mum!”) I’m afraid this wasn’t what I got for you! Flowers and chocolate have their downsides. They don’t last long and their environmental credits are sketchy, but if you, like myself, often leave these things to the last minute, this is a takes-two-minutes present that will show that you are thinking of them and that you love them.
Flowers and chocolates are a very traditional gift and as such, most mothers will welcome it and appreciate your gesture of thoughtfulness. It’s very hard to go wrong with this and the fact that you can have it delivered anywhere in the UK at the last minute could be a relationship saver!

MIKEY’S PERSONAL BLOG 52, May 2017
On Monday morning, I had my Healthy Cooking on a Budget course at Balla Balla Community Centre in Cranbourne East. This week we made a lentil and pasta soup, macaroni  and cheese, foccacia bread with rosemary and a risotto. On paper, it seemed like a lot of dishes to cook in two hours but thankfully we shared duties as a group and it was easier to manage. We learned a lot of different skills including kneading dough, cutting vegetables, frying and using chicken stock. It actually feels good to be able to make my own simple meals and not spend a fortune on the ingredients. Plus it’s much healthier than buying packaged foods. http://www.ballaballa.com.au/progra...
On Monday afternoon, I started working through Lesson 4 of my online Wellbeing course through the MindSpot Clinic. This lesson focused on dealing with the behavioural symptoms of anxiety and depression which include avoidance and safety behaviours. We tend to avoid things due to fear and low energy. By using the technique of Graded Exposure, the symptoms can gradually be reduced over time. There’s also a really helpful guide on assertive communcation which is something I still find difficult to do at times. http://www.counsellingconnection.com/...
On Monday night, I had my strength training session with Luke Davey at Breakaway Fitness. I was feeling a bit run down probably due to the sudden change of weather but unless I’m sick to the point where I literally can’t get out of bed, then I’m gonna keep living my life. I recently learned that UFT - CrossFit Fountain Gate will be closing in a couple of weeks and all the personal trainers will be moving to UFT PLAYgrounds in Berwick. Of course the one thing that was dwelling on my mind was the possibility of bumping into my former personal trainer Nick Bradbury again.
For the record, I have forgiven him and moved on. However, part of me has been worrying that he still has unresolved issues towards me and that bumping into him will be awkward. But Luke has assured me that everything will be fine and I trust him. I genuinely want to get along with Nick and let go of everything that happened last year. I hate conflict and I’m way too old to hold onto stupid grudges. I’d rather make peace and love.
I had a pretty good session tonight. Once again, I was overthinking a bit especially when Luke asked me what I did in my spare time. I hesitated so much worrying that he’d think I’m a boring person but upon reflection, it’s simply not true. I enjoy reading, doing art, shopping, going to the movies, yoga, meditation, coffee dates with Mum and of course fitness classes.
The truth is that I still get really hard on myself in moments like this and honestly I do try my best to keep myself actively busy and productive during the week. Of course, sometimes my depression and anxiety can interfere and therefore I tend to procrastinate due to lack of motivation and low energy. Sometimes getting out of bed is an achievement for me. But I do try and do activities every day. https://www.facebook.com/breakawayf...
WARM-UP...Tonight’s warmup exercises included hip opening stretches, weighted squat holds, weighted butterfly hold and weighted glute bridges. I was struggling a bit with my squat holds due to my hips being really tight and not quite finding the right position to hold myself in but otherwise the rest of the exercises were fine.
DEVELOPMENT...Tonight I got to do weighted back squats again, doing 5 rounds of 5. I’m slowly learning to keep my chest lifted and my weight evenly placed into my heels. Otherwise, I think I’ve improved heaps since I last did them.
WORK-OUT...Tonight’s workout involved 3 rounds of the following exercises: 200m rows, 10 ring rows, 10 wall balls and 5 burpees. Luke set a goal time of 12 minutes for me. My performance tonight was a mixed bag. I smashed the rowing machine and was finally strapping myself in and out without being a klutz. I made the ring rows more difficult than they needed to be but eventually got through them.
My wall balls were all over the shop. I’ve never been that great at throwing a ball so it was really inconsistent and difficult to catch at times. My burpees however have improved tremendously. I feel a lot more confident about doing them now than when I first started doing crossfit training. Overall, I did pretty well and finished the workout in just over 10 minutes. The fact that I’m trying and not giving up is proof that I am good enough.
