Young Ford literally shoved that journal in Stanleys hands, giving him no other choice other than accept it and just do what he was told, while later on Ford held out their childhood picture, waiting till Stan accepted it himself.

Ford pulling out that journal from the left side of his coat which represents logic, but then after the development - pulling out their childhood picture from the right side, which represents feelings.

I'm talking about brain Hemispheres, whose side of the brain is responsible and dominant for one exact action.

Yes, this topic can be arguable, because, from viewers perspective their right is our left and the opposite, BUT

above I spoke from our perspective, but even in such switched around context you can easily adjust this statement.

Young Ford pulled out that journal from HIS right side because he was acting up on his feelings. He was in pain, he was suffering simply for trusting someone, which resulted in getting pathenically used and manipulated, and only hope he had left was to reach out to his brother, whom he openly loved and cared about at some point.

Older Ford reaches out their childhood picture from HIS left side, because believe it or not he's finally rational. He sees the full picture and decides to make the RIGHT decision.

THAT'S the result of making the right choice. The difference in the reaction is everything for me.

(it took him lil over 40 years + to witness and get tortured at the end of the world by one eyed demon...... that man is too much of a stubborn and vindictive hoe.)

This post is getting too long but I wanna address my opinion towards Fords "right" choice/desicion I mentioned above.

Right choice wasn't to go sailing with his brother, but rather than to make up with him.

None of them were fully right and none of them were fully wrong, it's complicated and that's what I adore about their characters.

Ford is flawed in the head, which was supposed to represent his brilliance and superiority

While Stan is flawed in the heart, which was supposed to represent his so on "grumpy" and "unloving" nature for the whole show.

Both of them were hurt, and none of them knew where to properly direct it, which at the end caused the incident with the portal.

Bonus:

Stanley raised his hand to reach out for his bro only AFTER Stanford closed the curtains on him, which means Ford probably continued looking at the whole thing, quietly peeking from his window, not to dare and go against their fathers desicion.

He basically has the image of his strong, firm, and hotheaded brother looking at him full of heartbreak, imprinted in his head, and won't even allow himself to forget it. Even after 10 whole years.

He can't forget, he didn't deserve to forget it.

Guilt does a lot to a person, both of them were guilty, and also both of them were stubborn, which means that none of them will or would ever admit it.

The fact that Kamek tried to kidnap Mario and Luigi as babies together, intending to kill them so they wouldn't be a nuisance to Bowser in the future, only to end up seperating them and cause both babies extreme separation anxiety for the rest of their lives, but also inevitably made their bond even stronger.

Listen, CANONICALLY I understand there's no other way for the situation to end like this, but SERIOUSLY, all Touya needs is a hug from his little brother, that's it. I love these two so much, and I think they'd share a strong brotherly bond.

I have a personal headcanon that Tails would be afraid of chickens.

Not like he wont go near them, its they will all gravitate and chase him. If any of you have chickens, youll know exactly what i mean when you have a bucket of feed, a basket of their eggs, or anything THEY want 😅

Now a couple isnt bad, but chickens tend to come in flocks. Large flocks and they will chase and flap at you.

So i like to imagine a young Tails going to a farmyard somewhere. Sonic is talking to the farmer and he suddenly hears yelling, turns around to see a giant flock of birds chasing his brother whom has the bucket of grain.

Trust me, I know how you feel

finished Tails the Beast for my Stories Untold AU.

All characters have been sucked into a fairytale world and are forcibly taken into these roles. The roles they take seemingly being connected to themselves in some way. Here Tails is The Beast/Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast.

There wasnt much i really wanted to change, i already loved the original. Even know i kinda wish i made his arms a bit thicker, but my biggest concern was height.

As seen in the old concept, i intended him to be freakishly large but he was TOO tall.

He's meant to be about the same height as the werehog.

Also his cloak is torn because before Sonic found him and he woke up like this. First thing he thought was that he was having a nightmare which was turning out to be real. Claws too sharp for someone who grabs themselves as a fear coping mechanism.

The thing us Tails fans love about this character is his growth to overcome his own mental and physical insecurities. Heavily playing into him being bullied and ostracized for his twin tails.

Another is the brotherly bond, which we honestly need more of in current media. Theres never enough!

In my AU, Tails still struggles a lot to accept the fact that he's not veiwed as a deformed freak. He has grown, but this new involuntary form sets him back 10x.

He is not only an outcasted, anxiety ridden freak (your not honey, just making a point), but now he has huge teeth and claws, his fur is rough, his size is doubled and his voice scares him.

...hes a monster.

But not to his own brother he's not, in the midst of a panic attack once Sonic sees his baby brother for the first time after this entire fiasco. He sees himself. He sees his own experience as a Werehog. He knows how he feels and by god his brother wont feel the same way he did at first.

In the eyes of all who love him, Tails has never been a freak of nature. Hes never been a monster. Hes not scary, he just has new temporary quirks.

Like how Tails saw his big brother in the werehog. Sonic sees the brave, scared little fox child he has raised and loved all these years. He sees Tails

From the size of a mouse to a werewolf (fox), nothing will ever change who Tails is.

Hes still smart, hes still kind, hes still sensitive.

He is still Tails. And Sonic is there to ensure and encourage it.

I have yet to figure out a true storyline for this AU, but this is the part that i honestly love the most. Characters, relationships, overall plot i have down but its just not A to B to C.

AU WHERE:

Dick grayson sees Danny in an alley late at night when he’s patrolling and fully believes it’s Jason.

Dick as nightwing: “Little wing..?”

Danny looks up from the trashcan he was riffling in looking for spare parts behind a bestbuy: “..wha-“

Dick, tackling Danny in a giant hug: “I- I thought you were- oh Jason!”

Danny just accepts this bc as the ghost king he sometimes has the tendency to look like other ghosts..: “Oh- uh.. there, there..?”

Dick eventually figures out that Danny isn’t Jason when he tries to take him to the manor, and Danny has to awkwardly fess up that he’s not actually Nightwings dead younger brother, but he might be able to find jason’s soul, being the king of the infinite realms and all.

Danny and Dick go on a crazy adventure looking for Jason.

OF. COURSE. and bonus RED spyper stuff too!

i don’t have very deliberate headcanons for a lot of freaks, but spyper is an exception because he used to be one of my very favorites :) he still honestly kind of is

i didn’t know how to include it, but another headcanon about spyper i have is that he has traits and habits that are “leftover” from the spy and sniper he used to be. his right pointer finger is twitchy and fidgety (a trait from sniper), and he chews on wheat as a substitute for cigarettes (sniper wasn’t a smoker, but spy evidently was and spyper gets nagging feelings of needing a smoke still).

the RED medic that sewed spyper together honestly did a shoddy job, since spyper still feels and thinks his body is rejecting his head. he often feels disembodied/disconnected in his own body. yknow… being two separate people grafted together and forming a third, new subconscious and everything. wicked stuff

and i don’t have a lot on RED spyper for now, but i do know that i think he’s a LOT more ‘stable’ of a hybrid than (BLU) spyper is. i wonder what his deal is
