Six the Musical
Guess who went to see Six the Musical with her older sister?! ME! I DID!
My sister heard the show was going to playing where we live, so we managed to get tickets weeks in advanced.
I heard a few of the songs and I'm obsessed with the song "Heart of Stone". I tried to listen to "All You Wanna Do", but couldn't get too far in that song, and I didn't really focus much on the other songs, since I was obsessed with "Heart of Stone".
When we got to the theater, we managed to get good seats, and the theater the show was playing was beautiful (For the sake of privacy, I won't say where)
And it was amazing! Everything to the singers, the costumes, the band, the story. All of it was incredible.
My only criticism was how loud it could be at times, so it made it hard to understand the lyrics at times and made me flinch sense I don't really like how loud it got.
But overall, the show was amazing, and they made it feel like an actual concert when they actually said our city name and spoke to the audience, I was not expecting that! I thought it would be the unusual musical show where they would perform and not acknowledge the audience.
And it definitely more invested in the songs. "Heart of Stone" is still my favorite, but the others were amazing, and "I Don't Need Your Love" is a close second.
And the song "Ex-Wives" gave me serious "Cell Block Tango" vibes.
So, I am super glad I went to see the show and I'll be spending the next few days listening the soundtrack over and over again.

SIX is Timeless Fun
For a concert-like night of theatrical fun, it would be hard to beat SIX. From the opening curtain to the rave-like closing, the energy is almost constantly high. SIX features an all-female cast of six phenomenal performers who sing and dance almost constantly during the 70-minute show (no break). Behind them, an all-female quartet rocks the Buell, along with a powerful light show. Assailing the…

Tonight I saw Mia Farrow and Patti Lupone in the Broadway show The Roommates. Absolutely incredible! At one point they slow dance and the intimacy I felt from them made me shed a tear.

i hope the pjo show makes lmm hermes. not him playing hermes; he IS hermes.
percy: you’re hermes? wait aren’t you that guy who wrote hamilton
hermes: i made a bet with apollo bc he said i wouldn’t be able to write a musical better than him. i needed to prove my superiority. artemis gave us each a topic to write about.
percy: what was his show about?
hermes: spider-man.
percy: there’s a broadway show about spider-man??
hermes: exactly.
