love these guys
#i like how cringe they all are. like all of them are flawed & immensely cringe. no one's main is safe#they're cringe in different ways & some more than others but they're all cringe. love it#why are the fans for my two favourite soul fighter champions the autistic-coded ones !!#why are the autistic-coded ones the most unhinged....#though tbh i think you could make an argument for all 5 of them being autistic 😭#sommer's homemade jhin cosplay is so cute#they somehow managed to capture the exact brand of weird that jhin fans are. bravo#i think the funniest part about him is that jhin would not be able to stand him lmao#him wearing a shirt with the same art that's on the print he's holding makes me crack up for some reason#obsessed with the jacked yordle named rizz.... she's everything#also can i just say i love the crop top on guy. fantastic creative decision. so many crop tops in soul fighter i love it#kiri is crazy though what do you mean she's literally selling rpf at an event that the people she's writing rpf about are at#her repeatedly trying to get samira to read her fanfiction is kind of hilarious#& then she tells samira she's going to write fanfic about her. which is kiri's way of praising her. she is nuts (affectionate)#the way she keeps casually mentioning pyke totally kills people in this universe & she still adores him#she's the worst kind of fangirl (which is the point. they're all parodies) but it's hard to hate her lol she's so silly#my only issue with her is that she's a jhin hater.... how rude#i know her tumblr game goes crazy#the only character i'm confused by is jade. the lux fangirling felt really forced to me#it's not reflected in her design at all; honestly she looks more like evelynn#especially when riki guy & rizz & sommer are all clearly emulating gwen sett & jhin respectively#plus jade's shtick was more about parodying true crime & political content creators it seemed. the lux stuff felt tacked on#i guess it was because dema is after lux & jade doesn't like dema but it felt over the top at least#on top of the fact that it's pretty hard to make sjw characters actually funny#they should've made a dema bootlicker character tbh. for funzies#i think riot should publish some of kiri's fanfiction on the universe site. wouldn't that be silly#they could do one for each of them! a transcription of one of jade's podcast episodes; guy & rizz's training regimen; a poem from sommer#hope some of them show up in LoR sometime. just for fun#league of legends#soul fighter

𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞
summary: it's been years since Dieter last saw you, his childhood friend and the unrequited love of his life. still, he doesn’t blame you for leaving.
pairing: Dieter Bravo x gn!childhood friend!reader
warnings: angst but with a happy ending! mentions of drug use and alcohol but nothing graphic. w.c: 1.0k
an: for @punkshort AU August writing challenge, I was given the prompt, “childhood friend with Dieter Bravo” thank you so much for hosting! huge thanks to @ghotifishreads for letting me talk your ear off about this little idea that took on a life of it's own and for reading this over. ilu!
𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 ⋅ 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 ⋅ 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭
Dieter rubs a hand over his face as he steps from the SUV into a throng of flashing lights and frantic screaming. It was the premiere of his first directorial and writing debut; a lot was riding on this.
Sure, he'd won an Oscar and various other award nominations, but this was an entirely different beast. This movie was special to him. It was the first script he wrote after getting "clean." He always scoffed at that word. Clean. Was he pure and holy now simply because he kicked hard drugs to the curb?
He takes a deep, slow breath, adjusts his velvet purple suitcoat, and moves down the red carpet. He autographs cards and pictures, takes selfies, and banters with a few fans before moving on to the press.
It doesn't feel right being here alone, he thinks, his left side feeling raw and exposed like a wound that never healed.
After rewriting the script several times, he has his assistant mail it to a few studio execs before having them print out one last copy. He wrote down your name and told them to send you the script. He wanted to deliver it to you in person; it felt like the right thing to do, but he couldn't be sure you ever wanted to see him again after what he put you through.
He's stronger these days. Mentally and physically healthier. He's lost a bit of weight now that he's no longer downing pills and chasing them with alcohol. It took him a while to get used to feeling again. Sitting with the uncomfortable thoughts and not letting them take control. He's proud of himself. He thinks you would be, too.
You.
Seeing a large open field littered with red flowers while driving home from rehab for the second time kicked him square in the gut. Flashes of his youth came back in vivid, blinding colors.
Chasing his dog, Dali, around the yard. Playing with you in the field of wildflowers behind your house. His throat tightens.
You.
You were his reason. The sun he revolved around—inseparable childhood friends.
When you first met Dieter, he was covered in chalk dust, drawing funky, green aliens with big eyes on the sidewalk in front of his childhood home. You'd just moved in next door, and your Mother told you to go make friends. He looked at you in awe as you stood before him, the sun creating a golden crown around your head. "Wanna be friends?" you blurted before kneeling and pestering him about his chalk alien.
From that moment on, you were forever linked. Dieter never wanted anyone else.
From scabbed knees and hide & seek to strange body changes and long school days. Consoling Dieter after he's pushed into a locker, copying each other's homework, watching Dieter shine on the theater stage, and spending almost every minute together that you could.
He wondered if you ever felt the love he held for you—the love that surpassed sibling bonds and grew stronger every time he laid eyes on you. The love that made him self-conscious and shy away from speaking his truth despite years of yearning. He couldn't convince himself to jeopardize the friendship or that you might possibly feel the same.
Cut to Dieter asking you to move to LA with him to be his assistant once his star power steadily rose.
To the elaborate movie sets and lavish premieres, to the long nights and unspoken feelings.
To find Dieter on the floor with vomit spilling from his lips to the empty bottles of pills and booze splayed around his Hollywood Hills home.
The bickering, the raging parties, and the friendship that was slowly dying.
The shell of a man he used to be.
You were never around when he needed you the most after he drowned himself in booze and pills. He never blamed you. He was often inebriated, covered in a mess of sweat and other fluids. You could only stand to see him self-medicate for so long.
"I can't keep doing this," he remembers you saying as tears welled in your eyes and your bottom lip trembled while he sat in a crumpled heap at the foot of his unmade bed with that usual glazed look. "I can't keep trying to save you."
He remembers wanting to argue, to save whatever piece was left. He tried to chase after you, but his brain and body were still under the haze from the night before, limbs heavy as lead weights, and they no longer listened to his commands.
How your face twisted with a devastating sadness made his heart shatter. He never meant this to happen, for it to get this bad.
Had Dieter known the repercussions, that the last image he'd have of you would be wiping fallen tears that he caused from your cheeks, he would've gotten clean eons before. He would've let this version of himself die without a second thought. He wanted to be the man you counted on, with your best interests at heart.
The man you knew him to be.
—
Just as he's about to step into the theater, he hears a voice call his name—a voice that would wake him from the dead.
You.
His heart aches; it bursts with unnerving energy as he watches you approach. His gaze never leaves you as you glide across the room to where he stands, frozen. Could he be hallucinating?
"Hi D," his nickname sounds like heaven as it leaves your lips. He never wants it to end; he wants to hear it forever. "I'm sorry I didn't reach out sooner. I needed to make sure I was in a good headspace to see you again." You nervously wring your fingers, and Dieter can't stop himself from reaching out and locking your hands together, calming your combined anxious energy.
"It's okay," he whispers, throat tight, holding back elated tears, "I'm glad you're here."
A smile tugs at your lips, eyes shiny with your own tears. "Me too."
feel free to scream at me -> 💌

Bitter Allies • Part 1
"Bravo 7-1, this is Bravo 0-7, give me a sit rep on your position, over."
Soap is currently kneeling in some brush, staring at the small military camp in front of him when the radio call comes through. Despite the fact that he'd most likely need to be adjusting the volume up soon on his ear piece, he still turns it down a little for now.
"This is Bravo 7-1, I've been in position. Waiting on 7-4 to move her ass." He all but growls back to Ghost. His hand tenses on his rifle at even saying those numbers. Bravo 7-4.
You were Bravo 7-4. Also known as (y/n) "States" (l/n). The all too grumpy Sergeant by the callsign Bravo 7-1 was John "Soap" MacTavish. Also known as the biggest pain in your ass since you joined up with Captain Price's Task Force about six months ago.
Now anyone who knew Soap would be shocked to hear you say that you thought he was literally the worst and most insufferable human being to ever stain the Earth. To everyone else, Soap was a funny, charismatic, rather easy-going, and quite friendly guy. Everyone loved Soap. He was the golden boy of the Task Force, of the entire base. People were just naturally drawn to him, and his warm personality.
You can't say you blame people for being shocked when they learn just how much you can't stand him. Cause all those things about Soap were true. He was funny, and friendly, and relaxed, and just a great guy to be around. He was all those things when he wasn't around you. The second you stepped into the picture, his amused grin turned into a stiff scowl. His sparkling eyes turned hard. His relaxed posture turned rigid.
Yeah, John "Soap" MacTavish hated you. And you hated him.
Why did he hate you? You weren't entirely sure. It just seemed like it has always been that way since day one.
You transferred into the Task Force at the request of Captain Price himself. Originally, you had been stationed at a military base in the United States, where you were from. Then one day your commanding officer called you into his office and told you that you'd been given a new assignment. You would be working with a British Task Force across the pond for the next year. A group of four SAS men. If things worked out, then you'd be staying there indefinitely.
You'd been thrilled at the news. You didn't join the military only for the benefits and the opportunity to serve, but for the opportunity to travel and to potentially live somewhere else in the world. Getting to be that while also being SAS was the dream. You worked so hard to get to where you were today. Sleepless nights of studying, hard days of working out and trying to improve and hone your skills, and now it was finally happening. You were being sent off to a new base and a new team. And not just any team, an elite task force. You'd finally been selected.
You met the whole team day one of your arrival. The first person you met was Captain John Price. He was a friendly but very stern man. The no nonsense type of guy. He gave you a tour of the base, and showed you to the female barracks. Once you were semi-settled in (all your belongings piled into your room) you went to meet the other members of your new Task Force.
Price introduced you to each teammate. They'd all been in his office by the time you and Price showed up. Two had been seated, and one was standing despite there being enough chairs. That had been Soap.
"Alright you lot, here she is. This is (y/n) (l/n). Straight from across the pond." Price introduced you. "(Y/n), these are boys of the 141. This is Sergeant Kyle Garrick."
"You can also call me Gaz." Kyle fills in, giving you a nod and a handshake. "It's nice to have someone from the States joining us." He was the one responsible for your callsign being States.
"This is your Lieutenant. Simon Riley. He goes strictly by Ghost." Price continues. Ghost doesn't make a move to shake your hand. He just stayed quiet. Didn't even give you a nod of any kind. Quite intimidating coming from a guy wearing a skull over his face. "And lastly, this is-"
"Soap." The man barks out before Price can say anything. You remember hearing Price sigh before finishing his sentence. "Sergeant John MacTavish."
"You can call me Soap though. Nothing else." His voice was harsh, and carried a tone of warning. If you to call him by anything else other than his callsign, there were going to be harsh consequences.
His arms were folded across his chest, and he'd glared at you during the whole introduction. It made you so nervous, the reactions you got from both Soap and Ghost. Price assured you later though that they would come around. They just needed to warm up to you. He'd been 50% correct.
At the time, Ghost had been the most terrifying of three, and the one you worried you wouldn't be able to connect with (boy had you been foolish). At the time though, Soap had at least said something to you. Ghost never said a word or even acknowledged you. And when Ghost did talk to you, it was always in a gruff voice like you were annoying him. But over time, you came to realize that was just who Ghost was. It wasn't anything personal. He was like that with literally everyone. It was rare to catch him laughing or to hear his gruff voice become lighter.
Soap, on the other hand, also spoke to you the way Ghost did, but he only used that tone with you. He was so cheery and light when speaking with the guys. Even with strangers, his voice may have been slightly more gruff, but never as harsh as when he spoke to you.
His personality was vastly different around the others as well. Whereas he could joke, laugh, and relax around them, he was the opposite around you. You thought for a moment that maybe he was sexiest and just didn't like women, though every woman he spoke to around base, he was the kindest and most respectful guy.
Now six months later, not much had changed. Soap still spoke to you in a gruff voice. He still scowled when you entered a room. He still glared at you any time he needed to look at you. He had gotten more "comfortable" around you. But really that just meat he was far more comfortable with insulting you directly. From the way you shoot to the way you eat, he could find anything to gripe about. And eventually, you decided that if he was going to be difficult, then you'd return the favor.
The first time you insulted him back, he looked shocked, then just flat out angry. Your encounters went from quiet insults being thrown back and forth and dirty looks to all out yelling at each other. Never physical fights, but Soap had punched a hole in the wall during one particularly bad argument.
The others couldn't stand you fighting. Gaz would do everything in his power to keep you separated and distracted from each other so you wouldn't start. Ghost tried to never be involved, but he would sometimes break up the fights by using his scary lieutenant voice and sending you both to different parts of the base to cool off. Price... he got the most upset. He was normally so calm under pressure but hearing you and Soap bicker pushed him to the limit. He'd yell at you both until he turned red and then normally punish you by making you do extra cleaning, harder workouts, or something else just as labor intensive.
You lost count of how many times you'd been in his office with Soap, getting reprimanded on your behavior. One of the worst had been when Soap actively tried to get you kicked off the team while you were sitting right there.
"She is a right pain in the arse, Price! I didn't even start it this time!" He claims, doing everything he could not to look at you.
"Oh blow it out your ass, Soap. You were giving me a look."
"Then don't fucking look at me." Soap growls through his teeth.
Price slams his fist onto the table, making you both jump a little and halt your bickering for a moment. "Can you two shut the hell up? It's just constant with you. I have had a headache for five fucking days cause of you idiots. What is it going to take for you two to get along?"
Soap is quick with his answer. "All this could be solved if you just deported her little ass back to the US. Seriously Price, she's caused nothing but trouble since she got here."
"I am right here, Soap." You huff out a laugh, not too shocked he'd say something like that though.
"I wish you weren't." He throws back, making Price intervene again.
"Enough! She's not going anywhere, Soap. Whether you like it or not, she brings in a skill set we are missing in this team."
"Like hell she doesn't! We can find someone else." He argues, earning a glare from Price.
"She is staying. I signed a contract that she stays for a year. If we break that, we lose our funding, our reputation, and a whole lot more." Price says, making Soap cross his arms and sit back in his chair.
"So after however many months she has left, we can get rid of her?"
"You'll be lucky if I keep you once your contract expires!" He shouts at Soap, which shuts the Scot up. Sighing, Price continues. "I will reassess at the end of year once States' contract has expired." He says more calmly, which makes your heart sink and Soap smirk.
You were dismissed then, but Price had you stay back. Probably to keep you and Soap from walking with each other, but he also has a few words for you. He reassured you that you were doing great. That you truly did bring a lot to their team and that he was happy to have you there.
"Are you going to send me back at the end of the year?" You'd asked him before you left, looking over your shoulder by the door while he stayed seated at his desk.
"Don't worry about that now, States. But know, I like having you here, and remember, it takes both of to sign the renewal contract."
That gave you hope. Price most likely would want to keep you, but he was also going to leave it up to you to decide whether or not you wanted to stay. At the same time, if things continued the way they were, it wasn't going to be good for team morale. If Price had to pick between you and Soap, you were sure he'd pick Soap. He'd been with the team longer and knew them far better than you did. This was your dream though. Being SAS. It could take years before you got another team. You liked Price, Ghost and Gaz. Could you live with Soap?
That meeting was only three weeks ago. You'd been with the Task Force for almost six months. Halfway through.
Your current mission landed you in Naryn, Kyrgyzsta. You were hunting down a military leader, General Azamat, who was accused of doing an illegal arms deal with Russia. Photos and weeks of gathering intel suggested he was guilty and currently at this military base in Naryn.
This was purely a stealth mission first. You and Soap were tasked with infiltrating the small military base while Ghost provided overwatch. There were three security stations. One on the East, what Soap was in position for, the South, the one you were headed towards now, and the West, where you and Soap would meet to take out the last one.
The East and South stations were backup generators and needed to be taken out first before the main one to the South was. That way you kept the element of surprise and didn't need to worry about the backups going online. After that, your troops would push in and secure the base, capture the military leader, and you could all go home.
Soap had given the update on his position, saying he was where he needed to be, about two minutes ago. Two fucking minutes ago. And he was already griping that you weren't to your position yet. His words rang in your ear through your comm earpiece.
"This is Bravo 7-1, I've been in position. Waiting on 7-4 to move her ass."
"Calm down, I'm almost fucking there. Don't be so impatient." You growl back. "Seriously Ghost, how do you even deal with him?"
"Haad yer wheesht." Soap growls at you, some Scottish slang you don't understand. No doubt he was telling you to shut the fuck up or something along those lines.
"Either speaking fucking English or don't speak, MacTavish." You bark, voice getting a little too loud for a stealth mission. Even if you weren't too close to the camp yet, there could be patrols you needed to be mindful of.
"How about you fucking learn about other's cultures and then we wouldn't have this problem. And don't call me MacTavish."
"I do know about other's cultures! I just don't care to know about the one that you came from." You throw back before Ghost gets involved.
"Shut it. Now. Not another word. Fuck's sake." You could practically see Ghost shaking his head. "States, how long till you're in position?" Ghost asks, directing attention back to the mission.
"Give me two minutes."
"Bloody fucking Jesus." You hear Soap mummer through the comms.
You take a deep breath to try and focus your energy back on your current tasks. Soap was not going to get in your head and mess this up for you. For anyone else, he would have stayed quiet. In fact, it probably wouldn't have even bothered him.
"Hold up, 7-4." You hear Ghost say to you after about 30 seconds of creeping your way to your position. "You've got a small patrol further up from your position. Just over the hill. Two men, I don't see anyone else. When you're in range, get a good shot of one, and I'll dump the other for you."
"On it. Thanks Ghost." You whisper back, readying your rifle and trying to be as silent as you can while you approach the men.
"You telling me it's gonna be even longer now." Soap complains, making you roll your eyes.
"I'm sorry your side didn't have rough terrain or anyone to fight off, Soap." You tell him sarcastically. "Some of us didn't get the easy baby route to take."
"I'll have you know I took down two fucking patrols all by myself while I made my way over here. And I didn't have Ghost's help to do it either."
"Fuck you." You growl at him.
"What did I bloody fucking say?" Ghost growls, his lieutenant voice coming out. You curse yourself as you let it happen again. Just ignore the Scot and focus on what's ahead.
"In position, Ghost. I see them. Clear sight on both, your call."
Ghost does the quick calculations in his head as he prepares his shot, trying to determine which of the two men he had a better chance of taking out. "The one with the flashlight is mine. Dump is mate. In three, two..."
You both took the shot, Ghost pulling his trigger just a millisecond before you to account for the distance. He landed a clean headshot while your first bullet landed more in the shoulder of your guy. You took a quick second shot, which finished the job with another headshot.
"He's down. Clean shots. Though try for the head first next time." Ghost quips. There was no malice in his words. Just Ghost joking around to ease tension. Soap clearly needed to take lessons from Ghost on how to tell a joke without being a total ass about it.
"Noted. Thanks for the advice, 0-7." You banter back, earning a scowl and an eye roll from Soap.
"Less talking, more getting to where you're supposed to be." Soap cuts in, ending the fun you'd been having with Ghost.
"Don't get your skirt in a knot. I'm in position." You huff, pulling out your binoculars and scouting the area. Despite this base housing a military leader, and having two back up generators, they really didn't have much security. No walls, no floodlights. Just a few patrols outside. They weren't expecting trouble.
"It's a bloody kilt. Not a skirt." Soap seethes, his jaw clenched. At this rate, he wasn't going to be able to finish this mission. Everything about you was just pure annoyance to him.
"Yeah whatever you want to tell yourse-"
"Are you two going to be able to finish this mission or am I going to have to pull you both from it?" Ghost barks over the comms, clearly fed up now.
You feel your face flush hot in embarrassment. Ghost has never threatened to remove you from a mission before. You've always been good and reliable. You can't fail and have it on your record that you were pulled from a mission due to not being able to get along with others. That was a death sentence for your career with the SAS.
"No, sir. Sorry, 0-7." You apologize, not hearing anything from Soap's end. He was probably pouting and internally cursing you for getting him in trouble, even though this was all his fault. "Going to head out for the South station. Bravo 7-4 going dark." You turn your radio from the public channel between you three to a private one used only for emergencies. At least now you wouldn't be able to hear Soap for a little bit.
Soap hears your radio beep once, signaling to him you'd disconnected for a moment while you advance towards your target goal. Once you had, he huffs and takes a moment to squeeze his eyes shut and collect himself.
"I can't fucking stand her, Ghost." He complains to his friend. "Why the hell did Price ever think it was a good idea to put us together on a mission?" He looked out into the field, making out the little shadow of you making your way slowly to the base.
"She's part of the team, Soap. Price has his reasons. Just focus on the mission and make it work." Ghost replies, not offering too much help aside from stating the obvious and putting Soap's mind back in the field. "Better get going. Your path is clear right now."
Soap sighs heavily and stretches out his neck a bit by tilting his ears toward each shoulder. One side pops a little, only relieving a little tension. "Alright. Bravo 7-1 going dark." He clicks his radio to the private channel and begins to make his way to the East backup generator's building.
