Halloween SOA Day 23: Ghostface
Tumblr media
No plot, just smut below. Minors DNI as usual
“Your package is here” called Juice with a smirk and laugh as he tossed a box to Chibs. “Don’t start boy” replied Chibs sternly as he caught the box. “I’m not” replied Juice as he held his hands up innocently. “Just saying when you tell me you’re having weird role paly stuff sent to my house cause you’re an ancient relic with a 20 something girlfriend….. I get to have a little fun” he replied as he dodged away as Chibs tried to hit him. “Is that jealousy I hear Juicy Boy? Old man is tapping what the young buck swung out and missed on? Replied Chibs with a laugh as Juice rolled his eyes and flipped him off. “Don’t have a heart attack tonight “called Juice as Chibs got his bike to head home.
*
“Hello Love” called Chibs as he walked into the kitchen where you were cooking. “Hey babe! Dinners almost done” you replied turning to him as you finished stirring the soup on the stove. “Smells good. I’m going to clean up real quick” he replied before heading off down the hall. A few minutes later you were turning the stove off when you heard Chibs urgently call your name.
“Chibs?” you called as you pushed your bedroom door open confused at the emptiness. Before you could turn around you were pulled back against a hard body causing you to scream before you felt the cold metal of a knife at your throat. Adrenaline coursed through you as you stood locked in place. “Shh Love. I won’t hurt ya. Do as I say and you will be fine” murmured a voice you barely recognized as your old mans in your ear. The grip on you loosened as you were turned to face him. Your eyes fell on the ghostface mask and you felt heat course through you. “Strip” ordered Chibs as he trailed the knife from your throat down your chest and stomach causing you to shiver. Your hands shook with anticipation as you ripped your clothes off.
Several minutes later you were on your knees, hands tied behind your back with his belt. Chibs was roughly thrusting into your mouth as he gripped your hair in one hand forcing you to look up at his masked face. The fabric of the black robe he wore billowed around you with each snap of his hips as he slid himself further down your throat. He loved how your makeup ran down your face as tears poured from your shining eyes, your gorgeous lips puffy and wrapped around his cock as you sucked the soul out of him. You squirmed and whined as you watched him tilt his head back as he moaned as he continued his assault on your mouth. Trying to get Chibs attention that you needed him between your thighs you gently bit down. You let out a yelp at the sharp sting to your cheek from his slap. “Lassie” he warned as he stilled inside your mouth. He had both hands on the back of your head pulling you onto his thick length as he watched you struggle to breathe around him. When your vision started to tunnel he pulled out.
You gasped trying to suck air into your starved lungs before you felt his roughed grip on your arms as he yanked you up and pushed your top half roughly onto the bed. You stilled and let out a little moan as you felt the cold metal of the knife slide slowly through your slick folds. “So wet for me Lassie” purred Chibs as he tossed the knife to the side and slid two fingers into you making you jump. “Chibs” you moaned as you pushed back on him to get more friction. “So eager to be fucked by a killer.” Chuckled Chibs as he brought his other palm down onto your ass making you jump and clench around his fingers. Chibs pulled his fingers from you causing you to pout at the loss of sensation. “Please” you begged as you tried to wiggle back but were stilled by another smack to your ass. “Is this what you want?” teased Chibs as he slid his tip through your wet folds before pulling away. “Yes” you replied eagerly as you tried to stay still. “Yes what?” asked Chibs. “Yes daddy. Please fuck me” you replied knowing what he wanted. Without hesitation Chibs thrusted into you all at once as he gripped your hips hard enough to bruise. “Chibs “you moaned as he thrusted into you at a relentless pace, burying himself deeper and deeper into you with every thrust. You were an incoherent mess as your eyes rolled back as he hit that sweet spot over and over bringing you to the edge. “Come now” ordered Chibs as he felt you start to clench around him tighter as he delivered another sharp stinging slap to your ass. You screamed through your release as you gushed around him, Chibs kept his pace up for another moment before he came deep inside of you. After a moment of catching your breaths Chibs slipped his mask off, leaning down to kiss the small of your back before undoing his belt. “Good girl” he murmured as he rubbed your stiff arms and pulled out of you. “Clean her up when ya done” you heard Chibs state before you felt yourself get turned over on the bed. “Have fun Lassie” called Chibs before leaving the room as another Ghostface climbed on top of you.

I just finished watching episode 8x04 and…
… I basically just ran to get my laptop and start writing my thoughts down, because OMG!!! SO MANY THOUGHT RIGHT NOW!!!!! 🤯
These thoughts might all be jumbled up, because I’m still flailing here. This might not make any sense. Sorry for that. 🫣
My first thought is this:
This was such a great episode. Classic 911 in so many ways. I love all of it… well, almost all of it. Let’s start with the only thing in this episode that I didn’t really care for.
That opening scene was crazy. Straight into the golf scene. I mean, we had so many theories there and it turned out it was just about Gerrard wanting Buck to choose people to fire. So unserious. I love how our theories mostly end up being wrong like this. At least we had fun theorising. 😂
It’s obvious they tweaked Gerrard’s character in the season 8 arc. He was still a terrible and selfish man, but they cut down on the racist language and most of the bigotry. They made him laughable and a bad captain, but I admit that I don’t like the way they handled his character in the end.
They redeemed him by making him the hero of the episode and giving him a happy ending. And while I understand the reasoning behind this, I still feel that more could have been done to hold him accountable for the things he did in the past.
The way he treated Hen and Chim in the past is not okay and I feel that this was swept under the rug. But they clearly wanted his character to be a bit more like a comic villain this time around, so I’ll make my peace with it. But I wish they would have handled it differently.
This also leads me to believe that the BT break up won’t revolve around Tommy’s past behaviour, but it will be focused more on the fact that Buck and Tommy just aren’t right for each other.
That brings me to all the things I did like or even loved.
I cried so hard while seeing that first courtroom scene with henren. It just broke my heart.😩 Hen pleading to the judge to get Mara back was so heartfelt. I also loved Hen’s scene with Ortiz. That actress was so good in her role. I just wanted to reach into my screen and shake her.
Gerrard recording her with the body-cam was soooo predictable. The moment he started talking to Ortiz with his body-cam in plain sight? It was very obvious what was going on.
That last scene when Mara came back home? I bawled my eyes out. So good. I’m glad we didn’t get any conflict between Henren and Madney. I was a little afraid of that, but it turned out so great for all of them. YAY! Our girl is finally where she belongs!🤗
I loved how everyone showed up at Bobby’s to talk about their problems. And YAY he acknowledged the moustache!
I did find it odd for Athena to suggest to Bobby to rebuilt the old home. I mean, if you get the chance to build a new house, why would you go for a replica of the old one you built with your ex-husband. Yikes. She should have thought this through better. I’m glad that Bobby spoke up and told her the truth. I’m excited to see their new home!
I loved the medical emergencies in this one. The tiger was insane! When Chimney was hanging in front of the window and that tiger suddenly appeared? I had to pause the video for a moment. It was such a jumpscare. And once again Buck and Eddie were attached to the hip during that emergency.
Which brings me to the part I’m most excited about:
The Eddie storyline. MY MIND IS BLOWN! I kid you not, I screamed when Eddie was talking to the cheerleader’s father. The man didn’t want to see his son because he was a cheerleader??? I love how Eddie reached in and told him that it didn’t matter who his son was, he would always be his son.
I loved how we got to see Eddie missing Christopher and how it hurts to be without him.
There is an obvious link between that boy and his father and how Eddie was raised. The toxic masculinity surrounding all of it. How Eddie was raised to be the man of the house and how unhealthy that childhood was.
This is it! This is the kick-off of Eddie’s storyline. This is where he will start to question all he’s ever known in life. He will take a step back and start rethinking the choices he made and how he was always lead by the thought of him needing to be a real man’s man. Listen, this storyline? Dare I say it?
Yeah, I do. This is the kick-off of Eddie’s queer storyline. At this point, if it turns out to be anything else than that? I would be shocked. This is the only outcome that makes sense right now. We were right. We were right all along. Feels kinda nice, doesn’t it? 😋
Also… listen, I think I drooled a little when competent Eddie appeared in the back of that ambulance. That was sooooo hot. I don’t mind them showing off Eddie’s goofy side, but once in a while, when the show travels down the ‘competent Eddie’ road, showing us quite how clever he is and what he can do? Yeah… I’m not complaining at all!
I haven’t seen the 8x05 promo yet. I’ll try to look for it later to see if they showed us anything interesting for next week’s episode.
All in all, what a great episode! They tied up all the loose ends, except for Eddie's storyline. His storyline is only beginning. 😏
I’m sure I forgot to talk about so many other things, but I’m not thinking very coherently right now. I just love this show so much!
Okay, I have a ton of asks in my ask box, so I'm going to read the all and respond to some. Excited to find you what you guys thought of this episode.

Okay, I admit defeat, I cannot keep myself from writing a little something based on this post from @howdoyousleep3
You gotta read the original post, but, essentially... trust fund baby Buck hiring a Daddy because he wants to be taken care of 🥺
For visuals:
This Bucky
Tumblr media Tumblr media
gifs by @/fucklinski
With this Steve
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something about this AU just gives me sweater-wearing Daddy, okay?
Aaaand this got out of hand (as every "short" drabble I try to write does) so:
Warning for hurt/comfort, slight homophobia, drugs/alcohol use (drugs are all in the background though), explicit sexual content, semi-public play, daddy kink, fisting 👀, dirty talk, feminization, breath play, etc., etc.
Anyway, this is like fucking 5k words oops...
Hey, Alexa? Play “Life Of The Party” by The Weeknd then "National Anthem" by Lana Del Ray
Trust fund baby Buck spends all of his time at clubs, parties, events, and any sort of socializing event that is required for someone of his status--of his family's status.
All in all, though, he genuinely loves people. He loves the over-the-top parties, he enjoys the decadence of expensive drinks--most of them alcoholic ever since the second he turned 18 (because it's the European thing to do)--and he flourishes in these spaces. The attention. The social butterfly-ness of it all
…Usually.
Usually he loves it all.
Yet, as he’s grown into his own adult person a little more he’s begun to realize one thing; it’s not as lovely and shiny as it used to feel.
Bucky knows, in part, it’s because he’s simply not a child any longer.
But he also knows it’s because he’s gay. And because he’s lonely. Yes, he’s lonely in part because he’s gay and old money leans more… well, it isn’t called the Grand Old Party for no reason, so, yeah, he’s a little lonely because even within the group of trust fund babies his age, they’re lagging behind pop culture. They’re not, like, spitting on him or swearing at him out of homophobia. And good ol’ pops isn’t disowning him or denying him of their fortune, but… no one has ever asked him if he’s seen any cute boys. No one asked him--when he came out--if he’d even kissed a boy yet. No one asked him about his crushes. No one suggests, oh, look at that dashing (equally rich and) young man, you should go talk to him--you could marry him! Bucky gets nothing of the sort. His sexuality is ignored. The best he got upon coming out was a tight-lipped smile and a nod.
More and more Bucky yearns for community.
Also, Bucky’s lonely because he can’t exactly see a future here. How’s he supposed to find a partner like he wants if everyone is lowkey(?) homophobic?
Also ×2, he’s lonely despite the excess of this lifestyle because… he’s probably always been lonely. Not to blame his parents for all of his problems, but, when your parents are too rich, too busy, and too good to raise their own child--always handing them off to the help with a poorly disguised face of disgust for a child that is simply crying and drooly and snotty because, well, it’s a child--that does something to said child.
No matter how lovely the help is, no matter how bonded he felt to the help, they cannot replace parents you can’t reach. And parents you can’t ever reach, you can't impress, and you can't please since they’ve had everything they could wish for from the time they were young is also problematic for a growing human. At least Bucky was always good at socializing. That (sometimes) seems to please his parents. And it's been very beneficial to Bucky over the years.
Ever since Bucky was able to talk, he’s bounced around any event he was taken to, conversing with everyone and, without even meaning to, ending up with a string of girls behind him. His mother says it’s his smile and his eyes--what girls won’t do for a boy with blue eyes and dimples! His father says it’s his conversation and thanks himself for it, patting Bucky on the shoulder as he roughly and proudly guffaws, “just like his father! Can talk his way out of anything! Could sell a breathing man air!”
Any interest in the people he strung along, without meaning to, faded fast. Every time.
So, he’s lonely.
He's craving companionship.
And since Bucky came out when he was 17, he has been looking for a partner. He’s gotten lucky here and there with hook-ups (most fueled by too much champagne, some drugs he'd rather not admit to having taken, or charged by the fact they were sneaking away to do it somewhere they DEFINITELY weren't supposed to), one-off dates (all his dates comprised of people he met at galas or whatever and always the same social class, never lower), and even a couple handful of months-long relationships (done mostly for show even if Bucky did like them… he really wanted to show everyone he was capable of settling down!).
But by this point, this many tries deep, none of them have been The One and, hell, none of them have even been that good.
Bucky's just tired of prancing around searching blindly for what he wants when he damn well knows what he wants--what he wishes for, eyes shut, sliding down the inside of the door to his brownstone, sighing, day-dreaming and what he craves when he curls up in his massive bed, alone, surrounded by an ocean of sheets with too many pillow islands, eyes shut, beginning to breathe heavily, waking up certain parts of himself… hands wandering down his own body… night-dreaming 👀
He knows what he wants. It's so hard to find though.
And he’s about to throw in the towel (yes, he’s aware he’s still in his early- to mid-20s, and yes, he’s that dramatic) when…
He goes to a bar after another event.
He just needs to be around “normal” people, feeling especially tired that night of lofty, wealthy people. (He’s also a little sick of himself since he knows he isn’t always that much better when it comes down to it)
And at this bar, he sees Steve--he sees this man at the other end of the bar. The man is larger than life, sitting on a bar stool at the counter, the other end of the bar from where Bucky sits, with broad shoulders swathed in a thick, dark sweater and big hands wrapped around a glass. As he lifts the glass to drink, he chats with the bartender.
This stranger is older with handsome crow's feet at the corners of his eyes and grays beginning to come into his beard as well as spreading back through his hair from his temples.
The man laughs at something the bartender says after swallowing, big and loud and full of obvious enjoyment. It sounds good.
Bucky almost wants to shoo the bartender back over to the mystery man when she comes to refill his sugary cocktail later. He would much rather she make him laugh again.
But, instead…
Bucky buys him a drink, tipping her exorbitantly yet again to make sure it’s the best he can get. Bucky would buy the handsome stranger what he’s having already but doesn’t recognize what’s in his glass, nor that particular type of glass, and he’s feeling more creative than just asking her so he just bluntly asks--
“What’s the most expensive drink you have?” The bartender looks at him funny but tells him regardless. “I’ll get that then," he doesn't even wait for her to say how much it costs, "just not for me--” Bucky tips his head in the mystery man’s direction “--give it to him.”
She does as he asks, sliding the glass across the table to the other man and saying something he doesn’t catch but she looks over to him after. The bartender and Bucky make eye contact again.
Bucky looks away, from her and the man. He's unable to watch the older man refuse it. Bucky doesn't even know if he's gay. He doesn't know why he did it… he just…
Bucky hopes it’s good alcohol. Not to be a picky brat but… his cocktail isn’t very good even with the alcohol hidden behind juice and lots of sugar, so he can’t imagine most of their drinks must be good. It’s just a little neighborhood, almost a dive bar anyway. The more expensive, the smoother the liquor. He knows as such. High-quality champagne goes down like candy.
He hopes this guy appreciates the smoother taste. (If the guy doesn't come over and punch him for being gay.)
Bucky swallows another mouthful of his unsatisfactory cocktail. He barely has it down when the guy approaches him. He has scooped up the new drink in one of those big hands. He must've finished or abandoned his other. And--
He’s smiling as he approaches, apparently as easy-going as he looks in that thick sweater and worn baseball cap.
Handsome and easy-to-please sits down next to him. Playfully mentioning that it looks like things should be the other way around, he should be buying something for Bucky--if Bucky is even old enough to drink? How’d he get in here anyway? It's not the glitzy, flashing-light nightclub he'd expect for a young person.
Bucky internally sighs, if only this was the most debauched place he’s been… but, externally, Bucky tells him, of course, I'm old enough. I've just always had a baby face.
Well, then, even if you're old enough, I'm still right! He grins. Steve--he gives Bucky his name finally--should be buying him a drink instead! Not that it’s hurt Steve’s pride or anything, he just is pretty sure Bucky’s got more important things to spend his money on than buying strangers drinks, like, student loans, partying with kids his age, or actually starting a savings account.
Bucky laughs, harder than he means to, at the examples. He feels lost tonight. The laughter means he ends up having to explain himself, who he is--rather who his father is and who his grandfather was. He doesn’t need another savings account, he already has too many. He bites his tongue before saying he has too much money, which is true but… he's never said that out loud before.
What is going on with him tonight?! He's not even drunk or high!
Steve, however, is obviously taken aback, blue eyes widening. But he tries to hide it. It’s sweet. He continues to treat him like a regular person after he admits it.
It feels real.
Bucky feels like it's not a big deal. Steve even shrugged! If only it was real… not just one night. One moment.
Except…
They talk for a long time.
Bucky buys Steve more drinks. Bucky assumes Steve’s going to take him home or at least back to the bathroom. He wants it. Steve looks like he'd be good at holding and grabbing and fucking. Bucky wants all of that. Steve doesn’t ask though.
And when Bucky asks--would you like to get out of here? Steve cocks his head and says, “we’re drinking.” his eyes also say, I'm so much older than you, are you sure? Am I sure?, but he doesn't voice it.
“Yeah? So?”
“I’d rather not be a drunk hookup.”
“I wouldn’t have to be drunk to hookup with you.”
“You’re sweet,” he says as if Bucky has given him a genuine compliment rather than telling him he’s fuckable, “but still, you’re tipsy. I’m tipsy, so…” He shrugs like that explanation is enough.
Bewildered Bucky asks, “really?”
“As much as I want to take you up on the offer, yeah. We're not really in any state to decide to do that. I don’t think I am at least.”
Huh.
Bucky’s never encountered someone so… responsible? Bucky doesn’t actually know if he's being responsible, but it feels that way. But… okay, sure, not how he thought his night would go, although that's been his entire night, so he might as well keep the punches rolling.
They talk more.
They talk about everything.
And, suddenly, the bar is getting ready to close! Bucky doesn't know where the time has gone. All he knows is that he unthinkingly pays Steve’s tab plus his own. Steve blushes a little in the low bar lighting. And he ends up cracking a few more unserious jokes about role reversal. Their ages. Their income. Their savings. Their lives. The way this should be the other way around if anything.
His jokes give Bucky some ideas…
Ideas that come out of his mouth rather than staying inside his mind because Bucky is only now actually tipsy (he may be young but good, expensive alcohol since he turned 18 will give anyone a high tolerance… especially someone who indulges as often as Bucky does).
Steve might be drunk or humoring him massively because he agrees (with some convincing (less convincing than Bucky expected though)) that they could try that. If Bucky is serious. But not while they're drunk. Again, not while they're drunk.
They exchange phone numbers instead.
Bucky calls his driver to pick him up--he could pay the ticket for driving himself home, no problem, but he's not that much of an ass (or that dumb). He also offers Steve a ride but, apparently, this bar isn’t too far from the place he calls home. And he wants to walk home. Sober up some. Breathe some fresh air so he doesn’t have quite the hangover when he wakes up. Right, hangovers. Another difference in age. Bucky doesn't really get those yet despite how much he drinks.
Anyway, Steve promises to text Bucky later. When he gets home and then even later, about that idea.
I made iit bacj
Bucky recalls the encounter in the morning, waking up with the stale taste of cheap alcohol in his mouth and a single text in his phone. But, he doesn’t know if Steve remembers, beyond that misspelled, drunk text. So he waits.
And waits.
And waits…
Steve does not text him.
Steve does not text him for the entire day after their encounter. And you can call Bucky a spoiled brat who has never had to wait for a goddamn thing in his life, but that wouldn't stop Bucky from being a little upset and impatient. He felt something with Steve! Or he thought he did and--
He wants to believe, desperately, that Steve felt it to.
So, Bucky texts Steve first. He waits a day and a half before caving.
Steve responds: Honestly, I didn’t text you because I couldn’t convince myself that I didn’t dream up last night. Plus, if I didn’t dream it, I hadn’t yet convinced myself that you were serious. Sorry to leave you wondering.
