Hello friends, there's a dogwhistle I've seen used a couple times on tumblr that I want to discuss.
Fellow neurodivergents especially, please listen-- towards the end of this post I describe how some in our community have been using it without knowing what it means.
A fairly common antisemitic dogwhistle used amongst alt-right circles on the internet is being a "noticer," "noticing patterns," "pattern noticer," etc. I've seen this from a couple Tumblr blogs I follow reblogging memes and such that use this term but don't provide any context about what sorts of "things" they may be noticing.
Here's the meme that I saw a blog I'm following reblog last night.
Seems pretty harmless, right? It's a meme with a cute cat.
In alt-right circles, what they are referring to "noticing" is the conspiracy theory that Jews control the world/"noticing" evidence of an imagined globalist (read: Jewish) world order/etc. If you see a meme that uses terms like "noticing patterns" that doesn't elaborate what those supposed patterns are-- just leaves you to fill in the blank yourself-- take a look at the types of things OP might be posting. The alt-right has an idea that it's forbidden to talk about who might be behind the "conspiracies" they talk about (again, the target is frequently Jewish people) so lack of context is often a red flag.
I sent the blog who reblogged this an ask informing them that the meme was a dogwhistle. If you see someone reblog something like this, check what they've been posting. If this seems like an isolated incident, the person probably reblogged it not knowing what the term actually meant. That's why dogwhistles are so effective-- to the average person they look harmless if you don't know what to watch out for!
Let's take a look at how alt-righters use this term.
Here's an alt-right definition of it from Urban Dictionary.
Oh boy, this one gets a bigotry bingo for all the dogwhistles used here. If I miss any, feel free to comment. Here are the ones I found:
-Noseticing: Noticing plus nose, based on the stereotype for Jewish people to have large noses.
-"those who cannot be named"/skirting around saying Jew: again the idea that it's forbidden to talk about who they think is behind their conspiracy theories.
-"world events and agendas": idea that Jewish people have a Globalist agenda etc etc
-Degeneracy: Nazi term to describe the behaviors/people they find undesirable.
-Early life: refers to the section in a person's Wikipedia page. If a person was brought up Jewish, it'll usually say so there.
-Oy vey: a Jewish exclamation of exasperation that Nazis have unfortunately co-opted when talking about Jewish people.
Here's probably the most obviously antisemitic meme I found.
The title and first bullet point include the "noticer" term. This meme also talks about a "group" who controls wealth. Who might the poster be referring to here?
Here's a Twitter account with many similar alt-right terms. Explicitly identifies as a Nazi and ethno-nationalist, etc etc.
A couple other pages. I clicked on them to see if I could find any more examples but the first seemed pretty blank and the second... Well, I don't have a twitter so I couldn't view.
Let's unpack these a little. The first one has "13 outta 52," a statistic used among white supremacists to depict Black people (especially African-Americans) as "savage": 13 referring to the percentage of America that is Black and 52 referring to the alleged percentage of murders in the U.S. that are committed by Black people. "109 countries" refers to the idea that Jewish people have been expelled from 109 countries during history. (Which isn't entirely true. Some "countries" in this count are actually cities, regions, etc.) Some white supremacists may use the number 110 instead to suggest that it should happen again.
The second one has a blurb alleging a global sterilization effort and concerns of fertility. This is likely in connection to pro-natalism for white people. If Nazis want a so-called "Aryan nation," they're going to want white people to populate it, and so they encourage white people to have babies for their cause. Nazi Germany employed this tactic as well, even awarding "Aryan" German women who had four or more children for their contributions to the Nazi cause.
The reason why I'm emphasizing that context matters is that some neurodivergent people have seen this and co-opted it into neurodivergent circles. As a person who is Jewish and autistic, this is pretty alarming to me. I'll show a couple examples from Tumblr:
And
I've left out the URLs of the OPs because I want to give the benefit of the doubt-- they both explicitly refer to being a "pattern noticer" in terms of neurodivergence. And it's easy to see why introducing this term to ND folks would be an easy way to get a dogwhistle passed off as harmless! Since autistic people often have analytical minds, we often make connections that others might not be able to see. But unfortunately, using terms like this only makes it much easier for antisemites to fly under the radar.
Stay safe and let's keep Tumblr free of this shit.

