tags on my last post canceled. shrimptea (shrimpo x teagan) is really good but i see them as one specific dynamic: looney toons esque romcom. teagan picks the worst possible toon to romance and everyone is horrified for her. sprout stages an intervention bi-weekly. rodger, her ex husband, is working together with glisten to break them up- not because he wants her back, but because he cannot bear to see her with someone who has an unwashed ass. brightney and tisha are crying and begging her to join their polycule instead. finn is punching the wall angry that it should have been him. goob is sad for 5 seconds before instantly moving on. scraps is relieved because shrimpo is no longer a threat to her brother. astro sends her dreams of literally every other toon. shrimpo is only dating teagan because he likes the taste of the wood varnish on her bed and she lets him gnaw on it. he probably doesn’t even like women. do you see my vision. would anybody read this

I like to imagine they're very co-dependent. Like, if there was an episode where they were separated and got to experience living in a body of their own, they wouldn't like it much at all! In fact, I think they'd be pretty sad due to the absence of the other twin, maybe even fall into depression over it. Separation anxiety!!! Yay!!!

They find comfort in sweaters! They probably have a bunch of fun ones with fun patterns that are either completely symmetrical, perfect (Dazz's preference), or asymmetrical and wacky (Razz's preference)! Scarfs as well, they own a bunch of pairs.

If there were the case of a twisted restoration au (I've seen this one already, but I feel it's important since it's a really good one), they would have very horrible back problems due to the block keeping them rooted to the spot.

They would probably attend Looey (and his circus friends') shows! Razz would be super excited and cheering the whole time, and Dazz's heart would absolutely drop every time Looey did a risky stunt.

I like to think they are a part of Brightney's book club, a majority due to Dazz (as I assume Razz thinks it's boring), but I think Brightney has been able to find a few good book recommendations for Razz, and he hates to admit, but he enjoys them. I think that Dazz would be really into older history novels and the occasional Shakespearan-era playwright literature, whereas Razz would be into fantasy and comic books.

As far as LGBTQ+ headcanons go, hand in hand with gender, I like to see any/all pronouns Razz and they/them Dazz. Very peak. Razz doesn't care about gender, and Dazz is nonbinary. If you accidentally used the wrong pronouns on Dazz, Razz would correct you without hesitation -- 'he asked for no pickles!' style.

Entirely random, with zero context, they seem like they would enjoy jam-filled pastries, raspberry or strawberry flavor in particular.

They love telling stories to children at the learning center through theatre and acting! Dazz occasionally messes up their lines and gets nervous, but Razz is their number one fan and continues to urge them forward. Sibling support!

Dandy: Whatever makes him feel the most approachable to you : ).

In theory I see him as unlabled/completely rejecting of any gender ideals given to him by his creators. He doesn't understand the concept of gender or love and later on hes sees them as concepts below him. Hes more of a chameleon who reflects what others assign him or whatever, whatever makes you easier to manipulate.

Hed be fine being entirely unlabled but if we were to assign for fun. Gendervoid Demiromantic/Loveless Aro.

- Dandy is very uh squishy (idk what the materials are for Prank flowers (specifically the squirting ones/clown ones (he doesn't squirt though he just squeaks))) and can hug pretty well (not as well as Goob but yeah). Usually engulfs Brightney in a bear hug when he sees her (later on the relationship maybe? idk)

- Dandy is more colder than Brightney, which makes him huddle up to her more when resting.

I’ve never heard of a prank flower before but the concept fascinates me-

So I checked out the roleplay mode in the new Dandy update and yeah, I like it! I played on a private server so I was pretty much alone but still!

The thing I like about the roleplay mode is the Toon rooms. Not every Toon got a room but the ones we can visit are still pretty cool! Also, they expanded on the fact that the Toons each have a codename (for example, Astro's codename is M-002).

My comments for each room under the cut.

Poppy's room is pretty cute! She has a drawing from Toodles hanging on her vanity, and she has some spare bows on one of her sidetables. She also seems to be a cola connoisseur.

Brightney's room doesn't seem to feature her own bio poster/introduction card, interestingly enough. There's also a to-do list that has everything marked off except "make a new to-do list". She's at least on top of her lightbulbs and batteries though.

Razzle and Dazzle having a projector came as a surprise to me. Other than that, no real comment (because I don't know what else to say about it).

Glisten's room was teased with the image of his vanity. Also, there's a box of donuts.

To the surprise of...no one, I guess, Goob and Scraps share a room together. Which one is R-004 and which one is R-005? I can't tell. Goob has a teddy bear on his bed, and Scraps has several balls of yarn on her side of the room.

Boxten has...a lot of boxes. He also seems to write out his thoughts on paper. Sure fits with his personality!