He might just be charming Bucky, calling him a dream, to get at the money that he offered him--Bucky’s had plenty of people do that, use him, trying to get at his wealth, but… he doesn’t care. Let Steve use him for the money if that’s all this is going to be. Steve was just so warm. And Bucky wants more of it. He was freezing. He is freezing, maybe even more so now that he's felt just how good that warmth is.
So…
Over the coming weeks, they text back and forth, explaining themselves, getting to know each other, then arranging a time and place to meet to discuss an actual arrangement.
Companionship for money.
Bucky was serious. He's more serious now. He doesn't want Steve to fade away, he likes him too much, but what else can Bucky offer him than money? Steve seems happy. He's old enough he has his own life with a job and purpose. Not like Bucky.
So, Steve will provide the companionship and Bucky will provide the money.
It takes a while to meet up again, after the bar, because everywhere Bucky suggests they get together, private places, are all places Steve can’t get into (country clubs, lavish nightclubs) or hasn’t ever been to (expensive hotels, secretive businesses off the commonly walked path, whatever). Steve asks, eventually, if he might just come over to Bucky’s house after Bucky shoots down Steve's idea of a cafe because, no, too public. Too high of a risk of paparazzi. Bucky is embarrassed he didn’t think of the simple things. Starbucks. Someone's apartment. A park. God. A country club? That was the best he could come up with?!
Either way, they meet and discuss.
An agreement is made.
Weekly allowances for Steve in the form of money that goes straight to one of his bank accounts (a flat rate with additional “bonuses” depending on how much time Steve spends with Bucky), all his to do whatever he pleases with, and money that goes into an account Steve controls but that is meant for Bucky--money meant for Steve to use to buy things for Bucky. It’s not Steve’s money, not really, but they pretend it is.
Extra money will be added for private events, public events (if Bucky decides he wants that), or other "large" things.
They also discuss what companionship will be exactly. Texting. Phone calls. Breakfast/lunch/dinner dates. Cuddling. Binge-watching shows. Maybe outings to spas or events or parties--if Steve will come with him. And…
Steve, this time, is the one to bring up sex. “Is that going to be a part of this?”
“Can it be?” Bucky asks, blushing and helplessly flicking his eyes down to Steve's body. Those shoulders. That chest. His thighs and what's between them, packed into his slim-fit jeans enticingly.
“Let me think about it,” Steve says steadily, unembarrassed. Once he texted Bucky, in a very non-judgemental way, but I'm not a sex worker, as if he were puzzled that he ended up here. Or puzzled that Bucky wasn't just going for a sex worker. But… he seems to be figuring his own emotions out. Bucky lets him. They move on. Discussing other things.
Eventually, Steve goes home.
A week passes.
Steve agrees that sex can be part of it via a phone call. Bucky tries to not react too strongly and wires him money to go and get an STI test even though he knows Steve can afford it himself. Bucky gets one too for himself.
But, when the results are in, both of them infection-free, sex doesn’t happen immediately. It’s more PG-companionship at first.
~~~
Steve comes over after he finishes work to eat dinner with Bucky, prepared by the help. They chat. They drink with dinner. Bucky soaks in every moment of it. Steve doesn't compliment his non-cooking but he does compliment Bucky's outfit. (He does tell the help they've done wonderfully when they come to collect the plates though.) Bucky wants to roll around in his voice, rumbly and perfect. He resists the urge to immediately have Steve over again the next evening.
He limits himself to bi-weekly at most for the first month. But… he can't keep it that sparse for too long. Steve's company is incredible.
So, dinner happens again and again.
They get comfortable around each other.
They move beyond dinner soon enough. And Steve goes shopping with Bucky, dutifully complimenting every item he puts on and how good he looks in it. Bucky watches Steve pick up things he likes--Bucky can see it on his face--and put them down immediately after seeing the price tag with a horrified noise in the back of his throat. Bucky blurts out, "just fucking get it," the sixth or seventh time it happens. Steve laughs, raising an eyebrow at him, and makes another joke. Something about having unknowingly acquired a sugar daddy. Being allowed to buy exorbitantly priced things. Luxury things.
Then, it's Bucky's turn to make a horrified sound in the back of his throat. This is just companionship and some sex and--
He wasn't ready to admit to that!
Steve senses something is wrong and apologizes without even knowing what he supposedly did. Bucky brushes it off quickly though. At least, Bucky tries to brush it off but he can't.
He can't shake it.
Hearing "Daddy" in Steve's voice… Fuck. Bucky wants to hear him call himself Daddy again. Bucky wants to call him Daddy.
Goddammit.
Despite his self imposed rules to Not Cross That Boundary With Steve…
Bucky ends up enticing Steve to fuck him for the first time in the high-end brand's dressing room. It'll be fine. He can control himself. He can get fucked without moaning for Daddy, right? He's done it before!
Yet…
With his legs tight around Steve's solid waist, his hands squeezing Steve's biceps tightly, and his teeth biting down on one of those huge shoulders as Steve's thick cock makes room for itself inside him, carving him open, hot and fast and good, he can’t muffle himself fully. One tiny gasp of, "d-daddy!" slips out of him.
And it's over.
Steve hears it and his next thrust is punishing. It's harsh. It fucks his cock right up against Bucky's sweet spot.
Bucky's mouth falls open with an obscene moan.
"Again," Steve whispers, pinching his side at the same time, adding a flicker of pain to their fucking.
Bucky doesn't hear it. He's too busy being fucked.
Steve won't stand for that though. He presses Bucky harder against the dressing room wall. Bucky smacks the back of his head happily on the wall. And, "say it again," Steve whispers again, voice harsher this time. Gritted out between his teeth.
Bucky moans louder.
And so Steve cups a hand over his mouth, squeezing his face with one of those huge, powerful hands, heavily whispering, "you better be quiet, baby. 'Cause you don't wanna get caught with your Daddy fucking your pretty brains out, do you? Don't wanna get banned from this store when you like their stupidly expensive clothes so--so fuckin' much, do you?"
Bucky's eyes roll. back. into. his. head. as he whines, muffled, against Steve's palm.
"Do you?"
Bucky shakes his head as much as he can with his jaw being squeezed like this.
"Didn't think so, no, sweet boy wants his Daddy all to himself. Doesn't he?"
The rush of Daddy calling himself Daddy and calling Bucky sweet boy has him spilling between their bodies.
Fuck.
Bucky ruins their clothes but he doesn't even blink. They'll just wear some of their clothes out of the store. Steve is floored. Jaw dropped. Bucky's gonna buy all of that? A whole new outfit? Did he even look at the tags? Did he even look at how much it costs? Bucky shakes his head. Nope. It doesn't matter. It can't be that expensive.
"Jesus Christ, boy," Steve murmurs, shaking his head and chuckling.
Bucky, playful and high on such a fantastic fucking and orgasm, leans in reeeal close to Daddy. He stretches up onto his tippy-toes. And he bites that beard jaw, purring, "welcome to the high life, Daddy."
Steve groans, his soft cock twitching in his new, expensive slacks.
And suddenly it's like hearing Bucky say that once, then hooking up and using it, makes everything click in Steve's head.
It's like he suddenly can read Bucky's thoughts. Because somehow he knows exactly what he craves now.
And Steve fucking steps. up. his. game.
He goes from just your average paid-romantic-partner to dream fucking Daddy.
Steve feeds Bucky dinner, balancing the younger man in his lap, telling him he’s good and pretty and everything Bucky knew he craved to hear but also what he didn't know he wanted--he needed to hear. It's a damn religious experience.
Steve gets a key to his brownstone and lets himself in before Bucky returns home to start a bath for him. A bath complete with fancy products that he buys with Bucky in mind and the peachy smell the younger man likes. Once Bucky arrives home, Steve brings him into the bathroom to strip him, jerk him off until he's crumbling into Daddy's chest, weak at the knees, and lower him into the bath he's made. Daddy washes him limb by limb, massaging him as he goes. Then… Daddy lifts him out of the bath and dumps him on his bed to fuck him. Bucky cannot do shit after his bath. God. His head is lolled back, his muscles are all melted, and his noises only come out as puffed, breathy, and overwhelmed things. Daddy teases him affectionately for being a spoiled princess. But, shit, with the way Daddy puts his back into fucking him… it doesn't seem like he minds.
Steve lets Bucky pull him around social events. Wide-eyed and trying not to be the entire time. He often leans into Bucky throughout the night, covertly asking him what the fuck is that? What should I order? Why is it all in french, what the hell? How the fuck do I eat that? What fork again? Which glass? Disguising all of his questions are sweet nothings that make Bucky blush, doted on by his older partner.
~~~
Bucky knows he’s whining the second he starts talking into the receiver of his cell phone after the beep indicating that he needs to leave his message or hang up, “Daddyyy, I hope whatever you’re doing is important enough to excuse you not picking up,” he can't help but huff. He’s had the, like, worst day ever. Already. It's barely 1:00 pm and he has an event to attend tonight. “I just Venmo-ed you your extra allowance-" that's what they've taken to calling the money that Steve gets to spend on Bucky, "-for this week and with the day I’ve had..." he sighs, pinching his brow and forcing himself over the embarrassment of actually asking for what he needs, once in his goddamn life. His cheeks are pink. At least he knows Steve likes it. Him asking for shit. “I want something really nice, please, Daddy? Something that'll help me blow off steam." Bucky blushes more intensely, finishing off with, "I'll see you Friday, Daddy--don't forget my driver is coming by to pick you up--but it'd be good if you could maybe call me before then. Bye-bye”
Steve calls back after work. He must've sped home to call so soon. Bucky smirks, thinking about maybe having to pay for a speeding ticket. Which shouldn't turn him on but… he's been known to have a thing for bad boys here and there 😏
Daddy has good timing with his call, he's just getting changed for tonight's event.
Steve's rumbling voice greets him the second he picks up the call labeled 💖🔥Daddy🔥💖 “tough week, huh, sweet boy? That's okay, Daddy's here to make it better."
Bucky sighs. Already, he feels better. Already, he can feel his brain begin to fade away into a pink, cotton candy haze he seems to always soak in when around Steve.
Yet, Steve's voice gets more mischievous now, "Daddy bought you some pretty things like you deserve but Daddy also bought himself something… you wanna know what he got?"
Bucky nods, frazzled enough to forget Steve can't see him. When he remembers suddenly though, he forces his voice to work, "y-yeah, wanna know."
"There's Daddy's sweet boyy," he coos. He swallows, then, "Daddy bought himself a Rolex."
Oh, oof.
There's another thing that shouldn't turn Bucky on but does… high-end brand names coming out of Steve's plush lips. Something about hearing it makes Bucky's dick hard. He doesn't know what and he doesn't really care to know so long as Steve keeps doing it.
"But you know the secret about what Daddy bought himself today?"
"No," Bucky breathes.
"Well," Steve pauses dramatically, "this watch isn’t just for Daddy. It's for you too, baby boy, 'cause as cute as you are… I know you're a dirty boy too."
Bucky dramatically flops back onto his bed before he can collapse where he had been pacing in his bedroom, in front of the huge mirrored walk-in-closet doors. Knees starting to buckle as his head swims with arousal.
Steve hears him move and chuckles darkly through his next few words, "I know as innocent as you look, you like it rough."
Bucky squeaks despite himself.
"You like it rough and want Daddy to call you sweet names and tell you sweet things, but you want Daddy to fuck you like he hates your guts."
God. Bucky whines, clutching his phone harder. It's true. It's really fucking true.
"And I know better than a collar you'd like Daddy's hand on your throat."
Fuck. His eyes squeeze shut tightly.
"So, what do you think? You think my hand around your throat with this new watch on will make you look extra pretty?"
Bucky's breath stutters. Oh.
"'Cause Daddy thinks you'll look even prettier with a Rolex near your throat. All shiny and sparkly over that blush you always get. Turning red 'cause you're hard for Daddy but also red because Daddy decides when you breathe. Isn't that right, baby?"
Bucky cannot speak. This is entirely unexpected and incredibly perfect. A punch to the gut of pure arousal.
"Daddy decides everything--his pretty boy doesn't have to think when Daddy's home."
"Daddy-" Bucky gasps.
Daddy doesn't even acknowledge it. He doesn't give him room to breathe. He just goes for the kill, "but Daddy also bought something just for you, y’know?"
"No?"
"Mmm, well, let Daddy tell you then. Daddy bought his pretty boy something pretty. You wanna guess what pretty thing it is?"
"Uhh, yuh-yeah?"
Steve pauses. He waits. He prompts, "what then, sweets?" when Bucky can't kick his head into thinking.
Bucky sputters, "uh, jewelry?" He takes a shot in the dark, only thinking about the press of an obscene priced watch, cold and hard, to his throat and chest, Daddy's fingers squeezing his neck tight.
"Nah, try again."
"A toy?"
"Nope." He sounds smug.
"Clothes?"
"Mm-hm, it's some kind of clothes, yup."
"Pretty clothes?"
"Duh," he playfully admonishes.
Bucky breathes a little harder. Clothes, clothes, clothes, what kind of clothes could it be? "A suit?"
"Smaller than a suit."
This game is getting him more wound up than he cares to admit. He's all hot and squirmy on his bed. "A shirt?"
"No. Smaller still."
"Um, okay," Bucky licks his lips, "wh-what about… underwear?"
"Try another word for underwear."
Bucky whines. Oh.
Oh, no.
He--he can't. He can't say that out loud! He knows--he thinks he knows what Daddy bought him--but…
"Daddy wants to hear you say it, c’mon, kitten. Say it for me."
Those words sound like pure sin coming off of his lips, so, of course, he can't resist obeying. "P-panties?"
"Not just panties, baby boy. Daddy got some special panties for his boy."
Oh.
Bucky--
Bucky doesn't know what to do with himself. Jesus. He's so hard. From just talking. He's aching from just talking over the phone. Christ.
"Daddy bought you easy-access panties. And if you fuckin' ruin 'em from being too excited and eager for Daddy, then I'll just have to buy more... 'cause I've got plans for your little body in these little panties."
The way he says these little panties lets Bucky know he has them in his hands. He's touching them. Bucky wants Daddy to touch him. He wants--he, he…
Fuck.
The image of Daddy jerking himself off with panties meant for Bucky wrapped around his hard cock knocks Bucky off his fucking rocker. He moans like he's being fisted. He moans like he's not just lying back on his king-sized bad being dirty talked so, so thoroughly.
"Wanna hear the plan Daddy has for you?"
Bucky nods frantically, making a ridiculous uh-huh sound. He already sounds fucked out.
"Daddy is gonna put these easy-access panties on his boy and slide his fingers into that pretty little cunt. One finger at a time, using that strawberry-scented lube you like, sweet boy. 'M gonna finger you, all without your new, lacy, pink, easy access panties coming off because you're desperate for Daddy and desperate for how filthy and pretty you feel in panties, you dirty boy."
Bucky can't breathe.
He hoarsely whines.
He can't process how hot that sounds, so he has no idea how he'll be able to live through it.
"And even if you clench down on Daddy's fingers and cum we're not stopping. Daddy isn't stopping. No. Daddy's not gonna quit touching that pink, pretty cunt until it's split open on Daddy's fist--"
Bucky instantly pictures those huge hands. His thick, long fingers. Bucky's mouth waters.
Shit.
"--'Cause Daddy wants his new watch on his wrist to touch your greedy, twitching, and wet rim."
Bucky doesn't even… he can't even think. He, his--his lips just move, reckless and unbearably needy, "fuck the fucking party Daddy. You. Here. Now. Please, please, please. Need it. Need you. You hav'ta get here! Daddy!"
Steve chuckles evilly, "okay, okay, Daddy's on his way, sweetheart. Just sit tight. Oh, and, baby-?"
"Wha--"
"Don't you dare touch yourself, Daddy wants your pleasure all to himself. Hands off." He orders.
Bucky whines like a kicked puppy. That's not faaair!
Anyway I hope that was worth the read lmao 🤘🏻

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A rough voice accompanied by a tap on my shoulder rouses me. I groan inwardly, squinting beneath the unremitting beam of light. My whole body is tight from lack of sleep.
“Come on, Major. Breakfast is at four-thirty. Briefing at five-fifteen.” Of course, another mission. I hate the unexpected.
A momentary frisson of annoyance runs through me as I roll onto my back, “I’m up,” I mutter, dismissing the officer until he departs and the harsh, inciped, white light weakens.
I casually position my left bicep under the pillow and close my eyes again, but I know its imperative I get to the briefing as soon as I can.
My head feels thick because of drink, still. The enticement of dancing among young women and the ability to have as many drinks as I preferred felt to congenial.
Thoughts of two nights prior flood my senses; my dance with Susan.
I liked her, particularly because of her attractive features; her dark mid-length hair and fanned out eyelashes. Her amber-flecked eyes were ones I could drown in.
Are you sure you like her, just for that matter? The thought is morose. Have you ever liked a woman for more than her features? Was I ever honest, though?
The sobering truth is inconsequential; I’d rather find a distraction and swallow back a few drinks in order to keep my mind halted for a few hours. It’s because of this war. This war. Maybe it could be temporary. War is normal now, Egan, I surmised.
I notice a few of the other men are also awake; the rustling of cotton sheets and disgruntled murmurs are familiar to me now. Our mission won’t end unless our own plane gets blown apart or we land behind German lines; the frailty or mere occurrence of either happening, few cared to discuss.
Watch it, Bucky, Buck Cleven’s voice echoed in my head. He had been staring slightly at me with his usual, calculated, appreciation that night. It’s one dance; not a lifetime. I was too drunk at the time to apprehend what he meant; if it nuanced at teasing, I couldn’t decipher it. Buck’s personality very seldom suggested humour. She might not fancy you. Not even a wry joke.
My senses felt too relaxed and obstructed by the faint stupor of the alcohol. I had responded to him anyways, telling myself I could dance with her if I wanted to, Ah, come on Buck, for once, leave the dancing to me tonight. You’re too involved with Marge to have any fun.
Cleven had watched me, indignant, grinning with easy noncompliance.
I smirk. Good old Buck. Trying to deter my persistence; the only man I know who has a picture of his girl, Marjorie, in his left breast-pocket. Keeps her photo on the dash of his B-17. The only man who decides to dance with Meatball when he could be waltzing with some American Red Cross woman.
Cleven was like that; polished, a man of integrity, one who kept his word. A reliable friend. A friend more than a mere acquaintance.
Oh Holy Night
Fandom: 9-1-1 Rating: General Pairing: Buddie, Eddie Diaz x Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley AO3   Masterlist
Summary: The 118 get a last minute call on Christmas Eve that does not go well.
*** MY WORK IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER SITE WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION. THOUGH REBLOGS AND COMMENTS ARE SUPER LOVED AND APPRECIATED! THANKS FAM!***
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     The alarm rang with literally one minute left to go before the end of shift, and as much as they all wanted to leave it for the next shift and make it home in time for Christmas, they all knew they couldn't do it.
     “One more to close out the shift, guys, let's move!” Bobby called as he ran past them and toward the truck.
     They were pulling up to the fire just minutes later, a structure fire in some old abandoned warehouse. Buck couldn't help but feel relieved about that. He couldn't even imagine showing up to a house or building fire, having to pull families out of their burning homes on Christmas Eve, seeing the devastated faces of the kids.
     There was another fire house already there when they pulled up and hopped out of the truck, pulling out some homeless who had taken shelter inside. “What's going on?” Bobby called to the chief of the other station.
     “We've pulled five already, one of them said there's another guy still inside, said he ran toward the back of the building when the fire broke out. I've got guys searching the front and left sides of the building, but we haven't found him yet. Name’s James.”
     “Okay!” Bobby nodded, then turned to his crew, “Chim, I want you to help treat those who have already been pulled from the fire. Hen you're with me, we're going to sweep right, Buck and Eddie, you two head to the back of the building. We've got a man missing, his name is James. Listen to your radios, we won't have much time once we're inside, so when I say out you haul ass, understood?”
     “Yes Captain!” They all answered in unison, then everyone ran off to their assigned places.
     Hen and Bobby entered first, immediately turning to the right. Eddie and Buck were right behind them and quickly made their way to the back of the building. The fire was roaring to life around them, the smoke was so thick they could barely see where they were going, the only way Buck even knew Eddie was just an arms reach ahead of him, was because every few steps he'd reach out to touch him.
     They finally made it to the back rooms, looking through each room and calling out but no one answered. “I don't think he's back here, Buck!” Eddie shouted over the fire.
