Wooden shutters vs blinds- which one is better?
If you plan to install a window treatment to add beauty to your home, wooden shutters and blinds in Riverside could be great options.
Shutters can easily make your space feel classy and increase the value of your home. Their solid and beautiful appearance can indicate their quality. While choosing this window covering, you can get plenty of options. For example- you can find custom colors to choose the best color available to suit your home decor. On the other hand, wooden blinds come in different ranges of colors or styles. You can get more options in this case.
If we speak about the cost of these treatments, wooden blinds are cheaper than shutters. Consider adding blinds to your home if you want affordable window treatment options.
Window blinds with high-quality materials can offer many more benefits, such as increased privacy, better ease of use, effortless style, etc. On the other hand, shutters are designed to last longer. Many people consider shutters as the smart choice.
Depending on your requirements and choice, you can install wooden shutters or blinds in Riverside. Make sure you buy the window coverings from a renowned company.

Tips To Choose The Best Window Treatments in Roseland
When it comes to styling your new home in Roseland, you cannot ignore the perfect design and fabric quality of window treatments. You can achieve endless possibilities for your every room by choosing shades, shutters, curtains, and more. Therefore, to avoid installing basic and boring shades, here we help you with some pro tips to choose the perfect window treatment for your home:
Never compromise with the quality: Every homeowner wants to save money; however, you should not compromise on the quality of your shades or curtains. Good quality shades come with longer life and fit with your space ideally to give a pleasant look.
Determine the correct length: To decide the length of your shades, first, you must consider how frequently you open and close your shades because a longer fabric may create a less functional look.
Consider your home’s insulation feature: If you wisely choose the fabrics, many window treatments help you to make your home more energy efficient and save money. For this, you can consider cellular shades that won’t let the cold air in winter and hot air in summer penetrate your home.
Avoid choosing different looks for different rooms: Try to use similar window treatments for every room for a home to feel cohesive. For example, you can go for the natural color shades in your home for a continuity and elegant look.

Do you get the impression the live action is treating us like utter morons?? Like I thought that making it aimed at an older audience would open the doors for more subtle story telling, but no, they're just using monologues to tell us eveything! Like in the second episode Katara's like 'oh his power isn't that he's the avatar, it's that he ~connects~ to people'. Girl we're not idiots we can see that!! And the first episode with Aang's goddawful 'I don't want this responsibility' monologue
THIS, YES. The word that keeps coming to mind is definitely "subtlety". The show for literal children? Had it. The remake for adults? Not so much.
#This is literally Storytelling 101: Show Don't Tell#I'm sorry scriptwriters I know you were working before your union won minimal staffing in writers' rooms and decent pay and all that#but You Know What You Did#Also cgi artists plz unionize#A few more hours on Momo would have maybe taken him further out of the nightmare monkey puppet category#I know some people are reporting him as cute#But all I can see is a creature from the Magnus Archives#that thing is the skin of Momo being worn by something that doesn't quite move right underneath#And maybe it is looking for a better fit#Don't let it touch you adorable child actor Aang#avatar the last airbender#atla#natla#Anyone looking to block the live action posts I'll be tagging all of these with that natla tag going forward#But yeah not going to post about it much#I came I saw I deemed it not worth the hours of my life it asked#I can literally write a better Avatar AU than this#Anyway back to Toph beating up Blind Zuko!#*write write write"#(their big budget fanfic can't hurt me it can only introduce more fans to the original)

One thing I think about sometimes is that there's a dialogue chain in one of Ratio's text messages where he sends us the blueprints for what he explicitly describes as "an anti-planetary weapon design that [he] once devised," which apparently comes with the potential to turn into a full-on gundam???? He says that the necessary materials haven't been developed yet, but that the Guild is working on it and should have results within the next five Amber Eras.
For those who've read his third character story, the phrasing of "anti-planetary weapon" should register as both familiar and odd, especially considering how blasé he is in describing it to the Trailblazer.
My read on the character story is that the creation of the anti-planetary weapon was (whether consciously or not) a compromise to his principles in pursuit of Nous's gaze, and that the IPC's interest in said weapon was his reality check that he didn't want to become the sort of person who pursued knowledge without regard for human life. Even if you don't take that reading, Ratio is more than smart enough to recognize that the IPC can and has used threats like the Antimatter Legion and the Swarm as excuses to develop and unleash weapons with galaxy-scale collateral damage. (See: the Imaginary pulse weapon in this side quest on Penacony.)
When we ask for a weapon for the Express, Ratio tells us that high-caliber armaments are a necessity for traversing the cosmos, which isn't exactly wrong in light of how we deal with Sunday in Penacony, but turning the train into a battering ram is a far cry from turning it into something that could destroy a planet. The fact that the projected timeline is on a scale of Amber Eras suggests to me that he's being at least somewhat facetious about the idea of a collaboration, especially since the whole reason we're having the conversation is that he wanted us to lob thought experiments at him to distract him from work stress. But he does send us a blueprint file, and the terminology of an "anti-planetary weapon" (specifically one he designed in the past, rather than at our request) feels way too specific to be a coincidence.
I have a pet theory that the gundam design is a form of malicious compliance toward the IPC, and the reason the Guild can't even figure out the materials is because he deliberately handed them a nightmare monstrosity of a blueprint and then refused to elaborate.
(The bill of materials casually demands components that break the laws of physics. There are whole pages of math so complicated no one can parse enough of it to conclusively prove that it's bullshit and not just the revolutionary innovations of a man five Amber Eras ahead of his time. The research team sends a terrified intern to ask if the orbital laser cannon really needs to turn into a humanoid assault mech. He shakes his head and tells them that if they truly understood his work then they wouldn't ask such pointless questions.)
#dr ratio#honkai star rail#character analysis#character headcanons#meta#'expect fruitful outcomes within the next five amber eras' he says as he gleefully clogs the ipc's munitions budget#i may not subscribe to worm theory but this man is absolutely a troll that would make aha weep tears of joy#the funding keeps getting approved because everyone is too proud to admit they don't know what the hell they're looking at#and too blinded by hero worship to suggest that maybe the great dr ratio created a stupid-ass weapon design