And finally...what on EARTH happened here!? I did expect punching bags and perhaps a few holes in the walls in Shrimpo's room, but the fact that there are holes that go ALL THE WAY THROUGH, no exterior shielding or nothing, is surprising! But then again, he's perpetually angry...

Anyway, that's all I have. Time to go hunt for Dandicus.

[Patch just softly trailed a paw on their back, trying to soothe even further.]

'There... Relax.'

[But that's when he tensed himself, as he saw something of a red light down the other side of the doorway. Dim for now, but very obviously heading their direction. He had known for a while the remnants of Brightney were on the floor, but Christ, he'd almost forgotten she actually posed a goddamned threat.]

'Oh. Goshdarnit.'

[He... Didn't want to disturb Vinnie off him, but he also really should be hiding. Would be poetic, losing himself to the thing that he lost Vinnie to, but it would also just be... Overall pathetic and avoidable. For now, he hunched over a bit, hoping that maybe the pot herself worked as cover?]

Another floor, another pair of twisteds, as always. Although, there was something off about this one, a sort of looming presence that was hard to find. Until the sound of choked garbles echo through the large projector room. Her footsteps are loud, although a bit harder to hear than that of the main twisteds. Vinnie. She stands tall, covered in constantly dripping ichor, the leaves that acted as her hair soaked with the substance. Her eyes are constantly filled with a panicked, desperate look, shaking constantly. The movements she made are jittery, anxious.

She doesn't spot him yet, instead wandering around the facility like a wild animal. I mean, she looked like one in this state. Bugs crawl all over her, writhing and emerging from the large cracks in her pot- oh god. The poor thing. It stamps around cautiously, quickly switching between a walk and a run constantly. Her footfalls become closer.. And closer. Distracted by the noise, his hands slip off of the wheel and the machine alerts loudly. What was left of Vinnie rapidly approached.

"GhhrKK-!!"

It choked out, ichor dripping from its broken pot. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. They rounded the corner, spotting him and.. Coming to a still. Their eyes lock onto him, the once sharp and alert pupils sharpening. She's a mess, no, something even worse than that.

[He tenses, spinning around, his back against the machine. He was so, so very dead. No way she recognized him, he was about to get mauled.]

'H-heeey... Vinnie..'

[Still, he called out. Maybe outta panic, maybe out of a silly thought that she's still there. He felt awful looking at them, ears pinned back, eyes soft through his panic.]

'Oh you poor, poor thing...'

[He muttered, voice wavery, almost. He could have ran, he had a freeway off to the other side, but something kept him there. Maybe guilt, of leaving her alone, of letting this happen. It shouldn't have. It wouldn't, if they had been together.]

Thanks for your patience, Toons! I have some general tips for blackouts up next! Hopefully this helps out with one of the more scarier floors to most. Let me get my good pens!

1. Don’t Panic!

A Blackout is when you enter a floor, and the lights go out. The electricity of this place isn’t very stable. Now, don’t panic! Whatever floor you’ve entered won’t change layouts, nor will the Twisted’s you encounter. Everything is still the same. Besides the uh. Lack of lights.

You’ll be equipped with a light to help you navigate. It’s a small radius around you to help ya see! I have no idea where these come from. Some Toons, such as Vee, Astro, and Brightney have even bigger lights that help them see, or even abilities to see other Twisted’s during one!

2. Walk Slow.

Twisted Toons can see you, but you may not be able to see them. So try and move slowly! Don’t go SPRINTING out in the open in case ones nearby. If you need help identifying which Twisted are on the floor, try and pick up a capsule or two! They always contain the name of a Twisted on the floor. I’d generally recommend finding good Loop points to hide behind when possible, and going from there. Be slow and be careful.

3. Look for Red!

This has two meanings! For the first one, the Machines. They have a red light that can be seen through the darkness once you get within their general radius. If they’ve been completed, it’ll show as Green. Head to those areas to complete machines, or focus on trying to stay hidden and get your bearings!

The second meaning is for Twisted Brightney. If she’s on a floor with a Blackout, she’ll grow really red! This can sometimes help if you trail behind her, as she can light the way!

4. Don’t Freeze!

One thing I’ve noticed is how people get super scared when a Blackout happens. They’ll freeze and refuse to move from that lil elevator. While this is fine, don’t make it a habit! It’s best to keep moving, finding places to hide or identifying threats can truly help! Not to mention you can’t leave a floor until all the machines are complete.

Take a moment to breathe. It’s going to be ok! Just focus on getting comfortable and start slow and steady!

If it makes you feel better, go with a friend! When multiple Toons stand together, the lights sort of work together to become even brighter. It never hurts to walk with someone until you get comfortable enough to center on your own!