     “Yeah, I don't think so either! Radio Bobby, let him know it's clear back here.”
     “Buck, Eddie,” Bobby beat them to it, his voice ringing clear through the radio, “we got James, head back!”
     “Copy that, Cap,” Eddie answered back, then turned and started making his way back with Buck.
     They were halfway back when the building started to shake. Buck looked up just in time to see one of the beams falling toward him, but at the last second he was pushed out of the way by Eddie. He felt it miss him by mere inches, brushing past his back as he stumbled to the ground. He called out for Eddie, turning back to try and look for him, but he didn't get far before the rest of the building was falling on top of them and everything went black.
~~~~~~~~~~~
     Buck groaned and lulled his aching head to the side. He slowly opened his eyes only to be met with the dim light from his helmet, and found he was encased in a bubble of debris. “Eddie?” He called out, choking on the still settling dust around him. “Eddie? Where are you?”
     A groan to his left had him turning his head, and he could just barely make out Eddie beside him coming to. “Uh, Buck…?”
     “I'm here, Eddie!”
     Eddie turned his head fully to look at him. Buck could see that his helmet had fallen off during the chaos and there was a gash on his head, it didn't look too bad but he couldn't see much more than that.
     “Are you hurt?” Eddie asked.
     Buck shook his head, “No, no I'm good, my leg’s pinned under something, but I'm fine. You?”
     “I hurt like hell, but I think I'm okay.”
     “Can you reach me?” Buck asked and held his arm out through the debris, reaching over the beam that had fallen between them.
     Eddie lifted his arm too, but they were just a few inches short of touching. “Maybe I can move and, ah-”
     Eddie winced and pulled back, his face contorting in pain and Buck panicked. “What?! What's wrong?!”
     “My side,” he grunted, reaching a hand down to touch it. Then he lifted his hand to his face to look and both of them went still, silent. “I think… I don't think I'm okay, Buck.”
~~~~~~~~~~~
     “Hey! Hey! Help us!” Buck had been screaming for what felt like hours. Since the second he saw the blood covering Eddie’s hand, he hadn't stopped. Eddie was getting paler and paler by the second, Buck couldn't move to get to him, to put pressure on it, the radio wasn’t working, and no one was coming. “Hey! Were down here! Hey!”
     “Buck…”
     His throat was raw with how hard and how long he'd been screaming, “Help us!”
     “Buck,” he breathed, a little more forceful this time, “Buck, it's okay.”
     “It's not okay, Eddie. You're bleeding out, you need help, I can't…”
     “Buck, I need you to stop for a second, please stop.” He kept screaming, kept slamming his hands against the debris over his head to no avail. “Buck!”
     Buck stopped moving and looked over to Eddie. He couldn't see much in the dim light but he could tell that he had pretty much no colour left in his face, his skin was almost gray. His eyes were just slits and Buck could tell he was fighting to even keep them open that much, and he had started to slump against the beam that separated them. Buck was trying his best to hold it together, to focus on trying to get Eddie help as fast as he could, but seeing Eddie look like that was more than he could handle. It was just like the last time.
     “Buck, are you listening?” Eddie breathed and forced his eyes open enough to see Buck nod. “Good. In case… in case I don't make it-”
     “No, stop,” Buck whined, shaking his head, “don't say that. You'll be fine, they'll get us.”
     “In case I don't make it,” he repeated, “I have some things I wanna say. First, you remember when I got shot and I told you that I had made you Christopher’s legal guardian? I need you to make sure you follow through with that. No matter what happens, please, make sure my parents don't try and take him away. He's going to need you, Buck, and I know you're going to need him. You have… you have to stay together, okay?”
     “Eddie, you know I'll always take care of Chris, but I won't have to-”
     “I'm not done,” he sucked in a raspy breath, “there's one more thing I have to say, and I'm just going to say it. Buck, I love you.”
     “Eddie…” Buck was crying, tears streaming down his face, clearing tracks through the soot caked on his cheeks.
     “I always have,” he whispered, leaning more heavily against the beam, his voice getting softer with each word, “I just wanted you to know, just in case I don't make it out. You don't even have to say it back, I just… I just needed to know that if I… if I do die, I at least got to let you know how I feel about you.”
     “Eds… Eddie!” He called to him as Eddie fully slumped over the beam, trying desperately to reach him.
     “Keep him safe, Buck, keep Chris happy, I…” Eddie’s arm dropped from the beam, limp like the rest of him was now. “I… Buck, love you…”
     “Eddie! No, Eddie, gah!” He screamed again, feeling each word rip at his throat, grunting as he pushed with all his force at the debris above him. Eddie wasn't answering anymore, he wasn't even sure if he was breathing, and Buck felt his own chest tighten and he put everything he had in him to try and break through.
     “Ahh!” He grunted, then suddenly his arms burst through and someone was grabbing his hand.
     “Hey! We're here, we're gonna get you out! Just hang on!”
     Chim, it was Chimney. Then there was light in his face, blinding him, and finally there was hope.
     “Alright, let's get you out of here-” Chim started to say, but Buck stopped him.
     “No! Get Eddie, you have to get Eddie! He's hurt!”
     Chim ducked his head under the debris to look at where Buck was pointing, and as soon as he saw Eddie's limp form, he jumped back up and started yelling for the others to help him. Buck waited and held his breath, then finally Chim popped his head through the debris over Eddie. He reached down to place his fingers on Eddie's neck, then yelled for a collar and a backboard. He watched as Chim and someone from another station lifted Eddie from the hole they were in, then he was gone, and suddenly Hen was on him.
     “Buck, are you hurt?” She asked, her eyes scanning him and her hands roaming his body looking for any indication of injury.
     “Is Eddie okay?”
     “Buck, baby, answer me. Are you hurt anywhere?” Hen asked again.
     “Is he even alive?!” Buck screamed and Hen jumped back a bit. He'd never yelled at her before, and he hadn't meant to now, but he needed to know.
     Hen lifted herself back through the hole and looked over to where the other station's medics were loading a still unconscious and unmoving Eddie into the ambulance and driving away. She didn't know, she hadn't checked for his pulse or taken any vitals, so she didn't know what to say and opted to just say nothing.
     Buck took in the look she was giving him, that heartbroken stare and he didn't need her to say anything, it was all in her eyes. Eddie still wasn't awake, Eddie still wasn’t responding, if he'd been awake when she looked up she would have told him. All he could do was cry.
     He registered Hen trying for a third time to ask him questions, he heard Chim behind her while the two talked. He saw through foggy eyes when Chim climbed through the hole where they had taken Eddie, felt him crawl over and lift the beam off his leg to free him. But while it was all going on his thoughts were only on Eddie, on Christopher, on what Eddie had said and on what Buck hadn't said. He thought of the dull gray colour of his skin, the limpness of his body, the silence that followed it all.
     “Buck, I’m putting a collar on you, okay,” Chim said right beside his ear, “Hen, pass the board.”
     The next thing Buck knew he was being lifted through the hole, then he was horizontal and moving. Again he registered both Chim and Hen talking to him while they pushed him to the ambulance, but again he said nothing. He just kept staring up, into a void that was Eddie shaped and all consuming, feeling the tears falling from the corners of his eyes and gathering in his hairline. How was he supposed to live his life without Eddie, and how was he supposed to tell Chris his dad was gone?
~~~~~~~~~~~
     He was wheeled around the hospital and put through every kind of test imaginable, which he was pretty sure Bobby had a hand in. He'd had his blood taken about three times already, x-rayed about every bone in his body, and seen the inside of a dozen other machines. But all the while he was in a daze, this hazed over trance of complete and utter hopelessness. His heart was aching for Eddie and the loss he now carried, would always carry, and his mind was stuck on Christopher. He didn't know if he was okay, if he was home, if anyone had told him, and on Christmas of all days. He was going to be devastated.
     Eventually he was wheeled into a room, his vitals checked one last time, and then he was alone, which was all together worse than having the distraction of the tests to at least dull down some of his thoughts.
     “Hey, Buck.” He didn't move his eyes from where they remained stuck on the ceiling, but he knew it was Bobby's voice. “How do you feel?”
     He didn't answer, he just couldn't find the energy in him to make his mouth work.
     Bobby walked over and sat in the chair by the bed. Buck managed to tear his eyes away for a split second to take in Bobby. He didn't know how long he'd been doing all his tests for, it had felt like hours, but despite how long it had actually been Bobby had obviously been there the whole time. He had ditched his turnout gear but he was still in his uniform, and he was just as covered in soot and ash as Buck was. It was in his hair, on his face, his hands. He'd stayed at the hospital the whole time, hadn't left to shower or change, Buck hadn't expected anything less from him.
     “I wanted to let you know that Chris is alright. I knew you'd be worried about him, but as soon as we got him out and into the ambulance, Athena called Eddie's Abuela and told her what happened. She's going to keep Chris at her house for now.”
     Buck nodded, the first sign that he'd even been listening since he was pulled from the debris. He was relieved to know that Chris was safe and with someone he loved, but then the tears started up again as he asked, “Does he know?”
     Bobby scrunched his brow and leaned to rest his elbows on his knees. “Know what? About the accident?”
     “About…” He took a breath, “About Eddie.”
     “Buck, Eddie-”
     “I should be the one to tell him,” Buck blurted, choking on a sob, “he should hear it from me.”
     “Tell him what exactly?”
     “He's going to be devastated,” Buck sucked in a breath and covered his face with a hand, “so I… we've been through this once before when Eddie… when Eddie was shot, so it should be me. I'll tell him what happened, I'll make sure he knows his dad died a hero.”
     “Died… Buck,” Bobby leaned in even further and shook his head, “Eddie’s not dead.”
     “What?!” He turned two shimmering, hope filled globes on Bobby, begging for this to be real. “He’s… when I asked if he was alive Hen didn't say anything, and I just… I thought…”
     “He's alive, Buck,” Bobby smiled at him, “Hen didn't know the extent of his injuries, the other station's medics transported him while Hen and Chim pulled you out. But he is very much alive and he's actually the reason why I'm here right now.”
     “What do you mean?”
     Bobby couldn't help but laugh a bit before he answered, “He's all patched up now, he's got a concussion, stitches in his side, but nothing’s broken and his other scans came up clear. The doctors wanted him to rest with no visitors except for me, but he's refusing to rest. He's also threatened the nurses more than once that he was going to rip out his IV and wires, and get himself out of bed if they didn't let you into the room to see him. So I've come to bring you to Eddie's room before he causes any more of a fuss. So, do you wanna go see him?”
     “Yes! Yes, let's go!” Buck swung his legs over the side of the bed and was on his feet, before nearly falling over.
     Bobby reached out and caught him before he hit the ground, and propped him against his side for support. “Easy there, Buck. You also have a concussion and a sprained ankle, so let's not over do this alright.”
     “I just want to get to Eddie, I need to tell him something.”
     “I know,” Bobby chuckled again as Buck tried to hop them forward, but he kept a firm grip on his waist, “but Eddie’s not going anywhere, so just slow down.”
     Buck reluctantly slowed his pace to match Bobby’s and allowed him to lead him through the halls. With every turn down a new hallway Buck hobbled a little faster, then finally they were there. He could hear Eddie's voice coming through the slightly opened door, and if Bobby hadn't had such a grip on him he would have been running.
     Bobby reached a hand out to push the door open, revealing a very determined looking Eddie and a very distraught looking nurse. “I told you if you didn't let Buck in here, I was going to see him myself! I need to see him!”
     “Sir, Mr. Diaz, please,” the nurse begged, trying to stop him from ripping out the IV, “your boss has gone to speak with Mr. Buckley, just have some patience, I'm sure he'll be back soon.”
     “And here I am,” Bobby said as he walked in with Buck in tow, “or rather here we are, so stop pulling on that IV and relax, Buck’s right here.”
     “Buck!” Eddie beamed and reached his hands out toward Buck, and Buck pushed himself away from Bobby to lunge at the bed.
     “Eddie!” He hobbled over and landed himself in Eddie's waiting arms, and Eddie pulled him tight against his chest and back against the bed to practically lay on top of him.
     “Buck! Do not pop his stitches!” Bobby yelled, but Eddie just waved him off. He didn't care, he was just glad to have Buck in his line of sight again.
     He pulled back just enough to look at Buck and take him in, leaving their chests pressed together, and took Buck's face in his hands. “Hey, what's with all these tears?” He asked as he thumbed them away, leaning in to press their foreheads together.
     “Eddie, I thought you were dead,” Buck shook his head as more tears streamed from his eyes and collided with Eddie’s thumbs, “I thought I lost you-”
     “Well, you didn't, I'm right here, okay, right here,” he breathed, rubbing his nose against Bucks, “and I'm not going anywhere because I love you.”
     “I…” Buck smiled, feeling warm again for the first time since they were trapped, “I thought when you said that down there it might have been caused by the blood loss.”
     “And here I am, back to normal, and I still love you, Buck, so much.”
     Buck ran his hands up Eddie's chest to cradle his face, and closed his eyes as he breathed, “I love you too, Eds. Don't ever scare me like that again.”
     “I promise.” Eddie pulled Buck in and closed the gap to kiss him, their lips meeting in the most passionate kiss of his life, filled with all the feelings both of them wished they had said long before this.
     They kissed until they couldn't breathe, and even then they went back for more. They would never get enough of this, of finally being together, of finally being able to love each other. It was all either of them had ever wanted, and after a heart stopping shift and a very chaotic Christmas Eve, they finally had it.
     When they eventually managed to pull away from each other, both completely exhausted from not only the events of the day but the rollercoaster of emotions as well, Eddie shifted over in the bed and lifted the blanket for Buck to shimmy in beside him. He tucked himself right next to Eddie, settling onto his chest with his head in the crook of his neck, and their arms wrapped around each other tightly.
     Just as they settled in, a nurse walked through the door and past Bobby. She stopped dead upon seeing them stuffed onto the bed together, especially since Eddie had just nearly died and still had very fresh stitches holding him together. “No, no you guys can't lie like that. Mr. Diaz needs to rest-”
     Bobby reached out to gently grab her arm and pull her back toward the door, guiding her out of the room and whispered, “I think you'll find that you'll have a much harder time getting them to rest if you try and separate them, trust me, this is the best for both of them right now.”
     The nurse tried to protest, but Bobby just shook his head and led her out. He turned back to grab the door handle, sneaking one last peek in at the boys before he closed it, then left.
     Once Eddie heard the door open, he peeked an eye open to look down at Buck who was pretty much already asleep, then he looked over to the clock on the wall above the door. “Hey, Buck,” he whispered, and Buck hummed sleepily, “merry Christmas, Cariño.”
     Buck lifted his head off of Eddie's chest just enough to see that the clock read 4:49 am, Christmas day. He smiled and laid back on Eddie's chest, lifting his chin up just enough to place a loving kiss along his jawline. “Merry Christmas, Eds, I love you.”
     “I love you too.”
the darkness that soothes
5x17 coda // buck x eddie spoilers ahead, matey! haha. i’m sorry
--
There aren’t as many stars in Los Angeles as there are in El Paso.
Eddie’s always liked stars. Christopher’s love of space, Eddie likes to think, was born out of Eddie’s own fascination with it. Nighttime was Eddie’s favorite time of day – nighttime was when all the weight of responsibility left him, when he had no one to look after but himself, and only the stars to keep him company.
He misses the stargazing, he thinks. More than anything else in El Paso – alright, less than Abuela, sure, and he only says this because he’s still not entirely sure Abuela can’t read minds – he misses the stars, and he misses the company they kept him during the night.
It’s in the middle of stargazing that he gets a call from Buck, sometime around what should be eight his time. Eddie takes the call, because he never doesn’t.
“It’s ten o’clock here, Buckley,” he jokes immediately. “You know it’s past my bedtime.”
“Alright, old man,” Buck is quick to respond. “I don’t have time for your back-hurting jokes.”
Eddie frowns. “How did you know my back hurts right now?”
“I – did you lift something without bending your knees again?” Buck asks. “What am I saying, of course you did. You never lift with your knees, you’re like an emu.”
Eddie snorts. “What?”
“They don’t have kneecaps,” Buck replies off-handedly. “Eddie, I – something happened here, and I’m – I have no idea what to do, man.”
Eddie’s sitting up the second he hears the slight shift in Buck’s tone. It’s gone from unendingly fond to terrified, but it wouldn’t appear that way to anyone else but to Eddie, he doesn’t think. It’s a slight octave change, almost imperceptible, and yet Eddie’s heard it a thousand times over, enough so that he recognizes it instantly. “Okay,” he replies. “Go on.”
Buck launches into the story of Jonah Greenway and his serial killer tendencies, how he somehow kidnapped Hen and Chim, the perilous journey the two had gone through to take him down, and lastly, how he felt he may have had a hand in it all.
Eddie’s already back inside the house and looking for his suitcase when Buck brings this up. “What?”
“I—” Buck huffs. “I convinced Hen and Chim to tell me with Taylor there, because I thought – I told them she wouldn’t tell, and now I think – Eddie, I think she might have said something,” he insists. “I think she might have tipped him off.”
Eddie is quiet for a second. Logically, he knows that’s probably not the case. Bobby probably reported Jonah as soon as Hen and Chim came to him with their suspicions – even if Bobby weren’t a worried paternal figure to everyone at the firehouse, his wife is a cop, who’d immediately suggest they report the asshole. Logically, he’s sure Taylor had little else to do with the whole thing other than having an immediate in when it all went down – having information no other reporter was going to have because of her relationship with Buck and his friends, and using it to her advantage. Not that it doesn’t feel – apathetic, of her, unethical, especially, but it probably wasn’t her who tipped Jonah off.
And yet—
A part of Eddie wants to be petty and add fuel to this fire.
He’s not going to. That’d be crazy, and he thinks Buck’s had enough crazy for the night. And it’s not even something he can justify to himself. It’s a fleeting desire, one that has no rhyme or reason, so all he can do is chalk it up to spending too much time around his extended family and lock it inward.
(He’ll get to it later. Shut up.)
“This isn’t in any way your fault, Buck,” he promises, shoving clothes into his suitcase. They probably won’t be able to leave until the morning, since he doesn’t want to wake Christopher up, but it’ll still be a couple of days earlier than planned. He explains to Buck his logic behind this sentiment, then adds, “Taylor’s her own person. She makes her own decisions. Either way, whatever the truth is, whatever happened, it’ll be on her. Not you.”
There’s a silence at the other end of the line that Eddie allows to happen. Mostly because if he fills it with something, it’ll probably be something stupid and sentimental, something like—
“I miss you.”
Eddie has to make sure he didn’t accidentally say the words out loud, after all, and it’s only after a couple of seconds of this confusion that he realizes it wasn’t him. It was Buck.
He can’t help but smile. Just a little. “It’s been two days, Buck.”
“Yeah, and look what happened,” Buck insists. “I’m losing it, Eddie. I’m starting to think you and Christopher are the only reason I’m a whole person half the time.”
He says this so casually, like they’re not words that inject themselves into Eddie’s veins and feel like an adrenaline rush, but he can’t – he can’t allow himself to sit in the feeling. Less so in his parents’ house. That’s a whole other can of worms he will be touching at a later date.
“Well, then you’ll have to pick us up at the airport tomorrow,” Eddie decides to say. “I’m not sure about the time, but I’ll look at tickets in a few—”
“I thought—” Buck pauses, right after interrupting. “I thought you weren’t coming home until Sunday?”
Eddie raises an eyebrow, hoping Buck feels the energy of his expression, at the very least. “You think I’m just gonna stay here after all of that? No way,” he snorts. “We’re coming home.”
Another stretch of silence as Eddie continues to pack clothes messily into his suitcase. He may have to leave some things behind, considering there’s no way he’s going back and folding this. Sounds exhausting. Sounds like more time wasted.
“I’ll be there,” Buck finally says. “At the airport, I mean. Whenever. Doesn’t matter. Give me a time, I’ll be there for you two.”
Eddie’s smile turns crooked. “Yeah, I didn’t think you’d leave us stranded.”
“Never,” Buck replies, so earnestly Eddie almost bursts with it. “Is – did everything – your family?”
Eddie reads the question between the lines. He pauses. “Fine,” he replies, and it’s half-true. “I’ll tell you all about it later, yeah?”
“Yeah,” Buck replies, and his voice is quieter, softer. Eddie hears a small cry on the other end of the line, and he huffs a small laugh.
“Sounds like you’re being summoned,” he says, and Buck hums.