I got a government grant from a clean air project for turning in my '97 Corolla for a very hefty chunk of money off of a new (or new-ish) hybrid vehicle from an approved dealership, finally went to purchase my new car today with my dad, and ended up getting a 2025 Toyota Camry SE.
Sorry, Alastor, I think I'm with Vox on the front of technological advancement, ahaha. It's almost a 30 year jump in car technologies and I damn well feel like I've upgraded into the new century (or, well - millennium, technically)! This car does so many things and they all manage to feel like they are actually convenient rather than useless technology bloat. I think this is technically what Nietzsche meant when he said that to live is to suffer, LOL. Can't appreciate the good stuff if you haven't experienced the alternative! Also, y'know. My breaks lost pressure on me in the middle of a winding mountain road with no cell service last month, so. That was the sign to move on.
It's so wild to go from a car that's got a plain metal key, a phone charger operated through the cigarette lighter that only succeeds in making my phone lose charge more slowly, an AC system that would vibrate the whole dashboard alarmingly if it had to work too hard, and music that I played through a casette tape with bluetooth connectivity...to a car where I get in, put my phone down on the wireless charging pad, and watch the touchscreen automatically turn on with my Spotify and Google maps. Never again am I going to accidentally leave my headlights on and drain my car battery, LOL. Thanks, battery-attached jumper cables, you served me well. The car is so damn quiet and smooth, too.
Also, it's a very pretty car! I got it in white. Sorry, "windchill pearl."
Anyway, I'm just experiencing a delightful bit of awe and joy. Happy graduation and early birthday to me! <3
#personal#dear diary#my birthday's tomorrow on the 22nd so the timing on this was great#I was gonna get a corolla hybrid but we straight up could not find one in any of the grant-approved dealerships#and my dad convinced me to go for the camry instead and is helping me pay what the monthly payments are over my planned budget#for the next 3 years until I make attending physician money and can just pay the thing off posthaste#I'm also excited for dynamic cruise control instead of regular basic cruise control#and the safety features have already come in handy for pinging at me when a dude with a moped swerved into my blind spot#getting things squared away at the dealership took many hours so I had no energy to write today but man am I pleased as punch

OPLA Baratie not having Sanji witness the Zoro vs Mihawk even though that moment is important to his character development (no, having a last-minute conversation with Zeff doesn’t make up for it) is the number 1 reason I side-eye anyone who claims OPLA Baratie arc is superior to the animanga version. I get it, “adaptations can’t be one-to-one!” but there was NO good reason for this change, Sanji could’ve just followed them outside wouldn’t have been hard, it’s inexcusable and I’m sick of people calling it “nitpicking” or “being a hater” every time someone makes this very legitimate criticism. I’ve yet to hear a good reason why this change had to be made or what was stopping them from including it.
#“But less Don Krieg!” look I get it Krieg was a bleh villain and I understand why they cut his fight out bc budget and time#But more focus on Mihawk vs Zoro means less without Sanji’s development you don’t even need to keep the Krieg fight for Sanji to watch it#Your dislike for Krieg should not blind you to the fact Sanji got needlessly sidelined in his own intro arc so no OPLA Baratie ain’t better#Sanji#Blackleg Sanji#black leg Sanji#sanji one piece#one piece sanji#sanji op#op sanji#One piece#OPLA critical#I guess but pls I don’t hate OPLA just have a few criticisms and its stans are annoyingly defensive#baratie arc

I have managed to save $3.5k in two months and I don't wanna know how I managed that because I feel like a closer look at my finances will in fact reveal that my dad and sister were right and the constant influx of books was actually the problem, and that is a reality I don't want to be a part of. I simply do not perceive
#spending problems? no no#book buying is not filed under spending in my budget#it goes right into 'investing'#no but I really am not ready to admit that books were costing me so much#not to myself and certaintly not to my relatives#they would never let it go and I would block the knowledge out like a flat earther scrolling through NASA's gallery#mine eyes... they are blind... I cannot see these things

attempting to claw my brain out of The Rottening by allowing myself to spend money on things that will improve my household life even though I've been reluctant to commit to them
#a drill for projects around the house because I've either been borrowing a friend's or just not doing those projects#a large external drive for the desktop computer because eventually i do want to upgrade that computer and i need backups#also i have just been solving problems by dumping stuff into cloud storage and that's really not sustainable#and a wireless keyboard + mouse because my computer is set up as the living room TV and having the controls tethered is uh inconvenient#it's not even stuff that's hard for me to afford!#i just get weird about dipping outside my weekly budget#and none of these things can be easily purchased within that budget#anyway. very excited to go home and try out this drill#i also bought a new shade for the bathroom#because i don't like having vinyl blinds that have broken slats as a privacy shield#like. my neighbor's house is Right There#and it's not a very big broken area but i am constantly aware of it#so it would be nice to just. fix it.