By the time Soap reaches his building, you are already working your way inside the South building thanks to the small head start you got. You stick to the shadows as much as you can, thoughts wandering to Soap from time to time. Wondering if he's cleared his building already or if he ran into trouble. Then again, if it was really bad, he could have contacted you or Ghost and there would have been alarms going off. And as much as you hated him, you had to admit he was really good at this kind of stuff. Sweeping through a place and clearing it out. Quick and clean. Of course he'd never ever hear you utter any praises directed at him.
Your building wasn't too heavily guarded. You assumed most of their men were either asleep in the barracks, standing guard of where the military leader was staying, or off patrolling areas they deemed more important than the backup generators. The main building to the West would have most of their patrols since it was the more important building. That was the reason you and Soap needed to work on clearing it together.
You managed to clear your building fairly quickly with only one close call. One guard had seen you shoot someone else, but you managed to take them out before they could radio for backup, and no one seemed to have heard him yell. Once cleared, you plugged in the flash drive and uploaded the virus it contained to make the generator go offline.
You bring a hand to your radio and speak into it. "This is Bravo 7-4, generator down, South building secure. I repeat, generator down. Heading to the West building to the rendezvous now." You begin to head out the way you came in as Ghost speaks to you over the comms.
"This is Bravo 0-7. Confirm. You're all clear." Ghost responds.
"You got a sit rep on our precious Bravo 7-1?" You ask, forgetting to switch over from the private channel. You duck behind some ammo boxes and sneak along them, not expecting to get an answer from Soap. You expected him to be busy still and not on the public channel that you thought you were on. Before Ghost can answer, 7-1 graces you with a response.
"States, shut your fucking mouth and switch your radio over to public. How the hell did you get selected when you can't even use a damn radio." He snarls, making you pause. Soap's words always kinda stung a bit, but some more than others.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Am I not allowed to have a sit rep on you?" You ask, ignoring your slip up of being in the wrong channel.
"No." He answers flatly, making you sigh and roll your eyes. So much for working as a team. "And switch-"
You switched over while he was mid sentence, not wanting to hear his grating voice anymore. You were getting a little worn down at this point. It wasn't like you enjoyed arguing with Soap as much as you did. It was exhausting. Being out in the field where you were already stressed was making it a lot worse.
"He's almost done." Ghost answers you, keeping you updated since Soap clearly wasn't going to. "Just head to the rendezvous, States."
You grumble softly but do as you are told. You mutter a "copy" into your radio before slowly and carefully making your way to the rendezvous. You hear a soft beep shortly after, signaling Soap had reconnected to the public channel. You try to avoid using your radio after that, even skipping check-ins since it seemed that Soap was going to make any use of your radio an unpleasant experience. Though eventually you do need to give an update that you were at the rendezvous, that way Soap wouldn't shoot you.
You move to the side of a building and crouch down. "Bravo 7-4 approaching rendezvous." You sigh to yourself before adding, "Bravo 7-1, please let me know when you are on your way."
"I'm already here. Look to your bloody right 7-4." You look almost directly to your right, which is met with an annoyed sigh. "Not that far. Back to your.. straight.. just- Fucks sake, by the crates!"
"You're not giving me good directions!" You silently yell back, still looking for him.
"By the crates! The only crates in the area! I'm practically in the open."
You see him then. His stupidly handsome face turned into a scowl and his piercing blue eyes glaring at you. He was not in the open, only his head poking up from the crates. You sent the same look right back to him and make your way over, looking around and making sure the way was clear so you wouldn't compromise your position. He was kind enough to at least raise his gun and cover you as you made your way over. Once behind the crates, back pressed to them, he relaxes his position and ducks behind them with you.
"States, look at me," Soap says, his voice deep and gravely. The only tone he ever seemed to use with you. "I want this done clean and easy. No fuck ups. You're going to follow my lead and stay out of my way. And I don't want to hear a single word from you unless it's mission related. You got that?" He lectures you.
You are so, so tempted to roll your eyes at him. He was talking to you like you were a marine fresh off selection. Not a five year veteran who was selected for an elite special forces team. He didn't even outrank you by that much. Not enough to make a real difference. The only thing he had up on you was experience and maybe two years in age.
You're silent for a long moment, glaring at him until he repeats himself a little.
"Do you understand?" He annunciates each word, and you swallow down the choice of words you had for him. This wasn't the time or place for that. You were in the middle of a mission that could go belly up and turn dangerous. You didn't need to be fighting the sergeant on this.
"You got it." You say tightly, mustering up all the strength you possessed not to say more than that to him.
Soap seemed surprised you agreed so easily, but he eyes you suspiciously for a moment before nodding. "Good." He nods before reaching for his radio. "Bravo 0-7, this is 7-1. Going in. Rest of the troops be ready in five minutes and wait for the signal."
"Copy, 7-1." Ghost confirms. "Be warned, I see multiple troops in the vicinity of the West security building. Some men have different uniforms. They look to be General Azamat's men. He could be in there."
You furrow your brows at that. You were expecting a lot of troops in that area, but the military leader you were after wasn't supposed to be in there. There was a bunker in the middle of the camp that he was supposed to be in. It wasn't going to be a significant change the mission though. It just meant your job had become a lot harder. More men to clear out without raising alarm.
"This is Bravo 7-4, 0-7 what's the best way in?" You ask, refusing to look at Soap. You saw his head turn to look at you from the corner of your eye.
"If you wanna come home looking like Swiss cheese I'd go with the front door. Around the back might be your best shot, but I can't get a clear view from my area." Ghost informs you.
"Can you reposition and-"
"No." Soap immediately cuts you off, making you glance to him. "We don't have time for a reposition. We need to move before they realize their backup generators have been breached."
"You just don't like it cause it was my idea." You accuse, watching as Soap visibly becomes agitated.
"I don't like it cause it's a bloody stupid idea!" Soap says through clenched teeth. He was getting right in your face. You were about to tell him off until Ghost's voice filled your left ear.
"Soap's right. There's no time. Head to the back and make due with that entry point. We'll go loud if we need to."
Soap wore a smug look as Ghost sided with him. You despised it. "See? Told you it was a stupid idea." He reiterates, still way too close for comfort.
Your anger flared, and you shoved him back with a forearm to his chest. He reacted instantly, grabbing your arm and flinging it away as if it had burned him. The movement was so quick, it surprised you a bit, and all you can do is stare at him with wide eyes.
"Touch me again, and you're going to regret ever signing up for the military," he growled, his finger jabbing the air between you before standing up and storming off without attracting too much attention.
You're left stunned for a moment, though you're not sure how you thought he was going to react to you pushing him. Within a matter of seconds, you gather yourself, reminding yourself that you were still in enemy territory and needed to focus. With a reluctant sigh, you followed after him.
You managed to make your way to the back of the West Building with Soap without too many complications. The most you needed to really do was duck behind some parked trucks as a military jeep rolled by. It exited the compound, likely heading out to meet a patrol for a shift change.
You and Soap didn't say a single word to each other the whole way. For a stealth mission, that was preferable. However, you could feel the tension between you and Soap. Disdain was radiating off him, and you didn't want to get too close to him in fear he was going to blow up at any second.
There's a line up of vehicles that serve as your cover for the time being as you sneak along one side of them. Suddenly, you nearly collide with Soap when he abruptly raises his hand, signaling you to stop. There's a group of four men all standing in a small circle, talking and smoking together. They're isolated from other groups but taking out a group of four could be very difficult to do.
Soap takes a few steps back, waving for you to back up as well. "We can't take that group out by ourselves, we're going to have to go around." He tells you in a hushed voice as you attempt to peak around him to get a good view of the targets blocking your path.
"It's only four. We can both take out two." You suggest, but, just like all your other ideas, Soap is fast to shut that one down too.
"Not a chance. You suck at hitting multiple headshots." He accuses.
That makes your blood begin to boil. You were not the God awful shot he made you out to be. In fact, back on your base in the US, you were considered to be one of the better shooters.
"I don't suck at making headshots." You glare, making him huff at you.
"Oh really? You missed the one earlier. Ghost managed to hit it from hundreds of meters away, and you bloody miss from a few feet. Your aim is absolute dog shite, States. I'm not going to have you mess up this entire mission cause you think you're better than you are."
His voice was harsh, as always, and his glare was biting. You felt your eyes burn as tears formed, but you refused to let Soap see you cry. He'd only roll his eyes and call you a baby. Crying would only give him more reasons to think you didn't belong here, that you weren't as good as the rest of them.
There were so many things you wanted to say to him in that moment, but you couldn't. The words got caught in your throat, and you feared that if you opened your mouth, a sob would escape. All you could do was look away and clench your jaw, masking your hurt feelings as anger instead.
Soap seems to take your silence as you submitting. "Come on. We'll go around that way."
He was motioning to a camp-like area that seemed mostly deserted, though there were probably men sleeping in the multiple tents that were set up. Along with the tents, there was some campfires and some small boxes of what looked to be filled with MREs.
As Soap quickly moved to the new area to bypass the group of men, you glanced back at them. You knew you could land those headshots. If Ghost had been with you, you would have taken them down already. You were tired of Soap thinking you were inferior and wanted to prove him wrong so badly. You knew you could land those headshots...
Raising your rifle slowly, you lined up the shot for the first target and mentally mapped out the sequence. One on the right, then left, then back right, and then back left. A simple zig-zag pattern. Easy enough.
Right as you're about to pull the trigger, you hear Soap's voice crackle through the comms. His voice was deep and full of warning and venom.
"Don't you fucking dare, States."
But you dared. You wanted more than anything to prove him wrong. You slowly exhaled and pulled the trigger.

It takes several minutes for the sounds of the doorbell peeling insistently to break through Dieter’s nearly catatonic state. Too much booze and too many pills are the result of another day of discontent and wishing that there was something other than numbness of life for him. Leaving him grumbling when one eye pops open and he groans when the cotton mouth and headache hits him. “Go away.” He huffs, knowing that there is no way that whoever is at the damn door would hear him all the way in his bedroom. Hell, the only reason he hears the doorbell is because it’s wired to the sound system in the house. Again the bell rings and like the dead rising from the grave, Dieter drags himself out of the safety and comfort of his bed. “Fuck! I’m coming! I’m coming!” The bathrobe he had tossed down last night is put over his boxers and he shuffles towards the stairs as fast as his lethargic body can go.
When Dieter opens the door, he’s shocked to see a woman standing there holding a baby. “Can I help you?” He asks, rubbing his eyes, and she snorts.
“You don’t remember me, do you?” She asks and Dieter squints, “am I supposed to?”
She laughs humorlessly, “I shouldn’t be surprised, you could barely remember my name that night. I was just amazed that a big actor wanted to fuck me. Remember me? That cocktail waitress from the club you took home about ten months ago?” She says and Dieter scratches his neck.
“Listen lady, I sleep with a lot of people. It’s hard to remember them all.” He admits with zero qualms.
“Wow. You’re a fucking asshole. Anyway, I guess the condom broke because congrats, you’re a daddy. It’s a girl. Her name is Rosie. Her birth certificate is in the bag.” She holds the baby out towards him and his eyes widen, looking down at the baby bag in the ground.
”What? I- what the fuck?” He looks bewildered before he starts to laugh. “Good one. Real funny. What do you want? Money?” He scoffs and she shakes her head, tears in her eyes.
“No. No. I need you to take her. I can’t afford her and I- I didn’t want her. When I found out - I was fucking eight months pregnant so it was too late to get rid of her and I can’t work so I can’t pay for my place. I can’t keep her. You gotta take her. She will be better off with you.” She says and pushes the baby into Dieter’s arms.
He scrambles to hold the baby, not wanting to drop her and the woman immediately sprints off towards her car. “Hey! Wait! You can’t just- I don’t know how to look after a baby! I need you to - hey. Where the fuck- get back here!” He yells as she squeals off of his driveway and he curses himself for not fixing the gate yet. “Shit.” He hisses. He didn’t even get her name. Looking down at the baby, he sighs and knows he has to find her mom. He can’t be a daddy. He can barely look after himself.
No, first thing is a damn DNA test and then he’s gonna find that bitch and give her back her baby. He’s gotta call the police after he cleans up his counters from the coke powder. “Fuckkkkk.” He groans, knowing his quiet day just got a whole lot busier.
****
“If we take her, Mr. Bravo, she’s just going to go into a state home. An orphanage.” Dieter frowns and wraps his arms around his chest, nervous for having the fucking cops in his house. Paranoid they were going to find the baggie of Coke he just remembered was in the little box next to his car keys. “You are listed on the birth certificate.”
Snatching the paper from the officer he squints at it. “How the fuck is that legal?” He demands. “That means anyone could put me down as the father of their kid.”
The officer shuffles, clearly uncomfortable and slightly in awe of being in the actor’s presence. “That’s for the courts to decide. Look,” he lowers his voice and looks around. “I don’t think you understand how bad the system is for babies.” He tells Dieter seriously. “Just- keep the baby with you, at least until the DNA tests come back. That way you don’t have to fight to get her back when she is yours. You already said you might have slept with this woman. Stranger things have happened.”
Dieter huffs, upset by the idea of the tiny little human being in an orphanage. Even if she doesn’t look anything like him. He had found diapers and a can of formula in the bag that the mother had left with him but that’s it. He has nothing to take care of a child. “What am I supposed to do? I don’t know shit about kids.” He demands, making the officer chuckle.
“Hire a nanny.” The officer suggests, smirking. “Isn’t that what you Hollywood types do?”
Dieter knows he can’t just ship the kid off. She’s so tiny and vulnerable. He can’t do it, even he’s not that big of an asshole. He will call his assistant to get a nanny in today. “Listen, do you, uh, know how much formula to use?” He asks the cop who nods and walks over to the counter to show Dieter.
“One scoop for every two ounces of water. Get baby water but bottled will have to work for today. So four ounces, two scoops. And shake. After she is finished, shift her to your shoulder and gently pat her back to get her to burp.” He says and Dieter nods.
“How much does she need?” Dieter asks and the cop chuckles, “she’s gonna be hungry a lot. I remember mine at that age. Endless bottles. Be sure to wash them thoroughly.” He says and pats Dieter on the shoulder and makes his way towards the front door of the Sherman Oaks mansion.
“Fuck.” Dieter groans, rubbing his cheek when the police leave and the baby starts to cry. He knows she must be hungry so he fumbles to open the container, grabbing the bottle to fill it with bottled water and putting two scoops in. “I’m coming.” He says, struggling to do the bottle up, and he curses again as he walks over to carefully scoop the baby up. “How do I-?” He struggles to get her to suck on the bottle and sighs in relief when she stops wailing and gulps down the milk.
Dieter holds the baby awkwardly, trying to remember how from that role a few years ago. The baby had been a prop doll, but they had shown him how to hold it. “Your name’s Rosie, huh?” He asks, looking down at the infant. According to the birth certificate, she’s only two months old. “I’m Dieter, but you don’t talk so why am I telling you that?” He huffs, but the baby gurgles around the nipple of the bottle and it makes him grin. “Did you like that?” He asks, lifting a brow. Apparently he’s a natural with kids.
The baby grunts and the grin immediately slides into a frown. “What’s that?” He asks, feeling something moving. “What are you doing?” Instead of sucking down the milk, the baby is grunting and straining and Dieter stares in horror as the smell starts to reach his nose. “Oh shit! You shit!” He groans in disgust.
The baby starts to cry, unhappy with a full diaper, and Dieter is reaching for his phone.
“Hello?” His assistant answers and Dieter is panicking.
“I need you here right now. I need help.”
Johan, his assistant, frowns, “is that- is that a baby?” He asks and Dieter groans, “get here now. And call a nanny service!” He demands and hangs up. “What do I do?” He asks the baby, shifting to lay her down on a towel so she doesn’t get shit on his expensive rug. “I- shit. You - fuck. That’s disgusting.” He groans and pulls his phone out. “YouTube! I’ll try YouTube.” He looks up ‘how to change a diaper’ and grabs the baby bag.
Dieter watches the video, studying it intently as he keeps a hand on the baby’s stomach. “Looks easy.” He frowns at the squirming baby. “But the doll wasn’t moving.” He sets the phone down beside the bag so he can see it and bites his lip as he tries to figure out the snaps on the onesie she’s in. “Holy shit.” He huffs, amazed at how easy it unsnaps. “I need this in a fucking adult version.” Wrinkling his nose when the smell gets even worse, he groans. “Wheeeeew, God you stink.” He nearly gags and pulls his shirt up over his nose. “What did you eat?”
Trying to plug his nose, he follows the YouTube video, wiping the poop off of her skin after rolling up the dirty diaper and putting it in the diaper bag. Anyone watching would think Dieter is dealing with a bomb. He gags when he pushes the wipes into the bag after cleaning her up and he grabs the rash cream, placing some on her bottom where the video details he should. He curses the new diaper, trying to figure out what way is the front until he sees it says “back” on it and he pulls it tight on her tiny body before he clips her onesies back into place. “Shit. That - that wasn’t too bad.” He murmurs, breathing in the fresh air and she hiccups, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“You’re kind of cute.” Dieter murmurs. “In a weird, ‘you don’t look like me’ kind of way.” He frowns when she grins at him, kicking her feet. “You’re weird.” He huffs, but she just waves her arms at him and squeals. Is she his? After all this time, did he finally fuck up and procreate? His mind spins and he wishes he remembers what the woman looks like better than he does but it had been early (for him) and he had just woken up. “We will have to find you someone who knows what they are doing kiddo.”
****
“What did you do?” Johan accuses Dieter who shakes his head, holding the baby in his arms and he looks at her, unable to deny that she looks a little like Dieter.
“I don’t know man. Some woman, I- Jesus. She said I fucked her and don’t even remember her. I’m waiting for the nurse to come for the DNA test.” Dieter confesses, knowing he has to be sure before he does anything.
“Oh my God, Dieter.” She rolls her eyes and immediately steps closer to the baby, unable to resist seeing her up close. “This is why you said you needed a nanny?”
Dieter nods and rocks his body as the baby’s eyes start to drift closed. “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing.” He huff, looking around the house that is definitely not baby proof. “I don’t have anything. I need-” He shakes his head. “I don’t know what the fuck I need. More diapers? That formula?” He nods towards the diaper bag. “She didn’t leave me shit for this baby.” He growls, pissed off at the poor planning of that woman. Who just abandons their baby with someone they didn’t know?
“Let me make a list and we can get what we need for her.” Johan says, knowing Dieter will not know anything that he will need.
“I need help. And stuff. Like now.” Dieter says, feeling the need to use but he can’t since he’s responsible for a fucking baby now.
Johan nods and bites his lip. “I’ve got a call into a nanny service. They are going to send someone over today.” He knows Dieter will be relieved. “Maybe she can help us with what we need.”
“Let’s get her. I need help. I- shit. I don’t even have a crib or anything. I need you to go out. Take my card and get all the baby shit from the best store there is in town.” He orders, wanting the baby to have the best even if she isn’t his. She’s cute and she deserves a good start in this world. “I need - shit - I have no idea what I’m doing. Please help me.” Dieter begs, the baby falling asleep against his chest and he looks down at her, her lips pouting as she sucks on the pacifier he found in the bag.
Johan grimaces and nods, aware that he has even less experience with babies than Dieter does. “I’ll be back.” The other man promises, quickly making his way towards the door and out of the house. He had no clue what the hell to do for his boss, he’s gotten himself in a mess this time. As much as he wants to claim he doesn’t know that baby is his, it is. Dieter Bravo is a father.
****
“It’s nice to meet you. I’ve always been such a fan of your work.” The woman gushes. Dieter can barely remember her name. Violet, Vivian, or something like that. She seems nice enough and her qualifications from the service are good. He doesn’t really know what he’s looking for in a nanny except he desperately needs help. He’s waiting on the DNA results to come in but the little baby is cute and she listens to him rambling without complaints.
Viola looks around the house and wonders how the hell Dieter Bravo became an overnight father. “You must attend parenting classes.” She insists after Dieter finally runs out of steam and shuts up. “There is one I can sign you up for. It’s for new parents and you qualify.” She chuckles, shaking her head. “They have a meeting in two days, I can see about getting you halfway set up.
“What? No. I don’t need a parenting group.” Dieter scoffs and Viola raises her eyebrows.
“Respectful sir, I think you do.” She offers him a wry smile when the baby starts to cry in his arms.
“I’m hopeless, aren’t I?” He sighs, trying to rock Rosie and he is struggling to calm her.
“Here. Can I-?” Viola asks and Dieter practically shoves the baby into her arms.
“You’re hired.” He declares when Rosie calms down and the crying stops. He can’t do this alone.
“Mr. Bravo,” Viola frowns and shakes her head. “I’m sorry if you misunderstood. I am here temporarily.” She explains. “I have already signed a contract with another family. I came today because it was an emergency.” She wonders if he had heard anything she had said when she arrived, he had looked frazzled but she thought she had been clear.
“What? No! You seem like such a nice lady and Rosie likes you. Please. I’ll pay more. I’ll do anything to get you to stay.” He pleads, “name your price. I’ll fucking pay it. Please!” He pouts, eyes wide and pleading.
Viola shakes her head, “I’m so sorry. I can’t get out of the contract. I’ll help you as much as I can. Johan said you need help learning the basics so I’ll show you the basics and take care of Rosie while I can but you’re going to have to learn what to do.” She says, knowing it’s going to be tough.