“Princess Jee awaits,” he admits. “I’ll – tomorrow, then. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Yeah,” Eddie nods, and he feels his heart settle into a rhythm not unlike a hummingbird’s. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Keep me updated, if anything – you know.”
“I know.”
“Give everyone my love.”
“Give it to them yourself,” Buck quips, and Eddie rolls his eyes.
“Bye, Buck.”
“Bye, Eddie.”
They hang up, and Eddie looks around his childhood bedroom, high school trophies lined up in every surface possible like prized possessions.
Tomorrow, he’ll leave here again. Half-filled with pride, half-filled with peace. He’s got a longer road ahead of him, he knows, but the talk with his dad – it was a start. Tomorrow, he’ll leave the place he grew up in for a sunnier, drier heat, for people who run around with lettuces in cups and for a sky filled with a haze of light pollution that make stars at night a rare sight.
So. Yeah.
There aren’t as many stars in Los Angeles as there are in El Paso.
But there’s no Evan Buckley in El Paso.
And that’s just something his hometown can’t compete with.
Inner Conflict
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Avenger!Reader
Word Count: 3586
Warnings: !FATWS SPOILERS!, Cursing, Some Angst, Some Fluff, Sam and Bucky being idiots, Mentions of PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression
A/N: Here’s Part Three to my FATWS Series, which I’m making a masterlist for that you can find Here.
Uh…it’s a little long, and I apologize for that. It doesn’t even encompass the whole second episode, only the first half, so a Part 3.5 will be coming out later today probably (it’s my day off work so I have all day to relax and write!) I tried not doing a line for line rewrite of the episode, but there are quotes from the show in here. Mostly it’s Reader’s thoughts and feelings towards what’s happening while conversations are going on around. Reader’s backstory is a bit more unfurled. It’s more action packed and more scene-for-scene of the episode than the previous two. Less emotions shared and less hurt/comfort type of thing, but that’ll be back in the next part probably along with more scenes not in the show. The next part I’m planning won’t be as long, it’ll mainly just be the Couples Therapy scene and a bit more angst with her and Sam and her and Bucky.
Because there’s four more episodes and I don’t know what’s going to happen in them, I’m kinda hesitant on spilling out exactly what is going on with the Reader and what her role was on the original team, but we’ll get there. Also, I wasn’t expecting to be writing multiple pieces for one episode, but if the other episodes are as packed as this one, prepare yourself for more parts than anticipated. We’re already on Part 3 and I’ve got Part 3.5 coming. Just bare with me as I don’t know what’s going to happen in future episodes! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy it!
(Not beta’d so excuse any mistakes.)
!SPOILERS UNDER CUT!
Walking out of the shower, ruffling a towel through your hair to dry it off, you froze at the sound of the TV. A sigh left your lips. It’s all he’d been doing the last few days - watching the news. Keeping up with the tour for the new Captain America.
You peeked out of the small bedroom to find Bucky sitting on the floor, brow creased as he watched John Walker talk to the Good Morning America hostess.
“You shouldn’t be watching that.” You spoke up, leaning on the doorway, still patting your hair dry. He glanced over to you, taking in the towel wrapped around you, before looking back at the TV. Seeing you like that wasn’t anything new. “Buck, I’m serious. Brooding over it won’t make anything better.”
“What do you want me to do?”
You let out a sigh, shifting your feet and biting your lip as you thought about how to respond. “I-I haven’t figured it out yet. But obsessing over the new guy-”
“Aren’t you mad?”
You frowned at his question, his eyes meeting yours once more. “I told you already that I am.”
He tilted his head, which he did when he was confused, his eyes narrowing. “Why don’t you show it? Why aren’t you screaming or cursing or crying or something? You, of all people-”
“Because it won’t help anything, Buck.” You shook your head, pushing off the wall. “I want to. But if I let myself go down that road…” Dropping your gaze to the floor, you take a breath, collecting your thoughts. “This is such a complicated situation, James. I’m being contacted left and right for a statement on the new Captain. People trying to see my reaction. Senators trying to get me to meet with him. I can’t let myself snap. I can’t.”
He scowled. “They’re still bothering you?”
A dry chuckle escaped your lips and you nodded. “Makes me miss the days when no one knew who I was; when I was the behind-the-scenes seventh Avenger. But I made that choice to come out, and I have to deal with the consequences now. Blowing up will only-”
“Even though I never met him…he feels like a brother.”
That one statement stopped you in your tracks. Bucky’s head whipped back to the TV, his jaw ticking, his nose scrunching up.
“Did he really just say that?”
Bucky merely nodded, his chest heaving as he tried getting his breathing under control. “Feel like snapping now?”
You purse your lips as you held in the tears stinging your eyes. After composing yourself, you moved over and grabbed the remote, letting out a tiny sniffle as you did so. You tentatively touched Bucky’s shoulder, silently asking him if he needed anything from you. His response was to open his arms, so you quickly got down besides him to hold him.
“He is my brother, doll.”
“I know, Buck.” You pressed a soft kiss to his head, which rested against your bare shoulder.
Your bare knees are pressed harshly against the wooden panels of the floor, and you’re twisted awkwardly, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care. As long as he was comfortable, you would take the uncomfortable position. As long as he was being held, you would take the soreness it would leave. As long as you could help him be some sort of okay, you would take not being okay in this position.
 You two sat like that for a few more moments before your phone buzzed. You gave a sigh, pulling back and holding his cheeks in either hand. He wasn’t crying, although he was on the verge of doing so. You’d seen him cry before, so you knew he didn’t mind. For you it was a different story.
Bucky had maybe seen you cry twice since the whole Blip thing went down. And one of them was over the phone, so he didn’t see it so much as he heard it. You didn’t let yourself cry in front of him. Or anyone, for that matter. It was a part of you. The only person you ever felt comfortable enough around to cry in front of…wasn’t there. And you couldn’t change that.
“We’ll figure it out.” You told him, nodding gently and letting a small, sad smile quirk the corners of your lips up. “Okay? We’ll figure it out.”
The clench in his jaw loosened as your fingers worked circles into the hinge, making him relax and nod back. You pressed a tender kiss to his forehead before standing up, moving across the room to where your phone was on the counter. You assumed it’d be another government official or news reporter, so you were slightly shocked to see ‘Sammy’ flashing up at you.
Your eyebrows furrowed as you read his message, a slight pout forming on your face.
“Doll?” Toned arms wrapped around you, warm and cool, his chin setting on your shoulder. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s Sam. He needs my help with something.”
“I’m coming with you.”
You turned in his arms, eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Why?”
He shrugged, licking his lips. “You might need help.”
“Bucky, you can’t go if you’re just going to yell at him.”
“I won’t.”
You studied his features. He was lying, you knew that. Of course he was going to snap at Sam for giving up the shield. He was mad and they got on each others’ nerves every chance they could find, so of course he was going to.
But you still found yourself saying yes and telling him to go pack a bag. You were never able to say no to Steve and it seemed that got passed on. What a nuisance it was.
****************
And you were so right. It was the first thing he said once Sam came into view coming down the stairs.
“You shouldn’t have given up the shield, Sam.”
“James.” You squeezed the hand he was holding, voice pleading for him not to do this right now. He huffed, stepping back to let you greet Sam properly, giving the man a hug. “Hi, Sammy.”
“It’s been a while.” Sam commented, pulling back and holding you by the shoulders. “You look good. Not that you’ve ever looked otherwise.”
You gave him a small smile. “You do too.”
“Thanks for coming. I know it’s short notice, but-”
“It’s fine, Sam. Really.” You insist.
Sam nodded, before eyeing Bucky. “Did you have to bring him?”
“Samuel-”
“This is wrong.” Bucky cut in, staring Sam down, falling into step besides him as the man started heading outside.
“James-”
“Hey, hey. Look. I’m working, all right?”
You rolled your eyes as the two started arguing, stopping your stride to take a breather. You used to joke about babysitting them, but it didn’t feel like a joke anymore and you were getting tired of it. All the bickering for no reason. The contempt they held for one another. Steve made you promise that you would look out for them, and you were trying, but they weren’t making it easy.
When you joined them again, you raised an eyebrow at the direction the conversation turned. How the hell did they get from arguing about the shield to what a wizard is?
“Ahh! Haha! A sorcerer is a wizard without a hat!”
You gave Sam a look as he babbled about how he was right. “Sorcerer Mickey has a hat. Isn’t that, like, how he gets his powers and everything?”
Bucky grinned at you. “Thank you!”
“Excuse you!” Sam scoffed, pointing an accusing finger at you. “We were having a conversation!”
“Yeah. A stupid conversation I just ended. Now I’m gonna be in the plane. Feel free to join me when you’re done being idiots.”
They both spluttered, but you were already walking away, leaving no room for arguments. As you loaded onto the plane, you spotted the Lieutenant whom Sam mentioned who had been helping him out with missions. Torres, you thought, remembering his name from a previous phone call with your friend.
“You Lieutenant Torres?” You asked, walking up to him.
He blinked, before his eyes widened, a grin appearing on his face. He seemed young, which you were perfectly okay with considering you’ve been working alongside old men for the past decade. It was always nice to work with a fresh face, which you found after you started working with Wanda and Peter.
The thought of the two youngest members made you falter, not having heard from either of them since Christmas almost six months prior, but you quickly recovered yourself, shaking away the worries you had for them.
“You’re Y/N Y/L/N! I’m a huge fan! I’ve read all your files!”
Chuckling a little, you held out your hand. “Most of those are heavily classified.”
He ducked his head with a little blush, rubbing the back of his neck after shaking your hand. “I, uh, I might’ve…used connections.”
“It’s okay.” You reassured him, throwing him a wink. “I won’t tell. Can you tell me what’s going on? Sam didn’t exactly explain the situation.”
He nodded, getting into ‘work mode’, something you’ve seen in most military men, informing you of their recent missions and the group known as the Flag-Smashers and giving you a file on them. He was in the middle of telling you about his solo mission in Germany when your two fellas came in, sending each other small glares, but remaining quiet.
Bucky caught your eye and sent an apologetic look your way, to which you just smiled at before turning back to Torres.
“Well I’m glad you’re okay.” You told him once he was done.
“Oh yeah. It wasn’t that bad.”
You laughed and nodded. “I’m sure. You seem like a tough kid.”
He smiled, before looking around and jabbing his thumb behind his shoulder. “I-I’ve gotta go, but-”
“We can talk later.” You promised with a grin.
“Really?!”
“Of course! I have a feeling we’ll be working together more, and I like getting to know who’s gonna have my back.”
He beamed and nodded, walking backwards. “That’d be awesome! Talk to you later then!”
You giggled as he turned around and jogged off, pumping his fist in the air. You turned to a grinning Sam and nodded towards where Torres left. “I like him. Seems like a nice kid.”
“He is. Very energetic. A little reckless, but he’s got a good heart.”
You hummed, the smile falling from your face as you flipped through the file Torres gave you. “So…Munich?”
“Yeah. Listen, I’m sorry again for taking you away from the search, but-”
“Search is off.” You informed him quickly, not looking up. “Until further notice.”
The plane went quiet, before Sam cleared his throat. “So…no sign of Wanda yet, then?”
You shut the file, looking up at the men whose features were laced with concern. “I’m gonna go talk to the pilot. Behave while I’m gone. No pushing each other off the plane.”
“Doll?”
You were stopped by the hand that grabbed your wrist as you passed Bucky. You shot him another smile, knowing it wasn’t convincing enough for him, but it being the best one you had. “I’m okay. I’ve just gotta ask him some questions.”
************
Opening your mouth to stop him, you groaned when Bucky jumped out of the plane before you could speak. First Sam jumps without sharing the plan, then Bucky jumps without having a plan. Or a parachute. Or wings. Or anything.
Torres looked at you, but all you could do was shrug. “I dunno what to tell you, kid.”
“You’re not gonna do that, are you?”
“No.” You reassured him, shaking your head. “I’m gonna wait ‘til we land like a normal person and take my bike. I just have to pray that they’ll wait to do anything stupid until I get there.”
They didn’t wait. You’re pretty sure they didn’t even think about waiting. By the time you got to them, they were fighting - and losing, might you add - to six really strong people on top of two semi trucks.
Because why wouldn’t they?
Oh, oh. And on top of that, the fake was there, throwing the shield. The shield that didn’t belong to him. The shield that meant so much more than he would ever know.
“Hi, doll! Sorry we started the party without you!” Bucky shouted from where he was hanging off the edge, that close to the street and getting his head torn off by the tire.
“I’m so tired of babysitting you two, you know that?!”
“Oh! Sorry we’re such an inconvenience for you! Blame him! He jumped the gun!” Sam shouted, coming to fly next to you as you rolled up your sleeves, standing on your bike, using one hand to steer.
“Can I get a little help already?!”
“Sam-!”
“On it!”
Knowing that no matter how much they pissed each other off, Sam would make sure Bucky was okay and vice versa, you focused on getting to the top, where Walker and a buddy of his were struggling a little bit.
You climbed up to the roof of the semi no one was on, wincing when you heard your bike skidding across the pavement. There goes half your salary.
You couldn’t dwell on it for very long, considering one of the guys appeared in front of you. You recognized the fighting - the strength - and faltered, a memory resurfacing at a very bad time.
~
“C’mon, honey. You can do better than that.” Steve grinned at you, holding out a hand to help you up.
“Excuse me for not having super strength, Rogers.” You huffed out, taking it and letting him pull you up.
“You don’t need to be stronger than me. You just need to be smarter.”
“That’ll be easy.” You teased, stretching your arms before getting into your stance again. “You’re a dumbass sometimes.”
“Yeah, well, who chose to be friends with this dumbass?”
“Everyone needs a dumbass for a friend.”
He cocked an eyebrow. “So I’m your dumbass?”
“If you want.”
The grin he shot you made your heart skip a beat. “If you’ll have me.”
~
You blinked, but Steve wasn’t in front of you anymore and you weren’t in the gym in DC.
The guy caught the punch you distractedly threw and twisted your arm, making you cry out, kicking him in the back of the knee and flipping him over your shoulder.
You went to kick him again, but he caught your leg and threw you against the side of the other semi. You were able to grab onto where Bucky had ripped through the side, but you winced as the metal cut through your palm. Sam had just flown under the trucks, taking Buck with him, and you knew when a fight wasn’t worth it, so you quickly moved around the truck, letting Walker and his pal distract the Flag-Smashers, before letting yourself fall onto the side where the grass was.
You wanted to lay there, to catch your breath and curse yourself for getting distracted. You hadn’t had a flashback like that in a while. But you didn’t let yourself. You had to make sure the guys were okay.
Standing up made you cringe; you could feel the throbbing in your shoulder from where it was no doubt dislocated and your leg was aching, the muscle probably pulled when the guy threw you.
“Doll!” You turned, seeing Bucky and Sam sprinting towards you a few yards down the road. “Hey, hey.” Bucky immediately had his hands hovering over you, scanning your body. “Are you okay?”
You nodded, shoving his hands away. “I’m fine.”
“What’s wrong with your shoulder?”
“I think I dislocated it.”
Sam frowned. “What the hell happened?”
You gave him a weird look, starting to limp across the field to where you noticed a side road earlier. “They were super soldiers, Sam. And we got our asses kicked.”
“Yeah, but you know how to fight a super soldier-”
“It’s been a while.”
“Bullshit.” Sam side stepped in front of you, making you stop. “What happened?”
“I-I just got distracted, okay?”
“Y/N. Look at me.” Bucky took your face between his palms, eyes worried. “Are you okay?”
You nodded. A tired sigh left your lips and you looked anywhere but his eyes. “Yeah. I’m fine. Just hurting. My leg, I think I pulled it or something-”
“C’mere.” Bucky turned and crouched down, making you blink.
“What?”
“You shouldn’t be walking. We don’t wanna make it worse.”
“But it’s just a strain, it won’t-”
Sam rolled his eyes. “Just get on the man’s back, Y/N.”
You bit your lip before sighing and carefully climbing on his back. He shifted you gently, making sure to hold your leg with caution, leaning his head into yours when you hooked your chin on his shoulder. “You-you don’t have to talk about what happened. Just-just know that when you do…I’ll be here, okay?”
You nodded, moving to press your nose against the column of his throat. “Okay.”
But you could never tell them. How could you? How could you tell the world’s longest POW that you were having nightmares? How could you complain to an Air Force vet who served two tours in Afghanistan and watched his best friend get blown out of the air that you were having flashbacks?
You weren’t sure if it was PTSD or anxiety or depression. Maybe all three. It didn’t matter, though, because you didn’t want to admit it. You wouldn’t admit it. No one thought the Blip messed you up that badly. No one thought Steve leaving did that much damage. And you were okay with that. You were okay with them thinking you were healing - that you were fine - because they needed to see that it could be done. That they could be fine, too. Especially the men walking, Sam teasing Bucky per usual.
It wasn’t until a horn honked that you allowed yourself to be pulled out of your thoughts. A scoff left you when you realized who it was, switching the side you were laying on so your cheek pressed up against the cool metal of his left shoulder, facing away from the jeep.
You tried ignoring the guy as he talked about working together and shit, taking a shuddering breath, making Bucky squeeze your uninjured thigh. There was no way you were working with him. You couldn’t. It’d be like betraying Steve and you didn’t need that on top of all the other things you were dealing with.
You couldn’t deny the need for a ride though. The airport was 20 miles away and you were hurting pretty bad. You suspected that was the reason the guys relented, Bucky tenderly setting you down in the jeep between him and Sam, careful of your injuries.
You stared at your lap as Walker and Sam talked shop. You understood where they were coming from, you were always able to see both sides of the coin, but it didn’t mean you were going to willingly work with him.
“I got mad respect for all of y’all, but you were kind of getting your asses kicked till we showed up.”
You scoffed at that, finally raising your eyes to meet Walker’s friend’s. “Like you were doing any better?”
Bucky reached over to grab her hand that was resting on her lap. “You know, I’ve been trying to get in contact with you.” Walker faced you, eyes raking down your form. Bucky shifted in his spot, but you ran your thumb over his knuckles before he could do or say anything stupid.
“Yeah. I know. My phone hasn’t stopped blowing up for a week. Thanks for that, by the way.”
Walker frowned. “If you just answered-”
“I don’t care who you are. I don’t care what you’ve done. I’ve been a little busy doing my job to blow smoke up your ass on national television. Sorry if my saving people’s lives has been an inconvenience for you, but some wannabe playing dress up isn’t my top priority.”
Walker’s brows furrowed and he was about to say something, when Bucky cut in, asking his friend who he was. You were already that close to jumping out of the jeep, when the guy, Hoskins, told you three that he went by ‘Battlestar’.
If the situation wasn’t so aggravating, you would’ve laughed when Bucky immediately told the driver to stop, opening the door before the car even stopped. “C’mere, doll.” He murmured, lifting you up into his arms bridal style, before walking off, tuning out Walker as he shouted after you two.
You pouted a little when you saw Sam still talking to the guy. “What’re they talking about, Buck?”
“Some nonsense about him not replacing Steve. Just trying to be the best Captain America he can.”
You laid your head against Bucky’s chest. “The best Captain America is Steve. He can never be Steve.”
“I know, doll.”
“Steve told me once that all he was trying to do was be a good man…it’ll always amaze me that he didn’t see he was the best.”
You missed the distraught look Bucky shot towards you, the look in his eyes almost heartbroken while you talked fondly about his best friend. The tortured scrunch to his features seemed to melt away at your next words, though, and he held you tighter as you curled into his hold.
“Just like it amazes me that you don’t know how important you are to me too, Buckaroo.”
« Insecure S/O Reacting to a Confession 2
part 1 here
format: scenarios
genre: fluff
- includes: Iwaizumi, Tendou, and Matsukawa
---------------------------------------------------
Iwaizumi Hajime
The sun wasn’t helping his flared cheeks in any way.
“Stop interfering.”
“Stop stalling then.” Oikawa grins, rubbing his best friend’s shoulders as if he were about to enter a boxing ring. The dark haired ace rubs his eyes in irritation with one hand, ignoring the flare against his cheeks as Iwaizumi attempts to shake his childhood friend off. The sight of you kneeled down in the school garden, hair pinned back away from your face as you tended to the flowers, made the heat surge through Iwa’s cheeks even more.
“I’m not.”
“Really? Because every day you approach her creepily from some distance, and then disappear. C’mooon, I already owe Hiro like fifteen bucks-”
“You’re betting on this, shithead?”
