missed us ?? we didn’t go anywhere, but we simply couldn’t miss out on the havoc that happened at madam puddifoot’s this week. you know exactly what we’re talking about.

seems like those pesky little death eaters really got to you all, huh ?? but most of all we have our famous seven little hostages: ariella belefleur, ariadne mclaggen, brigid callaghan, ember fortescue, natalie davies, peggy carson and perseus mulciber. the damage that was done was pretty severe and just because we’d miss playing with you, we wish you all speedy recoveries. although we’re glad those death eaters gave you a little scare.

something we thought we’d shed a little spotlight on is our little ariella belefleur. or would you prefer macnair ?? that’s your real name, isn’t it ?? why are you so ashamed ?? i bet you don’t bare the name because you know you’re not worthy of it. i wonder what your parents think of you now.

that said and done, it seems like little miss wolffe isn’t having to grand of a time either. perhaps it’s time to close up shop, huh lucie ?? wouldn’t want another hostage situation in there. we can’t imagine it’s good for business.

Hostage Situation

HOSTAGES AT MADAM PUDDIFOOT’S !!

The Hogwarts Gazette has just been informed of a hostage situation taking place at Madam Puddifoot’s in Hogsmeade. Death Eaters apparated in to hold up the place and have yet to give any demands. Hit-wizards have put up charms to keep the Death Eaters from apparating out and anybody else from going in.

So far, the known hostages are Ariella Belefleur, Ariadne McLaggen, Brigid Callaghan, Ember Fortescue, Natalie Davies, Peggy Carson and Perseus Mulciber. The motivation for taking hostages is still unknown but a few of the hostages do have connections to famous Death Eaters.

Owner of Madam Puddifoot’s, Lucienne Wolffe, was not in the shop and is working with hit-wizards on the scene to try and find the safest way to get the hostages out and arrest the Death Eaters. The Hogwarts Gazette has been asked to inform viewers to remain calm and any further information will be provided as the situation progresses.

Ariella: Oh dear, looks like your secret is out and we were so very looking forward to spilling it ourselves. Oh well. Rest up dear, we aren’t done with you yet !!

Brigid: There are a few people who aren’t happy with you, Callaghan, but we are not any of them. We’re quite proud of your little outburst. We know your actions are only going to lead to more drama and we can’t wait !! 

Ember: BOR-ING !! That’s all we’ve got to say to you. We honestly would have forgotten you were a hostage if it wasn’t in the papers so much. Step up, darling, being forgotten is no fun.

Natalie: What a panic you caused. Daughter, boyfriend, “baby-daddy” and more. All worried about your well-being. It’s like they don’t trust you to stay safe. How does that make you feel, Davies ??

Peggy: What a first impression of England you got, Carson. You won best platonic couples costume and were held hostage. If you weren’t on our radar before, you are now. We’ll be in touch !!

Perseus: Look who finally put on their big boy pants but look where it got you huh ?? How frustrating it must be that you finally do something worth while and end up nearly dying as a result. Keep it up though Mulciber.

Gryffindor v. Slytherin Overview

GRYFFINDOR WINS !!

On this particular cold November day, Hogwarts students are getting wrapped up in the scarves, gloves and coats before making their way down to the quidditch pitch. Players and spectators alike are hoping it will be a good distraction from recent troubles and with the way the match turned out, we imagine it did provide temporary relief for some. Not all though as Slytherin captain, Brigid Callaghan has been asked to sit out from this match given her recent injuries.  Though able to captain her team from the sidelines, a substitute chaser is playing in her place.

Gryffindor were the clear winners from the beginning. Captain, Slughorn has big shoes to fill and has supposedly been drilling her teams endlessly to get them a win. Gryffindor chasers worked well together as a team with Rowland scoring three goals, Goldstein scoring four and the third chaser gaining their team an additional two scores. This brought their total up to ninety points before Slytherin even scored. 

It was at this point that the Gryffindor seeker decided to look for and go after the snitch. Potter, the Slytherin seeker, followed suit despite the last of points for his team. The three chasers, including Callaghan’s substitute, managed to scrape up fifty points for the snakes but by then the Gryffindor seeker had caught the snitch. The score at the end of the match 240 to 50 for the lions.

With Gryffindor and Slytherin being the winners of the Quidditch Cup in the last two years, is this an indication of what is to come? Or will Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw step up in the next match in two weeks time and take the title for themselves? Only time will tell.