“I can’t do this.” Dieter wails, knowing life as he knows it is over. Without someone here, he going to fuck it up. “Please, please, you have to stay.” He begs, making Viola shake her head.
“I am here for one week, Mr. Bravo. Then it will be up to you to find someone to help you care for Rosie. Now, let me show you how to bathe your daughter.”
****
“She’s yours.” Dieter exhales shakily as Johan announces the DNA results.
“Shit. I- I have a daughter.” He shakes his head and looks over at Rosie who is asleep in her bassinet. “What am I gonna do?” Dieter asks as reality sets in. He has a child that he’s responsible for and Viola is only here for two more days. “She’s - she’s so tiny and I’m gonna fuck it up. She’s gonna get fucked up because of me.” He starts to panic now that reality has hit.
“You are going to go to the parenting class tonight and we are going to continue to look for a nanny.” Johan tells Dieter practically. He’s been surprised that Dieter hasn’t done as many drugs as he normally does, even smoking weed outside because of the baby. “So far all the services I’ve called don’t have anyone available until next year.” He shakes his head. “Apparently it was baby season this year.”
Dieter groans, covering his face with his hands and dragging them down his cheeks. “I have pre-production for the movie coming up in a few weeks. I can’t take her with me to a table read.” He whines and Rosie shifts in her sleep, making Dieter’s heart melt when the movement catches his attention and he looks over. “Fine. I’ll go to the parenting class. Maybe…maybe someone can help me find a nanny there.” He says, determined to find help.
****
Dieter walks into the church hall, surprised he hasn’t burst into flames. He hasn’t been to church since he was a kid. His mama used to drag him on a Sunday and when he became famous at ten years old, he managed to bail on church because he was working. He sits down in a seat, noticing how all the other attendees are women. Rosie is asleep in her carrier for now and he has the diaper bag at his feet. “Welcome ladies and - oh. Hi, we have a new member.” An older woman smiles at Dieter, “welcome to the single mom support group.”
“Oh, uh, I thought it was-“ Dieter falters for a moment, panicking about being kicked out of the group. “I thought this was a single parent support group.” He explains, shuffling. “I just- uh, the mother of the child- my child- I just got the DNA test back, dropped her off on my door with no warning.” He rambles, trying to explain why he needs to stay. “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing.” He confesses, nearly sounding defeated.
“It’s okay. It’s okay. You can stay.” A few of the moms recognize Dieter and he looks exhausted. Rosie had kept him up half of the night since Viola has been weaning him off of her help, and he glances around.
“I’m sorry to - shit. I can go.” He says and you are sitting next to him.
“No, stay. It’s okay. We are all here to help each other.” Your own son, three months old, is whining and you sigh, pulling your tank top down and unclipping your bra to breastfeed him.
Dieter’s eyes widen at the sight of your breast and he can’t deny his cock twitches a little at the idea of drinking down some milk. Shit, when did that kink happen? “I appreciate it. I have no clue what I’m doing.” He admits again and all the women laugh, “none of us do. It’s instinct and a lot of books.” One giggles, “and Google.”
“I didn’t even know.” Dieter moans, shaking his head. “It was- it was a one night stand.” He feels bad about that, not even able to tell Rosie about his relationship with her mom when she gets older. “I’m trying to hire a nanny but all of them are booked up.” He shakes his head. “I don’t want to fuck her up. She’s so tiny. Two months old.”
“What’s her name?” You ask him, looking at the little girl asleep in her carrier.
“Rosie.” He says with a soft smile, it’s hard to not love the little girl now that he knows she’s his. He wants the best for her, even if she’s stuck with a manic mess like him. “This is Oliver.” You gesture to the baby now asleep on your breast.
Dieter smiles and tries not to notice the grunting sounds the kid is making. Feeling guilty because he knows that he would be making the exact same sounds the kid is if he was sucking down milk from your tit. “That’s nice.” He offers.
“So what is your name?” The woman in charge smiles fondly at him and he’s surprised no one recognizes him.
“Uh, Dieter.” He offers, curling his shoulders slightly. “Dieter Bravo.”
“Welcome Dieter.” Several of the women say to him with a smile.
“So do you have any questions?” Julia, the group leader asks.
“Where the fuck do I begin?” He replies dramatically, making all the women chuckle.
“Well, we are here to help each other so might as well start.”
“So my first question. So is their shit always gonna be that black color?” Dieter shakes his head, making a face as he remembers the last diaper he had changed.
All the women laugh. “No that won’t last for much longer since she’s three months old.”
Dieter rolls his eyes gratefully. “Oh thank God.” He chuckles. Looking over at you again. “You said your son is two months old? Is he sleeping all night? Is that something that she has to get used to?”
You shake your head, “he isn’t sleeping through the night yet. I breastfeed so he wakes me up every couple of hours. It takes a while for them to sleep through the night. Like six months or so. Have you read any baby books?” You ask and he shakes his head. “Oh you must read - you know what. I’ll send you a list. What’s your number?” You ask and the women all giggle, making you fluster. “I mean, to help. We have babies close in age. It’s good to have help.”
“Do you need a job?” Dieter blurts out, wondering why he hadn’t thought of it before. “I mean- if your husband doesn’t mind.” He corrects himself, forgetting it was a single mother’s group. “I'm just- I’ve got to start pre-production on the next movie and it’s going to be crazy and you seem like you’re perfect. You handle your baby so easily.” His eyes are wide and pleading, begging you to say yes.
Your eyes widen, "I- um, oh wow. A job?"
The other women all nod, telling Dieter about your history as a teacher and how you know CPR. You fluster, knowing you need a job. Your maternity leave ended two weeks ago and instead of letting you come back to work, your job had fired you. Between losing your job and your landlord chasing you up on rent, you know this is too good to turn down. "I'm not married and um, what job do you have in mind?"
“Nanny.” He jumps immediately on your question. Knowing that it’s not a ‘no’. “I’ll pay you really well and you can- can you live there? I mean, I can have odd hours and you can stay at my place. You and Oliver.” He makes sure to include your son. “I have a big house. In Sherman Oaks.” As if that would sweeten the deal. “Help me with Rosie and teach me how to be a dad. How to look after her. I don’t expect you to do it all.” He clarifies, having already gotten used to the idea of being a ‘girl dad’. He’s watched a few Tik Toks about it and it looks cool.
You know it sounds too good to be true. A job and a place to live with your son. “I think we need to sit down and talk this through properly. You don’t even know me. Don’t you wanna do a background check?” You ask, knowing you’d be doing that if you were hiring someone to live in your house. “We have a lot to discuss.” You bite your lip and look around the room to see the other moms nodding to encourage you.
“Yeah. Yeah.” Dieter nods seriously. “My agent will have that done. Plus the NDA you would have to sign.” He’s grateful you are even thinking about it. “But don’t worry. Most of the tabloid stuff is bullshit. I’m not that bad.” He promises with a quick, charming grin. “We can hammer out the details after this, right?”
“Uh, sure.” You nod and Dieter winks at you before turning back to the women, their own babies in their arms and you know this is too good an opportunity to turn down. “You wanna go get a coffee?” You ask Dieter after Oliver is in his stroller and you look at Rosie who is still asleep, unaware of her father trying to hire her a new nanny.
“As long as it’s quiet.” He says and you frown, “uh, sure. You said you are going into pre-production so does that mean you are an actor?” You ask, unaware of if he’s famous.
Dieter stares at you for a moment, wondering if you are just trying to play coy but you are just looking at him curiously. “Yeah, uh, I am.” He admits, finding it refreshing that someone on this planet doesn’t know who he is or have any expectations of him. “I normally do two or three movies a year, depending on how long they take to film or whatever.” He struggles with the carrier and the door, holding it open for you on the other side. “Gotta get one of those.” He tells himself, eyeing your stroller.
“We can make a list of what you’ll need. I’m guessing you have the basics but there’s so much stuff.” You sigh, knowing it’s not always been in your reach but someone like him could buy it all.
“A list sounds good. Coffee?” He suggests, gesturing to the small coffee shop down the street and you nod.
“Sounds good. I desperately need one. He kept me up all night. He was hungry last night and wouldn’t settle unless he was against my breast.”
Dieter keeps his dirty thoughts to himself, but he doesn’t blame the kid. He would love to sleep with a nipple in his mouth too. “We will make sure to get you an extra shot of espresso.” He promises, carrying the car seat and diaper bag as he walks alongside you. “I’m being serious. About the job, I mean.” He tells you. “I have tried every nanny service in the greater L.A. area with no luck, although I’m on their waitlist.” He sighs and shuffles the carrier when his arm gets tired in one position. “I have an in-law suite you and Oliver can use, if you want a little more privacy than just sleeping upstairs.” He knows he sounds desperate, because he is desperate. Johan knows less than he does about babies and has zero interest in watching the kid while he is busy.
“Let’s sit down with the babies and then we can order.” You suggest and he nods, guiding you over to a table in the back. Rosie is waking up and he panics when she starts to cry. “Oh hello gorgeous.” You murmur, leaning down to look at his daughter and Dieter is fumbling to get the bottle from the bag to make her formula. You sigh, sensing he needs help and you unbuckle the baby, Oliver asleep as you cradle Rosie, her cries settling a little and you stand up, rocking her and you reach for the formula Dieter has, a whole damn container, and work fast on a bottle. “My sister has kids. I used to babysit them.” You explain and work fast with one hand to prepare a bottle and bring it to her lips. “Here you go sweet pea.” You coo as she starts to gulp down the milk.
“You’re really good at this.” Dieter says in awe, watching you handle things so smoothly. “I’m just-I don’t know.” He sighs, feeling bad that he’s not good at this.
“Babies sense the emotions around them.” You tell him quietly. “You panic, she’s going to become more frantic. Just talk to her while you are getting her bottle ready. Or have one already mixed up, ready to go.” You think about all the formulas that are already bottled and just need a nipple slapped on them. “We can find a routine that works for you.”
Dieter nods, “yes. Yes. God, please take the job. I need you.” He pleads and you shift Rosie into his arms, transferring the bottle to him.
“I’ll take the job. On one condition.” You say, sitting back down and you rock Oliver’s stroller.
“Anything.” Dieter vows.
“You learn too. I don’t want you to just shove her into my arms at the first sign of difficulty. She’s your daughter. You need to know how to care for her, to bond with her. You can’t just hand her off and expect me to do it all. She needs to know her daddy.”
Dieter nods, knowing that he would do that if given the opportunity. “Okay.” He agrees. “I want you to help me become better at taking care of her.” He bites his lip and looks at you. “What do you want for pay?” He asks, listing off a number that the nanny services had given him. “Does that sound okay? Plus, you’ll have full use of the house. And a card for expenses. I don’t expect you to buy the diapers or wipes or any of that shit.”
Your eyes widen, it’s way more than you were making at your old job. Your landlord has been threatening you with eviction since you’re struggling to pay, and this almost seems like fate. “Wow. I- are you sure?” You ask him and he nods, “I’m absolutely sure.”
You swallow and offer him a soft smile, “then I’m your new nanny.” He grins and your heart thumps in your chest at how handsome he is. “There’s something you gotta know though.” You sigh and Dieter nods, waiting for you to go on. “Oliver’s father. He - he died.” You feel yourself tearing up, “we - I was only a few months pregnant when we got into the car accident. I didn’t even know I was pregnant at the time but Ollie- he- he died. We were- we were friends, friends with benefits and we got pregnant and he- he never got to meet his son.” You choke, the grief that’s consumed you threatens to take you again. He didn’t have any family left alive so Oliver would’ve been his only family.
“I’m sorry.” Dieter frowns, unsure of how to comfort someone about a death that meaningful but he feels like he should say something. “That is rough. Hopefully- hopefully this will turn into a good arrangement.” He offers with a small shrug, realizing that things could be worse. He can’t imagine what it would be like going through this alone. “After our coffee, do you want to come over? See the house?” He asks. “I can call my agent to draw up any kind of paperwork you want.”
You nod, sniffing to stop yourself from crying about Ollie. You loved him, he was your friend, but you were never in love with him. He had his problems and you had yours. It would’ve never worked. Oliver is here now and you have to be strong for him, to keep Ollie’s memory alive. “Yes. I- this is a lot but I want to change my life. I need a change. I want to work for you.” You say as the barista takes pity on you with the babies and comes over to take your order. “I’ll have a vanilla latte please.” You order and Dieter adds, “with an extra shot of espresso.”
After taking your orders, Rosie finishes her bottle and Dieter shifts to put her up on his shoulder to burp. “Hang on, you need a spit rag.” You insist, digging in your own diaper bag to produce one.
“Huh,” Dieter huffs, “I just thought I was supposed to wear her puke until she stopped doing that.” He jokes, the stains on his shirt only partly from his daughter.
“No, you always carry multiple burp clothes and changes of clothes, for both of you.” You tell him with a smile.
He nods, mentally taking notes. He has so much to learn from you to make sure his daughter is well looked after. He doesn’t want to fail at being a father. He wants her to know he did everything he could to be a good daddy. He knows you will be good for Rosie, for him too. He sips his coffee and watches you with Oliver, rocking his stroller, and he can see you’re a good mom. He feels comfortable with you. “Do you wanna come back to my place?” Dieter asks, realizing that’s the first time he’s asked that question without it being for sex or drugs
You bite your lip and look up at the frazzled, yet handsome man who is offering you a dream situation. A place to live and the ability to stay at home with your son while still earning money. You don’t know if you would ever get a better offer. “Yes.” You agree. “I’ll follow you? Maybe you can text me the address in case we get separated?” You want to look it up really quickly, just to make sure it’s a real place.
He nods, taking your number to text you his address. He is anxious for you to see the house, hoping you love it and it helps to get you to take the job. You strap Oliver into his car seat while Dieter does the same to Rosie and soon enough, you’re driving to his house.
“I, uh, I’ll ask the housekeeper to come in more than once a week.” Dieter offers, climbing out of his car as you do the same. He doesn’t want you to think that it’s all going to fall on you. “Oh, Johan told me about a diaper delivery service. All natural diapers? That’s better, right?” He asks, anxious about doing the right thing. He had read about the chemicals used in the nappies he currently has.
You smile at his anxiety, wanting the best for Rosie, and you know he’s going to be a good daddy once he gets his feet under him. “Johan?” You ask and Dieter nods, “my assistant. He’s - he is my lifeline.” Dieter confesses and you nod, understanding he lives a completely different life to you. He needs an assistant to manage his schedule. You take Oliver out of the car in his carrier and follow Dieter into the house, your eyes wide at the gorgeous home he owns. “This is - wow.” You exhale as you enter the grand property.
“Thank you.” Dieter shows you the bottom floor and opens the door to his study. “I have all this shit I don’t know what it’s for.” The room is filled with boxes of toys and jumpers, cribs and carriers. Johan had gone overboard but Dieter had wanted to make sure that he had everything he needed. Your eyes widen and he blushes, “I was trying my best.”
You nod, understating he has struggled since Rosie was dropped on his doorstep. “We can get everything set up. Does she have a nursery?” You ask and he shakes his head, “she’s been in my room. I- I haven’t really slept. I’ve been trying to watch her sleep in case, you know.”
You understand, knowing you stay awake watching Oliver breathing. It’s a lot of anxiety being a first time parent. “We will get her nursery set up and then you can keep her in your room if you want but then she has somewhere to nap and call her own.” You smile and rub his shoulder after you set Oliver down in his carrier, he’s asleep. “It’s gonna be fine.” You promise him, glancing around the beautiful living room. “It’s gonna need some baby proofing and, uh, that needs to go.” You gesture to the powder packet on the counter.
“Oh, I, uh-“ Dieter rushes forward and grabs the packet to sweep it off the counter and into his pocket. “I haven’t- that’ll be put away.” He promises, cursing himself for leaving it out. He hadn’t taken any lately, not since Rosie arrived because he’s too fucking scared of something happening to her while he’s bombed. “Sorry.” He hopes you don’t decide to leave him high and dry because of that. “Do you want to see the rooms you and Oliver could have?” He asks desperately.
You stop him, “I- I am taking the job but you won’t do drugs in this house with the babies. If something happened or they got hold of it - I couldn’t - no drugs in this house. Period. You wanna go get high somewhere else? Fine. But your daughter comes first, you understand?” You ask him, knowing you won’t risk your own son around that kind of bullshit.
Immediately nodding, Dieter understands what you are saying. “I haven’t- not since she’s arrived.” He confesses. “I’ve been too scared to even try in case something happens.” He’s not stupid enough to think he won’t do drugs anymore but he does want to be there for his daughter.
You nod, knowing it’s not ideal but it will have to do. As long as they aren’t kept in the house and he doesn’t do them around the children, it’s his business. You are just his employee. “Okay.” You pat his shoulder and he guides you to the guest suite. “Dieter…this is…wow.” You gasp at the massive room, “this is - this is a lot. Are you sure - there’s no other room you want me to have?” You ask, knowing this room is the size of your apartment.
“You need room for you and Oliver.” He shrugs, not wanting to say that he doesn’t have guests unless it was someone from a party. And he doubts he’s having those here anymore. “This way you have privacy and your own bathroom.” He knows that is important and figured this would be perfect. “And using another room for Oliver is okay too.” He doesn’t want to suggest the nursery can be shared, but he wouldn’t mind. “Will this work?”
You smile, reaching out to pat his arm, “this is more than enough, Dieter. It’s perfect.” You promise and he grins, pleased that you are happy. He sighs when Rosie starts to cry and Oliver follows suit, both babies waking up. “Come on daddy, let’s go feed the babies.”
He feels more confident with you beside him. Even if it’s just your presence reminding him that he should test the bottle on the inside of his wrist before popping the nipple in Rosie’s mouth while Oliver is greedily suckling at your breast for his own meal. “That wasn’t too bad.” He grins down at his daughter, eyes wide but slowly starting to close as she gulps down the bottle. “How often do you have to feed Oliver?” He asks, trying to keep his eyes on your face respectfully. You aren’t giving him a show.
“About every one and a half to two hours. Depends on when he’s hungry. He lets me know.” You chuckle and watch your son as his gulps turn into suckles which lead to him falling asleep against your breast. “It’s - it’s exhausting but he’s worth it.” You smile at Dieter who is rocking Rosie. “You’re getting better already. We will make a list of everything we need for you and, um, I guess I better go and pack.” You smile bashfully, knowing this is a big move but it’s what’s best for you and Oliver.
“Why don’t we hire someone to pack you?” Dieter asks with a frown. You have your hands full and he knows that it will take a lot to take care of your son and try to pack. “I’ll pay for it. I don’t mind. That way we can get the nursery set up.”
“Are you sure? I- I don’t know if you’re gonna find someone so late notice. I don’t have much. And I will need Oliver’s crib and -”
You don’t get to finish because Dieter is pulling out his phone to call Johan and arrange for your things to be moved today. “Whatever it costs.” Dieter says and you swallow, knowing Dieter has more money than you could imagine if he can waste it like that.
“Thank you.” You tell him, cradling Oliver who is fast asleep.
“It’s nothing.” Dieter waves away the thanks and looks down at Rosie as she finishes the last of her bottle. “Okay little girl, let’s get you to burp, and then maybe a nap?” He asks, grinning. “She has the manliest burps.” He brags, astounded that something so small could make such a racket. “I have the other cradle thingy if you want to lay your son down.”
“The bassinet?” You smirk and he shrugs one shoulder, “I’m still learning.” You nod and let him guide you to the bassinet and you carefully lay Oliver down before adjusting your shirt after clipping your nursing bra. Rosie burps and you giggle softly, liking how proud Dieter is of her and you watch him lay her down in the cradle next to Oliver. “Maybe they will be best friends.” You whisper, leaning closer to him.
“That would be cool.” Dieter imagines it, his own childhood lonely and isolated. There were times he had wished desperately for a built-in friend. “Let’s get out of here before we wake them up.” He has learned that Rosie is cranky if she gets woken up before she’s ready and he doesn’t blame her, he’s the same way. Maybe she got it from him. “So, uh, since there’s two kids….just, um, we’re gonna need that double stroller thingy, right?” Dieter asks as he walks down the hall with you. “And can you show me that carrier thing? The one you have the baby wrapped to your body? That looks cool. Oh, and uh, the diapers. The service, when we get that set up, use it for Oliver too.” He adds. “No need to have two different types of diapers, right?”
You nod, realizing it’s best not to argue. “Let’s leave them to sleep and we can work on getting the nursery set up. I- I really appreciate this opportunity, Dieter.” You tell him and lean in to kiss his cheek. He blushes as you set your phone up as a makeshift baby monitor, calling his phone, and you leave the babies to sleep. Dieter follows you, his eyes dropping down to your ass, and he curses internally when he realizes he finds you hot.
****
“Dieter!” You call out, trying to find your boss. Oliver and Rosie are having tummy time on the play mat and you need your breast pump. It’s been a couple of months since you moved in with Dieter to become his full time nanny and it’s been surprisingly nice. Rosie is a good girl and you’ve grown to fall in love with her, making sure her and Oliver get equal treatment. “Can you get my pump?” You ask when he doesn’t respond.