“Nope.” The answer comes out a little too quickly as Oikawa dodges a second swat. “She’s so pretty I might have to approach her myself-”
“Not another word.” Iwa grits out, Oikawa slightly smirking at the tick in his jaw and the way his onyx eyes harden. “I just...don’t wanna mess this up.”
“There’s nothing to mess up until you confess. Ah, young love.” Oikawa sighs dreamily, Iwaizumi ignoring his dramatic friend’s swoon before making a decision. Today was the day.
You wipe sweat from your forehead, attempting to ignore the beating sun down on your face as you tried to hurry the process a long, ensuring the flowers were getting just enough water. The touch of an icy can of tea against your cheek startles you, almost making you drop the watering pot before you hold a hand up against the bright sun rays, tilting your head in confusion at the broad-shouldered man in front of you.
“Iwaizumi?” You smile in greeting as Iwaizumi shuffles his feet, breath catching in his throat at the sight. He was so screwed.
You laugh a bit awkwardly, the cold touch of the can beginning to numb. “Um, is this for me?”
“Yes.” He curses himself at how stern it comes out, but you gently take the can from his grasp, nodding in thanks. “I-I know you like this one.”
“You do?”
“No.” He didn’t want to sound creepy, yet somehow made it worse.
“Oh.”
Iwaizumi was ready to kick himself. He was hoping you would understand, the day you shyly maneuvered your way through Oikawa’s fanclub to get to him to offer him an ice cold drink was the reason he became so infatuated in the first place.
“Well, thanks for the tea-”
“I like you.”
This time, you do drop the watering pot, eyes widening like a deer caught in the headlights as Iwa’s heart sinks at your reaction.
“I get it, alright?” You mumble, sadness swimming in your stomach as Iwaizumi fought the need to dart off. “You’re the handsome volleyball ace all the girls want, and they put you up to ask me out as a joke again. It’s getting old.”
Ah.
Iwaizumi sighs, knowing that the other girls preyed on you for your beauty and soft heart, finding ways to hurt you in the most immature ways possible.
“Oi.” His heart tightens at the look of sorrow on your face, making him click his tongue before reaching a hand out before he can stop himself, smudging his thumb along the streak of dirt on your cheek. You look up at him in a doe-like manner, and your wet eyes are enough to make the ace want to hurt anyone who ever made you feel this way.
“I’m not kidding.”
“Iwa-”
“Hajime.” He cuts you off, hiding a smirk when he feels the heat rush to your cheeks. “You can call me Hajime. Only you.”
“Hajime.” you try it out, clapping your hand over your mouth once in shyness as Iwaizumi smiles a genuine grin, elated when you shy away into his touch.
“Then...please take care of me.” You manage, condensation running down to your other hand holding the can as Iwaizumi slips it out of your grasp, taking a heavy sip of it before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
“I finished this one. Can I take you to a cafe?”
“I’d love that.” You slip your gardening gloves off, Iwa slipping his hand into yours casually as you trail behind him, smiling when his grip tightens ever so slightly.
Surprisingly, the sun suddenly didn’t feel too hot today.
Tendou Satori
“Today’s the day fellas!”
“Oh, is it?” Shirabu mocks his surprise. “It’s not like you put ‘ask y/n’ out in huge block letters on our team calendar or anything.”
“Bingo!” Tendou points finger guns at his teammate as Semi shrugs at a disgruntled Shirabu. “I’m about to get myself a Miss Tendou Satori-”
“That’s not how that works-”
“Hush, Ushijima. Your logic won’t ruin my day today.” Tendou bounces on the balls of his feet, waiting for practice to let out as he tugs his last shoe on, his other teammates still in the process of changing.
“Is she waiting for you?” Semi tugs his shirt overhead as Tendou hums happily in answer, Shirabu snarkily making a remark from the other side of the locker room.
“She’s out of your league.”
“I know she is! Which is why I’m going to treat her like the queen she is, since I myself am but a lowly peasant beneath her-” Tendou perks up at the time. “Gotta go, I’ll text you the outcome boys.”
“Please don’t.”
“Tendou-senpai-” But the redhead had already darted through the door as Ushijima glances at his worried kouhai, tilting his head in question.
“What, Goshiki?”
“Isn’t Y/N L/N the one who had that mean prank pulled on her last year?”
You bit the inside of your cheek as you rocked on the balls of your feet, fidgeting with the ends of your skirt as you wait for the rambunctious redhead on the volleyball team. No way a cute guy like him was actually-
“Did I make ya wait long?” A pair of sneakers appear in your view, making you lift your head as Tendou Satori casts you a wide grin, school shoes hanging in his other hand. You tilt your head, wondering if he rushed here.
“Did you need something from me, senpai?” You blink, swinging your legs lightly on the bench you were sitting on, fearing the worst. Tendou clears his throat, suddenly feeling the nervousness he had been outrunning catch up to him. He can’t mess this up. Ever since you had adorably asked him to reach something for you at the snack shop for the school, he hasn’t been able to get you off his mind. He made sure to wait around during the same time during lunch hour, your usual snack already in hand and plucked off the highest shelf.
“Go out with me.”
You flinch. There it was.
His smile fades slowly with every beat of silence that soaks in the atmosphere between the two of you, and you swallow back a sob.
“How much are they giving you to do this?”
Tendou’s shoes hit the floor, his eyes blinking rapidly in confusion as you refuse to meet his questioning gaze.
“What?”
“I um, can help you if you want. Go out with you for a few days so they really believe-”
“Hey, hey!” Tendou’s arms begin to flail around as he shakes his head no. “I mean it Y/N, you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever met. I really wanna date you for real-”
“You do?”
Tendou’s chest felt heavier at the crack in your voice and insecurity swirling in your eyes, and he nods his head, kneeling in front of you carefully before asking to take your hands with his eyes.
“I 100% do. You can strip me of my honor if I’m lying.”
This makes you crack a smile, making Tendou breathe out a sigh of relief through his nose. He thumps his forehead against yours, making your eyes glint in a way they haven’t in awhile.
“Can this lowly senpai please take you out on a date this weekend?”
“No, my lowly senpai cannot.” You say, turning your palms over so he can hold them properly. Tendou quirks an eyebrow, but he’s slightly smirking as you offer a shy smile.
“But my boyfriend can.”
Matsukawa Issei
“You’re staring again, ya creep.”
“I think the term you’re looking for is skillful admiring-”
“Just ask her out.” Hanamaki yawns, getting comfy on his best friend’s desk as Matsukawa leans into his palm, eyeing the way you pout when your friends steal your snacks. So cute. “What’s the worst she’s gonna do, say no?”
“Yes.” Matsukawa sighs, hanging his head slightly as Hanamaki arches a brow, crossing his arms in pure amusement.
“Wow, Matsukawa Issei hung up over a girl?”
“Who the hell is hung up-”
Hanamaki arches a brow when his friend visibly tenses up, looking over only to smirk when he sees another boy in class shyly offer up his pocky to you, you gladly accepting and smiling widely in thanks. Issei rests his head on the desk, stubbornly looking out the window as Hanamaki withholds a laugh over the hold you have over your classmate.
“Oh just ask her out.” Hanamaki uncaps his drink. “You’re so into her dude, it’s making me sick.”
Issei shifts in his seat. Maybe his adoration for you wouldn’t have begun if it hadn’t been for the way your much shorter legs pumped to catch up to his figure, who had pretty much reached his home.
“Matsukawa-san!” You had gasped for breath, the messy-haired boy guiltily slipping his headphones off at how tired you seemed. Before he could profusely apologize, you shoved his notes in his hand, bright hue to his cheeks at the act of kindness.
“Um, you left this in the library!” you manage out, Matsukawa seeming to freeze in the moment. “I added some notes in there, I hope you don’t mind. It seemed kinda empty-”
“You wrote notes for me?” He finds his voice again, cursing himself at that being the first thing that came out.
“I was bored during free time anyways.” You scratched the back of your head before turning on your heel again. “Anyways, bye!”
And then you darted off again as Matsukawa Issei stayed still in his spot, wondering just why the hell his heart was beating at the pace it was going, colorful notes hanging from his grasp.
“I’m gonna do it.” Hanamaki almost falls off the desk at Matsukawa’s revelation and the way he suddenly stood up. “I could kiss you right now, Makki.”
“I’m praying to god, please don’t.”
You lean against the shoe lockers, humming to yourself as you wonder just what your classmate would need from you, figuring he wanted to properly thank you for the notes. You would accept it and go, knowing that Matsukawa Issei was favored among the girls-
“You’re here.”
“This.” You smile softly, holding up a folded note between your fingers as Matsukawa shoves his hand in his slack pockets, suddenly feeling embarrassed. “This made it hard for me not to be, you know?”
You eye him carefully, stomach sinking at the familiar situation in front of you.
“You might have already guessed,” Issei breathes, trying to steady the pounding in his ears. “Or Makki might have already told you because he’s a shithead like that-”
You tilt your head.
“-but I’ve got this killer crush on you. And if you could help me out, I would thoroughly appreciate it.” It comes out business-like, and you almost laugh if it hadn’t been for the weight in your throat.
“Help you out how?” He doesn’t notice the crack in your voice as he pulls his sleeves up to his forearms, swallowing tightly.
“I think a date would begin to ease the pain.”
You really do laugh this time, but it’s not the kind of laugh of amusement. It’s forced, awkward, and makes Issei falter in his smile and movements.
“Do they ever get bored?”
All playfulness drains from the middle blocker’s face as his tone hardens. “What are you talking about?”
“Sure, get the hot guy from the volleyball team to try and ask Y/N out, are you getting it on video?”
“Y/N-”
“I’ve gotta go.” you try to step away, eyes widening when he stops you with his much bigger frame. His lidded eyes widen at the tears prodding the corner of your eyes, carefully lifting a hand to swipe at them before looking at you seriously.
“You think I’m hot?”
You can’t withhold the giggle that escpaes you, sniffling slightly as Matsukawa smiles gently, wrapping his arm around you to touch the small of your back. You yelp a little when you find yourself crushed against his chest, your upper back touching the lockers.
“I don’t know what the hell happened to you in the past, but-” you look up at the handsome tall boy you had hand-written notes for, hoping your crush on him wasn’t too noticeable. “I can tell you right now that you’re really fuckin’ pretty, and I want to brag to my friends about how hot my girlfriend is-”
“Do you ever stop talking?” You cup his cheek in question as his grin widens.
“Make me your boyfriend and I’ll show you.” He winks, and you raise both eyebrows in amusement before practically speaking against his lips.
“I think we can arrange that.”
“Seth? Right? C’mon in. Your brother told you who I am? Good. Want a beer?... Here you go. Let’s go out to the back deck. The sun went down, and the cool evening air is starting to kick in. Have a seat…. Ok. Seth, do you know why you are here? Let me be blunt. Your brother David owes me a lot of money. A lot. He’s been doing jobs for me that I need someone I can trust to do. But that’s barely covering the interest. I told him he needs to start working down the principal. So, he offered me… you….
“That’s right he sold you to me. You are going to whore off his debt…. Shut the fuck up. The deal is set. Have some more beer; it will help you to deal with what I need to go over with you….
“Your brother probably told you that I am a powerful man. Hopefully he didn’t tell you what I did. I will share with you one part of my business that you will be a part of. I have several whore agencies across several states. They ain’t like the whorehouses in the movies. The girls never see money; they show up at a set time and do whatever the man wants. They do not say no. They get to live in city, and they show their clients the best the city has to offer. They have everything paid for and get a nice credit card too.
“A few years ago—hell it’s more like ten or so, —I was convinced to do the same but on the fag side. Now, I knew nothing about fag sex, and it disgusted me. Once I got over the visuals, the business was just like the girls. The difference I found out was that I had to have two sets of whores—fag boys like yourself, and men old enough to be your father.
“It was Frankie, one of my goons, who told me that there is a lot money to be made by men taking the dominant role. I didn’t believe it. So, he arranged for me to watch him from a distance him work over this faggot. He didn’t tell me how much he was earning. When I saw this fag hand over three hundred bucks, I knew I needed to get into this. I mean my guy did barely anything other than smack the fag around, call him names, and sit on the faggot’s face at the end. That fag ate that fat ass while pounding its pud. Frankie even went over to the fag’s wallet and took an additional hundred out of it. And wouldn’t you know, that fag boy was loving life.
“Needless to say, that was how I got into the fag whoring business. I had Frankie lead it; he even got somewhat in shape, and now he’s my most popular whore men. Wait a minute, you know him. He fucked you behind a dumpster in the alley behind that fag bar a couple weeks ago. When I saw you at David’s birthday partner at my tavern and he told me that you were his sperm burping brother, I sent Frankie to find out more about you. I know that you can take a good pounding, face slaps, rough housing. Frankie also told me that you cleaned off his cock after we was done and that you drank his piss. You even begged him for more as he walked away from you, naked covered in piss behind the dumpster. That’s all I needed to hear.
“After meeting with your brother, all I had to do was press the massive debt. I knew how self-serving he was. He sold you out so fucking fast. And now I own you. Now strip faggot….
“You do realize who I am? No one ever disobeys one of my direct commands. Now think about your next move real carefully. STRIP YOU FUCKING FAGGOT. Take your time standing up. That drug I put in your beer will make you kinda dizzy if you stand too fast. Yeah, I didn’t want you to run back to your car. Kid, when you came in that door, you were mine. That’s it. Accept your fate. Good boy.
“Yeah, after Frankie roughed up that fag, I was curious. He arranged for me to use one of his regulars who was blindfolded. It was so much fun to kick and punch that faggot only to have him crawl to me, begging for more. With each time, I got more wicked, and they wanted more. I had a few fags over the years locked up and had the best of all worlds. My wife provides me with companionship. My girlfriend offers sensual making love and snuggling. And my faggot takes all my rage filled abuse.
“Underwear needs to go too. Let’s see what you have. Not bad. Looks like you are excited about being naked in front of me. That’s a lot of pre-cum. Decent sized balls. I’d say you are about six inches long. The shaft is a bit thin, but the head is good size. Your foreskin is not too long. That’s good. If there’s going to be one sweaty stinky dick around here, it will be mine. If yours becomes a problem, we’ll get you circumcised.
“What? Faggot, you are nothing more to me than my pickup. If I want to modify you out, I sure as hell am going to. I modify all my property. Tattoos, piercing, permanent hair removal, castration, branding, and so on. But actually, I am a bit cautious. I made the mistake of castrating a fag and regretted it afterwards. He just didn’t seem right to me. The cutter I went to tried to put in fake balls, but it still didn’t seem right. I ended up replacing that fag with another.
“I am looking for my perfect fag. I’m planning on letting my girlfriend go, but sometimes I need that close touch. Not going to do that with my wife. Every day now I realize that I want to be with faggots over women. Faggots are so much easier to mold into what I want. And every now and then I might snuggle with one.
“I like what I see. I want to see your cumload. Jerk off for me. I’ll give you a few minutes to do so. When you do, shoot in your spare hand. I want to see the quantity. I’m going to get your collar; it’s probably done charging. I’m also going to take your car keys. You ain’t going anywhere. Continue jacking….
“….Did you cum? You did! Good fag. When was the last time you came? Yesterday morning? Well that’s a good load. Here, lock this collar around your neck. Ok, so here’s the deal. You can jack off as often as you like, whenever you like as long as I am not using you. If I catch you jacking off, don’t stop. If you are watching porn, continue. But know this, no matter if you haven’t cum in days or you just had a massive orgasm, should I require your use, I fully expect 100% horniness and enthusiasm.
“This remote is hooked up to your collar. With this button… you fall to the floor just like that. Hurt’s like a mother fucker hunh? That’s on low. Remember that. It is also set up to shock you should you cross a 20-foot perimeter of the house. I am notified by an app on my phone when you do something that stupid. Also, the garage and my office on the third floor are completely off limits. You will not fare well should you cross that threshold without me.
“Bring your cock over here. Is your dick head sensitive. It is! Fuck yes! As you get soft, it’s driving you crazy. Good. Good. I see a problem here. Your pubic hair is all over the place. You shouldn’t have hair down here. Look how long this hair is. There’s enough so that I can twirl a bunch around my finger. With a firm yank,… it comes out in one clump. Aww shut the fuck up. Most of the time your screams of pain will turn me on, but now it’s just annoying. Another clump on the other side, and it doesn’t even look like you lost any.
“Look at me faggot. Say ‘Thank you.’ Good fag. Open your mouth. Here eat your pubic hair. Go on chew it. Nasty? I know, now swallow. And here’s… another bunch. Swallow these…. And these… And these… You’ll be permanently shaved in the near future so you won’t have to do much pubic hair eating.
“While you finish your snack, let me take you around the place and show you your duties. This is the kitchen. David told me that you went to culinary school but then dropped out. Well, you will be doing all the cooking here. Cleaning too.
“Let’s go downstairs…. This is your room, although you really don’t have privacy. Over there is your cot. Next to it is the plug you will put into your collar every night. I am notified on my app should the power level drop below 75%. That’s equivalent for not charging for a full week. Unless I just slam you with shocks, I should never get one of those notifications.
“You have a wash basin there, and your toilet is there. There’s your douche hose over there in the shower. No, I haven’t gotten around to buying it a toilet seat; the cold porcelain is fine. And I haven’t hooked up the hot water down here.
“Let’s go up to the Master bedroom…. You never climb into my bed unless I invite you in. In fact no non-sexual furniture for you either without permission. Through that door is the master bath. You will keep this place spotless. That includes licking clean my toilet. The rimseat next to it is when I want to make you toilet paper or a full toilet.
“And here’s the playroom. It’s totally soundproofed. You are going to suffer a lot in here. Screaming is encouraged. In fact, what time is it? Seven. Well we might as well start now. Get on all fours—knees and elbows. Spread those knees wide. Every night you will present yourself in this position, as you will every morning.
“Don’t get too excited. I am going to fuck you good, long, and deep. But that won’t until the end. We got a long way to go. You see, the only people who knows my affinity for preferring the boys to the girls are Frankie, me, and now you. Your brother thinks I’m adding you to my harem of fags. This is something that cannot get out. And if it does, I will know it came from you, and I want you to know the perpetual hell that will come your way.
“Tonight is a test of what you can expect, but keep in mind, tonight’s suffering will be only five hours long, much shorter than what will be if my preference is ever widely known.
“And after the paddling your ass to a welted mess, whipping your back until it turns to bloody hamburger, kicking your balls until they are swollen to twice their size, bruising up your face, and fucking you with very little lube, I may feel the need to snuggle up with you afterwards.
“But first, there’s a lot to do before we do that. Oh look your balls are just ripe for a good old fashioned full-force kick. Every night and every morning you will get one to always remind you what you are.
“Faggot right now with this kick your hell begins.”
Ghostface: Mayans Version
Tumblr media
This is the Mayans Version of my Sons of Anarchy Ghostface from last year. It will be one of the starter stories for the choose your own adventure that drops on 10/31. As always 18+ Smut below
Tumblr media
“Your package is here” called EZ with a smirk and laugh as he tossed a box to Bishop. “Don’t start boy” replied Bishop sternly as he caught the box. “I’m not” replied EZ as he held his hands up innocently. “Just saying when you tell me you’re having weird role paly stuff sent to my house cause you’re an ancient relic with a 20 something girlfriend….. I get to have a little fun” he replied as he dodged away as Bishop tried to hit him. “Is that jealousy I hear Boy Scout? Old man is tapping what the young buck swung out and missed on? Replied Bishop with a laugh as EZ rolled his eyes and flipped him off. “Don’t have a heart attack tonight “called EZ as Bishop got his bike to head home.
*
“Hello Corazon” called Bishop as he walked into the kitchen where you were cooking. “Hey babe! Dinners almost done” you replied turning to him as you finished stirring the soup on the stove. “Smells good. I’m going to clean up real quick” he replied before heading off down the hall. A few minutes later you were turning the stove off when you heard Bishop urgently call your name.
“Bishop?” you called as you pushed your bedroom door open confused at the emptiness. Before you could turn around you were pulled back against a hard body causing you to scream before you felt the cold metal of a knife at your throat. Adrenaline coursed through you as you stood locked in place. “Shh mi amor. I won’t hurt you. Do as I say and you will be fine” murmured a voice you barely recognized as your old mans in your ear. The grip on you loosened as you were turned to face him. Your eyes fell on the ghostface mask and you felt heat course through you. “Strip” ordered Bishop as he trailed the knife from your throat down your chest and stomach causing you to shiver. Your hands shook with anticipation as you ripped your clothes off.
