@brandonn-stark (almost typed "greatgatsby" lmao): I read it like 4 years ago and seen a few of the movies (fuck the haters I love baz luhrman's version he makes that shit FUN). 1) I like the story but tbh I hate the author lol and 2) I can't help but also think that nick/jay are bfs lol 😂 But u right they do have a great relationship and it just makes me sad

1. Stayin’ Alive by Say Lou Lou: Just listen to this song, it’s one of, if not the, best covers of The Bee Gees. The beat, the groove, the singing, it’s all amazing

2. Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing by Queen Kwang: another cover, but I remember listening to this in a promo for Peaky Blinders and I was just, “this is perfect and fits Tommy Fuckin’ Shelby like a glove!” I honestly feel like I’m gonna do some bad shit when this song comes on.

3. Black Milk by Massive Attack: It was the video JasonInTheZoo created. It’s the perfect mix of trip hop and one of my favourite movies, based on one of my favourite books, The Spy Who Came In From the Cold. The mood is so chill-music-you-listen-to-driving-on-a-stormy-night and it matches perfectly with a John le Carré story

4. Bloodstream by Stateless: I just love this song, ‘kay!

5. Dead Girl Walking from Heathers: The Musical: Because the singing is powerful, the lyrics pump you up, and it’s a fun, naughty song

6. Take Me Back To Your House by Basement Jaxx: This song is fun, but it’s the music video that sells it!

7. Everybody Wants to Love You by Japanese Breakfast: This song just feels like summer; the heat, the sun, all the fun. Every time it comes on I get a big grin on my face and a skip in my step.

8. Enjoy the Silence by Trevor Something: I came across this one night and there’s something about this that screams dark cyberpunk/sci-fi 

9. Numbers by Daughter: There’s been many days were this song perfectly matches my mood, especially recently...

10. Acadian Driftwood by Richard Shindell: I love folk music and history and a song about a little talked about event (the deportation of the Acadians in 1755) of Canadian history will always get my attention.

how i feel about this character: my child u did not deserve this life all the people i ship romantically with this character: alai... and shen.... together.............. fun polyamory business my non-romantic OTP for this character: ender/val/peter/happinessmy unpopular opinion about this character: idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not but i was super uninterested in his storyline in children of the mind to the point where i was kind of relieved when he died (i'm terrible shhhh) one thing i wish had happened with this character in canon: ah in a way i kinda wished he'd went back to earth because i'd love to see what'd he do in the shadow situation and plus i love his interactions with his jeesh. but this probably wouldn't help with the ender/happiness dream so at the very least i'd need the alai as a speaker au to be real.

@brandonn-stark: he hung out with Ernest Hemingway (who I admit was VERY hot back in like, 1918) and if u don't know much on him he wasn't a great dude either. (Fitzgerald was a dick and abused his wife ily Zelda sweetie.) Other than that I'm like "good story" lol. The movie from 1974 is on Netflix and I believe it's like, an exact adaptation of the book but I haven't that or the one from 2013 in a few years.