“Yeah!” Dieter reluctantly lets go of his cock and tucks it away in his dress slacks. He had been trying to tug one out before he had to go to court, formally getting custody of his daughter. Nervous and not able to get high, jerking off had become even more of a habit than before now he had started thinking about you while he was doing it. You’re so fucking pretty and kind. Looking like an angel as you take care of his daughter. Dieter knows that he’s falling in love with you but he can’t do anything about it. Not willing to risk you leaving and denying Rosie the best nanny in the world. Washing his hands quickly, he rushes to the kitchen to grab the pump where you had cleaned it last night while he sterilized bottles. “Here it is.”
You thank him, breasts aching and you attach the suction, not thinking about Dieter as you sigh in relief at the milk finally being pumped. “Shit. That feels good.” You groan, the whooshing of the machine pumping and you have been pumping enough for Rosie to have milk too. It’s been a lot but you love the babies. “What time do you have to leave?” You ask Dieter, catching him staring at your tits and you hate that it thrills you. He’s so sexy, unintentionally so, and goofy as hell. He’s good with his daughter and you’ve grown close, raising the babies together, and you know it’s getting harder and harder to deny how you feel every day.
“Oh, uh, I gotta leave in twenty minutes.” His cock is still hard in his trousers and he twitches at the groan you make. Every day you pump, having no modesty around him now and you shouldn’t - it’s natural but Dieter still thinks it’s sexy. “I’m nervous.” He admits, glancing over at Rosie as she squeals and waves her arms on her tummy. “I know that my lawyer said it’s a formality, but what if the judge doesn’t like me? What if he takes Rosie from me?”
You shake your head and reach for his hand, squeezing it. “I promise you, it’s gonna be fine, D. You’re a good daddy and that will be shown. I know your past hasn’t been ideal but you got this. You’re a good man, Rosie is lucky to have you. We all are. It’s gonna be fine. I promise you.” You offer him a soft smile and squeeze his hand again.
“I’m more nervous than the night I won my Oscar.” Dieter confesses with a nervous chuckle. He doesn’t tell you that he was high, sure that you could guess that, although he has done anything more than hit his weed pen since you’ve moved in. Rosie is surprisingly therapeutic, although he’s glad she doesn’t understand what he talks about during the nights he gets up with her. The movie is almost halfway done shooting and he’s going to make sure that once he’s done, you get a week off so you can veg for more than a night. He looks down at your joined hands and smiles. “I’ll call you when I get out, okay?” He asks, and you nod, letting go of him. “And eat that kale and beet salad in the fridge”, he throws over his shoulder as he rushes towards the door. “It’s supposed to help the milk supply.”
You roll your eyes playfully, looking back at the babies. “Daddy is silly, isn’t he?” You talk to Rosie and look at Oliver, saddened that he isn’t going to know his father. You wonder what Ollie would think of Dieter. They are similar in a lot of ways but Ollie was always practical, making sure you weren’t in a relationship because of his strenuous job as a firefighter. He didn’t want you to be one of those women sitting around waiting for him. You sigh and wonder what you are going to do about Dieter. It’s too comfortable with him.
****
“Dinner’s ready!” You call out. The babies are now six and seven months old. Sitting in their baby bouncers, watching you setting the dinner out for Dieter. He’s finished filming and you want to celebrate. The nice bottle of wine on the table alongside his favorite pasta.
“Oh my god, you spoil me.” Dieter groans as he comes into the dining room, freshly showered and in comfortable clothes. Rosie squeals happily and so does Oliver, both of them in their high chairs. Dieter grins leaning in and blowing a raspberry on his daughter’s cheek and then on your son’s. He never thought he was a kid type of person, but his playfulness extends to your son. He’s a good kid and it would not be right when you are so good with Rosie if he ignored the little guy. It makes him imagine that the four of you are a family, a real one and he was coming home from work to all of you. “You didn’t have to do this.”
You shake your head, enjoying the way his hand finds your waist as you reach for the parmesan on the counter. You turn to face him, cupping his cheek, “you just finished filming. You deserve a treat.” You smile, caressing his cheek and your eyes dip down to his lips for a second. He stares at you and you clear your throat, lowering your hand, “let’s eat. You must be starving.” You set the cheese down and glance over at the babies, you fed them while dinner was cooking so now you and Dieter can enjoy your meal.
“How was your day?” He’s finding that this, fatherhood and responsibility, is grounding for him. Not just concentrating on his whims and trolling through boredom. Every day is different and challenging with kids, especially when he’s trying to make sure that none of his own parents' mistakes affect Rosie. “The kids were okay?” He asks, pouring more wine into each of your glasses. You hum in protest but Dieter shakes his head. “Just pump and dump. You deserve more than one glass.” He huffs.
You sigh but let him pour some more wine, it’s been stressful with the babies today. “Rosie decided to throw up all over Oliver and herself so both of them needed a bath and then Oliver managed to get his diaper off in his onesie so he needed another bath and then Rosie wouldn’t stop crying because Oliver wasn’t next to her. It’s been - it’s been a day.” You sigh and Dieter nods, reaching for your hand. It feels so normal, like you’re complaining to your husband about your hectic day over wine and you look up at Dieter, “I love them both so much but today was…it was a lot.”
“I can imagine.” Dieter squeezes your hand gently and once again thinks that it’s odd that you don’t feel like his employee. You feel like his wife, although he’s never kissed you, or touched you like he’s imagined. “Let me take both the kids tonight.” He offers. “I’ve got the next week off before I have to do all the press bullshit for the other movie coming out in two weeks. Why don’t you take a little vacation? A spa or something?” His parenting skills have improved drastically and there have been times where he’s watched Oliver for you. Like when you had to go for another postpartum checkup.
You groan, letting go of his hand so you can continue eating. “I won’t lie…a massage sounds good. My back has been killing me.” You confess, twirling the pasta around your fork and you bite your lip, wondering what a massage from him would be like with his hands. “I wouldn’t mind going to the mall. I need some new clothes that aren't leggings.” You chuckle, “and I need some new underwear.” You sigh before you chew on the pasta.
Dieter’s cock twitches at the thought of your underwear. Not that he sees them. You’ve taken over doing the laundry even though he offered to have someone come in. Or he could help. Insisting that it was no problem. Johan had even commented that you made his house seem like a real home, and Dieter couldn’t deny that. “You could do all that.” He promises. “I’ll watch the kids. I want to spend some time with R and O.”
You feel guilty leaving the kids behind but you trust Dieter, something you never thought you’d say, but he has proven himself to be an amazing father. You smile, “thanks baby.” You tell him and he swallows the wine down. It’s getting harder to deny how you feel. After finishing eating, Dieter helps you clean up while you have the babies in the play pen. “Bedtime for the bubbies.” You coo, picking up Rosie and kissing her hair. “Daddy is gonna change you, baby girl.” You slide her into Dieter’s arms and pick up Oliver.
“Why don’t you go take your own bath?” Dieter offers, grinning down at Rosie. “You’ve had them all day and you said it’s been rough. Go take a bubble bath. I can get them ready for bed.” He’s made huge strides as a father, as a caretaker and now that he’s more confident, he finds he likes it. Kids are fun. And easy to learn how to please. “I can rock them both and get them settled.”
“Are you sure?” You ask, trusting him but you want him to be comfortable.
“I am for this.” He promises and you nod, “you got this. I- I can feed O before they get to sleep.” You say and he shakes his head.
“No. I got it.” He promises, knowing he can warm up your milk.
You lean in to kiss the babies’ heads, “goodnight my loves. I love you so much.” You say to them and you look up at Dieter, offering him a grateful smile. You make your way into the bathroom, sighing in relief when you sink into the tub.
Dieter hums to the babies as he warms up their last bottles of the night. Changed and in clean onesies, they are ready for that last bottle. Smirking to himself as he tests the breast milk on his wrist and barely resists licking it. He wants to try it, but he feels like that might be crossing a line. Getting both of the babies settled in each arm and they can hold their own bottle now with a little help. “You two are like twins, you know that?” He coos at both of them, settling in the rocker on the nursery while they eat. Watching their eyes grow heavier as they suck. You had both decided to keep them in the same nursery, letting them bond and it has worked out so much better than he had ever hoped. He loves Oliver like Rosie and when they fall asleep at the same time, he’s grinning as he holds them for a little longer before shifting to put them to sleep in the same crib. They cried if they were separated, curling up together during the night as if they were twins.
You sigh, relaxing in the hot water until you decide to get out and say goodnight to the babies. You shrug your robe on, tying it as you make your way to the nursery as Dieter leans over the crib. “They asleep?” You whisper and he nods. You caress their heads, loving how they are asleep together, keeping each other safe. Sometimes you see them holding hands in the night. It’s adorable. You rest your head on Dieter’s shoulder as you watch them for another moment and he turns his head to kiss your hair. It makes your heart pound and you pull away, letting the babies sleep with the white noise machine running.
Dieter’s hands seem to be twitchy as you walk out of the nursery in front of him. He knows that you are only dressed in a robe and he wants nothing more than to strip you out of it and touch you. Make you shake in pleasure. “Do you want to have a drink?” Dieter asks. “Or are you calling it a night?”
“A drink sounds good. Relax after a long day.” You smile, walking into the kitchen to open the second bottle of wine you’d bought earlier. You work fast to open it, pouring a glass and handing it to him before you settle on the sofa. “You wanna continue watching that show on HBO?” You ask, knowing he hates it when you watch an episode without him.
“Yes!” Dieter lights up and he narrows his eyes at you playfully. “You better not have already watched it.” He threatens playfully, handing you the remote. He likes when you relax and loves that you feel completely at home here. It is your home. He leans towards you and takes a sip of the wine. “What do you think is gonna happen, this episode? The previews looked good.”
You nod, shifting closer towards him. “I promise you. I haven’t seen it yet.” You assure him and have another sip of your wine. You love and hate how relaxed you are, how easy this is. How real it feels. Like you’re a proper family. The baby monitor is on the coffee table and you rest your head on Dieter’s shoulder as he presses play. You barely watch the show, too focused on the way Dieter feels pressed against you.
About halfway through the show Dieter shuffles, throwing his arm around the backside of the couch and around you. Letting you slide down against him more. You pull the throw blanket over your legs and he smiles, wondering how you are always cold but it’s a cute quirk he’s noticed.
You snuggle into his side, hand finding his chest and you caress the skin under the shirt he always has half buttoned. He sighs and you breathe him in, pleased to feel his heart thumping under your touch. This intimacy, it’s what keeps you satisfied when you yearn for more but you can’t risk it. Your job. Your home. Your life is connected to his and you can’t afford to mess it up.
“Marry me.” Dieter says and you think you misheard him.
“What?” You ask, not moving.
“Marry me.” He repeats and you jerk back from his side so you can look him in the eyes.
“What- did you just ask me to marry you?”
“I did.” Dieter nods, turning towards you and reaching for your hand. “I love you. I love how you make this house feel like a home. I love how you care for Rosie and I love Oliver.” He adds. “I love coming home to you and I want this-“ he motions around the house and between the two of you. “To be real. I want to touch you, kiss you. Make love to you.” Dieter isn’t a man who talks in terms like ‘making love’ but that’s exactly what it would be. “I think you love me too, don’t you? I know you do.”
You shake your head, wanting to tell him you love him. He’s crazy, he leaves his socks everywhere and he has so many holes in his shirts but he’s kind and whacky and so damn funny. You love him, you’re in love with him, but to marry him would be a bad idea. You can’t risk this life you’ve created together. “Dieter.” You sigh, pulling your hand out of his. “We can’t. We can’t risk the babies. We - if it all went wrong, then I’d be moving out with Oliver and Rosie loses him and vice versa. If it all went wrong, I’d be homeless and I wouldn’t have anything. I can’t risk that for my son. I can’t. I’m sorry.”
His heart breaks but he’s determined to convince you this is a good thing. Latching onto what you said about being homeless, his eyes widen. “I’ll buy you a house.” He bursts out. “In your name alone. It’ll be yours. Completely.” He nods to himself, grinning like an idiot and picks up your hand again. “It won’t go wrong, you’re perfect and I love you. I want to be with you and our babies all the time and fuck, I want another baby when you’re ready.” He missed everything about Rosie’s birth and he wants to see your stomach large with a baby, his baby. “But if it did-“ he stresses the word ‘if’, “-you would have a house for you and Oliver. And you could rent it out right now. The money would be yours. Totally yours.”
Your eyes widen and you shake your head, “I can’t - that’s too much. A house here is insane. That’s a crazy amount to put into this. That - a whole damn house? That’s what you want to do?” You ask incredulously and he nods.
“All I know is that I can’t stop thinking about you. I need you. I love you.” He promises and you swallow harshly, tears stinging in your eyes.
Your heart yearns for him yet your head tells you it’s too much of a risk. “Dieter…” You trail off and he frowns, pulling away slightly, sensing your rejection. “I love you.” Your eyes water and a sob escapes your lips as you start to cry. No one has ever been so kind to you. To know he loves you enough to buy a house so you feel secure in case something goes wrong. It has you sobbing.
He lunges forward, crushing you to him in a comforting hug. “Don’t cry baby, please don’t cry. I never want you to cry.” He pleads, sure that he’s messed up somehow. “I’m sorry, I just can’t stop wanting you. Seeing you with our babies, I think- I wish they were ours. Our twins and we had them together.” He rubs your back and pets your hair as you sob into his chest and he tries to think of how he could make you feel better.
You sob into his chest at his words, wishing they were true but it’s not and that’s okay. The babies brought you together and you know you and Dieter would’ve never met if it weren’t for that single moms group. “I - I love you.” You offer him a watery smile as you pull back and he reaches out to gently wipe your tears away. “I love you and I want you to be mine. I want to be yours. I love you Dieter.” You confess, cupping his cheeks.
Dieter’s smile is slow, soft and he can’t believe that you are saying yes. He leans in and presses his lips to yours softly. Loving how you immediately open for him to slide his tongue against yours with a groan. Pulling you close against him again, this time shamelessly pressing his body against yours. “I love you.” He promises, kissing down your jaw line. “Do you want to have sex with me? Or do you want to wait?” He wants you in his bed, but if you wanted to wait until the deed to the house was in your hands, he would understand that. He would go out tomorrow and buy you the best house he could find.
You know you’ve spent far too much time thinking about him, having him inside of you, pressing against you, and you know you should slow down but you can’t. “I want you. I don’t want to wait. I want you now.” You tell him breathlessly and you press your lips to his, cupping his cheek while you slide your tongue against his.
Groaning, Dieter pulls you closer and starts to lean you back against the sofa, knowing that he needs to take you to bed but right now, he needs to feel you under him. “So beautiful.” He praises, kissing your chin and nips your skin with his teeth.
You sigh, loving how it feels to have him touch you. His hand sliding along your thigh and you whimper, “Dieter. Please. I want you to touch me.” You plead, guiding his hand to the tie of your robe while your hands caress his chest under his ratty t-shirt.
He hums, twitching against your hip and he leans back and grins at you, “I’m going to, baby. I’m going to make sure you know exactly what you are getting from me.” He pulls your robe open and groans at the sight of your tits. Looking back up at you. “Can I taste?” He asks. “I’ve dreamed of tasting your milk.”
Your cunt clenches around nothing at the thought. “You’ve imagined it?” You ask breathlessly and he nods so you move fast to straddle him, his cock hard against your thigh, and you lean in towards him to kiss him as you shrug your robe off of your shoulders. “You can have a taste.”
He knows your tits are tender, hearing you complain and watching as you sometimes have to massage them. He cups them in his hands, groaning at how full they are, grinning. “Fuck, I can drink it all since you were going to dump it.” He realizes as he leans forward to wrap his lips around one nipple.”
“Oh shit.” You gasp, groaning softly at the relief and arousal coursing through you. You love it. Tangling your fingers in his hair, you watch him gulp down your milk and you’re amazed that he enjoys it. “Oh God baby.” You pant, feeling the relief of your milk draining and the way he sucks on your nipple, biting it now and then.
“Shit.” He gasps, feeling his cock throbbing. “It’s better than I expected.” He moans, switching to your other breasts and he knows this will become a favorite thing for him now. One hand slides down between your thighs and he is so fucking happy to find you wet.
“Dieter. Please.” You beg, needing more from him. It’s been so long since someone touched you. Not since Ollie. You rock down onto his fingers, loving how he rubs your clit while his lips suckle on your other breast. “Oh fuck, D. So good.” You whimper, caressing his shoulders.
“What do you want, baby?” He pulls off your nipple with a pop. “You want me to eat your pussy?” He groans at the thought. “Want to sit on Dieter’s face? Smother me with your cunt?”
You giggle breathlessly, “that’s the only way to shut you up?” You tease and he nods, “one of the few ways.”
You laugh and he moves fast to shift, laying down and he pulls you over to hover over his face. “Shit baby. So good to me.” You gasp when he drags you down on top of his face.
The first taste is always amazing. Sliding his tongue though your folds as he pulls your hips down onto his mouth. Holding you there as he licks and then sucks on your clit.
You whimper, “baby. Oh baby.” You moan, grinding down onto his face. “So good. So fucking good.” You moan, loving how enthusiastic he is and he squeezes your ass, encouraging you to move. You do, rocking your hips down even more.
He doesn’t care that you two are on the couch or that he is throbbing in his pants. All he cares about is making you moan his name. He knows he will slide inside you as soon as you cum for him. He moans against your clit, loving how you are smothering him just like he wanted you to. Using him for your pleasure.
“Fuck. Fuck. It’s so good, baby.” You pant, lost in the pleasure of his mouth on you. You rock on top of his mouth, his nose pressing against your clit as his tongue pushes deep. “Fuck baby. Yes. Yes. Yes. Keep - keep going.” You beg, moaning his name.
He can’t breathe, but he doesn’t care. Too busy licking into you to feel your walls start to convulse around his tongue. Moaning when the first rush if your juices hit his mouth and your moan of his name almost makes him cum in his pants. Digging his fingers into your hips, Dieter doubles down on making you shriek his name.
You throw your head back as he makes you cum, moaning his name as you clamp down around his tongue. “Fuck baby. Fuck. I- I love you.” You whine when he works you through it and you whimper, lifting off of him when it becomes too much.
Panting like he was the one who had cum, Dieter licks his lips, completely pussy drunk as he caresses your side. Enjoying the boneless way you collapse on top of him as you try to catch your breath. “I love you. Fuck, you’re my new favorite meal.”
You inhale deeply, shifting off of him and you waste no time in tugging his shirt off of him. “Baby. I want to see all of you.” You tell him, tossing the ragged shirt away and you pull his sweats down to expose his cock. “Holy - that’s what you got?” Your eyes are wide at the girth and you wrap your fingers around him.
Dieter groans, bucking his hips and biting his lip in pleasure. “Fuck, is that not enough?” He gasps out. Normally women have no issue with his size but maybe your Ollie was hung like a horse.
“Not enough? Dieter, baby, I’m gonna feel you tomorrow.” You assure him, “I’m gonna need - wow. You might have to get some lube.” You admit and you start to pump him, in awe that your fingers don’t touch. You know it’s been so long since you’ve had sex and he is thick. You’ve always preferred girth over length anyway. “You’re big.” You promise him, leaning in to flick your tongue over the leaking slit.
He preens at your praise, eyes rolling back in his head at the feel of your tongue. “I’ve got lube.” He promises, reaching down and cradling your jaw. “Use it all the time, jerking off thinking about you.” He’s not ashamed of masturbating while thinking of you. “Baby let's go to the bedroom. You can ride me if you want more control.”
You want to suck his cock but you know you’ll have plenty of time to do that later. Right now, you need him inside of you. Releasing his cock, you pick up the baby monitor and stand up, smirking as you make your way to his bedroom. He’s scrambling to get his sweatpants off and you disappear down the hall, throwing over your shoulder, “don’t keep me waiting, Bravo.”
“Shit.” He hisses, eager to chase after you. Noticing that you are headed to his bedroom and not your own. “I’m coming baby, fuck.” He watches your ass shake as you sway your hips. “Gonna buy you the biggest fucking house I can find.”
You giggle, setting the monitor down on the nightstand and you gasp when Dieter’s hands grab your hips, pulling you back into him. You quickly spin and wrap your arms around his neck, pressing your lips to his. “I love you.” You murmur against his mouth, his hard cock pressing into your stomach.
“I love you too.” Dieter moans softly, sliding his hands down and squeezing your ass. “Do you- do you need me to wear a condom?” He asks, sure that you aren’t wanting to get pregnant so soon after having your son. It wasn’t like you two had discussed birth control.
“No. I- I got an IUD put in. Figured they might as well do it while I was there and it wasn’t painful. I’m clean too. Not been with anyone since Ollie.” You promise and wonder if he’s clean. You don’t know when he slept with someone last. Maybe after you arrived. You don’t know. It’s not like it was your business when you were just his nanny.
He nods. “I uh, I haven’t been with anyone since Rosie has shown up. I’m clean.” He promises, eager to slide inside you and feel you without a barrier. “I didn’t want to do that kind to shit around her. Give her a good example. Don’t want her to be like me.”
You cup his cheeks, “you’re a good father and she’s gonna be just fine. You’re doing a good job.” You remind him, leaning in to kiss along his jaw. “Come on baby, you want me to ride you?” You ask and he nods. You let go of him and he walks over to his nightstand to grab the lube while you kneel on the bed. When he’s laying down, you grab the bottle and squirt some into your hand, wrapping your fingers around his cock to coat him before you swipe your fingers through your folds to make sure you’re slick enough. “Fuck, you’re gonna stretch me out.” You tell him as you straddle him.