Several minutes later you were on your knees, hands tied behind your back with his belt. Bishop was roughly thrusting into your mouth as he gripped your hair in one hand forcing you to look up at his masked face. The fabric of the black robe he wore billowed around you with each snap of his hips as he slid himself further down your throat. He loved how your makeup ran down your face as tears poured from your shining eyes, your gorgeous lips puffy and wrapped around his cock as you sucked the soul out of him. You squirmed and whined as you watched him tilt his head back as he moaned as he continued his assault on your mouth. Trying to get Bishops attention that you needed him between your thighs you gently bit down. You let out a yelp at the sharp sting to your cheek from his slap. “Mi amor” he warned as he stilled inside your mouth. He had both hands on the back of your head pulling you onto his thick length as he watched you struggle to breathe around him. When your vision started to tunnel he pulled out.
You gasped trying to suck air into your starved lungs before you felt his roughed grip on your arms as he yanked you up and pushed your top half roughly onto the bed. You stilled and let out a little moan as you felt the cold metal of the knife slide slowly through your slick folds. “So wet for me corazon” purred Bishop as he tossed the knife to the side and slid two fingers into you making you jump. “Bishop” you moaned as you pushed back on him to get more friction. “So eager to be fucked by a killer.” Chuckled Bishop as he brought his other palm down onto your ass making you jump and clench around his fingers. Bishop pulled his fingers from you causing you to pout at the loss of sensation. “Please” you begged as you tried to wiggle back but were stilled by another smack to your ass. “Is this what you want?” teased Bishop as he slid his tip through your wet folds before pulling away. “Yes” you replied eagerly as you tried to stay still. “Yes what?” asked Bishop. “Yes daddy. Please fuck me” you replied knowing what he wanted. Without hesitation Bishop thrusted into you all at once as he gripped your hips hard enough to bruise. “Bishop “you moaned as he thrusted into you at a relentless pace, burying himself deeper and deeper into you with every thrust. You were an incoherent mess as your eyes rolled back as he hit that sweet spot over and over bringing you to the edge. “Come now” ordered Bishop as he felt you start to clench around him tighter as he delivered another sharp stinging slap to your ass. You screamed through your release as you gushed around him, Bishop kept his pace up for another moment before he came deep inside of you. After a moment of catching your breaths Bishop slipped his mask off, leaning down to kiss the small of your back before undoing his belt. “Good girl” he murmured as he rubbed your stiff arms and pulled out of you. “Clean her up when you’re done” you heard Bishop state before you felt yourself get turned over on the bed. “Have fun Corazon” called Bishop before leaving the room as another Ghostface climbed on top of you.
Hey! Can I request a Bucky x Reader where Bucky gets hurt during a mission and the reader is there to take care of him? Maybe he’s caught of guard by this because he hasn’t had someone take care of him in a long time? Feel free to do whatever you want with this!! Thank you so much and I can’t wait to read it 💕
Bucky Barnes x Reader
A/N Thanks so much for the request @thighs-of-betrayal-blog this was so fun to write! Sorry it took so long! I swear every time I get the motivation to write my life gets crazy. But here it is, hopefully it’s a little bit what you hoped for and if it isn’t I hope you enjoy it anyways haha 💜
Warnings: FLUFFY FLUFF; angst if you squint; very very brief canon level violence; a minute of mutually pining idiots
Word count: approx 2.3k
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader (he uses the endearment “doll” but other than that reader is gender neutral)
Why Do You Care?
“Bucky stop being so stubborn and let me see!”
You were standing in the living room of the safe house Bucky had dragged you into, hands on your hips glaring down at the super soldier on the couch. He was avoiding your gaze, staring a hole in the wall to your left, and had his arms folded across his chest. He looked to you more like a pouting child than a 100+ year old ex-assassin/current Avenger and if you weren’t so frustrated with him you’d probably giggle at the sight.
The mission had been a success. Sort of. You and Bucky had been sent in to steal sensitive files from an abandoned Hydra base. Which you managed to do. But it ended up being less than abandoned and without any backup the fight out was a rough one. Just as the two of you were finally getting out, covered in blood and bruises, Bucky had grabbed your arm and shoved you into a crouch, bending himself over you protectively as a shot rang out. He grunted out in pain and you leaned around his frame to send a bullet straight into the skull of the Hydra agent who’d been stupid enough not to stay down. You’d tried, then, to make sure Bucky was okay but he wasted no time in hauling you back up and out into the night. His hand slipped down your arm to clasp yours and he didn’t let go until you were safely within the walls of the safe house. The more the two of you had run the more obvious it became that he was hurt but he ignored you asking about it.
Now that he’d made sure the safe house was secure and reported back to Steve what had happened and where you were, he couldn’t avoid you anymore. But he could ignore you and he was trying his damnedest to do so.
“M’fine.” He grumbled at you for probably the third time in as many minutes, shifting to turn his injured side away from you as if that would make you go away.
“Bucky I know you’re not fine so why won’t you just let me see so I can help?” The cuteness of his pout was wearing off as your patience was wearing thin. “Do you not trust me or something??”
Bucky’s eyes snapped up to yours then, his heart rate rising as he saw the concern there. He did trust you. More than he trusted himself most days. Hell he was in love with you. But you were way too good for him, too full of light, and you’d never be interested in someone like him. He’d only ruin you anyways. But when he looked into your eyes he couldn’t stand the flash of hurt he saw when you asked that question.
“Course I do doll...I trust ya...” his voice was hoarse and he tried taking a deep breath to clear his throat but it sent pain shooting through him and he groaned, pressing his hand to the still bleeding wound in his side.
“Buck....” your tone was softer now as you took a step closer. You thought for a second that he was going to let you check on his injury but the moment your hands reached for him he shot up, ignoring the pain, and pushed past you into the bathroom while mumbling about not needing help.
You roll your eyes and sigh as the bathroom door slams shut behind him. Ever since you’d met the quiet soldier when he joined the Avengers he’d swung back and forth between pushing you away and pulling you in closer. He always volunteered to be partnered with you and you worked well together but he’d refuse to spar with you. He liked helping you cook for team dinners but always declined your invitations to go out for lunch. During movie nights he only ever sat beside you or, if someone beat him there, he’d sit on the floor and lean against your legs even if there was an empty seat by someone else, but he wouldn’t join you when you were binge watching your favourite show alone. You couldn’t figure him out but the more you tried to the more you fell for him. It had been agony for you to want him knowing he could never see you as more than a teammate and friend. Regardless of how many times his behaviour had made it clear he wasn’t interested in you that way, you couldn’t help it. You loved him. And if that remained unrequited the rest of your life then so be it, you were that gone for him.
And so, despite his insistence that he didn’t need your help, you found yourself trailing after him towards the bathroom. You pressed your ear to the door and could hear him shuffling around, pulling out a first aid kit, and then gasping in obvious pain.
“Bucky? Open the door and let me in? Please? I want to help...I want to take care of you, you just have to let me....” you pause, waiting for a response, and notice that all the sounds on the other side of the door have ceased.
“Buck? Please, I care about you...let me...” your voice is lower, almost a whisper now, and you wait another few painfully silent seconds before hearing a long sigh from the other side of the door. When it cracks open, your eyes meet his piercingly blue ones and you nearly crumble at the uncertainty you see there.
“Can I come in, Buck?” You ask gently and he hesitates for only a second before nodding and opening the door wider. You step inside and motion for him to sit on the edge of the counter for you and he quickly obeys.
“You’re gonna have to take your shirt off for me to see, Buck.” You say gently, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. He grunts in acknowledgement and begins pulling his black tee up, hissing as he raises his arms causing a tug to his injury. Without a second thought, you reach forward and help maneuver his shirt the rest of the way off, dropping it to the side as he brings his arms back down. As other times in the past when you’ve seen him shirtless, you can’t help but let your eyes travel across his firm chest and toned abdomen, drinking him in until you raise your eyes to his and realize he’s watching you. You quickly avert your gaze, your ears burning at having been caught ogling him, so you miss the way his lips curl into a smirk. Focusing your attention onto his side you gasp at the large gash there still slowly leaking blood.
“Not that bad, doll.”
“James Buchanan Barnes! Just because its not life-threatening does not mean that it’s ‘not that bad’. Dammit Buck why wouldn’t you let me help you take care of this as soon as we got here?!” You huff as you grab some antibacterial cloths and begin cleaning the wound, ignoring his hiss as you do so.
“M’sorry, doll...it’s just...haven’t really had anyone take care of me in...well since before the war to be honest. Got used to taking care of myself...used to not having anyone care.” Bucky’s voice is barely a whisper and you have to strain to listen to him. He’s never been so vulnerable with you and you want to make the most of however long he’s going to let this moment last. When its clear he’s waiting for you to say something you reach one hand up to softly cup his cheek and turn him to face you.
“I care. I care so much, Buck. You just have to let me.” You try to put all your emotions into your gaze, desperate for him to see that he doesn’t have to be alone and that he is loved and cared about. He sighs and leans into your hand more, raising his own to rest on your hip.
“Why?”
He spoke so quietly you’re not sure you heard him and raise an eyebrow to ask him to repeat himself, too afraid of breaking the spell that seems to have fallen over the two of you to speak.
“Why do you care so much, doll? Why me? I’m not...I’m not worth it.”
This is it. The chance to tell him how you feel. If he rejects you that’s fine, you decide. Even if he doesn’t return your feelings at least he will know that he is loved and that’s enough for you right now. Your heart feels like it may burst as you weigh your response carefully.
“You, Bucky, are so worthy of all the care in the world. You went through hell and back a million times over and came out the other side a kind, thoughtful, sweet, considerate, gentle, loving man. The world tried to break all of that out of you but you are too strong and too GOOD. The world owes you and if I could wrap up all the love that exists in it and give it to you I would. But I’ve only got mine so that’s what I’ll give you.”
Dropping your hand from his face to his shoulder, you hold your breath as Bucky’s eyes stare into yours as though searching for something. He tightens his grip on your waist, before finally breaking the heavy silence, his voice at least an octave lower.
“You’ll....give me...your love...?” Bucky is the strongest man you know and yet you have never heard him sound so timid and unsure in all the time you’ve known him. He looks so hopeful and scared and you can’t help the confession bursting from your lips.
“Yes Bucky! I will. I already have. It’s yours. I-I love you.” You take a deep breath before continuing, rambling now. “And I don’t expect to you to return my feelings and I hope I haven’t ruined our friendship because that would just kill me nothing has to change between us I just needed you to know that—mmph—“
You’re cut off by Bucky’s lips connecting with yours, his hands cupping your face, thumbs rubbing gently across your cheekbones. The kiss is gentle, careful, almost tentative at first. But then your arms snake around his neck and one of his hands makes its way into your hair and it becomes passionate and desperate. Bucky pulls you between his thighs so you are flush against him and the feeling of his taut muscles against you makes you moan. Your hands lift to tangle in his hair and tug gently as he runs his tongue along your bottom lip, practically begging for entrance which you immediately grant. He growls into the kiss as he explores every inch of your mouth with his tongue, his hands roaming all across your body, pulling you impossibly closer as you arch into him needing to feel him. He stands suddenly, pushing you back a couple of steps until you are pinned between his body and the wall. You gasp for air and he moves his lips along your jaw, down your neck, and then back up to press another searing kiss against your lips before resting his forehead against yours as he tries to catch his own breath. Your chests rise and fall together and he rubs his nose against yours before placing another tender, gentle kiss on the corner of your mouth.
“Sorry....couldn’t help myself...” Bucky manages to tell you between gasps for air.
“Never apologize for THAT...” you giggle and the vibrations of his chuckle against your chest make you feel lightheaded as he leans back to look you in the eye, cupping your cheek tenderly.
“I love you.” He sounds sure. Confident. Like nothing in the world could be more true than that statement. You can’t help the ridiculously giddy grin that splits your face as you tug his face back to yours for another kiss, which he smiles into.
Once you come down from your highs a little bit you manage to coax him back to his spot on the counter and you continue cleaning his injury and stitching him up though it takes much longer now as Bucky keeps distracting you. He plants kisses to your nose, your shoulder, your neck, your cheek, your forearm, basically any part of you that comes close enough to his lips. When you finally finish, you let your hands run along his muscles as you rub your nose against his and kiss him deeply, gently biting his bottom lip eliciting a sound from him that turns your insides completely upside down.
Before you can say or do anything else, the front door opens with a crash and Bucky grabs you and shoves you behind him protectively as he peeks out into the front room to assess the threat.
“Dammit punk! What’re you breaking down the door for?! I thought you were a hostile! Why didn’t you just call and say you were here??!” You sigh in relief at Bucky’s nickname for Steve and move to peer over his shoulder at the Captain as the two super soldiers glare at each other.
“I’ve been calling for several minutes! You didn’t answer! I thought you were in danger, jerk!”
“Sorry, Steve! We were...distracted. Bucky needed stitches.” You quickly apologize and give an excuse in case Bucky isn’t comfortable saying anything yet since you hadn’t exactly taken the time to talk yet. But he just turns to face you and smirks as he tugs you to him for one more kiss before reaching around you to grab his shirt and pull it on.
“Ya. We were pretty damn distracted. Didn’t really appreciate the interruption, punk!” Bucky chuckles and can’t help the grin that has been plastered on his face since you told him you love him. Your cheeks flush as he puts an arm around your shoulder, guiding you to Steve who is looking between you and Bucky with a happy, almost proud, look on his face.
“It’s about damn time, you two! Now, who made the first move? I need to know if I owe Sam $50 or not.”
I have had a few bucky x read fic ideas bouncing around in my head and i cant write! So here is one,
Sam find a person who stairs and doesnt talk a whole lot because they uses ✨telepathy ✨. So Sam think they would be a good fit for Bucky, but he doesn’t know they have that power he just thinks they are mute. Then there is a thing where the reader is telling Buck how it works and they if they have something to connect them together like an object *reader motions to dog tags* they can have an unbreakable mind link. Then they fall in love or something. This is dumb, thank you for coming to my TedTalk
Hey! Thank you so much for this request, it wasn't dumb at all. I really enjoyed writing this. I may have gotten a bit carried away, this may sit close to 4000 words but we vibe. I hope this is what you had in mind! Please enjoy! <3
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bucky had been enjoying a moments peace, he loved working with Sam but sometimes all he wanted was to put his feet up, put on some vinyl and enjoy a good cup of coffee all while reading a brilliant book. He had been trying to get into Game of Thrones lately, on Sam’s insistence, and he had been enjoying it. With the crackles of Glenn Miller from the turntable he missed the clunky footsteps coming up the stairs.
The sight that greeted Sam needed to be photographed. Bucky was lounging back on his ‘old man armchair’ feet up, hair in a towel, in a bathrobe, coffee in hand and facemask on, this was definitely one for the family album.
At the sound of the phone shutter Bucky practically launched himself out of the chair.
“Oh, you are never gonna live this one down old boy, it’s going to haunt you.” Sam almost cackled evilly as he began to email the photo to himself- he had learnt the hard way that Bucky was very proficient at breaking phones.
“You better not upload that photo anywhere, Wilson, I have a reputation to uphold.”
“Pfft, reputation, that’s funny.”
Bucky scoffed as he stood up, placing his book carefully on the side table, “Big scary super soldier, people hardly run-in fear from a guy in a bathrobe.”
“I disagree, a man in a bathrobe is definitely something you should run from. AH NOPE!” Sam jumped backwards, on top of a nearby chair, as Bucky lunged for the phone, towel turban falling off in the process. “You are not breaking this phone as well.”
“Fine. But you gotta promise not to post that anywhere.” Bucky huffed.
“I won’t.”
“Good.”
“As long as- “
“Oh no, I’m not doing anything for you.”
“Think of it as payment for the last phone you broke and insurance for this picture.”
There was silence for a moment as the two friends eyed each other up. Sam raised his eyebrows, Bucky’s eyes narrowed. It was an intense staring match between a guy in a bathrobe and a precariously balanced man. A clock ticked.
“Fine.” Bucky conceded. “What do you want?”
“For you to come to a meeting.”
“The families of Veterans ones?”
“Yeah.” Sam slowly started climbing down from the chair. “And before you get your old man pants in a twist, I’m not trying to force you to talk or anything, kinda.”
“Kinda?” Suspicion laced through Bucky’s voice.
“You know sign language, right?”
“Which kind?”
“American? I think?”
“Yeah, I know ASL, might be a bit rusty but I’m sure it still holds up. Why do you ask?”
Sam shifted slightly on his feet, “There’s this person, they come in every week and listen. I tried to talk to them, but they communicate through sign language, and I don’t have anyone there to talk with them.” He cast his eyes to the floor, “I feel bad. They were brave enough to come to the group only to basically be ignored ‘because we didn’t plan well enough.”
Bucky smiled, face mask crinkling around his smile lines, “You could have just asked me to Sam. You didn’t have to blackmail me into this, of course I’ll help. When’s the next meeting?”
“This evening. You gonna be ready or do you need some more ‘me’ time.”
Bucky simply chuckled at Sam’s teasing tone, patted his shoulder making sure to squeeze just a bit too hard before retreating to his room.
“I’ll be there, Wilson, and I will look so much younger than you!”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was frustrating to you, going along to these meetings and not being able to communicate. You could always speak into someone’s mind but all that usually accomplished was a very paranoid person. But just listening to other’s stories really helped the grief from losing someone so close to you. You related to most of the people there and even though they didn’t understand you a lot of the time, you were always made to feel welcome- with friendly pats on the back and the odd tissue thrown your way.
You bustled into the familiar building with a new sense of excitement as Sam had promised to bring a translator for you this week. It was finally time to say your thanks to some of the people there and finally let the group know about your brother, so that it wasn’t only you that remembered him.
You all but ran through the hallways until you caught sight of a familiar smiling man. Sam was facing you, talking animatedly to another man, the strangers back was to you. He was tall, broad shouldered and dressed in a vintage looking leather jacket and rather well fitted trousers. Now the debate was: does the tailoring make the ass, or does the ass make the tailoring. You were halfway through the arguments on either side when Sam shouting your name disrupted the intense debating in your mind. You blushed at being caught, then blushed some more when you caught sight of the stranger’s face. Twinkling blue eyes under a deep-set brow should have made him intimidating, but he was smiling, and his face was dazzling. There was an immediate fluttering in your stomach.
“Hey, I’m Bucky.” Dear lord even his voice was nice, what made you smile even more was the fact that he signed as he spoke. Well, Sam certainly knew how to pick them well. “Sam introduced me; said you wanted an interpreter.”
You nodded as you signed back, “Nice to meet you, thank you for helping out.”
“No problem, Sam has told me a bit about you.”
“Good things I hope.”
“Okay I recognise my own name, you two better not be conspiring against me.” Sam piped up, to be honest you had forgotten about him for a moment.
Bucky laughed, and it sent a little thrill down you, he really was adorable.
“No worries, Wilson, just letting them know all your dirty little secrets.”
“Right, you two get in there, before you make me sleep with one eye open.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You and Bucky caught each other’s eye, his eyes were twinkling with mischief, and you couldn’t help the smile that overtook you. You had a feeling that the two of you would get on just fine.
The meeting passed easily. Bucky translated your signs and you finally felt like you could actually take part in these meetings. Everyone listened intently when you spoke of your brother and when you had thanked the whole group for being so open to you a couple of people shed a tear. By the end of the meeting though you were tired and very accepting of Bucky’s offer to walk you home.
It was a lot of side glances and hidden smiles and you walked side by side. Drawn to each other under the moonlit sky, it was nice to just be in the presence of someone who had such a kind aura. You spent the walk trying to work up the confidence to sign something, anything but nothing came to mind and Bucky seemed quite content to just walk in comfortable silence.
You soon reached your home, you turned to Bucky with a smile on your face and signed,
“Thanks for today, Bucky. You were really helpful.”
“No problem.” He signed back,
You hesitated slightly before signing, “Would you be happy to have a coffee with me, tomorrow?”
Bucky went a little red in the face, and chuckled, “I would love to, I know a nice place, real cosy. I’ll text you the details.”
“You know how to text?”
“Hey! I get enough stick from Sam, don’t need you getting on my case too. I’ll have you know that I am very adaptable.”
“Sure, Sure.” You smiled at his flustered tone. “I’ll wait for your text then, have a good evening.”
“You too.”