I don't know why, but I sort of just imagined Aichi floating in an infinite void (no pun intended), blankly questioning the meaning of the universe, and I thought it'd be a funny one to suggest. If you do it, thank you! You've been making such cute pictures, and they're so fun to see!
LMAOOO THE IDEA IS SO RELATABLE
Aww thanku :((

There has been something bugging me since I watched the Inazuma Eleven GO and Danball Senki W crossover movie:
The fact that Kinako Nanobana makes an appearance.
No, I do not think that her involvement in the movie makes it bad or anything. She was one of the most helpful characters, trying to be a peacemaker for her friends.
The problem I have is more tied to the ACTUAL lore of the story, mainly the CS storyline. Why did she appear again after going back to her time? Why isnt anyone confused, despite no one in the stadium except a select few (Raimon, Shinsei Inazuma Japan, and possibly Inazuma Legend Japan as well) knew who she is? Speaking of which, spoiler warning for Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stone and Inazuma Eleven GO v.s. Danball Senki W, as well as a few other Inazuma Eleven movies.
Kinako Nanobana was first introduced in episode 18. At first, no one knew who she is except the other members of Raimon who were affected by the Time Paradox.
It was later revealed that her purpose of suddenly being in the Raimon team was to aid them in their journey stopping El Dorado from erasing soccer, and then help defeating Feida, preventing them from taking over the world.
The whole Chrono Stone story was caused by the war between Feida and El Dorado; a war that happened 200 years after the events of Inazuma Eleven GO. It was, however, foreshadowed by the movie Inazuma Eleven GO: Ky奴kyoku no Kizuna Gryphon. At the end of the movie, Sengujji Daigo and Ishido Shuuji were talking about the possibility of Second Stage Children already existing. Ishido Shuuji also wore the Time Bracelet; a device given by Supporter X to him and Yuuichi, which prevents him from being affected by the Time Paradox.
Consideing that Fei was around the age of the Feida kids and the members of Raimon, then he should be 13-15 years old at the events of CS. Kinako seemed to be around her twenties when she gave birth to Fei, making her Fei's age 20-30 years before.
Being a teen around 20-30 years before Fei, still makes her timeline WAY to far from the Ina GO Raimon kids. Not to mention that she appears the same age as when they first met her.
Then why did she appear in the movie? Did everyone manage to still have contact after CS ended? Was there somehow a way for her to travel back in time, despite not being from 200 years away?
There are a lot of reasons of why she chose to appear, but I will only include 2 on this post.
Theory 1: Asurei Fei Left Kinako a Time Travelling Device
Back in CS, we were given a scene where Kinako and Asurei first met. Asurei told her that he needed Kinako's help to look over Fei. We DIDN'T however, see any scene of them causing any Time Paradoxes or travelling to GO Raimon's time.
Since we have the whole 'we didn't get to see Kinako and Asurei time travel' thing, how they travelled and created a Time Paradox is up to our interpretation.
One of the ways they could have done it is by finding the timeline that the 5 Raimon kids who were not affected by Beta's mind control would jump to. We weren't really told how Time Paradoxes could be made (other than meddling with the timeline directly.)
Maybe Asurei gave the responsibility of changing the timeline to Kinako. Asurei's plan was to look over Fei; and by doing so have to help Feida as Supporter X. Maybe this plan REALLY requires him to stay away from his family, or it might spark some suspicion from Feida. So he either helped create the Time Paradox for Kinako or just sent Kinako to go to the past to change the timeline as she wants.
Theory 2: This Was All Caused By the Imbalance From Fran's Destruction
A lot of sci-fi stories regarding time travelling or some sort of mass destruction in the timeline leads to the most major changes. So according to that, Fran's mission of erasing of the universe might have been the reason the timeline changed and put Kinako in Ina GO's time.
We all know how powerful Fran is; being able to travel to where and whenever in the universe, as well as remove and return anything she desires, as long as its in a natural state (for example: trees and grass in a barren field).
That being said, she didn't seem to delete everything AT ONCE. But we know that the universe likes balance, such as the instance where the false timeline Tsurugi Yuuichi and Endou Daisuke returns back to their original states after the Ina GO timeline goes back to normal. It seems that whatever Fran deletes, it opens to more possibilities in said universe; even so that it can open up to different ones. it would be a while before she can remove "violence" completely.
Speaking of the opening of any possibilities that can appear, Fran's deletion in process might have sent Kinako to live in Ina GO's time. Maybe even make her actually stay. But it will still contradict the fact that Fei seemingly still came from the future. So a more rational explanation is that Kinako might have resided for a while before going back to her timeline. Making her live and get known by people, before leaving again.

