I was sitting on a chair during set waiting for the rest of the beta squad to get here. i was waiting for a little bit but i was also waiting for y/n and filly to get here since they also were gonna be in our vid.

i had known y/n since i first started youtube and making vids with chunkz. she was in our videos and was well known by everyone. i had liked her back then and i feel the feelings coming back. i know people can tell since they always have to open their mouths and say something in the comments.

when everyone finally got there we got sorted into teams. basically the video we were filming was guessing the police officer. we all got situated and obviously i sat next to her. (😝)

i was on set to film a beta squad video. i’ve been in some videos and the past and ofc ppl love me. one small thing i noticed were the comments about me and aj so i want to keep my eye on him. i do like him and i figured he liked me too by the comments 🤷‍♀️.

i arrived on set and gave everyone a hug. lastly, i went up to aj and surprisingly he let me hug him so that suddenly made me remember the comments and keep an eye out. i sat down and waited for everyone to get their stuff on so we could start!

when the video started i took a quick glance at aj and noticed him staring at me but i ignored it and decided to ask the people in front of us questions.

we just finished filming the video and i was lowkey exhausted but since i didn’t have a license i had to wait till sharky was done since i came with him. (let’s pretend they all live together still cause i miss when they did😓)

while i was sitting on a chair, y/n came up to me. “hey you want me to take you home i’m already taking niko?” she said. i sat there for a minute but finally snapped out of it. “yeah sure ofc” i said and shot up. i looked next to me and saw chunkz snickering at me. i flipped him off and followed her and niko to the car.

niko lets me sit in the front so i sat there and played music i knew y/n likes 😝. i looked at her for a sec and wanted to tell her right then and there that i liked her but niko was in the back and i was very very nervous.

i was driving both niko and aj back to our house (btw you guys also live there pretend ur close with one of the best squad members and they let you live there 😘) i pulled up and waited till both of them got out so i could lock the door. while they were both getting out i made eye contact with aj and lowkey got butterflies cause he’s such a cutie.

i always wanted to know if aj really did like me based off the comments i read and the videos i see. i mean who wouldn’t (jk unlesssssss) he seemed like he did but i wasn’t gonna make the first move. if he initiated it i would obviously say yes.

it’s been like two hours and all i’ve been doing in my room is debating on whether or not i wanna tell y/n how i feel about her. it’s taken me a couple of weeks to to even acknowledge the feelings i had towards her and now i think i finally made my decision.

i got up out of my bed and finally decided to go and walk to her room. when i made it to her door i knocked on it and quietly stood there waiting for an answer. when she finally opened the door she looked at me and said “hey aj, what’s up?” i quickly answered back “uhm… i wanna tell you something that’s been on my mind for a little while.”

i’m gonna start this off with saying that kou minamoto is literally my favorite character ever so don’t think i’m doing this because i hate him i just think about him way too much and this is where i end up after thinking for too long

i have SO MUCH to say about this but i’m gonna throw it under the cut bc i don’t wanna catch ppl off guard with my insane bullshit

alright SO

first off kou definitely should’ve died during the pp arc just for shits and giggles. it would’ve been like a “what the fuck just happened” for every character and the whole fandom and the chaos that would’ve ensued from the death of a major character would’ve been absolutely WILD- like bitch just killed himself. he straight up committed suicide. there’s no way of rephrasing that bc that’s what he did. it would’ve been a plot-shattering moment and really just heartbreaking and awful and aidairo could’ve done so much with it.

for one, mitsuba would’ve been very Not Ok because he would’ve blamed himself for kou dying and he’d definitely try to gaslight himself into believing kou was still alive- that would not work btw he’d just be in insane denial

anyway imma move on from that arc even though i could go into it so much deeper and focus on things that i could see happening just to make the story hella interesting (i’ve been very tempted to write a fic about this so beware)

i think the most likely ways kou would die would either be suicide or being killed by tsukasa. we’ve already seen him attempt to kill himself, thwarted by mitsuba then brushed aside for some reason, and i’m about to do a full ass analysis on why tsukasa should murder our boy :3

reiterating that I LOVE KOU MINAMOTO WITH MY WHOLE HEART HES PERFECT

okay so tsukasa. hes a silly guy. one of his main traits is he loves to fuck with people, right? right yeah whatever get to the point IM WORKING ON IT ok sorry anyway he’s silly right. he thrives off fucking people up as much as possible. since he knows fucking everything i’m gonna assume he knows how important kou is to mitsuba and, given the fact that it’s so easy to fuck with mitsuba, he’d know that messing with kou in some way would make the biggest impact. every way he messes up mitsuba’s (after)life doesn’t emotionally impact him for too long, given the fact that he and kou with it out every time. but what happens when we take out the support system? that’s what we wanna know.