On Friday morning, Mum and I went down to Springvale Botanical Cemetery to pay respects to my late Grandma Mrs. Yvonne Margaret Dixon. We dropped into the on site florist and bought a couple of bunches of mixed flowers plus a small balloon and a tiny teddy bear of a stick. At the burial site, Mum played several songs on her phone from Glen Campbell, Elton John and George Michael whilst placing the flowers and gifts inside the plastic vase containers. It was a beautiful tribute, letting her know that she’s gone but not forgotten.
On Friday afternoon, I treated Mum with an early Mother’s Day present...lunch at the Cafe Vita et flores (Springvale, Victoria, Australia). We shared some scones, coffees and chicken salad wraps together, sitting near the wall-mounted fireplace. It’s been a really tough year for me financially so I really couldn’t afford to buy mum a lot but I can tell that she appreciated it. http://cafevita.org.au/cafe/
On Friday night, I went to see the new Alien film entitled Alien: Covenant at Village Cinemas Fountain Gate. Part of me was feeling conflicted at the fact that I had nobody to go with despite trying to put the interest out there. My social life has been rather dull and non-existent lately and so this has really impacted negatively on my mental health. It may come across as me being an attention-seeking sad sack but the truth is that I’ve been lonely and independent my whole life mainly because I’ve been forced to be that way. I really don’t have many friends who want to hang out with me socially and that’s my reality.
Alien: Covenant takes place 10 years after the events of Prometheus (2012) with the crew of the colony ship named Covenant being pre-maturely woken from their cryosleep. After discovering a ghost transmission from an unknown planet, the crew decide to investigate the source of the signal and see whether this planet is worthy to build a new civilization of human life. On the surface, the planet seems uninhabited and yet contains similar Earth-like conditions including a water source, weather systems, mountainous terrain and vital food crops. But naturally, nothing is as it seems.
Director Ridley Scott (Prometheus, Alien) takes us down a familiar road here in terms of the human vs. alien fight scenes but he manages to deliver plenty of gore and slow building dread leading up to those pivotal moments. The connections between this film and Prometheus are well handled with the concepts of creationism and the origins of life being further explored here. We also find out what happened to Dr. Elizabeth Shaw from the previous film.
Michael Fassbender reprises his role as the synthetic android David and he also plays the cloned counterpart of crew member Walter. This is very much the stand out performance as he manages to make each character very distinct. Katherine Waterston delivers a strong performance as Daniels which mirrors the female lead of Ripley from the original Alien film. And there’s also a brief cameo from Guy Pierce playing Peter Weyland in the opening sequence. Overall, a really solid entry in the Alien franchaise.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2316204...
On Saturday morning, my parents and I met up with my Aunty and Uncle at the Rochester Car Show. I’ve never really been interested in cars so I was worried that I would get bored quite easily. Quite a few blokes were rocking black leather bikie jackets and looked rather intimidating so I stuck close with my family. They had a large collection of classic cars and bikes on display from Ford Falcons and Mustangs to Porsches and Harley Davidsons. They also had a jumping castle, sausage sizzle, pony rides and even camel’s milk samples.
On Saturday night, we hung out in the outdoor living area designed by my Uncle Warren. It featured a plasma TV, wall unit, outdoor dining setting, fold out chairs, a BBQ and plenty of beer. We lit up some fire pits with logs, twigs and fire lighters before the temperature dropped and settled in for the night, watching an AFL game between Collingwood and GWS before putting the Suicide Squad DVD on.
On Sunday afternoon, we celebrated Mother’s Day by having a buffet lunch down at the Kyabram Club. For $25 a head, we certainly got our money’s worth. There was soup, roast vegetables, roast lamb, roast pork, chicken nuggets, chips, calarami rings, slices of pizza, apple crumble, ice-cream, pavlova, fruit salad, chocolate mousse and cheesecake.
Today was completely guilt-free for me though I was being mindful about not overloading my plate on each serving. Despite getting over being sick all week, I’m glad that I was able to take time off work and spend Mother’s Day with my family.