“Want to see it.” Dieter pants, chest heaving as he watches you position his cock at your entrance. Moaning your name as you start to sink down on him, he can feel his entire body light up in pleasure at the hot clutch of your cunt. “I love you. I fucking love you.” Dieter cries, his fingers digging into your thighs as you slowly take him deeper, watching your mouth drop open and loving the way you moan his name.
Your eyes close as you slowly sink down onto him. He’s so thick, it stings, but you like that. It’s been so long since you had sex and this is the man you love. Your heart pounds in your chest as your thighs meet his, his cock fully inside of you, and his fingers sink into your flesh. “Shit. Shit. Shit.” He grunts and you giggle, leaning down to kiss along his jaw. “I fucking love you too.” You murmur, licking along his neck until you are biting his earlobe so you can give yourself a moment to adjust to him.
He whines, unable to stop himself from lurching up in pleasure. “Oh did you like that?” You giggle breathlessly, making him moan and turn his head so you can do it again.
“More baby, fuck. Want you to mark me up.” He begs, so starved for attention that he needs to drown in it. His hand squeezes your ass again and it takes concentration to not urge you to move, your walls fluttering so deliciously around him.
You love how desperate he is for you. Biting down on his earlobe again and his cock twitches inside of you. You take pity, finally feeling comfortable, and you shift, rocking on his cock while you nibble on his ear, whispering “you’re mine. I’m gonna make sure everyone sees it.” You smirk as you kiss down his neck, sucking and biting on his skin.
“Fuck yes, I’m yours, I’m yours.” Dieter chants, rocking his hips up to chase your cunt when you lift off of him. Hating even the brief few seconds where he’s not buried inside your warmth. “All yours baby.” He groans, closing his eyes at the pure bliss of being able to touch you, to tell you what he’s thinking without worrying about offending you. “Gonna marry you. Give you everything.” He gasps out.
You moan, “I’m yours too. Been yours since I moved into this house. I’m gonna be your wife.” You promise and he groans, hands caressing your back. You kiss his collarbone and shift back, making his cock sink deeper and you grab his hands to help you balance as you ride his cock. “Fuck. Yes. God, so good. So good inside of me.” You ramble, squeezing his hands as you start to pick up the pace.
“God, fuck, your pussy is gold.” His toes curl and he loves how you start to bounce on his cock. Making your tits away heavily and he watches with them unabashed lust. “So fucking gorgeous.” He pants. “Can’t wait to see you pregnant, riding my cock.”
“One day.” You promise with a grin, breathless from how good this feels. You let go of his hands, leaning back to grab his knees, and you grind down onto his cock, hitting just the right spot to make you gasp. “Fuck, baby. Oh my - I’m - it’s gonna make me cum.” You confess, reaching down to rub your clit.
Dieter frowns and slaps your hand away, pouting up at you. “Let me.” He insists, pressing his thumb to your clit and rubbing a tight circle over the bundle of nerves while you bounce on his cock. “Fuck baby, cum, please cum. I’m gonna -“ he hisses. “Not gonna last. Too fucking tight.” Your walls clenching down around him every other bounce is getting to be too much and he grits his teeth, praying he lasts long enough for you to soak his cock.”
Your moans are getting breathier as you struggle to breathe from the pleasure. “Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Dieter. I’m gonna - oh!” You moan, clamping down on his cock and soaking him, his thumb still working your clit until your thighs are shaking. “Cum for me.” You beg breathlessly, wanting to feel it as you convulse on top of him from your orgasm.
You don’t have to say anything else. His entire body is aching to cum, gripping your hips harshly as he starts to thrust wildly up into your body. “Oh shit, oh shit, oh shiiiiiiiiiit.” Dieter whines, burying his cock half a dozen more times before his back is bowing and he is crying out your name, filling you with hot spurts of his seed.
You pant, collapsing onto his chest as his cock twitches inside of you, and you kiss along his neck. Unable to speak, you enjoy the aftermath of your orgasms. The connection you feel to Dieter has you on cloud nine. He’s a good father and a good man, despite what the paps print. He’s changed for his child and that makes you love him more. “Good?” You ask breathlessly, hoping he enjoyed it as much as you did.
“So fucking good.” Dieter’s eyes are closed and his expression is one of pure relaxation. Enjoying the way you feel on top of him. “God, you’re spending the night right here. Every night from now on.” He slides a hand up and down your back, enjoying the feeling of your slick skin under his palm. “Now we just need the kids to sleep through the night.”
“Soon. They are getting better. And you want another one to keep us awake?” You tease, giggling when his cock twitches inside of you.
“I do.” He promises and you caress his cheek, leaning back to look into his eyes. “Me too. One day.” You lean in to softly kiss his lips, knowing you want this man to be your husband, to be everything. ****
“Diet, babe. Can you get me that - shit.” You hiss after you feel the baby kick your ribcage.
“Bad word mama.” Rosie points at you and you nod, “sorry, love. Mama needs to sit down.” You tell the three year old. Ollie comes over to sit down on the sofa next to you, his small hand on your belly as he leans in to talk to the baby in your belly. Rosie follows suit, wanting to do what her brother is doing.
“Hello baby. It’s me. Your big brother-”
“and sister.” Rosie adds as she leans in to press her ear to your stomach. You smile, tears in your eyes and look up to see Dieter walk into the living room.
“You called baby?” He asks, paint splattered all over him from painting the new nursery.
“Yeah. I’m sorry. Can you- can you get me some ice cream?” You bite your lip, knowing he’s been run ragged with your cravings.
Dieter grins, shoving his hand through his paint flecked hair, although he teases that the gray is because of you and the babies. “What kind of ice cream do you want, babe?” He strides over and rubs your bump before dropping a kiss on your lips. “Rocky road or are you wanting that cheesecake strawberry swirl?” He knows you will probably text him with more cravings, but he doesn’t mind. You are carrying his baby and you get what you want.
You smile at him, loving how flustered he looks when he has to go get your cravings, and you run your fingers over the kids’ heads before they look up at Dieter.
“Can we have ice cream, daddy?” Rosie asks, that pout she definitely got from Dieter on her face.
Oliver nods, “yes! Vanilla.”
Rosie shakes her head, “chocolate!”
You giggle and look at your husband, “I’ll have rocky road. Guess it’s an ice cream day.” You say and the kids cheer, excited to have ice cream.
“Vanilla, chocolate and rocky road.” Dieter nods, smiling down at the kids. He could never deny them much and while they would be considered spoiled, they were very well behaved. “Oh-“ he snaps his fingers. “Before I forget. The management agency called. They found another renter for the house and said that the repairs for the house were minimal, just paint to freshen up.”
True to his word, he had bought you a house, deeded it in your name and hired a management company to handle the day to day issues and repairs. All of the profits were deposited into a bank account that was solely yours, even though you had access to everything of Dieter’s. “So that’s a weight off before the baby comes.”
The money going into that bank account is going to pay for the kids’ college. You won’t use it for yourself, not when you are happily married to Dieter. “Yes. Glad they managed to find another tenant.” You smile, reaching for his hand to kiss the back of it.
“Daddy!” Oliver rushes over to him after shifting off of the sofa.
“Yeah, buddy?” Dieter groans as he bends over to pick him up.
“Can I come? To get ice cream?” He asks and Dieter nods, “of course.” You smile, loving how close Oliver and Dieter are. You adopted Rosie and he adopted Oliver not long after you were married. It felt natural and meant to be. Your little family, complicated but perfect.
“We will be right back. Rosie, you wanna come?” Dieter asks and she shakes her head, climbing onto the sofa.
“I wanna stay with mommy.” You pull her close, “we can watch our show while the boys are out.” You tell her in a playful whisper and she grins.
“We will be back soon.” Dieter promises and you smirk at him, “after ice cream, the kids need to nap. Mommy needs ‘nap time’ too.” You say to Dieter and he smirks back at you, “what mommy wants, mommy gets.” He promises, knowing he wants you to moan his name while the kids are asleep. From Rosie getting shoved into his arms on a random day, to having a family with a baby on the way. Dieter never imagined being a family man but now, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Dieter Bravo x f!reader
Warnings/Tags/Notes: 18+. FEELINGS. Angst. love. just...feelings. Mention of f receiving oral, reader is a not a us-citizen (visa stuff), commitment and intimacy issues all round, did I mentioned feelings? This just kinda started writing itself, i appreciate there isn't enough Dieter in it but it is what it is. Unedited, unbeta'd.
Words: 1.1k
Summary: It's more than enough. Having what you have with him now.
"We could get married"
You look up from your book, drawn back from your far away to the sound of his voice. Dieter is looking at you expectantly.
Your eyes widen as you process the four words that just left his mouth.
"Dee, we…why would we…" You trail off, drawing your legs up and out of his lap, his thumb presses down on the arch of your foot once more before he lets it go.
The conversation had moved on hours ago. Over takeout you'd mentioned trepidation over being able to stay in the country, struggling with your visa and having no sponsorship since you couldn't seem to get a fucking job right now.
Dieter had listened, sympathised, and then eaten you out for dessert just to make you feel better about your situation.
It helped. He'd been pretty mediocre but extremely enthusiastic when you'd met, but now you'd taught him some tricks he knew just how to turn your mind off for a moment.
The conversation was finished the moment he put his mouth on you, or so you thought. He could help you pay for an extension but he wasn't influential or wealthy enough to sway the embassy into letting you stay longer.
"I'd bribe the fuck out of them if I could, you know that"
You did know that. You knew he'd do anything for you. He'd been saying it since the day he met you, once famous (more like infamous) movie star turned rehabilitated recluse with no one willing to be by his side until that day.
He'd met you in a Dennys, of all places. 3am waffles served to his lonely little corner booth because he found it hard to sleep these days, and he got hungry at random times. You took the late shifts because they paid the best, and you could be available in the day for calls from your agent that never came.
It hadn't been sexual at first. It hadn't been anything but a displaced, alone man and an exhausted, untethered waitress sitting in a booth and sharing free fries because chef made too many and they'd only go to waste. It had been whispered giggles, and sharing ridiculous Hollywood horror stories, and 'same time tomorrow' over and over again.
No one in LA had made you laugh. Not until you met him.
Dieter hadn't heard genuine laughter in years. Now he got to hear it every night.
Back in the now, you shake your head. He's being silly. He's trying to make you laugh again.
"Don't be stupid" You playfully shove his shoulder with your foot, but his face falls into a frown, and you feel a little crack in your heart at the sight. You watch as he stands, rubbing fingers across his forearm and muttering a little 'Stupid, yeah'. The tremor you feel inside you is nameless, and you will it to remain that way.
In the last six months of your knowing each other, there have been times when you've felt this same feeling. An ache at the thought that he could be anything other than happy. You'd long since left Dennys for the upward trajectory of the Cheesecake Factory but still when the late shift rolls around you feel a tug at your lips and a name on them, even when you'd seen him only hours before.
You're not an item, that's the thing. You're not a couple. Neither of you have ever said the words outright, no 'I want to be with you', 'I want to be yours'. Not to each other, at least.
It's more than enough. Having what you have with him now. It's enough, it's enough, it's enough. Enough that he will sit up all night long and read lines with you again and again and again. Enough that he tells you not to come over on his bad days but you do anyway, and hold him while he cries.
It's enough to be just this. Because more would only make it hurt more when he relapses, when you have to leave.
When you have to leave…
You close your book, set it down on the table that's strewn with pages for your latest audition. Last night he'd coached you through every single line, and then told you with passion just how perfect you were. You can hear him in the kitchen, and you know he's making himself a decaf latte with way too much caramel syrup and a dash of the kitkat sprinkles because that's what he always makes when he might be starting to crave something else.
That's how you know he wasn't making a joke. That's how you know your hurt his feelings. That and every look he's ever given you, every smile that lights up his eyes that's only been for you. That and the way his hands never stray far from you, always grounding himself with the touch of your skin to his.
"Dee…" You pad up to him slowly, watch as he tenses at your presence. Another prickle in your chest, you can't let him think you don't feel...what it is that you feel.
"Would it be so bad?" He asks without turning, the tinge of dejection in his tone making you reach out. "I'd treat you good, you know. We wouldn't even have to live together or anything…it can just be a way for you to stay. That's all. I didn't think it would be so bad for you"
God, you've had him right in your grasp this whole time. The two of you dancing around your feelings all because of fears you didn't even fully realise you had til now.
"I'd- I wouldn't even tell anyone you were my wife, if you didn't want me to. I wouldn't expect anything from it. I just…fuck,"
You turn him around with a pull to his arm, shake your head and bite back something hopeful and beautiful that inches up your throat,
"I don't want you to go"
Your arms are around his middle, a stifled sob as you bury your face against the soft, worn fabric of his favourite t-shirt - your favourite by extension because everything he loves you love too. He smells like him.
You breathe him in.
He smells like home.
You look up at him and smile. Not the pretty smile you give to casting agents - the one that makes you look perfect - but the big, happy, loving one he saw the very first night you two met in that Dennys at three in the morning on a random Tuesday. The one he gives you back is the same; he's smiled a thousand times on camera, in films and press appearances and award shows. No one else but you has ever seen this smile.
You take a deep breath. The crack in your heart starts in fusing back together.
"We could get married"

ahh nervous to post this (first time writing for him!) but excited about this gorgeous moodboard I recieved for Summer Lovin’ 24! 🏕️💖 thanks so much for hosting @pedgito, @amanitacowboy, and @chaotic-mystery!
Dieter really can talk you into anything.
The official table read is on Monday, scenes due to start shooting soon after. You really shouldn’t be thirty miles out of town right now - leaving the comforts of your apartment and the air conditioning of the limo, to hike another mile into the forest.
But you’ll trade the luxury for a chance to spend time with him. An old spot, he said. His dad’s cousin’s place, bought it off him when they needed the money. Been in the family for years.
“You gotta immerse yourself,” Dieter had told you, his arms spreading wide, “What better place to practice lines than here?”
It’s your first time in a movie with him. You’re not sure if he’s really a method actor. Equally not sure that it’s needed for a movie called Campground Carnage II - or if the city just seemed a little too loud, a little too busy.
Deep down, you hope it might just be an excuse to get you alone.
You'd be pretty alright with that.
It’s been hard to sneak around Los Angeles. There’s cameras everywhere. An obsession with one Dieter Bravo - the current hottest, most eccentric star.
You’d met before his last big break. Reading lines for Covert Affairs, but they had passed over the mutual chemistry for an actress with a little more weight to her name.
He had gotten the part, and you had gotten his number. Two desperate hookups when you both ended up in Vegas at the same time.
Only to come back together a year later.
“Long Island,” He had smiled, when he saw you, “Good to see you again.”
You had been surprised he remembered you, much less the drink he had bought. Enough alcohol in both your systems that you would’ve forgiven him if he had.
Not that you would have, though. Not with that mouth of his.
Something that you’re thinking about now, as the trees clear. The cabin tucked between them - a peeking sliver of a river cutting through the terrain behind it.
A cozy little thing, not much bigger than the apartment you’re missing. Built with thick wooden logs, two tidy windows out front, the checkered curtain pulled shut.
The key ring twirls on his finger, as Dieter moves ahead to unlock the door.
You can’t help appreciating the view, as he does. This ‘camping’ look suits him. It’s almost enough to make you a little jealous of his ability to look good in anything and everything he throws on.
A tight black tee, the hat that’s pulled down over his messy curls. Featuring an embroidered trout, with “fish want me, women fear me” scripted above and below that he found at a garage sale. Patterned crocs with matching shorts that only reach mid-thigh.
And you're at least 45-percent sure the fanny pack around his waist is filled with condoms and KitKats.
It’s been hard to keep your mind off him, on the drive over. Battering his wandering hands away, with the driver only a few feet from you. Still shy, both enthralled and not used to his open affection.
Trying to concentrate on the script. Preparing to run lines, just in case his suggestion for this weekend wasn’t some kind of euphemism.
But you kept going back to a particular scene. The two counselors - that’s you and him - sneaking off to one of the cabins in the campground.
A steamy encounter involving both the top and bottom of a bunk bed, and a lot of Bravo on his knees. Anything to showcase his physique, you’re already picturing how they’ll stage it with the female gaze in mind.
Bare back, you’re guessing. A hint of ass, but still tasteful.
The scene a fake-out - featuring a jump scare, with the shadow of a person passing by the windows behind you. Tapping into that classic trope - first to fuck, first to die.
Which might be true - if it was his first movie.
He doesn’t actually make it to the end, though. Dieter’s demise coming from a staged accident in the fishing lake, just as the movie lulls into a sense of safely. One final blow before the big reveal.
You know people will be pissed about that. As a fan of the series, even you are a little.
But the thought of having a scene with him - there is a flicker of excitement, that dulled heat in your belly - even though you know that logically, it will all be purely professional.
It’s still fun to imagine.
The door cracks open, but there’s something else with the sound. You frown, your head whipping towards the woods behind you. Searching for the source of the noise, one that sounded a little too familiar.
“Did I just hear a camera click?”
“Nah,” Dieter shrugs, “There’s no way they know about this place.”
"Yeah,” You hum, giving another glance. There’s nothing but the rustle of trees, the rush of the water. A self-conscious laugh, as you head inside, “Maybe I’m immersing myself too much.”
“No hauntings or serial killers here, sweetheart.” He smiles, “But if you’re scared I have a few ideas to get your mind off things…”
The door clicks shut behind him.
Your eyebrow arches, “Oh yeah? Like what?”
Dieter pretends to think, as he advances on you. Hands reaching out to trace up your sides, pulling you flush against him.
“Can think of a scene I’d like to start with,” He husks, eyes darkening, “There’s no bunk bed here, but I think we can make do.
Hunger flares in you, now that you're alone. Your eyes dip to the curl of his mouth, no more than a breath before you’re pressing your lips to his. A rough moan as his hands slide up your back, his tongue already brushing across your lower lip.
Tasting sweet when they part for him, your own moan swallowed as you lose your grip on your bag, letting it tumble to the floor.
It’s always so easy to get lost in him. If you’re not careful, you might just get swept away.
“You don’t want to see what the directors have in mind?” You tease, when you pull back for a breath, “Hold off on that scene until later?”
“No can do.” Dieter groans, as he pulls you back to him, “Not with you looking like this.”
You can’t help the smile, as you start the stumbling journey through the main room, wandering hands and the press of mouths.
His hand grasping your ass as your fingers slip under his shirt - the other reaching for the door he has you backed up against. A creaking swing, as it opens.
Dieter’s hands are at your hips, as soon as the back of your knees hit the bed.
“Let me taste you, baby.” It’s mumbled against your lips. His fingers dipping beneath your waistband. A nail tracing the edge of your underwear, raising goosebumps, “Been thinking about it all day.”
You remember this from before. How focused he gets. Willing to beg, shameless, if there’s something he wants.
And you’re always willing to give.
The bed is soft - covered in worn buffalo-checkered sheets - as you let yourself be lowered onto it. His hands catch your ankles, tugging you down until your legs drape off the edge.
Spread wide, so he can fit between them as he kneels. Batting your hand away as you go to push down your shorts.
“I wanna do it.” He hums. His own shorts already pulled tight, a hand coming to palm himself in anticipation.
Your hips lift for him. Nails bite into skin, grasping fabric and pulling down both layers. Easing them around the bulk of your gym shoes so his palms can press into your thighs, spreading them even wider.
A rough noise, when he sees you.
“You been thinking about this too, babe?” He coos, a thumb pressing against your slit. Rolling against the wet gleam of your center, as it betrays your desire.
You huff, the muscles in your legs flexing. Breath held as your eyes flit up to his, waiting. Watching, as he sucks your slick from his skin with a groan.
“Bet you were. Saw you eye-fucking me in the limo, all while telling me to keep my hands to myself.”
"I-I," You try to answer. To protest - to say you weren't - but his palms are smoothing up your skins. Distracting, as he slowly moves.
Those eyes focused on yours as his head tips. An open-mouthed kiss to your knee, then thigh. Moving up, as your heart races.
Inner thigh, now.
"Dee," There's a buck of your hips, with your whine, “Don’t tease.”
It’s futile, you’re certain. Unable to take what you dish out. But perhaps he’s been pushed too far as well.
“Tell me you need it.” His pupils are blown-wide, drunken already.
It’s easy to answer.
“Please. I need you.”
The next kiss is right against your slit. Messy, as his mouth covers you. Your fingers twisting in the blanket, as your knees press against his shoulders.
He’s too good. Teasing with the wet brush of his tongue. The slow creep of his fingers, the tip of one pressing against your entrance - only to withdraw just as you clench down.
Again, and then again. Slowly sinking into you, one knuckle at a time. Working you open, until you’re stretched wide around three of them - too full to form words.
“Don’t need direction for this,” His eyes flip to yours, a dimpled smile as his fingers sink deep and then curl, “Do I, baby?”
He does it again, as your answer pitches high. Your hips bucking into his touch as his tongue licks at you again. Timing it so that the point of his tongue teases your clit, each time his fingers rub against the spongey spot inside you.
He’s going to make you come. You’re too wound up, too needy for him.