Update on this post:
Apparently Ina GO do have smartphones! Seems like its older models though. Perhaps a 2013-ish model. It still is funny seeing them trying out some gadgets that the "younger generation" are using.
I think everyone notices about the phones in the Inazuma Eleven series not really matching up with the timeline.
Despite Ina GO taking place around 2018 and Ina Ares/Ina Orion being around 1 year after the events of Endou's adventures, I just like to think that Ares/Orion takes place at 2018 instead (the year of Ares' series release) and that Ina 11/GO is from a universe where the technology of phones isn't a big ordeal.

Ina Orion Werewolf Teams: Brief Introduction to the Teams
I saw a post a long time ago pointing out that Kazemaru's and Fubuki's werewolf forms have matching different colored brooches.
Their brooches and costumes also have different designs as well.
And each faction/role has a similarity, which is that there are 2 characters for each role in the game (except the farmers).
The pairs from each faction also have 2 main colors that divide them: blue and green. It seems that each pair are counterparts to each other.
So I decided to sort them out into 2 groups out of boredom. I will call them the green and blue team. Because I am too lazy to name them.
Note that not all roles have the green and blue theme; some of them use red instead. But since each role has a counterpart, we can tell which team they are on by looking at the other character.
Because tumblr apparently only allows a maximum of 10 pics per post, here are the links to my other posts about this topic:

Ina Orion Werewolf Teams: Green Team
For each character, I will write the main characteristic that makes them go into this team. The explanations who and of why they are in each team is written in the image description. but since I'm not sure how it works, I will write them under each image as well.
Here are the members of the green team:
(Inamori Asuto, green-colored brooch.)
(Gouenji Shuuya, counterpart to the blue hunter.)
(Kidou Yuuto, green brooches and teal glass ball. in case you are wondering, teal is closer to green than blue.)
(Endou Mamoru, green bandana on hat and as scarf.)
(Saginuma Osamu, green-colored shawl-thing.)
(Kazemaru Ichirouta, green-colored brooch.)
(Nishikage Seiya, green earring and charm.)
(Mansaku Yuuichirou, green-colored belt and pants.)

Ina Orion Werewolf Teams: Unknown Team
The ones listed here are the ones with ambiguous teams. I was unable to sort them into either the green team or the blue team.
Here are the members whose teams are unknown:
(Kira Hiroto, unknown accent color.)
(Fudou Akio, unknown accent color.)
(Sakanoue Noboru, no specific color nor any counterpart.)
Even if I put them into teams, the reasons would be more subjective and speculative, so I decided to make another whole category for them. Feel free to tell me your thoughts though.