so ofc tsukasa feels all silly goofy and takes out kou just for funzies. mitsuba is absolutely fucking destroyed in every way. he blames himself, duh. this splits off into 2 possible scenarios that i’ve created lol.

possibility one: mitsuba stays in his boundary for god knows how long, refusing to talk to anyone. eventually he goes to shijima, begging for a replacement kou. even if hes fake, it’s better than nothing, right? shijima understood his grief, in a way. so, she gave in. boom. kou copy. the rest was none of her business.

kou copy only knows what shijima knows about him, so let’s go with everything up until the end of the picture perfect arc. he has no idea about anything after, including the aquarium date, the far shore incident, and the supernaturals being banished from the near shore in the first place, and it’s fine that way. …right? well, that means he also doesn’t know that he’s supposed to be dead.

he keeps asking mitsuba when he can leave the boundary and go home, when he can go see senpai, when he can see his brother, and he’s very upset. mitsuba has no idea what to do. he was overjoyed to have his crush best friend back that he didn’t even think of what would happen after… he couldn’t let kou out of the boundary. that was out of the question. keeping kou here would make him miserable and make him hate mitsuba. so at this point they’re stuck in a cycle of shouting matches of wether or not kou is allowed to leave, periods of silence, and occasional truces because they both need someone to keep them sane, and who else can do it but each other?

possibly 2: supernaturals are a thing in this world, so why can’t kou be one too? even though tsukasa is the one who killed kou in the first place, mitsuba begs him to bring kou back, to make kou a supernatural just like mitsuba. mitsuba knows what being a supernatural feels like. he knows that just letting kou go would be so much better for the dumb blonde boy. he knows that kou deserves better than to be forced to live in a world that doesn’t want him anymore. but mitsuba is selfish. so tsukasa makes kou into a supernatural. for funzies, you know? he’d never worked with a human corpse before, so why not try out making one into a supernatural?

the process of making a supernatural is… messy. mitsuba now knows this, as he couldn’t look away from his boyfriend being made into one. it was horrific. i’m not gonna delve into it because i really don’t wanna think about that i’m so sorry my poor baby

just like with mitsuba, tsukasa didn’t have kou’s actual soul to work with, just supernatural parts and kou’s body. it was simply an animated puppet that looked like kou minamoto. “it’s fine,” mitsuba said, “it’s okay, he’s back, that what matters, right?” “it’ll be fine, right minamoto?” and as he looks to kou for support, all he gets in response is a blank look. he realizes, after staring in horror at the jagged scar on kou’s neck, that his vocal chords are absolutely fucked up beyond repair. he’d never hear kou’s voice again.

ur right in that a lot of them don't want blair to be, well, herself. as I said in my other meta post there's a lot of focus on how blair's "better" when she's with dan. she doesn't scheme, she doesn't do anything, really, except from talk about movies and artists. they think that this watered down version of blair is her true self, even though if u watch the previous 4 and a half seasons it's obvious that's just not true. they want blair to be this girl who's content to spend her days visiting museums and waiting around for dan who she's clearly not. there's nothing wrong with her that dan needs to fix, and chuck didn't corrupt her. she can be interested in art and movies and still scheme and be mean. there's no mutual exclusivity to any of her personality traits, they can all co-exist and are what make her blair. like chuck said in s2 it's stupid to want her to be anything other than what she is.

also, ur so right again in that they ignore blair's mental state. she's obviously not in a good place in s5 and probably shouldn't jump into any relationship after her divorce. but dan pushes her into it. throughout the show she belittles him, insults him, makes fun of serena dating him, and generally just doesn't like him. while they're dating she still doesn't seem that keen on him. there's talk of how she's happier and smiling all the time with dan, but she's not. she effectively throws a tantrum being seen out with him and she can't celebrate his career, she instead undermines and upstages him. her behaviour doesn't seem like someone who's found her perfect match. it seems like someone who's in a confusing transitional period of her life and clings to the nearest man, like she did with carter in s2. if dan was this great perfect man he'd say he couldn't date her right away, let her sort herself out. but no, he forces her to be more than just friends bc, where she's so isolated from everyone else, if she loses him then she loses her only support system (the fact that she becomes so reliant on dan humphrey in the wake of her miscarriage is something for another post) so she kind of has to get into a relationship with him, even though she's not ready mentally.