The two of you stared slightly awkwardly at each other, neither wanting to be the first to turn around. You shuffled your feet away slowing, smiling awkwardly once more at Bucky before turning. You heard his footsteps start to fade away as you walked towards your home. You were but three steps to the door when a large figure in a hoodie slammed into you, you raised your arms instinctively to block them when you noticed your shoulder was lighter. The bastard had stolen your bag.
You immediately took chase, chasing around the corner you just walked down but they were fast, faster then you at least. As you rounded the corner you caught sight of Bucky walking ahead. The thief wouldn’t stand a change against him. Without a second thought you cast your thoughts towards Bucky,
“Bucky! Thief! My Bag! Behind you!”
You saw Bucky flinch slightly then turn bewildered, his eyes widening when he saw you hurting towards him, chasing the hooded figure. He caught on and launched after the thief as well, with barely any effort he knocked the thief to the ground, grabbed your bag and whipped out his phone to call the cops.
Well, that was hot.
You took your bag back, immediately checking that you brother’s lucky coin was in the zippy pocket, to your relief it was still there. You looked up to see Bucky staring at you with a very puzzled look on his face. You sighed before casting your thoughts to his head once more,
“I’ll explain later.”
Bucky let out a strange, decompressed noise of shock, it made you giggle. The two of you waited in silence until the police came and took the thief away. The police car had barely driven away when he turned to you.
“Did you just, talk in my head? Or did my conscious just suddenly get really loud.”
“I did. Hi. Sorry about that.”
He waved his hands dismissively. “Believe it or not, not the weirdest thing I’ve encountered.”
“Well, that’s reassuring.”
There was an awkward silence.
“So,” You started, resorting back to sign language, it felt less invasive, “Still down for coffee?”
Bucky smiled, “One hundred percent. I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Yeah. Bye Bucky. Thanks for getting my bag back.”
“No problem, see ya.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The coffee shop that Bucky invited you to, was tucked away, it was the kind of place that you would stumble over on accident. With a simple door and a big window out the front, that lead soft orange light filter out onto the alley. There was the faint sound of jazz leaking out of the building, you smirked. It was such an old fashioned place, of course this was where Bucky frequented.
The bell tinkled slightly as you entered the café, where you were greeted with the smell of fresh coffee and baked goods. You caught sight of Bucky’s broad shoulders sitting in the corner, and you made your way over to him, smiling at the barista as you passed.
As if sensing you, Bucky turned to smile and wave. He was dressed in casual clothes like last time, but this time his hair was loose around his shoulders. You smiled back before settling into the seat opposite him.
His hands moved hesitantly as he signed, “What would you like? I can recommend their hot chocolate, its very warming/”
“Hot chocolate it is.”
You could tell he wanted to ask you a million questions but to his credit he walked slowly to get the drinks, he even took his time carefully carrying the tray of drinks back to your table. He placed a delicious looking hot chocolate in front of you. You watched as he took a sip.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1-
“So,” Here we go, “What is it you can do, you can speak in peoples’ heads, can you,” He lowered his voice and leaned in, “Can you read people’s minds?”
You giggled slightly, his eyes were basically sparkling, he was definitely nerding out about this.
You set the hot chocolate down before casting your thoughts to his head, “I can speak in peoples heads relatively easily, it’s how I talk most of the time to people I know. I guess you could call it Telepathy.”
Bucky’s eyes were as wide as saucers, “So you can’t read thoughts, only… speak them?”
“I like to call it casting, makes me feel like a sorcerer. I can read thoughts, but it takes a lot of energy. I used to be able to talk with my brother from across the house. That usually requires some kind of connection.”
“Oh, so like a blood or family connection? Do you have to know the person very well?”
“That certainly helps but it’s not always necessary. If I have a personal object that belongs to that person, something I can hold and connect to them it isn’t hard to make a two-way connection. Especially if that person is willing to open their mind.”
Bucky seemed to be caught in thought for a second. “So, if I were to give you something of mine, we could both talk in our… heads?”
“Well yes, but Bucky we have only just met. Letting me into your head is a lot. I try not to pry but sometimes I’ve found that thoughts just burst through. Let’s get to know each other a before that happens.”
Bucky smiled at you before speaking and signing, “You’re right. Let’s get to know one another. I find you fascinating.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It happened on the fifth date. Bucky was just walking you home after a lovely dinner at a small Italian that he claimed he went to back in the 40s. Just outside your door, under the glow of a lamppost he turned to you and took a deep breath before speaking.
“I know this may be a lot, but I wanted to give you these.” He reached around his neck and pulled off something silver. You gasped slightly as he held out his dog tags, immaculately preserved after all these years.
“Are you sure, Bucky? This is a lot.”
“I know and if you aren’t comfortable with it then just let me know but I want to give them to you.”
“You know what this means Bucky?”
“Yeah, I know, I just figured that you’re already in my head all the time anyways, just can’t seem to get you out of it.”
“You cheeseball.” You smirked at him before taking the dog tags and placing them around your neck. You gripped the cold metal for a moment, concentrating on the man in front of you. Taking everything, you knew about him and stretching out a connection, like a hand reaching out to clasp another.
“Testing, Testing, Testing, one two, one two, can my Telepathic partner hear me?”
You laughed, “Yes I can Bucky, you big dork.”
Bucky whooped out loud before sweeping you up in a big hug. The two of you laughing under the lamp light. His joy was infectious, and you couldn’t fight the smile off your face.
“Oh, we are going to have so much fun messing with Sam.”
“You’re evil.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course, the two of you made a pact not to tell Sam until he worked it out, which wouldn’t be anytime soon according to Bucky. It led to some very memorable moments and Sam refusing to play any form of card or board game with either of you because you always managed to win, somehow. Not to mention all the times you had spoken in eery unison around him.
“I swear, its like you two can read each other’s minds sometimes.” Sam threw his hands up in frustration at another lost game of charades.
You smirked at Bucky across the room, “Should you tell him, or shall I?”
“I think he’s been through enough, I got it.”
Bucky cleared his throat, “We can.”
Sam whipped around to face Bucky, a look of sheer disbelief on his face, “Seriously Bucky-boy, if you think I believe that after all-
“Hello Sam.” You cast your thoughts to him, in the creepiest old lady voice you could muster.
Sam yelped, before turning accusingly at you, “You better be joking around with me right now, I am not dealing with any kind of ghosts in this house.”
“Sorry! Surprise I’m telepathic!”
“You’re serious.”
You nodded.
Sam put his head in his hands and sighed, “Not the weirdest thing ever. Wait, does this mean you have been cheating this entire time.”
You both looked guiltily at one another.
“You owe me. That poker night, void.”
You both laughed, “We’ll have a fair rematch this time Sam.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been close to a year since you had made it official with Bucky and you were now much more comfortable around one another. He no longer just dropped you off at the lamppost but cam inside with you. You had spent many lovely mornings together sharing glances over steaming cups of coffee. Fighting each other for who got to spread their legs out on the couch, there wasn’t really a loser though as it usually ended up in sofa cuddles for both of you, while watching a film.
Life was pretty great, you thought, as you smiled down at the sleeping Bucky beside you. Finally reaching over to turn off the lamp and put your book down, you were finally reading the hobbit at Bucky’s insistence. As you clicked off the light beside you and settled down you noticed the faster than usual breathing coming from beside you.
“Bucky?”
You reached out, thinking he was awake but instead as you opened up your connection you caught flashes of night terrors. You were falling indefinitely, snow all around you, and in the distance, there were cries of pain, people pleading for their lives, there was gunfire and explosions. You gasped and took off the dog tags. You only gave yourself a moment to breathe before trying to shake Bucky awake. When it became clear that he wasn’t stirring you steadied yourself and settled your hands on his temples. You didn’t care you tired this would make you, you just wanted Bucky to stop suffering. You focused, offering out that hand of connection again, this time picturing it in the shape of a fist and, although it wasn’t subtle, you tried to shake Bucky’s brain awake. You forced your way into his dreams, punching through the dark fog that clouded his thoughts and almost screamed at him.
“Bucky! Bucky wake up! You’re dreaming my dear!”
Bucky woke up with a start. Tears flowing down his face, he stared at you blue eyes shining. No one spoke as he pulled you into his arms. You just breathed together for a moment, counting the breaths and the spaces in between. When he finally pulled back, you saw his eyes flicker with concern before lifting a hand to gently wipe under your nose, it came back red with blood.
“You, okay?”
You smiled sadly, reaching out to put the dog tags back on.
“I should be asking you that.”
“But you’re bleeding.”
“Occupational hazard.” You tried to subtly get rid of any of the extra blood. “That was pretty intense. Wanna talk?”
Bucky looked down to the sheets and shook his head. You smiled at him, tilting his head to yours.
“That’s fine, want me to go? Or would you like to cuddle for a bit?”
Bucky didn’t talk again, just pulled you gently down to the bed once more. Snuggling himself under your chin, resting his head on your chest. You felt his arms draw tightly against your waist. You pressed your lips into his hair.
“May I help you go to sleep? Keep the bad thoughts at bay for at least one night.”
You felt Bucky nod and let out a little sleepy hum of agreement. You closed your eyes, focused on your connection setting up a golden wall against the dark fog at the corners of his mind and settled into a deep sleep.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You woke to the smell of fresh coffee and the clinking of cups.
“Morning.” You opened your eyes at Bucky’s voice and took the offered cup greedily. Your mind still felt hazy from the energy you used last night.
You felt the bed dip beside you as Bucky sat and sipped at his cup as well, hair a bit of a mess from bed. He had evidently only just woken up as well.
He took a breath, “I had some pretty interesting dreams, sweetheart.”
You stiffened, “Good ones I hope.”
“Don’t worry, they were good. If a little strange.”
“Strange?”
“I was watching myself most of the time.”
You snorted into the coffee, “Sounds creepy”
There was a slight chuckle, “Nah, I was watching myself build a home, a family- “
“Oh God Bucky.” You snapped your eyes to his, you knew what had happened. “I am so sorry my dreams must have stuck in your head.”
“Those were your dreams?”
“Yeah, its only happened once before but when the connection between two people is very strong, it can happen- I call it bleeding. Perhaps we should- “
“If the next words out of your mouth are take a break, I will spill your coffee.” You clutched your cup closer to your chest, “Truthfully, those were some of the beset dreams I have every had. I really loved them.”
You looked back up at him, hesitantly “You did?”
“And I love you.”
“Huh
There was silence as you stared at him in shock. His face as nothing but adoration as the sunlight filtered over his face.
“I love you, sweetheart.”
“I love you too.”
Coffee cups were cast aside as you both collided. Giggling and joking, radiating happiness as the two of you shared the sweetest kiss. Your feelings merging together, amplifying one another until they shone brighter than the sun.
Miscommunication
Tumblr media
Pairing: Stucky x F Reader
Summary: You were a retired Shield Agent and enjoyed the quiet life. Steve Rogers came over to your house to lay down and suddenly he almost moved in with Bucky Barnes. But it seemed like not all three of you were on the same page where your relationship stands.
Word Count: ~3.5k
Warnings: a little bit of angst, but mostly fluff (I think) and all of them are idiots, swear words
A/N: I actually have no clue what this is or where it came from. But I was in the mood for some fluff and couldn’t decide, if I should write Steve or Bucky. So this is the first time that I wrote Stucky
Tumblr media
There was a small knock on your door and you knew that the person who was knocking had a key to your house, but he insisted on making himself known before he'd enter.
„Come in, Steve,“ you yelled, knowing that he would hear you through the closed door. Not a second later you heard the key being turned and him entering the house. He came up to you and put his arm around your waist and kissed your cheek before he let go. „Smells good,“ Steve commented and noticed that there was way more food in the pan than one person could eat.
„Buck isn’t with you today?“ you asked and turned around although you heard that Steve came alone.
„He's on a mission.“ Steve walked to your cabinet and pulled out some plates for the two of you and put them on the table. You didn’t have to point out where anything was. This was like his second home.
You had worked for Shield before everything went down and you were actually there when Steve was chased by the organization. You were injured then and Steve came to you to make sure you were okay. That was the start of your friendship with Captain America. Not long after that you met Sam Wilson and Natasha Romanoff, before they all had to disappear. After that Steve came back with another person for you to meet: James Buchanan Barnes.
You didn’t know what happened then, but you became friends with him also and it almost seemed like the two super soldiers moved in with you. They even had their own bedroom in your house, which used to be a guest room. They lived in the compound, but some days when they just wanted to feel like normal people they were found in your place.
You didn’t have a conversation about the relationship of the two. They didn’t kiss in front of you, but you were sure that the two of them were an item. They shared the bed in the guestroom, right? You didn’t want to bring up a conversation why they didn’t look for a place on their own. Not when it felt too good that they came to your place.
They did show affection, to each other and to you. It blurred the line of your friendship often. Both of them were cuddlers and when you first noticed that there might be something between the two men you felt bad one day when Steve came through the door and found you cuddling on the couch with Bucky.
But when you wanted to move, Bucky's arm tightened around you and Steve placed a hand on your shoulder and told you to stay, he would join you after a shower. Things like that confused you and made you question if it was really only friendship you felt for the two of them.
„Well, then it should be at least enough food for the two of us. Will you stay the night or do you want to wait for him at the compound,“ you asked when you put some food on the table for him.
„I'll stay here, he won’t be back for two days,“ Steve said when he took the plate from you and placed it on the table.
„I should take rent from you,“ you joked when you sat down after Steve placed the second plate.
„You really should!“ Steve agreed. The discussion had come up before, but you only made them buy groceries from time to time because stuffing two super soldiers was expensive!
„Can I ask you something?“ you spoke up when there was almost no food on your plate anymore.
„Anything,“ Steve answered without missing a beat.
„Why don’t you get a place on your own with Bucky?“
Steve’s movement stopped. „Are we a bother? You should have said something sooner,“ he started to ramble, afraid that they had overstayed their welcome.
„No, no. That’s not it, I swear. I was just wondering if it wouldn’t be easier for the two of you. I like having you around, I swear I’ll tell you if it’s too much,“ you reassured him.
„Okay. Well, it feels nice to leave the compound and everything superhero related behind. It’s nice to come home to something relatively normal. And it’s rare for Bucky to open up to someone, when he started to take a liking to you I was so happy.“
„I'm happy you feel that way. What do you say to popcorn and a movie?“
„Sounds good to me. Get comfortable, I’ll do the dishes,“ Steve offered and you didn’t complain.
Tumblr media
Bucky and Steve were sitting on your couch when you stepped into your house. Not that you were surprised because they were often there and they had texted you that they had ordered pizza.
„Hey, where were you?“ Steve asked and did a double take as soon as he turned around and saw you standing in the hallway.
„I was on a date,“ you answered while you were still busy slipping out of your shoes. There was a choking noise and you looked worried at Steve who held out a drink towards the brunette, whose head was turning red as a piece of pizza has found its way in the wrong tube. „Are you okay?“ you asked and rubbed his back.
„Why were you on a date?“ he asked once he could breathe again.
„Because I was asked. I didn’t think it is a big deal. And I didn’t know you’d be here, aren’t you supposed to be on a mission still?” You didn’t see the point in telling them that it was a setup from one of your coworkers. And that you had tried to get out of it, but you went there in the end. It wasn’t a horrible date, but it wasn’t... what you had with the super soldiers. Not that you would tell them that part.
“It’s postponed to the next week. Will you,” Steve cleared his throat. “Will you go on a second date?”
“Are you afraid that I’ll kick you out of the house?” You pushed Bucky a little to the side and took a seat next to him. “No, I don’t think I will,” you finally said before you took a bite out of the pizza. “Why are you making such a big deal out of it. You have to know that this,” you pointed with your finger at the three of you, “won’t stay that way forever.”
“Do you want us to move out, doll?” Bucky asked and he looked so hurt that you had to place your pizza on the table and had to hug him.
“No, that’s not it. But don’t you want a place of your own?” you asked into his neck.
“Without you? No,” Bucky said without missing a beat. You let out a short laugh and let go of the big man. You could stay a little while in the bubble, thinking that this will stay that way. That night you fell asleep on the sofa and you woke up shortly when you were placed onto something soft and a kiss was placed on your forehead.
Tumblr media
“I see you brought your girlfriend,” Sam greeted the three of you, when you entered the compound and entered the hearing range of the outspoken man. Steve and Bucky had asked if you wanted to come along to the party, seeing as you knew the Avengers and you agreed when you heard that a few of your ex-colleagues were also there.
You forced a laugh at Sam's greeting and hugged him. You hadn’t seen each other for a while but you were fond of him. He was keeping Bucky on his toes, but he was also one of the nicest people you have ever met. “How are you?” you asked before you let go of him.
“Oh I’m good. What about you? Do you miss the action or are you still enjoying the quiet life?” he asked instead.
“Still enjoying the quiet life,” you answered with a big smile. You saw an old coworker of you and excused yourself, telling Sam that you were sure you would see him later again and nodded at your two roommates before you made your way over.
It was about two hours later when Sam walked rather quickly over to his two friends. “I need to talk to the two of you in private.” He didn’t leave any room for objections. Bucky and Steve shared a glance before they followed Sam into a debriefing room not far from the party.
“Did you told your girlfriend that she should deny a relationship with you?” he came straight to the point and looked into the confused faces of his friends.
“No?” Steve finally said.
“Did you have a talk about how you are going to approach today with her?” Sam asked next.
“No, why are you asking these weird things? And why did we have to leave the room for that?” Bucky was just as confused as Steve was.
“Because I thought you might not want everyone to hear this. Why is your girl telling everyone that she’s single then? And why was her laugh so forced when I called her your girlfriend? I thought maybe it was because you wanted to keep everything private, but I saw you looking at her and each other the whole night and now I am just confused.”
“You are the one who is confused? I think I am the one who can’t follow you.”
“Okay, well then I have a simple question for you. Does she know that you are in a relationship?” Sam asked and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
“Yes,” Bucky and Steve said at the same time.
“And you are in a relationship with her too, right?”
“Yes,” the answer was spoken at the same time again.
“And did you have a talk with her where you told her specificly that she’s your girlfriend?”
“We don’t have to discuss every little detail when it’s clear,” Steve started to say and Sam threw his arms in the air to show he was clearly frustrated with the big guys in front of him.
“She doesn’t know that the three of you are in a relationship. It all adds up, now. You need to have a talk, because she clearly thinks she is single. I heard herself saying that more than once tonight.”
Steve looked at Bucky. “Do you think he’s right?” he asked his boyfriend.
Bucky just raised his hands and shoulder to show he had no idea. Until now he didn’t even question it, but he thought they had made it clear after you had come back from the date and they were confused as hell. The three of you were almost always cuddled together on the couch or on the chairs in the garden, when one of the two insisted that you could still fit on one of their lounge chairs. Or the little dates they went on like the little café a few streets down your house.
Or the stroll around the little park when it had suddenly started to rain and he had given you his baseball cap while Steve insisted you would get his hoodie because he wouldn’t get sick. You had held Bucky's hand on the way back to the house after you had waited under a tree for the rain to stop.
“Do you think that is why she always asked if we wanted to get a house of our own?” Bucky concluded.
“You are so dumb. I think you have to fix that,” Sam said and was the first one to leave the room.
You were surprised when suddenly Steve and Bucky were around you and after the fourth time they had hinted that they were tired you asked if you wanted to leave the party. They agreed eagerly after you said goodnight to a few people you were on your way to the house.
You sat on the passenger seat, although you had argued that you’d be fine to sit in the back. Now Bucky sat behind you and you had pushed your seat forward so he could have at least a little space. Steve’s right hand was on your leg and he only took it away to change the gear.
“Okay, what is wrong with you? You’re acting strange,” you said finally and turned around so you could see Bucky which caused Steve to lose his hold on your leg.
Bucky thought about denying it, but it didn’t feel right.
“Can we talk about it at home, honey?” Steve asked instead and you nodded. You turned back around and the rest of the drive was quiet. When Steve parked the car in front of your house and you loosened the seatbelt, Bucky had already opened your car door and held out a hand in front of you. You raised an eyebrow at that but still accepted it. What was going on?
“Do you want to change into something more comfortable?” Steve asked when you stepped inside.
“No, I want to know what is going on.”
You decided to sit down on the couch, so you could at least sit comfortable and you tucked your feet under your legs. It looked like the two men didn’t know where to sit, but they decided on the other side of the couch next to each other. “So, will one of you finally tell me what is going on?”