“Fuck, Dieter.” You keen - your leg hooking over his shoulder, “Oh fuck, keep doing that-“
“That’s it baby,” He grins, “Improvise for me.”
It makes you laugh, which has him groaning as you tighten around his fingers. His left hand dropping to push down the waistband of his shorts. Fingers pulling from you only long enough to smear your arousal on his cock, to pump his fist until he’s covered.
It’s then that you think you hear it again. Just as his tongue slips inside you. Another mechanical sound from outside, just barely audible through the wooden walls.
“Dee,” You moan, fingers twisting in his hair. Either to pull him closer or push him away, you’re not sure, “I d-definitely heard-”
“Can’t see in here.” It’s mumbled out, gasped between your thighs.
He’s seen to that, at least. The blinds thick, the bedroom tucked away.
A grin, as his tongue flattens - licking from hole to clit, “Wasn’t planning on leaving, anyways.”
You trust him, knowing he wouldn't leave you vulnerable. The sound in your throat is muffled as your teeth clench, “But they-, what if they hear us?”
It’s only now that his head lifts, those dark eyes blown wide. Paired with a lazy smile, his lips shining as they stretch wide.
A soft croon.
“Then I guess you’d better be quiet.”
Your laugh turns into a soft groan, at the flick of his tongue. Self-conscious perhaps, but not wholly and entirely deterred by the thought of an audience.
Not when you’re with him.
“Keep that up,” You manage - as something molten floods through your belly, “And you might have to help a girl out.”
His weight presses into you as he moves up - heated, bare skin as he settles between your thighs. Dieter’s nose skimming your throat, as his hand slips between your thighs.
Just before his mouth presses to yours, swallowing you moan.
“That, baby… I can do.”
just wanted to try something fun 🏕️ thank you so much for reading! and thanks again for this awesome event!

If you met someone who was really into, like, idk, elevators, you'd probably first assume that this person is someone who's not only knowledgeable about a wild range of elevators, can name 15 different types of elevators (and the major subtypes of all of them, and all of them have like 10 subtypes and there's more structural nuances than that), is interested in trying out - or at least learning more about - any new type of elevator they hear of, and if you ask them to name their favourite type of elevator, they'd think of so many that they have a hard time choosing just one, and even if they have several least favourite types, that's way less than half the length of the list of the ones they like the best.
If you asked a geologist what their favourite kind of rocks are, they'd start listing them out by cathegories, there's so many different types and they're all really cool and interesting in their own ways. Someone who's really into birds is probably going to have a favourite kind of corvid, owl, parrot and some branches of birds you've never heard of. Everyone who's really into some specific subject generally has a hard time picking their favourite type, because so many kinds are cool in such different ways. And if you know of some different one that they've never heard of, they're intrigued to learn more.
Straight-up nobody who's truly, genuinely, passionately into the subject they claim to be really into will tell you "actually there is just one specific type that's good, these are the exact parametres of what they must be within, and anything that isn't within this narrow range is trash that I hate." This isn't a fan or an enthusiast, but a snob. And probably a poser, who doesn't even really like the thing in general but for some reason would rather present themselves as an expert with a refined taste, than just admitting that they don't actually really even like the thing in general all that much.
I don't get what the kind of men who claim to be some sort of Paragon Manliest Heterosexual Man try to achieve by boasting about how picky they are about women. Like oh, the only women who are even passably attractive to you are within this exact 3-year age range, within these height and weight ranges, education level, religious beliefs, political ideals, and so on? Yeah sorry but you're clearly far less into women than the dude who'll go full Johnny Bravo at any female figure he encounters and is currently shagging women beyond your comprehension.

𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙢 || dieter bravo x camgirl!reader (part two)
read 𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙩 (part one) here
𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 || these video calls have become the new normal for the two of you, but it might be time to take the next step.
𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 || 3.2k
𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 || smut (18+ only; video call sex, dirty talk, use of sex toys, and a touch of breeding kink), sex work (again, kind of inherent to the whole thing), basically porn without plot but with feeeeelinggsssss 💕
(this week's challenge for @the-slumberparty was to write a follow up to something I wrote previously, figured there was an obvious solution to that prompt!)
“Did you get what I asked you to?” you asked with a coy smile.
“Yeah, it’s right here…”
He held up the fleshlight in front of the camera's view, strategically angled down to his chest and lap so he could keep his face hidden, and couldn't help but notice that mischievous sparkle in your eye. “Have you tried it yet?”
“No, I figured I’d wait to see what you wanted me to do with it,” he replied, and you laughed.
“Well, there’s really only one thing you can do with it, sweetie,” you purred— why did that little pet name turn him on so much? “I want you to fuck it. I wanna watch you fuck it.”
"Okay," he breathed, "sounds… interesting."
"I'd like to see your face— you know, see you really react to how it feels— but I know you said you don't want to yet…"
It already gave him a little anxiety that you were seeing his body, if covered up by the t-shirt and boxers, but you at least acted like you were enjoying what you saw so far. "Will you settle for seeing how hard I am instead?" he asked, and you licked your lips.
"Seems like a fair trade," you giggled.
He reached into his boxers, but saw that the view of the webcam cut him off— so he slowly tilted his laptop down, letting the camera pan to his hand around his leaking cock.
“Oh— fuck, that’s really you?” you choked.
“Yeah,” he answered, not sure if that was the right or wrong answer but knowing it was at least the true one.
“Hold up… three fingers, right now,” you ordered suddenly, “with your other hand.”
Confused but not willing to question it, he put his free hand in frame and did as you’d asked.
“Just— you know, just checking,” you explained, “people can, like, hack Zoom and put up a video or something, wanted to make sure it’s really you…”
“Is it that hard to believe?” he wondered.
“It’s just that, you know… you’re big,” you mumbled. “I mean, no offense to my viewers or anything, but—definitely the biggest I’ve seen in a video call, I’ll say that.”
That made his cock flex in his hand. “So, you like it then?”
“Like it? Wish you could’ve seen how wet I got when that popped up,” you laughed. “God, I would suck you—I mean I would really suck your cock, lick it all over, taste those balls—”
He squeezed his cock in his hand, snarling a little. “That’s so hot,” he groaned.
“And I can just tell you’d go so deep inside me,” you added, making his chest tighten up. “Do you know how many inches it is? I wanna try to find the closest toy I have to your size, then I can really imagine how you’d feel in my pussy.”
He was almost high just on the knowledge that you wanted to imagine that. “Uh—eight, maybe eight and a half…”
"Fuck," you breathed. "Yeah, I— I think I have a vibrator that size, but I'm not sure it'll be… thick enough…"
"Well, mine doesn't vibrate," he warned you with a laugh.
"Yeah, and mine isn't dishwasher safe," you returned.
"Oh god— people clean these in the dishwasher?" Dieter realized with a shudder.
"Yeah— I'm guessing you've never used one before?" you pressed, and he shook his head— before he remembered you couldn't see it.
"No," he answered aloud. "I, uh, usually just prefer the real thing."
"Right— me too, but you know, we make do," you laughed. "So? Wanna give it a spin?"
"I, uh, I guess so…"
Grabbing the toy from the little bedside table, he looked at it for a moment— it was shaped like a vulva around the opening, but it wasn't that realistic. First of all, it was only one color; second of all, the design was so simplified that it was missing the things he loved most about a pussy in terms of looks. Not the Dieter had ever thought the visual element was its strongest…
But yours was gorgeous— beyond perfect. Looked edible, delicious even, with a clit he wanted to suck on for hours and a cute little hole he couldn't imagine being lucky enough to fill with his cock. And this toy was just that— a toy, a piece of silicone, and he really only had any interest in it because this whole thing was your idea.
Sighing, he slipped the toy down on himself; he wasn't sure what he was expecting, really, but it was a unique feeling. Not as hot or wet as a real body, of course, but there was a nice pressure to it.
“How’s it feel?” you asked warmly.
“Good,” he breathed— not a very creative answer, but the best one he could come up with now. “Way better than my hand, but nothing like, you know—”
“Nothing like me?" you assumed.
He sighed as he started to stroke himself with the toy— long, slow movements to get used to it. "Yeah," he agreed, "nothing like— fuck— like you…"
"Are you imagining it's me instead?" you pressed, leaning in closer and watching intently. "Imagining me riding you nice and slow like that? Letting you hold my hips and move me just how you like?"
"I'm certainly trying to," he mumbled.
"Look how wet I am," you encouraged, and he leaned his head to the side a bit so he could see the screen better: you had your legs spread wide for him, and your fingers were rubbing your glistening cunt. "I'd drench your cock, baby, probably make a fucking mess on you—"
"Fuck," he moaned, "use the toy on yourself. Fuck yourself with it while I'm doing this."
You spread your legs and pushed the vibe inside— but you didn't turn it on— with a sigh; you were already finding a place you liked by pushing it in and out with your hand, but he stopped you before you got too into it.
"No," he corrected, "ride it."
You smirked. "Maybe my legs are sore."
"Maybe I don't give a fuck."
You bit your lip and sat up, holding the toy between your legs and rocking your hips as you started to ride.
He whimpered when he saw the way you were enjoying the toy— you picked it because it was close to his size, so it was impossible not to picture being under you and watching you sink yourself down on him just like that.
"Feels so good," you panted, "been wet all day waiting for our call… and I can't stop staring at your cock…"
"You really like our calls that much?" he wondered, knowing your answer couldn't be totally honest but not really caring anymore— he craved the fantasy, that was why he couldn't stop booking these.
"Yeah," you hummed. "Don't tell anyone, but you're my favorite."
"Don't… don't flatter me," he pleaded, trying to remind himself that you were just saying nice things because you were paid to.
"It's true," you assured. "Your voice turns me on like crazy— not to mention the shit you actually say with it…"
Figuring he should treat you to a little bit of that dirty talk you apparently enjoyed, he swallowed and conjured some courage to boss you around a bit. "Turn around— wanna see your ass," he demanded, moaning louder when you did as you were told. "Look so fuckin' good riding that…"
You arched your back further just to give him a better view; he hissed, pumping the toy faster.
"God, you drive me crazy showing off your ass like that," he admitted with a groan. "Needs a good spank but I'm afraid to crack my computer screen."
You laughed a little, but reached back and pulled your ass apart so he could get a better view of that pink hole swallowing up the toy.
"Jeeeeeesus fucking Christ," he grunted, moving his own toy faster. "You've got the most beautiful cunt, baby, I swear…"
"And you've got such a nice cock," you replied with a groan. "Can't stop thinking about it— I just know you'd stretch me out, baby, the way I like—"
"Fuck, I would," he promised. "I know how you need it, I just know— I swear I wouldn't stop until you came all over me, until you fucking soaked me—*
"Baby," you panted.
"And then I still wouldn't stop until you did it again—"
"Fuck!" you whined, and he saw your pussy tighten on the vibrator. "That sounds so fucking good— sounds like exactly what I need. Just to be fucked until I can't think anymore…"
"God— you don't need to think," he promised. "Just need to keep your legs open, I'll do the rest."
You moaned louder, and bounced faster on the fake cock. "Yeah, I will— I'll just let you do all the work, okay? Lay back and let you do what you want?"
*Fuck, yeah," he mumbled. "Let me give that pussy what if needs… I know what you need, I can tell. You need it deep, right?"
"Yeah…"
"And hard? Fast?"
"Yes—"
"Shit, baby— turn around again, miss that pretty face— and I know you wanna look at it more, don't you? You really like looking at my cock?"
You laughed slightly as you quickly turned back to face the camera. "I mean— I wanna do a lot more than look at it, but this is all I can do right now."
"What else do you wanna do with it, then?"
"Choke on it," you answered instantly. "Beg for it."
"Fuck," he whispered.
"Rub my pussy on it, show you how bad I need you…"
"Mm," he moaned in agreement.
"Then I could just… slide it inside, try to fit you in my little hole, feel you going so deep…"
A little whimper slipped from his lips accidentally, and his eyes shut for a moment as he tried to picture it— you in his lap right now, looking back over your shoulder as you guided his cock into you. It was a great image, but the toy wasn't enough— it wasn't warm enough to be you.
It was much better when he opened his eyes and saw how desperately you looked; you were literally dripping on the toy and he thought he might lose his mind.
"You like watching me use this that much?" he noticed. "You're so dirty, baby— so turned on watching my dick fill this fake pussy. I know you wish you were here instead— we both do."
“Oh my god,” you gasped, “I want you to fuck the toy just like you’d fuck me, please…”
He started to buck his hips up into it; he loved seeing the way your face changed when you watched him using the fleshlight more… aggressively. "How's that look?" he prompted you with a smirk. "You wanna be fucked like this?"
"God yes— I wanna be your toy, Hector," you informed him with a purr. "I'm jealous of it, actually— I'm watching you fuck that fake pussy and I'm jealous…"
"I always get jealous," he replied. "All those toys that get to feel you every night in your streams? I'm always thinking that should be me— I wanna make you come even harder than they do."
“I know you’d feel so much better,” you whimpered, “I know you’d fuck me better—you know how fucking tired I am of riding these toys? How badly I just want you to hold me down and fuck me as hard and deep as you want?”
“Fuck, I want that too,” he groaned.
“Yeah? Wanna use me?”
“Mhm,” he nodded.
"Wanna make me your toy?" you prompted.
Wanna make you my girl, he barely stopped himself from blurting out. "Y-yeah," he choked out instead.
Stroking himself faster with the toy, he grunted softly and adjusted his hips on the bed. "When you come, take the toy off," you instructed, "so I can see it. Pretty please?"
"Of course," he agreed. "It'll be hard to stop, but— I can do it, for you."
"How romantic," you cooed, and it wasn't totally clear how much you were joking. "I wanna see you coming so I can imagine how it would all feel inside me…"
"That's what I'm gonna imagine, too," he promised with a sigh, "all that come going deep inside you… and keeping you full all night so none of it goes to waste…"
"Fuck," you groaned, "are you that possessive, need to stay inside me all night? Won't let any of your come leak out?"
"Yeah— I'm… very possessive."
"Well, I like… being possessed…"
"Do you like being bred?"
You grinned, and he felt almost guilty for saying it— but the feeling was oddly erotic somehow. "Yeah," you breathed. "I like that… I like getting filled with come, hearing you promise that you're— fuck— gonna knock me up…"
He groaned as he tightened his gut to try to stave off the inevitable orgasm approaching. "I wasn't even into that until I started watching you," he admitted with a sigh, "used to be my worst fear, honestly… but now it's all I can think about… fucking you raw, knowing you're not on anything, knowing you could get—"
"Just— just pretend," you interrupted suddenly. "It's okay if it's just pretend, right?"
He was pleasantly surprised by the vulnerability of that. You could've just played into it, since it was all over video call anyways and didn't make much difference. It's not like he was going to get you pregnant from another continent. But he appreciated that you spoke up for yourself, even if he wasn't totally sure why. "Yeah, of course," he promised, voice a little softer. "That's the thing— even just pretending drives me crazy, turns me on like nothing else. You made me like this— don't even know how, but you made me want that."
"Fuck, that's— I'm close," you admitted, "really fucking close to coming for you… what else do I make you want?"
"You make me wanna buy you stuff," he added, laughing breathlessly. "Spoil you, you know. So much more than flowers."
"God, you know just what to say, don't you?" you sighed. "What else— just tell me what you want, tell me everything."
“I want you to be mine,” he answered, too lost in pleasure to be self-conscious about the honesty. “I want you to be only mine—want you here with me, want you in my bed all the fucking time, wanna make you come and make you say that you fucking belong to me.”
“Oh, fuck,” you whined, “that’s— fuck, I— I’m yours. I belong to you.”
“God,” he gasped, nearly a sob it was so intense— he never thought you’d really say that. “Don’t want you to let anybody else fuck you, or touch you. Just mine, baby, you need to just be mine—”
“I am, I am,” you promised. “I swear I’m fucking yours. Don’t want anybody else—just want you, it’s all yours, whatever you want—m’gonna be your girl. Your whore.”
“Fuck!” he moaned loudly, moving the toy so fast it was just a greyish blur over his cock. “When you come, you tell me whose you are— I’m gonna fucking come, just say it.”
“Yours, yours,” you promised, over and over, “you’re making me come, it’s you— yours, m'yours—”
He groaned loudly as he pulled the toy off of himself just in time for come to paint his stomach and thighs. He rode out his high untouched as he listened to your own cries, and kept his eyes trained on your face as you sobbed through the pleasure. “Fuck,” he sighed, “don’t stop, just keeping riding it—good girl.”
“Mhm,” you whimpered, shaking as you kept going, nodding and biting your lip. “Yeah, whatever you want…”
“Don’t stop until I tell you,” he ordered. “You keep riding that fucking dick, I don’t care if you can’t come anymore, keep fucking going—”
“Yes,” you promised, “I’m still going… I won’t stop, not until you say.”
Catching his own breath, he waited until your legs looked ready to give out before telling you that you could stop. The toy was drenched, your body was glistening with sweat—and he was panting so hard he felt dizzy.
“Holy shit,” you whispered. “I mean—fuck.”
“So you liked that, too?” he noticed, and you smiled hazily.
“Yeah—that was… damn. You wear me out, man.”
He laughed, though he barely had the air for it. “I wear you out? You see the contents of my balls all over the fucking place here?”
You laughed, then, and he still thought it was the best sound in the world, even better than hearing you come. “Yeah, fair,” you relented. “It was really hot, though—watching you come. Is it bad if I wanna make you do it again?”
“Shit, tonight? I don’t think I can—”
“No, no, not tonight, that might kill both of us,” you laughed. “I meant next time…”
That made him deflate a bit. Maybe this was all an upsell—it was just about getting him to pay for the next session, keeping him hooked so you could get the money and gifts.
“I was thinking, uh… maybe next time—oh god, this is a bad idea, but—maybe next time could be in person?"
And then his heart jumped. “We could, uh… that’s an option? We could meet up?” he rushed out, hoping not to sound too eager but failing completely.
“Yeah,” you decided, looking more self-conscious than he’d ever seen you. “I don’t know, I just— it feels different with you. That might be stupid but, it’s true. And the truth is, I know everybody probably assumes a lot because of the camming and stuff, but I haven’t had sex in… years. Just the toys. And I fucking miss it.”
“Yeah, me too,” he breathed. “I mean, uh, it hasn’t been that long for me… but I miss it— and I… I think I need you. Like, really need you.”
You smiled, and it was different than any of the ways he'd seen you smile before. "Yeah, I— I feel that, too. But, if we're gonna meet in person… I need to see your face."
Sighing shakily, he thought about it clearly for the first time. He was scared of meeting you in person, as badly as he wanted it. He was scared whatever magic you felt over video call wouldn't translate to real life; he was scared to disappoint you.
But he was more scared of losing you because he never had the guts to try. So, with a deep breath, he tilted the laptop back, and let the camera show his face.
His hair was even messier than he expected, so he tossed it with his fingers a bit, but otherwise just let you get a good look at him.
He'd spent most of his life being looked at— he'd spent most of his life trying to be looked at, fighting to be the center of attention. He wore shades and ball caps to avoid the paps like anyone else— because he thought he was supposed to— but deep down, he was addicted to being seen, in spite of his introversion.
He'd never felt as seen as he did when you were looking at him through that stupid webcam. He almost blushed, though he wasn't sure why.
"Hi," you greeted softly, sounding almost completely different than before.
"Hi," he said back.

ao3 link for this fic
It’s always a slow process for John - getting used to the slow, civilian ways when he finally gets his leaves approved. When he spends so much time on the field, more often than not he starts to forget about “the other side” of life. Lack of noise, mundane mornings, and silent nights come and with them, the all-encompassing feeling of loneliness starts to set in his gut. John gets reminded about the lack of anyone’s presence in his life. No one is waiting for him back home, and no one will probably be any time soon, with how work takes over most of his free time. And then the captain remembers he’s not getting any younger.
Of course, he had plenty of experience and relationships before, but none of them lasted until now when his hair was already graying and wrinkles were starting to riddle his face here and there. John wasn’t insecure about his age, no, because that would be foolish, really, rather it was the fact that he had no one to share with all the years that were ahead of him.
What John also had a hard time getting used to was driving the busy streets of London with its crazy drivers after months of not getting behind the wheel, which brings him to this moment. Well, it really was on him for trying to get somewhere after happy hour in all the pubs in the area ended, he should’ve probably anticipated some drunk idiot would want to drive back home today. John wasn’t in the right headspace at the moment to fill out all the paperwork and figure out who was in the wrong. His thoughts were far away from here. Probably all the impact from the airbag and the hit.
He’s had it worse before, of course, so some bruises and scratches here and there wasn’t something he couldn’t handle. John felt some pulsing pain in his knee, making it harder to stand upright, and a bit of an ache in his neck from the whiplash, but again, it wasn’t as bad as getting thrown into the wall by an explosion or falling out of a damn helicopter.
So now he has to spend the whole evening working out things with the police and that drunk idiot who bumped into him, freezing his ass off in the rain. Just perfect. John feels a surge of annoyance and exhaustion wash over him, he pinches his brow, letting out an impatient sigh. Cops have arrived on the scene already and started examining the two collided vehicles, after putting around some traffic cones so some other lucky fellas don’t decide to join in on the fun. From his spot on the sidewalk, John can also see the paramedics, who had to get involved because as soon as cops started questioning that drunk guy, he decided to scrunch into himself and show the world all the contents of his stomach. As if it needed to get even more complicated than it already was.
