Me when I start crying hearing Transformers Prime music in the Transformers One soundtrack:

Just watched a video on YouTube where Demyacon interviewed Jason Scheier (the production designer of TFOne) and he confirmed that some sources of inspiration for the designs of Transformers One were: G1, Transformers Prime, and the War for Cybertron games…

Specifically he confirmed that transforming roads were inspired by the video games while the scene of Optimus’s axe was inspired by the TFP Star Saber scene….along with Sentinel’s soldiers being directly inspired by the TFP Vehicons.

Something I found interesting was that Scheier also recommended Brian Tyler for the movie bc he liked his music on Children of Dune. He actually forgot Tyler made music for TFP- and only realized that later… Which is such a cool coincidence