“It seems like we’re not all on the same page with what is going on here,” Steve started and made a motion with his finger to the three of you. You cocked your eyebrow again to show him he should continue, because to be honest you were lost. “You know that Bucky and I are in a relationship, right?” Bucky’s hand had grabbed Steve’s. And did he seem nervous?
You nodded. This was where they would tell you that you had crossed a line. Although when you thought about it, Steve’s hand had rested on your thigh not even 20 minutes ago.
“Doll, the point is... we thought we made it clear that we’re in a relationship,” Bucky stepped in.
“You did, I knew from the start. I mean you share the room with one bed. This is where you can be whoever you want to be. I won’t judge you,” you said quickly.
“Doll, Steve and I thought we had made it clear that we’re in a relationship with you. Steve, you and me.” It looked like he wanted to grab your hand but then he pulled back as if he was afraid of your reaction.
You mouth was open and you only closed it when you noticed that your tongue got dry. “The three of us? I’m so confused. Since when? I mean we haven’t even kissed,” you rambled.
Steve decided to be brave and grabbed your hand then. “Love is shown in many ways. It doesn’t always have to be physical and we just thought that wasn’t what you wanted. It took Bucky a long time to get comfortable with touching and it sometimes is still hard for him. But I think I do have to make it clear, honey. I love you and not just in a platonic way. It’s the same love I hold for Bucky and if you want to and if you feel the same, we’d love to be in a relationship with you.”
“If you need time, or hell,” Bucky swallowed, “if you don’t want to be with us or doesn’t want us around anymore, just say the word and we’ll leave.”
“I’ll grab a glass of water. Give me a moment, I’ll be back, okay?” You couldn’t answer them right now, there was so much going on. They wanted to be in a relationship with you? And they assumed that you already were an item? You wondered what had changed. Wait, was that why Sam had greeted you as their girlfriend? It hadn’t been a joke. And if they had told Sam, or maybe even Natasha... that means that this was something serious. But you still couldn’t figure out why they hadn’t talked to you.
“We need to work on your communication skills,” you said when you walked back, the glass of water long forgotten. “I'm not sure how to go from here,” you admitted.
“We can continue just as we were. Nothing has to change except we don’t see others romantically. We can go just as slow as you want or we don’t have to change anything.”
“Can we talk about this in the morning and just cuddle right now?” you asked and you could clearly see the relief on the guys face.
“Of course, doll,” Bucky answered and opened his arms.
“Let’s go change into something comfortable before, okay?” You took his hand and the three of you walked into your respective rooms. When you walked out of your room in some comfy clothes you could hear Steve and Bucky talking in their room. You couldn’t understand what they were saying, but you knocked on the door. The talking stopped and Steve opened the door.
You stepped from one foot to the other. “Maybe we can cuddle here,” you said when you looked up. Why you were suddenly so nervous around them you didn’t know. Steve nodded and stepped aside so you could enter the room.
Bucky noticed you hesitating and took your hand again. “Come here,” he said and lead you to the bed. He got comfortable on the right side and when you crawled after him he pulled you to his chest. Steve got on your other side and put an arm around your waist.
You felt Bucky's breath on your neck. “Just to make it clear, doll. I love you too,” he said and a feather light kiss was pressed into your neck.
“I can’t believe that you let me walk into a room full of people who knew about your feelings for me and I didn’t. Why couldn’t you just say anything? And why did you tell Sam and not me?” you said after a while because you couldn’t just wait for tomorrow.
“We thought it was obvious. And Sam just called your our girlfriend once and we didn’t deny it and then we called you our girlfriend. That’s kind of how we told them.”
“I always felt so guilty when one of you cuddled with me, but then you showed me in affection wen the other one was around and it was just so confusing. I’m glad we cleared that now, though,” you said and wrapped your hand around Bucky’s while your other one rested against Steve’s chest.
“We’re sorry,” Steve mumbled. You laid there and enjoyed their presence until you got sleepy. But you weren’t ready to share the bed and so you started to get up. “I’ll go to sleep, we’ll see each other for breakfast.” When you were about to walk out you stopped in the doorway. “I’m really glad you came clear. Goodnight boys.”
“Sleep well, doll.”
Tumblr media
The next day you were woken by a knock on your door. “Good Morning, honey. We prepared breakfast.” You tried to raise a eyebrow.
“Am I in a parallel universe? I’ll come soon,” you said and pulled away your blanket to make your way to the bathroom. When you made your way to the kitchen you were greeted with the smell of food and you did a double take when you spotted the flowers on the table and the stuff that was neatly arranged.
“We wanted to make it special for the first date that the three of us will be aware of. We went to the bakery you liked so much,” Steve explained while he filled some glasses with juice, not really noticing that the juice was spilling over as he waited for your reaction.
“Well, thank you, boyfriends,” you said with a smile on your lips as you sat down. You were aware of the pressure that fell from the tall guys in the room.
“I'm glad you like it, doll,” Bucky pressed a kiss to your cheek before he sat down on the chair next to you, while Steve was busy cleaning the counter. He was about to sit down in front of you, when you asked if you wouldn’t get a good morning kiss from him. You knew he was a super soldier and he had good reflexes but you were pretty sure you have never seen him move so fast before. He was about to kiss your cheek but you turned around and stunned him when suddenly your lips connected. He was shocked, that much you could tell, but it didn’t hinder him from kissing you back gently.
He shared a quick glance with Bucky when you disconnected, but the other man wasn’t about to say anything. He meant what he said when he told you the night before that they would go in your pace. But when you looked at him and asked if you could have a kiss from him too he didn’t hesitate to kiss you.
“So, now that that’s out of the way. I’m starving,” you said and started to put some food on your plate. “What are we going to do today?”
“Whatever you want,” Steve and Bucky said at the same time which caused you to laugh
i was thinking about the end credits of CA:WS and when Bucky’s in the Smithsonian maybe the reader like approaches him or something?
Tumblr media
“You look like him you know—?” Bucky looked to his left to see where the voice that somehow brought him out of his deep rooted subconscious thoughts came from. Looking over to see a woman standing not to shy off a meter away from him. Looking at the same exhibit at the Smithsonian he was. The Howling Commandos exhibit—to be more specific, the James Buchanan Barnes exhibit. “Bucky.” You gestured. “You look like Bucky Barnes—and I think you know that aswell.”
“Who the hell are you supposed to be?” He questioned. Jaw clenched. So much anger, hurt, confusion, rushing through his veins. He looked you through dark eyes that had seen only the worst for so many years.
“A friend, if you’ll let me.” You were gentle. Kind, your voice like silk brushing against Bucky’s skin. “Steve Rogers, he won’t stop till he finds you, I guess I’m just here making sure you eventually want to be found.” It was true. You weren’t there to bring Bucky in. You saw his mind trying it’s best to remember, he needed time to be alone. Be by himself.
“I could kill you without even blinking.”
“You won’t though.” You walked closer to where Bucky’s picture stood tall. The tint old, portraying a version so pure of Bucky Barnes it was hard to imagine the man who stood tall behind you close enough to snap your neck was the same person.
“How can you be sure?” He asked with his teeth grinding together. Jaw again clenched.
“Because there isn’t anyone here giving you an order, you kill me? That’s on your own accord, that’s blood you shed conscious, you kill me—Bucky—you won’t get a chance to mend your soul, right the wrongs you were forced to partake in. You kill me? That’s all you.”
“What do I do?” He asked, pleading for help. His voice cracked as he held back tears. Fearful of his life, the things he’d done. Memories rushed back as the fog in his mind cleared slowly.
“There’s a safe house in Romania, you’ll be safe there.” You shrugged your shoulders, turning around to look at the broken shell of a man trying to decide if he was who he was looking at. “For a while at least, I’m sure Rogers will be on your ass.”
“I don’t know who you are? Why are you helping me—“
“I owe a debt, Buck.” You softly smiled as you held your hand out, placing a card in Bucky’s right hand. Flesh meeting flesh. Warm and inviting. “You ever need a hand, I’ll have your back.” Looking down it was a blank card. White with a name and a number.
“Agent Carter”
“Names carry a lot of weight sometimes.” You shrugged, figuring one day Bucky would be well enough to make the connection on his own. Steve Rogers wasn’t the only person set on finding the Winter Soldier. There’s had been people before him who’d tried to find him, repay him for his service, to say sorry for everything he’d been through. Peggy Carter never stopped looking, Howard Stark never stopped trying. It was passed down, generation to generation—a forever mission landing on your desk when you were old enough to drive.
“Romania huh?” The corner of Bucky’s lip curled into somewhat of a smile. “Long way away—“ you handed him a ticket.
“Well it’s a good thing I’m not asking you to walk.” You chuckled. Picking up the bag your dropped in the dark corner when you’d entered the room. “Passport, fake ID, spare clothes, everything you’ll need—Sargent Barnes.” You smiled. “I’ll be hearing from you soon I hope?”
“I don’t even know what to say.” Bucky sighed. So many emotions rushing through his mind. “Agent Carter—“
“You ever need someone, you call me—“
“What if I don’t?”
“Trust I’ll know where to find you.”
“Will you?” You chuckled as you looked around the room. So much history. Smiling as you starting walking away. Trusting a now somewhat nomadic version of the winter soldier to stand on his own two feet—find his own way. With a push.
“Trust me Buck, you aren’t the only one who comes from legend, before you go—check out the exhibit next door, read up on the guys who never gave up on you.”
Desperate Times, Desperate Measures | Yandere Tony and Yandere Steve x Male! Reader
Tumblr media
Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.
Are two men with very different and very strong personalities. Both tend to get into arguments and didn't really have things in common. Well, until you came along and managed to steal the heart of Iron Man and Captain America.
You, Y/N L/N. The newest member of the Avengers who was in your mid-20s and graduated from SHIELD academy, and ended up being recruited by Fury.
And from the first day they laid their eyes on you, you've managed to turn everything around with just one look.
Created a dark, possessive monster inside the Billionaire and super-soldier.
They loved every part of you and the sole purpose of their lives was to get you to be one of theirs forever.
Of course, this has caused them both to argue more frequently than they did, and the other Avengers were getting fed up with it. So, they both resorted to doing many different things to gain your love and affection.
Tony resorted to spending his wealth and luxuries. He's constantly spoiling you with gifts and even took you flying in his private jet with just the two of you.
Steve wasn't from this time, but he knew that if he wanted you, he needed to be himself, so that's what he did. He took you out to your favorite restaurants and other places to your liking. You seemed to be having a good time, which made Steve think he is winning against Tony.
They wouldn't stop until they both succeeded in winning your heart.
You and Steve were currently training in the gym after punching the punching bags. Though you didn't need to train, you liked training with Steve. Tony watched you both train through the cameras he had installed to make sure that Steve didn't try anything with you.
Steve was a little more skilled in fighting than you, but he should learn to never underestimate you. Without warning, Steve threw a punch at you and missed as you did a special move and flipped him on the ground as he groaned.
"How did you manage to do that?" Steve asked breathlessly from underneath you, blushing from the position you both were in.
"Because I'm awesome and amazing." You said cockily with a nonchalant shrug of your shoulders as you smirked down at the super soldier, "Guess I'm stronger than you."
In a split second, Steve flipped you over and pinned your arm down as your eyes widened in surprise. That damn super Soldier serum strength. Steve was now smirking down at you, "I'm still stronger."
He put his hand on your cheek, startling you slightly as you felt heat crawl up to your face. Steve decided to get a little bold and leaned down, slowly closing the distance between you two, but the sound of your phone blared throughout the gym. You both jumped, and you got up from underneath Steve to check it.
Crap, I was so close to kissing him. Steve thought as Tony clenched his fist in his hand, feeling a sudden urge to call for his suit and shoot a lot of repulsors at Steve.
I can't believe I almost kissed Captain America. What is wrong with me? You thought and shook your head, checking to see who called you and the unread message.
Seeing the message made you let out a huff of annoyance. Steve frowned and walked over to you and placed a hand on your shoulder, causing you to look at him.
"Are you alright, Y/N?"
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just fine."
Steve didn't believe you, but he'll let it go for the time being, "Hey, are you hungry? I can make you something or we can go out to lunch." He smiled at you.
"I would love to go out to lunch with you, but I promised Tony I would help down in the lab after I was done training." You sent him an apologetic smile.
Steve clenched his teeth at the fact that you were spending time with Tony. He didn't want you to be alone with him. He hoped at least Bruce was in the lab with you, but then again, Tony would still try to make a move with Bruce there or not.
"Mr. L/N, sir would like to see you in his lab now." Jarvis said.
"Okay, I'll see you later, Steve."
You left the gym, not knowing that you left behind a jealous and fuming Steve.
You took a shower and changed as quickly as possible, running to the elevator and nearly bumped into Tony who had a coffee mug in his hand.
"There you are, Y/N! I was wondering what was taking you so long." Tony said, stepping back into the elevator along with you and taking a sip of his coffee.
"Just need to take a shower and change first. Training made me very sweaty," You replied, "So, what are we working on today?"
"We aren't working on anything today."
The elevator stopped and you both entered the lab, as you looked at Tony in confusion, "But I thought we were-"
"Nope! You are going to try on the new suit I designed for you." He presses a button, which brings out the suit.
"Wait. I'm actually getting my own suit?" You asked, trying to keep the excitement out of your voice, but failing miserably.
Tony nodded, "Yeah, and with this suit, you'll have full optimal protection along with other special modifications. It'll be good for future missions as well." He boasted proudly of his new design.
"It's perfect! Can I try it on now?"
"I don't see why not. Go ahead!"
He takes the suit out of the package and you took it, running into another room to get changed, but not before planting a kiss on Tony's cheek. He still stood in the same spot and blushed, taking a deep breath in.
The suit felt amazing on your body. It was quite comfortable and nobody can ever say that you don't look good in this suit cause that would be a lie.
This black suit could help you blend into the environment better and look good at the same time.
"I can't believe you tried to kiss him! And then show up down here in my lab!" You heard Tony speaking to someone in a hushed tone and you decided to listen in.
"Mellow out, Stark. Don't act like you haven't tried to when you're alone with him." You heard Steve's voice spoken in a hushed tone as well.
"Doesn't matter. I do what I want, and I want you to stay away from him."
"I don't have to listen to you!"
"I'd strongly suggest you do."
"Hey, how do I look?" You step out and show them how your suit looks on you, putting an end to this unnecessary argument as they both looked at you.
Both, Steve and Tony's mouths fell open slightly at the way you looked in that black suit, "...Hot." Was the word that came out of their mouth simultaneously and you chuckled.
"I know. Thank you." You responded. Just then, you got a message on your phone and resisted the urge to sigh, "Sorry, Tony. I have to leave right now."
"What? Why?" Tony narrowed his eyes as Steve stood next to him, waiting for your answer.
"Well, one of my friends from SHIELD Academy wanted to meet up with me."
"And what's their name?" Steve asked.
"His name is Tyler and I forgot we made lunch plans together, so I'm going to go and get ready. I'll see you guys later. I won't be gone for more than an hour."
Quickly, you walked out of the lab and left behind two people together in a room with one sole purpose. And they realized that someone else might be in their way.
Around twenty minutes later, you were done getting dressed, wearing a casual outfit. It was probably a little much for going out with a friend. Oh well. You always dress to impress.
"Where are you going looking that good? A date, perhaps?" You heard Natasha ask and turned around to see her in the doorway with Clint, smirking at you.
"If you must know, I'm not going on a date. Just going out with a friend."
"Oh c'mon. There's no way you're going out with a friend when you look that hot. It's totally a date," Clint said, "I bet you fifty bucks he's gonna have sex."
You rolled your eyes, letting out a snort, "It's not a date and I won't be having sex. Tyler just wants to know what's been happening in my life and how I fit in around here."
"Well, make sure to tell him that you fit in just fine around here. This is your home." Natasha tells you.
"Home." You whispered in a flat tone, putting on your jacket and shoes.
"Yeah! You're an Avenger now. It might not feel like home since you're still pretty new here, but it will soon." Clint chimed in and you nodded with a smile.
You went down to the living room where all the other Avengers were sitting and said your goodbyes. Then, you walked out of the tower to go and meet Tyler.
XXXXX XXXXX
"Come dance with me, Y/N." Tyler asked, placing his drink down and offering you his hand with a smile. You two went out to lunch before coming out to a bar. You two had an interesting conversation.
Even though you said you would be gone for an hour, that turned into three.
"Um, right now?"
"No, when we are old and gray. Of course, I meant right now." You rolled your eyes but took his hand and he led you onto the dance floor where other couples were dancing as well.
Soon, you were wrapped in his arms, swaying to the rhythm of the music, "Remember what I told you to do. Take out the Avengers before it's too late."
You let out a sigh, not wanting to have this conversation right now or at all for that matter. Unfortunately, some Hydra agents did invade SHIELD and recruited Tyler. They were trying to recruit you too, but you didn't want to be a part of that.
You didn't want to hurt or kill the Avengers. You actually liked them and saw them as family. You wanted to protect and help people, not hurt them.
"I don't want to have this conversation right now." You stated and lifted your head up from his chest to see that he looked like he was struggling to breathe and frowned, "Tyler? You alright there?"
Suddenly, Tyler collapsed onto the floor, passing out as some people came over to see what happened. You were about to check on him when a Hydra Agent came over and placed a hand on your shoulder, "Get back to the tower. You have a job to do. Don't forget."
You let out a dramatic huff but walked back to the tower. When you got back to the tower, you went straight to the bathroom and splashed some water on your face, drying it with a washcloth.
Fuck it, you decided that you aren't killing any of the Avengers. You were basically a member now. You get to save people's lives and that's what you wanted to do. Hydra would have to kill you before you think about hurting the team.
You entered your room at the exact moment someone knocks on your door. Ugh, seriously? You wanted to blast your music and read a book or something. Who the hell is knocking at your door?
You opened the door and Tony and Steve were standing in the doorway, "Hey, Y/N. How was your date?" Steve asked, voice dripping with bitterness.
"It wasn't a date," You corrected, and sighed in slight exasperation, "But I had a good time. What are you guys doing here?"
"Cap and I came here to ask you a question." Tony spoke up confidently.
"What is it?"
Suddenly, both Steve and Tony grabbed one of your hands, startling you slightly.
"Y/N. We really like you. A lot."
"And we want to know who you like back." They pulled you closer to them, gripping your waist in a possessive manner.
You looked back and forth between both of the men standing before you, clearing your throat roughly. You've known for some time now that they had a crush on you. It wasn't hard to tell.
You liked both these men a lot. Though the way you liked them was different than the way they loved you. Their obsession ran deep and there wasn't anything they wouldn't do for you.
"...I kinda like both of you." You said and watched them closely for their reactions
"Well, we don't mind sharing you," Tony declared, "You want to be ours, right?"
"Yeah, I'll be both of yours." Oh, you didn't know what saying those words would do to the genius and the blonde.  All you wanted to do was take a nap after the crazy day you had.
And that's what you did.
You fell asleep in a matter of minutes as Tony and Steve laid on both sides of you, cuddling with you in content.
"Didn't I tell you that everything would work out perfectly?" Tony questioned.
"I hate to say it, but you were right, Tony. And I'm glad that you were right." Steve responded, wrapping his arm tighter around your waist and kissing your neck.
Once you left the lab, Tony and Steve could only think about the fact that you were going on a date with some guy and they couldn't let that happen.
They didn't want to do this, but they created a partnership of sorts to make sure that no one else could have you. They didn't want to share you. Both of them wouldn't stop trying to win your heart and kill each other. But, you know what they say.
Sometimes, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Everyone wants to at least fuck you. I mean just look at you, so they needed to work together to make sure you were theirs, and theirs alone.
Tony had placed a 24/7 tracker on you when you first joined the Avengers with audio and video. He was able to track and see you all the time.
Watching as you laughed and talked with Tyler like he was your whole world sent both men bubbling with anger.
Using his connections and wealth, Tony hired someone to put a drop of poison that he created himself in Tyler's drink which would kill him in a few minutes.
Steve ended up killing the person who Tony hired to do it. They couldn't have him telling anyone about what they did.
You messed with their minds with only a look and they couldn't help, but love it.
Tony has been with plenty of men in the past. None lasted long since he was a playboy, but no one ever made him feel this way and he couldn't let you go.
Steve was pretty much familiar now with the concepts of same-sex couples. And when he first laid eyes on you, a man, he knew that you needed to be right in his arms.
And now, you have given yourself to both of them. Oh, you didn't know what you just did because you were with them forever now.
Escaping is impossible and they would do anything to make sure you belonged to them. They had no intention of ever letting you leave them.