“Excuse me, sir? You’re the other…driver involved in the accident?” John suddenly hears a voice, a bit on the quiet side, which brings him out of his thoughts that involve strangling somebody in a variety of different ways. And oh, his nights instantly become tens, if not thousands of times better when he sees the owner of said voice.
Judging by the identifying markings you were a paramedic, and a very cute one at that, with your dull green uniform and a big jacket on, brows tied together in a concerned expression. Oh, and your eyes, they looked absolutely lovely in the low streetlights. Price is taken aback for the moment, forgetting every word in his vocabulary. He feels his heart starting to beat faster, blood flowing through his veins so fast he’s sure if it wasn’t for the evening darkness he’d most likely resemble a tomato. But then John realizes he must say something because just staring at you would just make him seem like some old creep. And he absolutely didn’t want that.
“Yes, that would be me.” He speaks up after clearing his throat. You nod to that, attentive gaze still on him. John then adds on after a short pause, which took him to let out a deep sigh. “You need me for anything?” Anything. Something. Please.
“Just checking up.” John feels his heart melt at that small smile that grazes your lips, making it obvious you’re satisfied with his answer. “You seem to be holding up better than the other driver.” You joke in an attempt to either lighten up the mood, which John appreciates, or to calm yourself a bit. It didn’t escape him how you seemed a little shaky. It was Friday night, so today’s shift might have been rough on you. Always the Friday nights.
“Well, anyone would hold up better than that bloke.” He jokes with a bit of abandon, a low chuckle escaping his lips, as he starts to overthink himself. John suddenly feels like a dumb teenager, which is never a good sign, especially when there is someone he’s interested in right in front of him. Price feels like his laugh is too rough, stance is too relaxed and everything is just a bit too much when your eyes are on him. Oh, he’s so going to embarrass himself.
“True, but let’s not tell him that.” You give a quiet laugh and John’s worries die down a little. Not completely, but enough to let his eyes get glued to your face. “How are you feeling? Is there any abnormal pain, anything unusual or out of the ordinary?” Oh, so you’re the type to get straight to business, huh? Interesting. Price liked that. “If there’s anything wrong we’ll get you right to the hospital.” Price declined when he got asked about the hospital before by another paramedic because there was no way he was going to spend even more time out of his house because of some minor scratches. But if it meant you’ll be there, he’s calling dibs on the seat beside you in the ambulance truck, dear lord.
“My knee’s complaining a bit, love.” John can see your eyes going as big as two shiny coins when you hear that pet name, which, to be fair, slipped out completely unintentionally. However, by the way you instantly light up in another shy smile, he can tell you don’t really mind it, so his nervousness caused by this… “happy accident”, comes down again. “Some bruises, but I’m not about to hold you up because of those.”
“Oh, well, that’s alright, come with me and I can check you out…” You stutter over your words while talking a bit too quickly and once you understand what you said, an annoyed groan comes out of you. Way to embarrass yourself. “I mean, check your knee out in the ambulance, alright?” You again shoot him a smile. Which probably is in vain, since he’s a patient at the moment, and you’re at work, and that’s very much frowned upon, but what can you do? You don’t meet a man like that everywhere. He looks a bit rough around the edges, but that’s part of the charm.
“I’m sure your hands are already full with that hero of the day over there, I’m good.” What. The fuck. Are you doing. John. The only chance he gets to talk to you and he’s blowing it, for fuck’s sake. He didn’t know why he said that. Maybe not to seem desperate in a very self-sabotaging way, but that’s just. Oh, John, you’re too old for playing some damn games with someone you like.
“You know what? I insist.” Your voice is lower and rougher. And when you top it off with another one of your sweet smiles and a gentle touch on his shoulder? John is a gone man. Turning into complete mush, putty, if you will. God, for this perfect smile he was ready to smash and repair every single house appliance and pipe in your house.
“Alright then. Anything for you, love, lead the way.” And you did, with your hand resting softly on his back, helping him forward. John wished you would’ve been bolder with your touch, so he could feel more than just a light graze, but still. It felt good.
And then he finds himself in the back of the ambulance truck, this cramped, tiny space making him hold his breath from being so goddamn nervous in your presence. You told him to take a seat while rummaging through some cabinets and various medical bags for something. Seemingly not finding anything that you needed you spoke up to him again.
“Okay, now let me see your knee, sir.” You mumbled while kneeling in front of him, your eyes concentrated on the man. He didn’t mind you calling him sir at all. John was so used to being called that, but right now it just spread that very pleasant warm feeling inside of him.
“Well, I’m not taking my pants off. Not without a dinner first.” Price chuckled, as he tried rolling up one of his pants legs. And, well, his statement wasn’t that far from the truth. The whole deal with examination was a bit awkward to begin with, so he didn’t want to make it even worse.
“I’ll think about it, big guy.” You chuckle, as you finally start looking at his knee, small, feather-light touches sending sparks over Price’s skin. So, you enjoyed teasing him like that, huh? In combination with that nice, sweet smile? Oh, John is sold. He definitely should you invite somewhere while he still has time on his leave. But before he can open his mouth to make a brave offer you speak up again. “Looks like you have a minor sprain in here, your knee’s all swollen. I’ll apply some elastic bandages, that you’re going to have to wear for some time and redo yourself. But overall you seem to be doing good” Price couldn’t help but feel like that last remark wasn’t about his health.
“Yeah. Yeah. That’s all fine with me, love. Do what you have to.” You only nod in response, spending some time rummaging in the cupboards once again and emerging victorious with a roll of elastic bandages in your hands. You return to your previous position in front of John, and adjust his knee with a firm hand, mumbling a quiet “Hold still, please”. Oh, he’d freeze for centuries if you had asked him to. But he does, and as you wrap the bandage around his knee, which just kept pulsing with hot pain, he couldn’t help but admire you. The trained movements, the concentrated gaze, the warm touch…Maybe he really should act on his thoughts. Maybe it’s his chance. Maybe something can work out and this accidental meeting will become…something more.
Price wanted it to become something more.
His imagination ran rampant, picturing you wearing something nice and fancy, in case you do agree on a date. John totally should not be thinking this when you were right there, finally putting some finishing touches on his knee bandaging, so he forced them out of his mind and cleared his throat. Here goes nothing. But before Price can even utter a single sound you’re already being called over by your colleague. Guess he’ll just have to wait until you’re free of your duties, huh?

Price comes home to his sweet little spouse who spent all day long making sure the house was just perfect for their lovely husband.
They go around making sure her husband has a home cooked meal, that their babies are fed (fur babies or your actual children you pick), that they’ve made sure it’s all warm and cozy.
When he walks in he sees his beautiful little spouse finishing up still in their apron, all wrapped in a little bow all for him! What a lovely little present.
Now we all know Price is a very hard working man. I mean we all know it’s not easy handling the others on the 141 and it’s definitely not easy being away from the missus. All that time on base with the team and all of those soldiers? He definitely needed his sweet angel in his arms with theirs wrapped around him or maybe their lips wrapped around him, either one works for this big strong leader.
He would so be the one who praises you but makes sure you’re also taken care of. If you’re out in the living room he’d make sure you have a pillow under your knees and as you go and start taking care of him he’d say “there you go angel, takin’ care of me so well.”
He’s the type to hold your hair back while you go down on him and he doesn’t seem like the type to make any noise, if he is he’s definitely a grunter. Kinda like how Simon would be.
He takes charge and makes sure you’re okay at the same time, after all you’re his highest priority.
He would never let his angel be the only one having fun. He’s a give and take kinda man so if you help him destress, he’ll give it back ten fold even on the very table you prepared all this delicious food at.
He loves your lips after a long stressful time on base but he’ll worship and praise your body more times than you can count. He’ll make sure you’re seeing the stars up above and the only thing you’ll remember is his name.
Hope you enjoyed! Please follow, like and Reblog💜 -Midnight’s Cafe

Hi Charlie, I like your stories, they are good and inspiring. I wanted to ask you without disturbing how slashers react with a female reader who can go back in time like Max in Life is Strange.
To see a loved one die is the most painful feeling in the world. As a time traveller, you had had your share of misadventures and you always tried to do your best. But…Then you had to go through the loss of someone you never thought you had to save. And it hurt to see how you could as easily lose a slasher as you could lose anyone else.
Jason Voorhees:
Jason was simply protecting you. He protected you as some of the campers shot at you both. He used his body as a shield and held you in his arms until it was over and he died in your arms. You looked at his body and your eyes filled with tears and you let out a gut-wrenching scream as pain overwhelmed you.
You then came back in time and tried—again and again. You wanted him to stay alive. You wanted him to stay. And you tried every possible outcome and everything that you could think of. Hoping that you would find the right ending.
Bo Sinclair:
Bo was hurt badly and he knew he didn’t have much time to live. He looked at you and smiled—trying to reassure you.
"Hey, darls’…Seems like it is the end of the road for this handsome mech’, huh ?" He tried to joke, but you felt your heart clench.
You hugged him tightly.
"No…No, Bo. It’s okay. You will be okay." You sobbed and Bo smiled before kissing your forehead. He then pressed his forehead against yours as he felt his eyes slowly close.
"Tell Vince and Lessy that…for what it’s worth…I was and am proud of ‘em. I was so damn proud of being their big bro—to the end."
Before you could reply, Bo fell back on the floor.
You screamed and shook him, but no matter how much you cried and called out his name, he was gone. Hence, you had no choice but to go back. You tried again and again. It was hard seeing you fail and fail again to save him, but you had to keep trying, keep fighting…for him and for his brothers who you knew needed him just as much as he needed them.
Freddy Krueger:
Freddy sputtered blood and forced himself to smile at you. Funny. He thought he would never die—especially not for something good. But here you were, something good that he had tried to protect. And even though he was dying, Freddy was happy he got to see you one last time.
"It’s over, sweetheart. Freddy’s gotta go now." Freddy said, but you shook your head.
"I can’t. I won’t. You’re too stubborn to die, Freddy."
Freddy laughed at your words. In normal circumstances, he would have agreed, but not this time. He could feel death coming. He would go back to hell—he had avoided it long enough. He smiled and blood ran down his chin as he cupped your cheek.
"Don’t be sad, sweetheart…I will be joining old friends now."
You sobbed and hugged him tightly. When he breathed out one last time and you could see that he was really gone, you lowered his head gently on the floor before standing up and closing your eyes. Return…Turn back…You had to turn back.
Norman Bates:
You had received a call from Norman. He wanted to see you. You didn’t know why until you arrived and found a lot of dead soldiers at the door.
"Norman ? Norman !" You called for him and ran in a hurry—your heart hammering in your chest.
You searched for him everywhere until you finally found him in the back of the motel. He was holding his side where you could see blood tainting his white shirt. He turned towards you and smiled.
"Bravo, my little monster. You found me."
Your breath hitched and you quickly ran to him—your phone already out to call for help, but he stopped you. He smiled sadly and held you in his arms.
"My darling…In all those years, you are the only one who was never afraid of me. You are the only one who ever truly cared for me. I am sorry to be leaving you this way, but know that I love you, Y/N. And if my time has come, then I am happy I will be spending my last moments with you."
You sobbed against his shoulder.
"Don’t leave me…Norman."
Norman didn’t answer. You looked at him and saw that his eyes were closed. There was no more life left in him and you cried harder—the world shifting around you. You needed to find a way to save him…
Michael Myers:
"It’s…okay." Michael whispered to you as you were sobbing against his chest. He knew that the day would come when even the boogeyman would have to die…He had expected it, wished it even. But he hadn’t expected someone who would actually miss him—and yet here you were.
He looked around him at all the other slashers surrounding him. He smiled. He hadn’t expected a family, he hadn’t expected people to be there for his departure from this world…And yet, here they all were. The people he had learnt to care about and love.
They were safe. They were all safe. That was all that mattered.
And even if he wasn’t to live through the night, he was happy to know that there would be people who would remember him fondly. He thought before his hand fell to the ground.
The other slashers were all affected by the loss.
Michael was…their friend. Some slashers cried (Jason and Brahms), some remained silent (Freddy and Norman), some didn’t even know how to react because they thought that slashers were immortal (Penny and Pennywise). But all felt genuine anger and grief at the loss of the…greatest of them all. It wasn’t the death of a man, it was the death of a legend.
You looked at Michael’s face and knew that you had to do something…Hence, you looked at the other slashers and promised to bring Michael back before turning back the clock.
Pennywise:
Pennywise was alone. He had stayed behind to protect you and his brother from the Losers’ club. He stood before the door of the hospital and heard you scream from one of the windows.
"Pennywise ! No ! Don’t do this ! Please ! Come back inside !" You were crying and Pennywise turned back towards you with a small smile.
"Don’t you worry, doll. I am immortal, remember ?"
But then, he turned back towards the Losers’ Club and opened his arms wide.
"Come at me, you bunch of losers ! Let me see what you got !"
He didn’t expect it when all the losers aimed at him and started shooting silver bullets. It only occurred to him when he felt the pain and blood ran down his chin. He screamed in pain and revealed his true form before lurching at his old enemies to rip them apart—he got to one of them but he couldn’t get to all of them in time as they kept shooting at him. He felt the bullets piercing his flesh and burning his insides. He started crawling towards the door when Penny suddenly jumped from the window you were both looking at the massacre from and picked up his brother before jumping back inside the building.
Penny laid Pennywise down on the floor who let out heartbreaking dying sounds as you tried to help him…but there were too many bullets and everyone in the room knew that he was too injured. Pennywise was panting and you took his gloved hand in yours.
"Pennywise…Please. Stay." You sobbed and Pennywise chuckled before caressing your cheek.
"…Sorry, kid. Seems like I can’t stay this time around." He looked at Penny who seemed just as devastated as you. "But, take care of that big dummy for me, okay ?"
You nodded and Pennywise smiled before exhaling his last breath—his hand still in yours. Penny let out a loud scream as he knew that his brother was gone…He then glared outside and before you could stop him, he jumped out to fight the losers.
Meanwhile, you stood up shakily and rewind time to stop this fight…
Penny:
Penny was captured by the Losers’ club and when he saw the ancient silver spear…he knew that his time was up. They threw him on his knees and Penny cackled as he saw little Bevy Marsh walk forward with the spear in hand. How fitting that it would be her.
"~Sweet sweet Bevy…" He murmured and he couldn’t stop laughing. He didn’t know why he laughed. Maybe because he had lost the ability to cry long ago…As Bevy was about to pierce his heart, he heard one loud scream and looked up to see your horrified expression as you knew what was about to happen.
Penny forced himself to smile reassuringly at you. Pennywise was already dead, he would join him and his daughter wherever they were…He closed his eyes and Beverly used the spear to kill him under your tearful eyes.
"Noooo !" You screamed. And then, time seemed to slow before rewinding. You had to stop this…all of this.
Arthur Fleck:
You found Arthur on the floor of your apartment, covered in blood. You immediately knelt beside him.
"No ! Arthur ! What happened ?!"
Arthur chuckled.
"I spent so many years…so many years…trying to find my way. Avoiding death. It is quite fitting that I would die by the hands of the bat, as we all knew it would happen. It was him or me."
You cried as you tried to stop the blood from flowing.
"No. Stop talking. Please, Arthur. Stay with me. I’ll call the hospital, they’ll soon be here. Just…hold on. Hold on for me."
Arthur shook his head and smiled at you.
"It’s okay, sweetie. It’s too late." He ran his knuckles on your cheek. "I wish…I wish we had met before the world turned me into a monster. Maybe with you, I would have turned into a saint instead ? That would have been quite funny…wouldn’t you agree ?"
He then took his last breath—his eyes becoming wide and glassy. You hugged him tightly and screamed—time rewinding as you did.

Calluses on His Gentle Hands
Pairing: Lieutenant John Price x F!Reader
Synopsis: John Price was the one to help you up from the concrete corner you had pushed yourself into when the gunfire had started; his hand holds yours like delicate glass despite the hard calluses. Sticking by him seemed like a good idea.
Word Count: 3.4k
Warnings: Mentions of human trafficking (implicit), blood, trauma, a small amount of angst, fluff
A/N: Lieutenant John needs some love alright, he’s adorable. Tried to make his characterization slightly different because of the age difference from younger to older Price, but it’s still pretty much the same. Part 2
*I do not give others permission to translate and/or re-publish my works on this or any other platform*
You told him that your name was Bird, but that wasn’t the entire truth – you never claimed to be honest, after all. Standing at the British man’s side, you had your fingers intertwined with the strap of his vest, holding tightly with a white-knuckled grip as your eyes bounced from one stranger to another nervously.
He had said his name was Lieutenant John Price not half an hour earlier – when he offered a hand to you. Your body was on the ground, curled like a feral cat with its back arched, shaking, and sniffing. Breathlessly, you had given your moniker back, not wanting to upset him.
Now, from the corner of the Lieutenant’s dull blue eyes, you could see his gaze watching you, lips lightly held in a thin line with a stiff-straight body. You shuffled farther behind him when another armed man passed, a sharp breath getting sucked into your mouth. You were terrified.
When this strange group of men raided the warehouse, you had expected to die along with the other women and your captures in the gun battle. You had heard the screams from your cell through the concrete above your head; seen many of the men run down the hallway outside your barred door, throwing terrified glances behind them. Like they were running from something right on their heels, eyes so wide the whites were showing starkly in the dim light.
They didn’t make it very far before their corpses hit the floor, the shots fired from a gun just out of view. The soldiers had opened the cells after – all of them – and the women had sung praise, thanking them with shaking hands and tight embraces. But you had stayed, curled up in the corner, shaking.
Until John.
“Ma’am,” He had said, kneeling on one leg while the other clutched his M16 to his chest, the muzzle still smoking, “I’m Lieutenant John Price in Command of Unit Bravo. You’re safe now.”
Unit Bravo? Safe? You had wondered, looking up at the man with confusion, How can I be safe?
Nonetheless, when he offered you a hand, you had taken it, looking in awe at how gently he gripped your limb in his own; John’s hand completely swallowed yours, and yet you felt like delicate glass in his grip. It was almost embarrassing how fast you had glued yourself to his side from then on, but you couldn’t help it. His hold had been so kind depside his calluses…you had never experienced that before.
It had been a while since you’d been outside, everything felt so…big as you looked at it. It didn’t help that it was night, either. The shadows danced over every corner, the streetlights illuminating only tiny circles along the deserted warehouses.
Your fingers shake as you once more tighten your grip on John’s vest strap, peering around his large frame hesitantly as everyone else was corralled into large black and tan vehicles.
“Bird,” John mutters, turning his head with poise to look over his shoulder at you, the tan beanie covering his brown hair as it sits lightly on his scalp, “You should go with the others. Get those cuts looked at, yeah?”
All you do is stare at him, watching the light reflect off his iris as the stubble along his jaw shifts when his lips pull into a frown. You’re fascinated by how he talks to you so softly, tone breathy yet gruff as if anything above a whisper would break you. Maybe, you tell yourself, it would.
You didn’t doubt that you looked like hell.
John’s hands tighten over his M16, one resting along the body and the other held at the ready by the trigger. This wasn’t supposed to be his job – he was here with Execute Authority for a known human trafficker with ties to a foreign terror organization – he’s not supposed to act as a bodyguard for CIVs.
Your flinch at the loud noise of one of the Humvee doors being slammed shut, face scrunching up as your eye partially closes. John’s chest tightens, face turning to the soldier in his unit who was walking past, and a wave of anger filters through his blood before he quiets it with a huff.
The target was already dead – the threat neutralized…so why did he feel so unaccomplished? Why did he feel antsy when someone made you flinch? Your hand on his vest radiates body heat as it shifts its hold, and behind him, he feels you move slightly closer like you were trying to disappear into him. He knows your eyes are wide with fear.
“Hm,” He grunts, eyes moving from one packed Humvee to another. Everyone was nearly packed up and ready to move out, only a few soldiers waiting for his signal.
With his fingers drumming over his weapon, his body moves before his mind can catch up.
You let out a squeak when John’s frame turns, and you release the vest strap in confusion before letting your hands wrap around your middle. Taking a tiny step back when you realize how close you two have become, the Lieutenant speaks with a tilted down head.
“You gonna ride with me, then?” He begins, his feet moving the weight of him from one hip to another, legs shoulder length apart, “Long way back to base, Ma’am,” He moves his head as if to clarify, “You sure you don’t want to be with your friends?”
You blink before your tiny voice wavers, “Yes,” out into the cold air before an even smaller, “Please,” follows a moment later.
Not a second later, given only a firm nod and a narrowed glance, Price’s hand lays a small distance above your shoulder blades, guiding you gently to his Humvee down the road. Looking behind him, he raises his other hand in the air and points a finger, making it circle twice in the air.
Engines rumble to life, and the remaining soldiers that were watching all scramble over to the sides of their vehicles; grasping the handles. They disappear moments later into the interior.
“Pothole,” John grunts at your side, startling you out of your daze. He doesn’t look at you, “Watch your feet.”
You peek down just in time to be able to extend your gait, planting a bare foot on the other side of a large hole in the ground. Sparing the handsome man beside you a glance, you feel a small smile tug at your bitten lips.