Ina Orion Werewolf Teams: How the Werewolf Game Works
In case you didn't know what or how the werewolf game works, I will explain on the original game, then on how the Inazuma Eleven version (probably) works.
The werewolf game is a game where players team up to figure out who is the werewolf before they kill the others/civilians. If the werewolf manages to kill everyone in the game, they win. If the others figure out who the werewolf is, the civilians win.
The game starts with the game moderator giving everyone a role in secret. Each and everyone will get a role and will only know what their role is. The game alter between day and night. Each night, the werewolf decides who to kill. In the morning, the civilians discuss who could be the werewolf, and banishes the one they agree upon.
Of course, the game has many versions and additions, such as added roles to the game, or perhaps limited turns/tries. For example, one version of the game has 3 roles; the detective, the townspeople, and the werewolf. In this game, we can skip on voting on a person 3 times max, and the werewolf may skip killing the civilians 2 times max. The detective is the only one able to ask the identity of 1 player each round, and the werewolf is allowed to lie.
Now for the werewolf game for Ina Orion, there are a total of 8 roles, divided into 2 teams. Kind of like the 2 team practice they do by dividing the team members into 2 different groups. And just like with each group they integrate specific players into teams, the 2 groups in this werewolf game have each of the 8 roles in their roster.
The Werewolf
The Werewolf appears in every game as the main antagonist (of course). Their goal is to kill the other people participating in the game.
For this round of the game, The Werewolves are Asuto and Mitsuru.
The Hunter
The Hunter seems to be a part of the protagonist team, protecting the others. Their goal is to kill/banish the werewolf from the game.
For this round of the game, the Hunters are Gouenji and Haizaki.
The Seer
The Seer's task is to help figure out who is the werewolf. In this game it seems that they know at least an info about the others, perhaps by the night they are given some, or at the start of the game the moderator gives a clue to help them.
For this round of the game, The Seers are Nosaka and Kidou.
The Gunsman
The Gunsman has the same task as the hunter, which is to abolish the werewolf and protect the others. Perhaps they work with the hunters, or maybe they don't and compete with them.
For this round of the game, The Gunsmen are Endou and Goujin.
The Joker
The jokers are the ones with unclear motivations or goals. It seems that they do whatever they want to; helping to keep the others safe and providing information, or helping the werewolves by obscuring their identity. Either way, finding the right joker would be a tide-turner.
For this round of the game, the jokers are Hiroto and Fudou.
The Psychic
Psychics are people who are known to be able to perceive information using senses that other people can't. In this case, the psychics are the ones able to communicate with spirits, as we can see that the cards of the psychics has an emblem with a wisp on it. Each psychic also has a burning candle with 2 wisps, indicating that they use the burning candle as a medium to talk with the spirits.
For this round of the game, The Psychics are Saginuma and Hiura.
The Fox Spirit
This role appears to take inspiration to the fox spirits from East-Asian folklore. The fox spirits are mischievous shape-shifters, often playing tricks on humans. They can be both good and bad, living amongst people peacefully at best and devouring other's body and spirit at worst. Similar to The Jokers, they have no inclination towards the protagonist nor antagonist side.
For this round of the game, The Fox Spirits are Kazemaru and Fubuki.
The Cat Spirit
Same as The Fox Spirits, this role seems to take inspiration from East-Asian folklore, specifically Japanese folklore. There are actually 2 types of cat yokai; but since The Cat Spirits here are depicted with 1 tail, we will assume the main inspiration for this role comes from the Bakaneko. And much the same as The Fox Spirits, they have shapeshifting abilities, and can either be good or bad, depending on their origin.
For this round of the game, The Cat Spirits are Kiyama and Nishikage.
The Farmer
The Farmer is one of the most classic role other than the werewolf. The Farmers are the other members of the protagonist team, trying to figure out who The Werewolf is and banish them. But, they are also the most vulnerable role of them all, acting only as the decision makers for The Werewolves execution. Nevertheless, they are still one of the most crucial role in the game, as the others' goal is to either harm or keep them safe.
For this round of the game, The Farmers are Mansaku, Iwato and Sakanoue.
How the Ina Orion game (probably) works
With these many roles, each character has a special ability. And since this is a turn-based game, each roles might have an opportunity to use their ability for each turn.
For most of the werewolf games, the players use their skill at night. the werewolf picks a person to kill, the seer gets to ask a question, etc.
With each role description in mind, we can deduce how they would work in the game. The Werewolf can kill a player each night. The Hunter and Gunsman can either pick someone to protect or hunt. The Joker may answer a question when thrown at them by The Seer, same as the others. The Fox or Cat Spirits may play a prank or give some sort of boost at the others, perhaps making them have double turns or taking their turn for that night. The Psychic can contact a dead participant to help gain intel. And by the morning, they discuss on who could be The Werewolf.
Or, this game could be about taking down the other team, considering that they were divided with different colored accessories. The Green Team taking down the Blue Team's werewolf and vice versa.
If you want to know more about the teams, here are the links:

TBH Endou isn't violent in Ares/Orion, the incorrect quotes are being too OOC for him. Endou is indeed different in Ares/Orion, but it's in the sense that he's no longer MC and doesn't take charge in fighting against evildoers misusing soccer. I don't like that the Orion writers don't really make him react to the unfair soccer in Orion but hey.
IKR. THEY MADE HIM SO. ??? i was relieved when endou aint as scary as those incorrect quotes made him look.
Still havent finished orion tho, but yeah, they made him too passive to feel like og Endou.