in terms of liking blair, I think that most d*ir fans like their own version of blair, instead of the canon version. this might be connected to them often preferring dan, and then they just project traits onto blair that aren't hers. I don't know why they don't do this to serena btw, bc her relationship with dan is significantly more important, and she was far more willing to do "ordinary" things with him than blair. ultimately I think they want d*ir, and blair individually, to be something they're not and were never going to be. d*ir isn't sethmer or paceyjoey or whoever else they compare them to. blair isn't someone they can shape into fitting their ideas like dan does, she's her own distinct character and if they don't like her then they should admit it instead of mischaracterising her

theres a line in one of the short stories that summarizes it really well, describing ougi as 'a puppet who had come to life.' and yeah, basically. it's implied to be after the ougi dark resolution so there i have even more ✨textual evidence✨ but like fr. its an incredibly apt description for ougi. if yotsugi is a doll, then ougi is a puppet, who has gained agency (and thats the thing, rgu and monogatari are giving these agency-robbed characters agency, thats what ougi dark did, and im like p sure thats what rgu is going to do i havent finished it lol but i did get sorta spoiled on the ending so i think its gonna. in monogatari... its more rocky i feel. its not cut and dry, its not like whoops you have agency forever completely now. its like you Kinda have it. you Maybe Mostly have it. it's complicated i'm writing about it)... i wonder when yotsugi will get her agency, but part of me wonders if nisioisins plan is that she wont. because she's a doll, she's too stuck, she's fixed to what others need her for, she can't work by herself. she hasn't "come to life" yet like ougi has (being a corpse might do that to you)

hi zadie my love! the issues of people saying your romanticizing certain behaviors need to also understand that this smau is for a MATURE audience i mean you literally make it so clear you do not want minors to interact. so many TV shows, movies, even books (all fiction btw!!!) are targeted for a mature audience so that people can understand what certain behaviors may be portrayed and it is up to the viewer/reader if they still want to indulge in the piece of art. you can understand not everything will align w your beliefs or be your cup of tea but there shouldn’t be people telling you that ur “romanticizing” and that you should “set a good example” bc you’re actually not responsible for that. your work is fiction, your work is also coming from a person in uni who writes in her free time. you are not putting out fiction for every person in the world to read and you do not have to put out work to fit every person in the audiences criteria!!! it makes me so upset that people can bash you when all they have to do is click off!!

i have a friend who’s jay bias and i recommended her ur jay smau and then she told me she’s not a fan of the daddy/little girl theme and that was it. she didn’t have to personally tell you she wasn’t a fan. she knows you’re a beautiful writer (bc i share some of my favorite parts of the CH smau to her) and that’s all that needs to be known.

also it’s very clear from the beginning of the smau that it is very topic heavy with many difficult themes even them calling out each others parental trauma from literally the first few chapters .. so if someone chooses to progress with the story they are aware and should take caution if something may trigger them

i want you to know that many people enjoy your work, especially me. if there’s a theme ppl don’t enjoy then they can click off or ignore it?! they shouldn’t tell you how to write your story.

OP in that rb isnt condoning fetishization - they're pointing out that ppl who qualify attraction to fat ppl as having to be Pure (aka "so long as its not fetishy") are part of the issue when it comes to the dehumanization of fat ppl.

to answer ur original ask: the original post wasnt implying that its ok to not like fat people bc theyre fat/prefer thin bodies because they're thin (i cant remember ur exact words but i think that was what u were asking abt). from what i understand OP is saying that when ur attracted to a fat person, not ignoring their fatness isnt disrespectful. example: my wife saying part of the reason she is attracted to me is because my body is bigger than hers is NOT disrespectful!! her appreciating my body and kissing and groping my belly and rolls before sex the way she kisses or gropes my hips, chest, arms, and all other parts of my body is NOT a bad thing!! her sharing that love of my body and describing my body as fat and having rolls and jiggling is not bad!!! [all of these things are true facets of my wifes attraction to me btw] she loves me REGARDLESS of my size - not in SPITE of my size.

people can be attracted - sexually or non-sexually - to fat people and acknowledge that fatness in their attraction without it needing to be qualified as not being a fetish. if you are confused read that sentence but replace the trait of being fat with being trans or disabled or autistic or short or literally ANY other descriptor and hopefully that helps make it make more sense.