“Thank you,” You say, blinking up at him as he towers beside you like a sentinel. The sides of his eyes soften, and a small, nearly unnoticeable, twitch of his lips makes your heart beat faster. You can’t help but think a smile would look absolutely dashing on him.
You look away before your face can get any hotter, but you’re sure the man saw the way you kept sneaking ogling looks at him as you walked on.
“This way, Love,” John utters, and soon you’re being helped into the back of a vehicle with warmth in your veins, the Lieutenant’s hand holding the door open behind you. You feel his free hand outstretched near your back to make sure you don’t fall, ghosting over the thin material of your shirt. Shivering, you can’t play this one off on the cold.
“Cadet,” He commands when you are seated fully inside, sending a glance over your body as he hops in. John sits beside you and, on the floor, your ankles crossed, “Move out. I want us back on base in the next two hours. I expect a full medical team to meet us on the Tarmac, clear?”
“Sir.”
The Humvee pulled forward, the metal under your feet shaking as pebbles and debris hit it. About ten minutes into the drive you had spaced out, your hands clenched in your lap as you stare out the window with wonder.
On the side of your face, you feel his gaze, staring at you with those blue eyes of his with a muted wonder, and against your better judgment, your lips shift to ask a question.
“You didn’t expect us to be there…did you?” Blinking over at John, he sits stiffly upright in his seat, body heat encapsulating you as he meets your eyes. His arm lightly brushes your own when the vehicle jerks, sending sparks up your skin in its wake. The Lieutenant’s presence didn’t make you afraid of him, nor does his touch – and that alone made you happy. You decided you quite liked John, with all of his gruffness and strong arms. He was kind to you, and his hands were warm. That was really all that mattered.
“I had intel,” He hums his response, sighing and quirking a brow, his lips pulling into a frown despite the soft-looking skin of his face. His chest rumbles with his low tone, “Yeah, load of bullshit, that was. You weren’t supposed to be there, no. No one was beside the target.”
You’re aware of the looseness of your muscles, your body comfortable in its seat as you play with your fingers, feeling the peeled skin around your nail.
“I’m glad I was,” You sputter at the creasing of Price’s eyebrows, a narrowed glance laced with confusion. With your chest lurching you continue, embarrassed, “There, I mean. I’m glad I was there. You got me out... you…you got them out.” Motioning behind you, you know he understands you’re talking about the other women trailing behind.
John stares at you with half his head turned away, jaw slacked as if he had never expected to be thanked for what he did. His eyes snap from one part of your face to another as he gazes down at you, dark eyelashes caressing his cheeks. Price looks comedically stumped – not knowing what to say. You can’t help the smile that blossoms over your lips before you turn back to the window watching the quiet world zip past.
You arrive at the base with no further interactions, only sitting in silence with the occasional sneaky glance when the other wasn’t looking. John went around you to open the door when the Humvee came to a stop, thumping down to the ground before turning mechanically. He offers a hand up with a tiny nod, his other holding his gun steady; only after a second of hesitation you silently take it, fingers splaying over his palm before wrapping around his skin. You hope you don’t have to let go anytime soon.
“Steady, Love,” John huffs, settling a hand on your shoulder to keep you from falling over as you stumble. Black dots dance in your vision and you wanted more than anything a good meal and a soft bed to fall into. You blink rapidly as Price continues, “There you go. Now, let’s get those cuts looked at, yeah?”
You hadn’t bothered to think about the thin injuries over your cheeks and forehead, made by blunt nails and bruises left by fists, at the time being concerned over them felt silly. Strange men were breaking you out of your hell, and worrying over cuts was at the back of your mind. But now John brings you over across the paved ground as the rest of the vehicles pull into the base, hand at first trying to slip away until your grip tightens fearfully. He doesn’t comment, just fixes his hold and walks with you to a group of men and women who come rushing out of the large building ahead. Your feet lightly dig into the ground as you suck in a slow breath.
“Lieutenant,” A woman asks, her boots slapping to the floor, “I was told it was urgent.”
“Upwards of fifteen CIVs,” John walks past, bringing you closer to his side as you swallow nervously at the number of people around you, hand going to wrap around your waist. Your skin feels hot, “All women with wounds spanning from minor abrasions to open injuries. Cadet Percy can explain more,” The Lieutenant pauses before turning around to look at everyone, “I only want female nurses and doctors working on them, Rog?”
“Understood, sir.”
“Hm,” John grunts, moving you quickly into the interior of the building and down a couple of hallways until you reach a wooden door. Your body had melted into his strong chest by now, not bothered by the packs and hard places in his vest; you had slept in worse places. Fatigue had come to put its weight on your shoulders as adrenaline leaves you high and dry.
“‘M tired,” You mutter, a hand coming to rub at your eye sockets before your fingers catch on a piece of cut skin above your eyebrow. Hissing, John's hand comes to clasp yours, pulling it away firmly from your flesh so you don’t make the injury bleed.
“I know,” He says, locking his eyes with yours, “almost done, Bird. Just stay awake a little longer for me, eh?”
Price releases your hand as you stay transfixed by his blue eyes, seeing the small flashes of starlight as the overhead lights buzz in your ears. You nod shyly, eyes innocently wide.
The large man pushes open the wooden door with a shoulder and moves you inside, directing you over to a small hospital bed in the middle of the room. You sit down silently. On his chest you watch his radio come to life and see John tense as he runs a hand over his jaw.
Looking around quickly, his head locks onto a moving metal medical table as he presses down on the device. A loud voice comes through.
“Lieutenant,” A masculine tone echoes through the tiled room, and you bring your legs up to rest on the mattress, folded beside you. Watching carefully, you feel curiosity enter your veins as you follow the man zip from one location to another, placing multiple medical items on the table and setting his gun down against the wall.
“Yes, Captain MacMillan, Sir?”
“I don’t see you on the Tarmac with your men. Where are you? I want a briefing on the mission...and why the hell are there CIVs here, Son?”
John grabs a wrap of stark white gauze, looking back at you as you tilt your head in question. Your eyes crease.
“I don’t want to keep you,” You blink away your tiredness, “You have more important things to do.” Attempting to convince him, you send a smile over.
Price frowns, eyes narrowing as he places the gauze down and rolls the table over. Its tiny wheels squeak horrendously, making your ears twitch.
“Lieutenant? I repeat, where are you, soldier?”
“The mission was a success, Sir, the target was eliminated,” John, stone-faced, says into the radio, “I’m tending to a CIV in the medical ward of building number five. I’ll be done in twenty.”
“Lieutenant Price, I want you out here right now,” Your eyes widen chest tightening at the loud tone. John huffs, a hand coming to push his beanie down further over his head, “That’s an order–”
That’s when John pulls the wire on top of his radio out, picks it up in his large fingers, and grabs the microphone that hooks around his ear. He tosses them both down to the table with a clenched jaw as you watch, blinking in surprise. When you feel his eyes on you, your face turns up with a slack jaw.
“Well,” You stutter, face feeling warm, “I…suppose that’s one way to do it. But won’t you get in trouble for that?”
“Humph,” John grunts, grabbing a disinfectant wipe with surety as he rips open the plastic protector around it, “Let him bloody try.”
He readies the wipe in one of his hands, the other coming up to your jaw. When you tense he freezes, but soon the hesitance from you leaks away the motion returns to his limb; his fingers come to grab at your chin, gently holding your head in place softly. When you place more weight into his hold and release a deep-chested sigh he quirks an eyebrow.
“This might sting, Doll,” John whispers.
“That’s alright,” You mutter back, staring into his beautiful eyes as the wipe comes into view in the side of your vision, “Not your fault.”
He only releases a puff of air from his lips before adding the smallest amount of pressure to your forehead, running the wipe over the red flesh.
His eyes squint when he’s focused, You find, and clutch the knowledge like a precious jewel to your heart. No one had been this delicate with you since…well, you couldn’t really say.
This carries on for a good while – him cleaning your wounds – and at some point, your eyes started drooping against your will. You had never fallen asleep in the presence of a man before, you were always so afraid of what would happen, but John was warm. Safe.
You had never felt safe before; a blanket of calm wrapped around your shoulders stemming from calloused fingers and a caress of warm hands.
You felt his grip on your chin tighten momentarily, prompting you to slip one eye open.
“Still with me?” He asked, pausing to bend down slightly.
“For now,” Your eyes flicker, lids heavy like they were tied with bricks.
“...Nearly done,” John mutters, but you feel him watching, listening to the beat of his pulse as the blood pumps in his flesh under your chin, “Then I’ll let you rest. No one else’ll come into this room ‘cept me, yeah?”
“Mhm,” grunting out a response, your hands in your lap move to cover the yawn trying to escape your lips, pulling your head back to duck it. Immediately, you miss the grip on your chin with a deep ache.
John pulls you back with his hands on your shoulders when you’re done, tilting his head down and letting his eyes slide over your cleaned cuts and bruises.
“Let me see you, Bird,” Smiling slightly you face him head-on, tilting your head comedically, “Ah,” The Lieutenant nods his head slowly, face attractively close, “there she is.”
Your eyes snap to the floor in embarrassment, the eye contact making your face feel like it was being held to an open fire. A deep rumble of a chuckle escapes the soldier in front of you, bouncing off the walls and his hands drop slowly to his sides. Your heart skips a beat.
“Will…Will you be back soon?”
John shuffles his feet shoulder length apart, crossing his arms over his chest, “...Do you want me to come to see you?” He asks.
“Yes!” You all but whip your head up, eyes lighting with surety as the man looks at you in shock, “I…I feel safe with you. And I don’t know anyone else here besides the other women.” Your voice trails off the farther it gets into the sentence, but you know he heard you regardless.
A moment passes where you think he’ll deny you, and you hope you won’t show the disappointment and fear on your face when he does.
“Yes, Ma’am.” Blinking, you lock onto his frame, his body only a few feet away. A smile blossoms over his lips and you freeze. You were right, you think to yourself as your eyes lighten, a smile did suit him. Dumbly, you answer.
“O-okay.”
“I’ll be back in thirty,” John nods his head, handsome smile gone as fast as it was there, “If anything goes wrong,” He pulls a spare radio from his back pocket, walks over to you, and holding it out, shows a button on the side of the device, “Press down and speak. The channel is already linked to mine, so don’t mess with it too much.”
You nod and watched as John keeps his eyes locked with yours with what you thought to be more than normal. Not that you minded, you just stared right back. Shaking himself out of whatever stupor had overtaken him, the Lieutenant pulls back and grabs his dismantled radio from the medical table, clipping the wire back and hooking the microphone over his ear with effectiveness. In no time he was making his way over to the door, hand grasping the knob and twisting.
He hesitates.
“Call for whatever reason, Love,” John looks over his shoulder at you and you clutch the radio a little tighter to your chest, “No matter how small.”
And with that, he stalks out the door and closes it softly. You hear his footsteps gradually getting quieter as he leaves. With a smile, an idea pops into your head, and with a gleeful expression, you press down the radio button.
Hearing the static you wait only a second before speaking into it, voice hushed.
“Thank you, John.”
A moment.
Two.
“Copy, Bird…Get some rest. That’s an order.” A smile blossoms as you fall back into the mattress holding the radio in hand. Your chest felt abnormally light, but you knew why this time.
Safety to you was calloused fingers – warm hands that have scars along the skin; holding you delicately. Safety to you was John Price.
You couldn’t wait until you saw that beautifully kind man again.

Baby Fever - AIB Boys HCS
Summary: They want a baby with you!
Warnings: NSFW at some parts - MDI - +18 - Banda's part is dark - Dub/con - Mentions of abortion - Mentions of pregnancy - Pregnancy Kink
♡ Chishiya
Never consider himself to be able to be a father. His own was never at home so Chishiya grow mostly alone, his mother going to shopping trips and fancy dinners leaving him behind.
So no, the idea of having a kid with you never went into his mind till he saw you interact with a newborn in the hospital. He was not sure how you ended there, maybe having his last name was enought to have acces to all the hospital. However, his attention is on you, how you are taking the baby in your arms, looking at it like its your own world, if you are showing so much love to a random kid...how it would be with one of yours?
The idea stays in his mind, slowly it blows up into full desire. Desire to fill you up, seeing your tummy get round with his kid. He wants to have you at home waiting for him, wearing lose ropes so he can kiss you and then your belly. He just needs you to agree to it.
♡ Arisu
Arisu melts when he sees you interacting with his niece, you have a strange shine when doing it and you look happier than ever.
It does not take a lot of time for him to tell you his wish to get you pregnant, how he would be different from his father and would be there for your needs and the baby needs.
♡ Banda Sunato
He wants it so he can control you. So you wont ever leave him. You cant leave your child with a monster like him....right?
Banda would let you know how he is going to be cumming inside you till you get prenant and taunt you for it. If you ever think on ending the pregnancy then he would just do it again and again till you are too tired to stop him.
♡ Tatta
It all starts with his kink. He loves cumming inside and loves your tits, he knows how much they change during pregnancy and he would love to be feed from your own milk. But Tatta knows the line, this is a kink and a child is a real responsability. He would move aside his sexual desires and think about it then tell you. Asking you if you ever would want one with him.
♡ Karube
He does not see himself as a father at all. The one who would end getting the idea in his head is you. Karube likes kids that are not his, he finds them cute but also difficult to deal with. And does not trust in his own ability to take care of one.
♡ Aguni
Honestly? You ask him and he will say yes. Oh! He adores the idea, he wants a girl, he wants to dress her in flower dresses and be his protector. Of course he is going to be hella worried during pregnancy and after it. He knows its an important step to take but he wants to!
♡ Kuzuryu
He lives tired, the idea of raising a kid may not be very appealing to him at first. Then he gets you pregnant by accident (bravo). Its worried the first weeks and its still worried after the baby is born. Its only when he starts to adjust to the New life in the house that his mind changes. How when he enters home late he finds you in the baby's room sleeping on a chair and your kid just happens to open its eyes and look at him. He felt his breath stop when it moved its hands towards him. Its when your kid starts to walk and say some words that the fever will hit him hard. He loves his first kid, but knows he was not very present during the process and disliked the idea at first. Now, he is 100% into it. Will talk to you about it and tell you how different he is going to be this time.
♡ Niragi
Accident or no, Niragi gets you pregnant and he is both scared and happy. Scared because he does not want his kid to suffer at school like he did (even if for that time there are still lots of years to pass) and happy cause he wanted to form a family with you the moment you said "yes" in the altar.

Wesker ensuring Chris survives in RE1
It's interesting that Wesker goes out of his way to save and protect Chris when he made it clear that his team was now expendable. (gonna ignore the plot/plot armour and all that here for a sec)
Waiting a second or two and Chris would have been out of the picture, one less member to worry about. He could have also fired and missed to pretend he was making an attempt to save Chris.
Then there's the gun left in the main hall (which was Jill's). Why would Wesker just leave it there and not take it with him? Surely it would have been smarter to take it with him and leave Chris defenceless and vulnerable. He must have known Chris could comeback to look for them (if he hadn't been killed by a zombie). Chris somehow lost his samurai edge as he was running to the mansion, Wesker would have noticed. When he takes Jill captive he left the gun for Chris to find and use.
Leaving notes, items and ammo for Chris outside safe rooms/areas as Chris progresses to help him survive would mean he may have known his whereabouts constantly or left them there on the off chance Chris would pass through the area. One thing in particular is something that has ?? me for a while; if Wesker was trying to be discrete/laying low and avoid his betrayal being known, why even let Chris know it was him helping? Could he have somehow pretended it was Jill leaving the items and make it seem she was okay? "Look for a way out." + "Make sure you can get away." why even write that? He didn't have show concern/pretend to care to keep up appearances, yet he seemed to want Chris to survive or escape instead of simply letting Chris die to a zombie or by Wesker himself killing him. And going out of his way to fix doors for him? That's just encouraging Chris to continue his investigations and survive.
Then the scene with Enrico. It only occurred to me much later that Wesker had actually saved Chris from being shot. Wesker had an opportunity to take them both out, or wait for Enrico shoot Chris and then take care of Enrico himself. It wouldn't have been hard for him to kill them both then and there.
Why go through all the trouble of keeping Chris alive long enough for him to find out the truth? Why want Chris in particular to survive long enough to see the Tyrant and his true motives? Ultimately I believe Wesker had faith in Chris to survive up until the lab moment, I don't think he saw Chris as expendable like the majority of his team and team bravo. If he was he would have made more of an effort to get him killed and wouldn't have helped/saved him. It was important for Chris to see Wesker's true colours. We don't really have much to go on in regards to what their relationship was like before the mansion incident, only by what the novels say and bits and pieces. One thing for sure is that Chris befriended Wesker and they were casual enough with each other for Chris to disregard Wesker's title as captain and calling him by his last name instead of 'captain' or even 'sir'.
Random thing I noticed but liked; in the opening cutscene there's a shot of Wesker aiming his gun to the right then it switched to Chris just after who's aiming his gun to the left, like they're aiming at each other.

𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒
pairing: bodyguard!joel miller x actress!reader
genre: bodyguard and actress AU + forbidden romance & age gap
word count: 866
summary: Joel is fed up with your bratty behavior.
warnings: age gap, unprofessional situations, dirty talking, thigh fucking, intercrural sex, explicit, bj, brat taming, sub/dom dynamics
He snapped. Simple as that.
It’s been a busy day. He took you from one event to another, scanning his surrounding suspiciously every time you stopped to give someone an autograph. He was fully frustrated when you stopped for the tenth time, a fan this time wanting to take a picture. It didn’t help that you’d been teasing him all day. Purposefully leaning over to expose more of your skin, or when you were seated next to him, the way your hand lingered on his thigh. It’s been an ongoing game for months. He knew what you wanted. But he couldn’t give it to you. Not when you were much younger than he was, and especially not when you were his boss.
But, of course, you had to be a little shit about it. Knocking on his hotel door at 2AM telling him that you were going to go to a party with Dieter Bravo—no way in hell would he let you go. Not when the man mentioned was nothing but bad news.
And nothing good ever happens after 2 AM.
“Joeeel,” you whine underneath him. “Just fuck me already.”
His cock throbs at the way your voice thins. He has both your hands pinned against your back, your vare chest flushed against his bed. You whine again and push back. His length hard and heavy as it slides between your thighs. He catches the way your breath hitches. His head spinning, he thrusts forward, your folds slick with need.
“I’m not gonna fuck you,” he rasps, voice shaking. “You’re such a little brat, teasin’ me all day with your nonesense. The last thing you need is a reward.”
Your cunt pulses and Joel groans at the heat. Precum dips from the head, throwing his head back, he grinds his hips. He doesn’t stop. Your moans and whines become louder, your body quaking underneath him. You look so small like this. The most famous actress in the world, at his mercy. Something hot and searing burns the inside of his stomach. With a sharp breath, he rolls his hips again, feeling the way you drip around him, your folds spread from his cock.
“Take your punishment without makin’ a fuss and maybe I’ll reconsider,” he grunts, enjoying throughly at the way you wantonly moan at his words.
Pushing back the thoughts that are screaming at him that this is a bad idea, Joel hammers into you. Your thighs are so fucking soft and wet from the way you’re soaking him. And after the day he’s had he’s more an ready to come between your legs and make even a bigger mess.
“J-Joel,” you stammer. Joel grits his teeth, anger fueling his thrusts. He hammers into you, pressure coils tight in his stomach. You let out another moan, crying out his name. “P-Please kiss me—Please—I’m…I’m about to come—”
He’s the stupidest man on earth to think he could deny you of anything.
Letting go of your wrists, Joel wraps an arm around you and pulls you up. He grips your chin and twists your neck enough so that he can reach your lips. Joel kisses you hungrily. He shoves his tongue between your lips and claims you as his own.
Joel can feel your desperation in the way he kisses you. His roughness turns into a wild hunger that takes over his body. You want to pull away, to catch your breath, but you can't. His tongue is everywhere at once, tracing every inch of your mouth.
Joel can feel your body tense, coiled tight like a spring ready to snap. He's close. And so are you. He can feel the pressure building, a knot forming in his stomach that's ready to burst. Before he does, he sucks on your bottom lip and pulls it between his teeth. You shudder against him, pretty pussy gushing and dripping down his lenght. You’re choking on his name, repeating it over and over. His head spins.
Suddenly, he pulls away from you, leaving you gasping for air. "On your knees," he commands, his voice harsh and deep. You obey without question, dropping to the floor beside the bed. His cock twitches at your obedience. He stands above you, his cock jutting out hard and thick from his body.
"Open your mouth," he growls. Words coming out of him without a second thought. You comply, taking him into your mouth. You suck him hard, deepthroating him as he grips your head tightly with btoh hands. He tenses up, his muscles clenching as he comes deep in your throat. His hot, bitter seed spills down your throat, and you swallow every drop, savoring the taste and the feeling of him pulsing against your tongue.
When the room finally stops swirling around him, he collapses down to the bed. You’re pliantly looking up at him, still between his legs, your pupils blown wide. His eyes linger at the drop of come sliding from the corner of your lip, he reaches out, catching it with his thumb, and pushes it back into your wet mouth.
“Are you goin’ to be good from now on?” he asks with not much conviction.
You don’t answer him, only smile.
